Speaker 1 (00:03):
The following is a presentation of the College Athletes Network.
What's up, everybody, Thanks for listening to Twin Talk. We
are the Kavnard Twins. I'm Hannah, I'm Haley, and we've
got a great guest coming on today's episode. Our guest
(00:25):
is TikTok superstar and former Women's hooper Carson Rownie. She's
got almost five million followers, so I'm sure you guys
have all heard of her, and when you meet her
on the next segment, you guys will realize why she
has a ton going on. But first, let's discuss something
Haley and I Since the new year, we've been trying
to create new habits and focus really on like our
mental health. And I think something that um we've been
(00:47):
doing that's been helping tremendously is like when we wake up,
we will knock on our phone, like no screen time. Yeah,
I think it's hard to I was listening to actually
other people talk about this and I saw a lot
of quotes and stuff on Instagrams, like social media and
our phones. We use every everything a second of the day.
It's like, even though as we're victims of it, we
go to a dinner, we take a picture. We go here.
(01:09):
We want to capture all the highlights of our life.
And sometimes I'm just like, dude, Hayley, put the phone down, exactly.
And it's like every single time, like I hang out
with my people or like my close friends and I'm like,
not on my phone, it's like the best time. You're like,
oh my god, I didn't even go on my phone.
Like time went by so fast. It's like good company
makes you want to put your phone down, Like good
talks like shout out to my friend. One of my friends, Kensa,
(01:29):
Me and Hannah always would go to Talko Craft and
we would just sit there and talk for hours without
being on our phone. And I just like love being
around people that like you can do that for exactly,
And I think just like for your mental health and
less screen time and not always you know, going on
your phone and scrolling on Instagram and seeing everybody else's
highlight real Like you're a human, you're obviously naturally going
to compare yourself and sometimes it's it's really not good
(01:51):
for you, um and you just gotta put it down.
And I think we've been learning that and I think
this year I'm trying to focus on it every single day, Like,
do not pick up your phone right in the morning,
like it can wait, anything can wait. It's not. You
don't have to get back to a right you have
twenty four hours in a day. Yeah, that's true. But
I think it's so hard because nowadays social media and
phones and technology, it's part of people's jobs. Like social
(02:12):
media is tiktoker's, instagrammers, YouTubers. Yeah, it's our job to
highlight basically what our lives. People want to see what
we're doing on a day to day basis, on an
hour to our basis. So it's kind of trying to
filing that balance. But I kind of realized this. I
was thinking, like our families at dinner were always like
my dad always growing up, put your phone away, do
not have your phone at dinner, And I think that's
(02:33):
kind of been embedded to me. But now it's now
my phone's out at dinner, my phone's here, and it
kind of makes you a little bit distracted too, so
and I know our family gets a little like annoyed
by I feel I agree, And I think sometimes it's
hard because you know, posting on snapchat you can make money,
so it's kind of like you're working seven it's not
you know, you get a clock out on the weekends,
and that's like, um, kind of the heart of balancing
(02:55):
it at all. But I think this year if we
focus really harder on it. Um. But yeah, like I said,
I mean we're the first. We're the victims of it too.
Like I'm snapchatting seven um. Every time we get ready,
we're like, okay when we need to get a TikTok
out because you know, being a student athlete, you don't
have that much time throughout the day. So when you
get out of your basketball you perform and you put
a cute fit on, like you want to just you know,
(03:15):
make TikTok's and make drafts. You don't have to do
it throughout the week. So I think, um, yeah, just
trying to balance it all has definitely been hard, but
definitely one of our goals. I agree, And I think
it's just kind of scary too. It's like, growing up,
we always wanted to go outside and hang out with
our friends, and I'm just like, what is our kids
gonna want to do? Like you see kids nowadays three
years old chilling on their parents phone so they're not
(03:35):
annoying their mom or dad. So I'm just like, what
is it gonna look like in five years exactly? I
don't know. I don't my kids. I'm gonna be very weary.
I know it's ironic, but I don't know if I
want them to have a phone right away. I agree.
Now it's time to get ready for Carsonrooni, she joins us.
Right after this break, you're listening at twin Talk on
I Heart Radio. Welcome back to twin Talk. Make sure
(04:08):
you guys give us some feedback on the pod um.
You guys can find us on TikTok on Instagram, all
of our socials at the Kabindar Twins or at Hannah
and at Haley Cavendar. Let's welcome in TikTok star and
former Shawnee State basketball player Carson Rowney almost five million
followers on social media. She is busy, busy. How are
you today, girl? Hey, I'm good. Actually, I have an
(04:30):
off day today, so this is like perfect off day.
Mondays we have off on Monday's beautiful. We have class. Okay,
we have one class, but other we don't have like
lift and stuff because we play Thursdays and Sundays. So
Mondays we get off of like basketball, Oh great, yeah,
is that who? It wasn't Shawnee stay too, or we
(04:52):
played on Saturday, so we would get Sundays off a
lot um, But that wasn't like always like you guys
have a a set schedule. That's like amazing that you
like automatically have mone days off. We never knew when
her off day was until it happened. Oh yeah, because
we um it wasn't n C double A. So like
we didn't have like you guys legally have to have
(05:13):
a schedule ahead of time, like we didn't really it
changed like literally every day, so we didn't have like
we didn't know where when our off day was to
literally the day before. Oh my god. That sucks because
then you couldn't plan anything and stuff or like have
like a certain day to look forward to. Like it
was just like all right, no practice tomorrow, and we're like,
oh lovely, how was it though, Like speaking, I'm trying
(05:33):
to stay and so like how was your basketball career
there and everything, and like what made you choose to
go there? So the school was like forty five minutes
from like my hometown, so like technically I kind of
stayed home, like My sister went to school there. We
lived together, um while I played basketball. She was two
(05:54):
years older than me, so we kind of like the
first two years of college for me was like with
my sister. So it was like nice that like I
wasn't by myself. Yeah did she too, Yeah she played
in high school, but she didn't play in college or
anything really after high school. But like the team itself,
like I really enjoyed playing there. I don't know, I
(06:14):
feel like small schools are just so different. It's like
everyone knows each other at the school. It's like more personal,
I guess. I mean obviously, like we didn't get to
travel anywhere like crazy, but I enjoyed it for the
most part. I feel like I wouldn't be doing social
media if I went to a bigger school because I
wouldn't have had time to TikTok. I was because I
know you guys, like you're busy. I don't know how
(06:37):
you guys are just like juggling the two. But like
I was, um doing social media full time. Um because
you guys couldn't make money until like recently I was.
I was allowed to make money since to day I
started to night, So I was like grinding, trying to
make videos after practice and like survive off of social
(06:57):
media basically, and then like they came out with like
where everyone can make money, and I was like, okay, well,
like y'all better get a schedule together, get your homework
out of the way, and practice is like all day.
So yeah, definitely it was hard to juggle. But I
have a question to like, did you guys get a
(07:19):
stipend there or like did you like you had to
like have another like you said, like you were working
for a social media Did you guys get paid from
your scholarship at all? Or no? Um? So our school
was so small, like they had to basically like evenly
distribute scholarships like everyone that they wanted to give money
to they did. Like our school itself was paid for um,
(07:41):
but most of the time we didn't get enough to
like really live off of. So I was working a
full time waitress job to be able to pay my
rent and eat while playing basketball. Like I would leave
practice and go straight to work and work until like closing,
and then wake up, go to practice, class, and work again. Um.
(08:02):
And this was before I started in media, because like,
once I started doing social media, I could not juggle
like all of it, but like um, I would get
like kind of like a refund um each semester, but
like it wasn't enough money to really like I had
to buy books and stuff with it, so it wasn't
like enough to survive really, but like it was rough
out there. I'm so glad that like people can make
(08:26):
money from social media and like in I l deals
and stuff now because like like not all schools give
everyone like money like that to like live off of,
Like you just got to buy food and like pay
rent type ship. So it's like that's crazy. Like I
didn't even think. I didn't know that, So that's that's
like crazy you did that. It's really impressive to dude.
It's like mentally and like I think anywhere to everyone
(08:48):
always will asked me like, oh, like we played mid
major and then went to like the a CC and
everyone's like I'm like, no, Like anywhere basketball's basketball like that,
it's the grind, grind. So it's like mentally physically, like
that's the last thing you want to do after like
you're playing practices, like go do another job, you know
what I mean? So propsy yeah, and like I would
be on my feet. Like if I didn't have class,
I would be at work being a waitress all day
(09:09):
and then I would go to practice and practice for
like six hours and I'm like, I literally have not
sat down today, like and like I was used to
It's not even like it was like terrible, but like
I'm like it's still like practices practice and like mentally,
like you have to be prepared to go to practice,
and I'm like, oh my god, Like I literally just
dealt with old men like telling me I got their
order wrong the day You're like, bro, Like I just
(09:32):
want to like go to sleep at this point, but hey,
it all works out. So like you talked about like
doing social media and stuff, like when did things like
you started noticing like for social media started to take off?
Like how is like your experience with it? Um I
feel like it's kind of the same for like a
lot of people. During Quarantine our season, we were about
(09:55):
to go to um our National basically championship, and our
tournament got canceled and that was like a year like
we all knew we were gonna win, Like we were
blowing people out by like twenty like even like deep
in the season, like number one teams in the country
that goes crazy and like we knew we were gonna win,
(10:15):
and then our season got canceled. So I ended up
going to visit my mom because she lives in Florida,
and when I got there, like COVID hit and like
all flights got canceled, so I was stuck there for
like almost two months. So I was like, Okay, let
me just make some TikTok and then a couple of
them like blew up because I was doing like basketball stuff,
(10:36):
volleyball stuff, like I was like doing comedy tiktoks. It
was like all over the place, like I wasn't like
doing one thing, and people were like wow, like this
girl's like where did she come from? Like what is
going on? And then it kind of just like blew up.
And then I honestly was like overwhelmed, like no one
knows like you can make money from social media until
like a manager reaches out to you and it was like,
(10:56):
you know you could be making money from this. I'm like, well,
I mean I assumed, but like I didn't think it
was enough to like really care. And then I had
like spoke with the management and they're like, yeah, like
you could do this like full time. So I'm like, okay,
let me take this serious and like really grind. So
I was like making like seven to eight tiktoks a day,
and I'm like like now I can barely get in one.
(11:19):
It's like I like, I fear like it used to
be like so easy to just like film and like
edit all day, and I'm like, now I just really
don't have time for that. But like it's like crazy
how everyone kind of blew up at the same time,
because like even my friends that I like hang out
with in l A, like they all kind of gain
followers at the same time. So it's like we kind
of experienced this together. It's like everyone's kind of just
(11:42):
going day by day kind of like still trying to
figure it out. And I'm like, I mean I feel
like we got to figure it out, but it's like
none of us really knew what we were doing when
we got on here, and now it's like look at us.
It's like crazy, right now you're living in l A
or you're still living in l A, right, Yeah, I
love l A. It's like I'm from a really small
like country town, so it's like I've never lived in
(12:05):
a city before, and it's just like it's definitely different.
It's like so fast paced. Like I feel like if
I leave the house, like I don't come home until
ten pm, Like it's like you get plans, but once
you leave, like it's just like you're out. But definitely
it's eventful, and I think I enjoy living in a city.
(12:26):
I'm still trying to figure it out where i want
to live like full time. But because you're Midwest, right
you were from the Midwest or no, you're from Florida,
from Ohio, Hio, Okay, so then yeah, so it's totally different.
Family that lives in Florida, so I've been. I spent
a lot of time there as well. So it's like
it's just like chill over there. Like everything is just
so crazy and fast over here. It's like no one
(12:48):
sits down, just like facts Like I'm just like all right,
that's how Miami is. Like if I go to Fort Lauderdale,
it's like so chill, like by the beach, beach bars, everything,
Like I love Fort Lauderdale and I go to my
We're like in living in Miami and it's like I
do not need to be here, Like everyone's out to
like five am on a Tuesday. It's like, dude, these
people it's crazy, Like every day is Saturday here, I swear,
(13:13):
And I'm like, do you guys ever want to sleep?
Like they're like, no, let's go to dinner. It's someone's birthday.
And I'm like, it's someone's birthday. Every day celebrate a birthday.
I'm gonna literally die right. Um So, like, where has
it been like your favorite experience so far? Like through
social media, like that social media has brought you? Um
(13:36):
I would say honestly, like I feel like networking and
meeting a lot of people. It's just like it's like
people don't realize like who people know. Like you can
go to an event in l A and meet this
person and they're like, oh, like I'm actually like managers
of Chris Brown and like this and that. Like it's
like you just don't realize like how many genuine people
(13:59):
like you actually get to meet. It's one thing like
I just I don't know being from a small town,
like everyone knows everyone in their business, like everyone's close.
But like living here, you realize like you have a
select group of friends, like not everyone is like like
you don't really see everyone often, so like once you
find your group of friends, it's like nice. I would say, Um,
(14:20):
I would say that's one thing. Another thing I would
say working with Coach was pretty cool. Um that was crazy.
It was crazy, Like I think it was like a
pink point I had, Like, Um, I think it's like
a year long deal with them. Um what we got
(14:41):
to do like a lot of crazy stuff like fashion
Week in New York, like photo shoots and like our
pictures were all over like Australia and like all kinds
of like people fans from all over the country were
like your pictures in the Coach store and I'm like
there's no way, and like they're sending me videos and photos.
I'm like, this is so crazy, Like my face is
in a store. It was crazy, But um yeah, Coaches
(15:05):
a big one. I'm very big. What about like in
l A, Like I've always heard, like I've seen on
TikTok like people are so fake or like you can't
trust anybody, and like have you experienced anything like that
or is it just like that's just like what people
say because I'm never I'm only there like to visit
like part time. Like I don't know if I could.
I don't know, like living there and stuff. Um, I
(15:27):
wouldn't say like everyone's fake. I feel like a lot
of people say that, um, because that's like the vibe
everyone gets here. It's like I would say, if you
live here, you live here for a reason. So it's
like either you know, you have money, you you're in movies,
you have followers of some sort. Like everyone is someone here.
So it's not like I don't think people are fake.
(15:49):
It's like everyone's just trying to get their own you
know what I mean, like get it out. Everyone's trying
to work and make money. And it's like some people
take that as like using you or like they don't
they're not genuine, or like they don't really like you.
It just it depends on what kind of person you are,
where you're from. Really, I like, what's the how you
take that? And to me, it's like I don't know.
(16:10):
I mean I live by myself and I'm like like
I love my alone time, so like when I do
hang out with people, it's like genuine time. So it
just depends on your friend group, I guess. I mean overall,
it's just it's just a city. Like if you're gonna
let someone like just be fake to you then until
I feel like that's like your decision, you know what
(16:31):
I'm saying. Yeah, actually that's a good way to put it.
Yeah and so, and it's a good way to put
it to you. Like everyone's like trying to collab. Everyone's
trying to you know, like get get a bag too,
like because I don't not to hustle. A lot of
people will say like, oh, like we filmed together and
then like they just like left, or like they just
didn't even say anything, like they just never talked to
(16:52):
me again. It's like like you kind of got to
catch the vibe before you hang out with someone, like
if they just want to film with you or if
they actually want to be your friend, Like you kind
of just gotta I mean, it's it's like TikTok. It's
like you film a video and you go on and
buy to day. It's like whatever, facts, stay right there, Carson.
We got more questions coming your way. It's about to
(17:12):
get a little juicy. This is Twin Talk on College
Athletes Network. We will be right back. How do you
deal with like hey on social media? Like what advice
(17:32):
would you like, what have you been through. That's like, okay,
Like this is how I cope with hate or stuff
and stuff like that. It's a great question. Um. I
feel like as female athletes, we just get hate anyways.
It's like you can't really like dodge it. Um. But honestly,
like I realized, the more you react to it, the
(17:53):
more people are like, oh, we got her, like let's
do so. Like it got to a point where I
was like responding to people's comments and was just like, oh, like,
I'm sorry you're having a bad day, like I hope
you have a better day. And then they're like damn,
like she's being nice, Like I'm sorry I said that.
Like people like if you kill people with kindness, like
they realize dang, Like I really just hate my life
(18:13):
and I'm taking it out on someone I don't even know.
So it's like I was doing that for a while
and I was like, you know what, it's just I'm
still putting energy into it. So I honestly like I
really don't even read most of my comments anymore, um,
and if I do, I try to like keep it
to like my fans that have been there since day one,
you know what I'm saying, Like because I don't want
to just not respond to fans or people in general,
(18:35):
because it's like not everyone's you know, has a terrible heart,
but like the people that do, it's like I don't know.
I just know. It's like like through a phone it's
easy to say, but like if you see someone in
person that would never say that to you. So it's
like I think it's a heart. I never like at first,
I definitely did because I was not used to social
(18:56):
media or people being mean. It's like like these people
don't even know me, and I was like they're being
so mean to me. But now it's like does I
don't know. I just feel like I don't even see
it at this point. It's like such a norm that
you're like used to it, like when it comes with it,
like it's kind of glad that it's a norm, though,
Like I feel like everyone should definitely do better. Um,
(19:18):
it shouldn't be like, oh, like they're just trolls, Like
why like why are you trolls? Like why are you
trolling for? Like like it's weird, Like I would never
go on my day to like comment on someone's video
and be like you don't look good or like something
like that, you know what I mean, Like I just
would never think that. I don't know if it's I
was raised that way, but like I'm not gonna go
make someone's day back, you know what i mean. Like
(19:39):
it's weird slay the same thing. Like I'm like scrolling
to tik Off, I'm like, oh I don't like this video.
Like I'm just gonna scroll past it. I'm not going
to click the comment button and be like this is
a terrible video and then comment it, like just scroll
path like go about your day and half the time,
like I told him in this too, when we're deal
with some like these people are so far off, like
they have no idea what's going on, and like they
(20:02):
comment this stuff, I'm like no clue, like you were
so far left, like it's something funny. So like I'm
just like they think they know everything. And then it's
like all right, whatever, let them think it. Like like
you said, like the reaction is what they want. So
it's like you know what you think that Like literally
it's like comical, like like okay, yeah, oh no, I
laugh because it's like you see five seconds of my
(20:23):
day on the TikTok video and you think I don't
do anything else in my life. I took this, actually
took this video six days ago. I'm just posting it
today because I haven't had time to video. And they're like,
oh my god, like you post videos like this is
what you do. I'm like, I actually don't have time
to post videos. You're lucky you got this one. Right,
Come on now, right? How did you deal with like
(20:45):
people starting to recognize you and like your life being
like so public. Obviously it's like out like you know
what I mean, Like everything's kind of open to people
to like judge, was that like hard for you, like
when people came up to you and stuff like that,
or you just kind of like, you know, like very
open to it. Um, I would they have? First it
was a little weird, like I didn't feel like people
(21:10):
were stalking me. But that's like kind of the vibe
I got, Like it was like super cool something oh
my gosh, like these people know who I am. But
then again it's like, oh my gosh, like they know
who I am? Like do they know like where I live?
Because like people in my hometown, it's like where I live,
Like it's like can I go places and not like
look a mess, like I can't feel like I'm like
(21:30):
I can't even go to the gas station, like unless
I put it on an outfit like fix my hair.
I'm like, I'm crazy. I was, but um, it was
definitely And it was like because I was in a
very public relationship to which that was also well known
in the basketball world. Is like and I'm six ft
two and he was six five, so it's like everywhere
we went we were bigger than everyone noticeably, like people
(21:53):
just noticed us. So it was like it was a
lot um. But now in l A, it's normal, Like
you see Adam Sandler on the sidewalk and no one
says anything to him, like it's like normal. So it's
like definitely not as like crazy here. Um yeah um,
but yeah, definitely a weird sensation, I would say at first,
(22:17):
something to get used to. Like it's like you have
to be comfortable like just having a conversation with people
you know nothing about, like hey, Carson, they feel like
they know everything about you, and it's like you probably
do from social media, and it's like like you don't
know their name, where they're from, or anything. So it's
like you have to try to get to know someone
that like already knows you. So it's like it's such
(22:37):
a good way to put it. I didn't think like that. Yeah, yeah,
because it's like hey Carson, like I saw you posted
this video like you went to the mall and like
you have a brother and a sister and this and that,
and I'm like, oh, how are you? Like what's your name? Yeah,
from like what's going on? It's just like weird. Yeah,
But that that definitely was like hard for us in
(22:59):
the beginning to just because like people like you said,
like I'm like more of like a safety girl. Like
I'm like, oh my god, Like do they know where
I live? Like I've had people send us like flowers
to her house and I'm like how did you get
her address? Like stuff like that, And I'm like that's creepy.
You know. It's like very nice, but a little a
little weird. It's very nice, but also like stalkers are
(23:19):
like a real thing, and there's like a lot of
like sex trafficking and a lot of things going on
right now. So I'm like that's like the last thing
I want someone to get my address or know anything.
Like I changed my name on Postmates to change my
name on ubers. Change my name on mainly everything unless
like a package that like I order um, but like
anyone that's delivering anything to my house, like I don't
put my name on it just because like I've had
(23:41):
a delivery man literally messaged me afterwards and I was like, hey,
like I've seen you on TikTok and I'm like that's
absolutely terrifying cause I don't know where I live, Like shoot,
yeah yeah. So I'm like my name is nowhere and
it just it sounds crazy and people like, oh, like
that's so like you're not that famous. I'm like, you
don't have to be famous to like for anyone to
know who you are, Like you could be just a
(24:02):
really successful businessman. That's like not on social media. But
if someone knows your name and they know you have money,
like that's scary. So it's like I know where you live, like,
so I made sure to do that. Okay, what do
you see? Okay, so say social media, like do you
want to see yourself continuing social media down the road
(24:22):
or like what do you see yourself doing in like
two to five ten years? Yeah, I just I feel
like that's like a conversation. Everyone kind of has to
have eventually because it's like social media will be here
and it's like I'm gonna do it like it's here,
you know, it's convenient, but it's obviously not something I
want to do full time. Like I don't want to
be having to post on social media every day like forever,
(24:45):
Like it's it's very mentally draining. Um, it's not really healthy.
I feel like to be on social media like that anymore,
like all day, every day. Um. So as of right now,
I'm in the middle of like creating a clothing brand. Um.
Always been into fashion, So like I'm starting up that. Um,
good for you, dude, that's I'm totally buying it. Like
(25:08):
your style, That's what I'm saying. You have a nice
switch up. That's what I like. Like I like girls
that can do both. Yeah, because that's what they like
told me. They were like, we need like you to
create clothes that like like people like enjoy seeing you
wear because it's like a lot of people that come
out they're like, oh, like we have a sweatsuit. It's
like okay, cool, but like do you wear that? Like
(25:30):
I feel like I'm kind of enjoying my style, So
I'm like trying to like switch it up a little bit.
But um, I'm working with this company um and like
hopefully like it's successful on one day, like I can
like branch off and like create my whole own like thing.
But we're kind of just testing the water right now,
so like we're going to see where that goes. UM.
I've kind of had some people ask me if I
(25:51):
want to do like acting and like commercials in l
a um, so we're like kinda edging into that. I'm
really just I'm trying to test out everything because I'm
like acting isn't for everyone. Like you get in there
and you're like, oh, like I can't act, like but
you don't know until you try it. And then it's
like a lot of people ask me if I want
to do like sports broadcasting like interviews at like NBA games,
(26:12):
and like that would be so cool, but like being
live is absolutely terrified, especially so like talking about basketball.
It's like I know basketball, but sometimes I feel like
things come up and you're like like what are you
even saying? Like you know what I'm saying right, Like
I have an answer, but like this is live, Like
you're gonna have to give me a second to think,
(26:33):
like I'm not very quick on the like the dome.
So I'm like, yeah, but try everything. Like i want
to say, I love like what I'm passionate about, and
like like I enjoy doing basketball stuff, and like I
want to get into YouTube more because YouTube is like
a very long term like YouTube will be there no
matter what. So but it's like I'm really just testing
(26:54):
out everything. I don't really that's a good way to
look at it, though. I have to figure out like
what you're truly passionate about, and then after that, like
it's like put all your time into it, yeah, because
I don't want to try one thing and put all
my time into it and then may not even end
up liking it. So I'm like trying to do a
little bit of everything and see like where my brain
kind of goes. I feel you though, Like, so I
(27:16):
don't like to have to post on like TikTok. I
struggle with like for some reason, I'm not big on
like oh my gosh, I want to post every single
day and talk like I'm I'm a fan of like Snapchat, Instagram, whatever,
But like sometimes I'm just like social media, I'm just
like I need to go a different way, Like I'm
this is not for me, but also it's like it
has set you up so much, and like it's like
(27:36):
you said, it's convenient and it it's very very like
you can use you can use it to your advantage
and your business like in the futures, like promote it too,
so like but yeah, I feel you. It's definitely that
ye like and I'm so grateful that it happened, and
like I have so many people that care about me
and like what I'm doing. But it's like also it's
(27:57):
hard for them to understand, like like they see what
we post, you know, throughout the day, week, whatever, but
it's like they don't realize like we do have other
things going on. So it's like when we don't post
or like, um, like we're not as active. Like it's
not like we don't care and like we don't want
to post. It's like I just really don't have the
time as much as I used to because everyone's like oh,
Like if someone's like, oh, you change, your content is
(28:18):
not the same. It's like I have a completely different lifestyle.
It's like it's not that I wanted to completely change
like my content, Like I'm still the same person. It's
just like the way it's perceived on the internet is
different because I just I don't have the time or
the you know, whatever I used to do on the
internet is just it's just I don't know, times have changed, trends,
TikTok is completely different. It's like and like I enjoy
(28:41):
posting my spam account because like I have followers on there,
but I don't feel like everyone's watching me or like
nitpicking everything I do. It's like fun for me, So
I like literally just want to take wonder and post
it like I don't I don't have drafts. I just
post it and just like it's just fun for me.
And I feel like posting my mains sometimes it's very
like political, and I feel like I hate that it's
(29:01):
like that. But I feel like sometimes it's like people
just judge in the question everything I'm doing. It's like
where are you going, who are you hanging out with?
Why are you doing that? Like it's just like a lot, Yeah,
I feel you on that. Okay, Well we usually end
like with rapid fire questions, so we're gonna fire them
(29:22):
off to you, Okay, So Eagles or Chiefs Eagles Okay,
what is the way to Carson Ronnie's heart? M hm. Sneakers, Yes,
in facts like flowers of sneakers. I'm going sneakers all day. Flowers.
(29:43):
It's like a good gesture, but sneakers are long term. Okay.
First thing you do when you wake up, I put
my context in because I'm blind. Biggest relationship advice UM,
be honest and communicate no matter what exactly like it. Um.
(30:09):
First thing you notice when somebody walks into a room
their shoes. I hate that but about myself, but like
I'm with shoes first kind of person. I was gonna
say teeth second, and then oyes. Okay, okay, Style like yeah,
I think style. I'm more of like some meals can
like not put a fit together, you know what I mean.
(30:31):
Like it's it's it's painful to look at it. It's
like it's like you gotta do better now. But it's
like they have a great personality and you're like, oh
my gosh, like I can help you with your style. Good.
That's a really good Like it appoints me right, Like yeah,
like my boyfriend could not address for the life of him.
Now he's like working his way up, like step by step,
little by little. He's like, that's a good way to
(30:51):
look at it. Yeah, I can't. Okay, last one, biggest
pet peeve. I feel like a lot of people ask
me this question. I really don't know, Like, okay, honest,
when someone says, okay, let me call you back and
then they don't call you back, like just don't say
I'm gonna call you back, just be like okay, like
I gotta go, like I'll talk to you later. Like
(31:12):
that's one thing that really gets to me. I don't
know why you guys, make sure you call her back.
Her call the girl back. Always call me back, or
don't say you're going to call me back exactly. Okay, Well,
thank you so much for coming on again. Thank you
guys for having me. Makes you guys, be on the
lookout for her clothing line. She's doing big things. Um.
(31:33):
Thanks Carson again and we will see you guys next
time on twin Talk on I Heart Radio. Bye. This
(31:54):
has been a presentation of the College Athletes Network.
