Two Teas in a Pod which Teddy Mellencamp and camera Judge.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Two Teas and
a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencam, Tambra Judge. Hi, Teddy, Hi,
We're here to recap Salt Lake City Episode eleven and twelve.
Oh boy, these girls, man, they're not messing it around.
They've got it on Locke. They do. I mean, they
(00:33):
can fight like no other show. They can fight like
no other show, and they can be in the same room.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
I just don't like this division right now. I don't
really like any division when it comes to housewife shows
where you know, you have Meredith and Lisa on one
side and the rest on the other.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Who do you what side are you on?
Speaker 3 (00:54):
I Am going to say it, I'm leaning more towards
Lisa and Meredith. I just feel if this was so
bad and it went down on the plane, why didn't you.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Know nobody interfered?
Speaker 3 (01:08):
Production, didn't take video of it with their iPhones, cas
didn't do anything.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
There was no say I'm of the opposite.
Speaker 3 (01:18):
I just I just think there's it's being overly exaggerated
and it's like dragging out I don't want to talk
about this anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
When there's no footage of something, don't fucking talk. Don't
bring it to me. Yeah, we're done, we've moved on,
We've we're ready to keep it going right now. The
only thing holding us together is the costumes at this point,
if we have to watch one more show with the costumes.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Every single episode, these girls have costumes on I know.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
I mean this party, it was.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Pretty cool though it was coming up. It was good,
like a lot of thought was put into that.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
But before we get to the party, the girls are
at Mary's Sunday social at Vaulters. Mary called Brittany earlier
to let her know she was not invited because she
told Mary she was the least christ like person she
has ever met. I mean, only Mary.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Leave it to Mary to call someone to let them
know they're having an event and you're not invited.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
I mean even her dog was like no, no, and
she I asked my dog, and if you lifted a
pot then they were invited. And is so cute. The
dog is so cute and she's so funny. Mary really
cracks me up, she does, but she's a little intimidating.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
You think, yeah, a lot, like she's kind of scary,
like you don't know, she's like that aunt or uncle
you have that you don't know what's going to come
out of their mouth.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yes, so she's like Tamra Judge, Yeah, kind of no,
skined No.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
But her way is like it's so like harsh, but
there's no like. She doesn't yell, she doesn't scream. I'm
gonna try that. I'm gonna try it. I'm just gonna
very nicely with a smile. But she also doesn't say
a thing behind other girls herself. She just said, the
only thing that makes me believe that something did go
(03:13):
down on the plane is because I don't feel like
Mary would lie the other ones.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yes I do, Mary No, and Mary's dead said on
that that that happened. But do you think it's exaggerated?
Speaker 3 (03:26):
No, you think this went down yell and screaming, shaking
at the seat, pulling of the hair, spilling this wine.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I mean, I just yeah, I do. Any housewife would
have pulled a phone out.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, I know if it was happening to me, I
would pull a phone out.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
I know.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
But while they're at Sunday Social at Vultures, they started
discussing what happened on the plane. Meredith and Lisa claimed
that Meredith was just very upset, venting to Lisa. While
Whitney claims that Brittany was terrorized for five hours. Meredith
says that's not possible because she watched two movies and slept.
(04:06):
The girls ask what movies she watched. Meredith can only
name Crazy Rich Asian, and then Angie asks how it
ends and Meredith can't remember. She's like, are we really
doing this? Like, sirious, how can you not? How can
you believe her when she can't remember how it ends?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Well, first of all, when I watch a movie on
the plane or watch a movie anywhere, I tend to
go in and out of sleep.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
It puts me to sleep. So I don't know.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
I don't know, but five hours is a long time
to have a meltdown and nobody do anything.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
Well.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Lisa Barlow may not be a good listener, but the
fact that she can recall this movie.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
I was like, you know what, when Lisa says I
have global entry, I should have used it.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
What is that going to fix anything?
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Well?
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I didn't understan where that's because they were waiting for
five hours and they didn't wait with five hours for
what to get through customs. Bullshit, that's happened to me before.
Five hours? Yes, the long time in time. And if
you have Global Entry, well I need you wait no time?
You wait no time.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
But I also do know when I book my tickets,
I have to put my Global Entry number in my reservation.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Well you has to do that, look the.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Ticket, right, And I have because also you get TSA
pre check and all that with Global Entry, at least
I do. So I don't even realize it until I'm like, oh,
I don't have TSA pre check and that's everything to me.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
It really is. It's everything. I have none, but I don't.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
I mean, I have the card as well, and I've
never tried it. But if you just have it, can
you just get in the line and show them your card?
Does it have to be on your ticket?
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I think so. I think you can just show your card. Yeah,
oh no, you can't. Global Entry only needs your face.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
I'm Kristin Davis, host of the podcast Are You a Charlotte?
The most anticipated guest from season three is here the
Tray to My Charlotte. Kyle McGlaughlin joins me to relive
all of the magical tray in Charlotte moments. He reveals
what he thinks of Trey giving Charlotte a cardboard baby.
Speaker 6 (06:22):
Why would I bring her a cardboard baby? I was
literally I was like, this doesn't track for me at all.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
When he found out Trey's shortcomings, I'm.
Speaker 6 (06:30):
Kind of excited to talking about. You know, I think
he's he's a guy spends time in Central Park. You know,
he's probably don't need to be some surgery stuff, you know.
And I was like all this kind of stuff going on,
and they were like yeah, yeah, yeah, fine, and they said,
but he's impotent, and I was like, he's.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
Impotent, and why he chose not to return to it?
Speaker 6 (06:46):
Just like that, they came and presented an idea and
I was like, I get I see it.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
It's so kind of a one joke idea. You don't
want to miss this.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
Listen to are you a Charlotte on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Well, I feel like the girls are dragging and exaggerating
the situation.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
I'm getting bored of. It wasn't how they're sleeping. Didn't
she say she was sleeping? And now all of a sudden.
She's a ringleader in this. She's really really worked up
over it. But then Meredith tells Whitney she knows what
she's been saying behind her back, and bron One then
explains that at that lunch, Whitney told her she had
seen Meredith drinking in the lounge and on the plane.
(07:35):
They think Meredith doesn't remember what she was saying. Do
you think bron was wrong for telling Meredith what Whitney said? No,
I don't.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
That's what we're paid for to do on this show. Yeah, sorry,
but that's the cold hard facts. We are paid to
be real, to make storyline, share a storyline, do all
those things. So if it was pertaining to the show, yes,
that's what you do.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, that's what you do. She wasn't super dramatic about it.
She just said she maybe doesn't remember, and why are
they all beating her on the bush. Probably what happened
was she had a couple of drinks and then she
probably took an ambient.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Yeah, which is not a good combination or exanax with
a couple of drinks.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Trust me, I know.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
I mean, the girls want to hold Lisa accountable for
repeating stuff, but They never hold braun Win accountable. Bronwyn
just repeats whatever and nobody has a problem with it.
I don't know if it's her delivery or what, but
I mean, Bronwyn is a repeat offender, that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
But again, that's what the show is about. Yeah, I know,
I know. But throughout this entire kind of brunch, it's
the same conversation over and over again. The fact that
Meredith hasn't gotten up and left is a complete shock.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
I know, I'm like, any minute she's out of here, Like,
how is she sweaty to her? I know, I know,
I'm like waiting for her to be like I'm I'm disengaging.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
And getting up and leaving. Like the fact that she's
sat there through all of this means that I think
she's done something wrong.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Of course, do I think something happened, yes, yes, But
like I said, I just I think it's being exaggerated.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
And drawn out and I'm over it. Stop talking about.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
It, please, Okay, they're not going to They're not. It's
going to be all season long, all season long.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Somebody pull out a video. Please do you want footage?
We need it? This is like The Black Eye all
over again. My gosh, I almost forgot about the black
guy and you're welcome, thanks a lot. Maybe it'll be
brought up at the reunion.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
That's the only saving grace I could see, Like bring
the footage.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Oh, you think they're going to show it at the reunion.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Maybe they like to show secret stuff at the reunion nowadays.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Just saying then Meredith and Lisa meet to get their
nails done. Meredith in the boot getting the petticure is
very confusing to me. And what happened to her foot? Again,
she kicked something she's I don't know. Did she spread
her toe? I don't know. I don't know. Is it
spranged or sprang? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
But I was watching a comedian on the show on Netflix.
Who was it, Oh, Kevin Hart, And he was talking
about like when you're younger, you can like jam your
foot into something and you just like start jumping up
and down and you bounce it out.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
But over forty you stub your toe. You're in a boot.
You're in a boot for six weeks. It's like true,
it's so true.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
It's like you break a foot in your twenties, you
just like, you know, you rub it out, that's.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
What you do. You rub it out.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Done. But Lisa tells Meredith that she met with Brittany recently,
and we see a flashback from two days prior of
Brittany and Lisa. Lisa claims she had no part in
what happened. These two just see Brittany as less than
So it's never going to get better, Okay, Britney.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I mean, especially after meeting her and her lovely daughter
at Bravo Con. I'm really warming up to her. I
really are, Yes, I am, I am. I think she's
doing a good job.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
I think she's doing a good job, but I also
think we're not getting the full Everybody else is talking
about exactly what happened on that plane except for Brittany.
Oh you think so? Yeah, I don't think she's really
gone in like she's playing. She's playing victim. Oh is
that why? Yes? So she's just gonna be sitting there
(11:56):
with teary eyes and letting everybody talk for her. I'm
just kidding.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
I don't know, I know, But Lisa's like, I can
only help you out so much and I'm not going
to go down with you. Sorry, Meredith, Sorry Lisa. Lisa
is so funny.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
It's like at the very.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Beginning, she's like telling her husband, oh yeah, like Meredith
went crazy.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
And then when she gets in the group, she's like, no,
she didn't. No, I was fine. She was fine. God,
but this has made all the other drama go away.
We're not my god. Anything else.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
Did you see that Angie got to Rby's commercial?
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Holy shit? Somebody check on Lisa.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Someone And it was really cute.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
It was cute and they did like the play on words. Well,
you know what's going to happen next?
Speaker 3 (12:54):
Mary's going to get a McDonald's commercial because she talks
about Ollie for donald right now, so I expect.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Come on McDonald's, come on Mickey D's. Yep, we'll have next.
Is there going to be a Taco bell I'll do
that one, please? Someone? Do you like taco BeO?
Speaker 3 (13:12):
I love taco be Oh my god? Means Sophia had
this conversation the other day. I never ever could ever,
but Bean and cheesebreed on no onion snow tomatoes.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Dell Taco.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Is a whole another Do you remember Noggles No, it
was like a I think it was a sister company
of Del Taco.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
So good, so good. Jack and the Box tacos are
the best. God, no, it's not even meeting there. I
don't think.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
I'm not getting a Jack in the Box commercial, that's
for sure.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
I'll do it in and out, yeah, I know, Well
won't we all do in and out? I mean in
and out is the best? Yeah? Nothing except for the fries.
I get them well done. That's the trick.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
You have to get the full the French fries well
done so they're crispy on the outside.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
That's smart. I know. I hat that. Now I'm hungry too.
Then Heather and Whitney have a funeral for Heather's old mattress.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Okay, I could have done without this same, I could
have not. Well, why in the hell was Heather wearing
that outfit?
Speaker 2 (14:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Why were they both wearing skin tight outfits and heels?
And I'm like, who rents a U hauled? You know
people will come pick that shit up? And who the
hell has a mattress for twenty plus years.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Because they're having a funeral for it because it's had
its time. Okay, enough of the costumes. This is stupid
at this point. I know, I know. This was just no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
And then she's on her now she needs new box
springs because she's poking holes with her heels.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Because, by the.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Way, I have to say, I have that outfit Heather
was wearing.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
You do well, do you have a yellow stained mattress?
Because I didn't need to see it.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Well, She's like, they're not sex stands. I'm like, no,
you clearly pissed your bed.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
It's spray tans.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
It's yelling shit like I don't know what it is,
but I don't want to see it and I don't
Also have.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
Been looking her mattress like why is it on?
Speaker 3 (15:14):
Isn't her mattress that she was sleeping on for twenty
plus years and her husband play bed bugs in there?
Speaker 7 (15:22):
Eh?
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Tam ick ikey ikey iky like that at all. But
I mean, it is the first time we've seen that happen.
But it's like it's it's like a whole like stage thing.
Let me ride the U haul.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
These are the scenes like, no, no.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
I'm going to drive a U haul for the first
time for one mattress.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Put it out your fucking curb. The trash man will
pick it up. I worked for waste management. There's bulkie
item pickups twice a year. Get on it.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
I worked for waste I did I know I won't.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
I worked for Athens Disposal too. Damn I have a
hot one today. I woke up with a stiff neck
and it pissed me off. You know, I could use
a massage me too. Then Brittany and her daughter Olivia
go to therapy. Olivia explains that when Brittany married her
(16:21):
second husband, she became more of a mom to her
step children than her own.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Did you feel like Britney seemed a little disconnected and
not present at the therapy session.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
I don't know if she was trying not to cry
or she was just shocked that her daughter was opening
up so much.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
I mean, her daughter was being so open and honest,
Like you know, obviously it hits me hard watching these
scenes like this, and she was really strong to do that.
And I don't know if Brittany was just kind of like, shit,
I'm gonna look like a bad mom.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
She might have been overthinking it. But she also like
they were so far part on the couch, she never
like reached for her, she never like went to comfort her.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Yeah, it was I mean, I'm happy to see they
seem to be in a better place. We met Olivia
Roba Khan when we interviewed her mom, and she was lovely.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Yeah, she was so sweet, such a sweet girl. Then
after this, but also I want to know, does Brittany
still keep in contact with her stepchildren.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
We should have asked her that on the podcast. I know,
because if they took over this, you know, this big spot,
she still have a relationship with them.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
Do you think this Brittany being so male centered stems
from growing up Mormon or her desire to have a
husband overshadows everything.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
I think that she has some deep down like insecurities
and having a man helps fill that void, she thinks.
When really it ends up hurting the people around sometimes
because she'll do anything for them. It just, I mean,
it upsets.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Me and makes me happy at the same time, because
you know, I've been in the situation, but I didn't
turn my back on my child or choose somebody over
my you know what I mean. So it's like I
want to shake her and be like what do you why?
Speaker 2 (18:19):
Why? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (18:20):
Why?
Speaker 2 (18:21):
But at the end of the day, we're glad that
they're on the right path. But she didn't say much.
She she didn't say much. I was more her daughter
talking yeah, or if she did, there was cut out. Yep.
Then Meredith and Brittany meet. Meredith asks her to meet
at the park. I hate when they meet at the park.
You're not good enough. You're not good enough, and who
(18:43):
meets at the park anyways. It's like, pretty, you want
to go meet at the park. No, I don't want
to meet at a park.
Speaker 7 (18:50):
No.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
And and it's like.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
It's saying, you know what, we're so tired of filming
in coffee and restaurants. Can you guys do something different? Well,
she ain't coming to my house and she ain't coming
to mine.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
So it's the park. It's the park, and we're gonna
come decked out to the park where we're freezing.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
I mean, what we did find out is Meredith is
never ever going to admit to having an outburst on
the plane.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
No.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Meredith apologizes for Brittany hearing her. What kind of apology
is that?
Speaker 3 (19:24):
When I started watching this, I'm like, no, no, this.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Is just a bullshit apology.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
And then it got to a better place, and I
do like that Brittany took a responsibility for bringing up
the TikTok, because sometimes it gets all lost in the
sauce where Brittany started this.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Yeah, she did start it, But I have a question.
This felt like producers are making me apologize for Meredith.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
Yes, they're probably like Mareith looks like an asshole, so
just let you know you looking like an asshole, so
figure out something.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
But you are right, it's like we had, like, all
of a sudden, we forgot what Brittany did that started
all of this.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
Yeah, because you know why everybody on the cast is
harping on what happened on the plane, And this is
how the cast can change.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
The viewer's minds.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
So if everybody was harping on Brittany and saying you
deserved it, you brought up this TikTok about her marriage,
then everybody would be thinking differently.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Yeah. I mean, but I think we have to also say, like,
this was a TikTok online, It's not like something she
saw herself that she brought into it. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
I know, how long do you think that this reconciliation
is going to last?
Speaker 2 (20:38):
I don't even think it lasted throughout this conversation.
Speaker 3 (20:41):
I don't think it lasted the next episode.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Which leads us to episode twelve. Episode twelve, Bronwin picks
up Todd from the airport in a blow up costume.
Another costume, fuck more life? When is this going to stop?
I mean, granted, you know I love a good sloth,
but I wouldn't even know what it was. She's like,
do you know what I am?
Speaker 3 (21:02):
But I will tell you there was a brand new
Todd in that car.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
He was happy, he.
Speaker 3 (21:09):
Apologizing, asking her how her week was.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
More of this Todd? Please? Yeah, this Todd is a
good Todd.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
I mean it doesn't make it doesn't make completely better,
but it I mean it was a good episode for
bron when Todd and her mom were nice.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
Yeah, they were both nice to her. You can see,
like and the daughter. I thought all of the bron
When stuff in this episode felt very authentic. But yeah
it did.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
But Bronwin's saying, Todd, I know you told me not
to get involved with the airplane drama. What Yeah, come on,
I could imagine going to Eddie. Eddie, I know you
didn't want me to get involved with the homophobic post,
but I did.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Well, I don't know what else they're going to talk about,
so they had to figure something out. But at this point,
do you think that Bronwin just wears the costumes to
annoy Todd.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
I mean, Bronwin is a very colorful person. Her house
is very colorful, her outfits are, She's she kind of
reminds me a little bit of Doctor Dub Bronwin's mom
on Orange County. Yeah, yeah, where she's just very like
loves that stuff.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
She loves color in her life. I wish I was
like that. I know, as we're both in beige almost
and browne and my house is completely white. Everything's white and.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
Yeah, and I didn't buy this. Yeah, but I'm ready
to make a change. I'm ready to maybe move Tam. Yeah, well,
I think Sophia is going to move out in January
so to go to school.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
So I don't know, I think it might be time.
I just don't know. I want to go. Do you
want me to be your roommate? Yeah? Sure? Where do
you want to go? Where should we live? I'll buy
a we'll have a compound compound that's not gonna say, yeah,
a Manson compound. Yeah, bunch of houses.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
That was my dream for a while to get like,
you know, five acres and have multiple houses for my kids,
and now I'm like, no, fut away.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
Figure it out. Go away. Then Whitney is upset with
Justin because he told her to merge with an MLM
while she wanted to get into Sephora. Now, with the
business failing, she resents him.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
This confuses me, Yes, how do you merge with an MLM?
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Did they start up a new MLM? I think they
had their business already and they wanted to make more money.
And the way that that Whitney wanted to make more
money was by getting into the bigger stores. Right, I
understand that.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
And by the way, just because you get into the
bigger stores doesn't mean you're gonna make a ton of money.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
No, it means if it sits on that.
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Shelf, you know what, you might have to eventually buy
all that product back.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, So it's it's not a for sure thing. And
when we apparently neither is an MLM, right.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
I mean when you go to Sephora, I mean I'm
usually looking on all the name brands that I normally get, yeah,
when I go there. So when you have a newer brand,
it's hard to kick off, especially skincare all those because
there's the market is so overly saturated. We had a
(24:41):
skincare line with Vina for a while and I was
like kind of against it, and my partners wanted to
do it, so I'm like okay, And we had it
in Sally Beauty and it didn't go anywhere. It's hard
to move product that people are not familiar with.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
So that's what I don't don't really understand. Did they
did an MLM company buy a portion? I don't know.
I don't know. I mean, you know, she said she
wanted her name back.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Well, she probably partnered with somebody that has MLM experience,
which is a very hard business model, very hard. And
maybe he got part ownership of her company when they
did that. I would imagine he maybe got fifty percent
of it. And so now she wants it back.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
But why is she mad at her husband for paying
the bills?
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Well, she never said she got into Sephora. She just
said she met the guy at Sephora. I know, So
it wasn't like it was a stretch.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
I felt like, you know, and but she was like,
you know, it really hit hard when I saw that big,
you know, piece of money go out of our place,
and you know it's you had to pay those bills
and he's like, well, I like to, you know, keep
my word and pay your bill and pay. That's how
it works, that's how that's that's big girl. Yeah, you
pay your bills.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
You owe somebody money, you'll pay them back. It's really
that easy.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
I was like, I'm confused, what we're mad about here? Yeah,
I don't know that it was from what she said.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
It wasn't like he started this MLM and sephor that
now she can't get into Sephora and they want her.
It was just like after we did the MLM, I
met a guy from Sephora.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Yeah, it's not that easy. And even if she did
start the MLM, can you not get into Sephora if
you have an MLM. I don't know. I guess it
depends on their business model, but I.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Know, like I uh, I actually joined an MLM years
ago Advocare when we had our gym, because we would
sell their products at our gym. Now, people were making
millions off of it. I still get residual income from it,
but they changed their business model and people that were
making millions it's no longer making millions now.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
It's not like it does.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
It's not run like an MLM anymore. It's just like MLMs.
You recruit people, you make percentage. They recruit people, you
make percentage. Remember a Yeah, and people think like they're illegal.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
They're not illegal. Not illegal.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
There's certain ways that you can do it that would
make it right exactly.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
So I mean, and now really going on with their relationship?
I don't know. I'm confused with that relationship. Honestly, me too.
I'm also always confused when one person has a glass
of red wine and one person has a glass of white.
(27:40):
Did you open two bottles? What were you thinking?
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Unless you drink a lot of wine, Like we open
a bottle of red wine, one glass was drank, it
will sit there for two months and then you got
to throw it away. You just don't drink wine at
home hardly ever. Like I opened a bottle of red
on Thanksgiving and I had a glass, Sarah had a
glass and the bottles sitting and I'm gonna have to
(28:06):
throw it out.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Yeah. Could you imagine just being like, oh, well it's
been one red, one white. No, I'm like, you drink
whatever one's open. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
I kind of felt like a little acting was going
on in that scene me too.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Yeah, it's something didn't feel right. That's a little stage,
like the way she sat down. Yeah, something didn't feel
one hundred percent right there. I was trying to figure
out what it was. And that's why I'm like, I
can't really get what's going on in their relationship. I
can't tell if it has to fully do with this
business or it's something else. Yeah, but Noah didn't feel stage.
(28:41):
When bron Win's mom, Muzzy tells her how proud she
has brought this made me so happy. I know, the
entire scene with bron When and her mom, I liked it.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
I did too, and it made me think, like, Okay,
the first thing we saw with her were like, ah, yikes.
I think she's just somebody that's just super honest.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
And I think she's also very sweet.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
Yeah, and you can see bron Win's pretty sarcastic. Yeah,
her daughter's a little bit sarcastic. So it just sarcasm
runs in the family. I can relate to that.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Who hates the gays.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Well, Bronwin did, like Bromin was putting together things for
the gay Pride flags and she was going to give
them to all non governmental government buildings, storefronts, and things
like that, and she said to her mom, like, I know,
politically you have a different stance on things. Oh right,
(29:41):
I mean nowhere in that did she say like you
hate gay people, but politically, like if you like somebody
else and their beliefs are you know, as they are.
Speaker 7 (30:00):
Hey, it's Wilfred Ell and Sabrina Bryan from the podcast
Magical Rewind and we have a very special guest on
this week's episode. He's the mastermind behind some of your
favorite movies like Hocus Pocus, Newsy's, The Descendants, and of
course High School Musical. Yes, it is the one and
only a living legend director Kenny or Tega.
Speaker 8 (30:19):
We sit down with Kenny to talk about his incredible
career and the legacy he's created with his choreography and films.
Speaker 7 (30:24):
You seriously will not want to miss this one.
Speaker 8 (30:27):
Listen to Magical Rewind on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
Hi, it's Jenny Garth, host of the I Choose Me podcast.
This week, I'm so excited to welcome my friend. Gabrielle
carteris the Andrea Zuckerman from Beverly Hills nine o two
on Zho to the pod.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
We're choosing to get real. I applied to the networks
about my age and contracts. They never would have hired
me if they had known my age. We're choosing to
be honest. She looked at me and she said, this
business is about than mask, which you have neither of,
and we're choosing to get nostal.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Listen to I Choose Me on the iHeartRadio app, Apple
podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
Then at Bronwin's Boston spilled the tea party, Whitney and
Meredith get into an argument about what happened on the plane. No, really,
here we go again. I didn't even know that Bronwin
wasn't a citizen until I did, neither. Where's she from?
I forgot already? Canada was Canada? I think Canada? Okay,
(31:34):
so she once to become a citizen. Good for her.
Do you think that there reunions that's going to be
the Boston tea party or do you think it's going
to be Greece. Let's grace, That's what I was thinking.
Let's grace, Let's of grace. When Meredith calls Whitney a liar,
(31:57):
you're a known liar, and then Whitney her an alcoholic
and a pill popper. That doesn't go well. I tried,
it didn't work. I don't think this is what the
Founding Fathers had in mind for our freedom. But I
think they enjoy it.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
Yeah, even if they are an alcoholic or pill popper.
I've learned on National TV you can't say that.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
Nope, even if it's true. Even if it's true. Yeah,
then Meredith goes and grabs the gifts she got for everyone. Okay,
so they essentially we're kind of skipping over stuff because
it's the same thing over and over again. They're fighting
repeatedly over what happened on this plane, except they're doing
it and wigs this time.
Speaker 3 (32:38):
Okay, Yes, one thing that Mereth said, I went, oh,
she's all I have a drink here and there, an
occasional gummy.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
Maybe police sometimes.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Okay, I'm not going to say it, but yeah, we've
heard that on my show too.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Yeah, but I think that bringing what were your thoughts
on her? Even bringing the drug tests another prop? I
wouldn't have cared like I would have. I was writing
for them all to pop a squad, and.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
Well, are they gonna take it. That's what I want
to know. Do you think they're in the next episode
and they're not gonna take it? If you're gonna bring it,
make them take it. I want to see who was
gonna squirm right now? Mine's gonna there's gonna be th
HC in my p There is, yeah, I mean it
(33:43):
comes out. I mean it's only for like, is there
one for alcohol too?
Speaker 2 (33:47):
Well, I don't know. That's here's the thing. If if
Meredith really wanted to prove a point, she would have
gotten up peede and taken that test. Fruity pebbles, pee
in my mouth? Boo, that is so gross.
Speaker 3 (34:07):
Well, I mean, and then some would argue, oh, well,
you didn't take anything, or you knew you were going
to do this, so you you know, of course, if
I know that, I'm going to bring drug tests for
everybody to take, you bet your sweet ass. I ain't
going to be doing some THHC for a couple of days.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
No, you're going to be ready.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
But hey, I got to support my cause, my business.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
But I don't think anybody's going to take that test.
I don't think not one of them. If you drink
the pea, well that mean you'll get stoned. The tests
are expensive, Yeah they are. Yeah. I bought one for
a kid one time, and I think so to buy
all those no one uses them. I mean, could you
(34:48):
imagine Mary being like, hold on, let me take a year,
and could you imagine Mary not passing it? Oh? She
never never. Well, then Bronwin wants all the girls to
come up with friendship agreements they would like to change
in the group. Bronwin hear ye, hear ye. Families are
(35:12):
off limits.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
And then Heather hear ye, hear ye. Be a woman
of your word. By the way, I watched this episode
right before I went to bed. I laid in bed
going hear ye, hear ye, for like a good hour.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Lisa, hear ye, hear ye. To be the friend that
you expect others to be. Mary.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
We all, we all not only hear each other, but
we also forgive. Did she not do the hear year
hear ye.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
No didn't. She couldn't. She couldn't be bothered with it.
She could. It's too many words, Whitney, here ye, hear ye.
There are topics that are off limits. It's businesses, marriages,
and children. Angie hear ye, hear ye.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
In this group, we need to be very careful about
saying things about people without documentation. So basically she's saying,
dig up the documentation and then you can talk.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
Yeah, if not, don't waste our time. Yeah, Brittany, here
ye here ye shall we always see the best in people.
Speaker 3 (36:13):
And then Meredith, there's a lot of cast on this show.
Why know, I just now realize that.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
Hear ye, hear ye? Stop the reactive abuse. What does
reactive abuse mean? Whitney googles what reactive abuse is. Reactive
abuse happens when a victim of abuse reacts to that
abuse in a way, which could include physical violence or
shouting of their own. She says, thank you, Meredith for
(36:39):
giving me the definition of your own behavior. Can we
also talk about what the hell they were doing with
those boxes?
Speaker 8 (36:46):
While we're.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
The boxes? I didn't get that. Was it just the name?
The person's name? And then they said, why yeah, a
lot put into that set. That was an expensive party
to have.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
I just wish there was water in that river or
that lake or that canal or whatever they called it.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
So that when they threw the boxes and something would
happen splashed in their face.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Oh god, they knew they had to be careful about
having anything where were they they were in like it
opened up like this like a roller door, right, it
was like a commercial building.
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Yeah, and I thought that, you know, production put that
set together. No, I think I guarantee that was some
sort of bronlin thing.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
It was, But that was a set director doing that.
There's no way, well that was for an event planner
or someone something. Yeah, that was crazy because that was
I mean, but I guess if you've got Brondin money,
you can do those kind of things. Meanwhile, I couldn't
even look at Heather in her George Washington outfit. I
(37:55):
couldn't take her serious.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
Well, everybody's hairs like poking out, everyone from the wigs,
the Meredith, I mean, who was No. Mary walked in late.
She's like, hell no, I ain't putting that on. Oh nope,
and then she ends up putting it on. But then
she did put on over it.
Speaker 8 (38:09):
She did.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
She did it. She's a team player. She did it.
But I do like watching Salt Lake. It's entertaining, that's
for sure. What do you think we're going to get
coming up? Because we can't just keep riding on the
coattails of this issue. We need something else.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
Something's got to happen. Someone's gonna have to sleep with
someone's husband or something.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
Yeah, we're going to need some major shit to hit
the fan. I didn't know Lisa was a New Yorker.
You didn't know. I did not know that. I thought
Meredith was a New Yorker. And then we found out
that Heather Gay lived in Huntington Beach. I know that
(38:53):
Mattress lived in Huntington Beach too. I know Mattress has
been around It's lived everywhere that Mattress has been around town.
I wonder how many times that Mattress has had sex.
I don't want to know. I want to know why
her pool is empty and grain. Can I ask you
(39:13):
a question? Yeah, is it weird so in my house
right now? Because remember Edwin's living in a different place.
So in my house right now, I haven't taken like
any of the family photos or anything down, Like even
the photo of like me and Edwin above the bed,
I still have it. There is that weird? No, I
(39:38):
don't think so.
Speaker 3 (39:39):
I think that's your family house, and I think it's
probably good for your kids. I mean, I definitely think
there's going to come a day where your guys are
going to sell that house?
Speaker 2 (39:47):
Has he talked about it at all? Well? Right now,
we're on another six month like because you know, when
you file for divorce, it's supposed to happen within a
certain amount of time. And on our second time of
doing a six month delay because I'm just not do
you want this divorce? I can't do anything right now,
(40:08):
Yes you can. I can't. I'm not strong enough right now?
What do you need to do? You don't need to
do anything. Your attorney does everything.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
And I'll talk to you about this off camera, okay,
because I have a suspicion.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Oh okay, all right, we will talk. But thanks guys
for tuning in to another episode of Two Teas in
a Pod. We will be back tomorrow to talk about
all things Southern charm, my favorite.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Yes, I'm excited. We got two episodes because we were
off last week. So yeah, I get to watch that tonight.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
Okay, bye bye,
