I think that series very smart, and I mean, the
only thing that can save Shelby is is one of

the game is that they can be whoever they want

I think that's what's going to be interesting about this
new season where they're going to have a civilian season
and a celebrity season, because you can go in there

really come up again and I was shocked.

Between Kate and Rachel, I liked it all around, and
I like how they spoke. Rachel did try, She really tried,
but I think in her heart of heart, she felt
like she was losing. I honestly don't know how it
got turned around on her that badly though.

Well, she seemed like she was totally blindsided.

But you think as a game, yeah, but you think
as a gam where she wouldn't take it so personal.

Because now seventh episode, again, you're there a few weeks,

Yeah, you're close to the end too, so you're thinking,
now your mind's on the money, and you.

she really was playing hard.

voting for her, She's upset that Christian votes for her.
She's broken hearted the series voting for us. So I

I also understand where she's coming from. Even if Kate

isn't a trader, I would be voting for her because
I mean, even though she did help in this last mission,
she's not a very helpful person in the missions to
get the money. So even if I'm wrong, I'm thinking, well,
I didn't lose so much because she's not helping us
get a bunch of money.

Yeah, but she's amazing television, so I want her to
stay on. And obviously the producers think that too, because
they keep paying her back.

You know, she comes back.

She came back as a player, then she came back
as a visitor to one of the missions, like she
would take a special surprise with poverty. But here's the
thing she's saying to herself, why am I playing my
bust in my ass for money that I'm not going
to leave here with because I don't plan on winning.
I'm not playing to win. I'm playing right now to

get thrown out of here. And the other thing is
that the end of the day, it's not the team
that wins the money, it's whoever's standing and around that
fire pit. So there's a lack of incentive there. I
think too.

You know, do you think like the longer you last
and you get to the end like that, like it
is about the money at that point. I think at
the very beginning, like I did, I never thought I
was going to win, but I was just trying to
stay alive as long as I could. But then when
you're towards the end, you're like, okay, now it's about
the money buried towards the end, we're not too far off.

Pretty everybody's at the point now where they could kind

Well I think they knew, and if they didn't vote
for him, then it would probably put a target on them,

Probably ten or eleven, but it took up to episode
eight for anybody, just one person suspected Suri's a trader.

Speaking of Siri, you know, she and Christian are up
in the tour. They're talking about how Cody became a liability,
which is interesting that Christian is saying that Cody's a
liability because I watch him.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
He's a booking liability, the biggest liability in the Wow. Yeah,
they want to keep Kate because she's a shield. So
it's between Rachel and Angelica. Everyone gathers at breakfast the
next day when Kate walks through the door.

Everyone is shocked. They think that she's definitely a trader.

Well, what are your thoughts since Sary warning her that

Yeah, I think she has plausible deniability, right. If people
end up voting her out, then she can say, well,
I've warned you, and she knows she's not a trader, right.
I think that series very smart, and I mean, the
only thing that can save Shelby is is one of
these shields. Alan comes in screaming, bloody murder that ghosts

have infiltrated the castle, which I always felt like there
were ghosts in that castle. I feel like that, but
just haaunted as hell. I don't know if you guys
felt that.

She was just so quiet to herself, But she knew

the game is that they can be whoever they want

I think that's what's going to be interesting about this
new season where they're going to have a civilian season
and a celebrity season, because you can go in there
and be calculated and manipulative before it even starts, and
no one knows the wiser that's true.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
I just figured it's somebody that was already lying from
the get go.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
They would have just played the game better.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Yeah, but I said, you never know what happened, what's
going on behind closed doors at home when you call
home and you know, like I said, something's not right
at home. I think it'll let you.

At this point in the game, you start to get homesick.
Like I was homesick, and I wasn't even there past
what episode four or five, I can't remember now they're
on seven and eight, and it's it wears on you.

Yeah, I wasn't homesick, So she had no feelings.

Nothing I want to I'm just you know, all right,
the traders gather up in the turret, and finally, I
think what we've all been thinking was going to happen
happens that Allen comes in and says, hey, it's time
to invite someone in.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
I knew that was going to happen.

Yeah, I mean it's an inevitability, right, And like you know,
it's the first season, so all the faithfuls may not
know that this is going to happen, but you know
one season two, in season three comes out. Once you
get a trader out, you have to assume that someone's
going to get recruited. What do you guys think about
who they ultimately choose as their recruitment In Nauri, I

think it was the best choice.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Why, you know, after the way he spoke to Kate.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
I think he called her a cancer. M You know,
he has no real feelings towards anybody. He has no
real close friends that I see. He seemed like he
could he could be a little edgy. I felt like,
you know, I just think that you know, you, what
are the choices?
Speaker 4 (17:28):
Like, Well, if they already suspected Kate was a trader,
why not, so Kate would not be a good choice.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
No, because she's a shield.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
They're waiting for somebody to banish her. She has kept
the attention off of so many other people, including the traders,
because most of the people are torn.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
About voting for her.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
I don't even know how she lasted this long. She
isn't going anywhere. That is her ticket for not getting murdered.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Yeah, but she can still be a shield for the
trade by being a trader, because those two guys can
be like, hey, listen, no matter what happens, if they
vote for Kate and she's faithful, then we've lost our shield.
But if they vote for Kate and she's a trader,
all seemed like we won this thing. But we're the
one who brought her in to me. Yes, there's a

world in which it makes sense.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
I think so too.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
It makes sense if you had a person that wanted
to play the game, you need to be passionate about
the game to be a trader. Because it's three extra
hours in the tour to two and a half three
after a twelve hour day. Kate's already spent. Kate, yeah,
home you.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
Kate probably would have said no, you would have said, yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Kate doesn't want to play bad enough to be a trader.
You know, she wanted to play bad enough. She came
back for another season.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Oh, there's very good incentive to come back.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Her accountant wanted her to go back. Yeah. I think
that this is one of the most interesting breakfasts that
we have thus far. Ari accepts the invitation obviously, and
then the next rightist no one gets murdered, which should
be obvious, Like then someone's recruited because no one. Yeah,

but then Ari says that, well I had the shield,
so then they're like, well, they could have tried to
kill him, but they didn't. And then Christian starts doing
Christian stuff.
Speaker 4 (19:23):
Oh my god, somebody shut him up.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Well, Christoph that's so funny. He's so dumb that it's
actually working out for Siri.
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Yeah, yeah, I mean he just kind of says way
too much and he needs to stop. Tony Gain, Yeah,
I'm surprised, Like you said, I'm shocked he's made it
this far.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
He's keeping the attention off of her, Like she's so
worried about.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Him putting the attention on her. But what was going
through his head when he said that? I know it
makes him When you see James.

That you don't off to do, that's when you start

Well, it's funny like Ari Ari's like I just got
invited into this club and I feel like this is
kind of stupid that he's doing this. But he's really
confused series, like he's a terrible actor. This crid suory
and also the groups is confused, like why would you
even even if that happened? Why would you tell anybody?

But he does bring some entertainment for sure.

Well the overreaction that he gives at the round tables
and at the breakfast are you watching this, like are
you watching the way he acts? Or how about when
they were like first in the tourret I wanted him
to get murdered in the tourret that night because he

was such a cornball with.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
His reaction that I wanted to set him on.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
Fire in the tourret. But I mean, it's working out
for him, it's working out. He's like so over the
top that he's under the radar till now.

Yeah, he's consistently annoying, right, makes it seem like that's
just his default setting. And so no one sees anything.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
Much like Kate, and you couldn't be nobody that dumb
could be a trader, is what I feel like.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
They're saying, we.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Go on a mission that I would just like to
say that if this mission had come across my desk
in that castle, I would have said, Alan, thank you
so much for the money, but I will be not participating.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
You don't like bugs, rat, you don't like broke down.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
I don't mind rats. But the bugs like rats? Oh god?
Speaker 2 (21:54):
What kind of bugs were they? Roaches? Nuggets? Roaches?
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Oh god? Were going in like people?
Speaker 2 (22:01):
It can coaches bite by the way they do as
they do they do. They have little pintures when they
had to stick their head in there.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
Scorpions, No, if you get bit by scorpion, you die
right away.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
Well, they're not going to put you in any kind
of danger, so you have to go in thinking that.
But it's just the max bite.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
All those bugs bite. When they did the bug challenge
with us, Danielle had blood running down her.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
Face, ew on her face, getting a.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Bit now the blood worm smelled like shit.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Ah oh, I stand by what I said. I would
have said, thank you very much. I'm going to excuse
myself from this challenge.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
That would have been a tough one for me.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
Yeah, it took my breath away. I could not believe it.
I've seen bug challenges since then. That had to be
the worst. Because to be in a confined room and
not have open space around you is bad enough for me,
but then to be confined and not be able to
run if you want to and have to figure out
a cold. So this was hard. Listen, fair play to them.
(23:03):
This was amazing for a first season. Again, I'm gonna
keep saying it. Can't believe how hope they got.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
I don't like mice and let alone a rat like
I had a mice in my mount mouse once and
literally I have four thousand square feet to run to it.
I was running like a little bitch screaming really little
teeny tiny field mouse. Yeah, I don't want rats, rats,
big rats. They didn't give a shit. They just looked
at everybody. They didn't even run the pink.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
Eyes, white all bad stuff. But listen, they got out.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Yeah they did it.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
And I mean Kate held her own in there.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
That's the first time I saw Kate with any kind
of real emotion.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Well, she had no choice. It had to evoke emotion.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
She was being dumped, she had no choice to get
out of there, and Siri was not hanging in there.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
She actually saved series ass there.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
I'm surprised that Kate didn't just leave the little shack.

That's what I was going to say.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
I'm surprised that she's like, Nope, we're not doing this.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
Yeah, and Andy has a panic attack. This is the
second time Andy's had a panic attack. I love it.
It's freaking out. I don't blame him, to be honest
with you, but yeah, So anyways, congratulations, I like all
the props in the world to Rachel, Andy, Ari, Stephanie, Quinton, Kate,
Siri and Christian for doing this. Like, yeah, you're better
people than than than.
Speaker 2 (24:27):

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Again, I will say that was the artist bug challenge. Yeah,
and don't forget this group. This first season they were
also buried alive.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
No, I'd rather do bugs and be buried alive.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Oh, I'll be very alive all day.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
No, wow, how can you do that day? See that? Well,
that's where I stand up and say it was nice.
Now when you I'm going back home.

That's when she gets emotions and feelings.

Yeah. Back of the castle, they all split up and talk.
He tells Christian that Rachel and Stephanie are on to him.
I feel like Ari is a good trader where I
think he's like looking out for his fellow traders, whereas
I don't know if the other traders feel the same
way about each other, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
No, No, I'm sure if Surih could have Christian gone
a long time ago, she would have signed up for that.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (25:23):
Yeah, but I mean, honestly, what's good for him is
he listens to her. He's so goofies get keeping attention
off of her.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Yeah, it's not such a bad gig for her to
have him around.

You know, he does and says stupid things, and this
this episode she gets like, no, the last episode, she
gets like really upset with what he said, like, oh,
I thought recruited laws not an answer.

No, So are you basically saying like every village needs
an idiot?

Yes? I hate to ask who you think yours is?

This episode is now going to be entitled every Turret
needs an Idiot. Christian wants to banish Rachel and then
murder Stephanie. Tonight, Andy and Sirie go on a walk,
Andy struggling to vote out Rachel because Rachel was so
good to them, especially during today's challenge. And then the

members of the Green team they get to meet in
the armory once again, the golden Boy, Ari wins a shield.
I don't understand the luckiest guy. Yeah, just keep on
falling your feet, rich, keep getting richer.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
So we go to the roundtable, Kate and Rachel say
they're going to vote each other out like immediately, which
I think is very funny. I'm sure Christian's sitting there thinking,
thank God, no one's talking about how I'm an idiot
right now.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
They just kind of glazed over that, like it didn't
really come up again and I was shocked.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Yeah, yeah, no, because listen, this was an impressive roundtable.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
As far as the arguments.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Between Kate and Rachel, I liked it all around, and
I like how they spoke. Rachel did try, She really tried,
but I think in her heart of heart, she felt
like she was losing. I honestly don't know how it
got turned around on her that badly though.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
Well, she seemed like she was totally blindsided.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
But you think as a game, yeah, but you think
as a gam where she wouldn't take it so personal.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Because now seventh episode, again, you're there a few weeks,
you're starting to get close with Tea and.
Speaker 4 (27:30):
Yeah, you're close to the end too, so you're thinking,
now your mind's on the money, and you.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Do know the Well, here's the other thing.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
After a certain amount of episodes, you get a bonus. Yeah,
of course, I never pay attention to those things, so
I wouldn't have known which when that was coming.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
You do get a bonus.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
So there was a certain part of her I'm sure
that wanted to say for a bunch of reasons, and
she really was playing hard.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
She was playing really hard.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
I also think that she felt Blindside. I did buy
some of her friends, right, Like, she's upset by Ari
voting for her, She's upset that Christian votes for her.
She's broken hearted the series voting for us. So I
think that she thought that there was she had a like,
you know, a puncher's chance in this whole thing. And
I also understand where she's coming from. Even if Kate
(28:20):
isn't a trader, I would be voting for her because
I mean, even though she did help in this last mission,
she's not a very helpful person in the missions to
get the money. So even if I'm wrong, I'm thinking, well,
I didn't lose so much because she's not helping us
get a bunch of money.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
I agree with that.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
Yeah, but she's amazing television, so I want her to
stay on. And obviously the producers think that too, because
they keep paying her back.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
You know, she comes back.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
She came back as a player, then she came back
as a visitor to one of the missions, like she
would take a special surprise with poverty. But here's the
thing she's saying to herself, why am I playing my
bust in my ass for money that I'm not going
to leave here with because I don't plan on winning.
I'm not playing to win. I'm playing right now to
(29:08):
get thrown out of here. And the other thing is
that the end of the day, it's not the team
that wins the money, it's whoever's standing and around that
fire pit. So there's a lack of incentive there. I
think too.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
You know, do you think like the longer you last
and you get to the end like that, like it
is about the money at that point. I think at
the very beginning, like I did, I never thought I
was going to win, but I was just trying to
stay alive as long as I could. But then when
you're towards the end, you're like, okay, now it's about
the money buried towards the end, we're not too far off.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Yeah, it's getting.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Pretty everybody's at the point now where they could kind
of taste maybe I might win this. Yeah, why am
I if I'm still here? And this is what sarih
says in this episode. She goes, it's getting to the end,
and I'm on the trajectory to win.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
I think she wanted to win from the very beginning.
There's like some people that go in there that just
they're very competitive and want to win.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Other people are like, I'm just doing this for fun.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
I don't even really know what I'm doing strategic, just
trying to say.
Speaker 1 (30:15):
I feel like that was us, all of that, but now.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Look at us. We could talk about it on our podcast.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
That's true. So Rachel gets banished, she's broken hearted. I
actually feel bad for her, Like you could tell that
this really hurt her soul, that this was happening and
that no one was believing her. But alas you know,
they take down another faithful and then everyone splits up
the talk and finally they start looking at Christians.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
Finally they needed a castle to fall on them. But
you know who wasn't sad that Rachel got banished?
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Kate?
Speaker 3 (30:51):
She goes, Listen, I honestly will not feel bad if
you get banished because I don't really like you.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
I like you, Bye.
Speaker 4 (31:01):
Could you imagine if you did like all buy all
housewives and I don't know, people would kill people just
because they didn't like them.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
I don't think it would make it to the end.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
I think that it would be like an absolute blood
bag at the second.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
I think the castle would go up in flames.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
They need security, like they needed all of our.

Most of our tables where we're eating, especially Jersey.
