with myself Tamord judging. We have a very special co
host today, Jenna Kramer. Jana right, Jenna say, I say,
Jenna said no.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
It's that was good for ok Stak because a lot
of people will be like Joanna. Like my husband still
calls me Johanna, even though he's.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Oh, really okay. It's not John. It's not John.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
Jena, It's not Johnnna.
Speaker 1 (00:31):
It's Jenna. Jenna. Hey, guys, Hey, how are you?
Speaker 3 (00:37):
I'm really good? You are, Jaran? How are you?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
I'm good?
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Now?
Speaker 1 (00:40):
Are you at home? You're in Tennessee?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Right?
Speaker 3 (00:42):
I am in Tennessee. Yep.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Moved to Tennessee at the very end of twenty nineteen.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
So it's so you must love it. I love it.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
I do.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
I love it and I actually from Los Angeles. So yeah,
it's been it's been great.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
What made you move?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Honestly, we had just had our second in my previous marriage,
we had just had our second kid, and it was
one of those things where I've gotten to a place
with acting where I didn't have to be in La anymore. Yeah,
and so we wanted to buy a place because at
the time we were running in Studio City and I
wanted to have a backyard. And I'm from Michigan, so
(01:19):
I like that subdivision kind of vibe. When we were looking,
it was either Valencia or Santa Clarita that we could
really put roots in an afford And I'm like, well,
at this point, we should just move to Nashville because
you could have.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Just joined withal at that point.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Right, no, no, no no.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
So but yeah, it's been great and I love it
so much, and you know, we have a great little
community here, so it's been great.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
I've had so many friends move out there, and it's
always I think during the pandemic there were so many
people moving out there. And then I mean, it's just
a beautiful place.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yeah, I know, it's it's it's great for kids, and
it's it's close enough to places like New York and
LA in Michigan where I can be where I need
to be. And for filming stuff, it's been great. I
just shot a movie actually in town, so things are
moving here too, which is which is awesome.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Well, speaking of shooting a movie. There's a headline out
about Whitney Love It from Sweet Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
She's going to be starring in a holiday rom calm
All for Love is what it's called, and Deadline put
the article out. They said that she will make her
feature debut as executive producer and star of All for
(02:30):
Love at Holiday romcom from production company The Ninth House.
Have you worked with the ninth Ninth House?
Speaker 3 (02:37):
So, I've worked with the Ninth House.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Actually, our movie is number two in the US today
on Netflix. That's called The Chris Cowboy Christmas Romance, And
so Ninth House had.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Wait, is that the one with Jesse Decker. A.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
No, no, that's the Christmas Ring So that's out on
Prime Yeah. Yeah, okay, now you got to see yeah,
but yeah no, Now Ninth House did that. It was
through Lifetime, so it's Lifetime and then obviously went to
Netflix and listen. I you know, we've interviewed Whitney on
our show before. We have DMed a few times her
and I obviously I'm a huge fan of the show.
(03:13):
It's sometimes for me, those kind of shows are kind
of gets you out of your own world, you know,
and it's just it's eye candy. You know, it's just
it's just fun to watch. But I where I struggle,
and I think it's great. And I think there are
enough holiday movies for everyone, right, you know, they make
so many.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Of your stay in your lane bitch.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
No, no, no, I think it's I think it's great.
I me, you know, and she seems, you know, to
be I've never seen her act. I will say this though,
I've been acting for twenty three years and I've just recently,
as of the last five years, been able to executive producings.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah, that's what I was going to ask you about.
How is this happening?
Speaker 2 (03:58):
You know, Listen, She's got a great team. That's that's
it right there. I mean, that's a lot of and
she's got a lot of pull.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
I mean people.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
I truly believe that the Dancing with the Stars numbers
were because people love the secret lives of Mormon wives.
And I think, you know, she knows that she's going
to bring in a lot of eyeballs, and you know,
so I get that point of it, and I get
why her people are asking for that EP credit and
(04:26):
why she's getting opportunities like this. But she hasn't been
proven to be an actress. So this is kind of like,
all right, girl, like this is you know, let's see
what she got.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Let's see what she got. Yeah, it happens in the
in the housewife world as well. I mean it hasn't
happened in a while, but I remember in the earlier
days there was actresses that came on and had an
act in a long time, and then all of a
sudden they're getting rolls, small little cameos and rolls on
sitcoms and things like that. But it seemed to have
(04:55):
died out pretty quickly.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Well, that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
And if she's if she's good, then she then she
should keep booking, you know. And that's great, and I
hope that for her and that people get to live
their dream. I think that's awesome. And she went and
through that avenue. I mean, listen, I'm also kind of
I'll call myself out and be you know, the pot
kettle in this, because the only way I got a
(05:19):
country record deal was because I was on a TV show,
So I went the back door too on that, so
I can also call myself there was no way in
hell I would have gotten a record deal. If it
wasn't for the TV show that I was on, ever,
I wasn't good enough.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
I mean, you have to agree that business is hard,
it's difficult, so any way that you can get in.
I talked to my daughter about this all the time.
I'm like, when you come on the show, you need
to like promote your music. And she's like, I don't
want to ride on your coat tails. This is what
she used to say. Now she's like, let me write
on those coat tails.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah, because how many people's kids are working, you know,
And it's like, if that's the way in, let it
be that. Like I wish I had a famous mom
or dad. It would have helped me.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah. Well, I will say out of all the roles
on that show, she's very much a theater girl.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
I am. I actually want to see her show and
I think she'll be fantastic.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
It was the Christmas move that I was like, oh wow, okay,
all right, let's see.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
But I am rooting for though, I really, I really
truly am. I need you to appreciate like I want
to struggle.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
But not not in my genre here.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
No, it's fine.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Again, I am I am light years older than her,
so it's it's fine. We are not in the same
playing field, and even so, I wish the best for
anybody in any range.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Did we also hear that she got a gig on
Broadway too?
Speaker 2 (06:37):
She did Roxy, and I think that's awesome.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
That's right.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
Erica did too, Yeah, and I think that's Sarana. They
have like a reoccurring thing where they have different reality
stars on there.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Listen, more power to you take the opportunities that come.
And that's kind of how I always, you know, say
to things. I mean, I got an interesting call last
week about something in your vein of u TV, and
you know, I'm like, listen, I won't say no to anything.
I will be to every conversation because it could lead
(07:08):
me to where I want to go. And so good
on Whitney for knowing what she wants and going in
whatever however way she can get in.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Would you do reality TV? You said, don't. You don't
say no to anything, or you try not to.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
I have been asked so many times and we have.
We have always entertained the conversation. I'll say that, but
I've never wanted to affect the acting piece of it.
But at the same time, I see stuff like this.
I'm like, well, shit, I'm gonna do it that way
then if that's how I'll get back on a TV show. Yeah,
I don't think I can handle your Bravo people.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
I really don't.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Either, can I.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
I don't have thick enough skin for that.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Well you developed thick skin, that's for sure. Now there's
been talk about having a Housewife of Nashville.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
They try so many times, so many times.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
You know, they called me for Beverly Hills and I go,
you know, I don't live in Beverly Hills.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Right, who does on that show?
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Well?
Speaker 1 (08:01):
True?
Speaker 3 (08:01):
But they're like, well, you could stay to friends And
I'm like, this is so confusing.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
What, Well, we have lives in Beverly Hills, but she's
on Orange County.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Yeah, that's weird.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
And then I think the only one that actually lives
in Beverly Hills, like I think most of them live
in the valley is Erica, who has a place there,
Like she's running a place there. So I don't think
it really matters. You have Meredith on Salt Lake City
that every year she's got a new airbnb.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
So and that's what they said we couldn't do, though,
you can't Airbnb and.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
Oh really, yeah, that's that's where they draw the line.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
So I was like, I'll entertain it, but no, well.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Good luck to Whitney. Excited to see all that.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
I'll watch it. I'm gonna watch it.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Yeah, I'll watch it definitely. So we are now going
to recap season three, episode eight and nine of Secret
Lives of Mormon Wives. It starts out with Jesse and
Jordan talk about Dakota's sexteen Taylor's mom's friend. I mean, dude,
what I want to see this woman?
Speaker 3 (09:02):
How do you do?
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Because by later on we hear her voice, but it's disguised,
and to me, she sounds like a six year old
woman that has been smoking her entire life. And I'm like,
I want to see now is it Taylor's mom's friend,
Like Taylor's mom's age? Who is this person?
Speaker 2 (09:20):
I know, I have no clue, but I will say
it was a bit triggering watching all of that and
then just seeing I felt so sad for Taylor, Like
even when she was having that conversation and calling and saying, well,
how many photos? And it's like, at that point does
it even matter?
Speaker 1 (09:33):
And That's what I was thinking. But I think for
closure for her, you need to know all that information.
Just knowing that he cheated it was bad enough. Like girls,
we don't need to know all the details.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
No, I think, Yeah, so knowing too much? It depends
if you want to work on the marriage or not
you know too much. It's true, it's almost impossible.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
But how do you work on a marriage when somebody's
cheated on you? I feel like that would be I've
never had that happen. Knock on wood, But like, if
you don't have children together, to me, it's a deal breaker.
If you do have children together, I could see working
on it as much as you can for the kid's sake.
But I feel like when the trust is gone, it
(10:13):
is gone. It's got to be hard.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
I truly do believe you can work through cheating if
the person stops what they're doing. If you keep breaking
down the wall and keep cheating and keep lying, trust
will never get rebuilt and the wound will keep reopening.
So that's what basically Dakota's doing. He keeps reopening this
wound for her, and they just keep cycling on this
wheel and eventually someone has to get off because the
(10:36):
pattern isn't changing.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Yeah, now are you also confused on what Taylor expects
from Dakota. It's like she doesn't want to be with him.
I was shocked to even see he was filming this
season and then when they go to where were they
stagecoach or something like that, then they're hooking up. But
then they're not together. So I'm like, well, what not
(11:00):
excusing him texting one of you know, a family friend
or whatever. But it's kind of confusing what she wants
from him.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
I think when you have that love and that toxicity
of the good times and it's you again, you just
get stuck on that, like I said, the wheel of it,
and it's I think it's when you have again a
baby together, that love, that attraction, that physicality together. It's
that's hard because and then you also, she wants to
believe him. That's that's what we all want to do.
(11:29):
All women want to believe that this man's going to change.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
But at what point, you know, do they shit or
get off the pot?
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Like I honestly think this is my theory. She probably
would have stayed with him if she didn't get the
bachelorette call.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Yeah, well the cheat, well, him sextying this woman.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
I know, but I still how many times has he
cheated in the past?
Speaker 1 (11:53):
I know, I know, but is it cheating when you're
not really together?
Speaker 2 (11:58):
I think that's an emotional cheat or it's some sort of.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
Betrayal.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
What's their arrangement. We are just going to figure things
out and hope that we move forward, or we're not together,
we're just co parenting and you're not allowed to date anybody.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
I think she just wanted the truth and not to
feel like he was because he was always holding back
some sort of secret. Yeah, and I think, I mean,
in his defense, he didn't want to say because they
were finally being good again, so of course he's like,
well shit, And in his defense, they weren't together. But
it's a family member, so well that's where it's screwed up,
Like what are you doing a family friends?
Speaker 1 (12:36):
What are you doing? Yeah? Well, I mean it's so
sad to see Taylor and Dakota looking so happy. They're
taking pictures together with their son, who's absolutely adorable. But
then you know, over in Jesse's sponsored car whatever she's
driving up there, Jordan and her are like exposing Dakota
being you know, a little too friendly. So it's like,
the way that it's edited is so good because you
(12:58):
see them like as a family and they're taking these
pictures together, and then there's a split screen where they're,
you know, two people over here talking about how he's
hitting on one of her mom's friends. And I'm like,
oh my god, this is not gonna go well. This
is not gonna go well at all. Up buckle up.
(13:22):
And then we move on to Whitney and Connor. They
go to the park with their kids. Whitney's emotionally drained
after season two reunion and felt like an outsider. I
know what that's like like just going through one of
those reunions. I did feel did you watch the reunion
with Nick last year?
Speaker 2 (13:39):
I did not watch the reunion last I watched this
last one, but not the one last year.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Okay, I felt like Nick, really who I love. I
do love Nick, but he was a little hard on
Whitney kind of. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Do you think that was deserved though, given ye we
saw from Whitney.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yes, for sure, I think so. I think there's always
one person in the hot seat. I'm just speaking from
experience because I'm always in the hot seat at the reunion.
But then when you feel like everybody is ganging up
on you, it's not a great feeling at all.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
We'll ask this though to you too.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Yeah, if you're always the one ganged up, then isn't
there maybe something underneath that?
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Is there a reason why Whitney and you guys are
the ones being ganged up on?
Speaker 1 (14:21):
I think and when you have when you're the person
that's moving storyline and bringing things up and you know,
always making you know, problems, I'm just kidding. I don't
try to make problems. I'm just like, we can't just
sit here and talk about you know, your neighbor's friend
or your brother's whatever. You know what I mean. You
have to have content. And it's weird some girls that
(14:44):
have been on the shows for so long, they just
don't get it. And I'm like, let's get in there,
let's get this thing done, and let's talk about what
we need to talk about and go home, you know.
And so I think that, you know, I think a
lot happened last season, and she didn't look great, and
she's been in and out of mom Talk, which which
confuses me when people go, oh, she's back in mom talk?
(15:08):
Are we talking mom talk? Or the show The Real House, right,
you know what I mean, like, what are they what
are they talking about?
Speaker 3 (15:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (15:16):
No, I mean again I think I always wonder, but
you just kind of said that perfectly. Is when you
are the person that is bringing stuff up, you are
the storyline, then you are going to be more on the.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Hot seat with them.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
So I get that, but I also go, well, there's
a reason why everybody has an issue with you.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
There has to be something there too. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Yeah, if every single person has an issue with you, She's.
Speaker 1 (15:46):
Gone through every season with somebody having an issue with you,
I know.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
And that's where it's like, I think back on my
friendships and go, I.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
We're all good.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
I don't understand, like why why everyone has an issue
with you? Well know, they're actually does not friends.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
Yeah, I'm almost casts are not friends. But but she
made it very she was very open when she came back.
She's like, I'm here for business reasons only.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
I respect that.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Yeah, I mean she let them know exactly where she
was at and all this, and she's just there to
make money. I think that Whitney might be one of
the first girls to leave if her career takes off.
Let's say Broadway and other things. She's going to be
like Adriana. Adriana, you know she left, didn't want to
be back on Bravo and just kind of doing her
own thing. Yeah, got another show, all that stuff. So
(16:35):
it'll be interesting to see Whitney if she comes back,
if her career takes off. But don't you think like
being on a platform like that, it goes hand in hand.
You get more opportunities to do other things when you
are on a reality show.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
It seems that way, So I think I'm yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
It does. It really does. Do you think that Whitney
gets a lot of shit because she's sticking up for
to me and the girls cannot stand her. Because I
had a little bit about that on my season because
I was I felt bad for Katie and then everybody
got mad at me for wanting to be friends with Katie.
(17:12):
So I feel like this is kind of the same
situation where they're Whitney is, you know, listening to her
and reposting her stuff and all these things, and the
girls it's pissing the girls off.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
I mean, they're both kind of at that time, no
one was really wanting to be their friends. So I
feel like in that situation, that's when those people would
most likely come together, Yeah, to be friendly. You know,
they want an ally in it, right, and so that
makes sense. I don't know if she's doing it because
she feels bad for her because she just wants a friend.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Yeah, that's true. That's true. We'll see as time goes on. Yeah,
Mikayla and Chase are in couples therapy. This whole storyline
really breaks my heart. Makes me so sad, so sad,
and you know, more comes out and I just feel
like she's so brave to talk about this stuff. And
you know, she's talked about autoimmune issues, which probably go
(18:06):
hand in hand with what she's dealing with. Yeah, and
you know, yeah, stress is just hurting her so bad.
She talks about her sex life and how she's just
not really into it right now.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
I love her, I love them. I think it's so brave.
I think it's going to help a lot of people.
And yeah, I just I that storyline just it made
me hopeful that it's going to help people.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Yeah, that too, that's what I thought. It's going to
help girls come out and you know, she's holding onto
information from when she was six years old and again,
it's you know, sounds like it could be a family
member or a very close friend to the family, which
she's still protecting that person, which is really really sad.
And I think a lot of girls probably do that
because they don't want to cause problems within the family.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah, but she I love that. I love watching their story.
I hope that they can. They just seem so sweet together,
and he seems so respectful and patient, and I think
that's a really beautiful and handsome trait of a husband.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, he is like the best husband. He really is.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
My son's name is Jason.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Oh really. Oh, but then I worry like him talking about,
you know, not getting sex, and then you know, all
the hose and instagram dming pictures of their boots and stuff.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
You know, I don't Well, of course the girls will
go do that, I know, but don't open up.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
I think he's a good guy though. I think he's
gonna be good.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah. And then one thing we saw that we hardly
ever see is reality people shopping in grocery stores. You
just never see that. It's so hard to get clearance
to be walking through a grocery store. Really. Yeah, It's
like certain things are really hard to do. Major stores.
Lot of major stores, they're not going to let you
film there. The grocery stores are usual one of them
(20:00):
that are like stuff you hardly ever see that, but
their shopping. They're talking about how mom Talk is going
to celebrate pride after Utah passed the anti LGBTQ legislation.
Macy talks about Dakota giving her the ick.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
So I think I would have said yes in season one. Yeah,
and I think he just needs help. I don't think
he doesn't. I think Chase gives me the eck more
than Dakota.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
Oh God, Chase gives me the major eck. Yeah. And
you heard he just got in trouble. Oh did he
Yeah he got arrested. Oh I near that, yeah, d.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
U I and a lot of holiday stuff so.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Yeah allegedly, yeah, this is not very holiday. Is allegedly
Futanahl all kinds of stuff, oh dear he got yeah, yeah,
it was in July actually July. Wow, Well why is
it just now surfacing? I wonder they kept it under
wraps because it just hit the press like not so
long ago. So, yeah, he doesn't give me the ick.
(21:03):
I just think he does stupid things. I think that
he's one of those guys that are insecure. He can't
be alone. I think that he really loves Taylor. I
think Taylor loves him too. I think that they want
I would love to see them get back together.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
You know, she's going on the Bachelorette.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
I know, But does those things really work out?
Speaker 2 (21:22):
You know?
Speaker 3 (21:22):
It would be so great?
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Is at the very end, Dakota is like wait and
then he goes down on one knee.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Usus, now see now there you are. You're producing it.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
I know, I know, I know.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Then we see Jen and Ezra, who's Dancing with the
Star pro but he they meet to practice and all that,
which is really cool that Ezra is not Jenn's dance partner.
He just grew up in Utah. He is an ex Mormon.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Did you watch Dancing with the Stars.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
I was on some of it, but I didn't watch
all of it. That Dancing with the Stars. Have you
done it?
Speaker 2 (21:57):
I have? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (21:58):
How was it?
Speaker 3 (21:58):
No?
Speaker 1 (21:59):
I'm so that was like my so scary to me
because I just can't dance. I can't dance, I can't sing,
so I would be like make a fool of myself. Yeah,
I did a dance. I did the Chow Chow for
my wedding and I had to literally practice for I
don't know weeksAs just for that one dance that was like,
I don't know, sixty seconds.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
That's great.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
I honestly feel bad that they paired them up, like
well that Jen.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
They picked Jen and Whitney.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
I know why they did, you know, Like I Dina
Katz and I was like, good job casting friend, you know,
like wait, because they know to have those two that's
going to bring the drama and it did, you know,
so you know, we'll obviously see more of that in
season three. But I I love Jen. I think Jenna's great.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
I think she's so cute. Yeah, she just seems like
so cute, so innocent, so kind. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
I really like her a lot, and so I was
happy to see her on the show. Obviously, Whitney was
the better dancer. I thought Whitney was gonna win a
hundred percent. Yeah, she's fantastic. She and what she did
with Alex Cooper that was awesome. Did you watch the
final dance?
Speaker 1 (23:05):
I didn't watch the final dance.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
It was great, so yeah it was it was It
was awesome. So and she deserved that moment. So but yeah,
I you know again, I get why they pick those two.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Yeah, no, they I thought we sure whin he was
gonna win. I loved just before she wasn't even gonna
be on Dance to the Stars. Just going on her
Instagram page and just watching her dance and do her tiktoks.
I'm like, that girl can move. But my goodness, what
a glow up she had. Yeah, I'm like, whoa. I mean,
(23:40):
first of all, obviously dancing eight hours a day or
however long you guys do that. She looks amazing.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
She really does. Yeah, she looks great.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
I would just like to go and Dance to the
Stars just so I can get Who would you want
as your partner? Well, I want only because I'm friends
with him and he doesn't he doesn't work there anymore.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
But Max Max is great. They just came to Nashville
to look at homes.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
They do it.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
They Yeah, him and Peto were in my house like
a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Oh my god, I love them. So I do this.
I did Traders with fun. Yeah, would you do Traders?
Speaker 3 (24:13):
I'll do anything.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
I'll do anything. Oh my god, you should do Traders.
It's just such a big commitment. Yeah, okay, it's like
you could be there thirty days. Oh wow, that would
be tough. That's tough. And then with kids and you
have no phone, Oh yeah, that'd be I couldn't do that. Actually,
and you're locked in any hotel room when you're not
(24:35):
at the castle. I'm kidding. It's I think I think
Dina casts for that as well.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
She probably knows that I wouldn't leave my kids.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah, it's hard. Your little ones.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Little, right, Yeah, so I've got a two, seven and
ten Yeah, almost ten.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
That's too hard. They're too little, yeah, too little. Yeah.
So she stands with Ezra. She's the cutest pregnant girl
doing the cha cha or the salsa or whatever she
was doing. You know. And Ezra cracked me up because
he didn't waste any time getting involved with the drama,
talking about, you know, the church. I'm like, Hulu, give
this boy a contract. He was so, you know, some
(25:10):
people just get it when it comes to reality people.
Reality TV and other ones are just I'm not going
to talk. I'm not going to talk. He talked about
you know, being gay and going I think he went
to Baylor and just being in Utah, and when he
found out he was gay, they took him out of dance.
(25:31):
I thought it was a really cute scene. I think
that that he he should be on the show more often,
is what I thought. He talked more than some of
the guys.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
Dead Yeah, agreed.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Taylor and Coda have a photo shit with ever. Taylor says,
in order to have a future together, Dakota needs to
be honest and stop lying. And all I can think
is like, girl, you have no idea what is coming
your way? Stay tuned and stay tuned like it's just
crazy and it's sad. It's like shit. And then Demi
and Demi, I always want to call it Demi, Demi
(26:10):
and Whitney go to lunch. Do you think Demi missed
the reunion due to Disneyland or because she had too
much explaining to do so last year you said you
didn't watch the reunion, but she just didn't go to
the reunion. And it's like, they give us date. I mean,
I'm pretty sure it's the same. They give you dates.
(26:30):
Who's all available? We want you all there for the
reunion and you're like, oh, sorry, I've gone to Disneyland.
I got a date with Mickey Mouse, I can't make
the reunion Like a housewife world, if you don't go
to the reunion, you're fired.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Yeah, that seems weird.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
So I'm just thinking, like all that stuff came out
about Marciano, and she's like, I need time to process this.
I don't know what I'm gonna say. But then I
also think that Demi lives in like her own reality
Do you like Demi? I try not to say that
I don't like any reality star because it's such a
tough job to do. Sure, and I don't think she
(27:08):
does herself any favors on the show.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
What do you think about the Marciano text message and
him and the claims that of the sexual assault.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Well, that's all very confusing to me. I feel like
if you're texting another man about, you know, sexually explicit things,
you know, talking about clams and penises and cum and
all these things like that, like you're crossing a line.
You are crossing a line not only with your husband,
but like if you're saying he sexually assaulted you and
(27:41):
you're still texting him like this, Like it just doesn't
make sense. And I don't ever want to say, like, oh,
I don't believe you, Demi, but it it's hard. It's
hard to prove with text messages like this.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
I have I have two I have a I have
two things, and I've a kind of a devil's advocate
with it. So on the first side of it, I
agree with when she's like, oh, this is how I
talk to all my friends, and it's like, and someone
else had said that to me a guest on our show.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
They're like, well, I text all my.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
Guy friends, you know, hey beautiful or hey handsome. And
I'm like, that's inappropriate. Like I if my husband saw
a text message from another guy that said good morning, beautiful,
shit's going to be like not good, right, that's inappropriate
bottom line, And I don't think it's appropriate to talk
to another man in that like saying anything. If my
(28:34):
husband is right next to me. That's how I operate
how I talk to other people, because yeah, I want
to respect my husband in every conversation that I have,
whether he's next to me or with me.
Speaker 1 (28:45):
I don't believe that Brett knew everything either.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
He sure well, I mean we'll talk about the reunion later,
but I mean sure seemed like he didn't care on
the flip side of it when it comes to the
sexual assault stuff and still talking to someone. When I
was going through my DV with my one of my
abusers when I was younger, you know, the night that
he one of the nights that he tried to kill me,
(29:12):
one of the first times.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
It's horrible.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
I went back to him and slept with him that night.
So there's this thing with abuse where you they make
you feel I was nineteen twenty, so they make you
feel like you're the problem. And so I'm going back
apologizing for him strangling me.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
Yeah, No, I was with somebody very controlling.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Yeah, so you can kind of under So it's like
I think, and I think in that way, she's almost
covering her ass too with she probably doesn't want this
to come out. So it's like, Okay, I'm going to
keep playing this role to make sure that it's good.
But then you realize when you're outside of it, going wait, no,
this was wrong and we don't know actually what happened.
(30:00):
But I also then go, okay, devil's advocate too. She
is saying a show, a little touch is a shove, so.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Right, So that's where I feel like she exaggerates things
and going back to was it last season when they
had the Halloween party and she's saying, like, Chase shove.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Me, Yeah, and it's like and now again Devil's Advocate.
I will say it wasn't. Any time that someone has
an aggressive behavior, whether it's a tap on their shoulder,
there's an aggressive undertone, but it wasn't technically a shove.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
So there was a bit of a.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Uh, like you said, exaggeration on that piece of it,
which is why I love Miranda for calling that out too.
And I really have been liking Miranda more and more.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
I keep forgetting that Miranda was married to Chase. Uh huh, same,
I keep forgetting that.
Speaker 3 (30:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
I just saw their TikTok and I was like, oh,
wait what they were married, they did a kid together, Yeah,
they were singing gosh. But yeah, you know That's where
I'm like, Okay, what is you know, what is it?
But I can see sides of people being like, well,
why would you go back to this person? Well, if
you look at abuser's pasts and people that have been
in the situations, this is why. So there is a
(31:08):
claim for it, but there is maybe a bit of
an exaggeration when she's talking about a shove and then
a tap.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Yeah, but this is like she's married. She goes to
where film was it Italy? Whatever? Isn't that where this
all went down? Yeah, and then she continued conversations with him.
There's a part of me like, as much as I
want to believe her, I'm like, I feel like you're
trying to cover your ass is really not no pun intended,
(31:37):
but I feel like you're trying to cover your bad
behavior with your husband. I mean, he's got to be
upset about that.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
And then throwing Jesse into the fire and then say
you're say you did this. Why are you trying to
change a story and manipulate.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
If you're saying that this guy sexually assaulted you and
then you're talking with him and then you're saying that,
oh no, it's just that's having an affair with him. Well,
if he's a sexual assaulter and he's telling you that, like,
wouldn't you like think like maybe this isn't true because
of your actions towards me, And none of it really
makes a lot of sense to me.
Speaker 3 (32:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Then she's like saying, the daughter hit face time on
the phone. So that's how he was facetiming with her,
and I'm like, none of this makes any sense.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
Cutly, it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
I will say, though, they're what in their twenties how
I acted in my twenties? Was I flirty and inappropriate
with something? Yeah? You know, so I am who I
would hate to be filmed in my twenties. Some of
these says, I'm married since they were sixteen. You can't sixteen,
so they had to grow up pretty fast.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
They some of them are on their.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
Second marriages, Like it's it's crazy. And then then to
find out that the reunion that Jen recorded the conversation,
I'm like, why did you record the conversation? And who
needs friends like that that are recording your conversations and
then playing it at a reunion?
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Oh yeah, that's that's that's sneaky. Only time I've ever
recorded a conversation was in a heated moment and I
needed to hold myself accountable to not get heated.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
But I didn't use it.
Speaker 1 (33:19):
As like a a I've done that before.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Payback, where it's like, I have to hold myself accountable
to speak from a good place, and the only way
I can do it is if I'm recording myself.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Yeah, no, I get that. I totally get that.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
So but you can't use it in a No, you
cannot use it like, well you said it doesn't that
doesn't matter, Like it's not fair to be recording conversations.
Speaker 1 (33:38):
Right, So the mom Talk Hoax hosts the Pride event.
Jesse is upset that Dakota hasn't told Taylor about this
sexting situation. So she's brewing over there, going should I
tell her? Should not tell her? But she she knew,
she knows it's going to come out. Macy wants to
be more active supporter in the LGBTQ community, so she
put prad She cracked me up. She put Pride flags
(34:01):
around the house. So I said, that's a start. Uh, Laila,
I tried out for the wrong brother. So Layla was
with Chase and now she's with Chase's brother.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
They seem so cute. I like, I like Layla and
I like they just like I like you ever together?
Speaker 1 (34:18):
Have you ever tried the wrong brother and go, oh, no,
I need him. I've tried.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
I've tried the wrong friend friend, but never never the
wrong brother, have you No?
Speaker 1 (34:31):
I don't think so, not that I can remember.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
I feel like, oh, I got to think back.
Speaker 1 (34:35):
So, like, literally, I got married when I was eighteen
years old.
Speaker 3 (34:39):
And you're with the same man.
Speaker 1 (34:40):
No, I've been married three times? Are you kidding me?
So I got married. I got pregnant in high school.
So I got married to my high school sweetheart, and
then from there went into another long term relationship, didn't
get married, and then went into another lung got married.
So I haven't had like a ton like yeah, no, no.
So Mikayl and Jason are about to go to bed,
(35:01):
Mikayla opens up to Jase about her sexual abuse and
how she struggles with guilt and anger, telling Jason she
was six years old when she was sexually assaulted. I mean,
it's absolutely heartbreaking to watch. I'm assuming this is news
that he's never heard before, but he's so good about it,
Like we talked about earlier, he's such an amazing husband.
(35:22):
I hate the fact that she needs to protect this
person that did this to her, assuming, like we said,
is probably a family member. I mean, I hope the
asshole gets what he deserves. I hope that he sees this,
you know, and is shaking in his freaking boots.
Speaker 3 (35:37):
Same you know what I mean, like, it's awful.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
It's awful, and I got to believe, like, I don't
know if her parents knew, but if they know now,
I feel like they're going to want to get to
the bottom of it.
Speaker 2 (35:50):
Right. If I was a parent, yeah, I would be like, who, what, where,
and what when? And let's freaking burn the place down.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
Yeah, I know when I mean, it's hard to tell
your parents. I know, Like I wouldn't say, I don't
know if you called it sexual abuse. But we had
a wedding in our backyard one year and it was
a my cousin married this girl and her family who
I had never met before were there at our house
and I was only about twelve, thirteen maybe, and this
(36:20):
older guy from that other side of the family had
me set on his lap and I was sitting on
his lap and then he like started grabbing my and
I just got up and walked away. But I never
once told anybody, not until like later in life, like
I brought it up, and I remember talking to my
(36:41):
therapist and we talked here. She's like, were you ever
sexually And I go, no, I mean there's this one time,
but it was no big deal. And she's like, no,
it is a big deal. It is a big deal.
And I'm like, well, I didn't want to make a
big deal. I didn't want to tell my mom didn't
know this guide and barely knew this family and all
this stuff. You know. So it's like I think some times,
when stuff does happen to you, you want to you don't.
(37:03):
You don't want the bigger explosion, and the bigger explosion
being family knowing, cops being involved, all those types of things.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Yeah, so I get one through that because that's I mean,
that's a violation.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
Yeah, it's now knowing you know later in life going
you know, that is kind of dub Yeah, that's not okay.
And when you have kids you think about it, like
if somebody did that to my daughter. So I even
told my daughter, I'm like, you'll be in jail. Yeah,
if anybody touches you, anybody, I don't care what they do,
you tell me.
Speaker 3 (37:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
And the bad thing is is that you have to
say if if anybody touches you, like, it's usually the
people closest to you.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
Yeah, that's what I hear.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
And so I'm like, even if it's this person or
that person, you need to tell mommy, Yeah, you know
for sure.
Speaker 1 (37:48):
So they talk about the betrayal and all that. It's
just it's just so heartbreaking, you know. So then then
we get to Taylor calls her sister Aspen and she
tells her that and that this was interesting that her
therapist actually called her to let her know that she's
going to be getting some information and it's about Dakota,
(38:10):
and she just, you know, she doesn't want to meet
with her therapist. She doesn't want to know, but she
does want to know, and you know, talk about betrayal.
Dakota just can't keep to himself, like he just can't.
He can't be alone. He needs somebody. But to go
after a family member or somebody close to the family
(38:31):
is such a betrayal, Like I'd want to kick his ass.
Yeah right, yeah, yeah, So we're going to move on
to episode nine. The girls are getting ready for press.
Fun fact the day that they're doing press. Me and
Teddy were part of that press. Eh, fine, so we did.
(38:51):
We're at Ihearten Burbank and we interviewed some of the
girls and we had heard beforehand, you know, hey, just
want to let you know they are filming this, but
being on you know, they didn't film ours situation, but
it was fun. We got to meet the girls, We
got to do a TikTok with them.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
Have you met any of them? I have met most
of them, I interviewed Aler. Yeah, I may see Leyla Whitney.
Speaker 3 (39:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
Yeah, I haven't met Taylor either.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
I want to.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
I do too. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
I think she's cool.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
What a one eighties she's done from season one to
now one thousand percent. Like, I am so proud of her,
Like she's, like most times, the voice of reason.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
And I love that she went away too, to that
retreat center. I think one of the best things I
did personally after my divorce was I went away and
just worked on myself, no phone, nothing, And at those
retreat centers, I mean it's years of therapy wrapped into
a week, you know, and it's you could see the
difference when she did get back, and you can see
how she talks and how she interacts with people that
(39:57):
it was helpful for her.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
So I yeah, I'm super proud of her.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
And maybe I had to go feeling she either went
I this is where a lot of people go, the
Hoffman Institute. I ended up not going there, but I
went to on site because I love on site.
Speaker 1 (40:15):
But where's the Hoffman Institute at.
Speaker 3 (40:18):
I believe it's in California.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
Okay, so that would have been a closer, but I'm
not Again, that might not have been the one, but
that's where a lot of people go. It's either Hoffman
on site.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
I think there's one other one too that I don't know,
but I think. And it's sad that she has to
deal with this during press, you know, and so hopefully
when she's removes Dakota out of her life, she she
won't let these moments be her joy being stolen because
of his actions. And I feel like that's sad when
(40:48):
it keeps continuously stealing her joy in areas where she
should be joyful and celebrating.
Speaker 1 (40:55):
Well, I feel like she did keep pretty calm getting
this information and knowing it and blowing up. Yeah, and
then sometimes when you're in really TV, I feel like
people blow up just for the TV moment and she's
not even doing that. She's like, Nope, I'm gonna stay calm.
I'm gonna you know, feed on the ground. I'm not
(41:16):
gonna over you know. Yeah, it was it was tough,
but so she's extremely upset about the situation, and I
love how low maintenance Taylor is. They're all getting ready,
they have glam in that room, and she's doing her
own makeup while being upset with Dakota, you know about
what Dakota did. Miranda reminds Whitney that Demi's false accusations. See,
(41:37):
the girls think it's all false too. So it's hard
because you know, we could be getting swayed by the
other girls, but I don't know. But it's true though.
Speaker 2 (41:48):
They really could ruin his life. Just though this is
again though, in defense of the other side of things
for Jesse. Marciano tried to ruin jes his life too. Yeah,
you know, with what his accusations that they slept together.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
I think he's a douchebag. I I'm sorry, Marciano, but
just what you did was just not cool at all.
Speaker 3 (42:12):
Yeah. He gives me the if that yeah yeah.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
Yeah, And he's no longer on that other show, so
oh okay. But it wasn't even invited to the Hulu events,
so I don't.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
Yeah, it just feels a little weird, like he's these
are two married women.
Speaker 3 (42:29):
What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (42:30):
What are you doing? Dude?
Speaker 2 (42:31):
But also what are they doing? But also you're you're
you're mad that she said something. Well look what you
did to try to ruin Jesse.
Speaker 3 (42:38):
So yeah, look.
Speaker 1 (42:39):
What you did. Yeah I heard he filed a lawsuit.
Speaker 3 (42:43):
He did.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
Yeah, oh he did for sure.
Speaker 3 (42:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:46):
I think he's a suitor for for basically what she.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
She made up. But I'm like, hello, you did the
same thing to Jesse.
Speaker 1 (42:55):
He did so, But I think the thing is is
like saying you slept with somebody then saying sexual assault
in the law. Yeah, in the law's eyes, Like that
is like you can't say things like that.
Speaker 3 (43:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (43:08):
So yeah, So the girls are on their way to interviews.
The girls have been separated so no fights will break out.
This reminds of Housewife's stuff, of course, whitneying to me
or together. Taylor tells the girls she and Dicota got
into a fight, but she doesn't share the details. So
she's been very quiet. She's not spreading the gossip. She's
(43:29):
waiting for the right time. The girls want to me
to admit that she's been flirty, and I agree, just like,
just admit it. And she will not. She will not,
She will not give at all. She won't she doesn't
take accountability for much, and I think that's why the
girls really just don't believe her. So after the interview,
(43:49):
Demi gets emotional. I mean that interview, the host went
right in right for her. Yeah, it's like we saw
the thing with Chase and then what's going on with Marciano?
Like she really was I mean, who knows.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
I think she get wrapped up in her own storylines
and now she's trying to rescue.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Yeah, yep, yep, yep. So it's crazy. Do you remember
Demi's You know, she was a fan favorite.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
I loved I loved her.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
I did tooth one her and Jessie both, and I
like Jesse, but yeah, I love Demi, Demi and Jesse.
Speaker 1 (44:23):
Do you think it could be just editing.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
I don't think some of the things she's saying is
helping her regardless of editing. Yeah, because I know, like
I don't like how she's treating Jesse.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
I don't like.
Speaker 1 (44:39):
Yeah, you know, the thing funny thing with Real TIV
is like she could say a million nice things to Jesse, sure,
and then they don't show any of that, and all
they're going to do is show that.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
Well that's the beauty and the empathy that you have
because you're in that world.
Speaker 1 (44:55):
So yeah, and then Jen saying that Demi's manager called
her man manager or surfer with the seasoned desists letter
to shut her up. But then Demi it's like, bring it,
show it, let's go, let's go, which I she probably
did or threatened her with it, right, threatened her with
(45:16):
it more than anything. Which whatever. Yeah, I've had a
few in my life. I've sent a few in my life.
Then Taylor gets ready for Jimmy Kimmel. These girls, their
world is just turned upside down. All these sane It's insane, right,
I've never seen anything so quick, like just fame fame.
(45:40):
Why do you think that is?
Speaker 2 (45:43):
I think it's a you know, it's it's a different concept,
even though it's still the same concept because it's women.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (45:52):
I mean, it's it has that housewives vibe, but it's
on the Mormon side of things, and.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
It's do you think that Hulu's going to franchise this show? Couldn't?
Speaker 3 (46:04):
I don't know how they could. I don't know. This
isn't most because.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
It's like younger it's like younger Housewives. So it's basically
what it is. It's the same interesting model is.
Speaker 2 (46:16):
What we have and have had for twenty years, right,
So I feel like they'll always be the stars.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
Yeah. Yeah, So they're getting ready for Jimmy Kimmel. Taylor
to her mom about Dakota, and her mom is pissed off.
Taylor's like, Mom, you have to just laugh at it
or you'll get depressed. I'm like, okay, okay, but her
(46:45):
mom is livid. Her brother's with her. Taylor tells us
just how crazy her family is, and it's like, girl,
you don't have to tell us. We know, we know.
We've seen your family dinners, We've seen the interaction between
you guys. And then did you touch that scene where
the guys what guys? Were They two guys out by
the pool at the hotel talking about how they're gonna
(47:06):
quit their jobs and they're just gonna get triple strollers.
They're gonna live in la and nothing says Mormon like
having a triple stroller. And I'm like, yeah, do any
of these guys actually work?
Speaker 2 (47:20):
The dad talk thing is like, it's that is weird
to me. Let's just keep it mom talk. Now they're
doing dad talking, I know, right. It feels a little
I don't, I don't, I don't.
Speaker 1 (47:32):
Ikey yeah yeah, ikky. So Miranda goes to Whitney's room.
Demi joins them too. Miranda says Chase didn't shove her,
like she was like really standing up for her ex.
She's like, he didn't shove you, and then she does
like a demonstration like this could be a chef she
taps her or this could be a I'm like, when
she pushed her like that, I would have went like.
Speaker 2 (47:54):
Okay, actually, don't touch me, touch me, Yeah, that's why
you're shoving me.
Speaker 1 (47:58):
Do not touch me.
Speaker 2 (48:01):
Yeah, that's again where that's where I'm like, Okay, that's not.
Speaker 1 (48:06):
What did you think?
Speaker 2 (48:07):
There's an aggressive undertone of someone, anybody touching someone when
they're in it, when they're frustrated. But I still wouldn't
call that a chef.
Speaker 1 (48:14):
Yeah. What did you think about Demi's call with Brett?
Speaker 2 (48:19):
Again, I just don't understand. I wish there was a
bit of accountability for both of them to say that
what they've each said is wrong too.
Speaker 1 (48:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:35):
So in him just being like yeah, f those girls,
I get he's just trying to be there for his wife,
But at the same time, there's just I know they
love the word accountability, so I'll just say for both
of them, they're not taking any accountability.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
Yeah. I mean, I couldn't imagine my husband, you know,
knowing that cameras are on saying stuff like they're deeply
rooted white trash, lying cowards at them all like that
to me just shows characters.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
It's it's like, that's yeah, that's that's just mean and
disrespectful and let's not name call.
Speaker 1 (49:11):
Yeah, and then Demi. Demi's on the phone and then
she's like, I found I found this funny. I don't
know why I found this funny, but she's like, I
have to go on a double decker bus with them.
Speaker 3 (49:22):
It's to go to the task.
Speaker 1 (49:23):
It's my worst nightmare. I'm like, everything that you guys do,
being on a double decker bus with a bunch of
fans fans is your worst nightmare. I'm like, okay, okay.
So Whitney and Taylor talked, and I thought, this is
a very good conversation. I love the one on one
conversations that they have on these shows, Like I wish
(49:45):
Housewives had more of it and not like a gang
up situation, and uh, you know, Whitney apologizes for not
being there for Taylor. Taylor tells Whitney that she's sad
about the situation involving Dakota, but still doesn't give any details.
Speaker 2 (50:00):
So I think it's nice for Whitney to recognize and
acknowledge that.
Speaker 3 (50:06):
And I think we all do this.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
We're all so stuck in our own worlds and our
own pain and our own shit that we're going through
that sometimes we forget that other people are going through
things too, And so I think that's really good that
she also realizes that. She's like, yeah, I was in
my own stuff and I wasn't being a good friend,
and I love that ownership.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
I did too.
Speaker 2 (50:29):
I will say, like, when I was going through my divorce,
I probably wasn't a good friend because I didn't I
wasn't asking anybody else any other questions about how our
lives because my life is shit.
Speaker 1 (50:39):
Yeah, when you're going through stuff, it's hard to be
a good friend. But then when you have, you know,
you see a friend that's going through a hard time,
that's a good time for you to be a good
friend to that person. Yeah, because you know, we've all
gone through hard times. It's not necessarily. It takes a
very very, very kind hearted person to see other people
(51:00):
struggling when you are going through something really hard. Agreed.
Speaker 3 (51:03):
So yeah again, I love that.
Speaker 1 (51:05):
Yeah, I agree with you.
Speaker 3 (51:06):
I love that conversation.
Speaker 1 (51:07):
So Whitney thought that it would be cute if they
fought over the first chair, and every time Whitney just
moves her body. I just see Dancing with the Stars
and theater girl. You know, she's so animated, she really is. So.
Jesse talks at Taylor. She tells Taylor that there were
inappropriate pictures between Dakota and that woman. And then you know, they,
(51:31):
like we talked about earlier, they get caught up, you know,
was it one? Was it three? Was it five? Does
it matter?
Speaker 3 (51:37):
Doesn't matter?
Speaker 1 (51:38):
I mean I can't imagine and I'm sure you can't
either a family friend or relatives sending your husband sexy
pictures of themself. If I have to like text to
like maybe do an invitation for dinner or something, I
always make sure, like my husband's on it, you know,
my friend her husband, like everybody's on it. Agreed, Right,
(52:01):
I just feel like it just makes me feel totally
uncomfortable and I.
Speaker 2 (52:05):
Wouldn't like, I don't know, I wouldn't want my husband
texting a girl.
Speaker 3 (52:10):
No, yeah, oh no, I get.
Speaker 1 (52:12):
No recipe for disaster. I feel like, yeah, the girls
are on the bus, it's their last press obligation. They feel.
They all feel like it's such a surreal experience. They're
all soaking it in. They're soaking in the California son
down there in LA with all the exhaust fumes. They're like,
we have officially made it. So, I'm sure you've had
(52:36):
one of your shows your face plastered on a bus before.
Have you had that happen? Yeah, so I remember the
first time. You know, they don't do it anymore. But
when Housewives was brand new, I'm talking probably eighteen years ago,
we were in New York, the whole cast. They's just
in the whole cast in New York to do press.
I think it was before even Watch What Happens Live
was even out, and we would literally chase the buses
(52:59):
with our face on the side of it, and it
was so exciting. I mean, here's a girl that never
wanted to be on TV or wasn't an actress, and
all of a sudden, on TV and our faces are
on the buses and all that, and it's exciting. It's like, yes, yes,
do you like my question? Do you like Whitney part
(53:20):
of mom talk? Do you think that Whitney could be
more involved if, to me was not in the mix?
Speaker 2 (53:32):
Again, I think that Whitney is looking at it from
the business standpoint and she's only going to do what
she probably obliga, what her obligations are, but that's all
she really would want to do.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
Would you like her to see her closer with the girls,
because I've really like, yeah, I mean the same, I
mean I do, I do like her.
Speaker 2 (53:55):
I would like for her not to be always the
one that is on the the hot seat and that
there could be actual friendship because I do like her.
There's there's a piece in me that's like, oh, but
she's always seems to be the one that people have
a problem with. So if she could have the season
where it's it's not. But here's the thing now is
I think people are going to be jealous of successes
(54:17):
that are starting to happen.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
Oh for sure, there already was who was it was it? Miranda?
Speaker 2 (54:23):
But also Jen and Whitney from dancing.
Speaker 1 (54:27):
Yeah, and then being on Jimmy Kimmel. Was it Miranda
or somebody who.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
Macy made a comment, She's like, how she got on it?
Speaker 1 (54:34):
Yeah, She's like does she still have that publicist? Did she?
Speaker 2 (54:36):
Like?
Speaker 1 (54:37):
There's already?
Speaker 2 (54:38):
But also Taylor and Whitney are I think the main stars? Yeah,
so like they should be on Jimmy. I mean Taylor
for sure, I think they're great.
Speaker 1 (54:46):
Yeah she is, she's the girl up front, and Whitney like,
she's just so talented. She really is, She's truly talented.
So then Taylor goes to her parents' house. Taylor and
her mom call this woman, and you know, I was
shocked when Taylor's like, Hi, like, Hi, how are you.
(55:07):
I'm like I wouldn't. I'd be like I'd be sitting
with my arms crossed, going yeah, give it up, lady,
give it up. But oh she was really super nice
about it.
Speaker 3 (55:15):
And then you know that these guys also just shows
her character too.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
Yeah, then we have this disguised voice, nobody knows who
it is. Did you watch do you watch Orange County?
Speaker 3 (55:26):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (55:27):
I'm okay good because there was no no, no, no problem,
no great because then there's no judgment.
Speaker 2 (55:32):
I'm like I know nothing, that's the thing, and I shouldn't.
Speaker 1 (55:36):
There, No, you shouldn't. So there there was a disguised
caller at our reunion and it was so bizarre, and
the guy said, I have information that Tamra was linking
stories to the press and you no, I wasn't. I
was not. And it wasn't even stories. It was like, uh,
storylines and it was stupid stuff like on May twelve,
(56:00):
I filmed with Heather on May h King. Yeah, it
was like stupid stuff that everybody on the cast would
have known. But it was like it wasn't even and
it never came out. It never came out. So that's
where it was like weird. It was like, this is weird.
So it brought back I had PTSD of a disguised
(56:20):
voice on the other side of the phone, and the caller,
whoever she is is she's denying it and she's like,
I didn't send him a picture. Then Taylor's like, and
you're bra and underwear you sent him a picture And
she's like then she goes like this and I love
when people do this. Oh no, I was in a swimsuit.
Speaker 3 (56:39):
So then you did send a picture, right, Ah.
Speaker 1 (56:42):
Like you're so you just stepped in your own shit.
Speaker 3 (56:45):
Oh I hate it. That's yeah, that's that's all chuggering.
Speaker 1 (56:48):
She's like, I was in my swimsuit in Florida. I
never invited him over other than to cry it out.
I'm like, you are a walking contradiction. And then Taylor's like, oh,
the girl's cry it out and fuck the way she
said it.
Speaker 3 (57:02):
The fuck.
Speaker 1 (57:03):
I'm like, oh my god.
Speaker 3 (57:06):
She's a badass. I love Taylor.
Speaker 1 (57:08):
She I do too. I love her.
Speaker 2 (57:09):
So I think everyone will land where they're meant to.
And it's unfortunate for Taylor and Dakota because I do
think they're really cute together. But I think she needs
a fresh start with someone she can trust and respect
and that respects her.
Speaker 1 (57:24):
Yeah, I do too, and I'm curious to see if
she's going to get that on this new show she's
doing Hope.
Speaker 2 (57:30):
So yeah, there hasn't been many track records that There's
been a few.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
No, wait, I think there's like one couple that's been
together forever, like Tristan and Yeah, Andrew Andrew, I can't
remember who the he was. He was a fire frying
yes Ryan Ryan Okay, Sutter Sutter right, Christa. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
so they're still together. They just popped up on my
(57:57):
Instagram the other day and I'm like, oh my god,
they are are still together, like twenty something years.
Speaker 3 (58:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (58:02):
Usually I feel like there's good success with The Bachelorette.
We'll see here, I'm gonna watch it.
Speaker 3 (58:09):
We're doing another episode together though, right, yep.
Speaker 1 (58:12):
We are. We're doing the season finale and the reunion.
So yeah, so I'll see you tomorrow. But thanks guys
for tuning in today. Thank you so much for having
me out. No, thank you
