Speaker 1 (00:14):
Hi, guys, Welcome to another episode of Diamonds in the
Rough with John Mellencamp's daughter Teddy and.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
I don't have a famous dad. My name is Erica Jane.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
How are you, by the way, tired today? A little tired?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Yeah, but good.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
You know, well, we have a big weekend coming up.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
So excited.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
Yeah, we got a big weekend coming quinn.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Okay, let's go. Season nineteen, episode nine, Emily and Gretchen
meet for a testosterone shot appointment. I got my hormones
two days ago, and it hurts sitting here, so.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
You couldn't play volleyball.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
No, not for a couple of days. It hurts. Emily
and Gretchen hope that Katie is gone for good. After
the party, and Emily noticed Tamra and Gretchen hugging at
the party. Gretchen tells Emily that Tamra had thanked her
forgetting the truth from Kiki, and Emily thinks Gretchen and
Tama need to talk at the beach. What do you
(01:17):
think I think that.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Gretchen and Tarmra talking at this point. I know, like
a couple of weeks ago, I was like, you know what,
I want them to squash the beef. But now that
I've like been more in this, like Gretchen rabbit hole.
So Gretchen blames Tamra for the reason why Slade hasn't
worked in ten years. But then, like I googled Slade.
Hold on, let me pull this up.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, she did say that he had lost work because
of the bad things that tamar had said. And if
you just google it you could see.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
But I mean I googled it.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
And but what did he do before he came on
the show?
Speaker 1 (01:57):
I don't he was on the show. He's been on
the show multiple times. Yeah, but what was his different woman?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Okay, but okay, but what is his what is his
line of income? Like what does he do for a living?
Speaker 1 (02:10):
I don't know, because his first season, the first season
of Real Housewives Orange County, I think he worked in
was it a banking office.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Or real estate or it's a real estate or something.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Something like I don't even remember. But it says Slade Smiley,
who earned his fifteen minutes of fame on a reality show,
The Real Housewives Orange County, was arrested on a warrant
on Friday. Smiley thirty eight. I mean, this is obviously
so Old was arrested by Coasta Mason Police and the
twenty four hundred block of Eldon Avenue at about three pm. Smiley,
(02:42):
who starred with his ex girlfriend and the Bravo show
Date My Ex Joe and Slade, was later booked in
the County jail not paying child support. Oh yeah, so,
I mean it's it's out there on the world wide web.
I don't think it had anything to do with Tamera. Well,
I'm not trying to have tamers back, but.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
I think, look, I don't think you're unemployable if you
go on one of these shows. I think that going
on a show, any reality show, you're up for extra scrutiny.
And let's be honest, it's not you know.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
And if you're not paying your child support, it's going
to come out publicly.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, and then that's how you get in trouble. Yeah,
so alterly adds fuel to the fire. But I don't
think it's because of the show that you know you're
not working.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Yeah then Jen and well so either way, that's the
backstory there. So it kind of for me when it
comes to Gretchen, I'm like, this is fifty old. Like
I will say, oh, it's just too old.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
It's old and so old when no one cares anymore.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
No one cares a slade get a new job.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Or get a job. But it's not you know, and
I'm not being shady to slay, it's just if this
is what's going on, you know, Yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Mean, this is years and years ago, and this is
what they're holding on to.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
And I'm not judging. Believe me, I have no room
to judge. But you know, you can get a job
if that's the case. We can all get to get jumps.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Because that's but in my opinion, that's why he's so
invested in this whole story.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
I think he's been invested in the Housewives franchise, like
you said, with multiple women for a very long time.
And so it's not just this.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
I mean even when you flashback to one of the
reunions Andy, Andy, when he's like and he's like, well,
I mean you wouldn't be coming back because Joe's not on,
and he's like, well, I mean I'm the one that
chose not to come back, and he's like no, actually
yeah no.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
The men, and I've always said this, the men are
the accessory to the women. This is a show about
women and their relationships, rupture and repair and forgiveness, in
moving and friendship. Men are simply ornaments here, and that's
the way these shows are set up. Yeah, it's a
it's a girl's world.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I can't say this. Katie did admit to a lot
of things, like it was a pretty big deal that
yesterday she admitted she talked to the Bravo babe.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Okay, remember, well you're getting somewhere.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, so we got somewhere. So she admitted that I
have no idea what she what her conversation with Kiki
Monique was, But I don't I find it very shocking
that Kiki Monique, after all of these years, just found
out this story.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
So you think she's known about it?
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Well, I mean I've known about it, Oh you have Yeah? Oh,
I think anybody that has any sort of eyes that
can read gossip and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
Knew about the Gretchen situation.
Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, knew about the Gretchen situation. Not to mention it
was on the show that Naked Wasted. Yeah, and then
it came out all over the Internet and all over
the what can we say, blogger.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Sites or Instagram moments.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Instagram stories, it's I mean.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Did you see someone gave us shit for talking about this?
You do our bloggers. I was like, I'm not a blogger.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
I'm fine to be a blogger. Just call me a blogger,
but I can't type, Well, don't.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
I'm actually on this show, Like I I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
I'm certainly not going to call myself a journalist. That
gets thrown around.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
That us our journalistic.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
We're over here gossiping on the fucking internet.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yeah, so whatever, whatever, whatever you want to call it.
Then Jen and Katie meet for coffee.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Katie brought receipts with her and she shows her that
remember the lie detector guy?
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Ah?
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Is it actually paid actors? And she thinks that it
was set up by Gina and Emily. I mean, I
don't know. I mean, you're supposed to ask the questions.
I know, when the vander Pump thing broke out, we
didn't get to ask the questions. They were prepared for her.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Yeah, we didn't ask the questions. We didn't even know
what happened or was said until after the fact.
Speaker 2 (07:06):
That's right, Yeah, paid actors, like we brought this up earlier.
Looks a little like, is this guy the only guy
in town that we go to light detectors for? And
they're not a perfect science. E've been under the best
conditions with the best polygraphers ever.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Yeah, And I mean I think that whether or not
Katie is the one that told Kiki, I think Katie
did answer honestly when she said I heard the story
at dinner with Gretchen and Jen and everybody like this
and Jen is now she's driving me nuts.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Yeah, you're not liking Jen right now. And you didn't
like her the last time we sat down because you said,
why is Katie getting all the heat? Meanwhile, Jim was
there too, and.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Jen even on the after show the other day. She goes, just,
I know, I'm flip flopping around about stories, but it's
just to show that this is a repetitive action. She goes, uh, well,
I mean, who is Joe anyway? And it's like, one,
you know exactly who Joe is because you had a
(08:12):
problem with Joe being at Heather's party.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
Two, you know who Joe is because you've talked about
her multiple times, and three and she was your engagement party.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
And three you know who Joe is because you watched
the show.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah, you have been a fan.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
So yeah, let's not that's who Joe.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
Is, So don't let's not keep that's what bugs me.
Just stop attending that you don't know anything she is.
But I told I mean, I told Katie yesterday. I'm like,
Jenna is no friend to you.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
She isn't well, okay, so I don't know. I will
say this. You have to like say what you mean,
to mean what you say. It's interesting to me that
you found Katie reasonable. Yeah, but I didn't think you
were going to.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
I thought that I was gonna come on. I mean, granted,
there are parts of her that.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
I said reasonable, I didn't say fabulous.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Yeah, there are parts of her that she pauses when
she answers. But I think there's a lot of like
fear and anxiety she carries, and so she doesn't have
that like gumption when she comes forward and says something.
But I I didn't. I wasn't like, I was like
I could hang around this person.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
I'm stunned.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
I know. I think you could have too.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Don't speak for me. I can't hang around those bitches.
I was with it last night, and I get paid
to do that.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, that's true. But I feel like jenn is trying
to give this Like remember when Jessica Simpson was like, is.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Chicken out the sea? Is a fish? Are we getting
done blonde?
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Yeah? Well, I mean this is what I don't like.
I don't like it when the husband's and I realize that,
you know, I see Katie's husband giving interviews and shit
like that, like slathe all these meant ryan to involved,
to involved. This is this is a woman's show. Let
them carry their own weight, let them have their own fights,
(10:13):
let them do their own thing, you know, texting me
nine to one one, like is that even a thing? Like?
What is this? Nine one one? If you call me
nine one one, you better be dead.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
But the amount of times those two men talked.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Right like it they want the orange, I mean, they
want to hold the orange. At this point, they might
as well take one because and they should just yeah,
you might as well. They're doing a better job than
Sometimes the husband's slash boyfriends do better jobs than the women.
And it's clear that Slade and Katie's husband Matt.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Yeah, And I don't find it. I find it shocking
that we haven't seen a conversation between Jen and Ryan
talking about how Gretchen told them these things, because I
don't think Ryan would lie. Ryan would have been like,
well he did, they did tell us.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Maybe see now you're turning out to like Ryan. Okay,
look at that, Ryan, are you listening?
Speaker 1 (11:10):
Don't as Derek would say, don't speak for.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Me right exactly, But it seems as if you would
put more weight on what Ryan said as opposed to
the other two.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
And as opposed to Jen. Yeah, because I think Jenna's
just trying to navigate happy she's not there. I mean
because truthfully, if I thought that you were lying to
me and I and we were true friends, as close
to friends as they said that they were, you know,
they shared all these things about their life.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Dumb idea by the way, then wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
You say, like, have a little bit of like I
don't believe you, and I need to understand why I
don't why I don't write.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
You need to explain this to me.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
So I explained this to me. But I don't think
she can say that because she knows good and well
she was at that dinner. Yeah, and unless she had
earplugs in but whatever, Well.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
It just feels like a whole thing too, And then
Matt was saying, they're trying to take Tamra down. What
do you all of a sudden like Tamra. Yeah, I
swear to god, it was a design to take Tamra down.
You like Tamra. I thought Tamar was the devil like
two weeks ago. It's I know, I'm just a little
(12:26):
it's a bad day, you know.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
No, it was a bad To be honest, this episode
bugged me. Well, I mean as much as a croissant
at the beach would have bugged me.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
The receipts. We know this and we know Okay, so
Katie knows that Jen her Gretchen say she went to
the hospital. Katie said she would die on that. What
did she say yesterday?
Speaker 1 (12:59):
She said this same thing. She said, I told Monique
things about me, but I did not tell her that
bit of information.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Why and Katie, why are you telling Kiki Monique anything
about you?
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Because she talks to people. She admitted to talking to
the Bravo babe.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
This is not a good idea. Guys. Yeah, don't talk to.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Anybody, don't go to lunches, don't talk about.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Talk, don't talk about the show. You get this is
how this is.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
How we get where we are right now?
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Okay, Gina shows up to Matt and Britt's house. Uh.
Britt is Gina's ex husband's wife, and Gina has a
great relationship with her. And Matt had a heart attack
last week, and Gina tells Britt that she saved Matt's life,
which I find this wonderful, And I was confused for
a second. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Well, I thought this might be an audition for Britt
Britt to join the cast.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Well maybe, right, So who's getting the axe? Oh?
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Who do you think would get the ax? No?
Speaker 2 (13:59):
You know more about their shit that I I don't.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Know, but I think they need something else. They need
somebody else. So all the women are now a lot
of a lot, don't say all the women. A couple
of women have said they refuse to go back and
film if Katie is still on the show. But yet
Katie's going to be at the reunion.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Yeah, but that you have to do that.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah, you have to do that.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
I have to do that.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Then they're not I don't, like Gina said publicly, I'm
not going back to the show if Katie comes back.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Okay, Well, let's see's how that plays out.
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Yeah, let's see how that goes for you.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Let's see how that goes.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
But it is sad that Matt had a heart attack.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, what's going on. He's a young man, He's a
young man.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Well, Gina said that he needs to start taking care
of himself.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
What is Brit saying?
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Britt didn't really say anything like that. Britt was just
kind of there.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
And being supportive. I like it that Gina's friends with
her ex husband and his new wife.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Yeah. I think it shows it's a very.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Modern way of like taking care of things and listen,
if you can move on and be peaceful, fabulous.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
Yeah, great, better for the kids, It's better for everybody,
especially with how dramatic their past was. So that must
mean Birth's a pretty good person.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Rit seems like she's very understanding, to say the least.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
Yeah for sure. Uh. Then Jen, Tamer, and Heather meet
up for lunch. Jen tells them that Katie thinks it
was all a setup. Jen, I wish the setup thing.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
I don't like, the whole shows is set up. You're
fool part of this are You've just coming to realize
the whole fucking thing is.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
This is a setup. Let me give you the.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
Let me let me tell you something.
Speaker 1 (15:43):
This show is set up. Jen and Tamra talked through
some of their issues. Tamar tells Jen that things don't
get deep unless you really care about someone, and Tamara
really does care about Jen.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Okay, well that's your friend.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
Well, listen, I haven't talked to her about this. I
don't know that she knows that I'm about to be
going and hard for Gen thinking Jen's pretending all over
the place.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
Well, that's a conversation. I can't wait to see the
two of you have you know, that's that's deep.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Jen says she wants to move forward, and then Heather
takes a selfie with Jen and Tamor in the back.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Which is hilarious because even tamer noses, I mean even
Heather noses, yeah, it's leading the best.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
I mean, we love to get resolution and movement on Housewives,
but like, do we think this is that?
Speaker 2 (16:33):
No? Not really, No, I.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Didn't think it. You didn't think it for a second.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
No. Then Emily, Gina and Shannon are shopping. Emily tells
them about her call with Jen.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Jen told her that Katie thinks, guess what a setup.
It's just I guess setup. I mean, the only part
from this scene that I was paying attention to is Emily.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
The only the only part for me is Emily and
this child, and I am just I'm and I'm calling
heart goes out to her because you know, I know,
and then she's having problems with Shane and just sucks.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
They're just trying to get through it, and I think
she's probably even more emotional about it than she's even
able to let on.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
She's really trying to keep it together that they are
as a family, you know how it is? Yeah, I mean,
and you guys, when you do one of these shows,
and yes it's about your life, but there's you're still
trying to put your best foot forward and not fall apart.
And I know Emily's in a lot of pain, and
I just feel badly for her.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
That sucks so bad, I know, And I hope they
haven't they get something.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
They get some answers, me too, I hope they get
So if anybody's listening and it's got some answers, yeah,
good or good referral, Yeah, please reach to reach out
to her.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Katie and her husband Matt talk. Matt shows the amount
of calls he had with.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Slaves again, Orange Holders.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Orange Holders, Katie saying slave job for ten years is
being Gretchen's bitch. Is the energy she needs to bring
to the reunion, Like that's what we need from her.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Yeah, if that's where we're going, that's where you need
to stay. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
I mean even yesterday when she took the picture of us,
she wrote, just guys, I talked to a blogger and
it was me picture of her, Like, that's what I
want from her, Like she's got a little like, yeah,
she's got a little fire. She just needs to be
able to bring it with the other women. But I
think she Something else that she said was, you know,
she was like I was adopted. I had a lot
(18:45):
of feelings of wanting to be liked. I'm a people pleaser,
I you know, I want all these things. So I
think that she really is stuck. She said she cried
for weeks and weeks about her relationship with Jen.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Here. Here, here's what I don't know, Katie. But I
do understand like wanting to be liked in a group
of women. No I don't.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
I was like, you what, well.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I don't, But I understand how it could feel like that,
and I do understand needing to have some sort of
friendship with someone in here, and there isn't one, and
there's not one. They've viced her out and look for
a good reason, like I'm not gonna sit over here
like I but.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
No, what else I didn't really realize what? So you
know how they said that Katie sent the video to Alexis.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Yes, no, she just told her the story, same thing,
but still beat, it's still the same, still bad, it's
not the same. I mean, look, it's not not good.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
It's not good.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
It's not good. You don't get a pass.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
You don't get a pass.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Don't do not get a pass because you shouldn't be
doing that anyway. And you know the video. You should
not be videoing anybody anyway, shouldn't be talking about that
two people. Certain things you just don't do.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
But it did seem more malicious to me when I
thought she sent that video.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
Yes, I thought that. Even that's even more weight on it. Yeah,
I'm glad she didn't send it, but you still don't
need to be taking the video, sending it to your husband,
or talking about it to anybody. You see the trouble
it got you in don't do it.
Speaker 1 (20:19):
Yeah, that's true. Then the girls show up for Jin's
beach day, Tamra brings Joe.
Speaker 2 (20:26):
Geez. Was that a setup? Was all these setups?
Speaker 1 (20:32):
But like, come on, Gretchen, why do you even care
about Joe? I'm I'm gonna try to look through this.
Did Joe say anything?
Speaker 2 (20:40):
I thought she was reasonable.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
I don't think Joe.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Yeah, Joe was cool.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
She was just the show up. She showed up, just
like the couple other gals. We didn't hear say any words.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
No, it's fine, Yeah, it.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Is what it is.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
What is good news Friday? Is it like good Friday
like before Easter?
Speaker 1 (20:56):
No? I think they were just trying to have come
up with one of those stupid games. It's like, so
it was good News Friday. Half the girls don't play
maybe shon. I love that.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Jen's son was out there doing it. He seems to
be a really sweet kid.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
No. I liked all two right, Yeah, I liked him.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Yeah, he seems sweet, and you know, he was showing
everybody how to serve and whatever.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Some of them gave it a go, some of them
didn't per usual.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
You know how those group events.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
Those groups of make Erica go do I know, Eric,
do everything I know?
Speaker 2 (21:32):
This car around to medieval town Erica. They okay, sure
got it, of.
Speaker 1 (21:39):
Course doing got it, but they all share their good news.
Heather calls, but yeah, you're right. Why did Heather call it?
It must have been Friday Friday.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
It was a Friday, good news Friday.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
Give me good news Friday, because today is Friday.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Well, I almost said somewhere I can't get back back.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Then we get Tamra asking Gretchen why she told her
and Shannon in the car that she did go to
the hospital, and then we get that flashback again.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
I should have gone to the hospital.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
I also heard that if you clench your I think
it's your butthole.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Yeah, while you're.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Taking a light detective test, you'll pass.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
I was not expecting this.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
I now I'm scared.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
I think I heard that if you put like thumbtacks
in your shoes, you'll pass.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
See. So it's there might be something to it.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Who knows who?
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Who knows? But this is where they lose me in
this story. There's no pushback. You don't misspeak about whether
or not you've gone to.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
The hospital, like you either did go or you didn't.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Yeah, so how do you misspeak? Don't try to flip
it around.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Now, yeah you can't. You can say, oh yeah I misspoke,
but did you I don't know. I just the whole
thing about it. Here's the thing. Someone lost their job
on Atlanta for saying something about drugging someone. This to me,
in my opinion, and you can fucking come for me
as much as you want. This in my opinion, is
(23:32):
closely in the same lane. Like you can't do this
kind of shit. It's just not okay. So you did
go to the hospital or you didn't or roofie, Like
we can't do that, like that.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Did you say roofed? Or drug? Do you know? Like
none of it matters.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
But also it's also not great because you can't you
can say things like that. That's a big accusation.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
That's a huge accusation.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
It's a huge accusation. And then to not have like
definitive answers.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
No definitive answers. I don't care that you passed a
light detector test.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Fuck the light detector test.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Yeah, like I don't care that you passed it.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
I was just the whole the whole thing is for me,
Like this is not what Housewives is about drugging people like.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Will come on, I was watching somebody's Yeah your own.
But then Tamra and Gretchen go to the chairs to talk.
Gretchen Tamra go tip for tat, going through each other
and all the things that have happened. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
and nothing really happens.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Because it's never going to because it's not supposed to.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
It's old news.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
It's not good news. It's old news.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
And then Tamra said she already apologized to Slade. Gretchen
wants Tamar to apologize for calling Slade a deadbeat dad.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Well, he did get arrested for non payment, so I
mean that is a fact. Yeah, so so look, is
it insult to injury? Yeah, but is it all so true? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (25:03):
But she did apologize, So so if that's what you wanted,
you gotch apology.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
Now. Now, let's never ever talk about it again, right
like it's dead and buried.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
We're done. We're done talking about it. I mean, I
really hope we're done talking about it.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
In the Okay, do you believed Tamar like when she
grabbed her hand and said how sorry she was and
that you know it affected her, you know how do
you think I think that at this point you're very
close to Tamors, So what do you think.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
I think at this point, Tamor's probably sick of talking
about this too. Yeah, okay, great, I mean how could
you not.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
Be Well, I'm sick of it and it doesn't even
evolve me. It has nothing to do with us, and
we're sick of talking about it, and so the audience
must be sicker.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Yeah, and the cast much must be the sickest. Yes,
Like it's just one. It's the same thing over and
over and over and over. Like, give us a break,
give us a break.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
The skipping and holding hands. Uh, cheesy. Shannon doesn't think
it'll last, and I don't either, Shannon, I agree with you.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
No.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Then Shannon's daughter Sophie arrives and they all share their
worst breakup stories.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
To cheer Sophie up, which I thought was cute.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
You did.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
It wasn't bad. I mean it's kind of like, you know,
Sophie was crying and everybody's been there.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, everybody's been there. You know. Some of the stories
were good stories and made you laugh in the summer.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
Yeah, depressing depressing, Yeah, wells can be depressing.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Then we get the mid season trailer, Shannon's drinking being
questioned again, Tamar meeting up with Katie and Emily telling
Gretchen it was to get info on her, and then
Gretchen sharing a salacious rumor about Tamar, Tamar shouting fuck
you and Gretchen's face, and then the Amsterdam trip where
something happens at the end for Gretchen to be upset,
and the whole group questioning things.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Do you know what this is all about?
Speaker 1 (26:53):
I don't you do. No, I don't fully know because
you have to remember I was in the hospital when
all this was opening. Yeah, so I don't really know.
That's not like me.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Yeah, I don't read a laugh, but that's.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Yeah, normally I would have been on the horn.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
How do you know all that?
Speaker 1 (27:12):
But yeah, so I don't really know what's going on
with all this, but I feel like we've got at
least there's going to be some movement. But now I
think now I think we were Katie's out. Wow, I
think we might see one more scene of Katie and
then she's done.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
Until did she leave or did they make her leave?
Was it a mutual agreement? What happened?
Speaker 1 (27:34):
She wanted to stay, but there was no one willing
to film with her. I don't think. I think only
one person was willing to film with her. Okay, so
apparently what she told me yesterday was she wanted to
go on the cast trip, but production wouldn't let her
because they said it would be in her best interest
not to go.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
I can read that so many different ways.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
I know, I've never even heard.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
I've never heard that.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
I've never heard that.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Maybe you should set this one out for your own good.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Oh really, that's how it works.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
I mean maybe I should have sat out something, yeah, right,
like I should have sat out two weeks ago, but
uh I didn't.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
Didn't, didn't, didn't. So hopefully this kind of picks up
and it keeps it moving a little bit.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
Yeah. I mean, the one thing about Orange County that
I do have to say, and I know we're over
here like just being shady today, but they do really.
I mean, it's petty, it's repetitive, but somehow or another
that I'm entertained. Yeah, I know that wat it means
we're just like everybody else, That's what it means. It
means we're just like everybody else watching this shit like
(28:41):
you know, we bitch about it, but.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Yeah, we still watch it again, still watch it again.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Yeah. So you know, to everybody out there who's listening,
we're just like you.
Speaker 1 (28:48):
Yeah, we're just like you. We're just you know, we're irritated,
but we but we love it.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
We're irritated, but we love it. We're frustrated, but we
love it. I appreciate the women for putting it all
out there and entertaining us.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
And I wish some of them would put a little
bit more out there, and I hope that they do.
As this season.
Speaker 2 (29:03):
Progresses, we'll see what happens.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Thanks for tuning in for another episode of Diamonds in
the Rough.
