I took a big trip with Slate only for that
riding thing. But this trip to my dad's was like
all the kids, yeah, not just mine but also my sisters,
and I mean it was NonStop. Plus my dad can't
stand any mess or if one thing moves, he's like, hey,

did somebody move the couch? And then he makes like
all of us, that's a thousand pound couch.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
That's how I move it.

But then he's wrong and we haven't moved it because
then we can see a spot that it's been sitting
there the entire time.

I'm like, that's exactly how I And we had my
mom and her boyfriend at her house for Fourth of
July and Big Bear, and of course Eddie's like, bring
the dog, bring the dogs. The dog came and the
dogs were running around crazy, wrestling constantly, and I'm like,
wrestling wrastling, and I'm like, there's a spot on the carpet,

I mean on the floor, there's this or that over there.
I'm over here cleaning everything. I'm like a nut when
it comes to that kind of stuff. So I totally
get where your dad's coming from.

Well, then I told him, I said, listen, if you
want to keep inviting us on these trips, you have
to realize that we have one jillion children, and it's
not always going to be immaculate, especially like because they
want to get in the pool eighty six times and
they've decided they're done, and then they're like, hey, can
we go swimming? And I'm like, I just gave you

a do you have to anything but that? But you know,
it was pretty challenging, and you know, guys, sorry, I
want to apologize to our listeners. I had to cancel
last week or two weeks ago when we were doing
the POD, I was having some medical stuff and then
I was pretty much struggling up until we left, and

then they put me on a new medication and it
helped a little bit. So I would say half the
trip was amazing and half the trip was pretty horrible
because I felt so I mean, people are like, oh,
we saw that you did this on Instagram. I'm like, yeah,
that's three hours of a full day.

I know, I know, people forget that there's like other
parts of the day that aren't on the Gram. I
was like, by the fact that I post so much
less should tell you not feeling okay okay.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
So a lot of people will say to me, Teddy's
doing great. I had this conversation yes day with Michelle
because she was she did some extensions in my hair,
so thank you, and so she said, you know, so
many of my clients were like, God, Teddy's doing so good.
I'm so happy for her, and I go, I know
people say that to me all the time, and it's like,

you see her on Instagram for thirty seconds. Everyone's like,
she's perfect.

Yeah. I mean, it's it's I'm trying to be as
positive as I can and do as many things as
my body tells me that I can do. But when
I went back to something I didn't realize that happened
with immunotherapy. First off, I want to apologize to anybody
that's in any kind of like healthcare situation where they

don't have additional people to help them. Get things done.
I mean we even have talked about it, like even
just getting your medications, all of those things. We've talked
about it in regards to Amazon and things like that
that have delivery services now that come right to your door.
But I seriously have felt like in like a desperate

way to get things done. And I'm like like how
well people, Yeah, like overwhelmed, Like I'm like waiting for
this medication to come, or waiting for this or oh no,
insurance doesn't cover it until tomorrow, you can pick it
up tomorrow, and like all those types of things. So
leading up to the trip was a little bit stressful
because I guess what immune therapy does, is it, you know,

kind of comes at your system. And so now I've
developed something with my thyroid and I think it's hypo
I'm not a doctor, guys, but hypothyroidism. So we couldn't
figure out why I was feeling so low, and it
was because when you have that and all of a sudden.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
You have yeah, it's slowly on synthroid. Yes, yeah, so
I'm on synthroid because you are. I have the same thing.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
That's so wild, like and I had no and I've
never had and I've had my thyroid checked a million
times because of course, you know when back before I
had sickness stuff, I was like, maybe something's wrong.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
With Why can't I lose two pounds? It must be
my thyroid.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
It's my thyroid. But no, now I actually have it.
And then come to find out, so does my sister.
But she's had it, you know, forever.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Does she have hyper hypo or hype?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, hypo. We both have hypo. But she's been been
on medication for a couple of years. She's feeling better.
She also gave me some different soups and things to
eat that help with the situation. And I've you know,
changed the only thing I haven't given up. Folks, not
ready cheers to diet coke.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Diet coke.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
You know what. I blame the hospital for the diet
coke addiction.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I blame Cayden. I didn't drink diet coke for twenty years,
twenty years, maybe even longer. And yesterday we went Sophia
and I went and had typhood, and I ordered the
diet coke and she goes, I'll have one too. I go, who,
you're drinking diet coke? And she's like, yes, I blame Caiden.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
You know what, I'll blame Kayden too, just because it
seems more fair, because I think I already blamed the
doctors for how hard it is for me to get
my prescriptions and feel good. So Caden is going to
have to take the hit on that. Cayden is one
of our producers on the show.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I give them drinking diet coke. Found them and I
was like, you shouldn't do that, It's horrible for you.
And then all of a sudden, I hang out with them,
I'm drinking dit coke, and now I like, I can't
quit it. I can't. I can't quit her.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
But we can still be judgmental about other people drinking
diet coke, even though we do it ourselves.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
I draw the line at doctor Pepper. No one around
me is allowed to drink doctor Pepper, diet doctor Pepper,
doctor Penny Peppers.

Know when I draw the line at what Mountain dew?

Oh, that's brutal. That is brutal. So how was John Mellencamp.

I think it's really hard being in a place where,
you know, I kind of am in denial of where
I am physically and when other people are not in denial,
it's it's hard, you know, Like my sister gets emotional
when she sees me and cries my little brother, who
like it's so beyond you know, which has in the

spec he painted like a beautiful picture of me and
my sister, And like just watching him do it, he's
so natural about it, like he just goes at it
and like he did it from you know, obviously he
did it from scratch, but like he did it with
us sitting there, So he did it in three days
because and we were I only was able to sit
in the chair for like an hour a day, and
like he nailed it. But like watching that makes me emotional.

My family wants to have like the hard conversations, yeah,
and I don't, which is not rough. They want to
talk about things like the future or medically exactly how
I'm doing, And like I don't want to talk about it.

No, it's not just yeah, I don't want to talk
about it with you either.

For the record, No you don't. I have to like

I know when you're not feeling well is when you're

Yeah, that's your way of tracking. I know I'm not
feeling well when I can't text at all. That is
because your vision or so my vision, which is weird
even with glasses, it doesn't help my vision or like
you can tell today, like see how shaking my hands
are yes, But then it gets so annoying to try

to text because then that stupid ziggy thing pops up
and then it wants to be a big pee.

and said, hey, guys, we're scheduling reunion. Do any of

Sadly, I think she will be back. And then I'm

think you need a girl.

I don't think so. I think how quickly the tides

I did. I interviewed with Sheena and Keiki Monique today
and Kiki was talking about how you guys chat a

how you still really have your wits about you and
you have your humor about you, and you guys had
a conversation. I don't know how Ria is probably old
about Rayah.

Oh yeah, because Riah she something about listed. I never
got into Riyah.

My sister said it was something like quarter of an
inch in a month? Is how long your hair? I'm
trying to figure out. I can tell you I, Oh,
am I going to need my hair done in October

Okay? So I you know I had that brow lift
back in August and for a good month after that
there was no hair. None That were my incisions where
the hair would not grow back. So month it started
to grow back, and now it's like this long?

Really? Yeah, So are you taking neutrophil?

I was, But I take I take so many supplements
and stuff and sometimes it's like, well you have to
take four of them. So how many prescription pills you on?

I'm on zero narcotics, but I'm on probably sixteen medications?
I would say if I like, look at the but
it's like, you know, anti seizure medication, this medica blah blah.

Blah, like it's what medication did they recently? You don't
have to answer this, but they recently changed or switched that.

That was the hypoth oh, the one they recently switched
because it was making me sick. Yeah, no, that was
just the hypothyroid. Oh. And guys, I know that we're
supposed to be talking about secret lives of Mormon wives,
but now we're you know what, we're talking about my
medical issues. Yeah. So I kept telling them from freaking

day one of being in the hospital. They said to me,
do you want a catheter? And I was like, well,
I don't know when I'm gonna pee, so probably. So
they put a catheter and there they're like this could
cause problems later. Granted there's like eighty six different doctors
that worked on me because I was like a weird case.
So ever since then, I was like, guys, I think

I have a UTI and they're like, nope, it's not
showing up in your labs, and like I'm not going
on and checking my paperwork, like I don't know labs.
So this last time I went in again and I
was like, guys, I'm telling you I have a UTI.
The doctors are like, no, you don't. And then my
friend Kelly looked at my labs and She's like, Teddy,

you've had a UTI since you've been in the hospital.

Oh my gosh, that's horrible.

So it had turned into something that was like really
making me sick.

Well, I mean, I think I told the story before,
but you were in the hospital and they wanted you
to get up to the bathroom and you're like, Nope,
can't do it, Nope, nope, nope. And they're like, well,
we don't want to keep putting a catheter in you
because you could get an infection.

Guess what I did? Yeah, and then you oh and
then they put me on the steroids again. So I
was all revved.

I was all roided out for eight days. Eight days
of roiding out. Speaking of vroided out, know who I
didn't like even after this. I thought this was going
to be his redemption.

Yeah, I think it's tough shoes to fill. I mean,
Andy Cohne's been doing it for so long, and I
know there's been other shows that have reunions, and no
matter who the host is, they're always being compared to
Andy Cohen who is and you got to learn it
takes a learning car.

I mean, she's probably going to get better and better
at it, and I don't know any other male that
could have probably gone in and done a better job
than him. Yeah, unless you're going to go for somebody.
He's really going to go after these ladies and I
don't think they can take it.

Well, I think it was because to me, was like
biting her nails and like filing them and like doing

natural setting to share such a traumatic thing in life.

riding thing. But this trip to my dad's was like

stand any mess or if one thing moves, he's like, hey,

all of us, that's a thousand pound couch.

But then he's wrong and we haven't moved it because
then we can see a spot that it's been sitting

I'm like, that's exactly how I And we had my
mom and her boyfriend at her house for Fourth of

the dog, bring the dogs. The dog came and the
dogs were running around crazy, wrestling constantly, and I'm like,

I'm over here cleaning everything. I'm like a nut when
it comes to that kind of stuff. So I totally
get where your dad's coming from.

Well, then I told him, I said, listen, if you
want to keep inviting us on these trips, you have
to realize that we have one jillion children, and it's
not always going to be immaculate, especially like because they
want to get in the pool eighty six times and
they've decided they're done, and then they're like, hey, can
we go swimming? And I'm like, I just gave you

a do you have to anything but that? But you know,
it was pretty challenging, and you know, guys, sorry, I
want to apologize to our listeners. I had to cancel
last week or two weeks ago when we were doing
the POD, I was having some medical stuff and then
I was pretty much struggling up until we left, and

then they put me on a new medication and it
helped a little bit. So I would say half the
trip was amazing and half the trip was pretty horrible
because I felt so I mean, people are like, oh,
we saw that you did this on Instagram. I'm like, yeah,
that's three hours of a full day.

I know, I know, people forget that there's like other
parts of the day that aren't on the Gram. I
was like, by the fact that I post so much
less should tell you not feeling okay okay.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
So a lot of people will say to me, Teddy's
doing great. I had this conversation yes day with Michelle
because she was she did some extensions in my hair,
so thank you, and so she said, you know, so
many of my clients were like, God, Teddy's doing so good.
I'm so happy for her, and I go, I know
people say that to me all the time, and it's like,

you see her on Instagram for thirty seconds. Everyone's like,
she's perfect.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yeah. I mean, it's it's I'm trying to be as
positive as I can and do as many things as
my body tells me that I can do. But when
I went back to something I didn't realize that happened
with immunotherapy. First off, I want to apologize to anybody
that's in any kind of like healthcare situation where they
(03:40):
don't have additional people to help them. Get things done.
I mean we even have talked about it, like even
just getting your medications, all of those things. We've talked
about it in regards to Amazon and things like that
that have delivery services now that come right to your door.
But I seriously have felt like in like a desperate
(04:03):
way to get things done. And I'm like like how
well people, Yeah, like overwhelmed, Like I'm like waiting for
this medication to come, or waiting for this or oh no,
insurance doesn't cover it until tomorrow, you can pick it
up tomorrow, and like all those types of things. So
leading up to the trip was a little bit stressful
because I guess what immune therapy does, is it, you know,
(04:25):
kind of comes at your system. And so now I've
developed something with my thyroid and I think it's hypo
I'm not a doctor, guys, but hypothyroidism. So we couldn't
figure out why I was feeling so low, and it
was because when you have that and all of a sudden.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
You have yeah, it's slowly on synthroid. Yes, yeah, so
I'm on synthroid because you are. I have the same thing.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
That's so wild, like and I had no and I've
never had and I've had my thyroid checked a million
times because of course, you know when back before I
had sickness stuff, I was like, maybe something's wrong.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
With Why can't I lose two pounds? It must be
my thyroid.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
It's my thyroid. But no, now I actually have it.
And then come to find out, so does my sister.
But she's had it, you know, forever.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Does she have hyper hypo or hype?
Speaker 1 (05:21):
Yeah, hypo. We both have hypo. But she's been been
on medication for a couple of years. She's feeling better.
She also gave me some different soups and things to
eat that help with the situation. And I've you know,
changed the only thing I haven't given up. Folks, not
ready cheers to diet coke.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Diet coke.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
You know what. I blame the hospital for the diet
coke addiction.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I blame Cayden. I didn't drink diet coke for twenty years,
twenty years, maybe even longer. And yesterday we went Sophia
and I went and had typhood, and I ordered the
diet coke and she goes, I'll have one too. I go, who,
you're drinking diet coke? And she's like, yes, I blame Caiden.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
You know what, I'll blame Kayden too, just because it
seems more fair, because I think I already blamed the
doctors for how hard it is for me to get
my prescriptions and feel good. So Caden is going to
have to take the hit on that. Cayden is one
of our producers on the show.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I give them drinking diet coke. Found them and I
was like, you shouldn't do that, It's horrible for you.
And then all of a sudden, I hang out with them,
I'm drinking dit coke, and now I like, I can't
quit it. I can't. I can't quit her.

But we can still be judgmental about other people drinking
diet coke, even though we do it ourselves.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
I draw the line at doctor Pepper. No one around
me is allowed to drink doctor Pepper, diet doctor Pepper,
doctor Penny Peppers.

Know when I draw the line at what Mountain dew?

Oh, that's brutal. That is brutal. So how was John Mellencamp.

I think it's really hard being in a place where,
you know, I kind of am in denial of where
I am physically and when other people are not in denial,
it's it's hard, you know, Like my sister gets emotional
when she sees me and cries my little brother, who
like it's so beyond you know, which has in the

my sister, And like just watching him do it, he's
so natural about it, like he just goes at it
and like he did it from you know, obviously he
did it from scratch, but like he did it with
us sitting there, So he did it in three days
because and we were I only was able to sit
in the chair for like an hour a day, and
like he nailed it. But like watching that makes me emotional.

My family wants to have like the hard conversations, yeah,
and I don't, which is not rough. They want to
talk about things like the future or medically exactly how

on and checking my paperwork, like I don't know labs.
So this last time I went in again and I
was like, guys, I'm telling you I have a UTI.
The doctors are like, no, you don't. And then my

like you open yourself up to things like that and
then all of a sudden, you know, you're plain victim

Then Jace, Michaela's husband share his story. Jay says he
was fired due to the mom Talk drama. Now he's
a stay at home dad to support Mikaela.

But then the family business.

No, But then they found out that the family business
had been taken over by somebody else, and that's the
person that fired him, not even his family business. His
family business was in trouble. So then another I'm going
to use creditor, whomever it was, came in and took
over the business and then gave him the boot. So
it wasn't like his dad fired him. And then Connor

opens up about his porn addiction, which I thought was
very moving, But I also was very confused because they
keep saying tender, But originally I thought it was grinder
or did I just make that up in my head? Oh,
I guess it's always been tender on the show. But
I'm a little bit curious, in.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Your mind it was grinder. In my mind, it was
speculated that it was grinder. That's what it was because
people were saying that he had.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
The Internet is saying grinder, and Secret Lives Mormon Wives
is saying it's tender. But then so we get a
couple of things. So first we get, you know, we
get a lot of people sharing their inside stories. We
also get Layelah's story. Yes about another.

Story that we didn't get to see on the season.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Well, I think it was because to me, was like
biting her nails and like filing them and like doing
her hair, Like she was not paying attention to the
story at all. Plus I'm not sure that I would
share like it just it didn't feel I know what
she's saying is authentic, but it didn't feel like a
natural setting to share such a traumatic thing in life.

And so I think that's why that didn't get aired.

Did go to social media and posted pictures as well
of her scarring on her legs and stuff.

It's really sad. But the fact that that's another thing, Like,
let's dig into some of these additional stories. I don't
need to see them fighting over Dakota every year.

These are the type of stories that help people, you know,
when you put your story out there. And yes, it's
fun to see the fighting and the arguing and the cattiness,
but it's also good to see like authentic stories that
people can relate to and be like, Okay, I'm not
the only one. I would have to give Taylor like props,
like she admits when she did something wrong. She's compassionate

when somebody's upset, she can dish it out and she
can take it like. She's very well rounded. She's good TV.

She's good TV. And she also, I don't know, she's
likable even when she does something shitty. I still like.

Yeah. And then we get back to more Jesse and
Marciano their situation where Nick flat out asks her did
you sleep with them? And she's like, no, but I
just want to open up about my story to help
other people. And then Marciano and the scenes for next

season reveals he was manipulated and wants to take a
lie detector test.

He was manipulated? How how was he manipulated?

He didn't know what a clam show was on the.

Then that's when we get to Whitney talking about her
own mom talk, and then Demi and Jesse have a
one on one sit down. Do we think that Demi
and Jesse are going to make up? I hope not.

I don't. That would be a tough one for me
to make up with somebody that did that shitty, like
to like try to get her off the show and
to get more money and things like that, like that's
not a friend and and I don't even know really

That's the thing. But know who has been friends the
entire time and we haven't mentioned her name once, Miranda.

you're very cute. You see when you do talk. I
don't have a problem with what you're saying. I just
want more of it.

Because I can't make these kind of decisions. I mean,
all I've seen of her is her ex husband, who
I really disliked.

I mean, then Layla came out of her hill a
little bit towards the end. I don't bringing on Marciano.

Layla got her her producer credit on this season.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
Yeah, and her I liked her dress too, was really
pretty on her. I couldn't wearrace it.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
Yeah. I mean, they're a lot younger than us, Tim,
I think a lot. I think they're a lot older
than me. But I wonder how long until we get
to see this third season that they're talking about, this
entire reunion September. We get it in September.
