Speaker 1 (00:02):
To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and camera Judge.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of Too Teas in
a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp and camera Judge.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
I'm so bummed. We were supposed to be together. We
were supposed to have a little sleepover last night, I know,
and then do the pod today and then do Carlos King,
which Carlos King Interview with Me podcast got canceled, And
then I was feeling a little bit under the weather,
and I don't want you know, obviously, I don't want
to get you sick after you just got better.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Well, the crazy thing is, even though I just got better,
I still feel like shit, really absolute shit.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Well, I mean, I had to break it to you,
but you're going through a lot of shit right now.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
It's I mean, I was telling Erica yesterday, I was like,
I can't even I don't know. I can't get out
of it. You can't.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
You can't catch a break.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
When you were like feeling depressed. What kind of finally
pumped you out of it?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
You know what you did? Honestly, Like, you know, obviously
the first half of the show, I was just so
devastating and so worried about you and having a film
and hold the pod down and not getting much sleep
and all that stuff. I was I just I couldn't.
I couldn't. The doctor wanted to put me on medication
to get me out of it. And then I finally
had a breaking point where I just broke and I cried.

(01:35):
I left New Orleans. I came home. I saw you.
You told me, like, snap out of it, and just
your strength and everything you were going through. You know, guys,
this was in the beginning when you, you know, had
gotten out of the hospital and you in the thick
of it right there, and I just said, you know what,

(01:56):
Teddy gave me strength. You're not going to feel like
this anymore. Get your ass back out there and just
push those feelings down. And I did, you know, in
my situation different than yours. You're you're living it day
to day, and you know, and I can only imagine
what you're going through in the sense of mental health
because you're such an active person and to have to

(02:18):
be at home so much, and the one time you
do go out, do you get COVID? You get COVID.
Like I'm like, God, really come on Is that a
sick joke?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
I mean I may have already had it. I mean,
who knows it's going around. It's going like everybody's getting
sick right now, so like who knows.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
It's definitely going around.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
So, but I can tell you that packs lovid is
tastes so disgusting.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I've never taken it. I've gotten COVID so many times,
and Eddie calls me one of those what's called long
long something long long term long whatever it is, Like
every four months, I'll get like something really bad, like
when you got hospitalized. Immediately I got sick. I couldn't
stop cougheing. My lungs were bad. I got I didn't
have COVID, but I would. I just get like these

(03:05):
chest situations.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
We have that where like when life is kind of
hitting the fan, then like our body goes to sickness
because I think our immune system is down and it
just doesn't know how to cope. Yeah, why are you
going to New York? What's the what's the phone one?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
So I am going to New York to do watch
what happens li tby the last time for the season
I'll be doing. I would imagine it's my second time.
I am doing an episode where I flip grutching off
in the face, like I'll be on with Adriana. I
don't know that I've met her before. I might have,

(03:44):
you know, you meet so many people at Bravakhan and
things like that, but she's not somebody that I talked
to on social media. I don't have we ever had
her on the pod?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
I think I know, but you should be getting her.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yeah, I want to get her on the pod. I'm
I'm excited to meet her. It's their season finale of Miami.
Can you believe Miami is almost done?

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I can't believe it.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
And I feel like it just started.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Well because nothing really has happened, like honestly, yeah, you know,
you're after watching a couple of other show. I mean,
it's been on for three months, and especially like I
went and watched Salt Lake City or even watching Orange County.
There's just such a big difference, and normally I love it,

(04:31):
So I don't know. I mean, do you guys agree
with me as Miami? Was it not as good this year? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:38):
I feel like, you know, I always like the girls
and I like every single one of them, and me too,
was it just wasn't. Sometimes it's explosive years sometimes there's not.
It all depends on what's going on in everybody's life.
Did you interview maybe Adriana at BRAVOCN I did, okay.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Yeah, yeah, I met her at Bravo Con and I
think it was just like one of the when we
had our party. I think it was just like one
of those little quick ones.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
I will say, it's not a bad season by any means.
It's just not packed full of you know, drama.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah, it's just not the most amazing.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yeah, it's not a jaw dropper because it's stuff. But
that's also why, I you know, when things play out
on social media first and we already know too much,
it's not as interesting.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Yeah, so I got you know, I'm going darker with
my hair, slowly, slowly, so it's not shock on me.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
As the world turns, as the real turns.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
So I yesterday I had darker extensions in my hair
to match my roots. Took my extensions out that I
had in my hair is so thin, Teddy.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
How many strands do you have?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
I have?

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Like my hair thicker?

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Your hairs thicker? You're oh no, you're the base of
your hair is way thicker than my hair. I have
seven strands of hair left. I'm actually concerned, Like I'm
literally concerned. I'll show you a picture. I have more
than seven. But it's just maybe I don't know if
it's seventeen. Maybe it's because you're so used to do
you know when you have extensions?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yeah, and then they take it out and it's like,
how long?

Speaker 3 (06:04):
How long before you think you're going to get them
put in?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
You know, I think it's I'm going to be a minute.
I don't know that I need to see those little
things coming through.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
And that when did Brittany get them put in?

Speaker 2 (06:14):
She got them put them pretty quickly. This length.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
I think, well, do you know that the pixie cut
is really in style right now?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Well, I've gotten kind of used to the pixie cut.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
I think, thank God, you're beautiful. If I had that done,
I would look like a dog's ass. I'm telling you,
if I had a picture huts, i would look like
a dog's ass. I just have like I have. I
have a Frankenstein hut.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
You do not have.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
I swear to you. I do like you. You know,
back in the day, like nowadays, they put like those
helmets on kids to reshape their head. Yes, yeah, well
back then, you know, in nineteen sixty seven, they didn't
do that. So my mom said, I had a hell
of a time like turning over because the back of
my head was so flat. Well, I mean, Eddie likes

(06:58):
it because he can put his drink on the of
my head, you know, when I'm just kidding. Oh oh, tamn,
I know, I know, so what is going on with you?

Speaker 2 (07:11):
But you know there's not a ton new I'm trying
to like. My dating has taken a tipped, a low
tip because I have been feeling so yucky, so I
haven't been able to like the same.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Isn't it kind of hard to date when you don't
leave the house.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Yeah, that's that's the thing. It's kind of hard to date.
But I was trying to do it for a little while,
and now it's taken a dip.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Did you remain friends with the Yes, Okay, I was
just wondering because I thought he was really really nice.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
He was really really nice.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
He still was very nice.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah, he's he's a nice guy. He's a funny guy.
But yeah, I remain friends with him. And then there's
one other guy that I still like talk to, but
I feel bad because I can't ever do anything like
I'm like, I don't feel up to it.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Sorry, it's nice to be able to talk to somebody though,
you know it is, but that's got to be nice.
It doesn't mean it has to go much farther. I
don't know. I mean, you're a catch.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
I'm a real catch, especially right now you're getting better.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
So recently you had said you got a scan done
electric some kind you had like little you should electroids
all over your head to test, like I don't know,
is it brain waves or what is it?

Speaker 2 (08:32):
They test to see like how your brain is operating now,
you know, like after having such like traumatic surgeries and
stuff like that, and the results came back and they
want to essentially put me on a different medication for
the brain fog and for the confusion and all that
kind of stuff. Because a lot of what's causing me

(08:53):
stress is like I used to be so on it
and you know it, like I was so on it
with texts calls being there Like now I'm not kidding.
I think I have two hundred and forty one on
read text messages.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah, I mean I could imagine that it's kind of like,
you know, just having major brain surgery like you did.
And I remember the doctors telling us, the surgeon that
the tumors that they remove literally left craters. Yeah, maybe
so large creators. Yeah, and so that has to do
some temporary you know, memory loss and things like that.

(09:30):
I from the outside can tell you. I see you
getting better.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Thank you. I can feel I feel better with searching
for words. It's more just like the unknown that I
think is getting to me. And I think I'm finally.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Like more like the future.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Yeah, and also like I think I'm finally mourning a
lot of things that I you know, right out of
the hospital, I was like back in everything, full swing,
like going for it. And I think that now that
things slowed down, I'm is having to process so much
that it's it's getting me down.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Yeah. One question we've talked about, but I don't know
if you want to talk about it. You can say
no if you don't want to. In the midst of
all this, you are still going through a divorce, right.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Well we've stopped the divorce, so like, but I mean
we're not together.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
But you're not together, so not together, so you're not
working on the marriage. You're not trying to get back together.
You know that you are not going to be together.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
We are not working on the divorce, and we're not
working on the marriage. Okay, we're just working on being
good communicators and being there for the kids.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
And how how does that make you feel like in
the midst of anything sad?

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Yeah, And I can.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
Imagine, I can imagine like on top of everything you
got to put I mean, when you do it, girl,
you do you go all in, you go all in. Yeah,
everything I want.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Sixteen years of being with the same person and you know,
knowing the ins and outs and then all of a
sudden that going away is you know, now it's finally
it's finally hitting me.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Do you ever think, like, you know, let's just try
to make it work or just because you want somebody
there with you every single night?

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Well, I mean I think yes, of course there are
moments that you know that goes into but there's so
much work that would need to be done, and there's
so much things that never say never. Yeah, but we're
definitely not in a place right now where that's you know,
coming up, and you know he's he's definitely you know,

(11:44):
dating and living his life and happy.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
That's got to be hard. I know that he had
posted some stuff on social media about being on a
trip with a girl, and I was just like, no,
don't post that. I know, but still, it's one thing
knowing it, it's the other thing seeing it.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah, that's true, it's true.

Speaker 4 (12:05):
It's true.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
So going to New York City. It's actually Sophia's twentieth
birthday on September twenty fourth, and her I'm taking her
and her boyfriend to New York. They are actually talking
about moving to New York and a year from now. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Yeah, I mean it's serious.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
It's very serious, very very very serious.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Do you like him?

Speaker 3 (12:42):
I love him, love him. His name is Nico. His
mom grew up in the same area in Mexico that
Eddie did, and I don't know if it's the mom
with the family, but anyway, Guadalajara, and she is seems
like a wonderful mom, wonderful and Sophia loves the family

(13:04):
and they're a very tight knit family, very tight knit,
which is very It's really weird because after Simon and
I split up, and then you know, the kids got older,
and I felt like we didn't keep that. Me and
Eddie didn't keep the tight and it's hard. Maybe other people,
maybe they've gone through divorce and have kids and blended family.

(13:27):
I feel like it's not as tight as it would
be if me and Simon were together their father, you
know what I mean. I mean, I know, I mean,
we're good. Everything's good and everything, but you know, you know,
the family dinners and all that stuff, and it just
I felt like we lost it somewhere along the way aage.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
I'm not, Yeah, And it feels like it's coming back
around now.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Now that the kids are a little bit older. And
I think a lot had to do with their father
saying horrible things about Eddie too.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Yeah, so you know.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Now that the kids are older, we do dinners together
and all that stuff. But his family is extremely tight
and and Sophia loves that. And we're going to New York.
They're gonna come out the day after because he is
taking her out on a date for her birthday. They
plan they're going to go to a fancy restaurant on
the twenty fourth, and she's all excited about that, and

(14:18):
then they're going to come out, and so I'm extending
the stay for a little bit, and she says, Mom,
you know you don't have to tag along with everything
we do, right. I'm like, oh, okay, I see what
you're saying. I said, I go no, no, no. So
I'm making plans with Derenda and Dolores and trying to

(14:39):
see as many girls out there as I can. So
fun with a little vacation. Eddie's staying home to take
care of the dog, and Sophia's.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Cut so you know, we got to take care of rugby.

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Yeah, and other family news. Very excited Ava, who's been
my granddaughter, who's been homeschooled since for the past five years.
She's now ten, just started private.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
School, so she's in regular school.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
Now she's in regular private school. Yeah, yeah, super excited
about that.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
They've been wanting to be a game changer. Yeah, she's been.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Wanting to do that, and you know, I was happy
to help out because you know, as you know, private
school is very expensive. So I'm helping out with that.
And I want to go today and go and pick
her up from school with Sarah. Me and Sarah. You know,
we've had an up and down relationship in the past,
but now for years now, everything's been good. And Ryan

(15:35):
and Sarah have a great co parenting relationship as well.
So all is good, All is good in the hood.
All that's good.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
That's great news. I have one other question about Sophia.
Has she gotten in her first argument with the boyfriend yet?

Speaker 3 (15:48):
I asked her that and she said, no, we really haven't.
I said, well, he should argue about those bangs you
just cut. I I listen, her hair is a different color,
it's long, it's short. This is that? So she cut
her her hair in a pixie cut. I think I've
read this, and you know, those little micro bangs are
in style. And she cuts her own hair and I said,

(16:10):
did you cut your bangs again? Mom? I'm not talking
about this with you right now.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Leave my hair.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
I'm like, I can stand anything but those microbangs. And
now I'm seeing like Miley Cyrus with them. And there
was an ad.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
That the growing out stage isn't going to be fun horrible.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Pamela Anderson has had a little pixie cut in one
of her ads, and I'm like, I guess this is
the look, but I just you don't know. Maybe in
two years I'll be like, oh, that's cute.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Speaking of Pamela Anderson she with Liam Neeson or not?
I'm yes, yes, are they or was that like just
for a movie or something.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
I think they did a movie together and they ended up.
I think they're an adorable couple. I think it's so
horrible Andy had them on watch It Happens Life. Now.
You know, Andy was really good friends with his wife
that passed away, right, And I just I am pleasantly
surprising in shock about the road that Pamela Anderson took. Here.

(17:06):
She was this sexy bombshell and now she's standing up
for you know, no makeup and being a natural beauty
in a natural beauty and this is a girl. They
had a tattoo around her arm and you know, eight
hundred CC implants and all this stuff, and I'm like, wow,
I mean, she is naturally beautiful? Could you do that?

Speaker 2 (17:27):
I mean, I at this point.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
Kind of are.

Speaker 5 (17:39):
Me.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
I don't know about the natural.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
You are naturally beautiful. You are naturally beautiful. You are
naturally beautiful.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
Oh, thank you. Should we talk about the drama that's
been going on, yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:53):
You know, but I didn't want to talk about it
because I was not involved in it. But sheena involved
me in it. So just to take it back, had
you interviewed Katie, which we you know on twat see
we interview people. Obviously, I'm not allowed. You know, part
of my contract is to have the podcast about housewives.
I am not allowed to recap my own show. Yeah, so,

(18:16):
which is fine, it's great. I don't mind that. But
I am on vacation in Yellowstone, Jackson Hole, whatever you
want to call it. And you interview Katie and I
get a text message after it from Sena and it says, hey,
give me a call when you can, please. I don't
want to bother Teddy with this. And I thought, oh god,

(18:40):
she's mad about something on the podcast. And I said,
I just finished Whitewater rafting and Wyoming. I'll call you
later when I get to my room. So it took
us in long story short, I never called her because
she did an emergency podcast about your interview but blamed me.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Yeah. And here's the thing, guys, I sent like sixteen
screenshots told that this was a rumor that was happening.
I didn't just like pull it out of my ass.
And I'm not saying that it's true or not true.
I have no idea, and that is why I said,
rumor has it and that's what we do. We go
on here and we talk about rumors. We talk the rumors.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Yeah, the drama, you know, that's that's all it was.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
And the fact that her reaction was so big. And
then don't worry. She did end up contacting me too, well,
you know, in a group text.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
And then a week later, in a group text, she
writes here, Muri tried last week and haven't heard back. Teddy,
I'm curious where you heard this from. I don't know
why my name is being dragged into it, but I'd
like to know where the lie came from. Please now.
And then she sends a little clip of the podcast
and she says no one was saying it. No one

(20:00):
at all was saying that. Gretchen told Sena and Keke
until this podcast, I'm free for a call today. And
I wrote her back because I was upset. I go,
why would I reach out to you after you did
an emergency podcast before I could call you and blamed
me for everything. I was not on the pod. I
did not listen, and by the way, I still you

(20:21):
know me, I don't listen to a lot. I still
have not listened to the pod and I do not
edit our pod, and she's she does this podcast her
in Keiki, which by the way, I've always supported Kiki.
I took I went to dinner with Keki in New York.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
I met both girls. I wasn't saying. All I was
saying was rumor has it? And it was because I
was sent something and just chatted about it. And I
believe me, I had a lot of, you know, things
to say to Katie as well, you know, like I
was like, why did you lie about this? Why did
you say this? Why did you sit like that's the
whole point of having a discussion. And but the part

(20:59):
that really floors me is that Sheena asked us to
come on and clarify.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Well, she says, you say, I have COVID, I'm very ill.
I canceled work this week. This is very silly, uh,
in the big scheme of things, And I'm over it. Sorry,
that's what you said, and she's and of course Sheena
is like, I'm so sorry to hear that, Teddy. I
hope you recover quickly. In the big scheme though, it's
my name being dragged into a lie. So I just

(21:29):
wanted to know where it came from Tamra And then
she's like, Tamra, I'm sure you know where it came from,
and I appreciate it being cleared up on the plot,
and I'm like, okay, First of all, the account I
asked you where it came from, the account that sent
that to you has blocked me, so I couldn't even

(21:50):
read it. I am blocked from the accounts that posted
all these things.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
And I also didn't say it was true. I just
said this is.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
What I heard. But don't you find it suspicious that
a week later, after it all died down, that she's still.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Like reaching out. Yeah, but I think she's probably going
through it right now because I think she something happened
with Katie Maloney and her as well, something about her wedding.
So I think maybe she's just spiraling.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
All I can say, and it's not that deep. It's
not that deep. I love Lalla, it's not that deep.
And the fact that you blame me and said that
I have editing rights, well, let me just tell you something, sweetie.
If I'm on a pod with Teddy and both of
us say, oh, you know what, we shouldn't add that
in or you know, I don't want to talk about
my dad. Maybe should take that out. Okay, that's our
editing rights. We have attorneys, we have producers that take

(22:47):
stuff out for legal reasons or other reasons. I wasn't
on the pod. I did not listen to the pod.
I did not go oh, by the way, you should
remove that. And also it it's just so annoying.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
It's just super annoying that somebody would come on and say,
I need you to clear that up.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Well, plus all the ship she said about me and
Kiki in the background was like yeah, yeah, And I'm like, Kiki,
I have supported you throughout all of this, I know,
to dinner in New York.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
And it's a rumor. Who cares?

Speaker 3 (23:21):
I mean, she is the Queen of Ruk no.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Truth to it, then what does it matter?

Speaker 3 (23:25):
See that's how I feel. I know I defended Keiki
on Jeff Lewis a couple of days prior to all this.
So I'm just really annoyed. For one.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
And it's not that I don't I mean, I like
she and I've always liked Gina, but this, but you guys.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Have always even in New Orleans, you guys were going
at it all and.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
She was kind of going for me about the Captain
Jason or something like that, like.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
Yeah, and no you went for her, sweetie.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Well well, yeah, that's true, but I didn't ask her.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
But you were all you were all tumored up, so
you didn't.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
I was up.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Yeah, but I'm not gonna make excuses for myself. I
was annoyed at her about the way that she phrased
the Captain Jason thing, but that was also her saying
talking to Captain Jason and then acting like I slid
into his DMS.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Whicheah, you did not you asked him to do a
video for a fan, you know, something like that, Right.
I wasn't like, You're like, hey, buddy, can I see
your wee wi.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Yeah. I wasn't like I was like, hope to see you.
And for the record, he reaches out to me because
you know, he had cancer too, Yeah yep, So I
mean he's a nice guy. He checked in, but like,
there's no nothing else to it, and that actually I
mean whatever, But.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
I mean I just felt like it was very super
rich coming from her, you know, and she always yes, yes.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
And like we're sorry you're going through it with some
of the other girls, right, now, but like, don't take
it out on us, and don't take it out on something.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Especially right, I wasn't the farthest person involved in this situation,
and don't say.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
It hasn't been anywhere when like, honestly, there was sixteen
pages of notes from somebody saying where it was. And
if she's being on top of her social media, she
probably saw it too.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Did they tag her and it?

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Do?

Speaker 3 (25:12):
You know?

Speaker 2 (25:13):
I don't know, but I mean maybe she's blocked too.
Maybe she didn't know.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
I know.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
I'm like, why am I blocked?

Speaker 2 (25:19):
I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Maybe I have that account block who knows? Maybe they're
mean to me. Well, let's get into headlines. There's a
lot to discuss. There a lot of new shows coming out,
don't There's a lot of a lot of stuff going on,

(25:48):
you know, like a lot of new shows coming out.
There was one that was just announced this morning. I
don't even know if it's on our rundown, but we'll
get to it. But the first one is wife swap.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
Could you do that? Uh?

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Funny story? When I before I was even on Housewives there,
remember their original wive swab?

Speaker 2 (26:07):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Yeah, So somebody in my neighborhood did it. And I
remember like that my kids were maybe like one and
two when this happened, and I remember like driving by
the house going oh my God, like being all starstruck.
I didn't even I didn't know the girl that was
on it, but to the family. But yeah, so I

(26:29):
I this would be a hard one to do because.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
We do know these girls. It's Angie K, Emily Simpson,
Melissa Gorga, and doctor Wendy Will trade families with four
other women with different lifestyles. Angie K, she loves brand names,
beauty and micromanaging her family, swap sides with off the
grid former Mormon Lindsay Flake, whose family lives without electricity,
running water and rules.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
Wait what yes, that's where Angie went. Yeah wait no electricity.
No okay, that's that's not even funny. No, no, nope, nope.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
So she had a camp for a week pretty much,
but at least you know, we know she lifts camping,
no cell phone. I don't know. But do you think
Lindsay can teach ANGIEK to value nature over luxury as
do you think that's what's going to happen, is what
they're trying to put out there.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
No, it ain't gonna happen, and you might act like
it even though she's got r V, but no, she's
got electricity in that RV.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Well, then doctor Wendy, who runs her busy Maryland household
prioritizing strict rules and tight schedule, swaps lives with free
spirited Floridian Althea Shapiro, who prioritizes fun, no rules, and ferens.
Will doctor Wendy be able to find balance between structure
and fun. Can Althea bring a more spontaneity to Windy's family?

Speaker 5 (27:56):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (27:57):
My god, I think Windy is a very structured person.
I know, I think that she's gonna I saw the
preview where she's like, you ruin my carpet, you know,
and the girl's just.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Like, hmmm, what what? Then we've got Melissa Gorga, who
prides herself on Sunday sauce, family values organization, swaps life
with disorganized vegan Michelle Clark. Will Michelle take a page
from Melissa's perfectionist lifestyle? Can Melissa successfully implement her traditional
values and structure into this family?

Speaker 3 (28:31):
We shall see, we shall see.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
My God. And then the final one is this is
Emily Simpson, which I was surprised to hear that she
was doing it. But Emily Simpson swaps her modern day
marriage for an old school marriage with a hands off
dad Eric. When caylee' spenson experiences a laid back new
life in oc, she tries to crack the tough shell
of Emily's daughter and helps the family implement more family time.

(28:56):
Emily attempts to implement teamwork instructure, where she comes to
realize how good she has it at home. Which housewife
would you want to swap with?

Speaker 5 (29:06):
I think that I would go with Happy Eddie because
he's got a wead business like my husband Eddie, So
I feel like I would feel right at home.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Yeah, I think I would go probably Melissa Gorgo.

Speaker 3 (29:20):
Because I'm not going with this person that lives with
no electricity. It's just not happened. How that was, Judge like,
and I'm a scruffy girl, but that's one thing. I'm like, No,
how do you how do you charge your phone? They
don't have phones?

Speaker 2 (29:36):
You must not. Well, I've got doubt they would let
her have her phone anyway.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
I knew Emily was going to do it. She told
me about it and I'm like, oh my god, she
was super nervous about it, super super nervous.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
How long it's a week?

Speaker 3 (29:46):
It's I think it's like six days or something like that.
But she says it was a lot of filming, like
all the time filming, and.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
There's ultimate Girls Trip type filming.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Yeah, like there's cameras every one. Thing I would like
to clear up about Emily. I've been seeing a lot
of like people have been sending me dms about Emily's podcast,
and I want to say, like, Emily is still on
our you know, two Tea's umbrella. She's still here. So basically,
what happens when we have somebody underneath us, We get

(30:20):
them started, so we put them on the back end
of our podcast, and as they get better or get
you know, people, our viewers, and you know, they are
set up for success if they are are good at
what they're doing, because they're Me and Teddy worked for
for almost five years building these subscribers and everything. And
what happens is, you know, they get all our subscribers,

(30:42):
get a notification that legally Burnette is out right.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Yeah, and she's still on our feed. She's still on
our feet time.

Speaker 3 (30:50):
Yeah, so what we do normally is we try to
wean them off onto their own feed, and that's basically
what we're doing right now where she's she's on our feed.
Every other podcast which she has four podcasts. Podcast is
great legally Burnette with her and Shane. Make sure you
follow and subscribe.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Yeah, and it's doing great. But like the people think
that there's any drama there. No, she didn't leave to
teas in a pod. She's still in our feed.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
It's just about I think, well, I got messages where
people are saying she said so many nasty things about
you this season, like I thought you guys are good?
Did you kick her off? Then another one is like
Emily left, like it caused like a big old issue.
Honestly when she made the announcement.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
Yeah, we both got a lot of messages on that.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
Yeah. But no, everything's good. So there is another new show.
It just was announced Summerhouse spin off coming with Lindsay, Kyle,
Amanda and then more. We don't know who else is
on it, but Rabo announced the series on Wednesday, September seventeenth,
which is today. So the title is in the City.
So I'm assuming these people from Summerhouse or now we're

(31:58):
going to see more of their life. Now there's still
going to be on Summerhouse, right, so they're going to
be doing two shows extra Busy filming under the working
title why have somebody sent it to me twice? Why
isn't in the Thing toy Okay? In the City Okay
and The City That Never Sleeps, a group of New
Yorkers navigate the biggest transition of their lives, marriage, parenthood, renovations,

(32:20):
and the reality of growing up without growing apart.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
But I have some exciting news. What My publicist just
texted me that we are one of the best celebrity
podcasts on the Astra Podcast Awards. What We're nominated?

Speaker 3 (32:38):
We're nominated? Yes, Oh my god, that's so exciting.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Chloe Kardashian in Wonderland Unconditional. Well we just lost Maurice
and Anna and then artists Friendly and good hang. Pretty exciting.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
It is exciting, very exciting.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
If you want to see the trailer for the new show,
The Summer House.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
I can't remember the name of the damn thing, so
I got to say.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
It in the City Summerhouse has been off. Then just
go watch it because it looks good, and I'm excited
that we'll be able to recap another show.

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Did you see that Mormon Wives? Jen Affleck reveals if
Ben Affleck knew before teaming up for her New duncan Ad.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
I did? Have you guys seen the New duncan Ad
with Jen Affleck and Ben Affleck? It is so cute.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Well, everyone's like, how did this happen? Are you actually related?
And Jen said that his daughter was there and she's
a huge fan. She's like, okay, can we be related?
As long as I'm related to Jen, We're chilling.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
That is so cute that he brought his daughter there
to meet her. And if you haven't, I mean it's
all over social media. But it's so cute. What did
she say? She's like the cheaper Affleck and the cuter one,
and he's like and he's like in his car in the.

Speaker 2 (33:54):
Drive through the budget aff the budget Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
And he's like rude. It's really really cute, really cute.
So I'm expecting to see a Ben Affleck cameo on
Mormon Wives. Yeah, do you imagine?

Speaker 2 (34:10):
I would love to see I would love to see it.
But speaking of that, I mean, did you watch Dancing
with the Stars.

Speaker 3 (34:18):
Last night I did watch Dancing with the Stars. It
was two hours long. It was okay. First of all, Whitney,
Holy Molly, like I love. I can just sit there
and watch like all her tiktoks dancing. I know he's
such a good dancer, but she's also professionally trained. Now,
what are your thoughts on having stars that are professionally

(34:41):
trained dancers? Do you think it's all I.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
Think that now they're all so good watching I was thinking,
you know what, well they're not.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
They're not all that great the stars like if.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
No, well, the mass majority of them are very good.
Like Klaria Baldwin is a good dancer.

Speaker 3 (34:57):
She's also professionally trained. She's an amazing dancer. Now, Whitney
was Whitney and her partner which I so badly want
to cut his hair, are leading. Yeah, And then they
were tied. There was a tie for first, and I
think it was Robert Irwin, who was so good, so

(35:20):
good and so yeah. So I'm excited about the season.
Carrie On was out because she was sick, but it
was good. And then Dylan, let's talk about Dylan. Oh
my god, he starts off on the table the desk
with the judges shaking his butt in their faces. And

(35:43):
then I mean, what the hell you we were supposed
to interview him, member, I think it was me? Was
it me? And then I don't know what happened, but
I got canceled. So I don't know if he got
too busy for us.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Too busy for us, the audacity of it all.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
But it was good. I couldn't vote because I watched
the you know, after voting had closed. I guess, I
don't know. I'm not sure how to do all that anyways,
and I think Whitney has a really good chance to
me too.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
I mean, and by the way, what a glow up
she her dress was beautiful. She looks amazing, amazing, And
I mean between that and Taylor being on the Bachelorette,
like nice girls know how to turn one thing into and.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
Now all the I think all the girls were in
the audience from the show. I wasn't sure.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
I was Taylor there, Oh she was there, Yeah, Taylor
was there.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
She was there, Okay, so all the girls were there supporting.
We saw Alec Baldwin in the audience with a couple
of his kids. I think two or three of his
seven eight nine however many hands. Yeah, oh my god. Yeah,
so it was it was a I'm really looking.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
Forward to that.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
And then.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
Taylor her new show, The Bachelorette. I don't know, is
that filming right now or is that? How is that?
Is it coming out soon? She already filmed it? Do
you know?

Speaker 2 (37:11):
I think she must have already filmed it, okay, because
we're seeing you know, trailers and stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
Oh, they haven't filmed it.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
There's also a new show, The Rain, the Tea hits different.
I get a first look at the Ladies of London.
They're back.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
They're back after eight years. You never know with Bravo
when they're going to bring a show.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
Back eight year hiatus, and now they're back. Yeah, I
want to watch that.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
I am going to watch it. I actually rewatched a
couple episodes not too long ago, because you know, I
forgot that Carolyn Stanbury was in it, and you know,
she's a friend of ours, and so I wanted to
go back just to watch it to.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
You know, see what she was like.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Yeah, I see what she was like. Because this is
it's been quite a while since it's been on and
it's good. What I think one or two of the
girls from the original one is back on it. Yeah,
and then Carolyn makes she makes an appearance as.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
Well, because I didn't watch it originally.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
Who else there's another housewife I believe makes a cameo
on the show I remember seeing. I can't remember who
it is. Well, we'll find out. Do we have an
air date for that?

Speaker 2 (38:23):
We just got coming soon?

Speaker 3 (38:26):
This next next article?

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Oh my gosh, did you see the pictures?

Speaker 3 (38:30):
I saw the pictures? Did she? I thought that? She
said he his family was living in that mess.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
They are, but they have to stay upstairs or I
mean they have to stay downstairs.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
So the pictures of the hoarding, I guess you would
call it is that where Denise lives or the man doesn't.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Live there anymore. But that's how it was left.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
Oh okay, yeah, because on her you know, the new
show that she.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Had, Remember she was in those little she was in
a condo. She was in condos.

Speaker 3 (39:05):
She was in condos, right, yeah, so that was kind
of confusing. Now, but the house was in disarray. Is
that why?

Speaker 2 (39:12):
I don't know? But they have something like fourteen dogs.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
They had like thirty something dogs at one time. I
don't even think that's legal.

Speaker 2 (39:20):
I I don't know, but I can't even think of it.
But he claims Denise left abandoned. The photos show piles
of clothes, dresses covered in trash and dust, and a
child the rooms, stuffed animals all over. Well that's nothing.
I mean stuffed animals left all over. Yeah, every morning.
There's hundreds of dollars worth of vintage clothing in here,

(39:41):
and it's riddled in moths, Aaron said. Denise has claimed
via court docks that she moved out two years ago
and blames Aaron and his family for having severely damaged
the property and left the house in a state of disarray.

Speaker 3 (39:53):
So the upstairs, the way it was left, that's his.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
Family's fault, that's what she's saying.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
I think she's saying that they did that, they threw everything.
Oh boy, Because.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
It says Aaron resides in the lower level of the
property with his parents, brother, and Richard's fifteen dogs.

Speaker 3 (40:10):
I don't why did they all live together? Can you
just answer that? Rulled me that Why are they all
living together?

Speaker 2 (40:18):
Between that and the fifteen dogs in the disarray upstairs,
it feels like a lot for me.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
Oh I there's no way I could do that.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
Yeah, there is no And I'm trying to remember if
I ever even went inside that house. I don't think so,
because I think when she had her party and that
was the house they were living in, I think we
went straight out to the back and there was whatever
like the high end port of John's that we took.
So I don't think I've ever been inside.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
Okay, so you were never in there? Yeah, So did
we talk? I think we talked about this, and maybe
I did with Dolores. But remember that scene where he
grabbed her hand at Kyle's house and what did he say?

Speaker 2 (40:58):
I'll crush He'll crush your fucking hand.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
And yeah, she's bringing that up in court.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Yeah, she and I think they can use like the
footage and stuff.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
Yeah. I mean, he doesn't actually do it, but he
he's just the fact that he said it. I know,
I know it's while he's miked.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
After she reminds him he's miked. Yeah, I mean, who knows.
All I know is that all of that it makes
me feel really sad for everybody, and like just watching it,
I don't know. And then I watched Charlie Sheen documentary.
Did you watch that yet.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
I haven't watched it yet, but I want to watch it.
You need to watch You know what documentary I watched
last U not last night than night before was What's
Demi Moore's Bruce Willis? I watched the Bruce Willis documentary
with his wife Emma. It's a it's really sad. I

(42:01):
didn't realize he was married to his to Emma for
sixteen years.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
Now that's a long time.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
And I, for some reason, I thought it was a
newer marriage and their kids were little, but there are
other teenages now, yeah, the girls. So it's just she's
really sweet girl, really really sweet.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
That's so hard. And then our final Housewife update as
Mary Cosby's son arrested for assault and trespassing. This is
according to TMZ. According to the arrest report, Robert Junior
was arrested just outside Salt Lake City for failure to
stop at the command of law enforcement, criminal trespassing, assault,

(42:39):
and three alleged violations of a court order. For the report,
local police responded to domestic violence call after Robert Junior
allegedly tried to break into his father in law's home
via dog door and assaulted someone on the front lawn,
Robert Junior failed to get on the ground when ordered
to do so by the responding police officer, before eventually
complying and being taken into custody. That was this is

(43:03):
that's heartbreaking.

Speaker 3 (43:04):
That is heartbreaking. And she has been pretty open as
much as she can be doing during press and saying
he's doing you know, some days are good as a mother,
it is just the hardest.

Speaker 2 (43:17):
I can't even imagine.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
I know, I mean I haven't gone through anything like that,
but it just having your child struggling, struggling like that
is just devastating, being devastating.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
Yeah, yeah, that's it. Thanks you guys for tuning in
to an episode of to Jeez and a Pod. We
will be back later to recap salt Lake can't wait.
