Speaker 1 (00:14):
Hi, guys, Welcome to another episode of Diamonds in the
Rough with myself Teddy Mellencamp.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
And Hi, I'm Erica Jane. Hi, Rika Jane, Hi baby,
how are you? Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
My gosh, I like almost needed to call you for
advice because this past week has been so brutal.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Okay, what's going on? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
I feel like, well, I ended up getting.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Sick, right, I text you you got COVID.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Yeah, I got COVID, which I'm good now. But then
I started feeling like extreme extreme depression.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Ooh, like I hopeless, hopeless Okay, and did you call
your psychiatrist?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
I called my psychiatrist. My dad flew in his assistant
to be with me. Okay, but I haven't ever felt
like that.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
It's frightening.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
So and then how long does it take to kind
of bounce back from that?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Everybody's different. What did your psychiatrist say?

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Well, I mean they changed my medications around, okay, and
they my psychiatrist just said, like, nobody really knows exactly
what you're going through. That's right, And all you can
do is just, you know, try to stay as positive
as you can and think about all the great things

(01:37):
that are going on in your life. But I mean
I didn't. I cried every single day last week.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Why didn't you tell me?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Because I hate asking people for help?

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Yeah, but you this is the time that you lean
on people, like you know. I would have come out here,
I know, but it's like I know you had COVID,
but I still would have come. I would have come.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
But how when you I mean, because.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah, you can ask anything you want to ask when you.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Are going through like depressive stuffs, like how long does
it normally take you to kind of snap out of it?

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Okay? So for me, my medication didn't really kick in
till about four to six weeks, and I laid in
bed a lot and I had really intrusive thoughts. Are

(02:30):
you having intrusive thoughts? Okay? So I wanted to kill
myself for a very long time and thought about it
a lot and then didn't. The hopelessness is what's frightening,
you know, the hopelessness, And sometimes you just need someone

(02:54):
to come and sit with you, which I will do
anytime you need me to. You're going through a lot,
and I think, like, of course, obviously I'm no health professional,
but I think the gravity of what you've gone through
is hitting you right now.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Yeah, that's what I think too. Like I went from
like having like this kind of chaotic life NonStop and
then right into the hospital, right and then I bound
to process hold on.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
But you had one of the biggest I don't want
to say bounce backs, but that's the only word that's
coming to me right now I've ever seen of anybody
like I'm sure your doctors, like you shrugged this very
serious diagnosis of like it was nothing. You had surgery,
you were competing in horse shows, you were dating, you know,
so all of those things. I say all of that

(03:47):
to say that, like you're caught up in all of
this and now it's hitting you like months later. Yeah,
the seriousness and the gravity, and I mean, I'm sure
you're psychiatrists or your doctors have said that it's kind
to normal.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Yeah, they said that it's normal to feel this way
and just to kind of keep going through you know,
you just have to keep going through it. But it
was really scary.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
It is scary, isn't it. Yeah, Because it's almost like,
who am I why? I've never felt this way, You've
never felt so low, And I was worried it wasn't
going to stop. I know, That's what I was worried about.
Wasn't too How can this? How can I pull myself
out of this? Because you and I are very proactive,
whether it be fitness, nutrition, your family, your schedule. You know,

(04:35):
you're somebody that had your entire life scheduled down to
the minute. When something like this is overwhelming and you
feel did you feel paralyzed?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I felt paralyzed, and like that's why it's like hard
for me to even like send a text message or
reach out to anybody or and then you know, when
it comes to work stuff like.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
I love work, Yeah you do.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I love it, and I like the brain fall and
all those types of things. It's just like I can't
stand it.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, but I think you need to be a little bit.
You need to cut yourself a break right here and
not be so hard on yourself. You're hard on yourself anyway,
ye like at your best of times, like really hard
on yourself. I think you really have to be gentle
with yourself right here. Yeah. Also know that this is
not forever. But the more you resist and the more

(05:25):
you fight, the worse it kind of gets in your head,
like you have to move because I hated it so much. So,
like anybody listening, like, I wasn't the best at this either,
because I started acting out.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I mean that's what I was doing before, but now
I don't even have the energy to act out.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
I understand, I understand, and I think that I think
your faith is strong, yeah, yeah, very strong. This is
where you really need to lean into your faith. Yeah,
and everyone around you and know that people are here. No,
I don't know exactly what you're going through, Okay, I don't,

(06:06):
but I do know what it's like to feel that way,
and I think this is a time when all of
us need to You know, you can call me any
fucking time, Teddy, thank you, And I mean that like
you're welcome to call me twenty four hours a day
if you can send the text. Now I'm going to
be calling you. I will, but then I understand if

(06:28):
you don't answer. But I think that you need someone
with you all the time. Someone needs to be with you,
just because you don't need to be alone with your
own thoughts, because that rumination can get into a place
where it's just really heavy.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
And then you're just like you feel so stuck. Yeah,
And like I still can't drive. I felt like I
was just stuck inside of this house. And then I
think COVID added to it, well that's yes, And I
was like, holy shit, I haven't felt like this.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
I don't ever, ever, ever.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
In my life. And then you start wondering like did
I make a mistake. Did I need to change?

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Like you didn't make a mistake coming Okay, that's you
did not make a mistake. You don't need to apologize
for anything. You don't need to go back and relive
the past. You need to take in this moment. And
has your new medication started to kick in.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
I think it started to kick in, Like I feel
pretty good today.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Good?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah, I feel pretty good today, but today is probably
the first day. And but I mean, luckily for pax
a livid, it got me through the cood pretty quickly.
Good testing negative. So I was like, whew, now I
can leave my house.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Yes, and you do need to leave your house, even
if it's just to walk around the block.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Yeah, Like yesterday, I was like, okay, I'll go get
my nails done.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Yeah, I went and got a petty good. Yeah, so
you know that's what it is. Then I watched Roal
Housewives of Orange County.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Okay, which will get in? I watched it too.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
Hold on, shold we talk a little bit about the wedding.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Oh, okay, well, yes you. First off, I'm so happy
you came and I think you had a good time.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
I had such It was such a beautiful wedding. It
was so pretty, and their speeches.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Were insane in saying the fact that they've known each
other since the third grade and he used to spend
the night in his car outside of their.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Home waiting for her to wake up so they could
spend more time together.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
So they were meant to be together.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah, like that love story. It really got me.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
I saw Kyle the other night at the NBC Emmy
party and I said to her, like, you know, there
aren't many happy marriages in my family where I come from.
We don't have events like that, and I'll never have
a family like that, brothers and sisters and things like that.
But I was so happy to have like witnessed that.

(08:55):
I know that sounds horny, but it was so special.
And singing, oh when singing, well.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
When they got up on stage and were singing, I
was like, who's that beautiful voice? And the fact that it.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Was coming out of Alexia.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
I was like, oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
And their first dance, which was totally adorable, complete with
lifts and turns, and it was precious.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
It was one of those things like I was like,
what a magical night. It was so magical and it
was It was nice to have to see everybody.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Everybody was really happy you were there.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yeah, and I was happy to see Rinna.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
She's a good time.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
She cracks me up.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
You guys are having a good time over there at
your table.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yeah, your table? Who was who was at your table?

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Alex, myself, Sutton, who's on the edge. I think Justin
was at my table? And who was across from us?
I forget, but yeah, we had a great time.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Yeah, it was fun.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
It was beautiful. It was really pretty happy. The flowers
were gorgeous handles, the food was good. Everybody there, it
was really nice. And when I didn't think I was
gonna cry, but when I saw Kyle come down and
wait for her, I just was like, oh God, Erica stop,
you know, doesn't even have anything to do with me.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
I cried too, And I loved that. It just felt
it felt even though it was a big wedding. It
felt so intimate.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
It felt like everyone there really knew the couple. Yeah,
it didn't feel like a business event.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
No, it was.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
It was lovely.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Oh, it was so nice. Probably more lovely than going
to Temecula for a twenty four hour trip.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
I would say I'd rather go to Alexia's wedding like
every day of the week than have to go to
Temecula once. Even though the house looked really good, that
house was quite beautiful.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
The house was beautiful, but okay, so it starts off,
Taram recalls Shannon invites her on a twenty four hour
venyard trip to Temecula. Shannon is hesitant to go on
the trip because she doesn't know which Tam or She's
gonna get.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Valid point, valid point.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Also, she couldn't even make an effort to be like
no or yes.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
She was like, ah, well, two things I think are
at play here. She can't say no, and we both
know why. So eh was probably her way of saying no,
But I have to if I were to translate it.
You know, you all know what I'm saying without me
saying it.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
She was like, ah, eh, but why did you pack
all those kitchen supplies? We didn't see any cooking.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Purely for a kitchen and effect. I was like, it's
a stick. Well, when nobody's cooking on this shit, like
stop with all the games.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Then Shannon, Gina, and Jen meet for lunch. Gina and
Jen tell Shannon they said yes to going on Tameras
to Mecula trip. Gina thinks that it would be an
opportunity for Shannon and Tarmor to clear some things up.
Gina was going to town on her You know how
we always said it's hard to eat on camera with
her artichoke biting, it was full.

Speaker 2 (12:18):
Well, she must have been the three that day, and
it's interesting you should bring that up because I was
watching them eat and I was like, I hate eating
on camera. I know we you know, we we've talked
about this, never eat on camera. Yet here we are
eating on camera, eating on that artichoke. Must have been good.
And then Heather records her episode of her podcast with
Dylan mulvaney, which was very good, and I thought, maybe

(12:42):
I should listen to Heather's podcast.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
She has a new one. It's on iHeart. Actually it's
called Between Us Cute. Her and Terry have a podcast together.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
That's kind of adorable. I know, do they have a
good time? Have you heard it?

Speaker 1 (12:55):
I haven't heard it, but I think that they probably.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Maybe they should invite us over and we could really
chatted out. Oh we should do a double Yeah we should.
We should actually, like, you know, we go over there
and bullshit with them.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
Because I mean, I think he's hilarious.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
He's great.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Did you know his brother was like a fucking rock star?

Speaker 1 (13:15):
No?

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Yeah, his brother was like the lead singer. Don't quote
is it Rat or Quiet Riot? Really? Yeah? I mean
he's no longer on this planet, but yeah, his brother
was like a legit guy, was a Quiet Riot. Quiet right,
he's the lead of Quiet Riot. Come and feel the noise.
Terry Deburrow's brother.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
That How did I not know that?

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Do you think your dad might have known him in passing?

Speaker 1 (13:39):
I don't know. Let's ask ask.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
We need to ask the Koug's.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Well, ask the coos Coogs. Did you know him?

Speaker 2 (13:45):
Now? Well, Koog's knows everybody.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
I mean, I mean the Coug's knows a lot of
the kooks. Has farm made this weekend? By the way, guys, oh.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
Is it still going? I love that he's a bit
he's like one of the leaders that is Willy showing
up for that.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
I don't know if Willy is I would have I mean.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Really so old, it's so fabulous. I'm not saying that
in a bad way.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Normally it's like Willie, your dad, Matthews.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
You know what. I like it that your dad has
been so involved with that for so long.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
I mean, he's so passionate about it, but he should be.
And that's what I was like. I couldn't even believe
that he sent his assistant out. I'm like, during farm aid,
you must really love me.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Mut's have farm maide down though.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Yeah. Then Emily and Jen help out at an animal shelter,
which was cute. It was cute. While there, Emily opens
up about Luke and how she coddles him and how
Shane thinks Emily is rewarding bad behavior by doing that.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
I have a question, is Shane, and and forgive me
for not knowing, is Shane their dad? Or does she
have kids with another person?

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Or he has kids with another person?

Speaker 2 (14:44):
Okay, but these twins are theirs?

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Yes, But also did you hear that? And I'm trying
not to do Shane. I'm just confused by it. That
they're doing wife swap what.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
Yes, they're doing Yes, Emily and Shane are doing it.
Yes with who are their part Who are they swapping with?

Speaker 1 (15:03):
We don't know exactly who.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Oh like, oh, I I mean that's this is a
hard time to do that.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
I mean, we're oh.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
My god with the boys.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Yeah, we've had the whole season talking about Luke, I know,
and now they're going to switch families.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
I don't like that me neither. Emily knows best what's
right with her family.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Yeah she does, but like I don't. Maybe she signed
up for this before.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Maybe it's a contractual obligation. That's where I'm going.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Let's hope that's okay.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
I do want to say this though. Yeah, I see
how Emily and Shane's marriage, Like, I get it. I
think that again, And I've said this before. Men and
women process things differently, and that's always going to be
a thing, like I view it. But this is a
tough spot, you know, because I feel it's hard because

(16:02):
you know, Emily talks about how the other children haven't
gotten as much focused as Lucaz and she kind of said,
I'm paraphrasing, they'll be okay. At the same time are they.
I mean, it's it's just it's really hard on a family.
This is really hard on.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, it's really hard on the family and especially But
do you think that it's like to the point where
it's causing Emily and Shane so much stress that it's
going to hurt them. No, I don't think so. I
think they're a strong couple.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
I think they're a strong couple. And I also think
that at times like this you really find out what
your marriage is made of, you'll be fine.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
I don't think that this is going to rip them
apart neither. They'll probably go to counseling, which all couples
of all married couples, in my opinion, should go to anyway.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
I mean, maybe they're already in counseling.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
I hope so.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
I think it's just hard to record these types of
things film talking about your son.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Nobody wants to talk about that. That's very heartbreaking. It's
really I don't think people quite understand, like, yes, we
are on these reality TV shows to share our lives,
and while it's so much more fun to go to
a winery and talk about you know, when you're talking
about your children being having problems that hits on a

(17:18):
whole other level. That's really being vulnerable for all of us,
for every woman that's ever been on any one of
these shows.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Yeah, and because not only do you have to continue
to live through it again and again and again.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
You're also subject to everybody else's opinion of it again
and again and again. So easy on the judgment of
moms whose children are struggling.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Please, Yes, for sure, I have another question for you.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
I have an answer.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Shannon's missing a tooth and never getthing like that.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
Need to see that. Don't think that's the best. We
need to get her some dental implants. Stat. I saw
that doctor Rashti. She keeps coming up on the TV.
I don't know if she's any good or not, but
she'd probably give you some free teeth.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
I didn't like that. I don't hurt. And she called
it her flipper.

Speaker 1 (18:11):
Well, flipper isn't.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
That something in that old school MGM thing? Flipper like
Judy Garland.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
I think a flipper is like when you are in beauty.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Pageants and you're missing your baby teeth. Yes, I said,
they give you the teeth the flipper, and so that
you when you smile and wave you had the full smile. Yeah,
that's what I thought it was too. I didn't need
to know she was missing a molar, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Like, I didn't need to know. But why didn't she
get it put back in or find it by a
new one.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Chance for the molars, I mean, can get them alone.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
On the molar and now send us a quick selfie.
Please is your molar back in?

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Or now I'm being shady about the teeth, my apologies,
don't show it to us and then I won't have
to be it was. It was shocking.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
It was shocking.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Yeah, just like hm mm hmm yeah, oh okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Then into Mecula, Shannon unpacks her suitcase filled with pots,
pants and baking supplies.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
I left it at home. It's a stick, don't do it.

Speaker 1 (19:19):
And like what was she going to whip up and win?
Absolutely not?

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Absolutely nothing? I mean, which I feel like.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
She just wanted to have a lot of luggage. Yeah
for camera, Like what was she going to make a
good spot?

Speaker 2 (19:32):
Not a goddamn thing?

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Like why did she need the blending thing?

Speaker 2 (19:34):
She doesn't she had brought her own like blender to
make her own like protein shake or something. Yeah, like
I get all that, but like pots and pans.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Pots and pans, and maybe that was her pots and pants.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
Well, I mean we did have to cook this year.
It was a disaster, but that's just you know, who
did the cooking, allegedly all of us, not me. I
could have told you that was fucked up and we
to beg hungry, oh and a little you know an
it was my.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Birthday, so I was like, what did you guys cook?

Speaker 2 (20:09):
I don't know because it never got completed. Everybody started
a dish and it was way lame.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Can you remember what we ate when we were on
the camping trip in the RV Okay?

Speaker 2 (20:18):
First off, I was thinking of that the other day,
and I was thinking about how much fun we were having.
I just know that Duri killed us at beer pong.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Oh my gosh, she was so good.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
She was so she was so good. I remember eating
the pumpkin pie for breakfast. I remember us going to
the grocery store and you were like, we only need
one mane and two sides. Meanwhile, I was like cheese
balls and brownie mix.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
Oh, we were using what is that the cheese that
you like squeezed?

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Oh? Score, cheese. Yeah, like hello, maybe easy cheese or
something like this, not cheese at all, but we were
using that on crackers.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
Yeah, I mean I don't know, but where did we
have dinner.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
It's not coming to me we.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Either, Oh yeah, that's right. We got in an argument
with Camille because Camille like wanted to be in charge
of the grill.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
And then like, all I remember is Camille telling us
how she gave Kelsey a pros state massage. That I
don't remember the grilling incident, but I do remember Camille
with the prostate massage. And I remember you're back and
forth with her about the playboy thing. Oh, her body
was rocking. I mean it was.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Rocking, but she was being judging about something I think,
and I.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Was like, we need to yeah, like yeah, you're naked.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
I wasn't having it. And then Heather hosts a sleepover
with Emily and Gretchen, but first the girls go shopping
in Beverly Hills and run into pop parazzi. She says
she knows for a fact that Heather did not call
the poparazzi at Disneyland. Emily wonders if they just ran
into a paid actress.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
Well, Emily's a paid actor, so you ran into one
of your own. So I mean, like, quit it. Who
cares you know?

Speaker 1 (22:04):
I mean, but it's a very random, coincidental, Like it's
not like every single paparazzi knows each other.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
I have a note, Okay, my storage unit was broken into,
So I was making a police report yesterday. Hold on,
and then I had to go to the gym. As
I'm walking into the gym, who meets me there? The
paparazzi that was asking me if my storage unit was
broken into. So I'm gonna x out on this. Yeah,

(22:30):
I was like, did the fucking storage unit call you
and tell you or did you just how that?

Speaker 1 (22:34):
What?

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Were you following me from my house to the storage
unit and saw me and then followed me to the
gym to ask me this tacky question. So I've had
it with that whole line of shit. So everybody's a
paid actor in this town. And but I do like
the fact that the paparazzi uh stuck up for Heather.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Yeah, I liked it too, But I also was like,
they don't all know each other. They don't they don't know.
I mean, it's small, but I mean, but Also, I
don't care if she called.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
I don't either, It's just not that important. I know
I didn't call it yesterday, and I found it fucking
annoying and interessive in my life. But that's my relationship
with that.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Well, anytime the pop Rozzi gets me, it's at my
very worst.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Definitely, exactly like I mean, my shit got stolen? Or
do you think that I fucking how do you think
I fucking feel? Thanks?

Speaker 1 (23:25):
Thank you can. We also talk about how Heather and
Gretchen are dressed for two totally different whether I.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
Noticed that too. Gretchen looks like she's in New York City, Yeah,
and Heather is wearing a little strap like black adorable dress.
But Gretchen looks like it's fall or winter. Yeah. I
was like, Heather, it looks like it's summertime.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
What is going on? This com this, this combo of
three was a little bit interesting.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Yeah, it was interesting.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
It was interesting. Then we're back at the winery. Tamra
starts yelling do you like me again? Shannon, and then goes,
I think Jen likes me again too. Gina thinks Tamara
isn't doing this right. Yeah, I mean, nobody's gonna like
you more. When you say do.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
You like me? The answer is no, No, you're actually
on my nerves. Yeah, and asking Yeah, now it's getting worse.
Just leave it alone. Yeah, not the best, not the best.
At dinner, Heather brings up taking classes at the Groundlings
into Mecula. The women question Heather doing a comedy, I
prov Emily. Okay, so I I just side note on this.

(24:35):
Heather Debro is very talented, and she's a very talented
singer and had her own like band and I know
we kind of share the same voice. Coach and not
to say his name, but he was like, no, she
can sing. Yeah, she's talented, y'all. Like she's a talented actress.
She's a talented singer. I don't know if she's a
dancer or not.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
But but if it makes her happy, what is what's
the problem with it?

Speaker 2 (24:57):
Who cares? She's talented? Let her live her life.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Her live her life, and let her do things that
are going to give her more joy.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
This is what this is about, like, and we should
be supporting her, and just like we need to support
everybody who's doing any sort of thing artistic and anything
that enriches their lives right, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
I mean how I would do anything right now to
find something that I really loved, that you.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Loved and like just like yeah you sunk your teeth
into and yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
My new version of riding horses. I need to find it.

Speaker 2 (25:26):
You do, I need that was the last time you
got on horse.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
Probably three months ago?

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Miss it?

Speaker 1 (25:34):
I miss it like crazy.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Well, then we need to get on I know I
need to. Would you go like ride some nag with
me around? Like yes, okay, it's it eight, I'm gonna
pick you up and we'll go.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Let's do it.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Okay, schedule that I'll find let's let's get gin on
it and we'll yeah, we'll and I'll come get you
and we'll go riding. Not not riding in the way
you ride, but just get on a horse and look
at pretty ship. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Yeah, we did that once also when we filmed we
did that in Germany. Oh no, we've done it twice
then in Germany when the horses were all taking off.
But then also I think it was me you and
possibly we went riding and then we went to the
Mexican rest Superbank.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Maybe yeah, I mean yes, maybe we should do at
Griffith Park maybe we should do that. That was kind
of fun and then go to the Mexican place and
have a cocktail.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Perfect.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
Yeah, okayfect Brin. That was fun. Actually we were getting along.
Dury showed up in a chanelle I had on, like
you know, the ride. Yeah, we have a hotel, and
just like, yeah, yeah, let's go do that. That's actually closer.
There's one not on Sunset, I mean like Malibu, but

(26:46):
that's probably not a great place, right now, let's go
over there.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
That would be fun.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Okay, we'll set it up. Jennifer're listening. Who by the way,
did crush Don't Stop Believing? Do you remember when she
sang that at the Who? Yeah, I was kind of shocked,
even the high note Eve like we she was. She
was on the microphone. So Jen, shout out to you.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
Shout out to you. You nailed it. And and I
love like her background dancers new right, not background dancers,
but background singers new right. One to pull back and.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Let let her have her moment. No, it was great,
It was great. It was great.

Speaker 1 (27:23):
Jenna is one of our besties, just so everybody knows,
and she is just always such fun.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
She's a good time. But she loves you very much.
She's such a good friend to all of us, but
especially she loves you and Kyle very much. She's just
she's really a giving soul, very giving beyond it. Emily
brings up that Jen had asked if Heather pacifies Tamra
because she's scared of her. This is like the oldest

(27:52):
housewife trick in the book. You're not saying it because
you're scared of her, you know what. I think? This
is my take. She don't want to fight with her,
like it's old. Yeah, it's just like I'm not afraid
of you. I'm fucking tired of you, Like I know
what you're gonna do, and so I don't want to deal.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
With it and it's not worth it.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
It's not worth it because it never goes anywhere, and
it just is like it's time. Are you afraid of her?
It's like, no, she gets on my nerves and I
really don't want to hear it.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
But also I think and that's why, Yeah, I mean,
I think she also likes her comparatively, speaking.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Of course she does. They do get along. I think
they get along, and I think and that's fine, and
you know what, you don't always want to like nail
somebody over.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Again and shit. And I think that Heather has empathy,
which a lot of people don't. And I think Heather
can see when a friend is going through a rough time.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Yeah, gets a bad rap, she gets shit on for
like not being but she's just different and I kind
of and we've said this before, what you know, she
lets the women be themselves. Yeah, so you don't always
have to fight with somebody to show that you don't
like their behavior or something like that. You can just
be like, you know, my nerves.

Speaker 1 (28:57):
How did you feel about the behavior When the girls
walk through the vend and once again, Shannon's falling.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
Down, Yeah, I mean it looked like, you know, how
did you feel?

Speaker 1 (29:07):
Well? I just was like this, it felt.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
I'm not going to pick her up because I don't
want dirt on my outfit and I'm not going to
stream my back.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
But it just it's it felt like to me the
same way as bringing all the cooking supplies.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
It is it's a stick.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
It's a stick.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
It came off as sticky, it was shaky, and then
her ash was sticky because it had dirt all over it. Yeah,
I mean, if you're gonna fall down like eat like
when bit the dust in sand.

Speaker 1 (29:37):
My gosh, I thought you were going to talk about
when almost fall down at the wedding. I never something
like that. So it was so story just to get backstory.

(29:57):
The wedding, it was an a place to wear like
huge shoes.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Even though we all did even I was guilty.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
But Durd had on probably like I don't know, ten inches.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
She wears big shoes, big shoes.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
And so you walk up these stairs and there's like
these little rocks and as she's like plintering.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
I'm laughing because we almost all of.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
Us like, and I was like, believe me, I had
my own I wasn't even wearing big shoes and I
had my own I.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Had my own pros. I have my own problems, and
I was wearing big shoes.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Yeah, but it was I And then like this random
man like caught her.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
It was full to eat style.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
It was full.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
It was just but even like even walking down the
the place to our seats was tough.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
That was I don't The girls nailed it though, when.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
They walk was nailed it. How beautiful were those girls.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
Oh, my gosh, and all the dresses that they looked
so pretty ordinated, but not too cordin.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
Too coordinated, like it was beautiful. It was a beautiful night,
full moon. It was gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
And then after they're walking through the vineyard, Gina says,
Heather presented the story of that end quotes.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
That photo, which she never said that photo. She never
said it heavy. You were heavier at that time. Okay.

(31:33):
The girls arrive at dinner into Mecula and Tamar brings
up the heavy photo to Jenn and apologizes, and Tamer
thinks no one wants to accept her apology, which is
kind of true because Tamra, you give a lot of
content and then they just spit it right back at you,
and so yeah, and she explains that. Tamer explains that

(31:54):
her issue with Jen started because Jin had Ryan go
to Cabo with them while bringing will to her house
hold on but then the comeback was so somebody was
having an affair. But then the if then it got
turned around that Tamra was having an affair with Eddie
while she was married to someone else. See, I did
not know this because I'm a new Orange County watcher.

(32:16):
I didn't know any of this. So I was like, oh, oh.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Well, I mean of course it's going to get talked about.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, I just didn't know.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
No, but I met like it's going to get talked
about that She okay, So.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
It's basically it's the same behavior.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
It's well right imagedly, I don't I don't know is
it confirmed that they did.

Speaker 2 (32:36):
Here's the thing, I don't really care when anybody like,
it's not any of my business who has an affair
or not. I'm not married to you. Shit happens in
adult relationships. Let's not throw it in people's faces. Well,
but I think the pro I'm wrong, Like, you know
you had an affair, way ye, who gives a fup?
Like you're not fucking the guy?

Speaker 1 (32:55):
I am so, But if you went on a vacation
with that and then you come back and then you
have to see the person's husband.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
That's okay. So Tom girlready had the greatest rule ever.
And you guys can say what you want to say,
but this was a good one. He said, We meaning
he and I are never going to dinner or drinks
or anywhere with anyone's girlfriend slash side piece, even though
he had a million Okay, but yeah, because and he

(33:25):
was correct about this, So take his own indiscretions out
of it. He was like, what I don't want to
have happen is you and I say the wrong thing
or mix up the wrong date, and then we're in
the middle of something. And that's the problem with this. Yeah,
that's you know. It's like, oh, girl, say I was
you know, you go on a vacation with somebody you're
not supposed to be going on a vacation with, and

(33:46):
then other people see you and then they have to
pretend like they don't know. It's just dragging people in.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Yeah, brings people in and then they all of a
sudden have to be held accountable.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
To right, and then the person who's getting cheated on
goes to you. Let's just say, why didn't you tell me?
It's like, was it my place? Yeah? I didn't know
that homegirl was coming on the vacation.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
So, like I said, even though Tom had a whole
lot of shit in his own indiscretion, he was SMA
pretty smooth about this one.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
He knew you.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
I gave her for a while until he got away
from him. Yeah, you know what happens to all of us,
to you.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
Honey, Then Shannon gets involved and starts yelling at Tamra,
saying she doesn't ever take accountability. Shannon tells Tamar that
she goes low and everyone has just to forgive her.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
Well, we've heard this both back and forth for years.
Nothing no revelation here.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Yeah, well, I mean, I think the problem here is
tam says if she wants to go to zero to
one hundred, she needs to let them breathe and work
slowly through their friendship.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
I believe that. Yeah, it's smart.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Yeah, I think it.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
It's the most reasonable thing you can say. Yeah. Shannon
tells Tamra that her life has been better the past
year with Tamra not in it, and Shannon expresses how
hard last year was for her with Tamra calling her
an alcoholic. I'm sure that that is true. Calling someone
an alcoholic does hurt your friends. And if you've had
the best year of your life without Tamra being in

(35:11):
your life, Tamra probably doesn't care, Shannon. She's really not
gonna sweat it. I'm just gonna tell you, Uh, nobody
really cares.

Speaker 1 (35:18):
What about Tamar's amazing pivot where she lobs it over
to Gina.

Speaker 2 (35:22):
I kind of love it. That's why we like. That's
why we love Tamra. She's like, how potato now it's.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
On you by actually really thinks you have a.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Bro exactly Actually it's her, which I kind of listen, Hey,
this is where it gets cute. Tamor throws Gina under
the bus, telling Shannon that Gina is worried about Shannon's drinking,
and Gin admits that she does worry about Shannon. Reasonable. Yeah,
I mean it's reasonable to worry about Shannon. She hit
a house. She hit a house and maybe lost the molar.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Do you think she lost the molar?

Speaker 2 (36:00):
I'm just being rude. And Shannon, if you're listening, girl,
you know, I think you're fears. But I have to
be up here talking shit.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
And if you're here, I have my teeth are fake.

Speaker 2 (36:10):
So yeah, no, everybody's got veneers or something. I don't.
But yeah, I mean I would worry about Shannon's drinking too.
But did the tam encourage her to have a cocktail
in New Orleans?

Speaker 3 (36:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (36:23):
So, I mean, y'all, really it's you.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
Know, it's a lot, but I think next week it's
gonna get pretty juicy.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
I did too. Listen. Once again, I enjoyed this episode
at first I'm like, when I watch these episodes, I'm
to be honest, I'm kind of like, okay, like what's
really going to happen? And then by the end, I'm
like that was cute. Yeah, yeah, no, that's fue And
I don't you know, the ladies are working hard. They're

(36:50):
putting it out.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
There, and you know they're doing everything they can.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
They're doing everything they can to entertain and to make
it happen.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
So I was a little bit curious when Heather, Gretchen,
and Emily were at dinner and Emily alludes to the
fact that she wants to get Gretchen hammered. Yeah, so
her vagina hangs out right, I'm like, this is kind
of similar to Naked Wasted.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
But maybe Emily's just wanting to see if Gretchen's vagina
will come out and if she needs to go to
the hospital again or not. I mean, I don't know.
Bottom line is, you can't get hammered unless you do
it yourself. Like nobody's gonna This is a show where
everybody should be adult enough to clock their own beverages.
I have been not naked and wasted, but I've been

(37:38):
wasted on this show. A couple of times too. Oh yeah,
one of your best performances.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
By my most liked episode.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
I didn't know you smoke cigarettes with the crew or
all kinds of shit. I was like, who was missed
off this fitness? You know, I didn't ship mad. I'm like,
who are you right?

Speaker 1 (38:02):
Oh my gosh, those were the days. Oh my gosh. Well,
you guys, thank you for tuning in to another.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
I just want to point out you're smiling.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
I know that because you make me laugh. Good.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
I'm glad.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
That's the point. Why do you think I have you here.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
Well to hopefully make you smile and good.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
Make me laugh. Yes, but I appreciate you guys for
tuning in to another episode of Diamonds in the Rough,
and we will be back. I know that we're slightly delayed,
but we will be back recapping the next episode soon.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
Yeah, don't get mad at us. We got a lot
going on. She's got going on. We're doing the best
we can over here. Thank you for listening, and we'll
see you next time.
