Speaker 1 (00:13):
Hi, guys, Welcome to another episode of Diamonds in the Wrap.
And I'm so happy to say that I'm back with
Erica Jay.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Hey, babe, how are you?

Speaker 1 (00:21):
I'm good? How are you?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I missed you?

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I missed you too, Like where have you? You've been
all over the place.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I've been all over the place. And we just got
back from our cast trip.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Oh is it going to be a juicy one?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's it. It does not disappoint,
it does not disappoint.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
And level of wonder ten. How exhausted are you now?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I mean I'm okay now, but when I came home,
I was definitely sleepy, Yeah, like a little You know
those things, and I know that the viewers really enjoyed them,
but they're very difficult to make. And you know this,
it's like, you know, you're going to bed at five
am and waking up at ten to do it all again.
It's a lot. Yeah, it's pretty NonStop. It's pretty NonStop.
But we stayed in the most beautiful Teddy. I'm telling you,

(01:06):
I think it's most the most beautiful place we've ever stayed.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Really.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, we had a great trip. It was beautiful. Love
Italy yeah, was.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
There any room meeting up or everybody had their own rooms?

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Everybody had their own room. Now, no, everybody had their
own room. It was it was none of that. But yeah,
it was really great.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
None of that. So we have real houselights, Orange County
Season nineteen.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Episode eight. Here we are, Here we are.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Before the episode even starts, we get the flashback reminder
of Katie and her husband having the discussion and Matt going, hey,
you might as well just call, you know, tell them
their fucking liars, right, So I'm curious if we're going
to have the same stance on this, but we'll get
there when we get there. It starts out with Shannon

(01:56):
her dad Jean.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
How sweet is this man? And how sharp?

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Shannon, if you're listening, you know I didn't have a dad.
I am so jealous of your father, your relationship with
your dad. He just seems like a gentleman and sharp
and fabulous.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Of course, I.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Enjoyed this so much. I just think it's wonderful.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Well, he's very like old school in the way that
he like talks.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
No, but it's Jane the machine. He's a gentleman, Jean
the Machine.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Jeane the Machine ninety six and.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Just bright and sharp and with it.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
He knew how to give it to her, like, well,
I won't.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Be driving today, adorable.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
He had to stick it to her a little bit,
make a joke.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Jean the Machine, You are precious.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Then a Marilyn Monroe impersonator comes out and brings Jane
a Jeane the Machine hat and sings him Happy Birthday.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I love it. Why not?

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Love ninety six once. I mean, most most of people
get ninety six, and when they do, they're not as
sharp as Gene the Machine.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Jeane the Machine. I love that. Shannon also goes, you know,
I don't want to date anyone right now, as if
she wasn't just on a reality dating show.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
This is true, and her dad kind of gave it
to her. Yeah, it's kind of funny. I love it.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yeah, he definitely kind of gave it to her. Then
we've got where what is that restaurant.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
They go to, Matt Javiers, Well.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
That was Javier's. But no, the restaurant where Gretchen and
Gina meet for lunch.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I feel like I've seen that place a lot of times.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Well, we always see the same places and you know why, Yeah, where.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
They can get Well, Gretchen and Gina meet for lunch.
Gretchen explains to Gina that she doesn't understand why Katie
would be bringing up any conversation to a reporter. Gretchen
does say she thought it was in a safe space
when having that conversation, so it makes it seem like
she did reveal the information.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Yes, and there is no such safe space with a reporter.
It's not you can't do that.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Right, But no, she's saying she was in a safe
space when she was having a conversation with Katie, is
what I think she was saying.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Again, there's no safe space with Katie. Yeah, which is
what we find out as we go on. Yeah, you know,
I know you say you're going to see it differently, but.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yeah, Well, then Kiki Monique meets up with them. Kiki
clarifies that Katie did tell her that Gretchen had to
go to the hospital because she was drugged. She also
says Gretchen is feeling extremely betrayed, and then Kiki also
tells them that Katie brought Gina's name up about implying
that Gina made a racist comment about Katie's jacket is

(04:40):
that an Asian designer? Then when Kiki leaves, Gretchen starts
crying about how messed up it is. Gretchen's performance here
is kind of embarrassing to me. I think like she
deserved a razzie for it.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
A razzi. Well, look, I think when you do these things,
this is what happens, you know.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
So let's break down because I haven't really been talking
to you about this. So because you've been gone, you
have more of an issue with Katie here than you
do with Gretchen.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Well, I dislike both behavior, but Katie's has gone on
longer than Gretchen's.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Well, Gretchen's has potentially been going on since the beginning
of time.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
We don't know, We didn't want I'm just but I
didn't watch it back then. So I was gonna let
like the over fifteen year old beef die. But apparently
it's still alive, you know what I mean? Like, oh good,
and here we go and here we go. But the
whole thing about bringing quote outside reporters in, like this
is not the way you do housewives. I'm sorry, that's

(05:43):
just not what you do. The show is about a
group of women and friendships within that you don't drag
in outside sources to do what to write your battles
for you to leak information like this is not what's
going on. If I was in charge of this show,
I would absolutely say that's an no. No.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yeah, well it's not only a note. I mean, granted,
I'm not giving Katie a free pass here, but I
am saying I do think Gretchen told her. Yeah, very possible,
even though I don't. You know, we'll get to lie
detect her test later, but I think Gretchen told her,
and I think Gretchen told her. I don't know that
Gretchen can keep track of what she's saying, because sometimes

(06:21):
she says that she did go to the hospital. Sometimes
she says I.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Saw that too, like she's it's kind of semantics. No,
I said I was sick enough to go to the hospital.
The drugged thing was. And I remember in Atlanta when
there was that whole accusation of well, Phaedra brought out
that Candy had potentially Candy and Todd were going to
drug Porsche like this is you know, we didn't see Phaedra.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
After that, Yeah we didn't, Yeah, we didn't.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
And so this to me when you use the word
drugged and shit like that, Like, now we're stepping into
something else other than a Housewives show.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
So in your mind, you think, Gretchen, this is before
Gretchen was back on the show. She goes to dinner
with Jen and Gretchen and their husbands and they are
all just shit talking, and then all of a sudden,
Gretchen doesn't realize it's going to come back and bite
her in the ass.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
Right, And this is what happens when you do that,
when you go to dinner off camera and you have
your husbands and you have these conversations, you never have
a clean chance here. Yeah, and that's that's really what
in my opinion, that's what this is.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
And then what are your thoughts on this? Gina comment
which Gina comment, Gina commenting, oh, is that an Asian designer?

Speaker 2 (07:31):
I mean, I don't know, but it didn't feel like
it was a slight.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Well, Gina then later on says, you know, she was
saying it as a compliment or as a question or
as a compliment. But then but then it made it
seem like she was putting her down because I guess
when Katie first came on the show. She said, I'm
only going to be wearing Asian designers, and it was
this cool thing and she was excited about it. Well,
but then she started coming on wearing only like Balenciaga, and.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Like so it changed, it changed, it changed. She had
kind of size are for changing. If you're saying I'm
only going to do this, which is great, support whom
you want to support? And I don't you know, was
it chatty? Possibly? I need more context.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
I think we're good. Well, I think we'll probably get somebody.
I think after this episode, we don't see Katie much anymore.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
That's what I was told.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Yeah, I think that this is and we just little
super tease. I think I have Katie on the pod
next week, Do you really? I think so, so I'll
be able to because what I think is happening is
I think Katie had the potential and has the potential
to be a good housewife.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yeah, but you can't run your mouth like this.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
But you can't run your mouth like this. And if
you can't, if you are going to run your mouth,
you need to got.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
To own up. You got to own up to it
and do it to your face. Yeah, you can't tell
everybody else about the person you're talking about.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
But then why is everybody else acting like Jen wasn't
a part of this conversation.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Because it's easier to focus on Katie.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah, but then it's everybody focusing on Katie and nobody
focusing on the fact that Jen has pretend amnesia.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Well, you know what, it's a real thing that pretend
damnesia can can be a real thing. But I think
that there's look, Katie is in the forefront, and then
I think they can turn their sights onto Jen. I
think it's one person at a time.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
I mean, do we think that Gretchen needs to involve
and pray and every single episode when it comes to
the female drama, I really don't. I don't either. Then
the girls arrived at Emily's Persian New Year party.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
I didn't even know Shane was Persian, but I found out.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
Well yeah, well I knew because they had had a
party back before. But I didn't know anything about the
egg thing.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
I don't know anything about this egg. I don't know.
I'm I didn't know it's Persian New Year. I didn't
know anything about the culture.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
I also didn't know it's a different date. I couldn't
believe Tam or new to ask if it was a
different date.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
I mean, very interesting. I know I did notice that,
you know, Shane and Emily's you know, obviously upset by
Luke's diagnosis, in Luke's behavior and how he kind of,
I guess, slid backwards after New Orleans and men and
women see things differently, and I know that she feels, yeah, And.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
I think men have a different way of wanting to
express it, especially when you're on camera.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Well, men would solve problems. They don't. They just don't
communicate and do things like we do. And yes, the
camera makes everything.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Worse, everything worse. And she's you can tell that Emily's internalizing.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
A lot, a lot, a lot. That hurts. Yeah, it hurts.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
And Shane, I think is trying for whether he does
it all the time or whether he does it solely
when they're on camera, is trying to downplay it because
I think he doesn't want it to be as or
just be calm.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yeah, I think that's just a man's reaction, like let's
not run away with the emotion, let's stay with the facts,
let's stay.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
I mean, it's hard, it's very difficult.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
And educate, and it's just it's it's.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
There's so many unanswered questions at this point.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
They just it's it's hard, and so.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
She's having, you know, to go back and forth between
you know, the drama with the housewives and her.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Child and her child, and the child supersedes everything, of course,
as as it should.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Yeah, Heather tells Emily and Gina how pissed Tamra was
that no one reached out to Tamra. Do you consider
a reach out the night of something happening a reach
out or you'd want a post reach out? So that
was really what because the girls are saying some of
us are like, we reached out that night.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
I think it's an individual thing. Sometimes. I think people
need spacetimes. I think people need in the moment, like, hey,
that was pretty raw for you, all right. For me,
it's an individual thing. And it's also I also want
to say this, it can be manipulative. Yeah what if
we're not you know, oh when I reached out to you,
it's like, don't you know, stop fucking games. I think

(12:03):
it's an individual, case by case basis.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
But if you saw somebody really struggling, I would Yeah,
I mean I think I think that episode we saw
Tamra struggling.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Yeah, and I would probably reach out no matter how
and be like, look, none of this is that important,
you know what I mean? Is that important? None of
this is that, None of this is.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Then they kind of show they do a little flashback
to a scene of Tamra and how they're talking, which
this made me think they really can't even go half
an episode or a full episode without Tamra.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
No, you can't, you can't, you can't.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
So it's like, you know, there's there's select amount of
housewives where that that happens.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Yes, and she's one of them.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
She's one of them.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
Yeah, And that's just the way it is down there,
that is. I mean, it's just like if you're going
to cut Kyle out of you know, you can't do that.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
You can't.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
You can't, you know, you just can't.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
There's just there's something that brings everybody together, whether it's
to fight or to get along or to have fun moments.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
And that's what that you know, that's what glue, the
glue that Tamor is.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
Yeah, but Katie is annoyed that she is on the
ouse with everyone because she is the one keeping Gretchen's secret.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
What is the secret? Again?

Speaker 1 (13:34):
The secret is that Gretchen actually told her all of
this stuff about going to the hospital. Ah, and so
she keeps telling everybody. You know, I didn't say anything
to Kiki Munique. I did. And and but.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Why why he is Katie keeping Gretchen secret. She doesn't
owe her anything because.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
I think she doesn't want to admit that she told
Kiki Monique.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
But I also, Monique just sat there and out at you,
and Kiki Monique is going to do what's right for
Kiki Monique. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. And you
can't blame Kiki Monique.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
No, she's gonna do it.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
She's going to do what's right for her. And I
thought that she came in and she was reasonable. It
didn't feel like she was.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
She wasn't trash talking.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
No, she was pretty straightforward. But again, we can't, in
my opinion, do these things on the shows because now
you're pulling in these other things that look, guys, the
show was within the cast. Keep it there.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
And if Katie really wanted to bring up that past thing,
she should have just brought it up.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
She should have just said, hey, Tamra. If I were you,
I probably wouldn't trust Gretchen because not even six months
ago she said the following to.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Me, And honestly, it would have given Katie a lot
of points within the group.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Yeah, I think so too, And then Gretchen would have
had to a friend.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
But instead now it's drawing all these weird things.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
You can't. Whenever you start to do that, just advocate
for yourself, say what you know, say that's policy.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Yeah. Then the girls write down questions they have for
each person.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Which I thought was kind of fun.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
I thought I thought was kind of fun, but I
wanted to see each of the questions.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
I was like, hold on, can we scroll in a
little bit here?

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Yeah? It felt a little thanks.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
I like, these are nice, They're cute.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Thank you. You got to get a pair of super.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Comfortable That's what I was thinking. I was like, hey,
these are very these look these are.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Fine and you can wear them all the time.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Yeah, don't mind us. We got a little sidetracked. But
then Tamra.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Does arrive, which is good, which she should.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
She arrives and she seems she seems more settled. Yep,
Like she seems more settled she arrives, Emily tells Tama
today will be pivotal for the group, and Katie goes
to the bathroom because she feels sick. At this point,
they're not serving alcohol at the event, which hasn't really
fully tipped anybody off on why they might not be,

(15:57):
which is the detector test. Yeah, but they don't know
they're having.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
The light detector test. It's kind of awesome, which is
pretty great, but I didn't like that the light detector
test was the same guy that did the vander Pump
light detector test with Lucy Lucy Apple Juicy, I'm serious.
So I think that maybe there has to be some
other service, like maybe we should call them.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Yeah, maybe.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
I did like the female though, I thought that she
was interesting.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
I thought she was interesting too, but I was like,
if it's the same company over and over again, like,
what are we doing? What are we doing? Is this
the only guy we can get?

Speaker 2 (16:31):
And also I'm tired of the lie detector gag. However,
in this particular situation was kind of interesting.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
They gave us more information on what makes you pass
the lie detect test, which then I wonder because Katie's
in a state of anxiety.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Is is this thing? This is how you're going to
defend this failure.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
I don't know she failed every single question? I mean
did they? I would assume there's questions we saw that
we didn't see.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
They're going to Katie, right, are you? Is your name?
Teddy Millen Camp?

Speaker 1 (17:08):
I want to know did she fail those answers to
Probably not, because I think they said that she failed
all of them.

Speaker 2 (17:14):
Well, the I want to say, probably the important ones
that they were not. The obvious is the sky blue.
I'd have been like, which sky I have no idea,
what are you talking about? I don't know, you know whatever.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
So, but so there's a little scene, there's a tiny
little clip off. It's it's about five seconds, pretty telling. Yeah,
where Katie goes I don't know what to ask and
Jen goes question. Yeah, that means Jen know's Gen knows.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Jen knows Gen knows.

Speaker 1 (17:45):
So why is Jen keeping her mouth shut about all
of this?

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Would you want to get in this fight?

Speaker 1 (17:52):
I would at least say, Gretchen, you told us all this.

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Maybe she's trying to protect Gretchen.

Speaker 1 (17:58):
As well more than her best friend Katie.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Well, when you're saving your own hide, you have no
best friends.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
True, but I mean, come on it, really, I don't know.
And then Gina saying to Gretchen there's a plan really
makes it seem like the light detector people were given
specific instructions.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Oh I'm sure, yeah, yeah dah.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
So then the girls go to take the light detector test.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
And Katie like has to go to the bathroom because
she's having a lot of anxiety.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Yeah, she has to go to the bathroom. She's gagging
or who knows what's happening.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Whatever's happening.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
We're hearing noise, we're hearing noise.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Maybe she's vomiting.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Maybe she's vomiting. She's at this point, I'm like, all
I can think about is the LVP guy and puppy gate.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
So that's I'm getting, having your own anxiety.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
I'm having my own.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
You're on posts. But you know it's interesting, like in
the grand scheme of things, when you look at this ship.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Now are you like, I'm like, why did I care
about that?

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Right?

Speaker 1 (18:59):
Why did I care about that? And I don't even
remember if she passed or failed the light detector test.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
I think he pastors pastor.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
He passed her, but then she was never seen again.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
You know what I mean, he passed her, she was
never seen again. You do the math, yeah, so, but
you know, God.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
Also, I've read something that if you don't, if you're
not like delayered to a certain point, the light detector
tests don't even really work.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
You mean on your skin, on your skin. Yeah. Well,
here's the other thing too, It is there are different
levels of polygraph and different skill levels of people that
administer them. I think like the you know, whomever's doing
it in law enforcement's probably a lot better than the
one they get for us and nun.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
Have you ever had to take one? Oh no, yeah,
you neither.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
No.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
I wonder if I could pass one, or if i'd
be too jittery even if I wasn't lying.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Well, that's a certain level of expectation. You shouldn't be
somewhat nervous. It's like if the police come to the
house and say that it's like, you know, yeah, the
fuck is this? There's a certain level of expectation and
people to have anxiety just at a base level.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Okay, Okay, so you'd be like, oh, we'll see. But
they ask a bunch of questions. Do you want to
go down these one by one?

Speaker 2 (20:23):
I mean if I detect her moderator comes down to
read the results. Tamra failed her answer of yes, being
told she was on the spectrum, thoughts.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
Well, I think she said I could be semantics semantics,
so I think that's a semantics.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
But she took a lot of shit for that. She
took a lot of ship for it in real time. Yeah,
and shouldn't say it again, like, yeah, don't say it again,
just let it go. Jen significantly failed her answer no
to the question of if she has any reservations about
marrying Ryan.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
What do you think that is? Do you think that's
about the finance all of it?

Speaker 2 (21:01):
And I think that that's pretty normal. Look, we see
on these shows and I'm going to even, like say,
my own past marriage, trying to put the best, you know,
foot forward, showing the best of the relationship, you too,

(21:22):
all of this, and you know the truth is like, yeah,
I would be nervous too, you know, I would be
nervous too. And she has a lot of kids, has
a lot of kids, a lot of responsibilities, and he's
got his own thing going which we've talked about, and
so sure, yeah, you know, Heather passed her. So if
she wanted to do Beverly Hills, come on by? You know?

(21:47):
And I get it. I mean, you know, come on by, girl,
come on by. Heather failed the answer of no for
calling the paparazzi at Disneyland. I'm disappointed in this, I
pointed in this answer. I know I want disappointed in
this answer. I wanted her to pass that because I
didn't think that it just doesn't sound like so what

(22:09):
I mean, it doesn't sound like Heather, feel like Heather,
And what's the big deal?

Speaker 1 (22:13):
And who cares?

Speaker 2 (22:15):
Exactly? Who cares? But I was disappointed in this answer.
Gretchen passed her answer of no to the question of
if she told Katie and Jin that she was drugged?

Speaker 1 (22:27):
How is that possible?

Speaker 2 (22:28):
This is where I'm struggled. So I am too, So
let's talk this out. Okay, So she passes the lie
detective test, but we see her say something. So what
is going on here?

Speaker 1 (22:39):
We've seen her say four different things, right, So maybe
she genuinely doesn't Maybe she was out they were partying
it up. She knows she told some form of the story.
She doesn't know what extent she got into and what
she embellished and what she didn't see.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
When you're saying drugged though, that's it like you're stepping
into a.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Place that's like and you also know if you went
to the hospital or not.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Hell, yeah you do. You know if you go to
a hospital, you really do? You really do?

Speaker 1 (23:08):
And we've heard her aunt, We've heard her say to Tamra,
We've heard her say to multiple people, no, I didn't
or I needed to go or I did go.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Right, So this here is you know, that's this is
a reunion This right here is a reunion situation. Yeah,
they need they need to get this down. Gretchen passed
the answer of no to the question of if she
went to the hospital after naked wasted.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Yeah, then Tamra and Shannon are confused. So I Gretchen
told them she did go to the hospital.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Yeah, why would you say that? But you know, she
passed her answer of no.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Supposedly, well, according to the powers that be, Gretchen hold
her whole test was toothful.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Yeah, which I I I'm confused because the camera doesn't either.

Speaker 1 (24:00):
Yeah, we've seen you not be right not telling her.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
So this is like, do we continue to do these
stupid light detector tests because the camera and the ship
that comes out of your mouth.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Like we're seeing flashback scenes.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
We just watched this, right, so who's wrong here?

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Yeah, it makes no sense.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
It makes no sense.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Then Katie failed her answer of no to the question
if she told Kiki that Gretchen said she was drug
and hospitals. To me, there's no question she told Yeah,
she told her.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
She told her, She told her again, stop talking.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
But she wouldn't have told her if she wasn't told
she's not gonna make it. I don't think she made
She didn't pull it out of thin air. I do
believe Gretchen told Katie that and Katie repeated it to Kiki.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Yeah, that's I mean, that's the very logical argument.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Well, that's a very logical way to say, like, I
don't think Katie's gonna pull it out of thin air,
that Gretchen said this and then go tell Kike. Yeah,
I mean that's I don't think Katie's been truthful. But
that's a real stretch. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Then Katie failed her answer of note to the question
if she played Shannon's recording for alexis I believe that,
believe that, I believe Why doesn't she.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
Just say yes? Because sometimes when you're in these things.
You just can't do it. You know, you just can't
be honest. You just can't be honest. You can't say
you fucked up, you can't do this.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
But if she just came in blazing saying, you know, yeah,
I did, I talked, I did this over and over again,
Like I feel like she'd be in less in a
fight with these girls.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
I think so, But I think but Katie's also new
and probably feels like if I say this, I'm really
going to be out, yeah, you know, and out with
the women and out of the show and out period
or many out, you know, whatever your definition about is.
And I think that that's what for me, that's how
I take it.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
And without her bestie coming to her side, Jen saying no,
you know what, I was there too, and that did happen.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
But also, when is Katie going to turn on Jen
and say, hey, why aren't you helping me out here? Well?

Speaker 1 (25:57):
I hope she do. Do you think she's going to
be at the reunion?

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Who? No, Katie, Katie, I don't know. How does this
season end up?

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Bravo released a clip of Jen and Katie having a
one on one next week, so maybe we get more
to the bottom of this.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
Well, they need to, I mean definitely for this storyline
to progress, Like those two women need to sit down
and talk about what the fuck is going on here.

Speaker 1 (26:19):
Jen has a good way of melting from the truth.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
We'll see, Yeah, we'll see.

Speaker 1 (26:25):
Then Katie failed her answer to the question of yes
to the question if Gretchen told her she was drugged
and went to the hospital. Katie did the worst of
everyone in the group.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Not surprising, by the way. No, No, not surprising at.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
All, not surprising. Exactly what they planned and wanted to
happen happened, happened two things. Other women failed questions, and
the group just kept moving. Did you notice that? Yes,
and Gretchen passed everything. But we've already seen her lie
in the hospital, so that doesn't really invalidate the story.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
No, there's something like, look, a polygraph is not perfect.
We see people pass that, shouldn't it happens? I mean,
make of it what you will. Yeah, the camera does
not lie here though. The camera and the cameras replaying things,
and we're.

Speaker 1 (27:12):
Both remembering exactly what the camera showed us.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Yeah, So, I mean, I don't know from an audience perspective,
how they feel about that.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Would you rather be friends with Katie or Gretchen?

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Neither?

Speaker 1 (27:24):
You have you have to pick?

Speaker 2 (27:26):
No, I don't why because life isn't that way.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
No, you don't. Life isn't that way. See, I don't
I think I.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Would like Katie. Listen, I'm sure. Look, I'm sure Katie
and Gretchen are lovely people inside this group and this
experience of real Housewives of Orange County that does not
make me want to be friends with them because this
is a different This is not real life, okay, and
we can all agree on that. And inside of this

(27:56):
group that would not be my choice of friends.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
No, I mean inside of the I mean if we
had to pick from everyone, really, I mean definitely wouldn't
be them. But I think I don't know why I
have more of a problem with the Gretchen.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
Have you given that some thought? No, seriously, I think it's.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Because there I know and my like, well, I don't.
I guess I don't know. I can't speak in a
complete absolute But because Gretchen told this story to Katie,
I'm giving Katie and out like essentially, they wouldn't have
gone out to eat if Gretchen wasn't in talks to

(28:34):
come on that show.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
No, they wouldn't, but she shouldn't have done it anyway. Yeah,
you got to be smarter than that. He has to
be smarter than that. You can't get dragged into these things.
You realize, Katie, you got dragged into all this shit
and but then didn't play it well at all, and
then you played it terribly.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Then just come out.

Speaker 2 (28:50):
Yeah I said, or I met with her, or yeah
I did, I did. This is what was said.

Speaker 1 (28:56):
She gossiped to me, and then I gossiped to other people,
one of them being kik Monique, another than being whoever
this other journalist is.

Speaker 2 (29:04):
That is still the word journalist just throw I know.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Then we're journalists.

Speaker 2 (29:16):
Now, No we aren't. I'm just kidding, and I would
like to sincerely apologize to all of the true journalists.
I am not a journalist. I am bullshitting up here
on a podcast.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Yeah, we are podcasters talking podcast talking podcasting in a
journalism bone in my body. Then as they're you know,
everybody's kind of finishing up. Katie still keeps swearing that
she didn't tell Kiki. She didn't Katie. Yeah, Katie tries
to get jin on her side, and Jen isn't helping Katie,

(29:46):
and it's shocked that Katie is still lying. Uh huh.
Then Katie says she is telling the wholehearted truth in
her confessional.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
H just just stop.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Gina confronts Katie about trying to make her comments sound
racist to Kiki, and then Emily tells Katie to leave.
When Katie leaves, she says that might be the last
time anyone sees her with these women.

Speaker 2 (30:07):
Yeah. No, I wouldn't want to be around a group
of women that I completely failed, uh to be honest
with about that. And it's just too many things, like
you know, once twice. Okay, they're smaller, but there seems
to be a lot here. And I don't think it's
a pileon of Katie. I just think that the behavior
is consistently this way.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
I think in order for the cast to move on,
they have to trust her. They have to trust her
they don't, or she has to come clean exactly.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
And if you come clean, then you've got to correct
your behavior and be consistent at that. So if you're
going to come clean, you got to say yes, not
only did I lie about this, I am coming clean
and I'm going to be consistently truthful.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
And you know what, I'm pissed at you, Jen for
pretending that you didn't hear it. And you know what,
I'm pissed at you.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
You know what. And she has the right to do that.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Yeah, And you know what, Gina, I'm pissed at you.
I'm not gonna whisper about you behind your back to Jen.
I'm actually going to say to your face that bothers me.
That hurt me when you said that.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
But if you're not going if she's not going to
be able to do that, and she's got to stop
talking to her husband. Oh again, this is what I'm
telling you, stop doing that. Stop doing that.

Speaker 1 (31:20):
But I feel like she feels like she doesn't have
anyone to talk to her.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
But she's iced herself out, Like do you know what
I'm saying, She's put herself in a position where nobody
wants to do this. Yeah, and that's a hard place.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
To be because but if all she would have done
has been a little honest, I bet they would want
to do this.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Of course, because everybody makes mistakes in this group. Yeah,
in every housewives is messy behavior. And you can have
the best intentions, you can get twisted. Things that you
say are out of context. Whatever, you have a cocktail.
But when you work this hard to isolate everybody in
the group that I mean, that takes something.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
So then what do you think is going to happen
the rest of the season, Like when it comes.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
To well, let's see, we're on episode eight, how many
do they have left? Like eight more?

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Yeah, probably eight more?

Speaker 2 (32:18):
So well, I don't know. I mean, let's say you
tilk her out now. Not that they don't have plenty
to talk about, because they do, but I you know,
I don't know, Like.

Speaker 1 (32:28):
Do we think that Tamor's going to get a better
like the edit's going to switch for Tamra Now.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
I don't know that I would say edit, I think
that Tamra has to switch Tamera. You know, edit is. Yes,
there are things that get fucked up in editing. We've
all seen it, their biases and edits. There just are
and anybody that's been watching these shows for a long
time you can see it. For whichever show you're watching,

(32:54):
you can tell or the story that you know is
being told this year, you can feel it. But at
the end of the day, if the words come out
of your mouth. You're going to live and die by
those no matter who you are.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
I know. I just wonder because I mean, we spent
this entire episode pretty much talking about Katie. Now is
Katie gone?

Speaker 2 (33:15):
What are you talking to talk about? What do you
talk about? Well, everybody has to go to work.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Yeah, everybody has to start showing up and doing.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
What showing up and being honest, showing up and you know,
revealing things about I don't know about what they know,
their fears, their home lives, how they feel in this group.
What are the dynamics. I mean, you know, it's a
show about women and their friendships, and.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
Right now it feels like a lot of ass kissing you.

Speaker 2 (33:42):
Mean amongst them versus Katie.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Yeah, like they're all trying to well, they're.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
They're united in their distrust of this one person in group,
so of course it's ass kissing, and then they're going
to turn on each other.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Well, I guess that'll be our next episode, turning on
each other.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Turning on each other.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
Well, we'll see how all the world turns.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Yes, has the the OC turns? But I do like
the show. I like the show. I think it's it's interesting. Yeah,
it's nice to see you, Teddy, see you too. I
missed you.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
We haven't even done like a full recap on us.
What like, what's going on with you?

Speaker 2 (34:19):
I'm okay, I'm good. I'm having a nice time. I'm
you know, I came home from the trip and took
a day or two. We all did it. It was
a long one.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
And are you still talking to the guy?

Speaker 2 (34:31):
I know?

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Airica, I know Erica.

Speaker 2 (34:35):
It's really nice. I like it.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
This is I just got I just got flush.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
I know. I see that.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
That's very kind of happy.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
Thank you me too. It feels nice. Yeah, yeah, And
I feel calm and and good. And you know.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
You have trust. Yeah. I can tell in your eyes.
I can tell when you're distrusting of a person or
situation or even talking about something.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
And I'm really calm and a piece feels nice.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
My gosh, I love that.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
What about what what about you?

Speaker 1 (35:09):
I'm I've I've been going on. I've been on probably about.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Like eight dates with one person.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
Uh huh.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
And he's the one that we not the young guy,
the one that was if you haven't met him, okay,
but have you talked to me about him? Yes? I
talk So it is that guy yes.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
I've been about eight dates.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
He's such a nice guy. That's like such a good guy.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
And I don't. But also I physically, like for a while,
I was like so physically charged, like I was like,
oh my god, I want to I want to do this,
I want to do that, you know, like I was
a wild woman. I think that was probably when I
was on the steroids.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
And now I'm not.

Speaker 1 (35:55):
So I'm just like chill, Like I'm like, okay, yeah,
let's go to dinner.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (35:59):
Sure, you know, like he's funny, he's nice, he opens
car doors like, he's handsome, he has a nice job.
Like there's no there's no complaints. The only complaints there
are about how I physically feel well, like not about him,
but about myself. Sure, so I'm kind of going through

(36:20):
those things that I've got a lot of things kind
of coming up where I'm like, am I going to
be able to do this? Like I'm getting to that
point where I'm definitely better than I was, but I'm
not like one hundred percent. So like it was really
like my friend, one of my best friends, had about
Mitzville last week for her son our bar Mitzvah.

Speaker 2 (36:39):
Sorry guys, A bar Mitzville last week for her.

Speaker 1 (36:41):
Son, and it was at night, and normally, like I'm
in bed at eight o'clock, so this was my latest night.
I stayed out till eight twenty pm. Okay, but like
I had to have You don't have to be like chaperone.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
Yeah you need yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
Yeah, Like I'm not there just to you. Yeah, I'm
not there just solo with the kids.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
You need I need help.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Yeah, And it's hard to ask for help, especially you.

Speaker 2 (37:09):
Yeah, it's hard to ask for help for anybody. But
you are so independent and so you know, so disciplined,
just like your workout, your schedule, and so I know
that's that's right.

Speaker 1 (37:20):
Yeah, it's it's hard for to ask for help. And
so I'm definitely in that stage where I'm like, I'm
sure I'm not the best person in the world to
have any sort of relationship with, but this guy's he's chill,
he's items to be understanding, very understanding, and I'm like
going through the phase of like I'm like Overhane.

Speaker 2 (37:40):
Yeah, no, yeah, it's I think, look, you've been through
so much and to do something like that, it's fine,
Like and then what do you guys have been what
kind of eight dates have you been doing?

Speaker 1 (37:52):
Is it? Is it dinner dates, lunch dinner, like we've
gone on a wallviees or something. Yeah, just all either
at either house, you know, just like we're just hanging
out getting to know each other.

Speaker 2 (38:04):
I like that. I like that for you. Yeah, so
it's been good for you.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
So you know, we both end on a little bit
of a happy note there.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
I like that. Yeah. Yeah, nice and calm, Nice and calm,
calm diamonds, calm, smooth diamond I'm a calm.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
Cubics or conia or what am I hold on?

Speaker 2 (38:24):
What is the stuff?

Speaker 1 (38:25):
I'm a lab grown No, you're not.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Smooth diamonds. Smooth flawless diamonds.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Oh my gosh. Well, thanks to guys for tuning in.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
Yeah, thanks for tuning in. Let's see you soon.
