Speaker 1 (00:02):
To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellancamp and Cameradge Edge.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Hey guys, welcome back for another episode of Two Teas
and a Pod with myself and Dolores. Today we are
freshly home from Bravo Con and I'm feeling fresh, not
feeling fresh at all. And we're gonna we are going
to recap Potomac episode seven. Now. It starts off with
Ashley goes to Monique's house when he got a new parrot. Now,
(00:39):
you love animals. It talks.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Now, I was gonna say, I want to hear what
it's got to say.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
I know, are you a bird person?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Actually?
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Of course I would die for any animal on the
face of the earth. But I'm afraid of birds, so
am I. I'm definitely afraid of me.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
They freaked me out. I had a bad bird experience.
I had like one I we had one growing up,
but it was a little cockatoo or something like that,
so it was no big deal. But we were I
was driving home from from high school when we used
to be able to drive home to go to lunch,
and I was driving and these birds were flying and
they hit my windshield and a bunch of them got
stuck to my windshields, died and I had to drive.
(01:20):
I had to drive another block stuck to my winschild freak.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
It was like a com coze.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
It was crazy, I know, and now I'm forever traumatized.
So Ashley asked about Monique's love life. Monique says she
is focusing on herself. They talked about Monique's fight with
the girls a few years prior. Ashley says she's always
had Moniques back as she tells Monique that some of
the things that Stacy says do not align. And I
(01:47):
will tell you we have. We had Stacy on the podcast,
and I will tell you she is very lovely, speaks
very well, has a very soothing voice. But she dodges
the questions like I pro like she like.
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Well, she's media trained. Yes, yes, but listen, nobody ever
put her hand to the fire on whether or not
this guy got paid. What happened with that? It just
went away. I listen, Stacy, if you say you didn't
pay him and there's.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
No proof, then we still have to stand behind you
because you're part of the.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Pass the family.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
So we're gonna say, Okay, you didn't pay them, But
they didn't really like push on that. They just love
to call her a liar, but they don't prove that
she's lying.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Well, they bring up proof, but some of it is
a little bit questionable, but you know, I doesn't count.
I found Stacy not only is she strikingly beautiful, beautiful,
sweet kind, just but me and me and Teddy. She
walked away and were like, I don't think she answered
any of the questions. That's a real talent. So then
Ashley asked Monique if she wants to go to Ashley's
(02:57):
float for the Pride parade and just well and Justselle
will be there and we know the history with that.
Monique says she isn't interested in any part of drama,
but she still addresses she'll still address it if she
needs to. I was very excited to see Monique back.
I saw at Bravocan. She's lovely, She's lovely, so beautiful.
(03:17):
So did you meet her? You met her at Bravacan
as well? Yeah, did you feel like you kept seeing
the same people at Bravocan. I feel like there was
so much more talent and I only passed, just like
like in passing at Bravokhan, I feel like, there's so
many people I didn't see.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
I feel like I saw pretty much everything. You know,
I didn't you know who wasn't there this year? Ladies
of London?
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Is it Listra?
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:42):
There was.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
I feel like there was a lot of talent missing.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Maybe I'm wrong.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, no, no, there was.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
I wish they would have brought Housewives of Rhode Island.
I would have loved to have seen their face. I'm
surprised they didn't have them on stage.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
They're so excited.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
They should have brought them out. Remember back when New
York was announced, brought them out on stage?
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah? But did he announce New York's from a back
not to digress.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
I think he did, and we just don't. We don't
know who the cast is. I mean, I know a
few people coming back, but I'm not going to say
but we don't know who the cast is. Can only
assume that the people that were there are coming back,
So I wouldn't say that firm. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Now,
Wendy tells Eddie that she's upset because her dad didn't
(04:27):
wish her a happy birthday. She hasn't seen her dad
in twenty years. Her stepfather took over the fatherly role
for her, but he passed away when she was about
thirty nine years old. So I have a confession. My
mom's birthday was a day after the reunion, and I
forgot that it was her birthday. It happens, and I
felt so bad because I was just in such a
(04:49):
state and so sad and just beat up that I
told Eddie, oh my god, I forgot to wish my
mom a happy birthday. And he goes, O Kars, She no,
and he goes, oh, I did, I go. He's all, sorry,
I didn't remind you.
Speaker 4 (05:05):
You're looking out, Addie. Yeah, yeah, thanks for looking out. Well,
here's the thing. She hasn't spoke to her dad in
twenty years. Why would this birthday? Why would she expect
one this birthday?
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I don't know. I don't know if stepfather died or
I don't know if maybe he does wish her happy
birthday although she hasn't seen him, she.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
Said, I haven't. She hasn't seen her dad in twenty years, but.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
He could still wish her happy birthday or not.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
I didn't get.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Enough information information because you know, sometimes you know, we
bring up things on TV that all of a sudden
bother us, and we expect from things that you know,
It's like a thing, you know, Wendy.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Are you upset for that reason?
Speaker 4 (05:50):
Are you? Are you expecting to call now because your
stepfather died. But I will say this, I have a
lot of respect for stepfathers that take the role of
missing dads.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
And I'm very glad for you that you got a man,
you had a man in your life that took that role.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
So yeah, oh, we just got to update.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Jessel, Sigh and Aaron have been confirmed to come back
for New York. Andy also confirmed that no Jenna, no Jenna,
just those three, so they're building a cast around those three.
No Ogs will be returning, and Andy confirmed that oh
(06:41):
he got he got food. He got some pushback for that.
The fans were not excited about that. They want to
stay from the Ogs.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
But bring me ogs in to teach them.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
I know, I know, I know, I know they need
a little now. Stacy take pictures with her brand Shy
Shio Shaoh Shao, or her new cannabis company. Stacey tells
Ashley on FaceTime about her cannabis line as well as
the name, and Ashley is confused because Stacy was asked
if she was trying to make her own line at
(07:15):
the reunion, and she said.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
No, everything Stacy says gets like it's so confusing, every
single thing.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
Is it why she speaks?
Speaker 2 (07:27):
And I'm standing for the you know, as a viewer,
I'm understanding. And somebody that you know has been on
The Housewives forever. If somebody on my cast was like that,
it would be so annoying.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Sometimes. Okay, so listen.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Sometimes people blame people for lying because they're just not
specific in the way they speak, right.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
So I don't know if I can't believe that every
single time she talks is a lie, because I've been
called a liar before from like, let's say, like a
boyfriend at one time.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
Oh you're alive, But no, I didn't. I wasn't specific.
I'm not lying. What I said is a lie.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (08:07):
I exactly know what you mean because sometimes I don't
get my words out correctly. Hayden's always telling me that
you don't get your words out, you don't explain things,
and I going, no, no, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
If if Stacy's just Stacy gets her words out, she's
very elegant and the way she speaks, she's just very poised.
And I don't know if it's a QBC training or what,
but she's always on display. Okay, So Angel gets Angel
gets lunch with her big sister. Now, I wish I
(08:40):
could see Angel this out spoken with the other ladies
as she was with her sister. She was, she was funny.
Angel tells her that Gazelle called her a catfish. Her
sister says that Giselle and Wendy also photoshop their photos
and Bravo, you know, was there to throw up the
some photoshop pictures of the two of them.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Else they do everyone do?
Speaker 2 (09:01):
They even talked about Giselle's neck and I was like,
oh my god, the neck. Angel says she feels misjudged,
but she's willing to give the girls a chance.
Speaker 3 (09:14):
I think she handled it well. And you know this
is Angel's.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
First season, right, Yeah, so first season, you don't know
your place yet. Give her till second season and she's
gonna come out of the box.
Speaker 3 (09:26):
Let me tell you, she.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
Did ask me at Raba Kanf for a little bit
of advice about the situation. I think she I think
she feels like she's coming off a little two weak
in the beginning, But when we see her say things
like this, you know, I know she has it in
her and I don't want to see her go away
because I know she has it in her. We saw
her on.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Her by her first season, that little.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Hot mic moment she was having in the car when
she was talking about the girl that came after her.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Man.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Remember that she was very outspoken. We just need to
see a little bit more of that. She asked her family.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Tia asks her family about Lexi's birthday party. Rob says
a lot of people showed up that were uninvited. Sienna
says she called the police because of the people who
came to the party. Now what happened was somebody put
it on Instagram. Before you know it, everybody was shown
up the house. People were jumping on cars, people were
throwing up in the house. And yeah, no.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Wonder why Sianna is not allowed to have parties. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yeah. Gizelle talks about her father's will. His will was
destroyed a week before he passed, which is very sus
Gazelle's thinks it's his wife who destroyed it. She has
no relationship with the wife. She believes that the assets
would either go to her or his grandchildren. That's a
tough one because it's like fighting after the fact your
(10:49):
dad had passed away when you should be mourning him
and moving forward and having all these good thoughts. Now
she has to think about the wife, you know, which
is not Gezelle's story.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
It is very common when a parent passes away or
right before that. It's like so sickening that this happens.
But it happens all the time, all the time, and
it's very sad.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Well, money is the route to all evil, that's for sure.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Yeah, But I mean it just sucks. It really sucks.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
I know a lot of kids who have gotten screwed
out of their parents inheritance by the spouse, and I
know spouses who have gotten screwed out of things as well.
And it's just the fact that somebody's on their deathbed
that worked their whole life to have. When people are
fighting over instead of mourning you, it sucks.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Well, Giselle's told her daughter that, you know, it did
look good in court, that the judge was willing to
hear both sides and look at it and you know,
see what he can come up with. He did not
just dismiss it, which is a good, good deal. Kate
and Greg have a drink. Kay thinks therapy has been
very beneficial to the relationship. Kay thinks that she has
(12:07):
done well at taking the pressure off of the relationship.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
Do you agree with that filming he hates. It's hard
to tell.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
When somebody hates filming.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
He hates it so much. I think she has don't
they live separately?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Now they live separately, that she has.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
A engaged they're engaged, but she has her own condo, And.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
I mean it's it's not a positive thing. I mean
it's like, yeah, we're together, but we live together, but
now we're separated. I mean sometimes I feel like, if
you have that many problems before you get married, it's
long term, it's only gonna get worse.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
She think about times.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
This show doesn't It doesn't always. We are well on relationships,
as we all know.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Yeah, do you see a long term relationship here? Do
you see them getting.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
Off the show? Maybe?
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Yeah, Because you know, Stacy walked in her house and
not two minutes started asking him where he is, where
he stays, what he does, Like, Yeah, I think he
felt very uncomfortable. But bro you know when he's shy enough. Well,
were they together? They didn't meet they met before she
was on the show. Weren't they in a relationship before
the show?
Speaker 2 (13:20):
I think so.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Yeah, So I don't know, it's just I wish them well.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
But yeah, sometimes the show is the grim reaper for relationships,
and a lot.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
Of times, like all on how the editing goes like
you don't really know, like he could have said five
thousand really nice sweet things.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
Right, yeah, but they're like clearly not living together.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Yeah. Yeah, So Wendy and Stacy have lunch. Wendy asked
Stacy about her brand. She thinks that Stacy is copying
her because of the name Shioh and the Nigerian culture
(14:03):
of the brand. Now, I don't know, and she's copying you, Well,
you're all copying me. I mean, there's there's room for
everybody in the in the industry, but it's just kind
of weird. I would be I would be like Wendy, like,
here we are on this show, you're kind of a
pretty much a newbie, and then you're going to do
(14:26):
a cannabis company just like me. I think that I
would take a little bit like hmm, okay, what's going
on here. I purposely would not do that because I
there's no way Stacy's doing this on her own from
the ground up. There's no way. So she probably got
some kind of deal with somebody and collabed with them,
is what I'm thinking, and knowing that one of your
tasks involved. But it does then so much and it's
(14:50):
cost millions, and so I got to believe that there she's.
Speaker 4 (14:55):
The face of She's the face of. Okay, simple, Do you.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Feel like she's trying to copy happy Eddie?
Speaker 1 (15:03):
No?
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Well, Stacey says, SiO means joy, but I googled it
and it says in Nigerian primarily means alcohol are intoxicating
drinks or beer and whiskey.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
So she's lying about that too.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Well, that's what it was, unless there's another meaning to.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
It that she didn't know.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
You should know. If that's your brand, you should know, Stacy.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
Oh, that's a lot whatever. Anyway, Well did you.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Hear Wendy say, do you think Ashley.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
It means to be happy? Where'd you google it from?
Speaker 2 (15:39):
I googled it and that's what I came up with.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Maybe you spelled it wrong. Maybe I don't know, because
it means to be happy. I just googled it.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
So that that even makes it worse because it's happy Eddie.
So now you're doing something that says happy in it.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Okay, that sounds like a big by the way, happy
in me.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
You're all and me because I have happy Tonics, which
is a seltzer.
Speaker 3 (16:04):
There's a lot of words to describe it. But did
you listen? Business on is called Slater.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
That's a good name.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Slater.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
What is it named after? Do you know the town?
Speaker 3 (16:17):
I think the town it's in. Okay. I love Liz.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
I cannot wait for everyone to meet her. Oh my god,
you'll die. But all the girls are funny. I'll explain
when they come out. All I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
So Wendy says, do you think Ashley's going to sing
at Pride? The gays deserve much better?
Speaker 3 (16:34):
And then they go and do.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
A flashback of Ashley singing last year and it wasn't
sounding so good that Wendy, she's funny, Ashley, Wendy and
Stace come wait.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Let me tell you something. A lot of housewives can't
sing and they still sing.
Speaker 3 (16:50):
I know. And why is Ashley getting shipped for it?
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Well, that's what we do on Housewives, we give it.
So Ashley, Windy, and Stacey go to jazz He's wedding.
Now this is really confusing, so they literally fly in.
I think it was Dallas, right? Is that where they
she got married? Was it Dallas? And Ashley says that
it is suspicious that Stacy came only after she and
Wendy decided they would attend, because if you remember correctly,
(17:18):
way back when Stacy declined being in her wedding, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Because they weren't close or something she said.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
And then well the girls alluded that she wasn't going
to be back on the show, So why be in
her wedding if it wasn't going to be you know,
that's not nice. No, it's not nice. That's a TV front.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Yeah, we don't like TV friends.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yeah, So the girls celebrate pride at Ashley's event. Ashley
gives all the girls their drag names, and it's Ashley
Ashtop Angel over her tits, Wendy de Grease, D's Nuts,
Stacy Lick her hosand Tia proper Puss, pro pop, Giselle
(18:01):
serving jizz Oh, Kia, Kierana come inject her. Well, I
did a little chat GPT for drag king names for us,
and yours came up as scum Daddy Dolo, and mine
came up as judge me hard.
Speaker 3 (18:22):
Ooh that's a good one.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Judge me Hard. I just love chat GPT.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
I still haven't downloaded it.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
Oh, it's so good. So then Monique shows up, Gazelle says,
and they do a whole walk in from the feet
on up. As she's walking in, Jiselle has Caesar and
has a smile on her face because she knows camera's
on her. Cameras want to see her go oh. She's like, nope,
I'm a pro. I know what you assholes are going
(18:51):
to do.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
She is smile. I'm just knows how to play this.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Yep. So Jazelle says she wants to know what Monique
is like after divorce. She says, while she was with Chris,
she didn't think Monique was genuine. Well, as she gives
Monique a drag king name. Two, it's doctor do it
a lott. Yeah, but I think she said earlier that
(19:16):
she's not dating. She's just working on herself, So she
ain't doing it a lot unless she's doing it herself.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Yeah, but sometimes they're not honest.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
Do you think the girls knew that Monique was returning?
Their faces, especially Giselle's, looked like no. Kierena wasn't putting
up with it. She's saying, in her mind, we're having
too much fun here. I need to cause some drama.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
You know.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
We can't just all laugh because that's not what housewives
is about, right, we need to stir the.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
So she asked Monique if she's ever met Stacy and
I knew exactly where this pro was going. Oh, I
knew too, And she says, no, Kay wasted no time
getting right into it. She was trying to find a
way to bring up Stacey see dating Chris.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
And that, my friends, is how a housewife does it.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
That is housewife one oh one.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Yes, Monique, let me introduce you to Stacy. Do you
know her?
Speaker 3 (20:16):
No?
Speaker 2 (20:17):
No, Well you're gonna know her, and I'm gonna make
sure you don't like her.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
So this should be fun, but you know, it's enough
with Stacy and it's always on Stacy, like that's getting.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
To be so much, you know, it is?
Speaker 2 (20:31):
It is.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
What would they do without Stacy and the well, the well.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Right now, they wouldn't have too much to talk about
because Stacy and her her fibbs. Let's say they're fibbs,
they're white lies. Maybe I don't know what you want
to call.
Speaker 4 (20:45):
Either their white lives. Or she's not explaining herself like
she should.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Well, she's very good at it, not explaining herself or
talking around it.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
Yeah. Good.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
I think it's all her QBC training.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
Okay, Well it's talent. It's the way politicians answer things. Yes,
they give you an.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Answer, politician of Potomac. Yeah, there you go, she's a politician. Well,
there you have a guys, thank you so much for
tuning in to another episode of Two Teas in the
pot and.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
See you Ali episode.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Yeah he's really good Bye,
