Speaker 1 (00:02):
To Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and camera
je Edge.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of two Teas in
a Pod with myself, Teddy Mellencamp.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
And Dolores Catana. Teddy, I had so much fun. I
don't think I've laughed harder since the last time I
spoke to you. But I'm not going to laugh this time.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Have anxiety this time.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
I have anxiety. What the fuck? Like I want to
take a shot. I don't drink. I feel like I
want to take a shot of something. When he's going
on here? What an episode? Yeah, it was a lot.
It was a lot. The entire thing.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
There wasn't even a moment of reprieve, not for a second. No,
not even for a second. Just to give a little
life update to you, guys, I had my immune therapy
yesterday and they did my scans and at this point
(01:09):
there is no detectable answer. Why.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Oh my god, Oh I'm so Teddy. Stop it.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah, so I still need to stay on immune therapy
for another year, and I'm not considered.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Carry on after this sucked the episode? Oh, Teddy, I
know so. I wish I could hug you. I love you.
Thank you for telling me that. Of course I took
my breath away.
Speaker 2 (01:48):
I and then when they told me, I was in
such shock. I was like numb.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
So I'm still gonna be having days when I'm feeling
sick and stuff because i still am in immune therapy.
So I'm still fighting because you have to be. It's
the way they said it works. It's like a year
than two years. Then at three years you're allowed to
be considered in remission and remission. So but that was
(02:15):
huge news.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
You did it, girl. You didn't. You didn't give up
one day. You fought harder than anybody I know. So wow,
that's such good news. I'm so happy.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Thank you. So all the tumors continued to shrink and everything.
So it's it's been good. It's a good day.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
God is good.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
It's a good day until we have to recapital Housewives
of Orange County Away.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Do we really have to money up this news? Just
fucking call it a day right now. Nothing good is
coming out of this episode.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Oh my gosh. Well it starts out a couple of
days after Temecula. Shannon texted Tamar that she was thinking
about me, and she also sent treatment programs for cancer.
Tamra thought maybe it was an olive branch Do you
think it was an olive branch or do you think
it was just her being nice?
Speaker 1 (03:11):
I think it was just her being nice.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Yeah, me too.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah, I don't think it was an olive branch. I
don't see any type of her wanting to be fair.
I just don't see it.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
I'm not seeing any branches of any sort really from
anybody here. Nobody here was holding any wood.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
No, No, it was it was something. It was a
way to get something to you that she wanted you
to have. Yeah, it wasn't. Hey, Tamra, hope you're doing well.
Can you you know I was thinking about Teddy it
was right. I mean, you know you've been on my mind.
Would you mind please sending this a Teddy? It was
(03:52):
nothing about Tamara. It was all about you and olive branches. Hey,
I hope you're doing well.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
I know you've been going through a hard time. I've
been thinking about you and so.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
And then say that yeah, nope, nope, not having it. No,
I'm so happy for you. Do with the kids saying
do they know yet?
Speaker 2 (04:09):
The kids are like, well, mainly it's just slate that
really understands. Yeah, but it's kind of, you know, been
good and bad because her nationals are this week in Washington,
d C. And I couldn't go, you know, because people think,
just because you know the cancer is gone, that I
(04:31):
can't still get sick or whatever. But it's I'm still
in treatment, so I still have a compromised immune system,
so I have to still be careful. How long is
the treatment for the treatment? They said, you know, another
couple of years.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
All right, So if anybody can do that, you can. Yeah,
you'll get through it. More things you'll get through it.
I'll get through it. Then Tama tells Eddie she is
not happy with Heather. She feels Heather doesn't take doesn't
take sides and should stick up for her. Do you
feel Heather is a good friend to Tamara? So I
(05:12):
think that she has been a good friend to Tamara. However,
if I had to just only see this episode, I
would say this wasn't the greatest friend episode. If I
was judging it on just this episode, I'd say.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
No, Yeah, But I would also say that this kind
of feels like Tama was taking it out on who
she was closest with. Which is what we tend to do.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
We all tend to do it. Yeah, but she was
mad at Heather in a previous episode.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Also, and Heather, I was mad at her in a
previous episode.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Yeah. Yeah, so I think as friends. I don't see
them breaking up, I see, but I do see them
having going through a hard time in a relationship right now. Yeah.
I don't. I don't see an end to this. I mean,
I don't see like, oh, this is like they're dumb.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Yeah, I don't. I don't either. And I think they're
going to start getting closer again too, if.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
This season is over. They need a break.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
I think once they get on the trip. I think
once they get on the trip, once there's no more
I'm quitting. Once there's no more Muddy Waters, I think
they're going to start bonding again.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
They will. I think that their past relationship was strong
enough to get them through this. This is just a
bump in the road.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah. Then Shannon tells Heather that her name came up
into Mecula on the trip, and Gina said she didn't
see Heather as a comedian or doing improv. Heather is
hurt by not feeling supported. I so what why can't
they just be supportive of something that she's doing.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Well, they can be, but they're not. They're caddy women
for Caddie, and they're being Caddie to her. And I
don't think that she should be that upset, especially from
where it's coming from.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
But I think I would probably be upset about something
like that. I think it would probably hurt my feelings
if I'm like, if I told you tomorrow, I'm going
to start taking dance classes, but that stated laughing at me.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
Yeah, but that's me, right, And I have to say,
like Gina wouldn't nobody would like it if it was
done to them. However, I'm so cynical. I'm such a
cynical that I expect that, Like, I wouldn't be like,
oh my god, I'm so shocked they said that about me,
you know.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
But could you imagine what Gina would have thought if
she said that about her real estate career.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Oh, she would have not liked it the way the
same way Heather didn't like it. But you know, I
hope Heather now shows them up and shows them how
wrong they are.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Well, the way that she did her sing moan sex thing,
I'd say that improv classes are working. Sure, can you
do a sex mon? Laugh?
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Can you No, I'm trying to think, work on it.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
No, I've seen a very good ones sex and moan
all I could.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
I can't do all three.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
I know.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
You're asking. I'm like, that's a triple thread. I cannot.
What am I ventriloquis to.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
You're like, hold on, how am I supposed to do
any of this?
Speaker 1 (08:49):
This is so stupid? I know.
Speaker 2 (09:05):
Then this next part made me nervous, also gave me anxiety.
Jen takes her son to go get a tattoo. Jen's
ex husband sat their kids down and told okay before okay.
The entire scene was scary to watch, but Jen talks
about how their ex husband sat them down and told
Ryan as the one who took their mom. However, now
(09:25):
they like Ryan and they feel like he's a supportive guy,
which from what we've seen, he is a good stepdad
to them or future stepdad he is.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
And she's crazy for him. She is wild about this guy.
Like I mean, I'm happy that she could feel that
way about someone good for her. But I felt bad
for the kids because I thought I give them credit
for standing their own ground on how they made their
own opinion about Ryan.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Yeah, and he earned it.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
He said they were like, listen, we found out for
our elves. And Ryan said in the beginning, which is
very big of him, I'll I'll earn their them and
and I'll work on having them like me. And you know,
for me, it means a lot. When somebody's good to
the kids, That says a lot about who he is,
(10:17):
regardless of whatever else may be going on there. You know,
it's a lot for for somebody in that position to
put anything on the kids. So I just I felt
bad because them saying that. I hope they didn't feel guilty.
And I hope their dad didn't get mad at them
by the nice things they said about Ryan.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
I hope so too. I hope.
Speaker 1 (10:39):
So I was thinking that, I was like, fuck, it's
gonna bust.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Their balls when I know, what is he going to say?
What is he going to think?
Speaker 1 (10:45):
But you know, if he said that in the beginning,
is probably going to say something to them for saying
nice things about I just hope he doesn't. They're nice,
they seem like nice men.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
Well, it really made me my heart race when he's
getting the tattoo. I mean, it was so scary to watch.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
When he starts to like seize doings up fainting, and
that happens when people faint, and I forget that it
makes me. It made me very nervous. She of course
got nervous, and I hate for him to go to
boot camp at the Marine Corps. I have family. My
brother's a marine, my father's a marine. I tried to
(11:25):
join the Marines. My parents wouldn't let me because I'm
a girl. But they're gonna bust his chops when he
gets there. From this scene, if they know anything about this,
I feel bad for this guy.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
How would you feel about getting tattoos and taking them?
Speaker 1 (11:40):
I don't about my kids getting tattoos, Yeah, and bringing
them for it. I don't do that.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Yeah, I didn't think you would.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
I saw my daughter had a bird tattoo on her ankle,
almost punched her teeth in.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
I'm like I thought, feeling he wouldn't be the mom
to take somebody to get a tattoo.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
No, anyway, my son would pass out, just like he did.
My son's in finance. He's not even going into the Marines,
and he passes out when he gets shots. I'm not
taking him definitely. My daughter had to do it behind
my back.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Yeah, And then it was a surprise.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
I was like, what's what's that? And and I was like,
don't act, don't don't do it, do not do it.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Well. I had a friend and right when we graduated
high school, she got a tattoo on her on her butt,
and her mom came in and saw it, and so
she went in to go get it taken out. But
they were like, oh, we can't laser it off. So
the mom goes, okay, then just cut it out.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Did they Oh my.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Holy shit, we can't laser it off. Okay, then you
can just cut it off. Good mom, cut it off.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
Good woman. She was not getting around. That is sosay, Derek.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
I know, beyond Emily's really in the mix here, Emily
tells Tamar that she was surprised by what Gretchen was
saying because it was not on brand with how she
likes to portray herself with the Christian behavior. Emily says
in La her Enslade had a prayer moment before getting
in the car, and Tarama says, she's hiding behind Jesus
Jesus curtain.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Do I think that? I mean, I don't know a
lot about Gretchen. To be honest with you.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
The only thing I know about Gretchen is things that
have happened over ten years ago, right, because she's just
coming back after right, But she's come back and she's
only brought back the past.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Yeah, I mean, I mean, I know a lot of
people Christian, Catholic, all all different religions, and you know
people that go as far as to have a prayer
before they get in the car, which is beautiful, a
family prayer. Kind of don't go on like that. Like
(14:03):
Amy van Horne. Her husband used to be a basketball player.
She was a Catholic from Utah, right, And they came
because he was playing for somebody in the area. He
was on a professional basketball team. And she was standing
outside the school and her daughter came out and said, Mama,
this boy's picking on me and instead of me like
(14:25):
me coming from Patterson, going to confront his mother and
you know, tripping the kid when he comes out of school,
the animal that I was back then, Amy van Horn said,
the Christian person she is will pray for him that
he has a better day. I don't see that in Gretchen.
I learned a lot from Amy van Horn and if
(14:45):
she ever hears this, thank you for that. I don't
see a lot of that in Gretchen.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
So whatever, it seems like she has so much like
residual anger.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
He does, which is the core to the religion she's
weeks is about forgiveness.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah, which it makes it hard for me to like,
it makes it hard for me to believe. One, it's
hard for me to believe her in general, because we
didn't talk about this last week because we weren't on together.
But the fact that she's gone back and forth on
all the things that she said, Like she said, you know,
I didn't bring up the guy, but she did bring
(15:22):
up the guy. It wasn't just Slade. She brought it
up in the car. Then she says I didn't go
to the hospital, but then she said she did go
to the hospital. Like it's just so repetitive on her
going back and forth. And I'm like, do you either
A have a terrible memory or B you're just an asshole.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
When you're telling the truth, you don't have to remember anything, right,
that's true. So that's very true. But but their story
doesn't change when it's the truth.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
Yeah, it's pretty easy to remember when it's the truth.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
And I you know, I'm not anyone to speak on
what's in somebody's heart or what they believe in or
what their religion is. I'm not speaking on her behalf
on that. I'm not doing it at all, not saying
she's not a good Christian. I'm not saying Emily saying
what I see.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
No.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Then Emily says during the game at Heather's sleepover, she
and Heather both picked Tamara when they asked who they
trust the least. She worries if Tamara gets mad, she
will look something up. Emily tells Tama she can't have
clean hands all the time and make everyone else the villain.
I don't think I've ever seen worse timing in my life. Like, hey, Tamara,
(16:41):
party looks great, by the way, everybody. Before everybody gets here.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
I'm going to let you know that we trust I said, yeah,
we trust you the least, and even your best friend
on this show at this moment said the same thing.
So what I want to say to that is, first
of all, that's Tarmar's house is beauty fall so nice.
The party looked amazing, Tama looked adorable in her skirt,
and it was looked like a very cheerful, happy party
(17:09):
to be had. I feel like because the timing was
so bad that Emily just wanted to get the fuck over.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
She just wanted to get it done with immediately.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Yeah, she ripped off the band aid.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
She's like, I don't, I gotta just I got to
do this.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
I gotta drink my poison because I got to tell her,
and I want to get it over with right now.
And it was so weird because she's standing there, the
poor cake lady with her gluten free cake. She wanted
to probably shove her face in the bowl. I'm an
anxiety eater. I would have been like. It just made
a tense to the rest of the evening. Could we
not have actually gotten on with the party and maybe
(17:47):
had this pow wow outside around the fire.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Pit after the cake sort of done?
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Or yeah, to some extent, let's see the cake. Why
does it have to be right on? Like, let's just
make this an awkward party, an awkward moment. And it
was awkward because you know what, you should have left
after you said that, because now Tarma runs out of
the room. You shouldn't. She's like this isn't my house.
I'm not sure what to do right now, Like, couldn't
(18:16):
we have at least got it go in, at least
got the project going. It puts Tarma on defense at
her own house.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
Yeah, it puts her completely on the defense. She's now
going to have to have a conversation with Heather. And
it kind of felt like a pileon.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
It did, And that's why I feel like I would
have liked to had the mood of the party get
going a little bit. But I really I don't know
if Emily was told to do that or Emily decided,
like I got to get this over with because I'm
shitting my pants that I have to tell Tama this.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
But she could have just told Tamar about herself. Why
did she have to also tell her about what Heather
said because she wanted to come camera, I know, But
if she was just coming on how she felt.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
Yeah, so you know, and then Tamra runs out, that's
one oh one. She can't keep running out of these scenes. No,
I don't want to see it anymore. She has to stop.
She's been around long enough. She can stand her ground
and she could fight, and she could go against anybody
She's ran out of every single fight. I know she
(19:23):
doesn't have a lot left in her There's a lot
going on in her life at the time, as who
knows better than you what it is. But she can't
keep running out. No, No one likes to see.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
That because then she runs out, and then they are
all sitting around awkwardly not having the conversations that they
need to ultimately have.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
You know, grown women, grown women can't keep running out
of fights. No, And unfortunately, I think Tamra would agree
with that.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Yeah, I think probably watching it, this was probably a
very hard episode to watch back.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Yeah, and so was last week and the week before.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
I saw this with Portia this year too, coming back
after being gone for so long. She ran out of
a lot of fights, and towards the end she stopped.
Somebody must have had a talk with her, like enough,
yeah enough.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Well, Tamra says she talked to the wife of the
artist she allegedly slept with, and the wife gave Tamara
a screenshot that said, Jen PEDRONTI just followed her husband.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
Do you think I'm confused? Teddy? Can you explain what
this means?
Speaker 2 (20:44):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Well, not like Tamra bringing out something that like they
were just accusing her of this, and then this is
bad timing too.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Yeah, I mean I think what happened was so Jin,
here's the story. It's not bleeped out in real life.
So she knows the actual name of the person Jen,
here's the story, and then immediately goes and follows this
guy on social media.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Oh, why do I think in my head she's following
him in a car? Why did I what's wrong with me? No,
she is actually wrong.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
No, she follows him on social media and then Tamara
has the proof.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
I just go back to eight okay, which ends.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Up irritating me later when Jin just can't be like, yeah,
I followed him, because I want to know everything that
goes down.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
One thing. Get, I've seen Tamara actually own most of what.
She's like, yeah I did, Yeah, I did it. Does
she do like, don't make me look get an asshole? Here?
Does she always take accountability? You can't always agree what
she does, but you can't agree that she she owns it.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Yeah, she's like, yeah, I printed it out. I don't remember.
I wouldn't remember, so I wanted to remember. This was
at five thirty three pm.
Speaker 1 (22:12):
I have a bad shorts her memory. Yeah, I'm printed
it out and I made a poster board. I'm going
to bring it to the reunion in a envelope in
case I forgot, I'll I'll have a couple of copies
in case I lose one. So what does Jen say.
She can't say, she can't deny it.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
She pretty much was just like, well, I didn't know
who it was, and I wanted to just like a
wormy response. But she hasn't even confronted her yet because
first Tama brings up that Heather believes Gretchen's lies, and
Heather says, Gretchen believes what she says when she speaks,
it is her truth. Can we talk about her truth
(22:54):
in general? When people say you're truth?
Speaker 1 (22:57):
I can tell you what I think it is. Go
ahead in my thing, what my definition of her truth is,
what in her mind she thought really happened, which I
just said about Gerty in the last episode where she
looked at everybody saying, no one stuck up from me.
And then they showed a clip that Gertie asked to
(23:17):
show where people were saying it was wrong. Yeah, at
the table, but in her mind when all that was
going on, she had tunnel vision and didn't see anybody
sticking up for her.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
Okay, when someone says my truth, they are usually referring
to their personal beliefs, opinions, and perceptions, which are based
on their own experiences and perspective, even if those views
are not objectively or universally true.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Correct.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, yeah, so that's the doesn't mean it's true. Doesn't
mean it's true. So I don't want to hear your truth.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
Your brain plays tricks on you all the time. We
can all be guilty of remembering how something happened, or
you could just be a flat out liar.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Yeah, what about just saying the truth?
Speaker 1 (24:04):
About just saying how about just owning it? How about
just saying that's what I did. I followed the guy
because I wanted information about you. That's what I did.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Grant it's not going to look the best, but whatever.
But then Tama tells everybody she spoke with Katie and
is planning to meet with her. Something in her gut
tells her that Gretchen told Katie that Tama drugged her
and went to the hospital. Emily now says she is
hurt that Tama's meeting up with her. How do you
feel about Emily being upset at Tama for meeting with Katie.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
I don't think Emily should be upset with Tama. I
think Tamara needs disclosure and needs to know this, And
it's got nothing to do with Emily's meeting Emily. I mean,
she's not meeting Katie to become friends with her. She's
not meeting Katie to go against Emily or find something
out about Emily. She's meeting her for herself and something
that she needs to know for sure.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
I mean, Tamar made an excellent point and that when
they were all fine to sit around with Gretchen who
was saying Tama drugged her and also that Tamar had
an affair. But she can't meet with Katie.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
Yeah, Like I'm so like not into that, Like I'm
not buying that she can meet with Katie as she
did yesterday and posted huh.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
I didn't even see that then, So much for that.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
And anyway, you guys all don't what he's all worried about.
So what if she meets with Katie and then Katie
turns on her, that's on her. Yeah, he do you
care if she wants to meet.
Speaker 2 (25:39):
She wants more information because clearly Gretcher's which clearly Gretcher's
isn't being honest.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Yeah, there's not one person there that would not do
that for their own information.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Sorry, And I feel like, how come I didn't ask
Tamra if Katie told her what she needed to know? Fuck,
you'll get the information.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
I'll get it. I'll get it for us.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Then will you text me or can tem? Can someone
tell me? Was it at a productive lunch? That's all
I want to know? She got a hammer? She did
she get? Was it worth the abuse that she took going? However,
Tamora should sit there and say, none of you fucking
guys trust me anyway? So what do I have to
(26:27):
lose your friend?
Speaker 2 (26:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:29):
Because when you're my friend, there is no more I'm
nothing offends me more than you telling me you don't
trust me. Then somebody does that doesn't trust me. I'm
offended because guess what if you're accusing me of that,
maybe I shouldn't trust you.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
Right. Then, tamar tells Heather that this is the last
time she will film after what Heather did to her.
Tamra says, Emily told her Heather doesn't trust her. Heather
(27:10):
says she is hurt by her She brings up the
ground links conversation, and she brings up the comments about
her dad, the about how yeah, and how that's what
she was meaning. Do you believe that I believe that
(27:34):
Heather was trying to share a moment with Tama about
her family and how she's affected and as much as
I hate to use the word triggered by certain responses, Yes,
but I don't know that I necessarily believe she would
(27:54):
have said that Tamar's the person she trusts the least
if Tamar what had been sitting there.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
She said it pretty freely. Yeah, she didn't hesitate, she
didn't say, oh jeez, let me think about it. She
just I knew. I I think I don't. I don't
find a lot of things Heather did so really horrible
this season, And you couldn't agree. Yeah, I think I
(28:25):
think Tamora is very sensitive and I felt like I
think she felt she was on an island by herself.
I think Heather tried at times to really be there
for her. But this whole thing rub me the wrong way. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
I didn't like it either. I did not like it
one bet, and I felt like it was mean. It
was me.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
You know my import. What I would have said to
everybody there is you know what, I love all you girls,
but there isn't one here sitting here that I would
actually want to share my deepest darkness with, because at
some point you're probably going to turn on me. If
I piss you off, you'll anybody will probably bring it up,
and everybody has shown to do that.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Yeah, there was an easy way to answer that question
without singling out one person.
Speaker 1 (29:16):
There was a diplomatic way correct and if somebody cared
enough to give it some thought. I think she was
I'm going to tell you the truth. I think she
was mad at Tamora when she said that. Yeah, I
think she's holding some grudges for her yelling at her.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
And you know, yeah, because I think because I do
think Tamara and Heather are close.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
They are close, and I think that I think that
Heather is holding some resentment towards Tamra and that's why
she said it so easily. She might believe it and
she might mean it. I could be wrong, but I
think that Heather finds other ways to answer things without
giving actual answer, and I think she could have done
(29:59):
it here too.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
Yeah, she could have actually done it a lot differently,
because I think it just started the whole evening off
wrong and made everything This is a hard episode for
us to even talk about, guys, and we love to talk.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah, I'm told you. I didn't. I'm so happy to
see you. I was not interested in talking about this
episode right now, and we started off with the best
news ever, So how bad could it be from here?
After hearing that you're okay, everything else is very trivial
to me.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
Well, thank you, thank you. Then Gina and Heather sit
down to continue their conversation. Heather wants to be surrounded
by people who emotionally support her and thought that that
was Gina. Gina apologizes. I will say Gina going up
against Heather and making Heather work a little for her
check this season, even though Heather did have a right
(30:52):
to be upset.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
So I'm going to tell you why Gina got so offended,
Because Gina was like, why do you so? Why is
it when I do it it's so bad? Why do
you come hard on me when everybody else sitting there
was saying it and she's not wrong, but she was.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
The one kind of saying it the most.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
She was she's like, I don't think she's funny. I
just don't think who thinks she's funny? Like I don't
think she's funny. Like that's what Gina was saying.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
Yeah, I was like, uhh, but she does know that
she was like a sitcom actor and she knew those things,
and if she wants to better herself and she wants
to go in and do something new, like there could
have been a bet they could have made one little
comment like, oh, that's interesting. Never thought she was that funny,
(31:46):
But I.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Can't believe it. Hey, listen, Yeah, yeah, I think anybody
who's smart and witty could be a comedian. I think
you have to have a brain, which I think Heather has.
She could be witty, and I think that it'll be
just fine. I mean, she's been in the game a while.
We forget because she's on the Housewife. She did do
this stuff.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Yeah, and she did have to audition to get into
the Groundlings exactly, so it's not like they just let
anybody in.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
So you know what, Heather, I'm going to let you
know that I will come to one of your shows
when you become a comedian.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Only one haha.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
Well, I've never gone to see Lawan's show. There's a
few shows I've never gone to see. But I am
going to go out on the limb, Heather and tell
you that I will even fly to come see you.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Okay, I love it. I love it.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Only if you make up with Tamra, because I'm not
getting Tamra madt me.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Oh yeah, I don't. Nobody wants that. Then Tama brings
up the screenshots to the group. Jen initially denies following
him for nefarious reasons, but in her confessional she says
she was hoping the guy would say something once he
saw Jen follow him. The fact that Jen tried to
make an issue out of the screenshot being printed and
waiting until her talking head to admit she wanted info
(33:03):
like your mask is slipping gen like Jen, Jen Jen.
Speaker 1 (33:14):
I don't know that Jen can handle being a housewife,
a well rounded housewife, like she could handle getting like
piled up on. But I don't know that she could.
She's tough enough to come back because she doesn't handle
it well, do you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Well, because she just doesn't in the moment, she doesn't
fight back, right, she.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
Doesn't fight back in the moment, and then when she
goes and tries to do something, it just she looks bad.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
Yeah, and then she can't handle it.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
She can't handle it.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
She can't.
Speaker 1 (33:50):
You're not a fighter, Jen, so just be what you are, yeah,
just right, Yeah, or just to say like, yeah, that's
what I did. I did it.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
I did do it, and I wanted to see why.
I wanted to stalk him. But you can stock somebody
without following them.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
And anyway, duh, get a fucking fensta.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Yeah, I mean, but you don't even need that. It's
not like he's private. He's a public figure, so you
can just go on his page and look, what did
he think? She was like she was hoping he was
going to reach out to her.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
Oh yeah, let me reach out to you about something.
You know.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
Ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
It's a ridiculous nonsense that I don't want any part
of gossip.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
Like what, there's no sense.
Speaker 1 (34:44):
That's why I'm saying. It's like amateur moves. Don't be
something you're not. Don't try to be it's not gonna work.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Then we watch a lot of awkward cake making, which
I was surprised by. Some How some of the cakes
turned out looking so good.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
I know, I you know, that's a really a little
thing I would have enjoyed. That's why I was mad
that she had a ruin And when she walked in Emily,
couldn't we get the cake shit going?
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Get the cake shit going? Then fight outside later with
some champs. Thank you, that's what.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
We need over whose cake was better? Let's start with
that fight and then digress onto the real problems.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Yeah, we don't need all that. Then Tamar starts crying
to Heather about how Heather can't trust her, and Heather
feels like Tamar gets angry when she talks about her feelings,
and then Tamar says she's dealing with a difficult thing
and Heather is not helping. Heather says they should talk
about it at another time, and Tamar says, have a
great season, walks off upstairs. Tam no more walking off
(35:52):
and quit, No more.
Speaker 1 (35:54):
That's it, you know, Tamra, This isn't This isn't how
we do things. This isn't how we get things done.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
No. So, so, all in all, what do we even
have to say about this episode? It sucked, Yeah, it
really sucks.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
I don't really have a lot to say except that.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
No, this was a painful episode to reach.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Oh everything about it sucked, the poor kid going to
the Marines, fainting when he's getting insane, like we can't.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
It was at one moment where I was like, ooh,
this makes me so happy. The entire thing sucked.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
It sucked. It just everything about it really just.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
I mean even Emily's son thought it sucked because they
didn't deliver as cheese pizza. They gave him pepperoni. He
thought it sucked too.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
He agreed.
Speaker 2 (36:45):
So yeah, so, you know, to say about it, we
thought it felt that.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
I hope the next episode you could. You're only as
good as your last episode, so we have some more
to go before the reunion. The union hasn't filmed yet,
and we'll see what happens, but we need some redemption
from this episode. Hate to tell you.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Yeah, for sure, we do. We do. Thanks guys for
tuning in to another episode of to Teas in a Pod.
We appreciate you, guys, We appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Thank you
