So I already feel like I know you.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yes, Ebony and Ivory, Oh yes, I love that. Okay,
so let's jump into it.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
First. I'm going to ask some bravocon questions.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Okay, I want to get into because I know that
you are a very really you have a cool story,
so I want to get into more of some of that.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Okay, here at BRAVOCN.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Is it your first No, actually, I've been to several.
We're in season twelve right now. Oh that's okay. Wow, Okay,
see that's something I didn't know. Okay, everybody, she's a pro.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I needed to call her because this is only my
second BRAVOCN, so I needed to call her first to
get the tips. What has what has been your favorite
BRAVOCN experience or year favorite BRAVOCN experience or year or
worst Bravo con Any fun story that you can give
us about if you've been her twelve Yeah, that's only

(02:00):
not twelve Bravo cons though, probably fine.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Maybe yeah, something like that.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Okay, there's a lot of us that are not that
vetrund On Bravo coon, So tell me something give me
a juice.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Favorite Bravo Khan was the time. My husband doesn't always come,
you know, he's cow mild mannered. He kind of stays
out of the limelight and things. And he came to
the Bravo Khan that way and the women were just
all over him, calling.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Him daddy and we love you, daddy, and I was
just that was a lot of fun.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Oh.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
They were giving him bracelets and stuff, and I, oh
my goodness, I.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Don't want to go home and hump my husband after that. Yes, yes, yes, yes,
that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Okay, okay, so then that was your best What what
year was that one?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I couldn't tell you. Do you think three ago or
maybe three or four?

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Four years? And he did not come this time.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
No, he's not here.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Okay, so you're here. Now.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
How is your relationship with your all the people you were.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
With casts with?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Most of them pretty good? Most of them pretty good? Yeah, okay,
well maybe one or two.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Okay, So give me some juice on that.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Oh, I don't want to listen. You're gonna please give information,
you know what.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Honestly, I'll say, I don't know why Toya is so
angry that I'm running for office. All I want to
do is help my community. She does not live in
my community. She does not know what the positions mean.
I clearly asked her, and I don't know why it
makes her mad that I'm running for.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
You just set me up at the tea box on
golf course, Okay, because I was that was good. I
was gonna go into your office, the office you're running
for all.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
That's pretty much. Wait wait, wait why I.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Want to help the audience that is listening to this.
What is what?

Speaker 4 (03:36):
What?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
What started that? Or how do you know that she
has this beef about the about the.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Running you running for I didn't think we had any beef.
She started out this year just mad that I was running.
When she found out I was running.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
She say, she said no, she said, I'm.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Not voting for you. You're not.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
And I'm thinking, like, why do you care? I'm not
in your district. All I'm trying to do is help
my people. Is really nothing other than community service to
my people.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
You know, I'm shocked right now.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Now, I've got to tune into that. I don't have
enough hours of the day to watch this.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
I need to I need to go home them tonight,
I'm gonna skip my dinner plans and I need to
watch this then, because that's good. That's crazy Number one.
I would I don't understand I would. I would want
to watch it so I could see if I could
read from her anything of why she's doing that. But
I'm gonna ask you a honest question. Do you think
she's doing this for the camera to cause a beef

(04:32):
with you?

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Yes? Because beef because I had I was gonna say.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I don't understand why anyone would be upset with any
friend running for office, unless you're a Republican voting Democrat
x y, you know what I mean, Like that would,
But for someone running for office like to help your
your small community, I don't understand where the beef could
come fro.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
I think she thinks it's cute.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
However, it's the people that are going to stuffer because
they don't know my story and why I'm running, you know,
and I really run it from heart, And I think
that people are sick of politics as usual, They're sick
of the status quo, and I'm stepping up and stepping
out and doing something to help my community.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
I don't see how they can make someone angry.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
I won't matter of person, I agree with you. But
so now then you just led me to my next question.
Why did you decide to do this? What were you
talking about when you just said that this is something
you were doing because you are sick of the status quote?

Speaker 1 (05:23):
What are you trying to change?

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Or I can tell you read my whole story.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
I'm a girl that can you give me that we
you know we do on your next thing, but can
you give me the fast version here?

Speaker 1 (05:34):
I am very curious right now.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
I'm a girl that grew up in a room with
no windows, but I had a vision. I grew up
on public assistance. You know, I got the free lunch.
I'm that girl. I matriculated to two HBCUs historically black universities,
and they're trying to strip away federal funds for those
I am a medical professional. They're trying to strip away
I'm medical insurance and I you know, and people are

(05:56):
going to die. And I think that I had a
platform that I could step up and step out for
my people. Long story short, these are my people. This
is my community, not just my patience, my community and
my family, and I'm willing to put it all online
for them.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Not not only do I see your passion and feel it,
but I do see it in your eyes, Like I
can tell you are the woman that this community needs
to have because there is something in you. There's a
fire in you. You wore red hello, red hot fire.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
In you that.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
It's palpable in this room right now, Everyone in this
room can feel it. So I hope that you're getting
through in your community in that way because that's what
I feel.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
But I just think you can't slow down. Then you
gotta go. I get to, I get to. Our community
needs a voice. It needs a voice in Washington.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Do you have is there anyone running with you that
is a hard like a good candidate that is like
or do you even have any idea like how close
you are to Absolutely?

Speaker 4 (06:59):
We have one income but he does not show up.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
And during the polls, I was ranked tied at number two, Okay,
and that's before I even started my candidacy. So my
support has been amazing and I'm just excited about helping
people in my community.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Good wow, Well we have to leave it on that note.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
But what I'm what I want to say is I
hope people tune into this podcast and also like like,
research you a little, and I'm going home to watch
mary S about this other this other cast member. I
just got to tell you, I gotta I gotta do
my research and see why she's angry, because I think
it is. I think it is actually probably for TV.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely well, it's a.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Blessing to have you here today. Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Thank you for your supers always in the two hour
bombshell makeup.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Yes, thank you, thank you, thank you, doctor heavenly will
see you soon.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Thank you. Bye bye bye

Speaker 3 (07:57):
