Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi guys, welcome to another episode of Diamonds and Rough
with myself Teddy Mellencamp.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
And Hey, I'm Erica Jane.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
I'm Erica Jane who just performed at the Forum. Yeah,
excuse me, give me all the details. I didn't even
know about this in advance.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Well, no one did. It was a surprise little performance.
So top of June I did the Mighty Hoopla in
London and uh Jake'sh're from Sister Sisters was backstage and
he came up to me and he said, Hey, we
have a show in Los Angeles in July. Would you
like to come and do the monologue for Let's have
(00:49):
a ki Key? And I said absolutely, So that's what happened. Yeah,
I mean, you know what a great like opportunity. They
are lovely, the entire band, everybody so kind, and we
got to have a good time. I mean, that's really
what it's all about.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
And did amazing Thank you this morning. I was like,
how did I not know?
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Well, I was in these really high high Lubaton boots,
so I couldn't like run around like I would have
loved to, But it was for the look and you
look hot. Thanks and that was. The point was to
get out there, look hot, be bitching. It's their show,
and just like amp it up and have fun with that.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Exactly what they want. What you did, Thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
I appreciate that. Thank you very much. Thanks. I appreciate that.
So why don't you give me an update on the
mystery man in your life?
Speaker 1 (01:34):
Oh gosh, you guys, pres needs to get on it
a little bit faster, because by the time they figured
out who my mystery man was, we're already done.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Oh gosh. I wasn't expecting that.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, I like had to call things off and then
all of a sudden, I open up the freaking world
Wide Web the mystery man. Oh now, you guys figured
it out.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
So may I ask what happened?
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Yeah, it's just, you know, right now it started getting
to the point where it's starting to get a little
bit more serious. I was like, I don't have the
capacity for this right now.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
So I was serious on his hands. Yeah, And I
was like, and you know, he's he's a really nice
he's a really nice he's.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
A really nice guy. It couldn't be a nicer guy.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
But it was just the place where timing sucks.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yeah, the timing ticks. I don't feel my best, So
when I have downtime, you need to rest. I want
to rest. Yeah, it's not even like about a need
right now. And I think that's the crazy thing about this, Like,
who knows three months from now, something else maybe sure happening.
I don't know. But in the way I'm feeling right
this moment, the second I'm done working with my kids
(02:45):
and doing all the stuff that I need to do,
I want to lay.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Well, you have to, and you have to take care
of yourself. I mean you've been through a lot, and
you're going through a lot still. Yeah, your rest and
your is prioritized.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yeah. And so it was like, you know, there's nothing
that he did or anything like that, but I.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Was just like, well, maybe you could maybe take a
pause and just maybe come back in the future or something. Yeah,
if nothing dramatic happened. Nothing dramatic, man.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
Other than the press being a little slow on it.
I mean, are you almost an next us?
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Uh? Yeah? I actually I have a lot legally going on,
and it's all like storming at one. Yeah. I have
a lot, yes, and one of them is the divorce,
So that should be happening here. I mean it's in motion.
It's always been in motion. But now that Tom is,
you know, sentenced to prison, Yeah, it's time to get
(03:37):
a divorce and all that shit. It's time to share,
you know what it really is. It's just time to
shed all of that and move on when you know,
make the next chapter of my life as best as
it can be.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yeah. Yeah, So that's why I just share it all
with you guys, because I have nowhere else to share it,
So here you go.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
That's well, I'm kind of sad to say that. I
think that he was a really nice guy. But I
understand you needing to rest and just take care of
yourself first. And I think that that's the smartest, healthiest
thing you can do.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
And I think even though right now I feel worse
than I did probably three months ago, I actually was
doing worse three months ago. So I think he was
I needed companionship and he was such a good companion.
It took such nice care of me.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Right, And that's why I don't think you totally like
discard him. I think you just need a rest. I
think he's a nice person. Yeah, and you know, maybe
you need a moment to get like, yeah, we do.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
We do.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yeah. I like nice people. It's the only thing I'll
have in my life.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Well, an older dude with a lot of money asked
me out, and I had to say.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
No, that's fine. You didn't do that in your life.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Couldn't do it.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
It couldn't do whatever, whether it's the teeth, the age,
the whatever. You have to do what's right for you, Teddy,
and everybody has to do what's right for them no
matter what it is.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
That's true.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
This is you know, you get one shot at this
thing called life. Well, dearly, beloved, dearly.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
She came up with that line herself.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Your friend Sonny. All right, so we talk about Orange County?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Can you okay?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
I have I watched, but I also have questions about
this Katie thing. I have a lot of calm. I
have a lot of thoughts you still, I have a lot.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
And the first thing that I want to say is
in regards to bloggers be'ing a part of the show.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
I you go because I have something to say.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
It makes me very irritated because I think it just
gives them more fuel fuel to keep doing it. And
now we're watching a show about people that are wanting
to get famed from somebody else else. It's not on
the show, and I don't particularly love it. And I
also think at this point, the big the powers that
be you need to stand up and say we're not
(06:09):
going to talk about anything that bloggers saying we're not
going to show, we're not gonna tell.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Aaron should also not be taught. Okay, this is I yes,
one hundred percent. I'm also going to say this, Bloggers
should not be coming to Housewives parties. No, I'll tell
you something. And this is sounds petty, but I'm going
to say it, and then I'm and then I'm gonna
go back to your point. Sometimes when we get dressed
up for events, we want to post our pictures, right like,
(06:33):
all right, this is our costume or outfit. We get
we get told no, do you know that shady fucking
bloggers that come to the events post the party anyway,
And so there goes your outfit and all of your
Why are you encouraging these people? You know, like when
they encourage them and you're including them in episodes, you're
(06:55):
including them. I get it. It's it's a part of
content and social media that drives, you know, the audience
and drives the whole thing. But you can't have housewives
reaching out to bloggers, no, giving away information, giving away
the story. You ask us to keep it quiet. You
ask us to be quiet, but.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Then mean just to press that means pressed.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Well, they have their own reach, they have their own following.
So you cannot talk to these people.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
No, And I think the other that's at.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Least how I was taught.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
I was taught that too.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
I mean, there, don't speak about this.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
There's a couple of people that will the way that
Katie phrased it, you know, wrote back.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
You know people, you should not be engaging with them,
say thank you, answering questions and giving up information. That's
not cool.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
No, not cool.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
And you want to talk about us ruining the fucking storyline?
What about them?
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Yeah? I mean the fact that there's been so much
stuff about this Katie thing.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Why watch the fucking why watch the season?
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Yeah, you're ruining the show by talking about this. I
mean the girl that's constantly that's currently talking about Katie.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Why does she know so much?
Speaker 1 (08:10):
Because Katie gave it to her allegedly, it's not cool?
But now we're seeing it all. But the problem is
then we're getting mixed up in other storylines that don't
have anything to do with bloggers, Like I feel like
what happened with Emily this episode, how Emily didn't fully
take you know, I don't think she fully opened up
(08:31):
and was completely apologetic for the things that she did
last season.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
When she doesn't have to be well.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
I think when it comes to the kids stuff, she.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Does, but didn't Katie talk kids talk about her first?
Speaker 1 (08:43):
But is it first first?
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah? It is, it is, Yeah, it is. It's who
picks the fight. I'm not picking a fight, but if
you pick a fight with me, it's fucking w'ere that's cool.
It is who strikes her.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
I actually don't believe you in this moment, because you
wouldn't if I talked some shit about you and your sign.
I don't think you would come after my kids. I
don't think you would have you done that.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
I don't think so I would measure my response. But
what I'm saying is you should not How about this.
You can't judge other people's responses by the way you
would do it. In other words, if you pick a
fight with somebody, if you say something about someone's kids,
in other words, you're opening yourself up for the same
type of pushback, depending on how the person takes it.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yeah, I mean I think you can call somebody an
asshole and then that can make people go back and forth.
But if you're going to bring kids into it, which yes,
Katie originally started the thing with the kids, but then
once they were at the reunion, Emily went full blown
into Katie's whole history of her children.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
To be expected, that's what happens at a reunion, and
that's what happens when you pick a fight. These things happen.
I don't know, you get so what's wrong with you?
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Yeah, this is what's happened.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Hell is going on with you?
Speaker 1 (09:59):
I know I felt I But that being said, I
still okay, come back to us, wake up, wake up?
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Who is this?
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Well, it's that matter. Well either way. The episode starts
up with Shannon picks up Katie.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
I want to say one thing.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
The show looks great, looks so good, and they all it.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Looks great, everything looks good, the girls look good. I
thought that, like when I was watching it, I was like, Wow,
this show looks good.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
So I want to looks it's starting to look more
elevate because I've noticed that. I think they elevated like
Miami and Dubai first, and then now you're starting to
see it, Well.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
It needed it. Look, this is a fifth however, seventeen
whatever long year series going on, it has to change
with the times. You have to elevate, you have to
become current. So I thought everybody looked really good. I
like the photography. Now we can get into this.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
But at first I have to know who do you
think would be we're not including Tamra who you think
you would be best friends with on the show. You now,
I'm not on the show. Well, actually I was on
the show, whether I knew it or not, I was
on Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
No, First, I actually can see why all of these
women are on the show. And they have endearing pieces
to their personality, So I see why they're on the show.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Do you believe why detect your tests?
Speaker 2 (11:16):
I don't want that anymore. I'm tired of that. I
thought we saw it with Lucy Lucy Apple. I don't
want to see that shit like it's a gag. It's
a gag. Okay, it's fucking stupid, and I don't want
to see it.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yeah, I don't want to see a great mode keeping
a positive bullshow.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
It's just I don't want to see it.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
I don't want to see it either. Also, I didn't
I thought that there was always like an out for
that shit, Like I didn't.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Think it was who cares? I mean, you're not either.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
Getting a real one or is it the same time
that's out about the dogs?
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Right? Like? Who cares? The point is it's overused, overblown.
It's a gag at this point, and I don't like it,
So do something else?
Speaker 1 (11:53):
And why are the husbands on the show so much
this episode?
Speaker 2 (11:56):
Well, I mean, look outside of Beverly Hills. I think, well, yeah,
did you see another one?
Speaker 1 (12:02):
But yesterday, hold on, I started trying to do my budget,
trying to figure out exactly how much people make. But
also I went back in time. Did you see the
other one that bit the dust? She said, I guess
like six months ago that she would never believe in divorce.
There's no chance that divorce could ever happen. She's no divorce,
(12:23):
no divorce, never have one. And then I'm like, he's
fucking filed on July fourth. He's not our favorite person.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Well no, he's not yours and my favorite person. But
I just look he's asking her for spousal support, okay.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
And he's asking for her for a lot.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yeah, and she's a working mom. You know, she's got Elouise,
she's got the two other girls that are older obviously,
but come on, man, like, don't do this.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
And also now that he's doing it, did the show
get picked up for a second season?
Speaker 2 (12:55):
Maybe?
Speaker 1 (12:57):
I mean you were on the first season.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
I went out, Fuck, you know what. I saw that too.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
I called on he checked that they didn't have anything.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
It's interesting you should bring that up because I clocked
that too. I thought he had adopted Elouise. They told
us he did so. Then it says in the in
the reporting that he has they have no children together.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
What a dickwad. It's because he doesn't want to have
to ever pay her anything.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
I don't know what it is. I just know that
he should not be asking for spousal support. In my opinion,
she's a hard working girl. I don't care what she
makes on OnlyFans, and I hope she makes two hundred
fifty grand. Like he said, good for you. Leave her
the fuck alone.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Leave her alone. Leave her also, I have you been
to his offices? Says he has absolutely zero income. I
haven't been to them, but I've seen pictures of it.
It is a ginormous place. This is what I don't
like that I'm assuming that she pays for.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
I don't know. Like, look, we can't assume anything. We're
not inside. But I'm saying this, leave her the fuck alone.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Leave her alone, leave here alone in your gross douche lord,
just go away. Sorry, very few men do I despise
as much as that guy. Yeah, well he's he's easy
to he's easy to despise. But back to this, Back
to this, Shannon says she's a completely different person than
she was a year ago. She settled her lawsuit with John,
(14:25):
and then she invited everybody to the Golden Door.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
I'm glad she settled her lawsuit. I've always wanted to
go to the Golden Door.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Me too. Can we go?
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Yep, Let's call him.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
I want to go. Let's call him. But I mean,
it seems kind of how much thirteen thousand dollars. Come on,
we're not I mean, we're going for free and we're
going to post.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Well, don't tell him how we're doing it. I mean
my point is, of course, this is the other other thing. Too,
let's post how much it costs. Okay, great, you know,
but I do want to go.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
I mean, well, it's the same way they tell on
the show.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
How much everything costs.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
If we would normally say.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Hey, come down to my thirteen thousand dollars ninety three, man,
just go to the golden door. Look it up. Everybody
knows how much it costs.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
We all know how much it costs. But when we go,
Oprah's going to be there.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
How about somebody who is a child that did not
know who Oprah was?
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Oh, Jen's so great, so good. And then but then
when she goes who is she? Jen took a second
to how she was going to answer.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Well, I mean it's hard to describe Oprah because she's
like done to everything, an icon of icons, like she's
a legend of legends, like she is the best ever.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
And I'm like, go watch the color purple.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
The color purple, Like there's so many things. I mean,
Oprah's oh, I mean talk about doing it.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
She hasn't asked to come on the pod.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
I know, probably never will. God bless Oprah though she's
fucking one of my heroes.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
This may be what we needed. But then Shannon and
Katie discussed what happened with Emily's kids, and Katie and
Emily's nanny said, the kids said they don't like Heather.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Do we care about this though?
Speaker 2 (16:05):
I think it? Well, look, we care because it reaches
back to the backstory, you know, That's that's why we care.
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
I think you know. Now this is getting into more lawsuits,
and this is where when you get bloggers involved and
then people are talking about you before things air, then
that's when all these.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Why are you spoiling the show? Stop? Stop talking to people.
You should save this for the audience. There are certain things, yes,
like oh hey we went out, but like certain things
like come on, I didn't Katie get in trouble for this?
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Yeah, she got in trouble for this last year.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Well did she get in trouble for it this year?
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Yes, she's getting in trouble for it right now, right because.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Not now I'm on the executive side. Yeah, yeah, right.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
Well, I mean I don't think she's at the fit.
I mean I don't think she's at the final trip.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Oh oh, I don't know. I don't know anything.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Yeah, I don't think so from what I saw from pictures. Okay,
I don't think she was in any of them, and
either the girls all cropped her out or she's.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Not there huh.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
Interesting, which my guess is that she kept sharing. But
I mean, here's the thing. You could almost accept this
for a Season one housewife because not twice, but not
twice like season one, you're feeling a little alone. You
don't know anybody people reaching out to you.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
I mean friendly people are acting friendly, or in this
new media space perhaps you're unfamiliar with you know, like.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Don't try, but then don't do it again.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Also, to let me give you some really good advice, Katie,
if you think that these bloggers aren't going to turn
on you, think again, wait till you wait, till you wait,
till you wait, till you cross one of them or
fall out with one of them. It's not gonna be good.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Granted this never worked for me. But also, have receipts
if you know this is coming, like she knew this
was coming and she didn't have service, you gotta bet that.
I mean, Gina was right. When Gina was like, I
would hold up and show those receipts so quickly, but
I'd have them saved on my phone. They'd be my
freaking screen saver.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
If I needed to defend myself like that in this
group exactly on the SOS.
Speaker 1 (18:15):
Yeah, and then I wanted to know what do you
have because now we need to know now that we're
going to the Golden Door, do we have Verizon? Like,
what are we working with? You? Well?
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I think we need starlink, you know. I mean, I
think we need the starlink which is going to be
on the iOS, the new Apple iOS. So somebody get
us some satellite shit.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
I mean, because we need to make sure that we
can pod from the Golden Door. Duh, duh.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
Bring all of this lovely energy there.
Speaker 1 (18:44):
Yeah, listen to these two bags uppers around here. Okay,
but so you don't have a problem that Emily brought
up the custody stuff at.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Last year's Listen, a fight is a fight. Okay.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Then we see tam Or going to the psychiatrist.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah, what'd you think of that? You know, I psychologist?
I think is she a psychiatrist or psychologist?
Speaker 1 (19:03):
I don't know which one gives pills which one doesn't.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
A psychiatrist is an MD that prescribes meds. A psychologist
does not.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
So I don't know which one she is, but she's
one that she does therapy.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
How did you feel about your name being brought up
in this episode, Well.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
One like Gina is the only one to ask me,
ask about me? What dickheads? I know all of you. Yeah, No,
I didn't actually care about that, but you know, I
don't remember that time in my life.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Yeah, So it's very weird to see it. And it's
almost like I blocked out watching it, even though I
watched it last night, sure, because they like panned to
that picture of me, and it wasn't that I was
like offended that that picture exists.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
It was like I didn't recognize it.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
But I didn't recognize myself for that moment. And I also,
you know, there was parts that made me really sad
for Tamra because I you know, she said that, you know,
in this episode, she's talking a lot about how she's
never really like had a friend that's been there for
her that she can trust, and I think, you know,
(20:10):
the show provides a lot of that. But I felt also,
I can't remember having conversations with Tamar during this time.
Speaker 2 (20:19):
That's okay, you don't need to because what you were
going through is come on, yeah, I mean that's perfectly
normal and okay, yeah, don't don't but beat yourself up
over that, I'll tell you, right.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
But I mean it also is it's a little bit
bizarre when you're on a when you're shown that much
on a show that you're not on.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
I mean, your life is bizarre. Our lives are bizarre.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Yeah, So I mean it's just it was a little
bit weird. But I but I think you know, Tamor's
handling it well. The women brush over it pretty quickly.
I don't know how it would be any different, Like
I I would assume there are some people that are like,
we don't want to talk about this. This isn't our
(21:04):
story to tell.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Yeah, one hundred percent. So in some ways, it's like
it's a very sensitive subject, you know, talking about you
because nobody wants to upset you, nobody wants to, you know,
be intrusive, and no one wants to do that. So
I get it. I get exactly what you're saying.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Yeah, so I think it's a it's a tricky situation.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Like how do you address something like this with being
respectful to you and saying, you know, this is my
friend and I'm sharing my life.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
So it's a little hard time. It's hard.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
It's a bit of a bit of a struggle there,
you know. Tamma said she was crying a lot since
her last appointment, and she also brought up all of
the backlash that she got on the pod for saying
(21:55):
that she could be on the spectrum. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
Yeah, and I thought that as she was sharing that.
And I think Tamra, you know, at first when I
read it all in the press, because it was everywhere.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Yeah, before I was a nice person. Guys, I know
that you see someone on TV. I but we all do.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
That shit, like somebody will mention something to us and
then all of a sudden and the doctor may have said,
you are showing signs.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Who knows it was, you know, maybe not properly worded,
but she doesn't, you know, like, come.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
On, I don't think she was trying to hurt anybody. No,
trying to open up for the like about her personal
journey and her trauma and her things like that. And
so I think that was a little bit of I.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Think she just stumbled over her words and maybe it
came out not the best, But I don't think the
intention was to be mean or her.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Because essentially Emily says a very similar thing. She just
says it better.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Yeah about that.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
You know, when she's talking about her son, you know
he hadn't been fully diagnosed yet, she's talking about, oh.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Well he's not eating, he has tactile Like, poor baby.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
I have a I have a friend who her son
has a similar laying. And it's so tough because it's
not like something that you have an answer to.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
We have to eat. Yeah, is so wild because it's
kind of bizarre.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
And I mean I've seen a I've seen the child
in real life, like literally will not like there's like
five items.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Of food and that's it.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
That's it. Yeah, And so I think there's more kids
or more people out there struggling with that than we
actually know. I had never heard of it before.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
I had not heard of this, But I feel very
badly for Emily because that's hard. You know, anytime your kids, anytime.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
You can't fix a problem, your help fix a problem
your kids are going through.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
It's a rough one, yeah, super rough.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
And then to her and Gina, we're talking about how
you start to guilt yourself.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
Of course one hundred percent that it's your fault.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Yeah, you're like, oh shit, how did I miss this?
Speaker 2 (24:09):
How did I miss this? Why couldn't I have seen it?
What did I do wrong? Did I sit on this problem?
All that kind of shit?
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Yeah? But then we would you get married in a bikini?
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Knew, but I did. I did love it when Tommy
Lee married Pamela Anderson in a bikini.
Speaker 1 (24:26):
That that's Pamela Anderson.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
That's my point, you know, that's my point. Yeah, I mean,
I think Jens adorable. She's got a great body. I
just you know, pam did it, and.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
You already got engaged in it. You don't need to
do it twice, right.
Speaker 2 (24:40):
I think maybe let's let's switch it up and wear
something cute.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
I you know, I could let her borrow my Nicole
Miller dress I wore sixteen years ago, oh my pink
blue batata and burn it. No, I still have it. It
fits my toe.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
Then Heather, Emily and Tama made up for dinner. Ta
updates them, updates everybody on how therapy is going, and
then Tama talks about blocking Katie on Instagram. This is
where we get more into the blogger.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
Situation troll accounts.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
But after she was on our podcast. She made a
post accusing Tama of secretly running the reality Blurb website.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
That's a big website. That's a lot of fucking that's
a real fucking Reality Blurb does a lot of concept.
You got to be full time with that. So Tamra
is running all of these things and Reality Blurb like.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
I'm doing one hundred podcasts.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
That's a reach and a half, babe, because reality Blurb
is busy. Reality Blurb they are constantly cranking out to
stuff like, you know, kudos to reality Blurb.
Speaker 1 (25:47):
You guys are good, Tarama, Do you get paid for
this fifteenth job? But Tamra threatened to get her lawyers
involved if they don't stop, and then, apparently while this
was all happening online, Katie reached out to the Bravo
Babe to talk badly about Tamra, calling her evil and
also accusing Tamar's assistant Katie who is He's on second
year of being talked about.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Wow, Katie Kayden golf Cloud. You know what's interesting about
this show just everybody gets their fucking ass dragged in here.
I mean even the gardener at some point gets dragged in.
Speaker 1 (26:17):
He's gonna do something. He's gonna have forgotten something and
you're gonna, We're gonna nobody's gonna miss it.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
No, I mean, let's god. Sometimes this show I just like,
really yeah really, But then they show the screenshots.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
This is all happened.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
No, wait, so let's go. Bravo Babe then went and
did a podcast talking about how Katie had called her
to talk about Tamra. Yesterday, Bravo Babe spoke to Okay,
saying she had conversations with Katie for over a year,
including a call with Katie and her husband Matt, and
also released this screenshot of her DM and call with Katie.
Speaker 1 (26:54):
Hold on, how do we see oh audio call? Does
it show how many minutes it was? Two minutes? It
could have been a message.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Her assistant lives in Tennessee, but he doesn't.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
Okay, he doesn't. I'm not gonna tell you guys where
he lives.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
But I know Camra went to dinner and caught Katie
in a lie doing it. I mean, if you're gonna, hey,
here's the thing, Yeah, blogger, they're going to turn on
you like, this is gonna this is what happens.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Yeah, just stay just Katie, learn your lesson over a
year and then don't you don't need to. Here's the thing.
If you are gonna engage with the bloggers, that's that's
you know.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
Keep it surface, keep it, keep it surface. Thanks so much.
Oh this is fun. Yeah, I don't know. Oh, thank you.
Appreciate the support.
Speaker 1 (27:41):
But then don't dog them out on the show like
she's like, I don't even know her name.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Whoa did she think like that this Bravo babe was
going to take that on the chin and just take
it for her.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Babe, Bravo Babe's gonna make.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Bravo babes coming out swinging for you. I mean, I'm
just saying like, and and and rightfully. So, if you
fucking do this ship, what do you expect people to
be honorable?
Speaker 1 (28:08):
No, if you're gonna be up Bravo babes ass to
make sure she's leaking stuff for you, she's gonna.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Be up your ass when you turn on her. And
I don't get that. Did you think there's loyalty in here?
Speaker 1 (28:21):
I don't know the chicks thinking. Can you start calling
me my little teapot?
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Yep? You want teapot? Hello, my little tea.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Pat, here's my little tea pot short and stout, pour
me over it, to me over and pour.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Me out, something like that. Well that was not good.
Speaker 1 (28:41):
We hold on that. We nailed it. I thought, yeah,
high five five, okay, I almost cut my finger off.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
What are you doing playing with knives?
Speaker 1 (28:50):
You know me? I was just doing a knife show outside.
I was doing some can do.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
That kind of ship, I said, you know, i'd like
I just I worry about you and then cutting fingers.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
I was trying. No, I was trying ditches stitches did
stitches did?
Speaker 2 (29:09):
God? I did some mushrooms yesterday and they're still with me.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
You did fu?
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (29:13):
How many a lot? Oh?
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Yeah, it's awesome.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Does it make you feel relaxed?
Speaker 2 (29:19):
That's why I'm so slow, That's why I don't give
a fuck.
Speaker 1 (29:23):
I really appreciate it because now you're matching my level.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
I'm really yea, my energy is right with you.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
And I didn't even do mushrooms. You mushrooms. I've never
done it.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
Oh it's nice. It's better than having a drink, I think.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
Because see I can't really drink now. I try to drink,
but I won't do mushrooms. I wonder if they would too.
I wish I liked pot.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
Yeah, I mean I think it like you eat on
that and go to sleep. This makes you just feel
like giggly, Oh like giggly.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Do you take a capsule or do you put chocolates? Chocolates? Well,
when we're at the Golden Door, it might be a
good time for us to try.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
I'll come over here and give it to No, don't,
I'm kidding. I'm not giving teddy. She said, We're not
giving your ship.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
We're getting permission. We're gonna get that hoody relax, mushrooms.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Yeah, I got my fasterday. I felt amazing.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
Oh your birthday was yesterday? Yeah, oh so, no wonder
you were shrewing it up?
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Went up. I've got to do something. I'm telling you what.
These fifties who said that, you know what, My forties
were great. These fifties are a challenge. I mean, challenge accepted.
But this ship is not great.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
Listen, the forties haven't been great for me. I know,
so I don't really know.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
And you know what the thirties, hold on, hold on,
I think that starting in twenty twenties, when both of
our lives blew up.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Yeah, we were doing pretty great.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Then we're doing really good. And then twenty twenty like
Dove Slate's finger, the murder at your house, Da Da
da da, Like it.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Just kept it kept going, and the same for you.
I just kept rolling in and you know what, we
would like it to be a change.
Speaker 2 (31:00):
It's going to be five years and like we need
a moment.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
You need a moment. We need a moment when is
our high going to happen? It better happens soon, and
it better happened like now, that's.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
Why I was shrooming it up.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Yeah, well that's why get doctor's permission, So Carpy DM.
I wonder if we shroomed it up on the pod
if we would sound different. If you guys could test.
Speaker 2 (31:24):
It, I think I would be just as clear, probably funnier,
probably a bit f funnier. Okay, Gina and Emily meet
Katie for coffee. On the way, Emily tells Gina there's
a chance Luke has autism and that sucks. Yeah, I
feel bad.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
It was really hard. You can see that Emily's really struggling.
You can see that even when Emily's talking to Shane,
you can tell they don't even fully know how to
communicate on it because she's trying to protect herself as well,
of course, and then he's just being a dude's saying whatever.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Well, dudes, look, dudes are not the best in these situations,
no offense. But you know, in moms and their children,
it's a different dynamic, I think, And you know, I
feel badly for Emily and it sucks.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
Yeah, and there's a lot going on. But then I
heard that Emily's really getting the crabbeat out of her
this episode for all the Katie stuff versus Katie getting it.
Why because people are mad at Emily for what she
did and not and here we go again. She didn't
fully take accountability for what she did, so people are
(32:34):
what she did at the reunion, what she did last season, okay,
And then how she's behaving this season when she's getting
so worked out.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
That's okay, she's got a lot on her plate. She's
allowed to act that way.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
She's giving what season was your hard season?
Speaker 2 (32:47):
Oh god? Welln't even like she's nowhere nearro how I
was acting.
Speaker 1 (32:50):
I don't know her. When she gets married, she gots
really marred. What about when she put the little food
in her.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
Amazing?
Speaker 1 (33:02):
I was like, what kind of doughnut was that it
would have I would have forgotten about it.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
I've done that sometimes and brought something home and been
like chocolate candy for me, chocolate in my pocket, and.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
Then it'll have melted and then it's all over all.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
It gets washed like that too.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
Yep, Katie's gonna host a hot pot lunch and then
Gina tells Katie it feels like she's trying to hurt
everyone in the group. Then they go through this whole
thing that Jen said something about Katie but she doesn't remember, saying.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
Well, I don't remember it either. Remind me.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
What did Jen's Oh, Jen, I guess called Katie.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Oh, and that she and then she says I didn't
but she did because.
Speaker 1 (33:44):
She didn't even say she didn't. She said, I don't
remember doing it, which I don't think is denying.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
It's not denying. No, it's not denying. But you know,
Bravo's good for that flashback, Honey, come to get.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
You somehow someway we'll probably see.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Okay. So Shannon preps for her Golden Door event, and
Tarma said that she isn't friends with Shannon anymore. She
says that Shannon betrayed her.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
How she's saying that Shannon betrayed her because when she
got booted off the show, Shannon ditched heir.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Yeah, but that was years ago.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
No, but it was only that. It was last year,
was their first year being back together, and they fought
the whole time.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Yeah, because Tama called her drunk and she had hit
the house and it was a thing.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
Did you know she got pulled over again, but not
for drinking.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Oh for speeding or something for like.
Speaker 1 (34:33):
Texting and driving. But it broke the probation.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
Oh does it put her probation in jeopardy?
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Yes, yeah, allegedly, damn it. I saw that. I saw
that when I was perusing.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
The Oh, come on, Shannon Boo. I know, rats, But.
Speaker 1 (34:48):
Now we have talk text you know, but can you
do that?
Speaker 2 (34:51):
I pulled over in the Gelson's parking lot to do
some texting before I pulled up here.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
You know, you can always come early and text from them.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
No, it's fine.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
I I almost said the lobby as I from the lob.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
It is a lobby in here. No, but I just
whipped into the parking lot and just like did some
emails and did some texts because I I don't want
to do that on the road.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Do you think that Shannon and Tamar are gonna make up?
Speaker 2 (35:15):
They should because they have a long history and they
really should put both all of it behind them they
move on. Otherwise, it's just it's, you know, that beef
that festers and then you don't even know what you're
fighting about any longer, and you just don't like let
it go.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
Well. Also, I need more than just the best friendship
of Gina and Emily. I need I need another friend
group because I gotta be really honest and this is
I think that Jen is, you know, likable, but the
Jen and Katie friendship isn't doing it for me.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
No, I think that, Yeah, you need Shannon and Tamara
to be friends, you need more friends. Yeah, it feels
like there's a couple of little friendships happening. Who's Heather
friends with? She keeps it neutral, she keeps she.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Sitting neutral, She dabs where she can. But I think
her work is done mmm elsewhere? Okay, all right, you know,
I think and I got in trouble, she got mad
at me for saying this before, But I think she
is a very intelligent woman. She is, and I think
that she thinks three steps ahead, which is great, which
(36:22):
is great, great, great for her, great for her. But
I think, yeah, I think it shows.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
I got you. Listen, live how you want to live,
be yourself.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
And if that's who you are, it works for her.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Who cares like not everybody's going to be the same.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
I remember I miss being that way.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
I remember had Toed telling me she's like Erica, don't
try to be anything other than yourself because people like
certain things about certain women. They may identify with this
one and their family and this one over here with
their career or this one with whatever they do. So
don't you know, and you don't have to make yourself
into something.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
I agree to be yourself. And tamer says she doesn't
want to talk to Jen, and Jen and Ryan have
been attacking her on social media, and Jen talks about
a Tamra's cease and desist. Guys, stop sending the legal
ship to waste job.
Speaker 1 (37:15):
It's such a waste of money and then nothing happened.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
And nothing happens. It's bullshit.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
It's time.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
It's quick the show or leave if you don't want it.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Because now there's multiple lawsuits going on.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Dick. I don't know, you know, like yeah, like it's
just a really just to waste a fucking time and
I'm tired of all of that.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
But why Okay, And I know we already discussed this,
but it's kind of how it ends. But Katie is
is she playing games here when she's when she doesn't
even bother to reach for her phone?
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Well, it felt to me that way. It felt that way.
It felt very convenient that there was no signal. It
felt very convenient that it was there was no answer,
It felt very convenient. I didn't like it. I mean,
it's great for the show. It leaves it on a
hook and then you can, you know, kind of wonder.
I mean, I'm not mad at that from a from
a story perspective watching the show, but at the same time,
if I was on the show and I would, I
(38:11):
would be like, no, here is my phone?
Speaker 1 (38:14):
Like did you like this episode?
Speaker 2 (38:16):
I didn't hate it. I thought it was nice.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
Okay, So, I mean that was the first episode. But
we have to talk about what happened with me and
Erica the other day. What this was so funny? So
Kyle and I went to do a thing for Oh
my God, a magazine, a magazine shoot. So I'm fully glad.
But then I put on my Jammy's when I was done,
and I rode in the car with Kyle, and then
she was getting out to film and I see Erica
(38:40):
and I like, give her this big wave and you
can tell she's kind of looking at me funny, and
I'm like, she thinks I'm about to film.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Oh. I thought Teddy was showing up for work. I
was like, Teddy, are you coming today? Get out of
the car, Look, Darwed, it's Teddy. Guys, everybody, Teddy's here.
Speaker 1 (38:55):
And then everybody's kind of looking at me and they're
all dulled up, and I am seriously, in jam have.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
Your hair makeup on? You had changed your clothes, you
didn't have on your wig. But the bottom line is
you looked beautiful. And I thought she's gonna come to
this event that we were, you know, filming, and I
was so excited and You're like, I'm not coming in there.
I was like, what do you mean. I tried so hard,
It's like, please just for five minutes, come on.
Speaker 1 (39:19):
But it's like I see that you have closed in
the back right.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
We were trying so hard to get her to come, shoot,
we have closed in the back, get in these clothes.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
I'm like, no, I'm just here because it's en route
to my house. I can't drive. Jen's in the back, right, Jens,
and that.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
I didn't even see Jen in the back, by the way.
By the way, I saw Jen at the forum the
other night, but oh yeah she was there. She I
guess you see cashing, But I didn't see Jen in
the back. All I saught was get ready, Oh my god,
you're here. You're here, and put these clothes on. Everything's
going we see all of them.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
No, but yeah, so that was that's how you know,
that's how rumors get started.
Speaker 2 (39:56):
Yeah, but at you there, I was so excited.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
I'm not even getting out of this car.
Speaker 2 (40:02):
I was like, come on, come on, make it fun.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
But thank you guys for tuning in for another episode
of Diamonds in the Rough. For those of you who
didn't know, once Real Housewives Orange County came out, we
are taking a pivot onto talking about Orange County instead
of ourselves. Yes, but we still will find way to
talk about ourselves eighty five percent of the time.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
Well you know, it'll be mostly us and then those
broads for most see like you know, we're gonna pepper
it mostly with us, and then a dash of Katie, Gina, Tamra,
Shannon and Heather and Emily, Emily, I'm so sorry, Emily,
Chen and Jen. No shade, no shade.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
We're just thinking about ourselves.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
No shade. We're just thinking about ourselves. That's how it
goes down.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
That's our tackline. That's we're not we're not after you.
We're just about ourselves.
Speaker 2 (40:51):
Yeah, we're just about ourselves over here. Thanks for hanging
out with.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
Us today and we'll talk to you next week.
Speaker 2 (40:56):
Bye,
