Who are the best undrafted NFL players of 2025? George Wrighster breaks down 10 overlooked stars from the 2025 NFL Draft UDFA class who could become game-changers.

In this episode of the Unafraid Show, George Wrighster reveals the top 10 undrafted players from the 2025 NFL Draft, spotlighting under-the-radar talent who could make a major impact despite not hearing their name called on draft weekend. From record-setting wide receivers to elite defenders and dominant offensive linemen, these UDFAs are ready to prove doubters wrong.

👀 Featured UDFAs in this episode include:

Andrew Armstrong (Dolphins WR) – Led the SEC in receptions and yards. NFL scouts doubted his speed, but his 6'4" frame and sure hands say otherwise.

Nick Nash (Falcons WR) – Converted QB who led FBS in catches and yards. Underrated due to competition level, but the tape doesn’t lie.

Cobee Bryant (Falcons DB) – A 3-time First-Team All-Big 12 selection with a knack for turnovers. NFL teams may regret passing on this shutdown corner.

Seth McLaughlin (Bengals OL) – Rimington Trophy winner with elite college experience. Injury hurt his stock, but his talent is undeniable.

Howard Cross III (Bengals DT) – Undersized but disruptive. Familiarity with DC Al Golden gives him a leg up in Cincinnati.

Elijhah Badger (Chiefs WR) – Speed, production, and big-play ability. The Chiefs might have struck gold again.

Luke Grimm (Chargers WR) – Slippery route-runner with a nose for big plays. Could be a surprise fit in Jim Harbaugh’s system.

Ben Yurosek (Vikings TE) – Injuries dropped his stock, but if healthy, he’s a versatile weapon with great hands.

Xavier Restrepo (Titans WR) – Miami's all-time leading receiver and first-down machine. Chemistry with Cam Ward could revive his reputation.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
As we saw this weekend, the NFL draft is a
very tough place. We saw with SHARDR. Sanders, we saw
it with Quinn Ewers. Both of them went significantly lower
than people thought that they were going to go. But
here are the top ten players who did not get
drafted at all. They did not hear their name called,
but were absolute college studs. First name on the list

(00:24):
San Jose state wide receiver Nick Knatch, who went undrafted
and signed with the Atlanta Falcons. Now you might not
know who Nick Nash is, but I'll tell you. He
led all FBS wide receivers with one hundred and four
catches for thirteen hundred and eighty two yards and the
man had sixteen touchdown. Now, the irony is is that
the complaint on him was the exact same as Tetoa McMillan,

(00:48):
the same dude that went top ten. They said he
only beast it on lesser competition. Wide receivers can't control
everything about when the ball comes their way, but this
converted quarterback flashed some serious talent all year long, and
it would not be a surprise to see him make
the Falcons final roster. Next up, Kansas dB Kobe Bryant,

(01:10):
not that Kobe Bryant, This Kobe Bryant, and he also
went to the Falcons as an undrafted free eight. Kobe
Bryant was the first player in program history at Kansas
to be named first team All Big Twelve three straight years. Now.
Some mock drafts had him early as a day two pick,
that's rounds two and three. Now, most seven round mock

(01:30):
drafts had him getting picked at some point in time.
So why didn't he because he only allowed two touchdown
passes last year and he had a long career in
lawrence of creating turnovers. Now it could be because he
didn't test on anything but the forty at the combine
and at six feet tall one hundred and eighty pounds,

(01:50):
a four to five to one wasn't gonna cut it.
But he can play the nickel position at the NFL level,
and the Falcons are smart for getting him in the
building because one of them dudes that turns into a
special player. Hold on, hold on, hold on, It is time.

(02:14):
All right, all right, back to the list This next
guy is a national champion Ohio State offensive lineman Seth McLoughlin. Now,
he went undrafted as a free agent to the Bengals.
Now McLoughlin started thirty four games across his college football
career at Alabama and Ohio State won the Remington Trophy

(02:34):
last year as college football's top center. But a torn
achilles and a rough performance in Nick Saban's last game
at Alabama created enough doubts to keep teams from taking
the risks on a player who probably won't be ready
for the start of next season. Now, the Bengals are
smart to get his rights, and it wouldn't be a
shock if this gives him the production of a mid

(02:55):
round pick next year, because he won't be available probably
this year or at least in until the middle. But
next year, though, could be a starting player for the Bengals.
Arkansas wide receiver Andrew Armstrong win as an undrafted free
agent to the Miami Dolphins. Now Armstrong caught seventy eight
passes for eleven hundred and forty yards, leading both the

(03:16):
SEC last year, and he did it in only eleven games.
NFL talent evaluators they can seem to like anything about
this kid. They said he has bad feed that again
separate and they weren't impressed with his four five one
forty times. But Armstrong is six foot four, long arms,
reliable hands, and as somebody who started his college career

(03:37):
at Texas and m commerce, he has rapidly improved and
he's proved that he more than belongs after being misjudged
by college football recruiters, and maybe that same thing will
happen at the next level as well. I am very
interested to see what Notre Dame defensive tackle Howard crossed
the third does with the Bankers, because Howard Cross had

(04:01):
an ankle injury at the end of last season and
that likely kept him from being drafted. But luckily for
Cross and the Bengals that former Notre Dame defensive coordinator
Al Golden took the job in Cincinnati this offseason, so
he knows exactly what he is gonna get with the
Bengals sign and his kid. Now, Cross was never gonna
wild NFL scouts at six one, two hundred and eighty

(04:23):
three pounds, but there is a reason why a guy
that size drew double teams all of last year because
he's an absolute Dawt. One of my favorite undrafted players
is Florida wide receiver Elijah Badger, who signed as an
undrafted free agent with the Chiefs. Now, the Chiefs have
a long history of hitting on late round fix and

(04:44):
guys like this because the six foot one, two hundred
pounds receiver with one hundred and eighty one career receptions
for twenty four hundred and forty six yards and fourteen touchdowns.
Dude averaged twenty yards to catch last season. He ran
four four to three in the forty while posting a
thirty five and a half inch vertical. So what's there

(05:05):
not to like? Because forget not drafting, how the hell
do you let this man sign with the Chiefs. Okay, sure,
attention to detail might be a little bit of an
issue for Badger, but this is the one organization that
might be able to get Badger to lock in and
become a solid NFL starter because the talent is there.

(05:26):
Kansas wide receiver Luke Grim went undrafted and then signed
with the LA Chargers. Now the kid caught fifty one
passes for six hundred and ninety yards last year with
six touchdowns. He's spent his college career practicing against Mellow
Dotson and Kobe Bryant, which will only have Grim even
more prepared to compete for a roster spot in LA

(05:49):
See now, Jim Harborugh, he definitely is not afraid to
throw a white guy wide receiver out there to see
what he can do. Now, Grim, he's not big, He's
only one hundred and eighty pounds, so that might have
scared some teams off, but his college career is full
of big plays and he might just make a few
as well on the next level in the NFL Georgia

(06:12):
by the way of Stanford tight end ben Eurrossick, he
signed as an undrafted free agent with the Minnesota Vikings
now after his second and third seasons at Stanford in
Palo Alto. I did expect Eosik to be a second
or third day pick in the draft when he eventually
came out, because after his second and third seasons in

(06:33):
Palo Alto, it looked all but assured. But after he
spent most of twenty twenty three injured and his decision
to transfer to Georgia in his final season, that actually
backfired because his production failed to just fifteen catches for
one hundred and eighty five yards. But he is big,
he is physical, and he's tough, and he can block
a little bit, and but most importantly, he has great hands.

(06:57):
This is one of those ones where the duction doesn't
You can't even math how this kid didn't get drafted.
And that is Miami wide receiver Xavier Rastreppo, who signed
as an undrafted free agent with the Titans. How in
the hell do you let the University of Miami's all
time leading receiver go undrafted? Morrow, How do you let

(07:20):
him get reunited with his quarterback cam Ward in Tennessee.
Now it might be time to put my conspiracy theorist
had on, because Rastreppo reportedly ran a four eight three
point forty at his pro day, which he later said
was due to a tight hamstring. But I don't even
know why you ran it. If you were even gonna
run a four six, they would have assumed you ran

(07:41):
a four six. But if you have eyes and you
watch film, you know Rastreppo is a dog out on
the field. He let the entire NCAA in percentage of
receptions going for a first down or touchdown last year
at seventy six point eight percent. That was just ahead
of Isaiah Bond, who also went undrafted, but for very

(08:02):
different reasons. And last up that man we just mentioned,
Isaiah Bond, wide receiver from Texas, now in April arrest
for SA allegations. It might have taken him off of
team's boards, but close scrutiny is required. But Bond, the
dude has rare separation, He has speed, and even though

(08:23):
he fell well short of his vow to beat the
forty yard dass set by Xavier Worthy last year, the
dude is still a baller now. Regardless of whether teams
are gonna want him on their field or not is
a different question. This is why choices, decisions, consequences gotta
be careful out here. And that's the list of the
top ten undrafted players after the NFL Draft twenty twenty five.
