Speaker 1 (00:03):
Unicorn Baking Contest. Thanks for watching the Unicorn Cake Off
Bake Off. Stay tuned to learn which lucky Unicorns won
a spot on our next challenge. Percy the Unicorn was
sitting in the audience of her favorite baking contest, the
Unicorn Cake Off Bake Off, when the announcer took a
quick break to speak to the judges. She couldn't wait

(00:25):
to hear which Unicorns would be chosen to play next.
She crossed her hoofs and hoped it would be her.
Thanks for waiting, Unicorns. Time to announce our lucky contestants.
The Unicorn pulled the names out of a hat. Sprinkles
Make Glitterhorn, Luna Moonbeam, and Percy. Oh fancy feet, that's me.

(00:45):
Percy shrieked, flying up into the air with excitement. Sparkles
and rainbows exploded all over the room. She was thrilled
to be chosen, and she knew exactly what she was
going to make her perfect, scrumptious, magical strawberry cake. Percy
went home and spent the next few days preparing for
her big Baking Challenge debut. She made a very important

(01:08):
to do list that included items like call all my
friends and let them know the good news. Practice speed
galloping around the kitchen, and scream and shout from excitement.
She was very good at all of these things and
was able to get them off her list quite quickly. Finally,
the day had arrived. Percy showed up at Unicorn Vers

(01:28):
Studios with her favorite red rubber spatula and her can
do spirit. She introduced herself to the other contestants right away.
What are you making? She asked the other contestants. Sprinkles
and Luna. Funfetti ice cream cake with Funfetti sprinkles, said Sprinkles.
She loved anything rainbow and sprinkly marble mooncakes, said Luna proudly.

(01:51):
Anything spacely was her specialty. The game host entered the
set and addressed the three unicorns standing in front of him.
Good evening, contest Dents. Then he turned to the audience.
Welcome to the Unicorn Cake Off Bake Off. I'm your host,
Gill Gumballs, one lucky Uni. We'll leave here today with
the lifetime supply of cotton candy. The crowd whinnied with excitement.

(02:16):
Let's introduce our contestants. Percy's waited her turn as Luna
was introduced. The crowd ooed and odd as they showed
pictures of her home on the moon with her mom, Munglow.
She began baking as a teeny tiny unicorn and was
ready to win. Next up was Sprinkle's introduction. Sprinkles was
a local unicorn from the Unicorn Verse who had once

(02:38):
gotten lost in New Jersey. She loved ice cream and
couldn't wait to wow the judges with her sprinkled filled
ice cream cake. Now it was Percy's turn. Percy's pictures
showed her home in a magical garden full of the juiciest,
sweetest strawberries anyone had ever seen. She couldn't wait to
let others try them, and brought a basket of her

(02:59):
own or her magical strawberry cake. All right, contestants, you
have one hour to make the most beautiful, magical, and
delicious cakes our judges have ever seen. On your mark.
Get set, nay. Percy got to work. She pulled out
her basket of strawberries and began praying them for the

(03:20):
cake batter. The magic inside them played a happy dance
song as they blended. Next, she sliced some for the frosting.
The strawberry sparkled as their sweet scent made everyone's mouth water.
Everything was going wonderfully for all three contestants. They were
all ready to bake their cakes and freeze their ice

(03:41):
cream cakes, and had finished their frostings. With the extra time,
they talked to the judges and audience, snacking on candy
and popcorn. Percy was laughing, munching, and singing when she
caught whiff of something stinky. Luna, did you smell that?
Luna sniffed the air and shut It smells like cheese.

(04:04):
They looked around the snack table, but only saw yummy treats.
Nothing stinky. Maybe it was the garbage or something, concluded Percy.
She looked toward the stage where their cakes were cooking
and caught a flash of purple dart behind the ovens.
She turned to Sprinkles. Did you see that? Sprinkles? Turned around?
See what there was something purple by the ovens. Percy

(04:28):
and Sprinkles want to investigate. They didn't see anything behind
the ovens, but it didn't smell very nice over here either.
Definitely not like there were scrumptious cakes baking all right,
contestants five more minutes finished prepping those cakes and start icing.
The three unicorns ran toward their station. Percy whipped her
magical sparkling strawberry frosting and took the cake out of

(04:50):
the oven. She inhaled deeply, expecting the sweet smell of
strawberries and sugar. Instead, she spluttered, what is that smell?
She shouted, perplexed. Oh right, contestants, frost and plate one
more minute. Percy quickly covered her cake with the sparkly
icing and plated it. Ding ding, ding went the alarm,

(05:13):
and Percy sprinkles and Luna brought their cakes in front
of the judges. Percy presented her cake first. The judges
licked their lips when they saw the strawberry slices and
pink frosting. This is my strawberry cake with strawberries from
my magical garden. The frosting smelled like fresh pick strawberries
and sparkled so much that rainbow shone off of it.

(05:34):
The judges inhaled deeply as they cut into it. The
smell of strawberries turned into stinky, pungent cheese as they
cut the first slice. This cake has a very interesting scent,
said one of the judges. Is it the magical part
that it smells bad but tastes delightful, asked another. They

(05:55):
hesitantly bit into the cake. Instead of a strawberry cake,
it was a stinky che cheese cake. Oh no, what
had happened to Percy's beautiful, magical cake. The other two
contestants presented their cakes, and it only got worse. Sprinkles
presented her funfetty ice cream cake, but the sprinkles were
actually made of onions and the ice cream was made

(06:16):
of cream sauer kraut. By the time Luna presented her
marble mooncakes, the judges were afraid to try anything else.
They cut through the chocolate frosting and began pulling out
a perfectly marbled cake slice. The judges sighed in relief
until they got the slices on their plate and so
the anchovies hiding in the marbling. The announcer, Gil Gumballs,

(06:39):
was plugging his nose as the judges all looked visibly disgusted. Well,
this is a first. The judges need some time to
discuss before deciding on a the least yuckie cake. What happened,
wondered Percy. She did not bake a stinky cheesecake, and
she knew if there were no anchovies or onions anywhere

(07:02):
at the Unicorn Cake Off Bakeoff set ah Purple Ninjas.
The unicorns in the audience began scattering as Purple Ninjas
jumped out from behind cameras and chairs and out the
front door. Well, there you have it, folks, the stinky
cake catastrophe was caused by none other than the Purple Ninjas.
As our security team clears them out of our studio,

(07:23):
I like to thank our contestants for all of their
hard work and award each of them a lifetime supply
of cotton candy for being such good sports. He turned
to Percy, Sprinkles and Luna, and please, if you could
bake us your cakes again, we would love to try
them for real this time. The unicorns winnied in agreement,
happy that the mystery was solved and they all got

(07:45):
to be winners.
