Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. My wife Jocelyn and I have 3 kids and love inspiring others towards greater imagination and curiosity.

Welcome to Unicorn bedtime stories. As it is time to
slow down our breathing and even yon once or twice.
Let's close our eyes and begin our Unicorn adventure.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
In the enchanted realm of Frostwood, where the trees stood
tall and proud, their branches dusted with snow, there lived
a majestic male unicorn named Evergreen. His coat gleamed like
freshly fallen snow, and his main shimmered like silver icicles.
Evergreen was known throughout Frostwood for his bravery and compassion.
(00:44):
One chilly morning, as Evergreen trotted through the snow laden
glades of Frostwood, his heart heavy with worry, he received
word from a passing deer that his beloved brother, Blizzard,
had been caught in the midst of a fierce blizzard
that had suddenly swept through the forest. Described how Blizzard
had been playing near the edge of the forest when
the blizzard struck its ferocity, catching him off guard. Gathering
(01:07):
his courage, Evergreen set out on his quest, his hoofs
leaving imprints in the freshly fallen snow. The forest was
eerily silent, the only sound the soft crunch of snow
beneath his hoofs as he ventured deeper into the heart
of Frostwood, his mind raised with worry for his brother Blizzard. Suddenly,
(01:29):
a rustle in the bushes caught Evergreen's attention. Emerging from
the shadows were his trusted friends, Frost the wise old
Wolf and Crystal the spirited snow hair. Frost's fur was
as white as the snow itself, and Crystal's ears twitched
with excitement as she bounded towards Evergreen. Evergreen, why are
(01:51):
you out here on a snowy day like this? Frost
spoke with concern. Evergreen's voice was filled with urgency. Blizzard
is in trouble. What's happened to Blizzard? Crystal asked, her
breath forming icy clouds in the frigid air. He has
(02:13):
been trapped in the heart of the blizzard that just
came through our forest. I didn't know how badly he's stuck,
but we must find him before it's too late, Evergreen said,
Will to help you find him, Crystal said. Frost stepped forward,
his eyes sparkling with determination. We'll search every inch of
(02:35):
this forest until we find Blizzard. You can count on us.
Evergreen's heart swelled with gratitude. Thank you, Frost, Thank you Crystal.

With Frost's keen sense of smell and Crystal's boundless energy,
the trio set off deeper into Frostwood, their spirits lifted
by the knowledge that they were not alone in their quest.

As they journeyed through the snow covered glades, they called
out Blizzard's name, hoping for a response amidst the quiet
of the forest. With determination burning in their hearts, Evergreen, Frost,
and Crystal ventured deeper into the forest, their breaths visible
in the cold air. As they pressed on, the wind
(03:41):
held around them, whipping up snowflakes that danced like icy
sprites in the air. Their journey led them through winding
paths and dense thickets, each step bringing them closer to
Blizzard's location. But as they neared the heart of the blizzard,
the snowfall grew heavier, obscuring their vision and making it
(04:01):
difficult to forge ahead. We must stay together, Evergreen urged,
his voice, barely audible over the howling wind. We cannot
let the blizzard tear us apart. With Frost's keen sense
of smell and Crystal's nimble agility, they navigated through the
blinding snowstorm, their determination unwavering. But as they pressed on,
(04:26):
the blizzard grew fiercer, threatening to engulf them in its
icy embrace. Suddenly, a faint cry echoed through the swirling snow,
a cry that Evergreen recognized as blizzards. With renewed determination,
they followed the sound, pushing through the biting cold until
they reached a clearing where Blizzard stood, his fur coated
(04:49):
and frost Evergreen Frost Crystal. Blizzard exclaimed, his voice filled
with relief. I thought I'd never see you again. Evergreen
rushed to his brother's side, nuzzling him affectionately. We're here, Blizzard.
(05:11):
We'll get you out of this blizzard. Blizzard's breaths came
out in short, shivering bursts. Thank you, Evergreen. I thought
I was lost in the storm. Forever Frost stepped forward,
his wise eyes scanning the surroundings. We need to act quickly.
(05:34):
The blizzard shows no signs of letting up, and we
must find shelter before it worsens. Crystal nodded, her ears,
twitching with determination. I know of a nearby cave where
we can seek refuge. Follow me. With Frost's guidance leading
the way and Crystal's quick thinking guiding their path, they
(05:57):
forged through the snow laden forest, Blizzard leaning heavily on
Evergreen's side for support. The wind held around them, biting
at their fur and chilling them to the bone, but
they pressed on their determination, unwavering. After what felt like
an eternity, they finally reached the mouth of a large cave,
(06:17):
nestled beneath the shelter of an overhanging rock. Crystal darted inside,
her small form, disappearing into the darkness, and Evergreen followed
closely behind Blizzard, leaning on him for support. Inside the cave,
the air was still in quiet, a stark contrast to
the raging storm outside. Frost peered out into the blizzard,
(06:42):
his senses on high alert for any signs of danger.
We should wait here until the blizzard passes, Frost suggested,
his voice echoing softly off the cave walls. It's too
dangerous to travel in these conditions, his breathing beginning to
steady as the warmth of the cave seeped into his bones.
(07:06):
Thank you all for coming to my rescue. I don't
know what I would have done without you. Evergreen smiled,
his heart swelling with relief. We're family, Blizzard, will always
be there for each other no matter what. As they
huddled together in the safety of the cave, the blizzard
(07:29):
raged on outside, its fury, gradually subsiding until only gentle
flakes remained. And though the storm had tested their resolve,
they knew that as long as they had each other,
they could weather any challenge that came their way. The
animals of Frostwood learned something very important that day. Though
the blizzard had tested them, they learned that as long
(07:51):

that came their way. Their hearts were forever intertwined in
the magic of brotherhood and friendship.
