Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. Welcome to Unicorn bedtime stories. As it is time to
slow down our breathing and even jon once or twice.
Let's close her eyes and begin our Unicorn adventure.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
In the Kingdom of Everwood, where the trees whispered secrets
and the rivers sparkled with magic, there lived a spirited
young unicorn named Runa. Her coat was the color of
spun gold, and her main shimmered like strands of pure sunlight.
Runa was known for her adventurous spirit and boundless curiosity.

(00:46):
One bright morning, as Runa pranced through the lush meadows
of Everwood, she stumbled upon a mysterious pearl hidden amidst
the trees. Drawn by curiosity, she stepped through the pearl
on aware of where it would lead. To her surprise,
Runa found herself in a bustling town in the human world.

(01:08):
Tall buildings towered over her, and the streets buzzed with activity.
Confused and disoriented, Runa realized she had accidentally wandered into
a world unlike her own. As Runa trotted through the
unfamiliar streets, her mind raised with uncertainty. She had never

(01:30):
seen such towering structures or heard such loud noises before.
The bustling activity of the human world overwhelmed her senses,
and she couldn't shake the feeling of disorientation. What is
this place? She wondered silently to herself, her hoofs clopping
against the pavement with uncertainty. How did I end up here?

(01:51):
Her heart pounded in her chest as she glanced around,
trying to make sense of her surroundings. Every unfamiliar sight
and sounds seemed to heighten her anxiety, and she felt
a pang of longing for the familiar tranquility of everwood.
But amidst her confusion, Runa's attention was drawn to a
group of children playing in a nearby park. Their laughter

(02:13):
echoed through the air, and their eyes widened with wonder
as they caught sight of the majestic unicorn standing before them.
RNA's heart swelled with both fear and hope as she
approached the children, uncertain of what to expect. Would they
welcome her or would they see her as a strange
creature from another world. As the children's curious gazes met hers,

(02:35):
Runa's apprehension melted away, replaced by a glimmer of hope. Perhaps,
she thought these children could help her find her way
back home. Look, it's a unicorn, one of the children exclaimed,
pointing excitedly. Runa's heart raced with both fear and excitement
as the children approached her. Cautiously, sensing their kindness, she

(02:58):
allowed them to come close, sir, her gentle gaze meeting theirs.
Are you lost, little unicorn, one of the children asked,
her voice filled with concern. Runa nodded, her eyes reflecting
her uncertainty. Yes, she replied softly, her voice barely above

(03:19):
a whisper. I don't know how I got here. I
was in Everwood, and then I found myself in this
strange place. The child who had spoken stepped forward, a
warm smile on her face. I'm Lily, she said, extending

(03:39):
her hand towards Runa. And these are my friends, Jack
and Emily. We're here to help you. Runa's heart swelled
with gratitude as she looked at Lily and her friends.
Thank you, she said, her voice filled with emotion. I

(04:00):
don't know what I would do without your help. As

(04:23):
they journeyed through the human world, Runa marveled at its wonders,
the colorful buildings, the sounds, of laughter and the hustle
and bustle of daily life. Yet, despite the excitement of
this world, she longed to return to the peace and
tranquility of Everwood. Their journey was not without its challenges, however.

(04:44):
They encountered busy streets filled with honking cars and crowded
sidewalks bustling with people. Runa's large form often drew curious stairs,
but Lily and her friends stood by her side, guiding
her through the bustling city with care and compassion. As
they navigated through the maze of streets and alleys, Runa
couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the unfamiliar sights and sounds.

(05:06):
She longed for the quiet serenity of Everwood, where the
only sounds were the gentle rustle of leaves and the
soft murmur of the river. But despite the challenges they faced,
Runa and her companions pressed on their determination, unwavering as
they searched for a way back to Everwood. Finally, after
much searching, Runa and her companions discovered another mysterious porl

(05:28):
hidden in a quiet alleyway. The portal shimmered with an
other worldly light, beckoning them closer with its silent promise
of home. As Runa stepped through the portal, she found
herself back in the familiar embrace of Everwood, surrounded by
the gentle rustle of leaves and the soft glow of
sunlight filtering through the trees. She turned to look back

(05:49):
at the pearl one last time, her heart filled with
fond memories of her adventure in the human world, and
though Runa had returned home, she knew that she would
never forget the kindness of the children who had helped
her find her way. For in the magical realm of Everwood,
as in the human world, true friendship knew no bounds.
As Runa stepped through the portal and emerged back in Everwood,

(06:12):
she was greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of
her home. The tree swayed gently in the breeze, and
the birds sang sweet melodies in the branches above. But
it was the sight of her mother waiting anxiously by
the portal that brought tears to Runa's eyes. Her mother
rushed forward, her eyes brimming with tears of relief as
she enveloped Runa in a tight embrace. Oh my dear Runa,

(06:36):
I was so worried about you, her mother said, her
voice trembling with emotion. I'm just glad you're safe. Runa
hugged her mother back tightly, her heart overflowing with love
and gratitude. I'm sorry for worrying you, mother, but I
had an incredible adventure. Her mother pulled back slightly, her

(06:58):
eyes filled with curious an adventure, what happened, my dear?
With a smile, Runa began to recount her journey to
the human world, telling her family about the kind children
who had helped her find her way back home. She
described the bustling streets, the towering buildings, and the warmth

(07:19):
of the human children's friendship. Her family listened intently, their
eyes shining with wonder as they hung on her every word.
And though Runa's adventure had been filled with challenges and uncertainty,
she knew that she wouldn't trade it for anything. And
now I'm back where I belong, Runa said, her heart
filled with contentment. But I will always cherish the memories

(07:41):
of my time in the human world and the friends
who helped me find my way. Her family gathered around her,
their loves surrounding her like a warm embrace, and as
they watched the sun set over the tranquil landscape of Everwood,
Runa knew that she was truly home, surrounded by the
ones she loved most in the world.
