(00:57):
football heavy. I know, we like to talk different sports,
and we had baseball on the rundown out of there,
we had basketball on the rundown out of air. You

July it's football time, and who are there who better
than to talk to one of the gurus of gurus
and training now and has all these amazing talents that

(01:19):
have come from his tutelitch none other than.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
My man panteen Man. That's right. I could see my
own reflection in his hair. Mister T. J. Hitchman's odd.
How you feeling today, sir.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Man, I'm feeling good man, ready to put on a
great show for the listeners.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
I feel right.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
How you feel about the weather man? How's the weather
going for you?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
I will say this, it's been pretty hot, been hot,
and it's been really clear every day and then yesterday
hit and overcasts all day.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Wake up this morning it's hot, overcast. Man. Global warming
is a real thing. Hmmm.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
That's interesting. Yeah, I'm sure that is. But you know what,
I ain't touch on that because, you know what, We're
gonna talk sports, and we're gonna keep it light because
I don't want to hear about us burning the hell
up or you know, the water going too far up
on the shoreline and all that stuff. Let's talk about
Aaron Rodgers and him having some interesting comments that I
am curious. You know, you've had quite a few quarterbacks

(02:20):
that you've worked with when you were playing the game.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
You had some that you've.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Built strong relationships with, some not so much because of
maybe just the amount of time. I think one name
that pops up into my head is Carson Palmer. I
know you guys had probably a pretty strong relationship. I
know you worked with you still work with his brother.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Right, Yeah, me and me and Jordan we work together
here and there.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
For sure, So you guys still have a pretty strong relationship.
If your quarterback had this to say when you went
to another team and he was on another team.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
And you know which.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
We'll get to the sound of what Davante Adams had
to say as well with with the new TV series
The Netflix Receiver debut. But this was a curious SoundBite
from Aaron Rodgers, and I would love knowing what your
relationship has been with with you know, as mentioning Carson Palmer.
What's your take on this has be Let's let's let's

(03:19):
listen to what a rod had to say.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Do you think Luke gets He's gonna utilize DeVante Adams
good in the New Raiders offense?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
I love lu Getzi. He's a fantastic coach awesome. I
love Davante. I can't wait to play with him outside
of now.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I don't think there was a follow up question. There
should have been one, and and I would have hoped
there would have been one, and I hope that maybe
at surfaces later that there was one TJ. But just
with that sound bite right there of the the reporter
asking him about how Davante Adams, well, what he thinks

(03:55):
about how he'll be used, and he you know, Aaron
Rodgers gave praises to Getsy but also made mention of
the fact that he couldn't wait to play with him again.
That sounds like, I mean, some people could say that
that could be tampering, That could be a lot of

(04:16):
different things.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
What's your take on it?

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Knowing guys have relationships you as as as a former guy,
a guy, y'all built relationships between one another.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
What do you think happened here?

Speaker 3 (04:31):
I just feel like Aaron Rodgers has a lot of
respect for Devonte Adams as a player and a person.
I don't think too much of if Garrett Wilson he's
solidified with the Jets, everybody else, it would be like, man,
I can't wait to play with him again.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
If you.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Really like what you have as a receiving corps, you
wouldn't want to vide. Oh, you can admire him from
a you can really appreciate is his play in the
type of player he is. But I can't wait to
play with him again. It's like, man, he don't think
we're good outside of Garrett Wilson. But also if the race,

(05:14):
you look at the Raiders quarterback situation, that's the key.
Who gonna be the strong quarterback? Is it gonna be
Gardner Minshew, Is it gonna be a and O'Connell. Whoever
it is that can't mess with Aaron Rodgers. Whoever it is,
won't be able to get Devontae Adams the ball.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Like Aaron Rodgers I never knew.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
And to a certain degree when I'm about to say,
we all are like this, but you know when you
don't really see receivers complain, but it is worldwide. Every
receiver wants the ball, and we are going to express
that because the DeVonta Yeah, I signed off on Jimmy

(05:57):
Garoppolo getting benched. Man, they better give me the ball
before I bleep and lose my life here. Like he
wants the ball he wants to be featured. Does he
have a quarterback that can do those things? Does he
have a quarterback that will be able to feature him
the way we now know he wants to be featured

(06:20):
because if he isn't, like he said, he gonna lose
his life, meaning he gonna lose his mind. And so
by Aaron Rodgers saying that we know for a fact
they have a team and a quarterback that would want them,
it's just now, could they make it happen?

Speaker 4 (06:41):
And does it make sense?

Speaker 3 (06:42):
And that's how I see it, Aaron Rodgers is basically saying, hey, demonte,
I still want to play with you. If Kings ain't
working out, I'm in Las Vegas. Like I've told you
privately that I'm sure they've had conversations. Let's try to
press this issue and make this happen.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Here's that sound you were talking about. Let's let's take
a listen to Davante Adams on the new Netflix series Receiver.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
I gotta get my life. I never hit this. I
gotta get my life. I never been hit this many
times in my career. All right, now, that's the game
I get.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
That's the sound from That's the sound that you're referencing TJ.
Listen for me, I'm more interested. Like I said, I
think from a personal standpoint, you would understand this better
than than most anybody outside of guys that have done
with what you've done in your life. When you're when

(07:43):
you're when you're feeling the way that Davante Adams is feeling.
Would it be crazy to think that you're thinking of
a better a better place, a better time, a better
person like you're mentioning. You're mentioning you know how Davante
Adams would feel and how these other quarterbacks compare. But

(08:03):
in your mind, just just from a personal standpoint, what
would you be thinking if that were the case where
you ended up with a quarterback uh, or ended up
on a team where and and listen, they've they've gotten
new coaches since and and maybe things improved a little
bit more. It seems as though he was excited about

(08:26):
playing for Antonio Pierce, so maybe there's a change in
how he's feeling. But when this was recorded, you you
would have to believe and I'm assuming that this was
recorded before uh. I know it was because McDaniel was
still on the side of which by the way, they
had a sound bite of your boy in in the
in that segment, by the way, Uh, but from your

(08:50):
personal experiences, TJ speak to me like, let's let the
listeners know take them into of a more personal like
how would how would TJ handle that if you were
in a situation like what Davante Adams is in.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
I mean, if I'm being honest, I don't know how
I would handle it. Me being myself, you'd be upset,
for sure. You'd be upset because if you get ten
to twelve to thirteen fourteen targets a game, that's a lot.
Eight nine, ten catches a game, that's a lot. But

(09:27):
when you think about the total plays per game and
your opportunities, it's really a small amount. So you have
to make the most of every opportunity you're giving in
each game because from a percent base, you don't get
many you're gonna run let's say, fifty five to seventy

(09:47):
snaps the game offensively, and so you're getting such a
small percentage of opportunities. But this is a thing. If
you're Davonte Adams, your entire career, you played with Aaron Rodgers,
one of the best quarterbacks ever.

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Do it.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
You leave and get traded to the Raiders. And part
of that, I believe he knew Aaron Rodgers wanted out,
he was on his way out, and so Jordan Love
is going to be the quarterback. And then you see
how Jordan Love has played.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
Yes, he hasn't proved, and he see what he has
and Jimmy g and ain't and O'Connor last year and
Gardner minshew and ain't O'Connell this year.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
He kicking himself and then you know what he's like.
I read the situation wrong. I read it wrong.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Now, if it is true, I believe he said he
told the Packers I want a new deal. They hollered
the seventeen eight million a year. It was so respectful.
So I get it. At the end of the day.
We want to win, we want to play well, we

(11:08):
want to be on a good team.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
But we want to get paid.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
I want to be compensated seventeen million a year.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Man, you might as well slap be in my face
and tell me to do something about that. Like that's
how disrespectful that is.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
And keeping in mind at the time, he is possibly
the best receiver in the game at that moment in time.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Even still LeVar, Like if you just say, let's let's
not talk about statistics. Even though he had a good
year last year, he's still a top five receiver in
the league right now, and nobody would say he's won
because he done have that quarterback Like Justin Jefferson is one,

(11:50):
but it's Justin Jefferson really going to be one now
with Kirk Cousin's not being there. And so this thing
is always floid. It always changes because of who your
quarterback is and your opportunity. Football is an ultimate team sport.
When a quarterback doesn't have weapons, oh, you gotta getting weapons.
As soon as you're getting weapons, he's gonna take off.
As soon as you're getting weapons. Oh the quarterback is great.

(12:11):
What happens to the weapons that you wanted a couple
of years ago? And so it's the ultimate team game.
Had the best quarterback in the world putting no players
around him, Tell me, is he the best quarterback in
the world?

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Then truth?

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Truth.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
And so for Davonte Adams, I think he's licking at
Aaron Rodgers the situation in Green Bay with Jordan Love
and his situation is saying, wow, well, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
How it all plays out. That's t J.

Speaker 1 (12:38):

Quick, knowledgeable and funny, opinionated, What what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (13:34):
We were interrupting our promo.

Speaker 7 (13:35):
Yeah, you wasn't talking about you. You took those clips
totally of context.

Oh yeah, well after this promo, I'm gonna take you
out and beat you.

was time for training camp?

Speaker 4 (14:09):
Who?

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Yeah, we wanna talk about that. Welcome back in. This
is up on Game Plus. Co Burst is off today.
TJ huchman Zada and myself, LaVar Arrington will be taking
you the two hours we are in the tiraq dot
Com studio.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
TJ to everyone out there and listen.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
I know training camps are a little different, seasons are
getting longer, the policies governing and protecting the welfare and
the health of players both physically and mentally are at
a premium at this point in time. But from your perspective,
what was what was going through your mind at this

(14:54):
point in time of the year when you were checking
in for training camp and more more, most specifically, because
the Ravens rookies have now checked into camp for training camp,
this will be their first.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Go at it. What was what's your memory of it?

Speaker 1 (15:11):
And what would be the like the biggest things that
you prepared for, you know, going into the training camp season.
Now my rookie year or just rookie year. Let's say,
let's go rookie year. Since it's rookies that are checking
in for the Ravens, let's go rookie. Do you have
the recollection of it?

Speaker 2 (15:29):
I know I do.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Blessing up my rookie year. You don't know what to expect.
You're going into it. You have no idea what to expect.
And I remember my rookie year. Dick Lemota, head coach.
We go to Georgetown, Kentucky. No lot, we had uh
And I thought this was normal because I had no idea,

(15:51):
we had no security. First day of practice, double day,
m hmm. Second day of practice, double day, Yeah, Third
day of practice, double day, LeVar. When I tell you,
I couldn't believe it the third day. The third day,

(16:13):
when I got out of the bed sore, I could
barely walk. Yeah, I could barely walk. And I swear.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
It was me Chad.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Peter Warwick and I believe Ron Dugan's because we stayed
in dorms and it would are basically for bury departments
at UH Georgetown College in Kentucky. And when I came
out my room, I'm like, I asked him, I'm like, Bron,
how y'all feeling man? They looked at me so crazy.

(16:47):
Nobody could walk. But when they blew that whistle, we
all were running.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
Yeah, and so that showed me moving forward.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Way.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
If you don't get in dog shape, it's gonna be
a problem. Like our training camp was. We were in
training camp.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
If I'm not.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Mistaken, my rookie year, five weeks, weeks, five weeks, five weeks, LeVar,
this is a true story. We had dudes leaving training
camp because it was so hard, Like they'd wake up.
We'd be like, we're so and so at. I cannot
remember his name, but I believe he was a safety.
I don't know if he went to Southern mess or Arkansas.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
He just left.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
He was like, I ain't, I ain't doing this, I'm done.
Like it was hard, Yeah, had Lebault for two years
and then Marvin comes in. It was hard, a little
more rest, a little easier, but it was still hard grind.
And then when coach lou we had security, we had
bad check. It was just like, oh they got security

(17:54):
at the front.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Now.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Before it was just like whatever you want to do,
they would coach when Marvin comes in. Now we got
security at the front. Nobody can just kind of come
through however they please. It was more of a I
guess you would say a professional type setting then, because

(18:15):
Marvin knew he how he wanted to do things. But
either way, when we play LeVar, when you have double days, mentally,
you just gotta get ready to go. Physically it's gonna
be tough. You got to get your mind to the
point where I got it. And if you can control
your mind, you're good because physically I don't care what

(18:37):
you do, you're.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
Going to be hurting.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
My recollection of my rookie year was I just came
in ill prepared and I would just urge to you
don't know, Yeah, I would urge two young guys. And
it's such a workout culture now for athletes these days,
like it's like such a premium way more than what
it was when when we were coming through, Like it's

(19:03):
like that's like the end thing is actually to work out.
Like for us, that was like you're you're trying to
get better than your opponent. That's like almost like the
new norm for for athletes these days is to you know,
work work out and work hard on their their skills
and their movements and just taking care of your body

(19:24):
and all kinds of you know, really prehab on what
you have going on, which I think is amazing that
that the culture has has swung that way, because I
don't think that you know, there's this laziness or or
just a take for granted, I'll get in shape during
training camp type of mentality people like sou LeVar.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
What you're talking about also is there's just more awareness, right,
not not from the players, yes, from the trainers that
the players are working with, yes, as well. But the
awareness is these teams in the National Football League, National
Football they're not running guys into the ground. I don't
know when it's the last practice that you've attended NFL,

(20:06):
but these dudes are taking breaks in practice to a
snack break to where now they're giving you a smoothie
that's just for you and what your body needs and
wants for you.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Like literally whatever grams of creating or pressing or whatever
it is that you need. It is specified based off
of your body makeup. It's it is mind blowing. You know,
I've did the official visits circuit now and so I've
this is the first time I've ever done that.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
TJ.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
That that was like a phenomenal exchange. Eye opener. Yeah,
it's an eye opener, man. Just the lengths that they
go to. Like bro we went to Tennessee and they
have stations. They have a dining room that has stations,
and it's based off of the needs of what you know,

(21:00):
you may be someone who needs to have more pasta
and and and load on on carbs, and so you
go over to this station. Here's a station where you
can get a smash burger. It's over here. Here's a
salad station. You may need to eat a little bit
more leaner, and this, that and the other. Everything is

(21:20):
specified based off of plans that they give you off
of like doing the testing of your body mass and
how you metabolize and the foods and all this suff
It's so many things out there, and just like the
idea of even lifting and running. You know, I saw
I saw a practice where they were out on the

(21:42):
field for at least at least two hours TJ. And
then they went into the weight room and they were
in the weight room for at least two hours, and
I was like, that's crazy. You gotta on field. You're
on field for that amount of time. You're in the
weight room for that amount of time. Looking at these dudes,

(22:03):
and it's like, it's like the way these guys are
prepared and the way they're they're training, it's almost like, dang,
their their training camps aren't physically as grueling.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
They don't have to a day's anymore.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
No, they don't.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
My when when I don't know about you, but there
were three a day's back then too. You had to
do you did you did something that you did something
specific in particular in the morning, then you had something
that was specific in particular, and in the second practice,
which you know, depending on the weather, they might have
made the second practice the special team's practice.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
And I believe that's and I believe that's what they
do now, and then at night special team walk through
type of thing.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
But then at night you went back into your tops
or shelves and it was a practice at night like
it was a dog day practice. On that third practice,
I don't think guys have to to physically get through
it the way that you know you're speaking of it.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
But it still is a grueling process.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
And you know at this point, I just I'm I
would say, and I would I would say to rookies
that are going into training camp right now, make sure
you get close with two different people. One the people
that take care of your equipment that are in the
locker room, the equipment managers.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Get I mean, bring them donuts, you know, bring them coffee.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Naw, you don't bring them anything, labar, you know what
you do. This is what I would do. I never
brought them anything. I would get no, no, no, no, no.
You give them one hundred dollars and say go get
some donuts for yourself. Man, y'all go get some donuts.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
How about that's a different that's a different approach. See me,
I was always you know, I was brought up a
military kid, like you do. Like the little things of
me bringing it like you've given one hundred dollars training
from when you're at a dorm. And that's the difference.
Oh I'm bringing that. I'm bringing it from training hall.
I'm bringing it from training table. That's why I used
to do I used to. I used to put put

(24:10):
it to go to go container together and I'd bring
it to to the to the trainers and to the
to the.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
To the equipment guys in Cincinnati. The trainers is eating
the same thing we're eating. They going to the same
dining hall that we are going to.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
But you know what, though I.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Didn't care, I was still going to bring them. I
was going to bring them like I brought them fruit.
I brought them like they had waters and stuff in there.
I still bring them fruits, waters, coffee. I would bring
them stuff. You know why, because if you take care
of the people that are taking care of you the best,
like you'd be surprised on like I don't know how
it is now in the locker rooms like at the

(24:48):
pro level, but it's they're they're they're far less giving
of You would think that you would get more stuff
when you go to the pros, but it's actually different.
Like at least for us where we were at, they
didn't just give you new socks all the time. Your
pen was your pen. You know what you had on
there was what you had on there, and you had

(25:10):
two to three pins, that's what you had. I wanted
to be able to get new socks. I wanted to
be able to wear you know, new cleats and stuff
like that. Like, there was certain things I wanted to have.
I wanted to get a hold of stuff that maybe
were being tested and they weren't giving it to everybody.
I wanted to have the perks and I man, look,
I went above and beyond to take care of my

(25:33):
I had them shirts made, like I created shirts for
our trainers and for our equipment managers called the Nation
La Nation.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
I had a whole we created a following TJ.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
I created a following with them because if you needed anything,
they were so, they were so like.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
I got to them. Those are the men and women. Man,
they do the dirty work. You gotta take care of them.
I always to look after, Like I know, for Christmas,
I would give them money, receive them.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
I got.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
I got all the receivers together and I said, hey,
we're gonna all get this. I'm giving it to the
interns in the training room, the interns and the equipment room,
and eventually turned into the entire team started to do it.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
That's cool.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Yeah, So those guys work hours upon hours to make
sure that we have everything. Man, I mean it's and
you don't even realize it. Man, Like when you're a
professional athlete, bro, you spoiled. Man, we spoiled because they
do everything for you. They do everything for you, everything
for you. Hey, I need this boom they go. They

(26:45):
don't say Okay, I'm gonna get on it. They're gonna
do it right now. They do it right now. And
so yeah, it's not it's not a guy or a
girl that did those jobs. When I was playing that,
I didn't have a good relationship with some of the guys.
I still uh to this to this day, Yes to this,

(27:07):
just text with one this past week. I'm in Cincinnati.
But yeah, man, the training camp part of it, LeVar.
When I trained my guys, you gotta be able to run.
You gotta be able to run. You got when I
say run. You gotta get in shape to where that
in shape you can just go, go go. So we

(27:28):
do a lot of things this past week, this upcoming
week that's hopefully gonna prepare them for what they're gonna
get and they'll be ready.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
That was one of my biggest, the biggest things I
had to overcome as a as a rookie. TJ is
I kept having like almost like panic anxiety attacks because
I'm I'm I'm going out there on the field and
I'm running wind sprints with Bruce Smith, with with Darryl
Green and Champ Bailey and Deon and Mark Carrier and

(28:02):
Sam Shade and Mike Michael Westbrook and Irving Fryar, Like
I'm out here conditioning with the who's who of football
players that had played this game and in the history
of the game. I'm out here with them, and I
was kind of having like like panic attacks. I couldn't
I couldn't run. It was like I was running in

(28:22):
quick saying. The crazy thing is is that I didn't
comprehend them because I ran.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
We ran a lot.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
I felt like we did a lot, and we ran
a lot in college, and what we had to do
was way way more straininge strenuous than what I had
to do in the league, to be honest. But what
I realized is I wasn't. I didn't prepare the way
that I prepared for college. Like our our our training
regiment changed it mind changed when I went.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Pro, like I was on my own.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
Yeah, you're on your own in college. They're kind of oh,
they on but they're getting you in shape. Yeah, in
the league got to you gotta.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Be very very responsible.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
And that's that was the hard. That was the hard, hard,
valuable lesson that I learned going. I thought that I
was in such great condition and shape. Just because I
was in great condition and shape, that the conditioning and
the strength training that I did to prepare for my
rookie year, I thought it was suffice and it was

(29:24):
not even close. It was not It was not even close.
And it took deon. This is a crazy story about Dion.
Dion saw how bad I was struggling and started conditioning
extra with me. After practices, he would do conditioning. He
would take me off to the side after everybody was done,

(29:45):
like the practice was done. We're in training camp and
he was like, nah, young fella, like come on, we're
going over here, and we started doing more.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
He had me doing more conditioning.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
I'm already half did dying because I'm so tired, and
he made me do more conditioning and him believing in me,
it really got me going. It got me working a
little harder to do the extra stuff to get myself
caught back up into being in shape.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
But it caught me off guard, TJ. It caught me
off guard.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
And you know what also is different, LeVar.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
A lot of the trainers that some of the players have,
they're cool with guys in the training staff on their
respective teams, and so they communicate, they talk, They have
an idea of what the conditioning tests may be if
you have one, or what it will be, and so
the guys are prepared. But it's what you said, man,

(30:41):
the players of today, this physical fitness, it's a way
of life. It's a way of life now. Back then
it was a select few. It is a way of
life today. Yeah, and that's a good thing. Slightly before
me and probably my first year or two, they really
use training camp to get in the shape and shape. Yeah,

(31:05):
I'm gonna say ninety five percent of guys they coming
in in shape, ready to go. I used to always
tell Marvin Lewis says, I'm like, Coach Lou, I come
to training camp with a full tank of gas. I
leave with three quarters of a tank of gas because
y'all don't run us into the ground. He used to
We used to go at it and I'm like, and
I never get back to a full tank because we

(31:26):
are doing so much Hey, bro, Marvin Lewis, we was banging. Yeah,
like we're doing Oklahoma's in training camp. Bro, I know what,
Marvin Lewis, We're doing Oklahoma's. Dudes was getting knocked out.
I'm talking about sleep knocked out, like laying on the ground,
knocked out, and then we riversiding we're gonna go to
the other side. He knocked out on one side of

(31:48):
the field, so we go down to the other side.
Now that's right, that's right. Like that's what we were
going through in training camp. You'd be like, oh man,
we're doing Oklahoma's a day. I hope I ain't gotta
go against this dude that want to point. Yeah, you
know who wants to prove a point? Is it Low
and Krown?

Speaker 4 (32:06):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (32:06):
How'd you knock them out? I? Low? How you knock out?
These updates?

Speaker 1 (32:09):
I Loo?

Speaker 2 (32:10):
What what we got going on? Mister Low and Kron
Let's be just updated.

Speaker 7 (32:14):
Basically Mike Mike Tyson against Michael Spinks. Ooh easy back
out nine seconds?

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Ooh speaking brutal, speaking.

Speaker 8 (32:22):
Of knockouts, Hey, LeVar, how come TJ and I are
yet to receive our LA Nation T shirts?

Speaker 1 (32:29):
You know so long ago? That's two thousand, two thousand
and one. It's so long ago, but we'll bring it back.
I mean, you know you're part of the Mammo kingdom,
you know all mammal baby.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Thank you. Yeah, no words, no words, We'll do. I
work on that stick city stuff too. I get you
out of some of that.

Speaker 7 (32:44):
Look forward to receiving it in the mail.

Speaker 8 (32:46):

Speaker 1 (32:54):
By Border Kretschikiva has a third championship point?

Speaker 2 (32:58):

Speaker 4 (33:01):

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Babora kritch Jacoba is the Wimbledon champion.

Speaker 8 (33:09):
Fifty kick Rich Connolly the call on Wimbledon Radio as
Craig Chikova defeated Italy's Jasmine Paalini six two two, six
sixty four. In the NBA, multiple outlets report Denver rookie
first round draft pick Deron Holmes suffered a torn right
achilles and is expected to miss the upcoming season. ESPN
reports veterans center TOADJ. Gibson's agreed to a one year,

(33:32):
three million dollar deal with the Charlotte Hornets. Today's Major
League Baseball action gets underway about half an hour from now,
the Detroit Tigers host the Los Angeles Dodgers. Finally, we
have a tragic addendum to the death of Minnesota Vikings
rookie cornerback Kyrie Jackson. Jackson, along with two of his
high school teammates, were killed in a car crash a

(33:52):
week ago. While last night, a candlelight vigil was held
for the three victims at their old high school in
Upper Marlborough, Maryalize. Yeah, at wise high school.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
Exactly high school.

Speaker 8 (34:05):
After the vigil had concluded, someone opened fires in the
parking lot of.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
The high school.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Yeah, somebody died or.

Speaker 8 (34:13):
An adult an adult male was killed yet to be identified.
An adult female was wounded treated for non life threatening injuries.
A suspect or motive have not been identified as of Yes. Yeah,
we'll continue to follow that developing story.

Speaker 7 (34:29):
Back to you, guys.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Wow, that's said. Thank you.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
It was a huge law enforcement group.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
President was the law enforcement was present, a large presence
of law enforcement and people. These people, these kids of today. Man,
when I say kids, I'm sure they're younger than me.
They got to get it together.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Many all right, well, we got to take a break.
On the other side of it, Tennessee makes a signing.
You know, we'll talk about that super quickly about was
it a good was it an impactful signing?

Speaker 2 (35:02):
This is up on Game. That's t J.

Speaker 1 (35:04):
Hushman's out. I'm LeVar Arrington. We'll be right back Fox
Sports Radio. All right, welcome back in. We're into Tirack
dot com Studios.

podcast will be going up.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
All right, make sure you check it out if you
missed anything today, be sure to check wherever it is
you get your your podcast from. Just search up on
game and follow rate review the podcast again. Just search
up on Game wherever it is you get your podcasts,
and you'll see this show. Post it right after we
get off the air, Uh, TJ. Before we get to

(35:40):
the top or well, the end of this hour, wanted
to talk to you about the Titans signing. Uh, the
veteran safety Jamal Adams, three time Pro bowler, and uh,
you know, a game changer didn't quite work out the
way that that someone what or you know, whoever brought

(36:01):
him into Seattle, but nonetheless he moves on and now
he lands in Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
Do you like this this signing? I mean, we got
to see if he can stay healthy. I read where
he said basically, he has to prove that he's still
him in so many words, because his last few years
he's been he hasn't been able to make it through
a season. So he wants to prove to himself that

(36:31):
he can do these things. We don't know because he
hasn't been able to get to a season healthy.

Speaker 4 (36:38):
You just don't know.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
At one point, when he got traded from the Jets
to Seattle, he was one of the best, if not
the best safety in the game, And as soon as
he touched down in the Pacific Northwest, he has he
hasn't been able to stay on the field and play
a full season and be healthy. And so one have
the injuries taken a toll on him and also mentally,

(37:03):
and because when you had these injuries in your mind,
as soon as you feel anything as oh my god.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
Here we go again.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
And so can he get over that hump mentally and
physically If he does have these elements, are they gonna
be to the point where it's like my body can
only take so much, and so.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
I don't know because we haven't seen him on the
field enough. Any player that's playing the game of football, man,
the preparation, just the game itself that you the time
and the wear and tear and the damage it does
to you. Man, you got to play this until the
wills fall off. And for him, I believe he's unsatisfied

(37:47):
at the last few years of his career, so he's
trying to change the narrative.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
How many wills is off his rat right now? How
many wills is he ratting on? Man, he probably got
three two and a half. Not many wills, not many left?

Speaker 4 (38:09):
You know.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Tennessee brought in uh shouldo be a wooa isa and
and Lugerious snead quietly this offseason and now adding Jamal Uh,
I'm I see what they're trying to do. If if
you can get a healthy Jamal Adams and if you
can't get some good play out of some of the

(38:31):
additions that they've made, Uh, they'll have a vastly improved
secondary and and it'll be interesting to see if they
can improve moving forward in Tennessee. But I mean, hey,
well you know that that remains to be seen, and
it also remains to be seen if Jamal Adams can
return back to that pro bowler form. So all right,

(38:51):
listen up, guys. We have gone through our one hope
that you have been entertained so far. We're going to
take a quick break and on the other side of
that break, heading into the second hour. Yeah, we got
a whole lot of things to talk about, and one
is George Kittle. Well, he had some interesting things to
say about eighteen games left or an eighteen game season coming.

(39:15):
We'll talk about that next up on game Fox Sports Radio.
