But with me being a huge boxing fan, I just

champ of the world. He loses to holy Field, he
loses a Tommy Morrison, and then he beats Michael Moore
at forty five, and that was crazy because Michael Moore
had beaten, if I'm not mistaken, holy.

For the IBF title and then forming a jab right
down the middle back to back and dropped him and
oldest heavyweight champ still to this day, you know, in
the history of the sport, that to me is what

always smiling, always with a smile on the space. All
his kids named George the Girls or George Genis, so
you know he was gonna make sure his name lived on.
May his family be blessed during this time. But yeah,

resilience to I lose a holy Field in my forties,
I lose a Tommy Morrison in my forties, and then
I beat Michael More who beat Holyfield who I lost to.

at the I looked at this bracket differently this year

there are some teams that have a better path to

getting to where they're trying to get to than the others.
And I think when I simulated it, Michigan State had
one of the better pathways to getting to forward than
the other than some of these other teams, and some
of that played a part and why I have them
getting there. Nonetheless, Izo is a beast. He knows how
to do it. He has his team playing really well,

and I you know, I think that they have a
very very nice pathway to getting where they're trying to
get to.

I mean, what Iowa State or Ole miss to get to.

The Sweet sixteen, right, I mean, now then they got
to see Arkansas or Saint John's most likely, right, if
that's going to be their hardest game all the way up.

Okay, but Michigan State is a really good team. Like
you know what I mean. He said Iowa State is

In years past, Yeah, Michigan State is always one of
the top programs in the country, no doubt that. But

that that loss that we had the Wisconsin was good
for us because it reset us because we had just
won eight games in a row.

pathway of all of these teams to reach in the

in the tournament. But if you look at Houston, you

trying to get through your head over there, that all
that nice, luxurious, shiny head that you got. Is that
team have the best chance out of all of these
teams from who we have to play against to get

like twenty million or something like that, tj at the
signing the bonus of it all, and then the rest
of it is based upon his playing time a large
part of it. But this really only looks like a
for real, for real like a one year deal because

there are no real guarantees outside of the signing bonus
that he's receiving or has received by now at this point,
what's your.

you like this these signings? Do you feel like this

always sign. They quarterback obviously, and they number one receiver,
so it was just a matter of time before Chase
got his deal. T Higgins. That's a different story. I
look at it as these are two dudes have earned

it and they received it. It's not like it was
given to them. These dudes went out there and had
to bust. They tails to earn his money. Who else
was the Bengals gonna give it to? Who else on
the team? Trey Hendrickson. They signed him as a free
agent from the Saints. They gave him at the time,
I thought when the Bengals when we signed Trey Hendrickson,

a great deal. Now now he's underpaid. Outside of signing
Trey Hendrickson's to extension, who else on that team has
earned a deal. So you got to pay somebody. Pay
the guys that have earned it. They've earned it. Now
when you talk about I think he got a great deal.
Could he have gotten more on an open market? Probably so, But.

He could have got more off of just the franchise
tag too. That's not guarantee in terms of guarantees guaranteed money.
He would have got like what like twenty four off
of the tag. He gets like twenty or something to
that effect off of the signing bonus.

He's making thirty million guaranteed from a roster bonus in
twenty four Yes.

you're hadging your back, you're saying, yeah, we're gonna give
you I've had I mean, I know I've had these

these clauses in my own contracts.

If if for some strange reason, say T Higgins, he
has an injury that that holds him out and they
have success this year, do you think they're going to
bring T. Higgins back for the next season. Yes, I
don't think so amount of money that they're guaranteeing them.

out garbage.

open market and got more money from another team. But

that marriage, especially with Joe Burrow, who was arguably the
best quarterback in football, and go play somewhere else for
a few four or five or six million dollars more.
It doesn't make sense. But for me, the Bengals, I
think they they they compensated these guys. They earned the money,
just like TJ said, but I think they went about

it the wrong way. They could have paid T Higgins
two years ago, five years.

And now with the signing of these two guys, I
believe that Trey Henderson is gonna is going to be

all three of these eyes, Joe Burrow, Jamar Chase and
T Higgins, out of two hundred and seventy nine million
dollars in the salary cap they take up one hundred
and twenty.

Four million, and that's just three players. So I don't
know what the same Cinnati bankers are going to.

Do moving forward defensively, but they have to be able
to find a way to stop people on the other
side of the football. It's no it's no way in

They're five thousand yards and they can't even get into
the playoffs.

they have right now is based upon them trusting or
not trusting that t Higgins can stay.

the ten million comes next year for the roster bonus
next year. So his signing bonus, the money he gets

open to changing his offensive philosophy? I believe the way
Aaron Rodgers played down the stretch, he'd be a great addition.

For the IBF title and then forming a jab right
down the middle back to back and dropped him and
oldest heavyweight champ still to this day, you know, in
the history of the sport, that to me is what

always smiling, always with a smile on the space. All
his kids named George the Girls or George Genis, so
you know he was gonna make sure his name lived on.

resilience to I lose a holy Field in my forties,

to bust. They tails to earn his money. Who else
was the Bengals gonna give it to? Who else on
the team? Trey Hendrickson. They signed him as a free
agent from the Saints. They gave him at the time,
I thought when the Bengals when we signed Trey Hendrickson,

a great deal. Now now he's underpaid. Outside of signing
Trey Hendrickson's to extension, who else on that team has
earned a deal. So you got to pay somebody. Pay
the guys that have earned it. They've earned it. Now
when you talk about I think he got a great deal.
Could he have gotten more on an open market? Probably so, But.

He could have got more off of just the franchise
tag too. That's not guarantee in terms of guarantees guaranteed money.

the team. Now the key would be with Arthur Smith,
who likes to run a two yard and cloud of
dust offense. He did it in Minnesota, I mean in Minnesota.

He did it in Tennessee, he did it in Atlanta,
he did it last year in Pittsburgh. Would he be
open to changing his offensive philosophy? I believe the way
Aaron Rodgers played down the stretch, he'd be a great addition.
But he hasn't signed, so that makes me believe I
don't know if that's something he wants to do. That's

One thing that kind of you know, uh, you know,
kind of alarms me is that we just keep talking
about Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers, and he's like
holding all of these teams and organizations Hodges basically basically
uh you know, talking about him and the media like

every single day because he thinks that he is like
this great Well, he is a great quarterback, but he's
not Aaron Rodgers of ten years ago.

But even if he goes to Pittsburgh, I don't think
that that that this makes them a contender to win
the World Championship based off of the division that they
are in. I mean, that's just that's just me being
honest with with how Baltimore Lamar and the Cincinnati Bengals
and Joe Burrow are playing right now, you just you

expect for those teams to get better. And and Najea
Harris came out and said last year, within his offense,
we did not have no identity. And everybody knows that
Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Standard is that we want
to run the football. So you signed DK Metcalf and

you obviously you have George Pickens over there. Just like
TJ said, does Arthur Smith come in and change the
philosophy of his offense and start throwing the ball around
the yard forty five times a game? That hasn't been
what the stealers have been traditionally. So I don't know
what's going to happen where Aaron Rodgers is going to be.
Just like he just say, he's running out of options.
(39:37):
I believe that he will end up in Pittsburgh because
it seems like to me that the Venezula Vikings are
running with JJ McCarthy.
Speaker 5 (39:46):
Yeah, well, it sounds like they might want to throw
the ball around in Pittsburgh by bringing DK in. So
we'll see what happens with that. But man, could it
end up being him just retiring. I mean, that would
be kind of a lackluster way of finishing out your career.
But hey, it's his decision. He has a Hall of
Fame career first ballot at that, so we'll see how

it all plays out. I'm thinking it's going to be
Pittsburgh as well, but hey, we'll see how it happens.
