Make sure you check out up on Game wherever it
is that you get your podcast as well up on
game Presents extended content for your listening pleasure. We got
a lot to get you. As I mentioned, we're in
our one college football playoffs. I mean, we'll we'll touch
on some NFL. Of course, Aaron Rodgers is still in
the headlines. Yeah he's still in the headlines. But y'all, boy,
(01:36):
our boy, Antonio Pierce, he's in the headlines as well.
We'll get to him, but right now, let's keep it
to the NC two to A. It's college football playoffs, fellas,
it's the semifinals that just took place.
Speaker 2 (01:47):
What were the takeaways?
Speaker 3 (01:48):
I mean, we got Washington and Michigan in the championship round,
but man, like, those are some really, really exciting games.
I wasn't happy that Florida State did not make it
in to the football playoff. Gotta say I mighta not
have been happy that Georgia didn't make it into the
football playoff, and they showed Florida State wide they shouldn't
have been in the football playoff and why they should
(02:10):
have been in the football playoff. But nonetheless, we have Washington.
They have a big, big, big win in their game
and Michigan pulled out their win as well. So here
we go Texas versus Washington. They get to win, Washington
Huskies advance and Michigan gets the win against the Tide.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
What were y'all takeaways? Man?
Speaker 4 (02:32):
I mean, for me, it was I felt Washington and
Texas was more of the fifty to fifty game. I
felt like going into Michigan Bama, Michigan was gonna win
that game.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
That's what I thought going into it.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
Both games, as we know, came down to the last drive,
went down to the wire. And Washington with this offense
that they have, the explosiveness, the receivers, a quarterback, offensive
line like I felt like, oh yeah, Texas defensive line
is gonna put a ton of pressure on Pinis in
(03:06):
at Washington.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Old line, He's gonna have to get rid of the ball.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
The old line is so good fast, the receivers in
Pinis They get all the credit, but that old line
is really really good. So I'm interested to see how
Michigan matches up with them, what type of game we get.
But when you say Georgia or Florida State should have
(03:30):
been the way these semi final games win, I don't
know how you take any of those teams out, they
were that that impressed.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
It was as advertised.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Now, I will say that if Texas to me, out
of all the teams there, Texas didn't have the quarterback
play the other team Quinn yours is not JJ McCarthy,
He's not pinnis he was. He wasn't even Milrow like
I felt like he missed some throws that had he made,
Texas probably would have had a chance to win this game.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
Plechiko is a fan of mill Row. I mean, what
was your takeaway from from the games?
Speaker 2 (04:03):
You know, I was. I was a little disappointed.
Speaker 5 (04:05):
I can't even front because I can't believe that I
got to sit here and watching Michigan play for a
national championship.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Because you did pick back to win. I recall last.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
Saturday that they're that much is better than US forty
five minutes down the street, and they getting ready to
compete for Nation. It makes me sick to my stomach,
it really does. How'd y'all last game go? Oh my greatness, Miro,
I thought the Alabama in the Michigan game, Mirroor didn't
have a pass completed until the second half.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
This was my first time Washington play for a whole
football game your text messages.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
I did not know that he was not a past
capable quarterback, and I learned that Washington game against Michigan.
But I'll say this, man, you know, going to this
National championship game, it's a possibility that Washington may go
fourteen and oh fifteen, And I don't see why they
under that offense. And if I'm Mischian and I'm looking
(05:04):
at this Washington offense and offense line, just like you said,
nobody knew how good they were until they played Texas,
I don't know how they're gonna slow these guys down
when they come out and for five wide receivers. And
that's why I said a few a few weeks ago
it I thought Michael Pennis Junr Was a Heisman Trophy
winner and he's putting that on display why he is
(05:25):
the best player in college football. And I'm looking for
I'm really looking forward to this game to see how
what Michigan is going to do defensively to slow Washington down.
And they running back from up from Washington's not bad either.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
They run the ball. They do, They really do run
the ball, and they're.
Speaker 5 (05:43):
A lot more physical than than you take them for.
And listen, it's been a pleasure watching it, obviously because
they're on the West coast over here with you guys,
so we don't really get to see them play that
much on the East coast. But man, they may just
be the best team in the nation. And we're gonna
find out on Monday.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
And they're coming to the ten next year, which is
kind of scary when you start to talk about, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Them in Oregon, so all you teams and coming to.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
The all Michael going, Yeah, here's a problem with Michael
Pennick junior. He was in the ten. He was at
Indiana and it was giving the people all kinds of
problems in the COVID year and then and.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
That means that means pan State gonna finish a little lord,
and they normally used to finishing.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
So so so tell me this.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
I just.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Bang bang at nine o eight in the morning, twelve
New Eastern.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Ye tell me that.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
So I saw that to off subject too from Maryland
going for his tennis girls building in the portal. So
if you're about to graduate as a senior, you can
go into the portal and get another year.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
What he's trying to do is see if he can
get another year, because when he was at Bama, he
played in five games when you only allow to play
in fourward in one of the games he only played
like two snaps.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
And that counts as him playing counts as a season.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
And he's also saying the COVID season technically wasn't a
full season. We only played four or five games. So
he's trying to see if the NCAA giving another year.
I mean, I don't know why they wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
I mean catches like then we have like a seventh year,
eighth year player tight end or something like that kept
getting injured or what transferred and transferred and transferred like
seven eight years and that man hit like thirty and
he's still in college. Do something with your life.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Man, Hey, listen, ain't ready to move on.
Speaker 3 (07:41):
He ready professional college football player. You know, when I
look at Washington, I got an opportunity. Me and man
went to Vegas to see them play in in the
Pack Championship against Orgon, and I really thought that organ
was going getting some problems, and they did at one
(08:02):
point they made it a game. But the one thing
that you said TJ, that I think I lean on
with with Washington is they've proven that they're a complete team.
Like their offense, they are, They're they're very unassumingly or
sneaky physical. It's a physical football team on the offensive
side of the ball. But the one thing that you know,
I'm a defensive guy, So one thing I was super
impressed about was the way they play defense. Like they
(08:26):
just seem like they were faster than Oregon. And Oregon
is fast, you know, that's a that's a fast group,
that's a fast outfit. And Washington looked faster, they looked
more physical, and I was like, well, man, like, this
is kind of a shocker. And I was wondering how
that would translate against an athletic, super physical Texas team.
And I'll tell you what it translated. Well, they they
(08:51):
get after the quarterback very well. That's the one thing
that they really have have prided themselves on is having
a really good pass rush, being able to get to
the quarterback and putting that pressure on them.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
And so that's uh, that.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Was super That was a super critical piece and I
think that'll be a critical piece in this game against Michigan.
Michigan doesn't really like throwing the ball I mean, don't.
If you recall the game against US, they didn't throw
the ball out all.
Speaker 5 (09:19):
Look at look at this assicis from JJ McCarthy in
this last game against Alabama.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
He completed four passes in the second half.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
But he can throw behind the running game and in
a game, but he can throw him to manage the
football game.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
That's exactly because they beat the hell out of everybody
that they play against. They where you the hell we
have a stellar defense and probably the best running game
in all This is what we're going to him behind that.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Because you say they have a stellar defense, right, they
have yet to face anybody that's close to washing offensively.
And so Michigan loves to play man the man defense.
You're gonna have to man up doonsay, you gonna have
to man up McMillan, You're gonna have to man up Polk.
(10:07):
And so that will be interesting to see how Michigan
corners match up against Washington's receivers because Michigan's gonna play
man the man, that's what they're gonna do. They did
it against Ohio State, they do it against everybody, and
so can they match up with Washington's receivers and then
(10:27):
will they be able to pressure Pinnis. If they can't
pressure Pinis, does Michigan have enough firepower on offense to
keep up.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Let's keep in mind last year the firepower wasn't there
when they played in the playoffs and against Michigan's Tech
and against the Texas Tech team that txcuse me, TCU
TCU team that to me was a running gun style
offense as well. They were speedy, they were undersized, but
they they caught Michigan off guard. Now, I don't think
(10:55):
Michigan's gonna get caught off guard this year against Washington.
But I also think that Washington is a better team
coming into this game against Michigan than what TCU was
going up against.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Michigan is a much better team as well. They're they're
better defensively than they were last year.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think going into the going into
this last game with with with the Texas and Washington,
everybody was picking Texas because, just like you said earlier,
everybody thought that Texas was going to out physical.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Washington, and I did too. Seemed to make sense.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
And I watched that football game and just like you said,
they were sneaky physical on the low and I think
it kind of shock Texas a little bit.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
That's Plexico Burds, that's t J. Huschman's out. I'm LeVar Arrington.
This is up on game. Make sure you stay tuned in.
Sit tight. We're gonna take a quick break. But on
the other side of the break, who you got in
the Super Bowl? I mean, we're heading into the last week,
the final week of the NFL, going into the playoffs.
It's looking like it's going to be a team from
(11:59):
the Bay and a team that's on the water on
the East coast. What are you thinking about it? We're
gonna get TJ and Plexico's opinion on that. On the
other side is break. We'll take a quick one. We'll
be right back. Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Man?
Speaker 3 (13:39):
Why why is Diabo's eye blackened? Somebody thene dotted him up?
And can better watch how you speak to people. You
had a horrible season, die Bo. Let me punch you
in the eye. Hey, all right, guys. So speaking of
punching in the eye, Yeah right, the NFL is one
(14:00):
we know, is this some interesting games going on? You know,
the Pittsburgh Steelers, Your Pittsburgh Steelers are going to play
for a playoff bit against the Baltimore Ravens. They're resting, guys. Uh,
but you gotta believe at this point, heading into the
final weekend of the NFL regular season, that the two
(14:21):
teams that are destined to meet are the Niners in
the Ravens. This is what looks like, what do you
say to the fact or the notion that there isn't
a team and if there is a team in the NFC,
who's that team that can beat them the Niners?
Speaker 2 (14:41):
And if there is a team in.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
The AFC right now to day that can beat those Ravens,
who are they?
Speaker 5 (14:48):
So when you started this, when you started this top
of you said you up put your Pittsburgh still, I mean,
I thought referring to.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Me and I said, you're Pittsburgh Steelers going to damn
terrible towing is do you know that the Jacksonville Jaguars
did the same thing and their season fell apart after
they did that.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
It's the Curse of the Terrible Tower. Did anything happened
to you after you did that to the terrible towel.
Speaker 2 (15:11):
That they probably the game?
Speaker 3 (15:13):
Did your quality of life go down after you did
something to the Terrible Towel?
Speaker 2 (15:17):
No? I was good.
Speaker 4 (15:18):
But see I wasn't on social media either. I didn't
get on social It was no damn social media. It came,
no nodate. Twitter was like the following year, and in
Instagram whenever that started. I didn't get onto years.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
We was on black planet. I wasn't on social media,
old asses.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
We was all platform y'all don't even know about They
were still the computer was still going.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
A smooth magazine. Hey man, smooth hey.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
But look, man, I gotta say this is about when
on Pittsburgh Stealers. Man, the Pittsburgh Steelers are nine and.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
Seven, they're about to be down to eight.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Well, they're nine to seven right now.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
And obviously today Baltimore is not playing Lamar Jackson and
Odell Beckham. So I think that gives your up ahead.
Hold on you, I think that gives them ahead.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
I don't BEJ your boy, but you said OBJJ listen.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
I mean, he's doing all right. But if you said,
say Flowers.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
But what I'm getting to is this all right? Where
you go, where you go?
Speaker 5 (16:29):
A month or a month and a half ago, everybody
was calling for Mike Thomas job. Here he is in
his fifth, fourteenth or fifteen season and has head coach
of this organization and has never and has never had
a losing seat. Even they lose this game today, they're
going to go nine and eight. But I think that
he will wield this this team, in this offense and
(16:51):
this defense to win one game. And you always, he
always says this, It doesn't matter how you get into
the turn just get into the damn tournament because anything
can happen. And I think that's what they're sitting on
the brink of today.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
No little more.
Speaker 3 (17:08):
You think they could be a problem in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
It doesn't matter. Just get into the tournament.
Speaker 5 (17:14):
They don't enough when we went into the playoffs as
a wild card, reckless season.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Doesn't matter.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
Just get yourself and talking about the giants, the Giants,
Just get yourself in a in a position and the opportunity.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
You do know how good that team was that to win, y'all,
y'all had all y'all, how good team was Steelers. Where
the point's gonna come from? Where the point the Steelers
can't score? Like when you look at when the Steelers
are wining, they're running the ball. You're not running the
ball on Baltimore, You're not running the ball. I don't
care who they sit out, you are not running the ball. Now,
why would you play your stars if you're number one?
(17:48):
See offensively, you only have so many guys you can sit.
You only have so many guys you can sit. Now,
I will say all the guys that are backups and
the second team, let them play. After saying all that,
we know the Steelers have already beaten the Ravens, what
starters in this season already, and so it's what Mike
Tallan has done. I don't know why people calling for
(18:08):
it said. The problem is everybody were all the best teams.
They're offensive teams first, whereas the Steelers are defensive teams first.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
They're a defensive team first.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
And if you can't score points, nobody thinks you can
do anything once you get to the playoffs.
Speaker 5 (18:27):
Still always been defense first, even when I was there
and I was playing with your room and huns.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
But it's always been there.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
It will forever be defen and then you had a
Ben Roethlisberger that was able to make plays. They don't
have that. They don't have. They don't have that. Now
it would always be a Ben Roethlisberger hit. Throw it
to ab hit, throw it to a Plexico. He'll throw
it to a Mike Wallace. He'll throw it to a
Santonio Homes some names.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Now y'all got one. Then you go Mason, we got
one and a tight end.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
You got fire move?
Speaker 4 (18:58):
But can you go Mason Rudolph to George Pickens? I
don't know what the biggest issue though, Yeah, they don't
have offense. That's the quarterbacks issue too, right is it?
It's a quarterback, it's an offensive system.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I would say this.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
I mean it could be both, but Mike definitely. Mike
Sullivan was my wide receiving coach of the Giants. He
is now the officeive coordinating for the Steels. What he
is doing.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
With uh, Mason Rudolph and Mitchell not mitche Tubisky.
Speaker 5 (19:23):
Oh my god, he tried it. He makes my stomach crean.
You tried it, Mason Rudolph and George Pickens. He is recognizing,
he understands how special the fourteen.
Speaker 2 (19:36):
That's Elon pa That's exactly what he's doing.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
Because some of the players that they're running the spinnaker
in the X ray with the post and the deep
dig underneath.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
That was all offense out of an I for mation.
So what he is doing that?
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Remember Jeremy Sackey tight end y'all had?
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Well? Who was Tim? Tim? What? What was Tim?
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Call?
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Tim? Take the top off of a defense? Taking on top?
How you talking about? Tim? Was fine? He was fast?
Speaker 3 (20:03):
Yead money tumor here too? Who else was out there
with us? Who else?
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Y'all have receivers, so they couldn't just.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Put the defense on you like, but they're going to
skim the pickets?
Speaker 2 (20:17):
What is easy to whose to going into the season.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
Deontay Johnson was the number one receiver and he may
still be at times.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
No, he's he is at time his paycheck said he is.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Give him the paycheck. I'm not going to give him
the game. Well he well, he didn't have to paycheck.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
He can play. He ain't gaming. He can play.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
He ain't easy. He's been quiet. He can put that
he's been invisible. What Mike Tomill Carton man, they put
all their money on defense? Where are you at?
Speaker 4 (20:47):
So the guys on offense, they don't have the resources
and so. But Steelers what they have always done well,
he got the paycheck. They're gonna draft edge rushers and
they gonna draft receivers, be very very well, that's what
they do well.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
But win this game.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
Even if they win, they still need help, even if
they are not in if they win.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
Why y'all so locked in on the Steelers. But listen,
it is the best team in the.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
Best team in is no questions, It's no question. Is
it the Bills? Who isn't Who's gonna be the Ravens Baltimore?
Who's gonna beat the real body? Who's gonna beat the Ravens?
Somebody's gonna have to get hurt.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
I think the Bill.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
I think the Bills are the team that can do it.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Huh. I think the Bills. Watch the Bills play offensive football.
Speaker 3 (21:32):
I think the Bills are the team that can do it.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
Have you who have you watched them play offense?
Speaker 3 (21:37):
Hey, the Ravens just added your boy Dalvin Cook to
mister Dalvin Listen, they're gonna go adok to show me something.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
I just don't think moving forward in the playoff. Believe
that no team is gonna go into Baltimore and beat
them in the playoffs. I just don't see any AFC
team doing that.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
Baltimore is such a complete team. You can't Kansas City
Camp can't win. Kansas City might not even win a
playoff game. Might be right, they might not win a
playoff game. How Patrick Mahons made the Pro Bowl over
Josh Allen is crazy?
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Yeah, it's crazy. Overho that's what Josh Allen? Over who?
That's what? Five?
Speaker 4 (22:18):
Over the Buffalo quarterback, Josh Allen, Yeah, over the Buffalo quarterback.
Now you go to the NFC, we would right now
say nobody's beating the Niners. I mean right now, it
just looks so simple, and we know this is not
how it work. Why the Eagles just just fall apart?
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Fall apart? The Eagles look bad, man, I mean, Malone
in at this what I don't get it.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
You have all them weapons, you got all this good
stuff going for you. You can't win a game anymore.
What happened?
Speaker 4 (22:53):
They can't they can't play defense, they can't get the
stop when they need it. They can't. They can't play football.
Once Jalen Hursts gets them that lead, their defense can't
hold it.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
That's the problem that happened in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
And so but it does look as if it will
be the Baltimore Ravens in San Francisco, and on paper,
I can't even look at a team in the a
f C or the NFC that can come between that.
I would have said, Oh, the Dolphins maybe can beat
the Ravens. Oh man, they just got smoked.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
I really think in the NFC Championship game, I think
Dallas is gonna return to San Francisco.
Speaker 7 (23:29):
And they're gonna get smoked. I don't think they're gonna
get smoked. Man, not twice. I don't know, not twice.
They blocked the hell out of Micah in that game
for one. For two they knew that defense really really.
Speaker 5 (23:46):
William all the beef that was going on between Micah
and the offense after that football game with with with
Deebo and Kittles real big. That is one of those
things with if Cowboys go back to San Francisco, it's
gonna be a hell.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Of playing one.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
He's got to be top three in the game right now.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
Listen.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
I would say he's playing in the NFC, Dallas has
the best chance.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
And the Cowboys, the Cowboys should be coming off of
it now. And we're talking about the Cowboys. They literally
lost that game. Mike McCarthy gotta be one of the
worst head coaches when it comes to manage him. The
clock that I've ever seen in my life, and he
get paid for this. He get paid for this. You
really you throwing the ball when you should just run?
(24:39):
Are you really thing the ball?
Speaker 3 (24:41):
He got a little saying that thatst Listen.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
Were we all not watching that game, saying why is
he throwing the ball? Were we not what we play Madden?
I'm running the ball in Madden. He throwing the ball
in real life? So what makes me believe that when
the game is on the line in the playoffs, he
gonna wake up? Because this ain't the first time he's
done this. This is what he A dog barks, a
(25:05):
bird flies, Mike McCarthy gonna mess the clock up.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Count on it, Dawn.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
I do believe that, Dallas. No, I'm not doing it.
I still they have the best chance to beat the
but could get there. Gotta be a chance Syriannie could
get them on track, Like.
Speaker 4 (25:30):
There's gotta be a chance that you think so, Hey,
hold on there imploded, Hey, lass, I think they got
the best chance. For the last how many weeks has
everybody been saying the Eagle is gonna turn it around?
Speaker 2 (25:44):
The Eagles gotta fix their issues? How many wins a week?
And week? It's like three.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
So if you haven't done it the regularly, what makes
you think you're gonna do in the playoffs?
Speaker 3 (25:56):
Because they have the personnel to do it and just
maybe they just maybe they just took a break.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
They took, they took some had a number two seed
and blew it last week.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
So if they couldn't do it with that on the line,
what make you like hard to the Cardinals?
Speaker 2 (26:14):
They had the number two man.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Super Mario Murray is is the man? Bro like, that's
a different team with Cayler Murray. Yes, I'm not sweating
the Cardinals. The Cardinals is a better team than what
people thought. The Rams are a better team than what
people thought.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
And we think do't say don't say that about about
the Cardinals? Why? Because they are who we thought they were.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
Fools gold They are five games without I mean caller
Murray man, I don't playing quarterback. His mama called him
caller Murray. I'm gonna call him Caller Murray Man. They
he got back on the field and it's been a
different team ever since. They played some inspired football. They
finally got their franchise guy back and now they're beating team.
(27:00):
I don't hold that against an Eagles team that has
been struggling. But if I were to say there's one
team that could beat the forty nine ers, it's the Eagles.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
The one team for me would be the Detroit Lions.
Hell no, it would be the Detroit Lions.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
I think it's been a great story, but I think
you have to pick the wif if you have to
pick a.
Speaker 4 (27:23):
Team, Detroit Lions are the second best team in the NFI.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
Detroit line.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
They played physical brand of football. Match up the only
team that can match up with the Niners.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
They can't.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
They won't beat the Nighters. They ain't got Barry Sanders.
Ain't got Barry Sanders. I just watched by Ain't the Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Ain't got him?
Speaker 5 (27:42):
Hey, every time I hear about these lines, man, I
just say to myself, I think about going to watch
them in the pontact superdoing what the volume to Dan
Campbell when he when he played the as tight end.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
That's what that's what I used to be. Dan Campbell
would say that ain't the case. LeVar.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
No, we would say he used to dry you back,
put him on the phone, and pancake put him on
the phone and then and then help you up.
Speaker 2 (28:08):
It's an accurate t. J. Huchman's out of ask.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
In fact, he's opening press conference where they said they're
gonna knock us down and we're gonna punch him in
the knees. He was talking about me knocking his ass down.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
He wasn't talking about nobody else. You remember when I
was whooping his ass. You heard it here first. You
heard it here first. I walked around the corner. He
punched me in my chest.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
I was like, ah, somebody got to ask somebody got
to ask Dan Campbell about that.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
You know, I can't see how there would be any
debate on if LeVar Arrington versus Dan camp I don't
see how there was a will come where Dan Cowboys
was doing.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
His thingy Eagles are a bigger threat.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
I don't see. I don't see how it's a debate
how Detroit and I like the story in Detroit. I
like what Detroit did this year I like it, but
you like the Eagles better than the Lions. I trusted back.
I trust that I can at least.
Speaker 4 (28:57):
Take him saying the Cowboys, because at least the cow
beat the Eagles in the game they shouldn't have won.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
But trusted better, and I think that Nick Sirianni and
the Eagles are going to prove it.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Okay, let me ask you this quest, TJ.
Speaker 5 (29:10):
What NFC team is more likely to go out of
the first round as being a divisional winner.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
It would be the twelve Troy lines. It's very possible.
I can.
Speaker 4 (29:22):
Could be Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay,
gont probably had to play the Eagles, Tampa Bay.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
Eight and eight, eight and nine is going to win
the division.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
Tampa Bay to play the shouts out the Baker Mayfield.
He had a good year, he pulled it together. I
mean they did have a good had a good month.
Tampa Bay. They going home first round. They going home
if they went out at first round.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
That that that is.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
When you said divisional winners, I'm thinking divisional winners that
actually have a chance.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
I don't exactly. We're not even lifting that chance in
the playoffs. Really really not looking at him.
Speaker 4 (29:58):
As having a chance in a player you who always
has a chance and he gets it done, always delivers,
always makes it work. Come on, now, hey, ilot know man.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
Do how you do it? Ilo Like do it like
you're doing it for TV. Like you do it like
you do it when you do it? Do do dude?
Speaker 2 (30:17):
You know what's trending? What you got thanks to the
three of you.
Speaker 8 (30:20):
Dabo Sweeney's black eye is trending.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
That's right.
Speaker 8 (30:25):
Clemson had football coach Dabo Sweeney show pretty much. He
showed up in the stands of Clemson's men's basketball game
today against North Carolina with a huge black eye underneath
his left eye. Nobody knew about it until the three
of you brought it up, and now it is trending
on social media. No word yet on what happened to
(30:46):
coach Sweeney, but what happened was that has not stopped
your fellow social media brethren from weighing in, Heel commenting,
Dabo must have just had his meeting with Clemson boosters
after going for for the AC. Meanwhile, Austin commenting, I
want to know who lived out my dream of punching Dabbo.
(31:11):
Then there was Crispin, who added and I quote whoever
did this to Dabbo, I owe you a cold beverage
l m f aooo.
Speaker 2 (31:21):
If that's the case, somebody gonna blacket right out. Dang.
Speaker 8 (31:25):
What is l m faooo stand for? Again?
Speaker 2 (31:29):
Anyway?
Speaker 8 (31:30):
Cody posting did someone smoke him for not getting the
ni L bag? And finally Patsy commenting, I don't know
what happened, but I'm sure.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
He deserved it.
Speaker 8 (31:42):
Jes people out there anyway. A short time ago, at
Houston side of Monday's National Championship game, Michigan head coach
Jim Harbaugh was asked about his coaching future.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Yeah, there's a calendar. I'll gladly talk about the future
next week as I hope to have one. How about
that the future, I hope to have one. Yes, thank you. Yes,
it is.
Speaker 8 (32:12):
Lie with me as long as it's the Chargers anyway.
NFL media reports that Jacksonville Jaguars planning to activate receiver
Christian Kirkhoff of injured reserve fire to tomorrow's regular season
finale against the Titans. The Jaguars can cleanse the AFC
South title with a victory. ESPN reporting Baltimore Ravens defensive
tackle Michael Peers has agreed to a two year, seven
point five million dollar extension through twenty twenty five. That
(32:36):
is what is trending at this hour, and we will
continue to update you on any further details about Dabo
Sweeney's Black Eye.
Speaker 2 (32:44):

Humplex yeah, Earth Window far Yeah, we did. Hey, Hey,
thoughts and super.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
They ain't doing earth last week, man, man Ward damn
bed right now.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
Yeah, that's you know, you're doing well in about twenty
minutes from where we at right where that's.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
Where he was. That's unfortunate.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
Yeah, man, you gotta check on your people, man, because
God life, life ain't easy, and life ain't hard, and
sometimes you need a little inspiration with what's taking place.
And you know what, we are alive in the tie
rack dot com studios and well, y'all's boy, Aaron Rodgers
speaking of inspiration boy, Yeah, y'all's boy, Aaron Rodgers, mushroom man, you.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Know, attention junkie. He just got awarded voted by the jets.
I thought, I let that that that. I can't this
build up waiting to hear because I don't know what
damn award he.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Can get me A drum roll, Most Inspiration.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
You gotta be kidding, why not? Why why you can't
get up? Aaron Rodgers? Your winner for this year's award? Jay,
are you most?
Speaker 3 (36:01):
Are you inspirational player?
Speaker 2 (36:04):
Come on over here, come on down.
Speaker 4 (36:06):
If somebody got to get the war for Most Inspiration,
you have inspired everybody and what and nobody.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
Has he inspired? Anybody, your thoughts, your ideas, your interviews.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
They have inspired an entire fan base.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
Has nothing to do with his thoughts, his ideas, nor
his interviews.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
It has inspired an owner and its coaching staff. They
have been inspired by Aaron Rodgers, now known as the
New York Jets most inspiration.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
And a raising ticket prices.
Speaker 9 (36:41):
Because he's coming back for you know why he's inspirational
because that man blew his foot up on play four
as a New York Jet.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
And almost came back and played. That's why. What an inspiration?
Speaker 4 (36:57):
What the desire there, the want to, the want LaVar
you you torn your achilles and I was done?
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Were you back walking in three and a half months on?
Were you able to do?
Speaker 4 (37:08):
Like?
Speaker 2 (37:09):
No?
Speaker 4 (37:09):
And so I think the scene for three and a
half months the team looked at the progress.
Speaker 5 (37:15):
Was one of the most funniest thing. Just went to
sleep y'all wake me up when hours on the side
line with half man, hold on, I gotta tell this story. Man.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
We're playing Dallas Cowboys or something like football. Yes we are.
Speaker 5 (37:28):
It's like what is like third I don't know what
was it? It was the first drive, second drive, yeah,
second drive or whatever. The Cowboys get the ball on
two lines. I was balling and Tony Tony Romo dropped back.
LeVar hit maybe the big gap between.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
It was bledso it was they put Romo in because
we was banging, banging ble soo up. Yeah, that was
saying I ever got my career's everything first and last.
That was the the game Romo came in. You were
exactly right. We gave Romo his opportunity.
Speaker 9 (38:05):
Man.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
Anyway, the whole open up.
Speaker 5 (38:07):
The vaut hit the gap and before blestchuckle turning round,
he was in the hole bomb safety balling.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
Remember we were start balling that year. He yo. We
jumped up about the day off and off the bench
and he came to the sun helmet. He said, I'm
done dog. Meanwhile, this is the offense and something you
didn't get stretchered out. No, no, no, but it happened.
Speaker 5 (38:30):
When he said that, I toured it off when he
when he said that to me, I was like, Okay,
he done for the rest of the game. I never
thought that he was being dead serious. He was like,
I'm never playing football.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
When I was after I tore it that that, I
went back out there, I was like, I was like
my joint.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
Pop.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
I said, whatever man you hit in the moment, I
ran on, I ran on the field done, and he
was this here done.
Speaker 4 (38:55):
But going through a torn achilles you know how that
rehabit just to live a normal life, let alone play
football painful. That's why Aaron Rodgers' most inspiration ain't naked. No,
that's that he had no impact on their season. It's
not because of them losing. The way he put the
(39:15):
work in. They saw that that was his work is
an achilles. So who is he inspired?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Is he is he the guys guy voting the team?
Who terms his achilles? Is that? Who is he inspired?
Speaker 4 (39:28):
Inspiring guys to put the work in that? I mean,
who else on the just gonna be the most inspirational?
You don't know any tribulations they have gone through.
Speaker 5 (39:39):
If you look up the up and up and down
the damn roster, don't give out the damn award, then.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Take away the war. If Aaron Rodgers is wearing don
like Aaron.
Speaker 5 (39:47):
Rodgers, I don't have a problem with him, but you
don't give him the most Inspiration award?
Speaker 2 (39:53):
Somebody else? Give it to Quinny Williams. What what did
he inspire you? Know why, because Hello, blow that man
to be able to come back from some adversity.
Speaker 5 (40:06):
Man, you know what, That man played every snap and
I remember vividly, as you say, the Buffalo Bills game
when they was run up and down the field. This
man was upset, holly upset that this defense was giving
up the points the way they were.
Speaker 4 (40:23):
Hey, listen, that just shows y'all were the New York
Jets are Its Hour Two's coming at you next
