you know stuff like that, have your material used and
all that?

Speaker 2 (02:19):
How you feeling man?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Happy Saturday?

Speaker 6 (02:23):
Fellers?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
You know my big shoulder brothers in christ. You know,
I just got me a nice morning workout at the
gym this morning, you know, a little shoulder, little shoulder
maintenance work.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
You know.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
I ate my Greek yogurt, you know my Purely Elizabeth
chocolate Sea salt granola.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
And I say that because I had to get everything
out of the way.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I had to get everything done this morning, because we're
getting ready for the funeral tonight in any And that
though at eight pm Eastern Standard time, I think it
might be over. I don't know what y'all. I don't
know what y'all think about this Game six is going
down tonight, but I think it might be over.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Even though I will say, I will say.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
All the pressure is on Indy tonight, the Pacers of Indiana.
The pressure is on them tonight because if they do
not close this series out tonight, if they freeze up
tonight at home in front of Caitlin Clark and Pat
McAfee and Rick Smith and George Hill, if they freeze
up tonight, I will say, the Knicks are gonna win

(03:25):
in Game seven. So you cannot let the series get
back to the garden.

Speaker 8 (03:29):
No, you cannot, Man, I'm confident in Indiana enough to
they understand how dire this game success for them? Because
if if it just so happens, if the Knicks make
it out of game six and they gotta go back
to Madison Square Garden. Uh, you know, I don't think
they beat New York, you know, in the garden. But

(03:52):
I say this, man for Indiana, Man, nim Hard and
Turners just been struggling.

Speaker 6 (03:58):
Man, Uh the last three games.

Speaker 8 (04:01):
Them Hard has only had six points a game, at
eighteen points in three games, and it just it looks
like to me that Shepherd and them Hard they cannot
guard Jalen Brunson.

Speaker 6 (04:15):
They just can't do it. So I don't know what
you do if.

Speaker 8 (04:19):
You rip Carlyle as far as you know, defending Jalen Brunson,
obviously you gotta do it with.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
Drawing to Blake. But anyway, hey, yeah, Nee Smith, you.

Speaker 8 (04:33):
Cannot guard if you go to double Jalen Brunson with
nim Hard and Shepherd.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
When Jayleen Brunston.

Speaker 8 (04:41):
Gets the ball, it needs to be an immediate double
because he's gonna get them guys into that fifteen to
eight foot range in that paint and he's just going
to out muscle the destroyer but I think for this game,
Hallibert is going to be I think it's going to
be great. I really do tonight, and I think every
is going to follow suit. And I just think they

(05:02):
just got to lean a little bit more on pal siakam.

Speaker 6 (05:05):
One on one because he's.

Speaker 8 (05:07):
The one guy I don't think anybody on that team
really can cover.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
I think I think the issue the issue in game
five is watching the tape. The Pacers didn't have their
normal fast break points. They didn't get out and run
like they've done most of the games they won this series,
and they're gonna have to get back to pushing the
pace Halliburton, like you said, he's gonna have to be
in triple double mode pushing that pace. But you cannot
win this game six when you only had one. You

(05:34):
had Siaka was the only guy in double figures in
the start and five last game. In game five he
had fifteen, six and five, but like you said, Plaq
nim Hard only had six. He had no show. You know,
Miles Turner, he's known, he has he has a history
of disappearing, And that's why I don't really trust the
Pacers if they do get past the Knicks in this
series tonight. I don't trust him in the finals because

(05:55):
I like Mount Turner as a player, but he has
a he has a tendency to disappear, and that's what
scares me about Miles Turner. But I agree with you.
I think they need to run their offense in the
half court. They need to run those ISOs, get those switches,
and they need to let Pascal Seya can go to
work because we've seen his championship pedigree. He's been in

(06:15):
these big games, He's been in these big moments before.
And I think Siakam is going to rise He's gonna
rise up tonight. But Benedict Mathern is the guy that
I'm looking at. Benedict mathering he had twenty three points.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
Yeah yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Off the bench, so he's going he's starting to wake up.
He struggled most of the playoffs, so I think ben
Adict Matherins he should show up tonight. And also, my
favorite guy on the Pacers outside of Halliburton, and I've
said that, y'all heard me say this before, but HEJ McConnell.
He is the spark plug for this team.

Speaker 8 (06:46):
So he knock though he got knocked down some shots yeah, he.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
Had to scoring last game too, by the way, it
wasn't it wasn't uh, you know, Pascal, that was the
only one that hit double digits, Benedict. Benedict lad the
team and yeah he.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Had twenty three. Yeah, twenty three. Yeah, so they're gonna
they're gonna need double figures from somebody OFFA had eleven
as well, so he.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
Cups a cups. Can you agree with me on this?
It seems like to me that Rick.

Speaker 8 (07:17):
Carlile and Thibodeau are kind of playing a chess match
with this whole substitution thing. I don't recall Jalen Brunson
being on the bench ever this long in any game
or any series.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
It kind of seems like to me.

Speaker 8 (07:31):
When Halliburton's off the floor, uh, Jalen Brunce is off
the floor, and he's trying to get a spark from
from Bridges and some of these guys come coming up,
coming off the bench and really just trying to get uh,
you know, a neutral even scoring difference with that nick

(07:52):
bench on the court, knowing that Indiana is kind of,
you know, not playing their starters as much as they're
supposed to.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
And that's you're right, Black. That's the advantage that the
Pacers do have though, because they're ten or eleven deep,
and Tibbs knows that, and he has a tendency to
run his guys in the ground, so he's trying to
preserve Brunton as much as possible. And that's why I
say the only way the Knicks really have a chance
to go in there and win this game is they
have to play through Call Anthony Towns. They have to

(08:23):
feed Call Anthony Towns. Because he's been ultra aggressively black
couple games. You've seen them, double doubles, ultra aggressive for
three he's getting in one.

Speaker 8 (08:35):
It depends on what kind of catch you gonna get, though.

Speaker 6 (08:38):
We don't know until he goes out and plays.

Speaker 8 (08:41):
You cannot sit here and say, uh, you know what,
call Afthlety Towns is gonna go out and give me
twenty five tonight.

Speaker 6 (08:47):
You can't say that.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Yeah, you can't. Cause why that's why he's always been
such of an enigma his whole career, because he'll give
me twenty four and fifteen. Then the net game he'll
have twelve and six. So tonight, if he has twelve
and six, the New York Knicks will be in Cabo.
Is that simple?

Speaker 9 (09:07):
It comes to me if you go back to game four,
Halliburton was extremely aggressive from the outset, scoring, rebounding, and
even getting assists. Game five, it was more like he
was just trying to find his way. So to me,
tonight's game is gonna boil down to what type of

(09:29):
player Halliburd wants to be today. Is he gonna come
o and be the guy that is scoring and putting
points on the board and getting people involved, or he's
just gonna kind of play it safe because when he's
aggressive offensively trying to score the ball, then that Pacers
are tough to be no win the game. So to me,
it's gonna boil down to what mindset he has coming

(09:49):
into this game.

Speaker 3 (09:51):
It's a great point.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
TJ.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Like the thing with Halliburton is you could tell he's
still he's a pure point guard. He's a natural pass
first point guard, so you can see he struggles at times.
Really he's not a naturally aggressive guy, like a game lither,
like a Kyrie. He doesn't have that like score first mentality,
and I think he kind of struggles with that. But
you're you're totally correct about it. Tonight. He can't have

(10:14):
one of those stinkers where he got eight points, ten points.
They need eighteen to twenty twenty plus from him. He's
gonna get the assist they need, to rebounds they need,
They need a complete package, a complete game from him tonight,
because he can't go out there and just be like
just an ordinary pedestrian point guard tonight. Because Jalen Brunston,
I'm telling you, he lives for these big games.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
That's how he's made his reputation.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Jalen Brunt is going to bring it tonight. So Halliburnon
has the match that he has to at least equalized
him as far as the Vox score, it has the matchup.
If Brunt is gonna give you twenty five to thirty,
which we know he's all capable during tonight, caller burn
cannot walk out of it, well, he has to leave
it all on the for tonight. We need need up,
we need we need the performance like you said, where

(10:58):
he had the historical triple, the thirty point triple double.
I don't expect that from Halli Burton tonight, but you
gotta at least get it to twenty ball, at least if.

Speaker 8 (11:07):
You rickcall Ou man, and you this team defensively, you
gotta get out of your pride. You know what I mean.
This game is to go to the NBA Finals. And
just like you said, Cuz, Jalen Brunton is known for
these big moments and having these thirty thirty five forty
point games and that's how he has made his name.

Speaker 6 (11:26):
But if you're the.

Speaker 8 (11:26):
Indiana Pacers, and that has been the scout report on
Jalen Brunton since he has arrived in New York.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
Yo, Man, when he gets the ball, just don't and
get him off the ball.

Speaker 8 (11:40):
Show me that somebody else on this basketball team offensively
can make shots and beat us.

Speaker 6 (11:47):
Make cat beat us.

Speaker 8 (11:49):
But I'm not just gonna let Jalen Brunson go one
on one. Obviously, Nee Smith has been guarding them fantastically,
like in the pick and roll, and man the man
he's able to basically, you know, not not stop them,
but you know he has controlled them throughout the series.
But if Jaylen Brust is gonna go into this game

(12:11):
being aggressive, he makes his first three or four shots, Man,
you got to get out of your pride, man and
double this guy.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
Get the ball out of his hands and make.

Speaker 8 (12:19):
Mical Bridges or Mitchell Robinson or somebody else make shots
and beat me.

Speaker 6 (12:26):
I don't want to hear.

Speaker 8 (12:28):
If you're the Indiana Pacers, you lose a game six
and go back to the garden and Jalen Brusting dropped
forty three points on you, and you wonder why you're
going back to the garden.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
We up against the break.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
But I will add this to the conversation, and you
guys just quickly tell me what you think as it
applies to Brunton. Game four, they outpaced the next and
Bruntson wore down. He wore down, try they wore down
trying to keep up with them with the Pacers, and
how quickly they were transitioning into the other side of

(13:00):
the court, and and when it came down to it
at the end of the game, if y'all remember, the
game was on the line and the Knicks could have
could have pulled up, pulled ahead and made it a
game and maybe even took the game. And Brunton was
too tired. He was missing like some really really big
shots that he wouldn't have.

Speaker 2 (13:18):
Missed if he wasn't if he wasn't so tired. So
coming back in the next game.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Hearing you talk about how they they subbed and how
they gave bruntsing the time to be able to get
that rest, it made the difference. So if Indiana allows
for the New York Knicks to actually give bruntson that
rest where he can have that that's you know, that
burst that he has and that ability to score and
get to the rim the way that he does and
create those openings and those lanes and those shooting, the

(13:44):
clear shooting for the other guys later in the game.
They're going to lose to They're going to lose to
the Knicks, and it's going to go back. They have
to pace him out. Yes you agree, No, no, agree
with how you feel about that?

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Just super quick, yeah, quick, quick, quick point shout out
to Delon Wright and Landry Shammit because they provided a
spark off the bench, and you know, role players don't
really play good on the road tonight. They're gonna have
to do the same thing they did in the garden.
They're gonna have to give the Knicks that that that
spark off the bench because, like you said, runs and
he's gonna be gassed in the fourth quarter if he

(14:18):
has to play forty five for forty six minutes or so.
So look at Delon Wright and Landry Shaman tonight. They're
gonna have to come up big for New York to
extend this series.

Speaker 5 (14:29):
There you go, that's cups the legend right there. You
got Plex, Koe Burds, you got t J. Huschman's Eider
dang Plex be getting excited about basketball. Man, it's almost
like to do like like he like actually used to
be all right, yeah, like six nine or something like that.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
He built like a Hooper. I don't know. I don't
like that stuff.

Speaker 8 (14:48):
I don't like Hooper built football players. I'm from the
I'm from the state of the best Hoopers.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
To else from the water, you're from the.

Speaker 6 (14:58):
Against them all, seeing.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Them all is from the tide. He is from the Tide.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
And you know what, We are up on game, and
we're gonna take a quick break and we're gonna continue
the conversation on the other side of the break.

Speaker 2 (15:07):

(16:07):
and maybe we'll even talk about some WNBA cause you know,
Cuffs and Plex they love w that what I mean,
and TJ because TJ thinks that w.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
NBA players can beat high school elite basketball tease.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
Anyway, let's get Isaac Low and Crawn on an update
and a trending so we could get back into the conversations.

Speaker 7 (16:25):
But first the floor is yours, my sir, and what's
trending the world at large. Continuing to not believe the
TJ refuses to have coffee, just still can't get you know,
it's like literally the best legal performance enhancing substance like
there is.

Speaker 9 (16:43):
I'll leave it at that, and really, I love My
train of thought though back in the day was if
I'm gonna get some coffee to pick me up, I'm
gonna just eat some candy.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Right That was my thing is a candy monster.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
Not as much anymore. Man. I went to the doctor.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Man.

Speaker 9 (16:56):
Doctor told me, Man, I had to lay off that
refined sugar man at ice cream and candy man out.

Speaker 10 (17:02):
Man, it's killing me. I can't not anymore.

Speaker 8 (17:06):
I love the way you candy, hey, hey, man, be
a change had been little bit.

Speaker 7 (17:17):
We applaud, we applaud your willpower as overcaffeinated as the
rest of us. Might be interesting development in Major League
Baseball today because a short time ago, Houston Asher's general
manager Dana Brown told reporters that designated hitter at your
Don Alvarez's return to action has been delayed after imaging
yesterday revealed a small fracture in his right hand that

(17:40):
is sixty percent healed. Alvarez has been out since May
second due to a right hand strain. Brown says that
Albarez will return in the near future because of the
progress of the previously undiscovered fracture.

Speaker 11 (17:54):
In his hand has had in healing.

Speaker 7 (17:56):
On Friday night, at a World Series rematch, the Los
Angeles Dodgers to the New York Yankees eight to five.
In the top of the first hitting Aaron Judge hit
his nineteenth home run of the season, but then on
the bottom of the first hitting show hey O Todi
hit his twenty first home run of the season, and
at the sixth inning he homered again. He now is
twenty two to lead the majors. Meanwhile, Mookie Bets of
the Dodgers out for at least this weekend series after

(18:17):
injuring a toe on his left foot in an off
the field mishap. Bets not expected to need to go
on the injured list. Mike Trout returned to the Angels lineup,
going one for five and a four to one win
in Cleveland on Friday after missing twenty six games due
to a bone bruise on his left knee, and tonight
at eight pm Eastern, it's game six of the NBA's
Eastern Conference Finals from Indianapolis, with the Pacers leading the

(18:39):
Knicks three games to two.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Guys, back to you, thanks, Ilo, appreciate it. Enjoy the day,
enjoy the weekend. You know, do what you do best,
and that's be great.

Speaker 5 (18:49):
Man, Fellas, I gotta ask this one of you looking
at it from this game taking place tonight, it would
be more and I thought it would be. But but
y'all tell me, I thought it would be more advantageous
for in the in the in the West. For obviously

(19:09):
when when the series ended with Oka see and and
well when it ended with the Timberwolves, Okay, c needed
to get out of the series with Denver and not
give Minnesota too much rest time didn't seem to bother.
Didn't seem to bother, okay see going into that next
that next series, next round with.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
With the Timberwolves.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
These guys are sitting at home right now, okay see,
and they're watching. They get an opportunity to study what's
going on. They get a chance to get rested. And
how how vitally important if you're Indiana, because it doesn't
exist if you're in New York. They got to play
their way into getting into that final. But if it's Indiana,
how vital and how important is it for them to

(19:54):
get out of the game tonight so that they're not
continuing to a give them more film to look at
the OKC thunder and be giving them time to rest
because these are both two teams that play out a
very very high and very fast pace of basketball.

Speaker 6 (20:14):
Play go ahead cups, you got it now, you got it? No, no, no,
go ahead? You got it?

Speaker 3 (20:19):
Okay, LeVar, you you took the words out of my mouth.
Because the final start June fifth, right Thursday. The OKC
thundery they so well rested. They got eight to nine
days right now, they got they had enough time to
take a little mini vacation, you know, they go to
Turk and Kko, they can fly back and get ready
for these finals. I feel like it's very dangerous for

(20:40):
whoever comes out of the East because this team, the
OKC thunder they're the youngest team in the league already,
and on top of that, you're letting these young athletic
fresh legs get even more recovery time. And that's why
I feel like no matter who comes out of the East,
whether it's the Knicks, if they can pull through win
in Game seven and force a Game seven and win,

(21:02):
or the Pacers win tonight. I don't see the series
going further than five games, maybe six games, because they're
gonna have They're gonna have so much rest, They got
extra practice times outside of just the rest, They're gonna
be able to practice, install even more, even more sets,
even more film study, and I just feel like it's

(21:23):
really their time. I really feel that way. I feel
like it's really SGA's time and the Thunders time right now.

Speaker 10 (21:30):
To me, I feel like.

Speaker 9 (21:33):
The Knicks, or if the Knicks are to make it out,
which I don't believe they will, that lack of rest
is gonna hurt them. They don't play a lot of players.
As you see, Tips is now starting to go a
little deeper in the bench. You got guys that like
lambdry Shaman who hadn't been playing. Now you're playing them
a little bit. You're letting right play a little bit,

(21:54):
and so precious Chule who's been on the bench, now
you let him play a little bit. But to me,
the Knicks are the team that if they make it
the lack of rest, because he's relied so heavily upon
Jyalen Bronson, Cat, Josh Hart Bridges and that, and know
those are the guys that need the rest. The Pacers
play at such a fast pace and they're young. I

(22:18):
don't think it's gonna affect them. It's not gonna affect
them the turnaround regardless. I don't feel like it will
affect the Pacers. To me, it will affect the Knicks
more than anybody. But I don't believe the Knicks are
gonna win and get there anyway.

Speaker 8 (22:31):
You know what I Man, I've been listening to Cuffs
all year long, Man talking about okayc and that's Ga
and you know how good this young team was. And
me being here on the East coach, man, we really
don't get to see Oklahoma City and shaying those guys
playing on nightly basis. But the more and more I
watch them, just like Aunt said the other day, Man,

(22:52):
they're like puppa's on the string. And defensively they get
out and run on steals and turnover was but to me,
when Shade gets the when he has the basketball, they're
a half court basketball team.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
But they get up and down the.

Speaker 8 (23:08):
Floor on a fast break like he wouldn't believe but
when he has the ball, everything slows down. And those
other four guys offensively, you know, basically compliment his style
of play, but they.

Speaker 6 (23:23):
Can run with anybody.

Speaker 8 (23:25):
And me what having you know, having watched them over
the over the last few weeks, man, I just think
that if it doesn't matter if it's the Knicks or
the Indiana Pacers that get into the NBA finals.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
Uh okay, See, it's a bad matchup for.

Speaker 8 (23:40):
Everybody, both and everybody and New York, so it really
doesn't matter. But I think Indiana will close out the night.
But just from an OKC perspective, man, those young guys, man,
they really got something special and they they they they
let a young SG a this basketball team.

Speaker 6 (24:01):
All these guys like the same age. Man.

Speaker 8 (24:03):
Listen, it takes a lot professionally. I know LeVar and TJ.
We've been in locker rooms to you know, everybody is
pretty much considered equal. We're all the same age. But
they recognize that. They understand to let Shaye be the star.
And even though these guys are the same age and

(24:24):
some of these guys are older, like Harkenstein, give him
the floor, man, let him lead this basketball team, because
that's what's going to happen in the NBA Finals. I
didn't agree with a Cup weeks ago when he said
nobody was gonna be the OKCS thunder, but uh, I'm
a believer man, and it's a beautiful thing to watch.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
You know why nobody's gonna beat them? I say for
the next couple of years. I think they're gonna repeat
acting because they got all the asset draft capital. If
they follow SDA and he's a quiet leader. Sometimes I
think we get caught up in nostalgia of the Michael
Jo orders to Kobe Bryants, where you think a leader
is just like a demonstrative guy who makes all the

(25:06):
like serious faces in the huddle. But if you look
at SGA, I call them the Pink Panther, he's like this,
but the cartoons, if you watch the Pink Panther cartoon,
he's so smooth on the court, and he's quiet. He
don't say too much, but he lets his game talk.
And I think it's just amazing to see a young
core or young nucleus of guys who they remind me

(25:29):
of like an AAU team, like a really good AAU
team with great chemistry, and they just follow his lead.
It's no egos. And the main thing I want to
say about this team is they play agenda pre basketball.
So I feel like they're putting the whole entire NBA
on notice because we see a lot of teams have
all these different guys with you know, egos and who

(25:50):
should get the most shots, so who should be the
number one, number two options. It is clear that SGA
is the leader of that team and they're playing a
gender free basketball. It's not about who gets the most
shots and and and s g A. He loves to
see Jayling Williams J. Dove do his thing. He loves
to see Check Holgam get a double double agender free basketball.

(26:12):
And that's why I say there's such a joy to
watch because they are a complete unit. You got two,
you got two big men, you got a bruising big man.
You got an athletic stretch five in Check. They have
all the pieces. You got lou Dort He's second fight
in his body. You know he's he He did a
tremendous job on Anthony Edwards last series. Like this, this

(26:33):
is making it real tough on him to even get
the ball.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
So I love this team, man, and I love.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
The direction they're headed too. So hopefully we will see uh,
we will see some off season moves because I would
love to see the O. G. Westbrook come to the
come back to Oklahoma City.

Speaker 6 (26:49):
Man, they got a great man.

Speaker 8 (27:00):
And it takes me back to when we're talking about
uh one of these teams going against his OKC thunder
man being well arrested. It takes me back to two
when we go to Steve McNall. We go to Tennessee,
we played the Cleveland Browns in the wild card, we
going to overtime, we end up winning the game, and
then we got to travel to Tennessee for the divisional game.

(27:23):
And I remember vividly, Man, we are just being in
a huddle and like man, dog, they just freshen than
we all and you can feel the mass what the
freak thought they were a step faster than the world,
that they were freshening us, and that there was nothing
we could do about it but try to execute to

(27:44):
the best level. But being tired, man, and and and
and having that disadvantage of playing that extra game, and
these guys will get with eight, nine, ten days rest man,
nobody stands a chance coming out of the Eastern Conference.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
All right, but let God take it.

Speaker 3 (28:03):
Go ahead, God, one more, one more quick point about
the thunder. We talk about the offense a lot, but
their defensive rating is higher than the old seventh.

Speaker 6 (28:12):
They foil every pluck. They foul every possession.

Speaker 10 (28:14):
The reps just get tired of calling it.

Speaker 6 (28:17):
We go.

Speaker 8 (28:18):
It's a fact, though they be fouling. The gotta be
some what's the conference hate somewhere? That's why he laughing.
You know, conference though, But I like I like, I
like Oklahoma City.

Speaker 9 (28:32):
I like the way they play. But they foul every possession.
They grabbing you. They foil every possession. The refs like, okay,
we can't call or foul every possession down the court now.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
But maybe they might decide in the next round.

Speaker 6 (28:42):
That leads to my question.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Let me ask you.

Speaker 6 (28:45):
Let me la, Lakers don't have a chance for the
next decade.

Speaker 9 (28:50):
We got to make a trade if we If we
are making trade or get somebody in free agency, we'll
be all right.

Speaker 6 (28:54):
Why you just come out and say that, Why should
just come out and say that this ain't about the
Lakers so well as the conference. Yes, it was this
brother with yourself.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
Let me ask y'all this.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
What if OKAC loses to the eventual opponent that they play?

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Now?

Speaker 5 (29:11):
Is there is there a worse loss between the Pacers
and the Knicks for OKC?

Speaker 2 (29:16):
For one, do you think that this will be Because a.

Speaker 5 (29:18):
Lot of people are saying it's going to be a
dud of an NBA finals, People aren't going to really
tune in, They're not going to really watch.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Uh do you think people will watch? Do you think
people will be interested?

Speaker 1 (29:28):
And what?

Speaker 6 (29:29):
What is?

Speaker 5 (29:30):
What is the headline? What is the discussion if OKC
comes up short in the finals?

Speaker 6 (29:36):
I don't see that happening.

Speaker 10 (29:38):
I don't see it happening. Mhmm. If that was that's
the head would mean what it would be?

Speaker 2 (29:45):
You gotta have some type of a headline, handscratch.

Speaker 8 (29:49):
Something catastrophic would have to happen for them to lose.
A straight up series of versus the Knicks or Indiana.

Speaker 9 (29:56):
If Indiana won this won the championship, I wouldn't be shocked.
Indiana can play, they got they have a lot of
young young with ok they.

Speaker 10 (30:08):
Can't match with would okay the best player in that
series would be s g A Okay.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Close second.

Speaker 10 (30:18):
No, it's not a close second. It's not a close second.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
And it's not even a close second.

Speaker 6 (30:23):
No, it's not.

Speaker 10 (30:24):
And Haller Burton is really good, but it's not a
close second.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
It's a wide gap.

Speaker 10 (30:29):
It's like somebody running a ten flat and you're running
a ten five.

Speaker 8 (30:32):
Well, I don't think you really understand how good this
team is defensively. They're really good defensively.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
I get that.

Speaker 5 (30:41):
But you know what I saw that's really good about
this Indiana Pacers team is they can play up tempo
for an entire game.

Speaker 6 (30:50):
Sometimes.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
I know, I know that, But to me, if you
have two up tempo teams that have both teams have benches,
then that's a that's a I mean, it's maybe not
necessarily always the best people are in those type of matchups.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
And maybe they are. How would the NBA feel about
that cuff?

Speaker 9 (31:12):
So that's crazy Oklahoma City and the Indiana Pacers in
the finals.

Speaker 6 (31:17):
Have we Has there ever been a finals like this before?
Were two small market teams like this?

Speaker 3 (31:21):
I absolutely as a basketball fan, I love to see
this because we make like NBA fans get caught up
in like it's big market, small market stuff. And I
always laugh. I laugh at it because why does it matter.
We're gonna watch the games anyway if you really love
boops like that, So about.

Speaker 6 (31:39):
The people sports will the cash? Right?

Speaker 2 (31:44):
That's that's the point, right, is that the basketball marks
are going to do it. But it's not.

Speaker 5 (31:50):
It's not going to be a widely consumable product that
the NBA is putting out there, like that's just it's
just not going to be something that people are truly
interested in watching, and that in some ways that becomes
the biggest issue here is that people aren't going to
be interested.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
As good as this sounds like it's going to turn
out to be, people aren't going to be interested.

Speaker 8 (32:12):
This is more contriguing than than then than the big
market teams playing in the finals, because now you get
the opportunity to watch an SDJ and you know what,
say to yourself, well, why is this young man the
m v P.

Speaker 6 (32:27):
Now you get to see why he's the m v P.

Speaker 8 (32:29):
And now you get to see the rising of superstars
like you know, Jalen Brunson and Tyre's Haller Bruton.

Speaker 6 (32:37):
What makes Indiana pace is so good?

Speaker 8 (32:39):
That is the narrative for these small market teams moving forward,
and man if you're a pure basketball fan.

Speaker 6 (32:48):
You love this?

Speaker 9 (32:50):
Yeah, you love Thisah the basketball fan. True basketball fans
are gonna watch the rest. We're talking about the casual.
What the radians?

Speaker 8 (32:58):
Then?

Speaker 3 (33:00):
Can I ask you all this because y'all, y'all played
in the NFL. Y'all were great football players. Why is
it different?

Speaker 2 (33:06):
We got I got d one offers.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
Yeah, look you have you have the.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
Green Bay Packers.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
The Green Bay Packers are a small market team in
the NFL, but they're they have just as many nationally
televised games as anything.

Speaker 5 (33:19):
They're a juggernaut. They're a jugger in the tradition franchise.
They're like, what the most traditionally.

Speaker 10 (33:27):
Foundation franchise of the NFL.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah, you don't have the one of these. So you
don't have that with the Pacerslahoma.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
City Thunder, because Oklahoma City Thunder they are working themselves.
If they get this championship and get over the hump,
they can win the next couple of titles. And now
we're looking at the new San Antonio Spurs exactly.

Speaker 10 (33:52):
They can do what the Spurs did, but they it's
gonna take time.

Speaker 6 (33:55):
It's destination players.

Speaker 2 (33:59):
You can start somewhere.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
Sam Princey brought. He brought the blueprint from the Spurs organization.

Speaker 10 (34:06):
They got him in Oklahoma City. I don't care what
nobody say.

Speaker 6 (34:08):
They got him, got what we were front to.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
They got I mean, you could say both to be
honest or all yeah, I got out in Okay see
before too, by the way. And it's not a statement,
Oh it's not a it's not an understatement of they
got him.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
That's all I got, and I'm gonna leave it at that.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
In fact, I'm gonna leave this segment where it's at
because we got up on game, down on game and
I'm certain I had a bounce back.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
I'm certain that I crushed. Is that true?

Speaker 6 (34:40):
Bo?

Speaker 2 (34:40):
Is it true? Is it true? Back at my back?

Speaker 6 (34:43):
Bow?

Speaker 2 (34:44):
Bo at my back? Don't want to answer my back bow?
You don't want to answer me, bo am I back
at my back?

Speaker 5 (34:49):

it's time.

Speaker 6 (35:54):
For this time for some picks.

Speaker 1 (35:58):
Are you up on game bank, let's.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Break it up game.

Speaker 6 (36:04):
All right?

Speaker 5 (36:05):
Clearly Bo did not want to answer my question before
we went to the break, but you have to answer
you No.

Speaker 11 (36:11):
I I just had to double check the math here.
So cuffs went to and two, TJ went one and three,
plaques he went three and one, LaVar went four and
oh last week, come on.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
Talk to him. Say one more time? Hey, both say
one more time? LaVar went four and oh last week
domination baby.

Speaker 5 (36:35):
Ain't no plagiarizing needed here, Ain't no ghost writing material
needed here.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
Ain't none of that stuff needed here. I do this thing.
You listen to your boy, listen to your pot.

Speaker 11 (36:50):
Okay, we're gonna We're gonna run through real quick here.
We're gonna start with the game that everybody's waiting for Wednesday,
Game one of the Stanley Cup Finals. The Panthers hag
on the Oilers. Edmund is a one and a half
goal favorite here. The over under is six and a
half goals.

Speaker 5 (37:06):
Oh, I'm taking the under on that. It's it's gonna
be a big time game. It's gonna be physical. They're
gonna be trying to protect the crease or protect the ice.
It's gonna be a lot of movement. I'm going with
the under on this one. And once we get out
of that that that you know, filling out process, and
we'll see where we go from there. But I'm certainly
taking the under on this one with Edminson being the

(37:28):
team that I think wins the game.

Speaker 9 (37:29):
By the way, man I'm gonna take badminton Oilers and
I'll take the under on the man. And you know what,
these hockey games have been high scoring, man, I've been
seeing the highlights. Man, I'm gonna just go over because
levard went under.

Speaker 6 (37:42):
Man.

Speaker 8 (37:42):
I'm taking the oval, man. I'm taking the Florida Panthers.
Man down in Florida, So I'm going with the Florida Panthers.
They're the five seeds, so four three Panthers versus the Oilers,
So I'm taking the Oilers. I'm about the Panthers.

Speaker 4 (38:01):
I'm gonna take the Panthers too, because they're they're building
a dynasty down there.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
And they're taking over the quartera hockey.

Speaker 4 (38:08):
I'm gonna take the under, though I think it's gonna
be a low scoring game. Or take the under in
the Florida Panthers.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
All right, next, it's safe and that's a good thing.
Go ahead.

Speaker 11 (38:15):
Tonight's Tonight's Game six between the Knicks and the Pacers.
Indiana a three and a half point favorite at home.
The total currently said it two twenty one and a half.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
Two twenty one. Listen, I'll go.

Speaker 9 (38:27):
The Indiana Pacers scored forty one points in the first
half last game, they had forty three points in the
first quarter.

Speaker 6 (38:34):
In Game four, they bounce back. They will be in
the NBA Finals.

Speaker 10 (38:40):
I am taking the Indiana Pacers and the over.

Speaker 8 (38:43):
Hey, I'm taking under the points. I think uh Indiana
Paces is a lot of pressure on them. I think
they get it going the second in the second half.
So I'm taking the under on the points and I'm
taking the Paces.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
So the Cupps, I'm gonna take the over. I think
the Knicks want to run out of cat dead leg
and their papers are going through the finals. They're gonna
run the Nick out of the gam and event of
the NBA thinking it.

Speaker 5 (39:07):
Over, I'm gonna take the over as well, and I
believe Indiana is gonna cover on the points.

Speaker 6 (39:13):
So there you go.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
I'm going to win because all good stuff on hockey
pick so like it's it's all good.

Speaker 5 (39:20):
It's domination baby four and O. And you know what,
we got Jonas Knox coming up next. So make sure
you stay tuned in for all of us to you,
Thanks for tuning in, thanks for listening.
