This is up on KIG.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Third Law draw with LeVar aring Ten as a defensive guy. TJ.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Hushman Zanna.

Speaker 4 (00:18):
I'm just bringing the viewers into how grown men in
the locker room, like I don't play with some dude
that you disrespect them anyway, it didn't matter who it
was they was putting hands on you.

Speaker 5 (00:28):
And Blaxico Burres, they are the same person, the same
exact quarterback.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
It's a show with three of the best to ever
do it on and off the field. And line from
the Fox Sports Radio studios. Here's pro bowlers LeVar aring Te, TJ.
Hushman Zanna, and Silver Bowl champion Blaxico Burres.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Well, all right, welcome into the Welcome into the show.

Speaker 6 (01:00):
It is our two. This is up on Game. It
is Plexico Burst and t J. Huschman Zada. I am
LeVar Arrington. We will be carrying you for another hour
as you guys continue to enjoy this big weekend, big
day of college football taking place.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Obviously, if you.

Speaker 6 (01:20):
Missed anything in the first hour, we talked Michael Parsons,
We talked Dallas. We probably talked more Dallas and more
Jerry Jones than we did anything else. But if you
missed any of that, just check out the podcast. Wherever
it is you get your podcasts from, just search for
up on game Fellas. All right, let's jump right into it.
It's a it's a full slate of Saturday games. And

(01:45):
you know, obviously with the College Playoff expanding, being as
exciting as it has become, and the rich getting richer,
the big Power fives are you know, doing what it
well was now for fours right now? Yeah, well, power
fives anyways, seeing how the power too is really what

(02:08):
I want to say out of my mouth. But there
you're seeing a clashing of the SEC and the Big Ten.
I feel like there's much more at stake than just
a number one and number two or number one number
three ranked team in this Texas Ohio State game. It
feels like there's bigger implications. I mean, you saw on Netflix,

(02:33):
SEC put out a you know, put out a show
that almost was basically an infomercial for trying to make
the case that the SEC is the greatest and best
conference in all of football. You know, the Big Ten.
They have very very highly high rated teams again coming

(02:55):
into the season. I mean, what's your guys' take on
what's at steak? How do you feel about this season?
I mean, just you know, all of it. I just
feel like this game today, there's a lot of bragging
rights at play in Ohio State isn't just playing for
Ohio State. They're playing for the Big Ten today. Texas
isn't just playing for Texas. They're playing for the SEC today.

(03:18):
How you guys see it?

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Man, Honestly, whoever loses this game is not gonna matter.
Both teams breaking in new quarterbacks and so I'm sure
you know, first game Jitters, first time starting Jitters, that
that's normal. Ohio State's breaking the new defensive coordinator in
Matt Patricia, and so Texas entire offensive line different. Although

(03:46):
they are two of the best, two of the best
programs in the country. It's just a game, and it
can be bragging rights. But at the end of the day,
the team that may lose this game, you could say,
they may go on to win ASTRA Championship. And so
I'm not gonna put too much stock in it. Yes,
is it bragging rights, Yes, it will be bragging rights,

(04:07):
But I don't believe you can say, oh, the winner
at this game is a much better team. Right now,
in the first half, nobody can really get anything going
on offense unless the referees give you a first down
for a penalty. And so when Texas just got called
for two penalties, the given that gave Ohio State automatic

(04:31):
first downs. Without that, they would have punted the ball.
Literally a defensive struggle, and so the refs now have
given these penalties and it's like, oh, now we're getting
something going on offense. But it's a defensive struggle. And
you would expect that when you got two young quarterbacks
making their first start in this type of environment, with.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
These type of stakes. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Man, it's a lot of great storylines. You know, open
up this open up this year. I really believe that
my guy Fran Brown up into Syracuse. Man, he's really
turning this program around. And you know, obviously we lost
our quarter we lost Steve Anngelly from Notre Dame. He
transfers to Syracuse, so now they have a veteran quarterback.

(05:17):
That's a program that's on the rude. I think Fran
is doing a great job of there and I just
I gotta say, I gotta be real. A lot of
people are saying that Penn State is not the number
two team in the country.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I just that's what That's what everybody's saying.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
But they get a chance to prove themselves just like
everybody else playing playing playing Nevada today and we're going
to see if you're boy Nevada. Jane Franklin can get
past the Michigans and Ohio State so he can get
to a national championship football game. Is Alabama as Alabama

(05:56):
backup on the rise from the Alabama that they were
years ago playing at Florida State Camp. Florida State rebound
from last year. They went two and ten in twenty
twenty and last season two years ago they were twelve
and no one couldn't get into a bowl game. So
I guess they kind of proved everybody right. And lsu
is Clipson. Can Clipson get back to who they used

(06:17):
to be? I'm excited to see my young man, Braden Jacob.
He's going to be starting to left tackle as a
truth freshman and they Brandon Jacob's son, so excited about that.
And New Mexico was playing the other guys down the
street not be gonna say their name. But yeah, man,
a lot of great storylines.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
And I think.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
Tomorrow night, this Notre Dame and Miami Hurricane game, which
I'm going to be at, I think it's going to
be a total like an electric atmosphere, especially you know,
for these kids that haven't had the opportunity to play
major college football for the first game. I'm really looking

(06:57):
forward to the storylines of that game.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
So, yeah, you.

Speaker 6 (07:04):
Made a very pointed and firm admission that Penn State
isn't I didn't say it was.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
As they should.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
I've just been everybody's been saying that Penn State is
ranked too high and they are not the number two
team in the country. And I expect some blowback from you.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
I know you.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
You know, my brother, You're going to Defensetick City under
any circumstance.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Hey, I get it.

Speaker 6 (07:33):
Thirty locations with Stick City, understand.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Hey listen, let me ask that though, LaVar.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
I'm just telling you every year it's the same thing
with Penn State. They win a game to be able
to get Michigan, and you gotta be able to beat
the Ohio State.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
That's what it is.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
What I'm getting at here is if that's what everybody
is saying.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
It's the facts.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
You do not You cannot win the Big Ten East
if you can't beat Michigan and Ohio State.

Speaker 6 (08:07):
And you know this year we got to order and
you know that, Hey, I gotta ask you this.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
I've got to start throwing the ball, Plexico to somebody
beside the tight end. That's true. We don't don't have
game when they do pass it. It was strictly to
the tight end last year, Tyler Warren.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
That is correct, down that was that was our shortcoming
last year. And we almost beat Notre Dame without completing
passes to receivers. And which is leading me to the
point that I'm trying to get to with you, Plexico
Births and and TJ. You are more than welcome uh
to weigh in on this.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
You know, you do know Penn State actually beats the
teams they're supposed to beat, but Notre Dame doesn't always
beat the teams they're uh and last year they proved
that by losing to a team I would if you
told me today, I could save my life, my kids life,
y'all's lives by telling the name of the team that

(09:10):
Notre Dame lost to early in the year. Last year,
I would I would lose, y'all, because I wouldn't have
the right answer. I wouldn't know or remember what the
name of the school was because they're just not a
memorable school.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
Okay, So, but who was the last team that Notre
Dame be the national.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
And that that, yes, you were, and that was part.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
Of I was yes, yes, because I wanted you to
have that moment.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
I was with you.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
Yes, I understand that y'all batball team, y'all were a
better football team.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
It's okay, they listen.

Speaker 6 (09:48):
They bounced back and they made it to the national title.
What are your expectations for their game versus Miami, Because
I feel like a lot of those same people, out
of all those people that said Pitt State should be
raked aside, a lot of them think that Miami might
be able to come out and and and uh deal

(10:10):
dell Notre Dame a loss early on in this season.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
Man, I think it's one of these games. I told
my son, said, listen, this is one of these games
where keep your head on a swivel. And a lot
of a lot of things have but slander has been
going around teams calling each other name different things like that.
But but I think C. J. Carr is unproven. We
don't know who he is as a quarterback, so I

(10:35):
think they're going to lean them office line. You probably
have the best running back in all the football in
Jeremiah Love. That's true, and so that could be debatable.
We got you here in State college.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
See there we go. You can't you can't even finish
a sentence with you. Okay, I'm sorry, go ahead.

Speaker 5 (10:50):
So I think Notre Dame is going to come out
and they're going to try to establish the run game,
and I want to see how Miami reacts, uh, trying
to stop the run. Are they physical enough to stop
these hogs up front? I think they're averaging what six six, six, seven,
three point thirty? Can they stop the run? And I

(11:11):
believe they get the run game going. Obviously some play actions,
the different things are going to go in. But I
think defensively, Not the Dame is superb defensively and can can.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Carson?

Speaker 5 (11:26):
Can he get back to who he was at Georgia.
He's healthy for the first time in a long time,
so everybody wants to see him return to that national
championship form, and can Carson back go out and lead
this defense against a great secondary and a great defensive front.
I think that that's gonna be the storylines for the

(11:48):
football game tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
All right.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
I guess we'll see how that all plays out. I mean,
if it's a lost, I mean TJ saying it isn't
a big deal. If Texas or Ohio State is just today,
I mean.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
It's not got us both teams getting to playoff regardless.

Speaker 6 (12:04):
Okay, if there's a win or a loss between Notre
Dame and Miami, does that impact one team more than
the other.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
Or if Miami beats No. To Dame tomorrow it affects Miami.
It affects not to the Dame more than the will the
Hurricanes because nobody really expects them to go in and
win this game tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Anyway. Oh wow, you agree with that, TJ. Ether or
not naturally run to a certain degree, Yeah, I do.
I do.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Listen you, there's always every year, not a lot of
times in college football, but teams kind of come out
of nowhere, Teams you thought were gonna be really good,
and you like what happened to them.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
That that's that's sports.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
Rarely happens in college football because we know the top
teams because they get the top players every single year,
and so it doesn't happen often, but it does happen
at times where you are surprised in surprise both ways,
like wow, like Texas preseason number one.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
If Texas goes on.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
To lose three games, we'd be like, what the hell
happened in Texas? Well, maybe they just weren't as good
as everybody thought. But when you're preseason number one, you're like, wait,
there's no way you should lose three games. Not saying
that's gonna happen. That's just for an example, because they're
a preseason number one ranked team.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
All Right, we're gonna take a quick break. Here's what
we're gonna do.

Speaker 6 (13:36):
Deon Sanders, he's making headlines. He lost his first game
to Georgia Tech. Colorado took an l on the post
Travis Hunter Shador Sanders era of time. But I don't
think they're the biggest headline. I think the biggest headline
is you had some guys enter their hats into the

(13:58):
ring and take the same approach that one Dion Sanders
took in the coaching profession. And Mike Vick And well, yeah, mister, Uh,
why am I blanking on Sean Jackson? There we go,
Deshaun Jackson DJ at Dell State DJ. I don't know
why I blanked out on him just now. Anyway, Uh,

(14:19):
both of them entered their hats. They're at HBCUs and
started their campaigns yesterday. We're going to talk about that
on the other side of this break. You're listening to

Fellas.

Speaker 6 (18:44):
As I teased going into the break, Deon Sanders had
a rough go of it last evening, maybe even criticized
a little bit for some clock, you know, game management
issues down the stretch. But it was a close game,
none the less that they lost to the Georgia Tech

(19:05):
yellow Jackets. But I felt like it was interesting to
have the conversation. I think we get to a point
where we look at Dion and we've seen what he's accomplished,
and so many times I feel like people maybe don't
have a healthy respect or a healthy admiration for what

(19:26):
one has to accomplish, what they have to do to
even put themselves in a position to be leading a
program as large as Colorado and bringing as large a
program as Colorado back from the blink and not being
able to win games to being a team that was
relevant and had a Heisman Trophy winner last season. Those

(19:49):
two are gone. Shador's gone, Travis Hunter's gone. Dion remains.
He plays the game. They lose a game, but it
was more interesting to me to look at the person.
We get our first game our first look at the
teams that.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Michael Vick and DeShawn Jackson took over.

Speaker 6 (20:09):
And while I'll say DeShawn had probably the harder game
thousand if you know about football, thousand played. They played
football their hard nos football team. They played really good football,
and Mike Vick and his team took on the thousand Tigers.
They lost twenty seven to seven, which was that's a thumping.

(20:32):
DeShawn Jackson's team lost thirty five to seventeen to Delaware.
I don't know how much of the games you guys saw.
I saw a lot of both of them. There was
a bad call against Dale State. They had a running
back get lose, he scores a touchdown, They called a
game back.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
The game was zero zero at the time.

Speaker 6 (20:51):
I do believe, I know it gave Dale State the
lead and could have gave them some much needed momentum
in the game.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
It gets called back.

Speaker 6 (21:00):
I ain't gonna get into no conspiracy theories about anything
like that, but nonetheless, it was not a great debut
for Vic or for Jackson. What do you guys see
for them? You know, what type of season? Like how
much times? What's feasible? Like everybody can't do it exactly

(21:20):
the way Dion Sanders did it.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
You know, I had an opportunity to watch both games. Obviously,
Michael Vick, he's coaching. I was born in Norfolk, so
you know, I have a really good relationship with everybody
there and him being on the ground and taking over
that program, and also d Jack down the street at
Delaware State they lose to the Delaware Blue Hens or

(21:43):
thirty five seventeen, the home of Joe.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
Flacko and Mike Adams Arrington.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
Yeah, Keno Arrington, there you go. And I have to
say you this man being a coach is not a player.
And I think that we're talking about three of some
of the greatest athletes that we have ever witness on
the football field, obviously Mike Vick, Deon Sanders and d Jack.

(22:12):
We're talking about three really special, gifted athletes.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
And I think for the.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
First time that they are they are they are realizing
how hard it is to coach talent to where you
know where they are. And I think that's the toughest
thing about coaching, is that you know everybody is not
coach the same and it's it's it's so difficult from

(22:39):
a player who was so great to be able to
stand on the sideline and try to make adjustments and
try to get your players in the right position to
make plays. But they're not you because you see the
game differently. And I think that's why coaching is so
paramount to these young men because now you understand and

(23:00):
from a player, from a coaching perspective, you're looking at
a guy trying to develop him. You didn't have to
develop a Mike Vick. You didn't have to develop a
d Shaun Jackson, didn't have to develop a Deon SAMs
because they were already great athletes. And I think that's
what they're learning, that's what they're going through. And you

(23:21):
can stand on the sideline with that and with the
microphone on and your headphones, and you have a very
detailed plan of how you want to coach your game,
but it's not it's not easy at all.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
And the game came easy to them, so.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
They can just walk on the football and say, you know,
go out there and do this, but they're going through
curves as coaches of having to instruct and teach these
young men the game of football. Always say, you know,
my career and me being able to play twelve years.
I was aver coach. I was taught how to play

(23:59):
the game of football. I understood the ins and outs
and the detail of what the game is about. So
I think as they get older, Mike Vick and Dshaun
Jackson and Prime, they will get it more into the
detail of football with these young men because the game

(24:19):
came easier to them. So I think that's where it's
going to be. And you know, Mike Victor, he had
a couple of plays the other day where h third
and short. You know, mister pass got stopped in the backfield.
Those are game changing plays and he talked about it
and he understands that he knows how big those possessions were.

(24:41):
And for Prime, you know, if he has a cadence
after he has a brand new quarterback, everybody coaches differently.
I would have called the time out when like thirty
seconds left to let that young man get herself together, regroup,
get a play in so he can go out and
kind of, you know, compose himself and calm down and
get the office on control. But it's coaching. You go

(25:02):
with your gut as a player and you're going to
coach the way that you played. But you can't coach
the way that you played because everybody's nobody's a Michael
Vick and nobody's a Deon Sanders. So I think that's
what these guys are realizing moving forward. But I think
from a timeframe, who knows, but I think that these

(25:26):
young teams will get better with d jack and Mike
vic coaching them.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
You know, down strep Man, Listen, it's an uphill battle.

Speaker 4 (25:33):
Norfolk State was four and eight last year, Delaware State
was one and eleven. You fighting uphill and there's just
no other way you can say they aren't. It's an
uphill battle. It's two teams, Norfolk State with Mike Vick
Delaware State with DeShawn Jackson. They want to combine five

(25:55):
games total out of twenty three. So there's just so
much that goes into just winning the game. And now
you got to change the mindset of the players, the culture.
You got to bring in better players. That's not gonna
happen in a year. It's gonna take some time. One

(26:18):
will they be afforded at the time too? Do they
want to be afforded at the time, because you're dealing
with guys that's not used to losing, and from the
looks of it, you're gonna lose a lot more than
you win. And so it's tough when you at all
these kids that are coming out of high school. They
want to be playing right now on Fox. They want

(26:41):
everybody to watch them. So it's gonna be really hard
to get the top kids to go to your school.
And if you're not getting the top kids, are you
gonna be in it for the long haul where you
got to do a plexit? You gotta develop guys. You
got to get guys that you see have potential to
be at her But that's gonna take a year or
two down the road. Are you gonna have the patience

(27:05):
to do that? And or are those kids willing to
come to your school? I mean, I'm watching this Texas
game right now. They don't hype arch Manning up to
be the first pick. Arch Manon is five saying with
twenty five yards and it's almost half time, not doing
nothing he got he has twenty five yards passing in

(27:25):
a high level college football game in the first half.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
His receivers are pissed.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
Twenty five yards That ain't gonna get you to the
highest And they were talking about him as the first pick.
The highusband twenty five yards them. They gets you to
the highs, the high way that gets you to the
good dods Man.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
So that's what I'm saying, like, it's such a process.
And with Dion you got new quarterback, new receivers. It's
a different They have three turnovers in the first half,
Georgia Tech did and Colorado only scored seven points. I
mean three turnovers in the first quarter. Let me say

(28:07):
Colorado only scored seven points out of that. To me,
you don't capitalize on that. You let him hang around.
And then they let Haines King just he was out
there looking like Michael Vicker Lamar Jackson in college. He
was just running around like it was just child's play
out there. And so they got work to do. Obviously,
they know we root for him, but Prime his established

(28:29):
a culture. He's gonna be fine. We just got to
wait to see if Mike Vic and Deshine and d
Jack can they get to that point of what Prime is.
Prime been at this for a long time. He was
coaching in high school. He was a head coach there,
he was at Jackson State. Neither one of these dudes
were doing what Prime was doing at the high school
level at Jackson. They just went straight into it. Wish

(28:53):
them none but the best and for what is worth.

Speaker 6 (28:55):
I mean, there are success stories in terms of great
players that that have gone back. I mean Eddie George
did get a big win. He did go through the
same type of process Prime did. Started at a smaller
HBCU has now taken over Bowling Green. He got a
big dub yesterday. I think it's really all about process.
You know, I've been a head coach, I've been an

(29:17):
assistant coach on the sideline with both of you guys,
and I just always felt like the communication with the
players that you guys are talking about, the connecting with
the players, that's a major piece of it, because I
really truly believe just teaching basic fundamentals is great to

(29:40):
get kids to be able to be where they need
to be to execute and win in a game plan.
But getting them to believe in you and getting them
to believe in themselves and into their teammates is a
much larger charge, and it's a much larger challenge when
entering into the coaching coaching field because there's so many

(30:02):
different things that got that play a part in being
an effective teacher as well as an effective coach. So
it's interesting because process, if you have the process, because
you're always fighting times as a coach, like that's the
one thing you never have enough of. You get into

(30:24):
a meeting, you don't have enough time, You get on
the practice field, you don't have enough time, right, and
so then next thing you know, you're in games and
then you're in real game situations. And these young men
are expected to be able to adapt and to adjust
to what they're seeing at at full speed, full level,

(30:45):
and sometimes it doesn't pan out the way that you
had actually envisioned it and the way that the player
had had prepared for it. So there's so many moving
parts to it that you just have to be a
flexible person. But you got to have a great process,
because I feel like great process you know when when
talent balances out talent and it's just straight up who's

(31:09):
going to win between talented teams like we're watching with
this Texas Ohio State game, or even in the cases
where you know we've seen you know, teams like you
know Dion's when he was at Jackson.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
State or last year with his Colorado team.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
Sometimes talent can take over and and really really show
you what it is.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
I mean, you look at Boise State.

Speaker 6 (31:30):
I mean, now you really know how good Ashton Genty was.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
Right. Ain't that crazy? You know you?

Speaker 6 (31:37):
I mean we could say, like, okay, he's a running back,
but now you can see the impact of how one
dominant player can impact an.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
Entire football team.

Speaker 6 (31:48):
So it'll be interesting to see how it all plays
out with them.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
I wish them the best. Let's get an update.

Speaker 6 (31:55):
Yeah, let's get an update, and let's see what Ilo
has for us on the updates side, and then we'll
finish out this show pretty strong.

Speaker 3 (32:02):
What'd you got a low LaVar?

Speaker 8 (32:04):
They've just gone to halftime at the Horseshoe with number
one Texas taking on number three Ohio State and the
Buckeyes up seven to nothing at halftime. And here it
is the only touchdown so far, courtesy of Paul Keel's
on radio station WBNFS.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Fourth and goal.

Speaker 9 (32:22):
Well, the ball inside the Texas too handoff goes to Donaldson,
nice sending the end zone for a touchdown. See Jay
Donaldson followed his blockers he takes it into the end
zone for his first touchdown as a Buckeye, his twenty
fourth in his collegiate career, and Ohio State on the
board first.

Speaker 8 (32:38):
That came with eight fifty seven left in the second quarter. Again,
it's number three Ohio State leading top ranked Texas at
halftime seven to nothing. In the first half, Texas had
seventy nine yards of total offense and was one for
seven on third downs. They had sixteen runs and ten
passes quarterback arch Manning, as you mentioned five of ten

(32:59):
for twe twenty six yards and for reasonable and measured
halftime analysis, what better place to look than the Texas
message boards on the internet courtesy of the social media
site message board geniuses. Guys at digging' man four twenty.
By the way, I'm digging that username posting quotes defense

(33:23):
is wearing down.

Speaker 1 (33:24):
Arch is friggin' horrible.

Speaker 8 (33:26):
Obviously, the polls are very wrong and with four penalties
of being called against Texas in the first half to
none on Ohio State at bevo is drunk commented quote,
We've never had the privilege of allowing the reps to
continue drives. Glad other programs can enjoy that luxury. And finally,

(33:47):
sec Mike adding arch Manning has had more commercials than
pass completions in the first half. Yikesyeah, I know elsewhere
Number twenty four Tennessee out to a twenty four to
seven lead over Syracuse four to twenty left to play
in the second quarter. It's some big plays for the

(34:07):
volunteers in this game. Colton Hood returned to Syracuse fumble
twenty two yards for a touchdown, and Joey Aguilar with
a seventy three yard touchdown pass to Brayln Staley. In
the National Football League, the Dallas Cowboys announced a short
time ago that former linebacker lee Roy Jordan has passed
away at the age of eighty four. One of the
anchors of the fabled Doomsday Defense, Jordan was a five

(34:30):
time Pro bowler and won a Super Bowl with the
Cowboys in nineteen seventy one. And in Major League Baseball,
the Atlanta Braves announced today that they've reinstated National League
Say Young Award winner Chris Saale from the sixty day
injured Litz guys back to.

Speaker 3 (34:43):

dim Sorry quick refresher.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
The guys are gonna pick three games against the spread
and the total over under. We're going to start with
number nine LSU taking on number four Clemson today a
Clemson is a four and a half point favorite, and
the current total is set at fifty six and a half.
In the LeVar will start with.

Speaker 3 (38:50):
You at fifty and a half.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
Fifty six and a half.

Speaker 6 (38:55):
Yeah, they're gonna cut They're going. I'm gonna take the
over on that, and I do believe who Clemson's favorite to.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Win four and a half.

Speaker 6 (39:04):
LSU is going to win this game. So I guess what,
I'm taking the points on this, guys. Clemson is not
going to win. LSU is going to win. Money line
that how do you want?

Speaker 3 (39:18):
How you already you already took l s U on
the point. You don't have the money line?

Speaker 4 (39:22):
Okay, this this sucks because I do not want to
agree with him, and I'm mad. I wanted him to
go the other way. But I'm taking I'm gonna take
the LSU Tigers. I'm not so sure though, because Clemson's
receiving corps might be the best receiving core in college football.
When Antonio Williams, Brian West, going, TJ Moore, them three

(39:43):
dudes can flat out though, with Kay Klutman coming back,
but new Smyer, Chris Hilton and them boys at l
s U, it's gonna be a battle.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
But I'm gonna take the L. S U. Tigers and
I'll take the Overallso.

Speaker 5 (39:54):
Oh, you know what, man, I'm going against both of
these level heads. I'm taking the under on the point
and taking my man Dabbo Swingey to get his clips
and Tiger program back on the maplan back on the road,
and I'm taking clips in with the wine.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
All right, next, Firk the by the time we were
on on the air. Next week, we are going to
have two NFL games in the book. We're gonna start
with the first one, the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia
Eagles hosting the Micah Parsons the Stallas Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (40:29):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
The Eagles favored by seven and a half in this game.
The total is forty seven and a half. And TJ
will start with you.

Speaker 4 (40:36):
I'm gonna take the Eagles and I'm gonna take the
underd I'm gonna take the Eagles by ass whipping.

Speaker 5 (40:44):
Oh man, listen, I'm taking I'm taking the over on
the points. It's going to be an electric evening. They're
gonna be raising a batter in Philadelphi. You the the
atmosphere is going to be incredible. I played in one
of those games Thursday night, they bring out the trophy,
they bring out the ring. I'm taking the Eagles by

(41:04):
two touchdowns with the Badas Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
Micah Less, No, Michael Parsons.

Speaker 6 (41:13):
Ah man, yeah, call them the snagger two Cowboys. Now,
they ain't never seen no line with no teeth be
able to take down big game out there in the wild.

Speaker 3 (41:25):
They gonna die in the Serengeti in this one.

Speaker 6 (41:27):
I'm going with the Eagles as well, and I'm taking
the under on the points. There will be defense, it
just won't be from the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (41:35):
All right. And then following that game on Friday, we
have the NFL in Brazil again, the Kansas City Chiefs
take on the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs a three
and a half point favorite, and the total is it
forty four and a half and plaques will start with
you here.

Speaker 5 (41:50):
Oh man, Patrick Mahomes is back. I'm going over on
the points. They probably have one of the most explosive
wide receiver groups in all of football. She's right's back
and Worth is in his second year. My man just
got down on the knee and said he want to
go on a ride.

Speaker 3 (42:08):
With Taylor Swift.

Speaker 5 (42:10):
So I'm taking the Chiefs Special Homes over on the points.

Speaker 4 (42:15):
And w Well, Rashie Rice will not be playing because
he suspended, So that's that's that's one.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
Of those guys that go out there.

Speaker 4 (42:23):
Yeah, so I'm taking I'm gonna go under the points
early in the season. It's always a defensive battle, but
I'm a surprise, y'all, and I'm gonna take the Los
Angeles Chargers to come out with the big tickets.

Speaker 6 (42:37):
I'm going with the Chargers, the winners, he loved me.
I think they're gonna control. Well, here's the thing. We're
we're in the next year of the Harball, the Harball regime.
I think they're going to really be able to establish
the run and I really believe Herbert is going to
bring some very nice throws to the table with this team.

Speaker 3 (42:59):
This may the new AFC West team, the Chargers. I'm
taking the Chargers.

Speaker 6 (43:06):
I'm taking the under on the points and that will
be my choice, and that is total domination. Appreciate you
guys listening to the show. Jonas Knox is coming up next.
Make sure you stay tuned in. Plexed t J.
