I'll throw this one out at y'all. I think a
team is all about pros and and Joe's and not
about x's and o's and listen. The one thing that
I thought what would be an advantage is influence the
wow factor of Tom Brady. There aren't very many guys

that will walk into a locker room or into a facility,
do you know, watch the practices, be a part of
what's going on, and people be in all of the person.

And if he were to say hello.

To you, have a quick conversation with you, just two minutes,
one minute of time with Tom Brady could actually influence
you to possibly wanting to go play for the Las
Vegas Raiders.

I look at it from that perspective of and why not?

I don't think it's to that point. Why not just
because Tom Brady is a mini state and the Los
Angeles rated as a player, you automatically want to go
play for him just because he's the owner, regardless of

I hope, I hope the guys around the league are
not doing that based off of his presence walking around
the locker room and the facilities and.

is that the NFL is really trying to put some
restrictions on him as far as going in these team
facilities attending practices because he has inside track the information.

Los Angeles Rakers the Raiders, but Las Vegas Raiders, and
being a color analyst. I get all that, But the
whole narrative of him being in the coaching booth or
the box during a football game, it shouldn't be allowed
because why would you not relay the information that you

have heard from a coach or a player and a
production meeting to your team. He's the owner of a team.
He wants to win.

It's just like you guys.

Know on Friday, the color analysts attend practice so they
see your first down, runs, passes, whatever the.

Case may be.

That's your script, Yes, your script.

That's your script going into the game, blitz pick up
red z one. You may have a fake punt or
a fake field goal, or your trick playing, whatever the
case may be. Why wouldn't he not relay some of
that information during a live broadcast going to a coaching
booth and say, you know what, I saw this play
on Friday. If they get into this, if they get

into this formation, this is what they're gonna do. He
should not be allowed in a coaching booth during a
live football game if he's a color analyst working the game, period,
point blank. I don't have a problem with him being
on them. But at the same time, you cannot go
in a coaching booth.

Give advice and listen to what's going on and have
input during a football game after you have interviewed the
coaches and the players and you have seen and heard
exactly what they're trying to do during that football game.

But it doesn't not fall on the coaches.

It's never gonna happen.

He's never gonna be calling the same game and then
the Raiders. No, I'm not saying that that had never opened,
but what you mean, he won't be like, they're not
going to have him call a game and the Raiders
are playing that same game, so he wants he's a
practice to relay that information.

He still has information for what he saw two or
three weeks ago versus a previous upon that.

Is going to the Raider.

I don't have a problem with him being allowed to
do all of these things. I don't have a problem
with that because if if the league is okay with it,
I'm okay with it. I'm just saying, we know he's
smart enough. We know that for a fact, and we
also know he wants his team, who now is the Raiders.
His team is the Raiders, right, he wants them to

be as successful as possible. You have lost your mind
if you think he's not gonna relay information.

The coaches shouldn't be in positioned where they have to

tell you why I believe, not necessarily. So we know

the meat and potatoes of our offense stays the same.
The base of our offense will stay the same. Yeah,

protections just by watching film. Now, if he's on the

that's different.

But I don't in practice.

Very rarely do you hear that when you're far off
the guys that are watching practice, they're not close enough
to hear the line calls and things of that nature.
So yeah, you can see what I'm doing, but you
can see that on film.

Man, he understands that this man is highly intelligent. Man,
he understands exactly what's going on and to what you
just said, to why you said it's not going to
go on. Imagine he calls, let's say, are charters in
a Broncos game? Right, He attends these pracnice he listens
to what the coaches and the players are saying about
their scheme and whatever they're trying to do to stop

Justin Herbert or whatever trying to do to stop vote Nick.
He's the owner, a minority owner of a team that's
in the same division. So now the coaches when they
attending these meetings with him, they can't, right, they can.

But they're not anyway. They're not going to be forthcoming
with their information anyway.

Whether tom Brady's.

Not so much more as the players.

Yeah, I mean I get it, and like I said,
I definitely get it, and I understand that there has
to be an adjustment in terms of him being there.
I still think that the biggest conversation here is that
it was allowed to happen, like there wasn't a decision
made that says, even if Tom Brady is okay with
trying to double down on being a a color call

and be a minority owner, there has to be a
decision a line drawn into sign saying by either Fox
or by or by the NFL. And you would think
that it would be the NFL, because there's no reason
for for Fox to go away from saying okay. ESPN
has Joe Buck and has and has Troy Aikman. They're
bidding to try to get this Super Bowl game and

all this old other up. So they go and get
the biggest personalities in the game, and Fox unloads on
them with bringing in Tom Brady. This is a win
for Fox, no matter how you splice it, But I
don't see it being beneficial in a win for the
National Football League.

So to me, if it begs the.

Question of why would the NFL not make Tom Brady
leave his job calling games in order to get that
minority stake.

Because this is something that has never happened before.

I can almost guarantee you that they never foresaw him
calling a game and walking down to the coaching booth.
I mean, who would think of doing that outside of him?

surprised me. One of the head coaches in his own division,
and Sean Payton came out and said that he didn't
have a problem with it, I would have made an

Tom Brady's a mind the owner and a color call

The commanders are going to have to figure out what
they're gonna do. Uh without Jayson Daniels, it seems, I

what what are our feelings on this? It doesn't seem
like it's two series. It's a Sprain I should note
that one who has had extensive history with sprain knees. Uh,
you gotta be careful with sprain needs. You got to
give it the proper time for it to hell, or
it becomes easier for you to injure that need the

same way you know, moving forward. What is your take is,
are the commanders in in decent position to be able
to move forward with Marcus Mariota at Mariota until Jaden
gets back or is this cause.

Marcus Mariota obviously one of the top picks of the

League and right off the rip was a really really
good player as a Rooky. They just gonna have to
be I'm concerned because McLaurin holds out, he holds out,
he find gets you knew you was gonna get a

and Jane Daniels can continue to work on their chemistry.

To me, Mariota is a slightly not a slightly. He's
a big downgrade to me from Jade Daniels. And that's
no disrespect, that's just a understanding of what Jade Daniels
brought to the table and what he accomplishes a roocky
the commanders. It will be interesting to see how they

navigate this when Jaye Daniels comes back, Are they gone
still have him running the ball as frequently?

play free and avoid injury, and so you don't the
first thing I thought about, man, I don't know. When
you see the clip they keep showing where they sail
his knee, is he hurt his knee? It kind of
reminded me, And luckily it didn't get to this point
of when RG three was playing the ravens Man and

been inserted into this offense, I would think that dan
Quinn going into this game is really going to try
to minimize Marcus Marrio from going out and really mismanaging

and turning the football over, which which he has done
consistently in his career when with Tennessee. Let's just be honest,
he's not a very good quarterback. And the Washington Commanders
are on the brink of they're competing in the NFC East.
I can't just say that the Philadelphia Eagles are going

to win this division because I really believe that Daniels
he's on a climb to be one of the best quarterbacks,
not just not just in the division, but in this league,
and I think kind of hurts him. So for right now,
if I'm dan Quinn, I really want to go out
and establish the run game. You know, get Micky Law

and the ball, Austin Acktler, some of these guys, because
I believe that the Washington Commanders have one of the
best defenses in all the.

Football Hey, without Actler, without actler. Yeah, I say, now,
Jay Daniels, who you thin?

Yeah, And it's only Jaydon Daniels for possibly a week.
Like we're not talking like like Joe Burrow, where this
is an extended amount of time where he's out. We're
only talking you know, week to week with with Jaydon Daniels.

I think what TJ said though, is something to be
like thought of is how are we going to use him?
And looking at what we talked about at the top
of the show about Tua, Tua doesn't seem to be
running as fearlessly as he did before them concussions took place.
If you change the way maybe Jaydon Daniels is looking

at what he's doing, do you change the essence of
who he is as a player by possibly saying, hey, look,
don't run as much. We need you to throw the
ball on a gear our offense to throw it more.
Does that hurt them if they do that?

But I'm just saying from a player perspective, even if
dan Quinn stepped to the Dames, so listen, we're trying
to protect you, or don't run the football as much,
but you would know when you get it on the
football field ball.

Your reaction to the game is going to tell your
body what to do. So even if they do tell
him to try to calm it down, slow it down

he has no he has no chance of being a

good because he showed that as a rookie, he's shown

I thought what would be an advantage is influence the
wow factor of Tom Brady. There aren't very many guys

that will walk into a locker room or into a facility,
do you know, watch the practices, be a part of
what's going on, and people be in all of the person.

And if he were to say hello.

To you, have a quick conversation with you, just two minutes,
one minute of time with Tom Brady could actually influence
you to possibly wanting to go play for the Las
Vegas Raiders.

I look at it from that perspective of and why not?

I don't think it's to that point. Why not just
because Tom Brady is a mini state and the Los
Angeles rated as a player, you automatically want to go
play for him just because he's the owner, regardless of

I hope, I hope the guys around the league are
not doing that based off of his presence walking around
the locker room and the facilities and.

restrictions on him as far as going in these team
facilities attending practices because he has inside track the information.

being a color analyst. I get all that, But the
whole narrative of him being in the coaching booth or
the box during a football game, it shouldn't be allowed
because why would you not relay the information that you

have heard from a coach or a player and a
production meeting to your team. He's the owner of a team.
He wants to win.

It's just like you guys.

Know on Friday, the color analysts attend practice so they
see your first down, runs, passes, whatever the.

Case may be.

That's your script, Yes, your script.

That's your script going into the game, blitz pick up
red z one. You may have a fake punt or
a fake field goal, or your trick playing, whatever the
case may be. Why wouldn't he not relay some of
that information during a live broadcast going to a coaching
booth and say, you know what, I saw this play
on Friday. If they get into this, if they get

into this formation, this is what they're gonna do. He
should not be allowed in a coaching booth during a
live football game if he's a color analyst working the game, period,
point blank. I don't have a problem with him being
on them. But at the same time, you cannot go
in a coaching booth.

And and and.

Give advice and listen to what's going on and have
input during a football game after you have interviewed the
coaches and the players and you have seen and heard
exactly what they're trying to do during that football game.

But it doesn't not fall on the coaches.

It's never gonna happen.
Speaker 6 (05:59):
He's never gonna be calling the same game and then
the Raiders. No, I'm not saying that that had never opened,
but what you mean, he won't be like, they're not
going to have him call a game and the Raiders
are playing that same game, so he wants he's a
practice to relay that information.

He still has information for what he saw two or
three weeks ago versus a previous upon that.

Is going to the Raider.

I don't have a problem with him being allowed to
do all of these things. I don't have a problem
with that because if if the league is okay with it,
I'm okay with it. I'm just saying, we know he's
smart enough. We know that for a fact, and we
also know he wants his team, who now is the Raiders.
His team is the Raiders, right, he wants them to

be as successful as possible. You have lost your mind
if you think he's not gonna relay information.

The coaches shouldn't be in positioned where they have to

tell you why I believe, not necessarily. So we know

the meat and potatoes of our offense stays the same.

that's different.

the guys that are watching practice, they're not close enough
to hear the line calls and things of that nature.
So yeah, you can see what I'm doing, but you
can see that on film.

Man, he understands that this man is highly intelligent. Man,
he understands exactly what's going on and to what you
just said, to why you said it's not going to
go on. Imagine he calls, let's say, are charters in

to what the coaches and the players are saying about
their scheme and whatever they're trying to do to stop

attending these meetings with him, they can't, right, they can.

bidding to try to get this Super Bowl game and

all this old other up. So they go and get
the biggest personalities in the game, and Fox unloads on
them with bringing in Tom Brady. This is a win
for Fox, no matter how you splice it, But I
don't see it being beneficial in a win for the
National Football League.

Question of why would the NFL not make Tom Brady
leave his job calling games in order to get that
minority stake.

To me, Mariota is a slightly not a slightly. He's
a big downgrade to me from Jade Daniels. And that's

navigate this when Jaye Daniels comes back, Are they gone
still have him running the ball as frequently?

he's on a climb to be one of the best quarterbacks,

I believe that the Washington Commanders have one of the
best defenses in all the.

like thought of is how are we going to use him?

at what he's doing, do you change the essence of
who he is as a player by possibly saying, hey, look,
don't run as much. We need you to throw the
ball on a gear our offense to throw it more.
Does that hurt them if they do that?

dan Quinn stepped to the Dames, so listen, we're trying
to protect you, or don't run the football as much,
but you would know when you get it on the

Mac Jones showed as a rookie that you put him
in a system where the coach knows what he's doing,

But once you play, you pay brock Party. Oh Mac Jones,

he has no he has no chance of being a
starting quarterback in the San Francisco forty nine ers long term.
They pray they paid brock Party. So this is Rock
Party's job, Mac Jones. We need you to win as
many games possible. I don't care how many of you win.
You can win all of them. You going to the
bench from Brock Party is ready to play. And that's
just the questions. As we know, we all know that,

just that, that's just the reality of it. But Mac
Jones looked good. I believe he will continue to look
good because he showed that as a rookie, he's shown
he can play. And now you're going with one of
the best offensive minds in football and Kyle Shanahan, a
guy that can scheme up.

I don't know if you guys paid attention to an
interview and what Mac Jones said. He said, man, Kyle
Shanahan called the play and he told us dur He
told me during the week of practice, when I call
this play, this is the look that I'm expecting. We
may not get this look, but this is what I'm expecting,
and if they play it this way, this guy's gonna

be wide open right here. And Mac Jones said it
worked exactly how Kyle Shanahan said it would work.
