have a strong intuition based upon the numbers, that Deshaun Watson.

I continue to say, if he could have came back
to play this year, I want to see him play,
and I want to see him play just specifically because well,
for what it's worth, he's still your franchise quarterback. So
I would want to see if he has any good
reps in him for this season, just to see what

I'm working with going in to the offseason. But what
you know, just super quickly because we don't have a
lot of time. But what you guys, what's your take
on this?

Well, it's a matter of time, man, Deshaun Watson, with
the injuries and the way he's played, we all want
to he gonna get it together this year. He gonna
get another, it's over man, a trade that looks so
promising that ninety percent of the NFL would have made
that was looking for a quarterback.

Maybe the worst trading in NFL history.

And so maybe it's just it's unfortunate. It's unfortunate that
the Browns had to do this and go through this.
But the way Deshaun.

Watson played with the Houston Texans.

I don't know a team in the league that needed
a quarterback that wouldn't have done the same thing.

The reason he had leverage because he was going to
the Falcons. If you recall every it was reported that
he was going to the Atlanta Falcons and then the
Cleveland Brown's come in and offering a fully guaranteed contract.
That's how bad they wanted even that's how good Deshaun
Watson was when he's with the Houston Texans.

He had that leverage.

He's very good. I'm gonna just keep it short. The sweek, Man,
Deshaun Watson will be on this roster in twenty twenty six. Man,
he has a they owe on what next year he's
He's gonna be on the last year of his contract
for forty six million dollars eighty million dollars against a
cap man, which makes them possibly un impossible whatever you
want to say to trade him. So he's going to

be there next year, Stefanski will not. I don't know
what you do moving forward with this quarterback room because
obviously you have Dylan Gabriels your door, Sanders. Deshaun Watson
is going to be there next year regardless, so Cleveland
Browns Andrew Barry. I don't know what you do moving
forward in the quarterback room. But uh, Deshaun Watson, he's
not going anywhere just because of everything that I just said. Man,

on that contract.

Well, I was gonna say, if the family man, Philip Rivers,

and get off the grid. But I would say, look, man,
why not if Philip Rivers can do it, why not

new coach, what is that new coach is, what is

three of them? That's probably going to be the first,

you know, conversation that has to take place between any coach,
whether it's Stefanski or whether it's a new coach, It's
going to have to be the first question that is
answered going into that offseason and into the new NFL year.

a deal with Deshaun Watson that gives him this flexibility
to take this long to get himself back ready to go.
So I mean you should exhaust every opportunity to try
to figure out if he's the guy for the job. Anyway,

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
