Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to shining like the star that you are and what it takes to get there. Let me ask you something, have you ever dreamed of being great? Ever dreamed of being more and/or having more than what you have right now? I know I have. For some it may be fame? Fortune? A family? A house? A car? Whatever it is, it’s that thing that makes you feel “lit”…alive.   In the hit song, “Hickory Dickory” by grammy nominated recording artist Chika she belts, “I look at the stars they ask me what do I see, I noticed that lately, all them constellations been looking like me.” When you look in the sky…tell me, what do you see? When we talk about being “lit,” imagine being one of those stars…in a sea of nothingness, pure blackness and tapping into a light source inside of you. In comparison that very same light source is what we call your dream or dreams. You can’t get it from anyone or anywhere else and nothing around you is like you and as you know…if you don’t grind, you don’t shine and some of the best things take time. “Like, "Hickory Dickory", [your] clock has been ticking to victory. [You] don't have to fear in the world whenever it's time, [you'll] know they'll be listening.” So in the meantime keep pressing, keep fighting, just keep going until you can say, “I’m a star now. them visions don’t feel very far now.”   That’s it for your dose of “Vitamin D.” Be sure to follow me on all social media @dawndaispeaks and until next time, always remember, "YOU are your greatest asset."
