Today’s dose of "Vitamin D" is dedicated to perseverance. Going after your dreams isn’t easy, but it's certainly possible. See it takes a special kind of person to go after their dream. Why do you think they call it a dream? If our dreams were easy to reach... they wouldn’t have the same sweetness in the moment of accomplishment. And so there are often obstacles on the path to becoming your best self. But when you trip up on the path... the question then becomes, "Are you going to get up?"
See, you must remember that your dreams won’t work unless you do and no one is going to what your dreams as bad as you. Just like Frank Ocean’s single, “Provider,” there will come a point where you will realize that you’re “the only one out on the night loops” grinding for what you know is yours. And no matter what, you have to show up for yourself again and again and again. Now, It’s fine to take rest, to catch your breath. Because there’s no race to the top. No one else is on your path and honestly, you’ll most likely do yourself a disservice trying to force something when you aren't ready. period. Providing for yourself, others, or your dream, isn’t a one-and-done thing and it’s certainly not a one-size-fits-all. And yes, it will take time, time for you to develop your mastery and soon you’ll be able to show the world! And when someone says “show me the wisdom in your movement” they’ll see the fruit of your perseverance.
That’s it for your dose of “Vitamin D.” Be sure to follow me on all social media @dawndaispeaks and until next time... always remember, "YOU are your greatest asset."
