Speaker 1 (00:01):
You are what I call ye.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Hey, it's way up with clearly, I'm here with my guy.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Man.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
You gotta stop. Every time I look up Dan, I produce.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
It is like ravaging this banana, like that false. It's
like awful. Y'all were just talking about OnlyFans and then
I look up.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
And see that.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
All right, well, welcome back into Tuesday. And Monday was
Martin Luther King Junior Day. It was also the inauguration.
A lot of things have happened, a lot was going on,
a lot of things. I was in Detroit over the weekend.
We'll talk about that shortly. They had the Big Show
and so I was there for that, and also the
Auto Show is happening right now in Detroit. So good times, guys,

(01:00):
It's good times. But it was you know how they
say it's so cold, and indeed, when I tell you,
I stepped outside Little Caesars Arena, I felt like my
fingers were gonna freeze.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
And that had to be negative right there.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Though I was showing you the streets and yeah, frozen, frozen.
It's cold to New York, but it's so cold. And indeed,
all right, well, let's get this show started. Some love
and some positivity. Lets shine a light eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty Call us up and let
us know who you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Its way up.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
Turn your lights on, y'all spreading love to those who
are doing greatness.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Shine light on, shine the light on.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
It's time to shine a light on them.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
It's way up at the Angela.

Speaker 6 (01:42):
Yee.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
I'm here with my guyos right way up baby, and.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Today I want to shine a light.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
I told you guys, I was in Detroit for double
jlb's big show and I got to shine a light
on Sharon and Chris Carson, the two of them as
women at the station, just kind of putting this whole
event together.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
You know.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Sharon definitely a lot of blood, sweat and tears to
pull this off, to make it in a great event.
At Little Caesar's, she did this whole intro video, but
the projector there was some issues.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
They tested it. At first it played, but then it didn't.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
But she really like kind of on her own when
above and beyond to make things happen. I was like, Sharon,
you got to relax and have a little bit of
fun because I know how hard it is to put
together a whole event, and it's just stressful the whole time.
So finally able to do that, everything was great, smooth.
The only hiccup I saw was and that wasn't on
her was the boss Man Dilo thing. But we'll talk

(02:33):
about that later on during ut I'll tell you what
happened in that situation. But anyway, shout out to Sharon,
shout out to Chris Carson. They made sure everything went
smoothly at that thing. Gloilla and Sexy Red as the
headliners of the show. Is amazing just seeing women coming together,
supporting each other, doing their thing. All right, now, Sharon,
who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 7 (02:53):
So I want to sign a light on an organization
called BLASS. It's called Black in Law Enforcement Servicing the Commune.
They are a group of first ree foonders, correctional officers,
and actual police officers in the community that serves to
break the gap between the community and law enforcement.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Okay, all right, we like that, we need that.

Speaker 7 (03:13):
Yes, they really take care of our underrepresented folks in
our communities, and they just do this out of the
kindness of their hearts, out of their pocket. They don't
get a lot of recognition, so it's really important for
me to shine a light on them. So from one
sister to another, I appreciate you for doing this and
I just absolutely want to shine a light on Busstrong.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
All right, well, thank you so much for calling, and
I shine a light on you too. Thank you. All right.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Well that was shine a Light eight hundred and two
ninety two fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through,
you can still leave a message and do it that way.
And when we come back, we have here. Yet we
got to start it off with Dave Chappelle on SNL
and Glorilla. I saw Glorilla at the big show in Detroit.
But we'll tell you some of the funniest moments. It's
way up, they.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Says truth in the rooms from industry shade to all
of gos ap out man Angelus speeling that yet.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
It's way up at Angela. Yee, my guy, Mano's here
yea tea time.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Oh man.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
I love Dave Chappelle and he did SNL and I
know that's going to bring in those ratings, and Glorilla
was a guest as well. Now, one thing that he
did in his monologue was of course talk about Diddy,
But I love the way that he referenced everything that
happened uh with the freak offs. Here's what he had
to say about Diddy and being famous.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
It's just no fun being famous anymore.

Speaker 8 (04:32):
It feels like I'm storming the beach of Normandy World
War two. But I gotta keep a happy expression.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
On my face all the time.

Speaker 8 (04:39):
The bullets of wism by, and then every once in
a while something terrible happened bout I'm like, oh no,
Papa got hit, and probaly be like, oh keep going, playboy,
keep the face and forgot about.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
It all right.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
And then after that he talked about not being at
these freak coughs.

Speaker 8 (05:00):
My friends asked me, is she the only thing about
those freak golf parties. I'd be like no, and they'd
be like, well, how all these people? You know it
was a freak golf, But she's the only one that
wasn't at the freak golf.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
And I thought about it for a minute. I said,
oh my god, I'm ugly.

Speaker 8 (05:17):
Do you imagine if you were me reading the newspaper
and found out everyone in Hollywood had an orgy behind
your back?

Speaker 4 (05:24):
When is that coming up?

Speaker 2 (05:26):
It's that snl oh.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
That was yeah, that was and he was also here
doing shows at Radio City and then was in towented
snl yeah all the time. So shout out to Dave Chappelle,
shout out to Global LA that also did a Pop
the Balloon sketch. You know, we loved Pop the Balloon
is so funny when it's like done properly as a joke.

(05:49):
All right, And so he did bring back Slinky Johnson.
Here's how it happened.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Thank you all. My name is Silk and Johnson. A
little bit about me.

Speaker 8 (06:01):
I'm a purveyor of precious goods and services.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
I e.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
This one here all you.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Ain't talking to were talking one looking at ship walk.

Speaker 8 (06:12):
Do me a favor in hand? This woman another balloon sadt.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
He popped it for it.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
That was Lirilla And of course Donell brought back Ashy Larry.
So you gotta watch that to see though, because we
had a chance to see him get ashed up. You
can get him all as ash Okay, guys, Ashy all
looked at me crazy, but yeah, so shout out to them.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
You know that's my guy right there, Donelle Rowlings.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
All right, I also saw this and This was heartbreaking,
and I saw that Young Thug's son was speaking out
saying that Young Thug is putting Mariah the scientists over him. Oh,
he put out, it's different when your family ain't with you.
I don't need no N word for none of I'm
on my own, f my family. My dude's gonna be
fleeing like nobody here with me. And that's the son
that actually lost his mother as well. But then Young

(07:00):
thug sister spoke out his aunt right and said, try
dealing with kids who chooses street life that wasn't raised
in the streets, who can get whatever they want whenever
they want, but chooses not to go to school and
drop out. A woman has nothing to do with my
nieces and nephew's real talk. Entitlement does with no sense
of direction, no ambitions, no future plans, no respect. All
they want to do is make drill music and on drugs.

(07:20):
Kids been giving multiple opportunities to go to school with
the rich, and yet they turn it down to stay
on the streets and call requesting cash acts and zells.
So basically, she said go do something positive, and she
said still let them all equally. You want to be
grown you got to pay the price to be grown.
When you realize you want to be a kid to
just get what you want and then go right back
to being grown, that's when the adults the problem. So

(07:40):
we'll talk about that later, but that was your et.
Now about last night, when we come back, I'll tell
y'all what it was like in Detroit during big show.
But speaking of on chill, we are all on chill
across the nation right now. Here's Wallet and Jeremiah's way up.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
It's way up at the Angela. Yes, we're way up.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Many What were you doing over the weekend?

Speaker 9 (08:08):
I remember I had to go to Atlanta. Then yes,
I saw you, big shout out and rest in peace
to my stepdad Kia. He passed away, U broken heart.
So soon as I got back from Atlanta on Friday,
I had to.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
Go he went straight.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
I saw you, actually absolutely, because actually I forgot about this.
So over the weekend on on Friday was the first
day that I kind of tested opening up my bar
at my coffee shop, and you did pull up, so
thank you for that. We got to see unk ye
and you guys were coming from the going to the repass.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
So uh, and you're all like pulled up and came
through for a second. So that was it was nice
to see everybody. And then the next morning I left
to go to Detroit super early. I had a seven
am flight and they had the big show and also
the Auto Show was out there.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
The Auto Show.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
I haven't been to that one. You know, that's like
the biggest one, the Auto Show in Detroit. Yeah, so
that was a big deal. I met G.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Matt Cash.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
I went to go eat at this restaurant, Parlay that
is lits. It's like the most popular restaurant in Detroit
right now and you actually will be able to start
placing bets from inside of Parlay.

Speaker 2 (09:14):
And so I was there. I saw G. Matt Cash and.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
He performed at the Auto Show, but I met him
there Montgomery Brawl and he does like he does like
all the fun virals songs that go viral.

Speaker 10 (09:26):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
And then I went to Parlay again the next day
and ran into Jasmine Renee and Cash Doll Nice and
they were there, so we were there. Yeah, Jazzmine Renee, yes,
she was. She actually will be on lip service and
she's on Battye's Midwest. The other thing we did, of course,
was go to the Big Show, and my girl, Jasmine
Brand was with me. My guy George McKenny did my makeup,

(09:48):
got my hair done.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
You know.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Shout out to Chantal for doing that and all of
when I tell you, shout out to Sharon who made
everything happen.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
It was an amazing, amazing show.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
I got there from the beginning, so I got it
chance to see Snapdog perform. I interviewed him at the
Auto show as well. He opened up the show. That
was his first time doing the Big Show and he's
from Detroit and quite entertaining like he did.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
It was amazing. I know, sometimes opening up for the show.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
And sometimes it's not easy to do that because you
really are bringing up the energy.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
But that was amazing to see.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
And then I told you, guys, Golorilla and Sexy Red
closed it out. Tea Grizzly was there. Skill a baby.
He brought Skill a baby out as a special guest.
And it was a good time. We had a great
time in Detroit as always. The only downside was it
was freezing. When I tell you, I thought my fingers
were gonna fall off. The other downside that happened was
the Lion's game. They lost, They lost, And so I

(10:43):
was looking at this article and they were saying, not
only was the city crushed, but so was people who
placed those bets. Public bettings were crushed by the Lions
getting upset by the commanders in the divisional round. A
lot of people suffered heartbreak from losing money. And I'm
I want to ask you guys, it's hard for me,
like betting on games makes you watch the game differently

(11:04):
than if you were just enjoying it as a fan,
because it really is a lot on the line.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Emotionally tied to it.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
Go go no, and then you blame individual players for
messing up.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
Yeah, we have the TV.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I want to hear from you guys.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
If you bet, what is the most you ever lost
while betting on a game?

Speaker 2 (11:21):
And what was that feeling like? And did I go
right back to it?

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Eight hundred two nine fifty one fifty we're talking about
betting on games. What's the most that you ever lost
betting on a game? Eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty call us up, and maybe the most you
ever won, but really the most you ever loss is
what we want to talk about because people really thought
the Lions were going to take it.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
It was a given.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Jasmine bet against Snapdog. He bet on the Lions. She
bet on the Commanders because she lives in DC, and
she won. And now he's got to wear a commander's jersey.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Call us up,
what's the most you ever lost betting? May know you
have to wear out yet against you?

Speaker 4 (11:57):
Playing with you?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
May right, you never know what AND's gonna say.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
It's way up at Angela yee manos hearing me, and
right now we're talking about betting. Now, you know, the
Detroit Lions loss to the Washington Commanders, but everybody was
so sure they were gonna win. I was in Detroit, like,
all right, this is gonna be so much fun. We
out here they were about to win. Go on, and
people were already talking about going to the Super Bowl,

(12:24):
and people booked their rooms like they were like were going.
And unfortunately the Lions loss to the Commanders, right, so
they're not going. They did say though, the winners were
sportsbook operators, because bookies are doing backflips because of that
upset loss, and they would have to do a whole
lot of payouts if the Lions did win because a

(12:46):
lot of people were betting on them. And so now
it's kind of shaking everything up because they were favorites
in the Super Bowl odds, and so that's what happened
with that.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Now Mayno, do you.

Speaker 9 (12:57):
Bet every now and then? I bet on boxing mostly though,
every now and then on football.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
You feel like you're up or down when it comes
to betting.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
I feel like I don't bet enough.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
To Matt, it's fun, for real, because that's what betting
is supposed to be. It's supposed to be for fun.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
It's not like, yeah, I'm not in it enough.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
But when you hit oh my goodness, what a great feeling.
What we want to hear from you guys? What is
the most money that you lost betting? Because I saw
people going crazy breaking their televisions, Leslie, what's the most
that you ever lost betting?

Speaker 6 (13:30):
All? Forty eight thousand?

Speaker 2 (13:33):
You put up forty eight thousand.

Speaker 11 (13:35):
This was literally days ago Friday and.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
You who you were betting on the Lions?

Speaker 6 (13:41):
No, I we never go against Patrick mahone.

Speaker 12 (13:43):
So I had Kansas City money line.

Speaker 11 (13:45):
Bill's minus seven and a half.

Speaker 13 (13:47):
Everything hit minus Ohio State.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
What's crazy?

Speaker 12 (13:51):
Is Ohio State won?

Speaker 6 (13:52):
Where she played basketball?

Speaker 12 (13:54):
I wanted football?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Oh damn, I'm not. I'm mad for you.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
Four eight, six one to bring back ninety five?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
All right, let me bet all those numbers.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
Odds wasn't even plus money.

Speaker 12 (14:05):
This is just something that's supposed to happen, and it happened.

Speaker 7 (14:09):
But because the teller put basketball, I did not hit.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Damn.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
That's crazy. Don't you check your ticket and make sure
it's correct?

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Do they do right?

Speaker 6 (14:19):
Right? And that's all me, that's all me, because he
asked me, is that right? And I'm I'm looking.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
At the arts' payout.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Are you gonna go right back and bet again?

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (14:33):
I'm going right now, Okay, right now? Thank you for calling? Hey, King,
what's up?

Speaker 6 (14:39):
I'm a good feeling man.

Speaker 11 (14:41):
Your money man, I lost.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
Right to you less a thousand dollars, so you better
quick player.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
All right, he's not gonna he's not gonna stop. Thank
you stop. Thank he said, I'm not gonna stop. You
can always leave a messag and let us know if
you couldn't get through about your betting. If you want
to kind of vent about it. We're here for you,
a lot of y'all going right back though. It's not
a game, or is it all right? When we come back,
We have your yee tea. And we discussed this earlier.
But let's talk about what happened with Boss Mandilo. He

(15:14):
was supposed to be at the Big Show. He was
in Detroit, he drove there actually, and he didn't end
up coming out on stage. We'll tell you what happened,
and what happens with that seventy five thousand dollars deposit
as well.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Shure, she's about to blow the lid ab off this spot.
Let's get it.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
Oh yeah, Angelus feeling that yeeze.

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Come and get the tea.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
It's way up at Angela. Ye, I'm here with my
guy Maino. Right all right.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
So I told you guys that I was in Detroit
over the weekend for the Big show.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Amazing show.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
The only disappointment was that boss Man Dillo was in town,
but somehow didn't make it to the show on time.
We're going to break all of that down, but here
is what was said about boss Man Dilo after he
missed his set.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
One thing I hate is a man who came on
up towards. You've been to Detroit. You're in your room,
don't fing it out.

Speaker 14 (16:01):
We keep calling you. You keep talking about you're gonna
be there in thirty minutes. The two thirty minutes won't
pass the whole hour. You missed your whole set. Then
you pop up one glow real on. You can't go
off the glow.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
Really, that's in the contract. We need that front end back.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
We need that seventy five thousand.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
All right, Well, I will say this other than that
it was an amazing show. And Boss Mandilo responded, I'm
literally in Detroit right now, been here. Y'all blame the
promoter for why I ain't come, Not me. I jove
twenty six hours to get to Detroit. Know, Stuffy, why
the F would I not perform? Ask yourself that So.
What I am glad though, is that this misunderstanding did
get cleared up because Boss Mandilo's manager responded and he posted,

(16:45):
I've done a hundred plus shows of Boss Mandlo. He
doesn't miss his shows. T MAC made a mistake and
I'm taking full accountability. Here's what he said.

Speaker 13 (16:52):
Yesterday, My client, Boss Man Dilo, missed his set in
Detroit because of my fault. There was a schedule update.
We didn't see the email. We never got the word
to Team d Loo. I'm sorry to the promoters. I'm
so sorry to Team de Loo. I'm gonna make this right.
I'm gonna pay back the promoter's deposit, and I'm gonna.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
Make Delo whole well.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
Shout out to everybody involved because they did settle it.
And I will say I was there and there was
an update in the time, but.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
They sent the email. It should have been some calls going.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Out, right because I got the email, I don't know
if the calls went out or not, so maybe they did,
you know, who knows. But the manager did take responsibility
for that. Originally he was going on at nine point
fifteen and then they changed it to eight thirty, so
that looks like that was, you know, some of what
the issue was, and they were trying to stall to
wait for him to get there on time with the

(17:43):
schedule update, but it didn't happen.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
So that's what it is.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
And apparently hopefully everybody is cool with it now and
they're going to figure out a way to make up
for this and get the money back. You know, he
said he's going to give it back. So very mature
way to handle the misunderstanding. I have to say, right
as it does happen, all right. The Black Eyed Peas
they are mixing their Vegas residency for twenty twenty five.
They'll no longer be performing a series of shows in Vegas.

(18:09):
It was supposed to start February fifteenth at the Planet
Hollywood Auditorium. They posted that it was canceled due to
quote current circumstances. They said, ticket providers will issue full
refund to automatically stay tuned for updates on future performances
by following us we can't wait to see you again.
So I don't know what that current circumstances was, but

(18:29):
I did see people online speculating previously they were saying
the tickets weren't moving like that, And then I saw
people saying I didn't even know they had a residency
of would have went all right, well that is your
yet when we come back under the radar, these are
the stories that are not in the headlines, but they're
flying under the radar. But there's no way we can't
talk about Trump and yesterday's inauguration and only a couple

(18:50):
of them. We can only get into a couple of
the things that happen, but we will. All right, let's
get into gold Digger yay, And Jamie.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
Fox is way up news in the news that relates
to you. These stories are flying under the radar, all.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Right, his way ye put Angela, Yeah, I'm here with
my guy made.

Speaker 11 (19:10):
Man.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
It's time for under the radar.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
But these are not necessarily under the radar stories today
because Donald Trump's happen. I saw, you know, some things
you kind of just like laugh at, but then you're
also like, this is actually serious business. So Donald Trump
posted that he was firing Keisha Lance Bottoms from the
President's Export Council, but.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
She had already resigned. She responded a day late and
a dollar short.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
My resignation from the President's Export Council was submitted January fourth,
effective yesterday. You can't fire someone who has already resigned.
Of all of the things happening in the world. Not
sure why I'm on Donald Trump's mind at one thirty
am following his inauguration, but I counted as a badge
of honor and then posted the resignation letter that she

(19:55):
submitted January fourth. I think he just wanted the ability
to be able to say you're fired.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Or something pretty small.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
I wonder if you get if you are eligible then
to get you know, you know when you get fired
from a job.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Yeah, unemployment if you're as a book at that.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
But anyway, he also has done a slew of executive
actions after being sworn in on the first day he
wanted to. He said he's removing the US from the
Paris Climate Agreement. He's also freezing hiring in the federal
government and says that federal workers have to return to
in person at the office.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
He also announced a pardon for.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Most of the people who were charged in the January sixth,
twenty twenty one attack on the US Capitol. That's about
fifteen hundred people, a full pardon. He signed an executive
action that extended the deadline for seventy five days for
the TikTok ban and he's saying they have to find
a new owner or face a band in the US.
That's that was something that he had initiated actually in

(20:53):
twenty twenty, and then it happened. Then they thanked him
on TikTok publicly. I'm sure that was part of his
agreement like, I need you to post something thanking me
for bringing it back, because people think that's you know this,
This was something he prevented because it was such an
uproar over TikTok. He also rescinded seventy eight Biden executive actions,
including an executive order that required federal agencies to extend

(21:17):
prohibitions on sex discrimination and that allowed transgender people to
serve in the military, and in order that banned the
renewal of private prison contracts. I also saw that he
wrote that there's only a man and a woman. That's it,
two genders, so anybody else.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
So you can't be out here like basically saying.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
That I'm a trans woman, I'm a trans man.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
You can't say that.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Be who you are. You have to be he classifies
you to be. He also declared a national emergency on
the southern border. I saw people who were crying, who
were waiting for their paperwork to get processed, to be
able to have the ability to come over to the
United States from Mexico, and so he stopped all of
that for now, and he took executive action on the

(21:59):
names of us, including renaming the Gulf of Mexico's Golf America.
Oh my goodness, I don't even know why is that
something that is like top of mind.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
He had all these things written now already.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
He was ready now speaking of executive orders because people
I saw people saying, well, why didn't Biden, you know,
do all these executive orders and things like that. The
thing about an executive order is that the president has
the right to do it, but they have a right
to challenge it. Also in the Supreme Court. Obviously he's
placed people in the Supreme Court. He has the House,
he has the Senate, he has the Supreme Court, he

(22:35):
has everything. So right now, pretty much whatever it is
that he wants to do is going to end up happening.
We didn't even get a chance to get to Elon
Musk doing the whole Nazi salute, but he did that
as well, and then people are trying to act like
that's not what it is.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
It was out of nowhere too.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
It was a very distinctive, like I don't even want
to I was about to emulate it, but I would
never do that. But the fact that he stopped and
did that is crazy to me. Twice, not just once,
but twice. All right, Well, that is your under the radar,
and we do have the Way Up mix at the
top of the hour. Plus we have a lot more
to discuss when it comes to the inauguration. They were performances.

(23:14):
It wasn't smooth like you thought it would be. An
Asky is on the way too.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
It's way up.

Speaker 5 (23:20):
And she's spilling it all. This is Yeaty way up.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
It's way up with Angela. Ye, I'm here with my
guy Mano.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
We ate a ton of donuts and cupcakes just and
there was rote us. All right, let's get into this
really this yeat. So Donald Trump's inauguration, I know we're
all talking about that, and some of the people who attended,
I mean some people we expected to be there, Kid Rock,
Joe Rogan, Mark Zuckerberg, Dana White, all of those people
were there.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
Carrie Underwood was performing.

Speaker 10 (23:51):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (23:51):
The village people performed because Donald Trump loves them. And
this though, was trending all weekend. Some of our hip
hop celebrities who actually performed at Donald Trump's inauguration. Now,
people were surprised that Snoop did this because previously during

(24:12):
two elections ago. Here's what he has to say about
people at that time who were performing for Donald Trump.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
So ain't nobody gonna perform for Donald Trump?

Speaker 6 (24:18):
Uh?

Speaker 10 (24:19):
Which one of you, jiggaboo ass gonna be the first
one to do it?

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Don't wait, I'm gonna roast one of you.

Speaker 4 (24:26):
Uncle Tom asked for doing it.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
And then there he was.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
You know, another person who got a lot of backlash.
And I saw that Ashanti's fan page was like, we're
no longer one of her fan pages is like, we
can no longer support the Hayneses. But Nelly actually performed,
and he responded. He talked to Willy D. He was
on WILLI D Live, and here's what he had to
say about why he performed.

Speaker 6 (24:51):
I'm not doing this for money.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
I'm doing this because it's an honor. I respect the office.

Speaker 10 (24:57):
What do you say to the people that say we're
giving you this backlash because you are popping up a
white supremacist. I would ask him to show me where
he's a white supremacist.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
I mean, now that's ridiculous. We can definitely give some
examples how that support that. Another person was Soldier Boy.
He performed, and you know how Soldier Boy is man.
I didn't have expectations for him to care about the backlash.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Here's what he said.

Speaker 9 (25:27):
Obama ain't ever putting no money in my puckast Kamala,
ain't never.

Speaker 1 (25:30):
Putting no money in my Trump put money in my.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Pucket, all right.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
But then he calmed down and said he needed the money.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
Yeah, yeah, I saw that. That's a yeah all right.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
But I feel like, soldier boy, there's things you could
do to make some money easily, Like you know, you
have the talent to be able to do that.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Now, Pastor Jamal Bryant is saying that we.

Speaker 3 (25:53):
Should boycott these performers who supported Donald Trump because you
can say it's not political all you want, but some people,
you know, if you're performing for a president, it does
feel like I am supporting that president.

Speaker 7 (26:07):
Right.

Speaker 9 (26:08):
Where's the guy that said, thank God on money, we
are free at last, Free at last, free at last.

Speaker 4 (26:15):
Where's he at?

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Here's Pastor Jamal Bryant. Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 10 (26:19):
Don't you watch that inauguration.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
You better watch the rerun or anything.

Speaker 10 (26:23):
Go watch Sampit and Something, Go watch Martin, go watch
this service all over again. Delete Snoop Dogg out of
your discography, no band aids under your eye, delete Nellick.

Speaker 1 (26:34):
Delete rid Ross.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
What do you guys think about that?

Speaker 9 (26:40):
I mean, everybody got a right to do what they
want to do. I mean, that's that's their opinions. I
don't know if that actually means that they're supporting the
actual candidate, because I think that if he was asked
to do Kamala, he would have did that too.

Speaker 4 (26:55):
Kamala Kamala. Yeah, but if.

Speaker 9 (26:58):
Kamala would have won, they would have did it if
he was invited, and.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Donald Trump has said some awful things about Kamala Harrison.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
I saw like some people were saying the.

Speaker 9 (27:06):
Performers, performers, they would have done it. I don't know
if it was so much about him but just being
able to perform it.

Speaker 4 (27:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
I think even seeing what some of the things that
Donald Trump cares about right now and things that he's
doing can be dangerous for people.

Speaker 9 (27:23):
I mean, right, but everybody, everybody don't actually see it
from the same.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Did used to see it that way, cool swoop dog
based on what he said previously. Right, So people were wondering, like,
what is this about, you know, performing at the Liberty Ball.
But I will say this, you know, we'll talk more
about it later because I know, we have to get
into ASKI and I want to definitely get people's opinions
on what they think about it, because everybody does have

(27:49):
the right to perform and support who they want, and
then people also have the right to say, well, we
can't support you anymore because we don't like the decisions
that you make. And so everybody has the right to
do what they want to do. Now, some of those
rights may be taken away soon enough if you're a
trans or you know, but right because Donald Trump already
has signed an executive order about that, so you know

(28:09):
it is what it is.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
Right, We just got to make it through, all right.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Well, ask ye when we come back eight hundred two
ninety two fifty one fifties and I'm gonna call us
up any question you have. We definitely want to help
you out again. That's eight hundred two nine fifty one
fifty Ask yee?

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Is next a right?

Speaker 5 (28:24):
Everybody ex sens whether it's relationship for Koreer advice, Angela's
dropping facts.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
You should know this is ask gee.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
What's up? His way up with Angela?

Speaker 10 (28:33):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
I'm here with my guy Mano and we have Zara
on the line for ask you what's up, Zira?

Speaker 12 (28:38):
Hey, what's help?

Speaker 6 (28:39):
Other?

Speaker 12 (28:39):
Are going good?

Speaker 2 (28:40):
How are you?

Speaker 12 (28:41):
I'm good?

Speaker 2 (28:42):
So you have a question for me and Mano that
we can help you with.

Speaker 12 (28:46):
I was wondering why guys don't want to date people
over the age of twenty seven.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
I definitely don't think that that's true. Those might big
guys who are not.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
Ready for a real commitment or a real relationship, because
I think when guys are ready to settle down, they
do want somebody who you know, is also like more established,
bringing something to the table for them. I definitely feel
like guys are our dating women. Some guys actually don't
want to date women who are that young. It just depends,
I know.

Speaker 12 (29:15):
I feel like everybody that tries to talk me is
like twenty four to twenty five, and I'm like, yo,
They're like, I'm not trying to mess with no basy.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
What's your preferred age range?

Speaker 12 (29:25):
Probably like thirty thirty two. Like I'm twenty eight, so.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
Like I want like thirty two, you know, like thirty one.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
You can't find nobody that's that age.

Speaker 12 (29:33):
Nah, I feel like they all want twenty four twenty,
you know, Like you gotta go on a dating.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
App yeah, where are you finding people?

Speaker 3 (29:40):
Like?

Speaker 2 (29:40):
How are you meeting people?

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Where are you?

Speaker 10 (29:42):
Actually?

Speaker 12 (29:42):
I don't like the dating app. I like the good
old fashion I meet you at the sidewalk or the
store or something like. I'm not trying to do that.

Speaker 4 (29:48):
This is not a good old fashioned error. We live
in Dobay Bay.

Speaker 12 (29:52):
Yeah, but I feel like guys on dating after something
wrong with them, Like why you got to look on
a dating apphen there's so many people in your hood
that you could probably see at the score at the
gas station walking out.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
I'm gonna say this, Zara, if you are serious about
wanting to date and being intentional about that, then there's
different routes that you need to go rather than many
people at the gas station or at the store. I'm
gonna say a couple of different things here. A. Maybe
you need to be at some after work mixers, So
people with jobs who are coming to things after work
that might be more established, that are doing things like

(30:25):
you know, that might be a good place to go.
But apps, there's no problem with that because actually what
they have found is that people who are on those apps,
and especially the ones where you actually have to pay
a monthly fee, they tend to be more serious, you know,
about things, and people who are paying that monthly fee
are more established because they have the money that they're
able to do that with.

Speaker 11 (30:45):
Yeah, I understand that.

Speaker 9 (30:46):
Maybe they're just not failing you though, you know it's
maybe it's not the age, Maybe it's just you.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Oh gosh, man, no.

Speaker 6 (30:52):
You think so. I mean people talk to me.

Speaker 12 (30:54):
It's just not the older guys that I want.

Speaker 6 (30:56):
It's always younger.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Go.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
This is and the the reason I'm saying that might
be good for you, because then you can't curate who
it is that you want.

Speaker 6 (31:04):
How do you look?

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Oh gosh, so I look all right?

Speaker 3 (31:09):
Well listen says you haven't tried this yet, so you
can't knock something that you haven't tried that has been
working for a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Okay, if you say so, if you don't like it,
you ain't got to do it.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
The worst case scenario, you're gonna get some free dinners
or lunches.

Speaker 7 (31:25):
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
Good luck, Zarah. I wish you so much luck.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
I hope this works out and you called me back
and tell me you know what I found somebody?

Speaker 6 (31:34):
Okay, thank you?

Speaker 2 (31:35):
All right, I'm proud.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
Oh bless you, Jesus loves you all right, Well that
was ask ye eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
If you couldn't get through, you can still leave a
message and ask a question that way. And when we
come back, I want to talk about this inauguration and
the Liberty Ball and the performers and all of the
drama behind that. Does it matter to you if you
like an artist if they supported Donald Trump or not,

(31:57):
or you know either way, Does that make a difference
to you or do you feel like the music is
separate from their political support? What do you guys think?
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Call us up.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Yeah, it's gonna turn me up.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Here we go up again.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
This is way up with angela Ye.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
What's up? Its way up at angela Ye. I'm here
with my guy Mano and we are talking about Donald Trump.

Speaker 3 (32:19):
A lot of people that have been supporting him, people
are like Rod Waves, Snoop Dog, Fabio, Foreign Nelly.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
A lot of people have gotten backlash from that.

Speaker 3 (32:29):
And I want to ask you all, would it matter
to you if one of your favorite artists was that
that inauguration or was supporting Donald Trump? Does it make
a difference because some people are like who cares? And
some people actually do support Donald Trump and are hopeful
about it.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
What do you think, Mano.

Speaker 9 (32:45):
To each his own, I think Trump got certain things
that he says that relate to people generally, and I
think that people relate to his honesty, even if it's crazy,
it's not about a book, but people relate to that.

Speaker 3 (32:59):
Even though as far as honesty, they were even talking
about his inauguration speech and how many lies he told
her that it's not honestly he lost.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
He lost for real. I'm saying honest and honest in
who he is. He's not polished, he's not a real politician.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
He doesn't care what he's saying is true or not.
He's gonna say whatever he wants. He's trying to fight
to end birthright citizenship. He wants to make sure that
people aren't coming over here from Mexico, and he's very
honest about it, and his base loves it.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
Well, we want to see what you guys think.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
If somebody was supporting Donald Trump and they used to
be your favorite artist or maybe they still are, it
does it matter to you?

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Hey Day? What's up?

Speaker 6 (33:36):
Hey?

Speaker 11 (33:37):
Jel so if everyone has your own opinion and of
their own you know what I'm saying, everybody is your
own person. So it's not what somebody thinks, it's what
you as a person or an individual thing is right
or doing what you want to do in this free work.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
All right, Well, thank you for that, Okay. So basically,
whatever you decide to do, it got nothing to do with.

Speaker 7 (33:57):
Him, kay.

Speaker 11 (33:58):
I mean, at the end of the day, we got
by the rules and laws and stuff and just got
to do what we got to do as people. You
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
All right, thank you so much. Of a nice day,
you too, Henry.

Speaker 6 (34:10):
Hey, how you doing?

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Me?

Speaker 3 (34:11):
And man who are asking the question if you like
an artist but they're supporting Donald Trump, does that matter
to you?

Speaker 10 (34:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (34:18):
Kind of, because it's like, I don't understand how you
go against somebody who clearly don't like you, especially black artists,
when it's so evident that this person has put out
dangerous rhetoric towards black people or just people of color.
So it's like to me, I can't look at you
the same, right.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
I agree with that is it is troublesome and WORRIESO.
And it also makes me feel like you're not paying
attention even like one of his main things is abolishing
birthright citizenship because he thinks that white people are citizens
and people of color are not.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
That's what it feels like that, you know.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
I remember him questioning whether or not President Barack Obama
was born here.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
He wants to see his birth certificate. I know. Michelle
Obama was like, I'm not showing up for this.

Speaker 6 (35:03):
And also like, I got a question. Is money just
an easy show for you?

Speaker 10 (35:07):
Like?

Speaker 1 (35:07):
What?

Speaker 6 (35:07):
Like, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
I mean a lot of people it's all about what's
that price?

Speaker 6 (35:12):
Yeah, I don't know. Some things that's bigger than what
how much I have in my pocket. Well, thank you
for caring, of course, thank.

Speaker 3 (35:18):
You well, thank you guys for calling if you couldn't
get through you know, last word is coming up eight
hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty. Definitely want
to hear your opinion on that. I feel like it's
going to be a crazy four years when we come back.
It's your show. You have the last word.

Speaker 5 (35:32):
You take up the phone taping to get your voice heard.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
What the word is? Is the last word?

Speaker 3 (35:39):
On Way Up with Angela Yee, what's up his way
up with Angela. Yee, I'm here with my guy MANA yeah, baby. Now,
Donald Trump asked you to perform at inauguration with you.

Speaker 2 (35:48):
Bagg is right, you would do it.

Speaker 4 (35:49):
I'm coming through with you on one too. I've done
worse for less.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
Wow, I've done worse. Give me an example of what
you've done. I need to know what have you done?

Speaker 4 (36:00):
Stop it? Because I've done worse for less. But you
talk about something else.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
No, I told you are the male equivalent to a
bad beat.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
Would you say this on?

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Are crazy?

Speaker 3 (36:15):
But anyway, that was the big debate about whether or
not your morals matter.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
And maybe they are supportive of the president. You know,
maybe they.

Speaker 3 (36:23):
Are fans of Donald Trump. Maybe you know that is
what it is because it's definitely people. We saw Mike
Tyson was there. People love Mike Tyson regardless, right, right,
that's what they say.

Speaker 4 (36:33):
Don't talk politics and religion. Right.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
Oh it's hard though, Like if my man was a supporter,
I don't know if I could feel it.

Speaker 9 (36:40):
Man, what if he said he'd be like, look, this
is just this is not who I am as a
It's not my character, but it is.

Speaker 4 (36:47):
They have views that I.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Like if he got a pardon, Yeah, then what then what?

Speaker 4 (36:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Because I do know people who got parties.

Speaker 4 (37:01):
We know people that got partners.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Right, Kodak Black, We know a couple of people.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Okay, all right, Well anyway, you guys will be back tomorrow.
I have a great rest of your Tuesday. It's way up,
and of course this is your show, so you have
the last word.

Speaker 15 (37:14):
This is my opinion about Sloop Dog, Rick bloss Nellie
and Soldier Boy performing for the Trump inauguration.

Speaker 7 (37:24):
I feel that it is.

Speaker 15 (37:26):
Supporting all of Trump's policies. When you perform for any candidate,
and I feel that they've sold out their community for money.

Speaker 11 (37:39):
Yeah, this is enosa.

Speaker 7 (37:40):
I would like to shine a light on my phone
Robert Hughes.

Speaker 6 (37:43):
Today is his birthday. He's a correctional officer.

Speaker 7 (37:47):
Just had a baby November the thirtieth. I want to
shine a light on my fun here in New York.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Thank you, have a great day.

Speaker 5 (37:57):
