And when we come back, we have your yee tea
and Angie Martinez sat down with money Bag Yo and
he talked about cheating on Ari and how he got
back in all right, never heard this before.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
It's way up at Angela, ye yo.

Speaker 10 (07:12):
She's about to blow the lid ab off this, but
just get it. Angela's feeling that. Yee te Come and

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Yes, it is way up at Angela.

Speaker 16 (07:20):
Yee.

Speaker 5 (07:20):
I'm Angela ye. Jasmine is here and Mano is here
and we're doing.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Nina ye t. Let's start off with money Bag yeo.

Speaker 5 (07:27):
He recently sat down with Angie Martinez on her in
Real Life podcast and discussed a lot of different things.
One of those things was his experiences with Ari.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Apparently he did cheat on her.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
I know all the time on social media, people are
always trying to put things together and weigh in on
their relationship.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Here is what he had to say.

Speaker 14 (07:49):
I made some mistakes. You already know what I'm I'm
getting there with it.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
How does she handle that?

Speaker 14 (07:53):
You know? She ain't take that will? And it got
crazy until you it gets crazy. You're like, it's different
like when you do something. And then he's like when
you have the person like called him and try to
tell them me eything like so that made it even
worse on her life. But I kept it, GETO, I
just kept it you like, yeah, you know you know
I did tell you I'm sorry, baby. You know what
I'm saying. I just I made mistakes. You know what

(08:14):
I'm saying. That was then all right?

Speaker 5 (08:16):
Well, he goes on to explain that he was indeed, truly,
truly sorry about the cheating that he did.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Are you sorry? Because people gotts say I'm sorry, I
really sorry.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
Got caught.

Speaker 14 (08:30):
I really come from a puer place. You know what
I'm saying. I come from a puer place when I
say that. You know what I'm saying, Like, I apologize
and I just want to you know what I'm saying.
I want to work through it and get through it,
and she with it, and she hilping me with my
you know what I'm saying, hilping me work through it.
That's why I rock with her so tough, because he's like,
I understand you. You know what I'm saying. I don't
want don't let it happen again on lit this you

(08:50):
feel me like this ain't gonna be our life. Don't
don't take me up through there. But I do understand.

Speaker 5 (08:56):
Yeah, okay, And you know, sometimes it's hard too, because
once you let people know. I feel like it's hard
when someone cheats on you and you feel like you
might break up, and then you tell people and then
everyone's like, oh, she got back together with him. It's
hard when you're in the public eye and things happen
and then everybody has something to say about it.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
Right, everybody's so judgmental. But the thing is everybody's going
through some of the things.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
I know you did not talk everybody's judgmental place. You are,
mister judgmental, a per place.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
He comes from a per place, and not feel him.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
A pure place. That's what he said, come from a purplace.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
I respect him and take a lot for him to
get up there and really admit his false and take accountability.

Speaker 6 (09:37):
People be so judgmental. They're going through the same thing.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
I don't you cheat, I get to cheat?

Speaker 6 (09:42):
WHOA pay that? That's what I'm saying. You gotta stop.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
Okay. I think it's a dependent on how it came
out to.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
If somebody calling me, I get to cheat back, But
it's the audacity. Yes, yes, I come to me and
I will also cheat. I don't like that for you, Okay.

Speaker 4 (10:03):
I don't know if I believe in cheating back, because
now we.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Both are and then he gets back, and then you
get to cheat back, and well you just wanted to cheat.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Then you're just in an open relationship.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
What's the next door we're going to discuss?

Speaker 4 (10:15):
You want to move on.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Let's talk about Sizza. She did a cover story for
l magazine. She talked about a lot of different things.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
What you know is that the story the story.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
Want to talk about the photo shooting season, We're gonna
get to that part. You want to talk about just relax,
all right? But she also talks about having anxiety, and
she said some people think that her having anxiety is
her just being shy or struggling with self esteement. That
it's an act. She said, I'm just dead ass a person.
Everybody else has feelings and fears. Why would not I

(10:46):
be scared to be famous? Would you be scared to
be famous because I'm famous? I'm not allowed to be scared.
I wasn't born famous. I had regular, quiet ass parents
from a small town like everybody else. And I get
to some point, I'm supposed to acclimate to all of this.
So it's not an act that she's shy the way
that she is and that she has anxiety. She also
talks about getting a Brazilian butt lift. She said I
always wanted a really fat ass with less gym time,

(11:09):
and she said it was her choice to get surgery
and no one else's. She said, I didn't succumb to
industry pressure. I succume to my own eyes in the
mirror and being like, no, I need small ass, that's right,
said I.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Treat my butt like a purse. Yeah, MAO loves it.
Wait to talk about this.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
He actually picked this story. There's a lot more to it.
That was like a brief part.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Of the interview.

Speaker 6 (11:33):
That's the that's the story, Okay.

Speaker 4 (11:35):

Speaker 5 (17:20):
Yes, you want to talk about Scissa. She recently did
an interview with Elle where she talked about her BBL

because she wanted to do it for herself. She looked
in the mirror and said, I'm about to do this.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
No, please stop.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
So we want to get your thoughts on that. Eight
hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is the number.
We're just talking about plastic surgery. What are your thoughts
on getting things done? But would you get done or
do you feel like you're against it?

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Go to the gym? You know some people will tell
you just go to the gym. Doesn't always work.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Guys.

Speaker 4 (18:18):
Eight hundred nine fifty one fifty call us up.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Yeah, she back at it. It bring in the Way
up with Angela Yee is on?

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Yes, it is the way you put Angela Yee And
you know iHeartRadio Access Day is today. There's over seven
hundred deals in experiences this is today only and one
thing you could win is you could have a chance
to see TLC, Shaggy and Vogue and Sean Kingston on tour.
So that could be really exciting. Go to iHeartRadio Access
date dot com. I love all TLC. First of all,

(18:49):
Shaggy and Vogue. By the way, I just want to
say in Vogue, I used to absolutely love and Vogue,
I still do.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Hold on to your love.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
My first mistake was but there's over seven hundred prizes
on the website. Oh okay, okay, so just make sure
y'all check for that again. iHeartRadio access date dot Com.
Now let's give it. Get back to Maino's love. Butler
now says it was in l magazine and she talked
about getting surgery. She got a BBL and she talks

(19:20):
about her album too, and she said, I treat my
butt like a purse. It's just there to enhance it
whatever else. And that's why I pay for it, because
it works all by itself. She wanted a fat ass
with less gym time.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
All right.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
So we were talking about surgery, and I feel like
we all have this thing where we look in the
mirror and we're like, man, I need to fix this.
I want to fix that. And we can fix it
in pictures on social media, but in real life.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
We all look at ourselves and seque certain things about ourselves.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
Yeah, and sometimes we over criticize ourselves.

Speaker 6 (19:49):
Yes, we do you know?

Speaker 5 (19:51):
And I feel like nobody's immune from that. But I
imagine being able to look at the mirror and be like,
I love what I see.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
You look in the mirror and and I look at
my body and see the spaces between my tattoos. This
is why I constantly get tattoos to cover the space.
It's no, it's a sickness because I only really see
the spaces.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
Really, Yes, I like your tattoos right now, I'm gonna
look at the space.

Speaker 6 (20:15):
You can't really, you can't really notice the spaces.

Speaker 4 (20:18):
You get one on your face.

Speaker 6 (20:19):
No.

Speaker 14 (20:20):
Never.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
The thing is that's that's that shows us something about
how we look at ourselves.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
We just look at the negative.

Speaker 6 (20:29):
We look for fault.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
All right, Well let's see what you guys think about surgery. Joyce,
what are your thoughts on getting plastic surgery.

Speaker 17 (20:37):
Well, I personally to be against plastic surgery, but I
feel like I said, only if it's needed. If it's
not needed, it's no need to do it.

Speaker 12 (20:48):
And for people to.

Speaker 17 (20:48):
Get gastro and all this other stuff, I feel like,
what you need to do the beginning part is they
have you do all the stuff. Basically, you lose and
weight before you start getting the surgery to lose the weight.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah, you have to listen the weight.

Speaker 17 (21:03):
Right, So why through all that? If you want to
do that, then you might.

Speaker 15 (21:08):
They gave you.

Speaker 18 (21:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (21:11):
Different people's bodies are different too, so sometimes it's hard
to keep that weight off. And there's a lot of
different to be a health emergency.

Speaker 17 (21:21):
Okay, that's understandable too, But that's what I mean. It's
it's medically needed.

Speaker 19 (21:25):
Okay, cancer, I am because for what what you need
all that for?

Speaker 17 (21:35):
But I got a big but it caused this problem.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
But what if you didn't have any? But how would
you feel about that? What if you were that's what
they make for?

Speaker 6 (21:44):
Okay, you got a big, but are you.

Speaker 17 (21:46):
Sna like I said, I gotta get I had in
plent but I took them out because they were being
rejected by my body.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
Okay Experienceah, you said you have cancer.

Speaker 17 (22:03):
Yeah, I've been fighting three for them to cancer. So
I can understand if you want through something medically, yeah,
you could get the surgery.

Speaker 12 (22:12):
But if it's not, then leave it alone. Be happy
what God gave.

Speaker 4 (22:16):
This, Okay.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
And sometimes people want to and has things and they
feel like they need it from just a visual thing
and even a self esteem place, you know, like sis,
it felt like she wanted that for herself.

Speaker 12 (22:28):
Well, I mean you the one that got the mental issue.

Speaker 6 (22:32):
That's a mental.

Speaker 12 (22:34):
Why personally because I mean, if you're not happy with
what you have, well you need to see canseling first
before you decide you want to become some kind of
surgery in Jens. What with people out here?

Speaker 17 (22:48):
Well, I mean that's what it is because me.

Speaker 18 (22:51):
Personally, like I said, but I'm going through call a
mental issue.

Speaker 12 (22:54):
You're going through a whole lot as a woman you
want but if a man, if you want to do
that to impress a man, then honey, you don't.

Speaker 20 (23:06):
You don't need to do all that.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
You got to.

Speaker 12 (23:08):
Impress yourself before you impress somebody.

Speaker 5 (23:11):
Okay, thank you for sharing with us, and we're glad
that you're okay from everything.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
You've had to deal with.

Speaker 12 (23:18):
Thank you all right?

Speaker 4 (23:20):
Hey Cassandra, how are you?

Speaker 10 (23:23):
How are you?

Speaker 17 (23:23):
Guys?

Speaker 4 (23:27):
Hi? What are your thoughts on plastic salary?

Speaker 12 (23:31):
I recommend this. I did talk about ten years ago.

Speaker 19 (23:35):
I wanted to feel good about myself. I wanted to
look a certain way in my clothes. So I did
it for myself. I wish I had gotten some, but.

Speaker 15 (23:43):
But I didn't.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
So you just got you just got the tummy talk.

Speaker 12 (23:46):
I just got the summy tucks.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
It maintaining.

Speaker 5 (23:50):
And what advice would you give to people who are like, Okay,
I want to do that.

Speaker 19 (23:54):
Honestly, A couple of months ago I went to a
surgeon for consultationhouldn't because I was thinking of getting libel
and he told me I shouldn't.

Speaker 15 (24:04):
He said, that is the best work he's ever seen.

Speaker 19 (24:07):
Well profession m Yeah, because I've always worked out anyway,
so it's been well.

Speaker 15 (24:16):
Kept for the past ten years.

Speaker 19 (24:19):
And honestly, my advice for people is, don't do it
because society is doing it.

Speaker 15 (24:24):
Don't do it for a man, do it for yourself.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
All right, I left that I did it, so h well,
thank you Cassandra.

Speaker 12 (24:32):
Thank you so much, and have a blesseday you guys.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
Thank you? All right?

Speaker 3 (24:37):
Well, Ma, no, we did your topic.

Speaker 5 (24:43):
About guys getting stuff done. Oh come on, you know,
guys begin ebbs they be doing not Chersey Santana has
a BBL.

Speaker 4 (24:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
They get their nipples adjusted, they get their boobs removed,
like you have a little bit.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Of man heard I've heard of abs and lightful men
getting six packs and stuff like that.

Speaker 6 (25:06):
Of a man.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
Just adjusted when you have to get the you know,
you know some men kind of have mam boobs, right,
so you suck it out and then have to adjust
the nipple placement.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Yeah, I know that. That is definitely a real thing
some guys have. Yeah. Okay, well we know you with it.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
So I'm not with that. I'm with understanding what Sissy
was talking about. I like that for her.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
You just like looking at her.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
But I think she looks good.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
Okay, all right, but when we come back, we have yet.
And speaking of which, let's talk about Lizzo. She is
sick and tired of y'all having things to say about
her body. Will tell you what she had to say
on social media, and even thinking about giving up the
music game. All right, it's way up at the Angela Yee, the.

Speaker 10 (25:48):
Rooms from industry shade to all the gossips out Angela's
feeling that.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
All right, It's way up at the Angela Yea.

Speaker 5 (25:57):
I'm Angela Yee, and Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is
he yes, I'm my own brand, and Mayno's hair no
mana mana thought we were doing Sisson again, but we did that.
We yet we talked about her bbl okay and her
L magazine article you love talking about Sis.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
And.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
She did have one of the best shows I've seen.
I went to go see her perform at the Garden
and I will.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Say it was She's a dope artist.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
She got her whole album this no skips and listen,
the young girls love her, teeny boppers, the tweens, the
teens and adults, but the young girls really.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Like her, and all ethnicities too. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (26:38):
By the way, all right, well, it's also iHeart Radio
access day to day. So I just want to make
sure we acknowledge that you can win a lot of
different things when it comes to the artists, the personalities
up here.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Experiences one of them.

Speaker 5 (26:51):
You can meet up with Ryan Seacrest in Vegas at
our twenty twenty three iHeart Radio Music Festival. If you've
never been to the iHeart Radio Music Festival, it is
quite the experience, all different genres of music all in
one weekend, and it's one of my favorite things that
we do up here. So if you can have that
opportunity to meet up with Ryan Seacrest and go to
the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
You better take it, Okay. I was there when I'm
Big Boy last year.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Oh nice. So we did some of the hosting for
the live stream.

Speaker 5 (27:19):
But you can go to iHeartRadio Access Day dot com.
That's iHeartRadio Access Day dot com. Now let's get into
this yet. Lizo was on social media and I hate
that people give her such a hard time all the time,
Like I don't even understand it. Lizzo literally is minding
her business, putting out great music, loving herself, loving herself,

(27:42):
also a role model to a lot of people. And
she went online. She said, I just logged on and
the app, and this is the type of ish I
see about me on a daily basis. It's really starting
to make me hate the world. Then someone in the
comments that I eat lots of fast food. I literally
stopped eating fast food years ago. I'm tired of explaining
myself all the time, and I just want to get
on this app without seeing my name in some bs.

(28:04):
Somebody had said, how was Lizzie still this fat when
she's constantly moving this much on stage?

Speaker 4 (28:08):
I wonder what she must be eating.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
I saw that nasty, nasty, nasty, disgusting person.

Speaker 6 (28:16):
People.

Speaker 5 (28:16):
Then somebody said, I don't think Lizzo wants to be smaller,
yet if she did, she would be it's her brand.
If she's working with nutritionists, they're probably showing how how
to eat healthy and maintain her size. She said, y'all
really need to touch grass. I'm not trying to be fat.
I'm not trying to be smaller. I'm literally just trying
to live and be healthy. This is what my body
looks like, even when I'm eating super clean and working out.

(28:37):
Y'all speak on you know nothing about, and I'm starting
to get heated. Also to the people who haven't had
an original thought are fresh air in years? Being fat
isn't my brand. Being fat is what my body looks like.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
That's it. That's all.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
My brand is feel good music. My brand is championing
all people. My brand is a black girl liberation. So
she said she's always led with her.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Talent and y'all really need to touch grass.

Speaker 5 (28:59):
Yeah, you know, And she said, y'all know how close
I'd be to giving up on everyone and quitting and
enjoying my money and my man on an effing farm.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
And she said, I hate it here.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
So hopefully I mean look, I love Lizzo as an artist,
I will say, and I just posted part of the keynote.
She gave a keynote as suth By Southwest last year,
and I did the fireside chat with her the Q
and a part of it.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
And I love Lizzo.

Speaker 5 (29:24):
I've you know, seen her for perform from when he
first signed to Atlantic.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
Here's a little piece of that fireside chat.

Speaker 8 (29:32):
Big girls have always had value, but I don't think
society has seen the value in bigger bodies. So by
just being myself and being extremely talented and iconic and
beautiful and super special, I think, okay, it has shown
the world that you know, I am valuable, I am worthy.

Speaker 6 (29:51):
I didn't need to prove that to nobody.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
I just am.

Speaker 6 (29:53):
And so what this show is doing.

Speaker 8 (29:55):
I wanted to lift these women up and show the
world they're valuable, they're worthy, and they bring money. Maybe
they bring in coins and duckets, so we need representation
a sap.

Speaker 5 (30:04):
Yeah, she had that show Watch Out for the Big
Girls on Prime and those women were dancing. She had
them there at her keynote as well. But I want
to say, after I did that, I saw some of
the nasty things that people were saying on So, I mean,
people say stuff about me all the time too, and
the stuff that they were saying about her I was
a yellow disgusting, like for real.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
I don't understand why her confidence bothers people so much.
And also people say all this stuff on social media.
You see them and as they ask for about.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
I love you.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
Yeah right, well that is your yet And when we
come back, we have under the radar. These are the
stories that are not necessarily in the front pages of
the papers, but they are super important and sometimes just funny.
So let's get into it. It's way up with angelouee.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
News.

Speaker 10 (30:54):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Yes, it is way I put in Angela yea, I'm
Angela yee. Manos in the building.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
And Jasmine for the Jasmine brand is here. Yes, he
loves his new Manos. All right.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
Well, it's also iHeartRadio Access Day. There's a lot going
on today. Now this is for one day only, right,
over seven hundred deals and experiences today.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
Only one thing you could win is a one on
one with me.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
I'm an tell ye okay, So if you guys want
to go ahead, to iHeartRadio Access Day dot com. Then
you can enter for your chance to win that and
I'm excited for it. You know, we're gonna have a time, baby,
We're gonna live.

Speaker 6 (31:35):
One on one consists of like it's just like you
and the on air.

Speaker 4 (31:40):
No, it's not on the air. It's just me spending
some time with her.

Speaker 6 (31:43):
Yeah, i'd what's la.

Speaker 5 (31:47):
House, Chelsea House. It's a one on one. That's all
you need to know, all right, So come on, let's
get it. iHeartRadio Access Day. You know this month, by
the way, Joe Biden has also uh also gave a
proclamation for a National Immigrant Heritage Month. Okay, okay, America
is more than a place. It is an idea. It's

(32:08):
the idea that everyone is created equal and deserved to
be treated equally throughout their lives, and that everyone should
have a fair shot and an equal chance to get ahead.
That is what has drawn people to our shores for centuries.
It's what makes us who we are, and that very
idea of America has been advanced by immigrants from every
part of the world. My ancestors and yours. Their dreams
built America. And during National Immigrant Heritage Month, we celebrate

(32:30):
their courage.

Speaker 6 (32:33):
The whole speech was kept.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
Well, this is what it says on the White House.

Speaker 6 (32:37):
Dot Govka kept that promise.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
All right.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
Well, and that's why we have to make sure that
we are the ones that celebrate our ancestry and why.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
We are here main not talking at talk today.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
But that's right, ma, I mean, you're absolutely right, yeah,
X all right.

Speaker 5 (32:55):
Today's also the start of Pride Month, and we've been
talking a lot about what's been going on, like with
Target having backlash from their Pride collection having to pull
some of those items from stores in the face of
customer backlash. We see what's been going on with a
lot of different things. Bud Light yeh has been having
some issues for having a trans woman as their spokesperson.

Speaker 3 (33:16):
Yep, a lot of mixed, mixed reactions.

Speaker 5 (33:18):
They said, yeah, that actually lowered their Salespeople are like
boycotting them.

Speaker 6 (33:22):
Well.

Speaker 5 (33:22):
Walmart said they're not going to make any changes to
their LGBTQ plus friendly merchandise in honor of Pride Month.
They said, we have merchandise that we sell all year
that supports different groups. In this particular case, we haven't
changed anything in our assortment. That's the Walmart see chief
merchandising Officer Latrice Watkins. Okay, all right, so they said
Walmart hasn't experienced any threats over its Pride theme merchandise.

(33:46):
And she said, in this particular case, when we think
about security, we have not done anything in particular differently
related to security in our stores. They have forty five
hundred locations nationwide. They have ones's for infants saying things
like proud love, love my two moms, and love will
Win and yes, so I love.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
The shirt that says some people are gay, get over it.

Speaker 5 (34:06):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was some of the controversy at Target,
those T shirts, you know, gay af and woke up
gay again.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
It's another shirt. So there you have it.

Speaker 3 (34:18):
You can find those shirts and there's no issues with
that at Walmart.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
So happy Pride Month. By the way, you know it
started fifty three years ago. Pride Month.

Speaker 5 (34:26):
All right, we're still going strong and people still have
issues with it. Yep, Like, just mind your business if
it don't affect you, if you're not you know what,
if you are gay, yes, you know, come on, let's
go LGBTQIA plus people. You should feel just as safe, yep,
you know, as a human being. All right, and let's
talk about annual income. Do you know how much you
need to make to fall in America's lower middle and

(34:48):
upper class?

Speaker 14 (34:48):
No?

Speaker 5 (34:49):
Okay, So lower income households have incomes less than forty
eight five hundred dollars. Upper income the median is incomes
greater than one hundred and forty five thousand, five hundred.
So middle income households are in between that forty eight thousand,
one hundred and forty five thousand dollar range. But of course,
geography also plays a very important part and where you

(35:10):
fall on the scale, okay as well.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
But against we should move to Jackson, Tennessee, because it's
nineteen percent cheaper than the average.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Yes, in San Francisco, Oakland, Hey, that's about thirty two
percent more expensive.

Speaker 6 (35:22):
Yeah, mostly upper class.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Anything above one hundred and forty five thousand. I feel
like in New York just might be different. Yeah, it's
like middle class. Yeah, but again it is very dependent
on where you live.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
All right, and that is you're under the radar.

Speaker 5 (35:38):
We do have the Way Up mixed at the top
of the hour, plus we have Monique from Love after
Lock Up joining us.

Speaker 4 (35:43):
You met her?

Speaker 3 (35:43):
May no, I do Yes, she is going to give
us an update on what's going on with her and Derek.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
It's been a lot of drama on social media. I
feel like from love after Lockup, they might be the
most talked about couple. So they broke up, Yes, they
were engaged. They broke up, but we're gonna see what
the status is as of now. He was posted up
on ig Live with another woman.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
They came in here and all that love was just
falling all over the place. It was just dripping all
off both of them, and.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
That everything tough times wow love all right, it's way

Now let's talk about Diddy. He is suing Diagio for
a racial discrimination. Diagio co owns Delion with him, and
he's saying that they failed to market Delion on par
with their other brands, which includes Don Julio and Casamigos.

(38:11):
He filed this lawsuit yesterday, saying that Diazio neecapped Delion
sales growth for nearly a decade because a company considered
it a black brand and marketed to only urban customers.
He also alleges that Diagio neglected marketing for Sirak, which is,
of course, you know, his Vacca brand that he also
co owns with Diagio.

Speaker 4 (38:31):
Now Tekuilla sales have grown in the US.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
You know, it feels like a lot of people have
to kill the companies at this point.

Speaker 10 (38:37):
Now.

Speaker 5 (38:37):
According to Diddy, he says a Diazio exec told him
that if he were Martha Stewart, then his brands would
be more widespread. As far as Diagio, they have denied
the allegations. They told CNN in a statement that it
will vigorously defend ourselves in the appropriate forum. They said,
for more than fifteen years, we've had a productive and
mutually beneficial relationship with Combs on various business ventures. Now

(39:00):
he's saying that he got unequal treatment, even though his
contact with Dazio requires equality. He also says the CEO
of Diagio has shown a reluctance to treat black partners
like Holmes fairly, which contradicts his supposed commitment to diversity
and equality.

Speaker 6 (39:14):
I'm interested that though.

Speaker 3 (39:16):
So I worked back before I started the site, I
worked at a wine and spirits wholesaler's organization. I was
a marketing director and we worked with Dazio a lot.
Just that industry is very white and very male dominated.
It was very few black people period in any like
regular jobs unless it was like marketing, like my job
or HR. And you've never seen many black brands in
terms of like spirits at all.

Speaker 6 (39:37):
Right, Yeah, market certain brands directly to the urban Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:41):
You know, he feels like these people people behind it
were not black.

Speaker 14 (39:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (39:44):
He feels like it's sabotaged, you know.

Speaker 5 (39:46):
And Diazure has also faced similar accusations of racial discrimination
from other black figures and the entertainment and Spirits Industry
for Rail sued them for breach of contract at Beeny Major.
They said she's the first black blender at a major
distillery of also accused them of persistent racial hostility last year.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
Diago is huge too, Yeah they are.

Speaker 5 (40:09):
Yes, they do a lot more yea and serrak Yeah,
and a whole lot more. I know, we have to
deal with Diagio a lots, all right, So we will
keep you guys updated on that as we follow that story. Now,
Lotto has teased a collaboration coming with Cardi B. She
said she'll be releasing a remix of her track put.

Speaker 4 (40:26):
It on the Floor.

Speaker 6 (40:27):
Okay, rip off the plastic now.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
I want to tell y'all this on some organic ness.
Mano loves that song. I mean I love that song too.
But on the day we were listening to the mix
and the way up mix and Mano was like, this.

Speaker 4 (40:40):
Musk, this song is fired it.

Speaker 6 (40:43):
I like it a lot though.

Speaker 5 (40:44):
All right, So that song has gotten a lot of
attention from people. A lot of people love that song.
So shout out to Lotto for that. But she posted
put It on the Floor again Friday at I Am
Cardi B.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
We should rip Mano out the plastic too.

Speaker 5 (40:56):
Oh listen, every single day Mano rips his close out
the plastic. He does so rich straight out the plastic
for sure. Remember he came in here snapped, and we
ripped him out of his snap up.

Speaker 6 (41:11):
Salts on here. It's crazy. I just don't know we.

Speaker 5 (41:14):
Did snap you all right, Well, that is your yee
t And when we come back, we'll talk about breast milk.
It's way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
Ye back at it. Bring the way up with Angela.

Speaker 14 (41:27):
Ye is on.

Speaker 4 (41:28):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (41:29):
Its way up with Angela yee. I'm Angela yee and
Maino is here. Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
I'm here now.

Speaker 5 (41:36):
Whenever Jasmine is not here, Mano always says it's because
she is breastfeeding. Yeah, because you have a daughter who
is almost two. Yes, and no judgment to anyone that's breastfeeds.
But I'm not breastfeeding anymore. That stopped a long time ago.

Speaker 6 (41:49):
But really that's what I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (41:50):
I just go along with it and may no, you
know I'm not breastfeeding.

Speaker 6 (41:52):
I apolo John.

Speaker 5 (41:53):
Well, we're talking about this because Josh Hart went on
social media.

Speaker 4 (41:56):
New York Knicks guard. He also has twins.

Speaker 5 (41:59):
He's new father of twins, and he posted have y'all
ever tasted y'all significant others breast milk? Asking for a friend,
and then he responded to his former New Orleans Pelicans
team a CJ.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
McCollum.

Speaker 5 (42:12):
He said, not gonna lie to you, bro, It's better,
okay than almond milk.

Speaker 4 (42:19):
Or all right?

Speaker 5 (42:22):
So I guess this brings up the question, and Stephen A.
Smith said, my brother, what the hell? I will be
discussing this on the Stephen A. Smith Show today. Need
a few hours to process. And Josh Hart responded, bro,
I know every new dad wondered. All right, and so
people are asking about this now. I did a deep
dive and here's what I found from Shape magazine. What

(42:46):
science says about potential benefits of breast milk for adults.
You figure it's good for babies, maybe it's good for
adults too, write and so they said, there's limited research
on that, but there is some evidence that drinking your
own breast milk could fend off infections or mild illnesses,
and that when used topically, it can offer wound healing properties.

(43:08):
But they said they're lacking a lot of research on
this topic. There is a twenty nineteen scientific review that
looked at some of the unexpected uses for breast milk
and adults, like helping you with ezema with dermatitis. It
said it may very well have the power to ease
those conditions according to researches, and they also found I
hate that we're going to talk about this again, but

(43:29):
when human breast milk was applied to the eyes of
infants who have pink eye, oh lord, it actually helped.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
Alist If you fighten the baby's eye the baby gets
pink eye, you can.

Speaker 6 (43:40):
It can help with the chin situation.

Speaker 4 (43:42):
I know you were, I know that's where you were going.
This was coming.

Speaker 3 (43:45):
I think I still breastfed a while. I mean I
did breastfeed, you know, and I wish I would have
tasted it. I never tasted it.

Speaker 4 (43:52):
You can still still have breast you never tried it.
I never tried. I have some of the freezer.

Speaker 6 (43:58):
You don't have huge squeezed.

Speaker 4 (43:59):
No, I can't. I haven't breastfit and in a while.

Speaker 3 (44:02):
But you know, after you stop for a while, it's
still still you still can squeeze and super.

Speaker 4 (44:07):
I don't think I think I think it's dry.

Speaker 21 (44:09):
Now.

Speaker 5 (44:09):
Another thing that they did say in this study, because
the thing is, is this beneficial for adults? Right, So
they said, the breast milk is really made and designed
for babies who are very different from adults developmentally. So
they said, I have no doubt about the benefits of
breast milk during infancy and early childhood, even when coming
from donor milk, But supplementing with adults is a whole
other ballgame.

Speaker 4 (44:29):
A lot more.

Speaker 5 (44:29):
Research is needed to ensure its safety and effectiveness.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
And so, yeah, who wants to participate in that kind
of study, Probably very few people. When Josh Heart does well, yeah,
well he's already participating.

Speaker 4 (44:40):
So yeah.

Speaker 5 (44:40):
So, and they do have like pills and stuff like
that and supplemental breast milk and all of that.

Speaker 4 (44:47):
So I don't really know.

Speaker 5 (44:48):
But the bottom line is tasting your own breast milk
is or using it topically on your baby skin from
time to time is likely fine and could even have
some benefits, they said, But I do not believe we
are at the point where we can recom men he
win breast milk supplements for adult consumption.

Speaker 3 (45:03):
I don't want to drink anyone else's breast milk stick
with oat milk. But one thing, I see how they're
really healthy though drinking cow's milk.

Speaker 5 (45:11):
I feel like, how is that in any way? Listen,
we're not baby cows.

Speaker 4 (45:16):
Were not listening.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
I tried after we took rain off of my breast milk.
We tried at some point later on, we tried regular milk,
and she could not handle it. She broke out and hives.
Her whole stomach was rich, she had gas. She just
could not hand. And I wasn't surprised. They always say,
you know, black and brown babies are lactose intolerant, mostly so.

Speaker 4 (45:34):
And a lot of.

Speaker 3 (45:39):
She I mean she, I mean she really it was
awful for her.

Speaker 6 (45:41):
I'm glad I grew up not liking milk.

Speaker 15 (45:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (45:44):
I couldn't really drink. I wasn't the type of person
to have like a glass of milk. I do like
ice cream.

Speaker 5 (45:49):
I like ice cream, but they have a lot of
great dairy free ice cream, and you know, I have
dairy free ice cream in the house.

Speaker 14 (45:54):
I like.

Speaker 3 (45:55):
I like being in ice cream, all right, So.

Speaker 5 (45:57):
Shout out to everybody who drinks oat milk and milk
and breast milk and the babies. Okay, all right, Well
that was just something that we had to do a
deep dive. And when we come back, we have Monique
joining us from Love After lock Up and Life After
lock Up. You know, she and Derek were a pretty
well known couple on that show that always went viral.
We'll find out where she is now. She wanted to

(46:18):
give us an update from the last time that they
were on the show.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
Are they broken up?

Speaker 5 (46:22):
You know, what's going on with these allegations of abuse,
so on and so forth.

Speaker 4 (46:26):
This way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (46:31):
You what's up?

Speaker 4 (46:34):
It's way up with the Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (46:35):
I'm Angela Yee and new Mana is here and Jazzmine

Speaker 4 (46:49):

So what does that mean? Bills are due? Mortgage, apartment yeah,
mortgage rent?

Speaker 5 (46:59):
Yeah, I don't know where my current notice, it's just
mine comes out automatically.

Speaker 6 (47:02):
You know.

Speaker 5 (47:02):
They say that we don't put our stuff on auto payment,
but that's one thing I do.

Speaker 4 (47:06):
Auto pay.

Speaker 5 (47:07):
I'll forget if I aughto pay that and my cell
phone bill. But everything else, I don't everything.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
I auto pay everything. Mortgage, yeah, everything, not my mortgage.
I actually have to pay that. Yeah, I have a couple.

Speaker 3 (47:20):
Your aunt, I got a I got a couple of
mortgages rights.

Speaker 5 (47:24):
Paid off, right, I got my Airbnb and I got
my house in Brooklyn, the Brownstone I bought.

Speaker 4 (47:31):

Speaker 4 (49:48):
Hey, Monique, how you doing?

Speaker 20 (49:49):
Hey, I'm good. How are you all?

Speaker 4 (49:52):
I'm good good, But we really mean, how are you doing?

Speaker 5 (49:55):
Because you've been through a lot since we had you
and Derek up here.

Speaker 18 (49:58):
Yeah, well, okay, trying to find peace within it's a
choice thing.

Speaker 4 (50:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (50:03):
I mean, there's a lot of different things that have
been happening online, so you know, let's address some of them. First,
I saw that they were saying that you guys are
no longer on the show, that you've gotten quote unquote
fired from Love After lock Up Life After lock Up?

Speaker 4 (50:19):
Is that true or false?

Speaker 20 (50:20):
We technically never got fired.

Speaker 18 (50:22):
It was more so like we were no longer together,
so we're not on the show, So we never got fired.

Speaker 5 (50:29):
Okay, And I know you guys had broken up gotten
back together.

Speaker 4 (50:33):
Do you think this is it now?

Speaker 20 (50:35):
Yes, I definitely think this is it.

Speaker 4 (50:38):
So what was the final straw from you?

Speaker 15 (50:40):
For you?

Speaker 18 (50:41):
I would say the final straw for me was just
more and so it was a really toxic relationship. I
was out of Cleveland for like four months, and you know,
he has a damn one addiction. It got to the
point to like where he was stealing money from me,
and it was a messive violence going on both of
us in the relationship. So I just started to feel like,

(51:05):
you know, this relationship no longer like serves me or
I'm not happy, So I just decided to leave.

Speaker 5 (51:12):
You know, question when you came up here, right, we
felt like and even Meno said, yeah, they really love
each other. What at that time do you feel like
you were still trying to cover for certain things and
try to make it seem like things were good or
were their problems then or did that not happen till later.

Speaker 20 (51:30):
At that point of the relationship, we really were good.

Speaker 18 (51:33):
It was some things that happening prior in the relationship
that we were getting over, but at that point we
were in a good space.

Speaker 4 (51:42):
When is the last time you spoke to him.

Speaker 20 (51:44):
The last time I spoke to him was two days ago.

Speaker 4 (51:46):
Okay, and what was that like?

Speaker 18 (51:48):
Honestly, Like he called me, and you know, there is
a type of person like he'll call me act like
nothing ever happened.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
That's like sometimes I like guys.

Speaker 18 (51:58):
Yeah, yeah, So he called me like talking and laughing
on the phone, and he told me.

Speaker 20 (52:04):
Like he didn't like my blonde hair. But I'm just like, Okay,
that's like what you call me for.

Speaker 5 (52:10):
Okay, you're taking his cause and having conversations with him.

Speaker 18 (52:14):
No, I'm not still really taking his calls. Like he
calls me private, which I don't know why. Yeah, he
changed his phone rist so he'll call me private and
sometimes I answer, sometimes I don't.

Speaker 5 (52:27):
So he was with a new woman, So let's talk
about that situation. Is that like his new girlfriend? And
is that somebody that you knew he was dealing with
when you've caught him cheating on you in the past
when I loved Cleveland.

Speaker 18 (52:41):
Later on the night, he was in a club with
some girl that's the same girl he playing. He let
her that day. He told me like she's nobody. He
told me she's one of the many girls that he's
dealing with right now.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
So why is he still calling you?

Speaker 20 (52:56):
I have no idea why he still calls me to
act like nothing happen.

Speaker 3 (53:00):
How did you find out about his new this new woman?
How did you find out they were allegedly together, like
in a relationship or whatever.

Speaker 18 (53:07):
He told me she was part of the entourage when
he got caught with her.

Speaker 20 (53:10):
In the club.

Speaker 5 (53:11):
We're talking to Monique, you know her from a love
after lock up and life after lock up with Derek.
So if you wanted to get back together with you
and made an effort, is that something that you're open to.

Speaker 18 (53:23):
No, I don't think so, because we're like really at
a point of no return.

Speaker 20 (53:26):
It's just both of our ends. We both said and
the crazy things to one another.

Speaker 5 (53:32):
So you know, I was in the best like and
I said, you've been you've been outside, So what are
you up to?

Speaker 14 (53:41):
Nothing?

Speaker 18 (53:41):
Really, I'm just more so like trying to find peace, happiness,
getting back to my own self because I was so
unhappy in that relationship for so long.

Speaker 20 (53:52):
It's just me trying to get my life back together.

Speaker 4 (53:55):
Yeah, you really didn't look happy.

Speaker 5 (53:56):
I'm gonna be honest, like you live here or just
just like watching this show and when he proposed, he's
looking for the ring you in the other room, seeing
stuff in his phone.

Speaker 4 (54:05):
To me, it's like, okay.

Speaker 18 (54:07):
Yeah, when we were telling that part of the show,
we really had a lot of things going on behind
the scenes. And then it was like, when he proposed
to me, it wasn't a teenuine moment for me because
production like ruined that moment to me because they told me, well,
she claims he accidentally told me like he was not
a propose. So that's why really like a real reaction

(54:27):
to it.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
Do you feel like he really loved you?

Speaker 20 (54:31):
I feel like at one point he did really love me.

Speaker 4 (54:34):
And you really loved him for sure.

Speaker 5 (54:36):
Yeah, now what about Okay, his sister had said previously,
Elizabeth has said that he beats you, and then there
were some allegations that you guys had against each other,
and you said when we first started this conversation that
you both have put hands on each other, right, So
can you get into more detail about that, because I

(54:56):
know there's been a lot of things and a lot
of rumors flying around and he's been denying it, but
then he's posting video of you, you know, with your
hands around his neck and you have videos that you've
posted also, So what is really going on because that's concerning.

Speaker 18 (55:12):
Well, when I'm there in person that out of prison,
Derek was like really angry, it was time to wear
like he would just be aggressive with me, and I
really didn't do anything back when after a while, like
I started.

Speaker 20 (55:25):
Like sticking up for myself.

Speaker 18 (55:26):
So that's when it started to become like mutual time BAEd.

Speaker 3 (55:31):
So what do you mean when you say he was
aggressive towards you, like he was hitting you, he was
getting physical with you.

Speaker 20 (55:36):
Yeah, he started getting physical.

Speaker 5 (55:37):
With me, but when you came up pair you said
that had never happened. That was you covering for him.

Speaker 20 (55:43):
Yeah, that was.

Speaker 5 (55:44):
Has he ever apologized for anything or is he? Does
he still believe that he's not done anything wrong?

Speaker 18 (55:52):
Well since everything went public? M h, No, he hasn't apologized.

Speaker 5 (55:57):
And is this something that like with his parole officer?
Could this affect him going back to jail?

Speaker 20 (56:04):
I mean it.

Speaker 18 (56:04):
Can, but I keep telling there there is the one
that goes on these platforms and like why and say,
like these things ever happen? So if you don't want
it to affect your parole, stop addressing it instead of
making it seem like I'm a liar, you know what
I mean. So that's the only issue that I have
with it. It's just like, just stop talking about it, because.

Speaker 4 (56:24):
Well have I stopped doing it too?

Speaker 5 (56:26):
Because my whole thing is if this does affect him
and it does happen, that's.

Speaker 4 (56:30):
Really his own fault, you know.

Speaker 5 (56:33):
So I don't want you to ever think that, like
you telling the truth or whatever it is that you
go through covering for somebody, I don't want you to
feel like that's your responsibility. It's his responsibility to take
control of his own actions. Now he's got a second
chance to do things right. Even if you guys aren't together.
There are certain things that are not acceptable, and that
are also things that could end up getting him right

(56:55):
back where he was right.

Speaker 18 (56:57):
And that's pretty much the reason like why I decided
to remove myself from the s which is why I
love Cleveland, because it was just too much going on
and I just deal with it anymore.

Speaker 4 (57:08):
Monique is here.

Speaker 5 (57:09):
She's given us an update on what's happened since she's
been up here and way up with Angela Yee from
Love After Lockup.

Speaker 4 (57:14):
We have more with her when we come back. It's
way up.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
Yeah, she back at it. Way up with Angelae is
on What's Up?

Speaker 5 (57:25):
It's way up with Angela yee, and we are talking
to our girl Monique from Love after lock Up. It
looks like she is single again. What about your family?
How supportive are they now and what are what are
they saying to you?

Speaker 20 (57:38):
They're really supportive of like my family.

Speaker 18 (57:40):
That's why my family was never really on the show
because they didn't approve of their and our relationship.

Speaker 20 (57:45):
So that's why my mom and dad kind.

Speaker 18 (57:46):
Of like didn't want to appear on the show because
they felt like he wasn't a good fit for me.

Speaker 20 (57:51):
So you know your parents pretty much.

Speaker 4 (57:54):
That's what parents do.

Speaker 5 (57:55):
What are some misconceptions that you think that people have
when they look at your relationship with Derek.

Speaker 11 (58:00):
I think one of the.

Speaker 18 (58:01):
Most misconceptions of it is me funding the relationship, is
spending all my money on him, Like that's one of
the most misconceptions.

Speaker 4 (58:09):
How much do you think you spent in that relationship.

Speaker 5 (58:14):
Just on him and like moving around doing things because
you know some things are a liability.

Speaker 20 (58:20):
Well, I mean I was out.

Speaker 18 (58:21):
There for four months and it was like we were
staying in a hotel. So our monthly hotel bill was
like twenty six a.

Speaker 4 (58:27):
Month, and you were paying for everything.

Speaker 20 (58:29):
Not everything, you know, we used to put our money
together and.

Speaker 5 (58:33):
You guys have been doing bookings and everything, right, Yeah,
we were What do you say to people who are like,
this whole relationship is fraudulent and they're just trying to
make some money.

Speaker 18 (58:43):
I don't know why they were think it was pradually
because when was you got to two and a half
years before the show even came about, and we'd never
put in an application. We never applied to be on
the show.

Speaker 3 (58:53):
So, yeah, are you dating right now? I know you
said you're finding peace and all that kind of stuff.
Does that include you dating?

Speaker 4 (58:59):
Is it a high girl sum.

Speaker 20 (59:02):
Yeah, it's a girl summer. I'm not really dating anybody,
just you know.

Speaker 4 (59:05):
Yeah, take your time and here.

Speaker 5 (59:07):
You know, it's interesting because I don't feel like I
see you have a lot of emotion when it comes
to this, you know, with your situation. I've watched other
interviews and when you even were up here, I know
you've been through a lot and it has to be
hurtful some of the things that you've been seeing. But
I feel like you've been putting up this real like
strong front, like what's really going on for you.

Speaker 18 (59:29):
I mean, I'm definitely hurt, you know, because I did
put my all into this relationship, and for it's an
in fould, like it's one thing for us to go
through what we go through, but it's like when it's
made public and you're going through a heartbreak for the
world to see, and then they have their own things
and they judge like it's hard to So I'm really

(59:51):
just trying to move forward and not really dwell on
being sad because I look at it as a blessing
because I know the type of person that I am.
I know the type of woman I am, and it's
like I didn't deserve to be with somebody like that.
I was just one solf hoping that this person would change.
And I don't blame myself, and I think that's why

(01:00:11):
I'm dealing with it well, because I know it was
nothing that I get wrong as to why he wanted
to cheat and why he's done the things that he
did to me.

Speaker 5 (01:00:19):
We're talking to Monique, you know her from a Love
after lock Up and Life after lock Up with Derek,
so I think everything is a lesson learned. So what
would you say for yourself having been in this relationship?
What are some things that you feel like you've learned
about yourself or about how to move forward?

Speaker 18 (01:00:34):
Moving forward is so I'm trying to fix a person.
I mean, somebody come into my life already together. I'm
not trying to help build nobody up, trying to fix
some trying to change them, like, just come so already together.

Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
Basically, I'm like that, And what's next for you?

Speaker 18 (01:00:56):
I pretty much you just want to be a brand,
work on my hairline, be absin woman.

Speaker 5 (01:01:01):
You got the wigs pathing you know what I'm saying.
Where can people by the wigs?

Speaker 18 (01:01:06):
I'm no pretty things dot com. My website is not up.
And then also just still working towards my way last
journey too. I'm getting my surgery in the next couple
of months, so I'm looking forward.

Speaker 4 (01:01:17):
To what do you have to do to prepare for
that surgery?

Speaker 18 (01:01:21):
So I have to be on a six months diary requirement.
I lose about thirty more pounds and then I have
to do my blood work.

Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Okay, well, we are praying for you.

Speaker 5 (01:01:34):
You know, I'm always following you and seeing everything that
you're doing, and we're invested.

Speaker 4 (01:01:39):
Monique.

Speaker 20 (01:01:41):
Thank y'all so much.

Speaker 5 (01:01:43):
All right, and thank you for checking in with us,
you know, and listen, I do not want to check
back with you and y'all back together again, because you
sounded a little uncertain when I asked you. You hesitated if
he wanted to get back.

Speaker 20 (01:01:56):
No, I don't think so. I think this is done deal.

Speaker 4 (01:01:59):
You don't think so, you think it's a done deal?

Speaker 20 (01:02:01):
Or okay?

Speaker 4 (01:02:04):
All right, and stop answering in private calls.

Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
I will.

Speaker 4 (01:02:09):
We got to be accountable, all right. Well, thank you.
Money will continue to follow you.

Speaker 5 (01:02:14):
We're praying that the surgery goes well, and we'll keep
you in our prayers and I'll you know me, I
always check up, so I appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
Oh and tell far said he wanted to send you
some stuff.

Speaker 5 (01:02:24):
Oh yeah, when he was up here, you know them,
tell fire bags be hidden.

Speaker 20 (01:02:28):
Ah yeah, So thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:02:31):
I'm gonna connect you guys. Okay, okay, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:02:34):
Thank you Money, bye bye. When we come back.

Speaker 5 (01:02:38):
We have asked ye eight hundred two nine fifty one
fifty if we have any questions, we are here to help.
We have our award winning advice giver Mano in the
building is way up, whether.

Speaker 10 (01:02:49):
It's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 4 (01:02:53):
This is as what's up its way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (01:02:56):
I'm Angela Yee and I am here on the first
day of Pride Month. Oh kay Jasmine from the Jasmine
brand and new Mano, and we are doing ASKI now. Mano,
as you know, is an award winning advice giver and
we are here to help you. Eight hundred two ninety
two fifty one fifty and guess what, well, if you
can't get through, that number is great for voicemails, and
we listen to those voice messages and we respond and

(01:03:19):
we have an ask ye from the voicemail.

Speaker 22 (01:03:22):
So I have a podcast. My co host and I
used to have relations, but we haven't slept together in
a really long time. I don't have any intentions of
sleeping with him. I think that he lies to his
baby mama about like whatever he says he's doing when
he's coming to do the podcast. I can't ever get

(01:03:43):
him to really do like promo for the show. Generally
I pay for about everything, and it's also hard to
even get him to come up with like ideas. But
he's a great host on camera. We have like a
good dynamic, and like, I just don't know what to do.
Should I, like get a new co host. I try
to talk to him, but it's like I don't want

(01:04:05):
to be too pushy. So if you could help, that
would be great.

Speaker 17 (01:04:07):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
All Right, well we have our award winning advice giver here,
Ma no and Mana, what are your thoughts and the
I'm gonna tell you what I think she might.

Speaker 6 (01:04:17):
As well, like get into a relationship with him.

Speaker 4 (01:04:20):
He has a baby.

Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
Mom.

Speaker 4 (01:04:21):
You know that cannot be your advice.

Speaker 3 (01:04:23):
Okay, I'm gonna tell you my advice. You get your
third host. That's exactly what I was thinking about.

Speaker 5 (01:04:28):
Yes, yeah, my advice is put the pressure on you said,
he's great on camera, he's great at this, get a
third host, start developing that person and let him know that.

Speaker 4 (01:04:39):
Like but he wants her to though, listen, she doesn't
want him.

Speaker 6 (01:04:43):
He shouldn't have crossed that bridge.

Speaker 5 (01:04:45):
They already had slept together and now they're doing the podcast.

Speaker 6 (01:04:48):
When she opened that plastic, it's not.

Speaker 4 (01:04:52):
Anyway they can work together.

Speaker 5 (01:04:54):
Yes, I would say get another co host and that way,
you're not relying on just him. So if he's not
doing his part and you're building up something else with
somebody else, then eventually you might have to phase him
out or he's going to have to step up. And
you can't do everything by yourself. And it feels like
now you're carrying everything. He's not participating, he's not pulling

(01:05:17):
his weight. We'll find someone else who will. And now
I'm not saying that you necessarily have to fire him,
but you might have to demote him.

Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
That's exactly what I was doing, says And she's only
doing the work. I mean, she's the only one paying
for everything. She's doing all the promos, she's coming with
all the ideas well. They both they both on air,
they both you know man, I was like, have a
threughsome because you know that's his advice for everybody.

Speaker 4 (01:05:45):
Because you know, I think and I find that this
happened to.

Speaker 5 (01:05:49):
Go, oh my god, to not do that. He lies
about where he's going show. At some point it's going
to hit the fan. Sure he's lying, that's showing.

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
Imagine catching him, you know, it hit the fan, him
lying him, cheating him, sneaking around on this.

Speaker 6 (01:06:07):
Crap for a radio, right, people like people like to
hear that.

Speaker 4 (01:06:10):
Okay, is anybody you want to add on this show?

Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
Mayo?

Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
Okay, then don't be a.

Speaker 5 (01:06:19):
But yes, I think add somebody else that brings value
to the show and start developing that because clearly this
person is it could possibly be.

Speaker 4 (01:06:27):
A liability for you.

Speaker 5 (01:06:29):
Sounds like it, all right, Protect yourself, protect your brand,
keep it moving, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:06:33):
That is our advice for us.

Speaker 5 (01:06:34):
Eight hundred two, nine fifty fifty me Jasmine were a
line there, we were, Yeah, can't trust us, cheat back okay,
and when we come back, we have a last word.
That's where you, guys, get to have the last word.
I love that we have this voicemail setup so that
we don't miss a thing. Eight hundred two, nine fifty
one fifty is a number. It's way up with the
angela Ye.

Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
Take up the phone, get your voice heard. What the
word is the last word on way up with angela Ye?

Speaker 4 (01:07:02):
What's up? It's Angela yee. It's way up with Angela yee.
And Maino is here.

Speaker 5 (01:07:06):
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here, guys, And let
me tell you something. One thing I know that we
have in common and maybe not fresh out the plastic, mayno.

Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
But me and Jasmine love a good deal. Okay, we
love a bargain.

Speaker 5 (01:07:20):
Now I can tell you none of the clothes you
wear on sale, lever, that's not true.

my baby moms fresh milk.

Speaker 9 (01:09:51):
She's pumping out drinking. That's the best on how you
use it for my pank God, And when I tell you,
I understand why babies full asleep from the fresh milk out.
It's sweet, it's warm. Sometimes it's fool go to be different.

Speaker 21 (01:10:03):
Colors depending on how the baby field baby figure not.
When it's blue, I call it the rose, the blue rose.
And when it's that deep yellow, it's Michaelpito. Put you
right out wi this, y'all gotta have it.

Speaker 9 (01:10:16):
It's not nasty. I'm telling you, it's the body.

Speaker 7 (01:10:19):
Y'all was talking about classic surgery and all that stuff,
and in my opinion, there's no problem.

Speaker 17 (01:10:23):
With it right.

Speaker 7 (01:10:24):
The thing comes about when why are you doing it right?
Like when the Kardashians started, you know, getting smaller, you
know sizes and a bugs down doing all this stuff,
and then low Rise des was on the rest. I
already knew.

Speaker 17 (01:10:36):
I knew that this is gonna start happening.

Speaker 12 (01:10:38):
You feel me like people are so influenced.

Speaker 7 (01:10:41):
So I see, as a woman, do what you want
with your body.

Speaker 17 (01:10:44):
You feel me, but make sure.

Speaker 12 (01:10:46):
You're doing it for you.

Speaker 7 (01:10:47):
Don't do it for no attention, don't do it for
nothing else. Do it for you, baby, Look when you
listen to me, or do it for you.

Speaker 16 (01:10:54):
I am my name is Flinda, and I wanted to
comment about the surgery. I am for it. However, in
the medical fields, I have seen women come in, go
get all this sergey done, go out of the country,
and then come in because of the infections or something.
Then's blocks and it will be the woman that get it.

Speaker 12 (01:11:14):
Just be careful.
