very entertaining on b et. He's been working non stop,
but he's also had a lot of pain in his
life and just watching him handle it, just anytime you
see him, you still want to give him a hug.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
All right, But.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Let's get into Shina light when we come back. Eight
hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty is a number.

Speaker 5 (01:36):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Its way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I'm Angela Yee and happy Friday, and it's time to
shine a light, spread some love and positivity. And I
want to talk about this restaurant that is in Alabama.
It's called Drexel and Honeybees. All right, it's a donation
only restaurant.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
On their website, it says the poor and hungry are
often overlooked and ostracized from society. Many are blamed for
their problem without a second thought or ounce of empathy.
At Druxel and Honeybees, we understand that we all fall
on hard times. That's why, with your help, we are
doing our part to offer the lonely and hungry a
seat at our table so that they don't have any
cats registers. There's no prices it's really just people making

(02:16):
donations and they're able to feed whoever needs to eat.
And I think that's a beautiful, beautiful thing. It's a
black owned restaurant in Bruton, Alabama. They got fried chicken,
corn bread, Kylli Greens. If you look at their page,
it looks absolutely delicious. They use one hundred percent of
any contributions for operational costs, so they don't profit, but
they do continue to feed the hungry, and that is

(02:39):
what we need to be.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Love it. All right, you can also text feed the
need to.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Five three five five five, and that's how you can
also help to donate. So shout out to them for that.
They said it's the best food in Bruton. They were
also voted number one in their city. All right, all right, well,
who do you want to shine a light on? Eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty Hey will, how
are you?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
How y'all doing it? Day?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Good?

Speaker 5 (03:01):
Good?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 4 (03:03):
I want to shine a light on my son Jojo,
but I want to start to shine a light on
all my kids, but more so my son Jojo. Even
though he's going through a lot of medical issues, he
still finds the reason to smile. And I just you know,
just want to get my son to shout out, Jojo.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
How are the other kids with everything too?

Speaker 4 (03:19):
They're handling me, you know, they You know, my son
has a rare condition called the sand Filipino syndrome. Is
basically like a child like dementia. Oh and he only
you know, the life expectancy is only between ten and
twenty years.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Okay, yeah, so so just just share a prayer for us.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
We are definitely praying for him.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Anything could happen, you know, to maybe help with that
in the time that he does have. But I love
the fact that you're shining a light on Jojo and
I know that you're going to make however long he's
here count Thank you, Thank you, God bless you and
your family.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
All right, Well, that was shining light.

Speaker 2 (03:56):

So he and his friends that outside the movie theater
went back to everything ready to go. Oh my god.

I gave that in a little call to Sack.

Speaker 7 (05:46):
I know people thought I was crazy, but now, yes,

story short, we broke up not long after that because
he never believed that I was actually in the trunk,

I was excited that I was mentioned on one of
the episodes, really the first one, so make sure y'all

know anything, but on this I'm like.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Okay, I know the answer to but do you know
all of them? From the first episode?

Speaker 2 (07:56):
I think I did know pretty much all of them.
I'm okay, good. I want to to ask you that
because I'm going to ask you a couple of questions. Yes,
because I was like DC young side being there. Come on,
all right, are you ready? What hip hop artist is
unhappy with his wax Museum figure? He said, sorry, wax Museum,
but that ain't me. You tried, though, and I appreciate
the effort.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
I just see this one. I want to say, Wayne,
it is because that figure dealer, Like, I don't know
who that was? Uisburg.

answers to them.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
All right.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
What is the name of the song by Justin Timberlake
that blames Britney Spears for the demise of their relationship.

Way and the one for Real walk Away.

Speaker 3 (09:26):
It's called crimea River, Crime a Real.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
That's what he did. Stay out of white people beating.
I didn't know what he was talking to her.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
I feel like everybody liked Justin Timberlake though Sexy Back.
I remember bringing Sexy being at a wedding and Tony
Yeo was DJing. This is random and he kept playing us.
So he played that song like twenty times in a row.
Really yeah, that's how much he loved that song came.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
I've been I've been on Justin when he was in
sing On Gone.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
But you definitely bring the energy as a host for
a game show, which I love. It's really fun. That's
not an easy job to have. You have your energy up,
but also make sure everybody else is like, come on, let's.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
Go and read.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
Read a lot like what you realize You're like, hold up,
wait a minute, I am the game, Like you have
to read.

Speaker 5 (10:13):
If I don't read, there's no game.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
But it's like, you know what, that what makes the
show because not only that you got your peers, you
got your caves. Like I said that, I'm like, damn,
I'm brown right here playing baby face.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
Don't get out of the house for nobody. I don't
care who you is. Babyface ain't coming out the house
for nobody.

Speaker 1 (10:35):

go to school.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
Oh yeah, that's cute.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Could you see yourself like I know you've talked a
lot about your dad, have you when he was sixty
six years old? Could you see yourself doing something like that?

Speaker 5 (11:05):
I don't know my talent the old I get. I
don't like the baby stage gown and be grown.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah, you want them to just be grown.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
To come out three years old already?

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Is she funny?

Speaker 5 (11:15):
Oh? Up and running?

Speaker 1 (11:19):
She looks especially my second one knowledge she's super lip.
That's the one I got my personality. My oldest daughter.
She bought you more ten to her mama.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
So you feel like you could see like you would
encourage that, Like, let's get into comedy, let's start doing something.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Try to make them do them, let them do them,
let them figure out who they is first, and then
I you know what I'm saying. I don't like to
have like one of them, like one of them family
that like everybody do the same thing. I want them
like kind of teaming them and have their own identity
so they can I can learn from them as well.
I don't want them to try to follow me and
then its shadows whatever they really want to do.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
All right, Well, DC Young Fly is here, and I
know he's been going through a lot of things in
his personal life, but he is still outside working, he's
still on the ground running. We got more with him

Face up there with Funny Marco, you see Fuddy Marco
up there with be some owning up there with you.
Did you know what I'm saying a lot of people
that just we got actors, we got singers, we got comedians.

Speaker 5 (13:11):
So it's like, you know, we got ray J up there.
You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Ray J is like one of the funniest people. I
was gonna say, I feel like could do stand up
because he is just in there. When I first started
the show, I was thinking about this the other day.
He was guest hosting a lot in the beginning, and
it was a mess. I'm not gonna lie, but it
was fun, but it was a mess. Like he first
of all, gets very distracted with me.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
You know, you don't mean he like me, Bro, He
don't mean no harm.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
