Speaker 1 (00:02):
What's is where you put the angel the y I'm here,
my guy, Mana is here, and.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Jordan Partline is in the building. This is your first time.
I'm wake up. But you've done lip service.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Yes, and Mana was trying to practice his Guyanese accents.
Speaker 3 (00:16):
You think about it though Guyanese?
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Yeah, I mean give us a Guyanese phrase and let's
let's teach him a little something.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
How does that sound? Does it sound authentic?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
British?
Speaker 4 (00:32):
British?
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Hat me for a while? Scamped?
Speaker 4 (00:38):
Scump?
Speaker 2 (00:38):
What's that's like a It's like a thing.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
It's a term of like.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
It sounds like that's a name that you call somebody that.
Speaker 5 (00:48):
You don't like, like not at this or like if
you don't like something, you could refer to it like scumped.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Yeah, oh I know that from Brooklyn.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
I should know this.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
I was telling Jordan because you know she lives in
la and you've been living there since you were six, Yes, right,
And so I was like, but you should live in Brooklyn.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
I feel like I could see you fitting in.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
You've been in Brooklyn, you spent time in Brooklyn, right,
you probably got family there.
Speaker 5 (01:14):
I do every time I go to the corner store.
I get hound, I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, the corner store. Okay, yeah, you go get you
call it that in Jersey Corner.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
You were right.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
All right, but let's let's.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Get into uh, some of Jordan's things, or as many
would say, things things all Jordan and Pauline. So, first
of all, congratulations on the song Concentrates that's been burning
it up on TikTok. I see a lot of people
doing challenges.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
And I like the theme of it because guys need
to learn how to concentrate.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
What can you describe that?
Speaker 4 (01:54):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:54):
What focus do we need to have?
Speaker 5 (01:56):
So it's like focused on this peep concentration, like you know,
like focus on it. Don't be thinking about other things
while you.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Now, let me ask you this, Okay, top three things
other than the other person that you think about while
you're having sex. What are some things that can go
through your head that can make you not concentrate. Sometimes
our mind wanders and to other places. Yeah, all right,
so let's go around the room. Jordan, what's my thing
that you think about during sex?
Speaker 4 (02:28):
I'd be like, why is he making that face?
Speaker 6 (02:30):
Or like, oh, dang, food, you know, I think about
food sometimes sometimes like towards the end.
Speaker 4 (02:40):
I don't know that situation.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Must not be going well then if you've got time
to think about food and something a job, if.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
You're hungry, somebody is doing their job right after it
all towards the end, she said, though, right, but.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
No, if he's still going, he shouldn't be. You should
be stealing, you know.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
I feel like I think about a bunch of stuff
m like what like positioning and stuff like okay, that's.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Cool, or like, I don't know, food.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Sometimes I think guys try to do positions that they've
seen like in movies or something, and you're like, you know,
sometimes I don't know.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I think you'll be trying to show off. Man. What
are some things you think about other women?
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Ding ding ding ding ding?
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Do you picture that there's another woman there? You think
about things that you've done with other women while you're.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
With Sometimes I think about somebody else, like it gets
me where I need to get.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
To, you know, like because the person there doesn't.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Sometimes sometimes I do pro bony, you know what I mean?
Sometimes I got to give back.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
You know, Okay, so you do charity work sometimes when
it comes to sex.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Sometimes, you know, I feel like, you.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Know, I think women sometimes we take it for granted
that guys are always going to finish, but then you.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Got to think about somebody else to get there.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Sometimes you ever think about somebody else Jordan?
Speaker 4 (04:12):
Yeah, see, that's a normal thing.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah, and why because he wasn't See.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Have you ever called somebody by the wrong name?
Speaker 4 (04:21):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Absolutely, this is awful.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
But I always like, what hold me? No, you know
you thought I said that. I thought that happened to me.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Before somebody you the wrong name.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
I thought that happened.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
But what really probably did happen? Yeah, probably psyched me
right out.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Because you hear you know what his thing is that
he sleeps with a lot of guys girls, and so sometimes.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Women are still you got you gotta stop. Like somebody
was I can't remember what the name was. It was
like a name, it was like a normal name. It
was like I was gonna say, I was like, who's Andre?
Like it was some crazy name. It was like who's Larry?
Like It's like I just say that right.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah, Because guys, you'allso hear what you want to hear
at a time like that, So listen. Besides that, though
I know you have your project about the job, so far,
you've put out an eph but that.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Was two years.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Yeah, that was two I thought three years but two
years ago. When is this album coming this year?
Speaker 4 (05:19):
Yeah, it's coming this year.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
So the success of Concentrate has did it. It's doing
its thing, you know what I'm saying. So now I'm
like an album mold. I had an album already done,
but I just want to make it better.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
So I'm really like aiming for like July August to drop.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
That's soon, all right, So in the next month or
two you want to get it out this summer.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Congratulations on everything.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
You know, and you've had like a lot of success already,
even from a young age, writing four other people too,
you know, and working in that area. But it's time
for you to be stepping out there yourself.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Absolutely.
Speaker 6 (05:56):
So.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
I know you've said before that if you have music
too long, it's for you to put it out because
you get kind of tired of it.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
So is that why you feel like you've had to
revamp things?
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Absolutely? Yeah. I don't know. My mom's like, people haven't
heard that. You do understand that.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
I do understand that music is timelessening, it's good music,
and that it's new to the people haven't heard it, it
may be old to you, right, so you're probably like,
oh man, mom, this is this is a year old.
We might be like, no, it's too old, but that's
not necessarily true. If it's if it sounds good and
it really has that vibe, you can still put it out.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
I agree, mm hm, I definitely did.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Some of the biggest hits in history have been like old.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Like, how long did you have concentrate before it really
took off?
Speaker 4 (06:40):
That song?
Speaker 5 (06:41):
Okay, I posted it before it dropped on TikTok. It
literally took off a week before I dropped it on
the app. I feel like I made that song and
I've had it in my vote for like five months exactly. Yeah, yeah,
it wasn't that long, did.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
You Well, Yeah, but I feel like for you, you
feel like five months is sitting on something.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Girl, I have songs three years old. My mom still
be telling me to play, Like.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Hey, I feel like we need a listening session so
you can get other people's reactions, because sometimes you judge yourself.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
You overly think about it. A song three years old
maybe may sound fresh to me and like this is good.
You know, if it doesn't sound dated, like if the sounds.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Oh yeah, no, the sounds is there? There you go.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah, Now, Jordan, I also want to talk to you.
Last time we talked to you, we did talk about
your sister, and I see they did arrest somebody, right,
And so I know people always say like they want
to get some type of closure, and I know everything
hasn't been dealt with. I know he's due back in court,
but do you feel like, Okay, at least there's some
answers now after your sister was.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
It's still like I still don't have closure from it
because it's just like I don't understand why, you know,
and it's hard. It's like really hard to deal with
cause like different days. But I'm like with the homegirls
or like friends, I'm.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
Just like, damn, they're just not her, you know, like
they're just not my sister.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Right.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
So it's like it's cool that he's you know, I'm
gonna let God handle him. But it's also just like
I don't know if I would get closure from it, right.
But she's been like giving me signs to different things,
like running into old friends of hers random places. And
I seen a girl in the club that look like
her dancing, and I started crying in the club and
(08:28):
then my godsister walks in the bathroom. That's her godsister,
and I'm like, what the heck is going on? Like randomly,
So I just feel.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Like, you know she's watching, she's here.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
You know she's here for sure.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
So yeah, do you feel like the timing of this
album because I'm sure it was hard for you even
to be in the studio working.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah, but it's also I'm sure therapeutic and what she
would want for you.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (08:49):
Absolutely, she wouldn't be like, she wouldn't want me to
like start and then stop. She's like, girl, you put
in all his work this far, you're gonna stop because
like for what you know? So I'm just really doing
it to make her problem. My mom was telling me
because money's been coming in for me.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
Now okay, y'ah ain't here that family.
Speaker 5 (09:09):
Don't start calling me none that okay, do not.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
So my mom's like, what do you want to do?
You know? And I'm like, well, I always just wanted
to spoil you and most but like you know, she
was older, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
That's my older sister, So now you can spoil your mind.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Yeah, just check out on her and watch it.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
Pool and your mom is baby. She is baby, you know.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
So talk to me about the album too, So, like,
what are some of the themes that are going to
be happening, because I know you have songs that you're like,
all right, let me revamp somethings. So talk to me
about revamping the album and what some of the topics.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
I'm doing some girl collapse and I've never done any
girl collapse before, so and the one that I'm working
on right all yeah, it's one of the ones and
she's y'all know, real bad, Like yeah, oh my god,
but that is going to be the next I'm dropping
that because everybody wants me to drop the remix of Concentrate,
(10:04):
which is like the Mariah Carey sample.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Oh that sounds so good.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Yeah, and we have to get it cleared.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
I was going to ask you about that because when
I was watching it, you know, being looped, I'm like.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Did they get this cleared or is this just you
gotta doing mashups?
Speaker 4 (10:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (10:16):
It's clear.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Okay, congratulations, it sounds amazing.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
Thank you. So we're dropping that.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
They've been on me real bad, okay, every day, cussing
me out that feels good though they're cussing you out
for a good sing like put that out. I cannot
wait to find out who this collab is with. Is
it a rapper or a second girl?
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Who? You know what we were talking about before you
came up here.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
How hard it is because it feels so divided in
some parts of like women. It feels like if you
work with this person, can I work with this person?
This person doesn't get along? Yeah, And it gets a
little weird because you can have nothing to do with it,
and you can like people who don't get along with
each other, But then you work with this person and
now this person has an issue?
Speaker 2 (10:55):
How do you navigate through that?
Speaker 5 (10:57):
I mean, shoot, nobody handed me nothing coming up, you know.
So when I see somebody that is actually willing to
be in my corner and be supportive, and as I
am to them, I'm going to show them love. Like
I've reached out to so many people for features and
they've just left me on red, you know, but it's
like all circling back. So I'm going to f with
(11:18):
who f's with me? And I feel like that is
the only way to go in this industry because everybody's
so wishy washy anyway. You know, it's a popularity contest,
eyes contest. You got to be where the love is,
you know, for your own sanity and peace, especially in
La and especially Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
That's what your song Toxic was kind of about being
in LA.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Yeah, Like it was like a toxic situation, like it
had like industry you being like a pretty woman. We
know how it is being a beautiful woman trying to
come up in the industry, you know, like getting in
the situations is this is these people serious about my
career or they want to do something else? Did you
did you find that challenging?
Speaker 4 (11:57):
Oh my god, it was so hard. It's just perseverance stuff.
Speaker 5 (12:01):
Just like even though these people may not see it,
I always got to see it in myself, you know.
So like I've dealt with that a lot, right, you
like a lot. Yeah, there's been guys. Oh I could
give you this and this and that, but you gotta
be first.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Wow. Yeah, like you.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Know, yeah, we see people feeling empowered to be able
to tell their stories now. And it's so interesting because
people are not in the business are like that's ridiculous,
how could that? But it does happen, you know, and
like we can't say what's you know, but we do
know in this business, it is rampant, it's crazy, and
I'm thinking maybe things will start to get better as
(12:39):
people are getting exposed, you know. Like even just thinking
about when we all saw that tape of Diddy with Cat,
that's hard for him. I was terrible, Yeah, for people
to see that, but it's like people didn't believe it
until they saw it, and that's unfortunate because it makes
it hard for people to be able to come out
and say things because people don't believe you and everyone
doesn't have a tape, you know, for people to be
(13:01):
able to see it.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
So that's how too.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah, did you feel discouraged when you was going through
those those obstacles?
Speaker 5 (13:08):
Absolutely, you know it, Just like I don't know, like
I'm very mindful. That whole trend of being mindful of
why you have don't know, if you guys seen it,
you've seen it like being mindful. Okay, So my thing
right now is just being mindful. Like even though discouragement
(13:28):
comes here and there, you gotta like overpower it. Your
mind has to be strong, you know, like it has
to be strong. Yeah, That's what I'm about.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
You know, I think even your background, let's just talk
about you moving to the United States at the age
of six, six years old, yeah, six years old. What
was life like for you? You know, just coming up
like you went to you moved to Crenshaw.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
And I moved to Crenshaw.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
My sister went there okay shortly, but I ended up
going to La Tierra for the second grade and they
were just so mean. The kids were horrible, and we
just wasn't vibing. My sister was getting bullied as well.
So we got homeschool.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
So it was because what they didn't understand your accent.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
Yah, they didn't understand us.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
And they don't have like a large Ganese population in
La South Central.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
Wow, hyper tenth, I've absolutely Wow.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
If you came here, it would have been like, yeah,
it's home. Yeah, why I never thought of that.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
They made me try to change myself real bad.
Speaker 6 (14:32):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
But me and her got We just ended up being homeschool.
My mom put us to homeschool, and we're moving from
house to house, car to car.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
It wasn't that it.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
Was really hard, right, Like it was really hard. I
feel like life pretty much got easier around twenty nineteen.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
That's not that long ago pandemic here, Yeah, And why
is that?
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Because we finally moved out of the hood and we
got moved to Englewood and we was like in Ladera
and it was just like softer, you know, not so
on edge all the time. Right, that was easier, and
then tween twenty three it started getting better, and then
my sister died and then right.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
You know, it's people would have thought that you have
money back then too, because you were working and you
were building yourself up, you were writing. But people don't
understand the grind of being in this business and how
long it takes to finally make some money. Yeah, when
did you finally Yeah, when did you finally make a
little money where you felt like okay, it's you know,
because okay, change your lives and fashion.
Speaker 5 (15:46):
I love you, I love Fashonova. That's like when I
started getting checks when I was a kid and stuff.
But all my money we want into like you know,
putting back into house hold and stuff.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
And then.
Speaker 5 (16:03):
Finally getting money was like real money for rogues with
national m hm.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (16:08):
I still get my little royalty texts from Disney and stuff,
but that's from like it gets like two dollars dollars
thirty two.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
Like fifty.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
It's really just good for your resume to be like, yeah,
I worked on X, Y and Z. And then even
sometimes when you're writing with people and producing with people,
they're kind of taking the credit exactly, and it's you
just it's kind of like an apprenticeship.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
You got to pay your dues.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yeah, paying your dues.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
But you know, hopefully things can get better for people,
because sometimes you get taken advantage of it.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
Getting better for her.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Yeah, yeah, fat perfect.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
And I know you've spoken previously about making timeless music,
but there has been a large gap of time, you know,
And so for you, like what type of headspace do
you have to be in when you're in the studio
working on your own stuff as opposed to other people's.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
I feel like being creative it is all about allowing
yourself to sit and really listen to yourself, like listen
to your thoughts and be in a room with people
that's not going to like tear your thoughts down or
judge your thoughts, prejudge them before you're able to even
get them out. So the process you're talking about the
(17:18):
process right. The process is it's easy, but it's also
like hard. I have a lot of brain fall right now.
So I am working with writers.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
I'm just nothing wrong with that.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Though, but I'm having brain fall right now. Like you know,
I think it's something to go on with my loss.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
But yeah, I mean it's a critical time. And you know,
this guy, like you said, there's a lot of questions
that you don't have answers to, and it doesn't who
knows what he's gonna, you know, end up saying.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
But you have to relive that every time.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
And I know, like, I'm so sorry because I know
that is not a yeah, you know, everybody was watching
that story.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
It was a big national news story too.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
I remember that, you know.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
So yeah, I mean we're paying attention to everything, and
and I was happy to see that at least they
arrested somebody because now it's like, all right, that person
is not just out there, yeah, you know anymore. And
so for your mom, now, has she been able to
like relax a little bit more with everything that.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
You have going on?
Speaker 5 (18:22):
Oh yeah, she's she's she's feeling better, Like you know,
she manages Killoby who produced Texas Texas hold him for
Beyonce two other songs, but he's up right now, so yeah,
the team is up. So everyone's just you know, just
taking it all in. He's also executive producing my album.
(18:42):
We're doing it for Melissa, you know, like I just
feel like we're doing it for her, like we got
to write out so and she's in heaven definitely making
some stuff shake.
Speaker 4 (18:51):
So yeah, we're just doing it for her. And my
mom knows that. You know.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
It's definitely not easy every day, you know, but it's
just with thank you Lord for God, right, you know.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
And what about dating now for you? Because I know
you've been going through it.
Speaker 4 (19:09):
Oh my god, the boys are so dumb. It's like,
what if I'm on your radar?
Speaker 5 (19:16):
You know, I just don't understand sometimes, But I'm just
gonna give that to God as well.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
What does that mean if I'm on your radar? I
don't understand.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
Because Okay, I like to visualize myself very high standard.
I put myself on a pedestal as every woman should.
And sometimes I give men that don't deserve me a
chance and they still don't get the job done.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
So it's just like a bit a girl, let me
radar A girl let me you.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
Know, on your redar and you fumbling. It's kind of crazy,
Like get in a gym, get to practicing, like you know, a.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
Guy sometimes could feel a little bit of insecurity too
when I comes to dating somebody like Jordan's. You know
that could be hard for them. But y'all got to
step up to the plate.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Have you ever been intimidated dating anybody?
Speaker 3 (20:09):
May No, absolutely not.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
What look at me?
Speaker 1 (20:14):
That's the energy though that he'd be fumbling all the time.
Though I'm not gonna lie. Ask him some questions like
why why do y'all get it?
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Why do y'all fumble like that?
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Like what are some reasons that you can have somebody
like a Jordan Pauline on the radar right and have
it in front of you.
Speaker 3 (20:33):
But now you say like a Jordan Pauline, you mean like, uh,
you know, beautiful.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Talented, talented all around about her business.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
It could be many different things. A lot of men
are insecure. You don't see it because it's covered behind
you know, jury, you know, calls, cribs or whatever. It's
covered behind some of the tangible things, so you don't
really get to see who that that person is. But
that's a lot of the women thought because they attracted
to the lights.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
Right, So they get attracted to that.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
I like it, but it's not if you like the
lights and you're going for the lights, then you don't
really know how that meant how rich.
Speaker 6 (21:12):
His character is.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
His character could be very poor, but you wouldn't really
know that. But some of the reasons why men fumble
because when you get to know the true him.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
Always but you know sometimes too, you're in the studio
around people, and guys assume that other men are trying
to talk to you and that you're around all these
powerful guys, and it makes them feel insecure, so they
do things because they assume that you have other things
happening to make them feel better.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
That's literally, that is jealous.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
And in security in a man is so unattractive. It's
very unappealing. Like if you don't have the confidence.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
That's that's that's like. But all men not like that.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
Though, right, I'm not saying they are, but I'm saying
that is unattractive. Like what what would you look for
if you could say, my ideal guy artificial intelligence.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Let's build him a.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
Real inward.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Right, yeah, okay, do you like nice guys, because let's
be clear, red flag.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
Yeah, it can't be too nice, not too friendly to nice.
We know.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
You get it literally in the between.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
You can't have somebody let you walk all over them. No,
and somebody that's gonna be honest with you and tell
you the truth, but to be sock. I like guys
that are always very nice and sweet to me, but
maybe not nice.
Speaker 5 (22:34):
To this only to you.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
You paying attention to this.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
What's the craziest thing that's happened in La? You know
they have a lot of wild parties in La. Have
you ever ended up at a party and been like.
Speaker 5 (22:46):
Actually, I've thrown a couple of parties and you know,
Airbnb and and stuff. My parties wouldn't until eight am
sometimes wow, And then some people would be like yeo, girl,
like this will happening. I'm like, y'all had an orgy
of months.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
Somebody in this room went to an orgy.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Recently and it was bad.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
He said, how did you not know what was?
Speaker 4 (23:10):
I was knocked out d sleeping.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Okay. I feel like that's a very La thing.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Like you end up those house parties in LA because.
Speaker 1 (23:18):
La is the home of the house parties, because everything
shuts down so early, and they also have nicer homes
than we have here.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Everything is so small.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Imagine in the studio apartment, you're trying to have an
orgy enough space. So what are your expectations when you
put out this project in July or August?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
What would make you happy?
Speaker 5 (23:40):
I just want to get on Billboard, Okay. I want
to be number one. I'm going to be number one.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
That's it. I just wanted to be on there.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
In tour okay, So what's going on with the tour?
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (23:52):
So I got a book and agent now, so he's
doing his thing. But yeah, I've done like overseas fust
rules and stuff in the Caribbean and stuff. I've never
really touched America like that.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
I've done.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
Texas in Atlanta, but I want to touch America, okay.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
And I think people will love that.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
We love that for you, and you know, listen, I
don't mind going to the Caribbean going to those shows either,
but I feel like that is so universal now too.
And I love the fact that like Caribbean music, world music.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Is world music. You know, Maino's from Saint Thomas.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
And Smily is from Saint Thomas and Saint Croix.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
That sounded like your guy in these accent from earlier.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
I mean, oh my god.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
But even when you think about categorizing your music, what
would you put it in?
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Like?
Speaker 1 (24:47):
You know how they always break it down into john
where but trapp trap pop?
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Okay, I like that.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
My vocals is pop, my beats is it? It's given
that nice?
Speaker 1 (24:57):
Okay, Well listen, Jording. We are still looking forward to
this new project. We're going to be paying attention to
everything that you have going on. Make sure y'all listen
to concentrate right now, because it's going to give you
some lessons. Start at the what you tell us, start
at the and end.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
At the started with.
Speaker 5 (25:19):
And we're ending withals. We're ending in with all holes.
Holes filter back the same.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Way you want.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
Heard you shut up.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
And you love nerds.
Speaker 1 (25:38):
But everything you told me does not say that looking
for you don't.
Speaker 2 (25:42):
Want a nerd. When she said I want a real
and where she meant.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
A nerd, Yeah, all right, a real nerd.
Speaker 1 (25:49):
Well, Jordan Pauline, as usual, thank you so much for
joining us, and I know we'll see you again before
the tour starts and when the album comes.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
Out absolutely, Thank you, Angela. I appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
I appreciate you. It's way up, way up, okay.
