I'm not just any brand, I'm my own brand.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
May now yeah, right now, all right now.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Tyresee has responded to his ex wife, Samantha Lee. Samantha
Lee recently did an interview with and she talked about
her divorce. Right she was on the Hardly Initiated podcast
and she said that the reason why she ended up
getting divorce was because of other people. Here's what she said.
Speaker 9 (06:03):
Do you think you still would have actually gone through
a divorce, not that time.
Speaker 15 (06:06):
The truth about the matter is that if I had
different people in my ear at that time, it would
not have made that decision.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
No, and that's the truth. I was very, very hurt.
Speaker 15 (06:17):
I was very angry, and I remember when I made
the decision, I was like hysterically crying.
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Oh right.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
She said she underestimated the involvement of lawyers and the
court system in their divorce and that they tend to
win when families fall apart. Now, Tyrese, however, did not
take too kindly okay to this confession, and here's what
he had to say in response to his ex wife, Samanthae.
Speaker 16 (06:45):
If you had people in your ear that influenced you
into leaving your husband and your one year old child,
you're heartless. So if you had people in your ear
at the time, they must be still in your ear
because you're still trying to get twenty one thousand dollars
a month for a five year old.
Speaker 9 (07:03):
You make one hundred and sixty thousand dollars a year
on your own.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
This is all a game.
Speaker 9 (07:08):
You're clout chasing.
Speaker 14 (07:09):
If you wanted to be famous.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Boo boo.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
Boo, boo is hilarious.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Boo boo.
Speaker 9 (07:15):
Boo boo is valard it is. It's just it's not
playing on me booboo.
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Because it can mean something nice or not. Usually boo
boo is like.
Speaker 17 (07:24):
Bo No, it's usually like with some shade, right, it's
usually shady.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
May tell you something, boo boo? Yeah, all right.
Speaker 12 (07:32):
Well.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
He also says that she hired three law firms and
his legal fees are approaching a million dollars even though
they have a prenup that she he said, she's trying
to crack the prenup and it's been three years of it.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Can I just ask a question only quick?
Speaker 17 (07:45):
It did at some point seem like Tyrese wanted her back,
Yeah right, it did, definitely.
Speaker 8 (07:49):
When he was he was crying, what what more do
you want from me?
Speaker 9 (07:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (07:55):
But it course is hard for you know, it's not
an easy process.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
And they have a child together to divorce.
Speaker 9 (08:01):
What I'm asking, no, I have not no.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
All right now.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
Tyler Perry has set an eight picture first look feature
film deal with Netflix. He's gonna write, direct, and produce
feature films under a multi year first look deal and
this packed is eight pictures over four years.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
Okay, that's gonna be dope.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Tyler Perry, do not stop making these deals. Okay, let
me tell you something. I remember the first Tyler Perry
movie I ever saw.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
What was that?
Speaker 4 (08:29):
That was the one? What Diary of a Mad Black Woman?
That's correct?
Speaker 9 (08:34):
Wasn't that the first one?
Speaker 13 (08:36):
No?
Speaker 5 (08:36):
I mean I don't know.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
I just remember that's the first one I ever saw.
Speaker 17 (08:38):
Did you all ever go to any of his plays?
Like back in the day, I.
Speaker 8 (08:44):
Used to watch the plays, okay, And the first time
I ever saw madea was on the was the play?
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Yeah, I never saw the.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
But I just remember being on vacation with my best
friend and her mom and her mom's best friend, and
they were like, you have to watch this movie. And
that's how I ended up watching It's so good well,
and she was like talking along with it while it
was playing.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
She did well.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
Mayno is an actor, So we need to get you
in on this deal.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
MANO always plays a bad guy. We played a nice
guy play.
Speaker 9 (09:14):
A priest in a horror movie.
Speaker 17 (09:17):
It has to be believable. I don't think he'd be
in a pre given a right, all right? Shout out
to pass the air. Bernard who was up here. He
actually has performed exorcisms.
Speaker 9 (09:26):
Really, yes, yes, I'm sure that's the best one.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
All right.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
Now forty has his childhood street renamed after him.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
That is the goal, all right.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Now he also has October twenty first as E forty days.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
But now he has a street E forty way, so cool.
Speaker 2 (09:43):
It's a one mile stretch of Magazine Street where he
grew up. And there was a whole ceremony and so
shout out to him. Okay, all right, Lil Wayne has
a wax figure, but he does not like it. I
don't know if you guys saw Little Wayne's wax figure.
Speaker 9 (09:58):
He looked like whining that way.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
Yeah, the one that's just missing up like for a
little bit, right, what's his name? Angela?
Speaker 17 (10:05):
The guy that went The boy went missing, but he
really wasn't missing. A rapper he came on your show.
That's what he looked like, Tea.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
He does look like, Yeah, I gotta look me up now,
Lil Wayne says, sorry, wax museum, but that ish ain't me.
You tried, though, and I appreciate that.
Speaker 9 (10:28):
They always mess those up though that's probably.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Not an easy thing to do. Some of them look real.
I've been to the Wax Museum. I thought it would
be okay, I'm not going to say anything that about it,
but it is a quick walk through. Let's just say
that it's not like, you know, you get to take
pictures and then it looks like you're really with the person.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
If the person looks.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
Like I think Mike Tyson looks similar.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Yeah, some of them do look very realistic. All right,
well that is your ye tea. And when we come back,
we have about last night, y'all. We had a lot
going on, so I cannot wait to discuss this. I
know Mana was performing at Giant Stadium. I was with
everybody at Black Entrepreneur's Day with Damon John and that's
going to be airing on November first. We'll talk about that.
(11:08):
And Jasmine, I know you've been around the world. It's
the way Angela about last night.
Speaker 7 (11:13):
So about last night last night.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
He went down.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Yes, it's way up with Angela. Yee, I'm Angela.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Ye, Jasmine brand is here, Yes, Mano is here. Yeah,
so we're talking about what we did last night. Now,
we didn't get a chance to talk about you Mano
being at Giants Stadium and performing.
Speaker 8 (11:32):
What was that major major, major, major major, shout out
to the Giants.
Speaker 9 (11:35):
Man, they won.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Are you a Giants fan outside of this?
Speaker 9 (11:40):
I'm a New York fan, So anything New York I'm with.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Okay, so you performed.
Speaker 9 (11:44):
Yeah, I'm not.
Speaker 8 (11:45):
I don't really watch football though, M like, it's not
really my thing, but you know it's the Giants.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
It's all right. So it was the whole process like.
Speaker 9 (11:52):
Where I was with Clue shout out the.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Clue, DJ Clue Colluminati.
Speaker 8 (11:56):
So we kind of like opened up the game and
then I told him, I told him of us to listen,
we're gonna win it, because the thing is, we're coming
with the energy. And the Giants had been on a
maybe like a losing streak or something like that, and
then right it was on a slump. So if they
would have lost that game against Washington, they would have
been out.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
It would have been it would have been what song
did you before?
Speaker 9 (12:16):
What song do you think for my city?
Speaker 5 (12:19):
Of course you did, of course you did.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
Were you nervous at all?
Speaker 9 (12:23):
No?
Speaker 5 (12:23):
Okay, you ain't gonna be soliggressive.
Speaker 8 (12:27):
It's because you know, it's because we haven't a thing.
Me and huh Poles last weekend. Now you're coming at me.
But listen, it was amazing. It was it was it
was huge for me.
Speaker 5 (12:36):
Yeah, that's a big deal.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
And das when you were in Detroit, I.
Speaker 5 (12:39):
Was in Detroit.
Speaker 17 (12:40):
I was eating everywhere. I got my nails done yesterday.
Shout out to Vanessa at Vanessa Detroit. Okay, I have
some beautiful nails today because of her. I just went everywhere.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
All right, Well, I was. I was at the Apollo.
So Black Entrepreneurs Day is is going to be next week.
But we had, you know, a lot of things to
take care of in hand. So it was a good
time though. And what I love about this, I've been
hosting Black Entrepreneurs Day since Damon John. Damon John from
Shark Tink and Fu Boom he actually started this and
(13:11):
this is the fourth year and I've hosted every single.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
Year with him, and it's getting bigger and bigger.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Yes, I will say I mean from the beginning, I
feel like we started it during the pandemic and so
it was kind of I had to be in person filming,
but a lot of it was virtual. But he has
conversations with people like Whoopee Goldberg, Anthony Anderson such the
entertainer Shaquille O'Neill, some great sponsors like Shopify, who I
also have my shop inside of Shopify coffee, uplifts people.
(13:38):
I'm Carrie Champion was there with JP Morgan. But it's
also just educational for people, and it's free for people
to be able to watch. Okay, and so a lot
of one on one discussions that Damon John has with
a lot of different cultural icons, black business leaders.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
And they give away a lot of money.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
They give away I think like two hundred thousand dollars wow,
from the NAACP.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
So things like this.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Where people can get information but also have access to
funds and grants, I think is super important.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
So money is so important in entrepreneurship.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Absolutely so, yes, So shout out to everybody who's going
to be watching, everybody who was there who participated, all
of the corporations that actually sponsor this, like a General
and Low's and all of that, and JP Morgan and Shopify,
McDonald's all of them, you know, and help give away.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Money to people.
Speaker 9 (14:28):
That's right, good way, All.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Right, Well, listen, I want to bring this back to
something we just talked about during ut We were discussing
Tyrese and his ex wife, Samantha Lee, and he called
her a narcissist.
Speaker 4 (14:42):
Here's what he said, if you.
Speaker 16 (14:44):
Had people in your ear that influenced you into leaving
your husband and your one year old child, you're heartless.
So if you had people in your ear at the time,
they must be still in your ear because you're still
trying to get twenty thousand dollars a month for five
year old. You make one hundred and sixty thousand dollars
a year on your own.
Speaker 9 (15:05):
This is all a game. You're clout chasing.
Speaker 14 (15:08):
If you wanted to be famous.
Speaker 1 (15:09):
Boo boo, that's all.
Speaker 9 (15:10):
You had to say.
Speaker 13 (15:12):
Booboo.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Well, anyway, so he called her a narcissist, and we
were discussing this behind the scenes because we feel like
that word gets used a lot yes to talk about somebody,
and narcissism is a real mental health disorder. Okay, Jasmine,
I know you have the definition. Well, I have some signs.
If the person has narcissistic personality disorder. If they're entitled,
if they lack empathy, if they're arrogant, if they must
(15:38):
be admired, can only be around people who are important
or special.
Speaker 5 (15:43):
Do you guys, know any people like that.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
Have you ever dated a narcissa?
Speaker 2 (15:47):
I tell you they really, you know, they say the
narcissists have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance.
They need and seek too much attention and want people
to admire them. All right, And so he said his
ex a narcissists? What have been your experiences? If you've
ever did it a narcissists?
Speaker 4 (16:03):
How did you know?
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is the number?
You think this word is overused?
Speaker 4 (16:08):
All right? Let us know eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty is way up.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
You've got the way up with Angela yee.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
All right, this way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee.
Jasmine brand is here.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Not just any brand. I'm my own brand.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Mayno's in the building, No man, Mayna. And we are
talking about Tyreet. He has branded his ex wife Samantha
Ye as a narcissist. Here's what he had to say
in response to her interview where she was saying that
the people around her influenced her to get a divorce.
Speaker 16 (16:36):
If you had people in your ear that influenced you
into leaving your husband and your one year old child.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
You're heartless. So if you had people in.
Speaker 16 (16:46):
Your ear at the time, they must be still in
your ear because you're still trying to get twenty thousand
dollars a month for a five year old. You make
one hundred and sixty thousand dollars a year on your own.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
This is all a game clout chasing.
Speaker 14 (17:01):
If you wanted to be famous.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Boo boo, that's all.
Speaker 4 (17:05):
You have to say. Boo boo.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
All right, so we're asking you, have you ever dated
somebody who you feel is a narcissist or maybe you
feel like that word is just overused.
Speaker 18 (17:16):
May know you're a narcissist, right, I would say that
I probably possess a couple of the a couple of
the little straits like what, I.
Speaker 9 (17:27):
Don't need to be admired. I don't need that. Maybe
I lack a little empathy.
Speaker 6 (17:32):
Maybe I.
Speaker 9 (17:36):
Don't take accountability all the time.
Speaker 14 (17:38):
It takes me.
Speaker 9 (17:39):
Maybe you know what its I do, but it takes
a while.
Speaker 8 (17:41):
You got to like show me that I was wrong.
Speaker 9 (17:45):
Document I need search every.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
Like a headache.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
Yo.
Speaker 9 (17:50):
Yeah, I probably am.
Speaker 4 (17:51):
Yeah, as anybody ever called you that, or you ever
dated a narcissist.
Speaker 5 (17:55):
No one's ever called me that.
Speaker 17 (17:56):
I don't think I really have ever been in a
relationship with one, but I've kind of went on a
date here and there, and it looks like, oh, you're one,
I am Angelaie?
Speaker 5 (18:04):
Am I a narcissist?
Speaker 4 (18:05):
I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
I think so you're gaslighting her man relaxed gas lighting.
Speaker 9 (18:11):
But I also feel like it's an overused terms.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
I will say, dealing with people who are narcissist is
really difficult, you know who. And we were talking about
this behind the scenes. Donald Trump would be considered, yeah, narcissist,
somebody who doesn't take accountability. Remember when he signed his
names on those checks. People had to wait to get
this check because he wanted to put his name on it. Hilarious,
like it was his money. I did this, I did this,
all right. Well, what do you guys think? Have you
(18:35):
ever dated a narcissist? Eight hundred two nine fifty fifty ochbar,
how are you hello?
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Have you ever dated a narcissist?
Speaker 11 (18:43):
Well, I am nist.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
You're you're good with that?
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 19 (18:48):
I think so, you know.
Speaker 11 (18:51):
For sure, I think I am.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
So. Why do you say that?
Speaker 19 (18:54):
Because that was explaining it, and I'm just like, oh,
oh yeah, check mark, check mark, check mark. Ye, yep,
that's pretty much me.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Has this been a problem in your life?
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 19 (19:05):
Now I don't think so, though, because people still accept me.
Is people still love me for who I am?
Speaker 5 (19:10):
Do you have a girlfriend or a person in your life?
Speaker 20 (19:13):
No, I don't not as right now.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
Okay, it might be why because.
Speaker 11 (19:17):
I tried to take a different route.
Speaker 19 (19:19):
It just crumbled and fail.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
Okay, okay, So it's not your fault.
Speaker 9 (19:23):
Of course, it's not his fault, and he I like that.
Speaker 14 (19:25):
It owns who he.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Never is, never his fault. But thank you for owning that.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Everybody still clear?
Speaker 1 (19:35):
All right?
Speaker 4 (19:35):
Hey, Elizabeth, how are you?
Speaker 12 (19:37):
I'm good?
Speaker 21 (19:38):
How are you?
Speaker 4 (19:38):
I'm good? Thank you? Have you ever dated a narcissist?
Speaker 21 (19:42):
I'm currently dating a narcissist and I've been with him
for five years.
Speaker 11 (19:46):
I didn't know he was a narcissist.
Speaker 21 (19:48):
Until two years then when the love bombing finally stopped,
and then he started showing.
Speaker 8 (19:55):
What's some of the things that he showed you that
made you diagnose him as a narcissist.
Speaker 21 (20:00):
I mean, he is the type of person that has
no accountability, like he will always blame everyone else for
his action.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
Okay, I mean he.
Speaker 21 (20:11):
Literally said that everyone in Brooklyn Bronx got dreads because
he got dreads in the nineties.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
And these in the area got locked.
Speaker 9 (20:22):
Maybe maybe he just deion.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 21 (20:26):
Yeah, writing, and I'm just oh my god, like.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
I'm staid in breathing when I was born, and I
felt like after that, everybody started breathing.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Wow, I'm curious.
Speaker 21 (20:39):
I have a conversation with him, and then he'll well,
what do you do?
Speaker 11 (20:43):
Well?
Speaker 20 (20:44):
What do you that?
Speaker 21 (20:45):
Like, he never anti his action, He always reflects and
puts it right back on me.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
What you're gonna do?
Speaker 20 (20:53):
Well, I'm debating leaving.
Speaker 21 (20:55):
But everyone's like, well, maybe he'll change christ therapy.
Speaker 19 (20:59):
You know, he loved you.
Speaker 21 (21:00):
He you know, he's never treated a woman like he
treated you. But I'm like, I'm not that happy, So
that's not a great tign if.
Speaker 20 (21:08):
He's treated other women worse than me.
Speaker 21 (21:14):
I'm debating five. Like, no, he's in my rock, like
I went through a back of board. He was there
for my kids in the first two years. He was
perfect and then all of a sudden episode wore off.
So I'm trying to be loyal and see maybe if
I should go to counseling, if it's worth it. But
everyone's saying narcissism doesn't go away, like they never changed.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
He may need to go to therapy for himself.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
So you know, whether or not you decide to stay,
it's nothing wrong with encouraging him to get some help.
Speaker 21 (21:39):
Yeah, yeah, I say that all the time, therapy and counseling.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
All right, Well, thank you, we wish you level whatever
you decide to do. Thank you.
Speaker 12 (21:47):
Guys.
Speaker 4 (21:48):
Hey, Rick, what's up?
Speaker 10 (21:49):
I was a going I just needed to talk. I
just need to say that that word narcissist is overused,
that woke, gaslighting, all that stuff. Social media has turned
everyone into it. And that therapist now, I'm telling you.
Speaker 9 (22:02):
I agree with you, brother.
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Definitely some buzzwords that people use all the time.
Speaker 5 (22:06):
The internet therapists.
Speaker 9 (22:07):
Yeah, I agree with her.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
I feel like somebody called you a narcissist.
Speaker 20 (22:11):
No, I mean it's been I've heard the word, but
it's someone to someone that I knew, didn't even know
what the word.
Speaker 13 (22:16):
Right.
Speaker 20 (22:18):
The problem is the problem is on social media, everyone
that used to be in the slow class now has
a platform to say some things.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
You are sounded like, I'm not gonna lie. You're gaslighting
all these people.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Exactly what I'm talking about.
Speaker 14 (22:34):
Stop.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
All right, well, thank you for calling he right though,
all right, well that was us just talking about this
whole narcissism. I don't know about that. Alast He's right,
he gasled everyone. All right, And when we come back,
let's talk about Squid Game the competition. Did y'all know
that this is going to be a competition show where
(22:57):
they're going to be competing for over four point five
million dollars.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
We're going to talk about it. It's way up at
Angela yee. Et next the rooms.
Speaker 7 (23:05):
From Industry Shade to all of gossip out send Angela's
spilling that yet.
Speaker 4 (23:11):
Hey, what's up? It's way up with Angela.
Speaker 10 (23:13):
Yee.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
I'm Angela yee. Jasmine brand is here.
Speaker 5 (23:15):
Yes, I'm here.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
Mayno's here?
Speaker 10 (23:18):
Oh man?
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Yeah, okay really here slid All right, well let's get
into some yet. Now, let's talk about Netflix's Squid Game
reality show. The trailer is out and by the way,
it really does look just like Squid Game the games
that they have to do. It's a reality competition series.
And there's four hundred and fifty six players from around
the world. They're playing to get a prize of four
(23:42):
point five.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
Six million dollars.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (23:45):
All right, so here's a little bit of that trailer.
This game has to be played with strategy.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
I'm going to be your best Friendise.
Speaker 18 (23:52):
But I will absolutely do we all cross you.
Speaker 1 (23:55):
You can't trust any baldy NPA.
Speaker 3 (23:58):
You must know two players.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
To eliminate all right now.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
The challenge is a non fatal version because mano ass
do you die?
Speaker 4 (24:08):
It says it's non fatal you die.
Speaker 6 (24:12):
No.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
But there was some controversy.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Some contestants told The Sun that they were treated like
animals and torture during the Red Light Green Light Challenge.
They said they had to stand motionless for hours in
freezing weather. Allegedly, one contestant said it was like a
war zone. Some people couldn't move their feet because it
was so cold. Some were crawling by the end. At
least one was carried out on a stretcher.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
I can see that.
Speaker 17 (24:33):
I mean just outside nature. It's full body, you know.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
Netflix and producers did deny any wrongdoing. They said while
it was very cold on set and participants were prepared
for that any claims if serious injury are untrue.
Speaker 17 (24:46):
Four point five six billion, you're gonna get a little hurt.
I mean million, you can get little hurt. Yeah, yeah, No,
I would lose. I wouldn't win this type of challenge.
I wouldn't like it's cold go. You know, angel is
really competitive. She might she might get to the end,
and she might get up there and then Mena will
fight people and beat them up.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
Well, there's ten episodes just to FYI if you guys
want to watch, and it definitely does look like Squid
Game for everybody that was in love with that series.
Speaker 5 (25:13):
Angela, let's watch that this soon, this week or this
weekend oorself.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
Well it comes down in November, so oh, I'm good,
corn it all right. The NBA is being investigated by
the Department of Justice over accusations that they worked to
actually torpedo ice cubes Big Three Basketball League. Now the
NBA is denying those allegations. According to TMZ Sports, this
investigation was launched months ago, examining alleged anti competitive behavior
(25:39):
on the part of the NBA aimed at squashing the
Big Three's growth. I don't see why it should be
an issue retired NBA players.
Speaker 17 (25:47):
There must be some good money potential in there, because
why would they care now.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
According to reports, NBA owners have been discouraged from investing
in the Big Three while simultaneously owning a franchise. Referees also,
according to a source, says they've been told they cannot
officiate for the Big Three, despite some working for other
organizations outside of the NBA. So I'm not sure exactly
what's going on, but you know, we'll tell you what
(26:13):
happens with that whole investigation.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
All right.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Now, Jay Electronica finally has some new music coming out.
He put up a post on his social media and
he said it's album time. He tagged a whole lot
of us, by the way, in this post, like hundreds
of people I saw. I think quest Love said, I
didn't even know you could tag this many people. But
here is the instrumental Rick time.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
Don't have me to open my mouth until.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
It's gonna be good.
Speaker 2 (26:49):
By the way, he has been working nonstaff and I
know he's had not just an album ready to come out,
so it'll be exciting when it happened.
Speaker 17 (26:58):
This is one of your close friends to Angela. Yes, indeed,
you have any more insight you're gonna share with us
or no.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
It was supposed to have been came out. I can
tell you all that. Okay, all right, and it still hasn't.
Speaker 9 (27:07):
But are you executive producer others?
Speaker 4 (27:09):
No, I'm not.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
She's a silent ep of this.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
We all right now.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Buster Rhymes has also confirmed a new Blockbuster album produced
by Pharrell, Timberland and Swiss Beats. He announced this in
an Instagram post that had a zoom with all four
of them on it. And it's going to be arriving
on November twenty fourth, which is Black Friday.
Speaker 7 (27:27):
Okay, we're here for this Washington Rams tenth solo album, Blockbuster.
This project right here is exactly the produced by the
community for real, the Pharaoh, Timbo, the King, Swiss Beat,
the Student. I'm so grateful that you chose me to
be a part of your legacy.
Speaker 9 (27:45):
You really feel illuminated.
Speaker 16 (27:48):
This illumination is good because I think two people are
gonna be able to get and feel that.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
All right, well, looking to all this great music coming out. No,
and that is your Yet when we come back, we
have a under the radar. These are the stories that
are not necessarily in the headlines. They are flying under
the radar. For instance, Panera is being sued by the
family of a student who died after drinking their quote
dangerous lemonade.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Will tell you about that. It's way up at Angela
Yee under the radars.
Speaker 7 (28:14):
Next, yeah, news, This in the news that relates to you.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
It's way up at Angela Ye Angela Yee. Jasmine brand
is here.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
I'm not just any brand on my own brand.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
Maynos here, No, may not right.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
And we're going under the radar for the stories that
are not necessarily.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
In the headlines.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Now, the family of a twenty one year old who
died after consuming Panera breadge Charge lemonade is suing. According
to the family, they feel that the chain failed to
appropriately warn customers about what they claim is a dangerous
energy drink. This complaint was fouled in Philadelphia and the
quart of Common Please, and they said that Sarah Katz
(28:54):
had a heart condition, was not aware of the drink
stimulant content, and according to the complaint, the stimulant content
exceed that of cans of Red Bull and Monster Energy
drinks combined.
Speaker 17 (29:04):
Can I just say that two quick things. I was
with a guy that drank some of that lemonade and
he said he was feeling weird afterwards, and he was like,
it feels really weird. I feel like I think it
has a lot of caffeine. Obviously it does.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
Yeah, more than Red Bull and monset combined.
Speaker 17 (29:18):
There was a TikTok that lemonade, Yeah, charge lemonade. There
was a TikTok that went around a few weeks ago,
and this woman's talking about how energized she feels, and
and then she crashes after she drinks it.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Right, So it's three hundred ninety milligrams of caffeine equivalent
to six espressos. And they're also offered side by side
with other noncaffeinated or less caffeinated drinks, and the beverage
is advertised is plant based and clean.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
That's a problem.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
Yeah, So, and you don't think of lemonade in that
way either, all Right. The housing market, which has already
been a difficult, tumultuous time right now, is now saying
they're now saying that a lot of home buyers have
backed out of deals.
Speaker 4 (29:58):
According to Redfish.
Speaker 2 (30:00):
To our girl Darol Fairweather, yes, about sixteen percent of
pending home sales fell through in September, and that's because
mortgage rates are climbing to new highs. It's at almost
eight percent for a thirty year fixed mortgage, and that
is crushing housing activity. Sometimes buyers are like, I can
afford the house, but then they can't afford that interest rate.
Speaker 5 (30:20):
Yeah, their interest rate is really high.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
So if you don't lock in a rate when you
go into contract, or your rate expires because you have
a certain amount of time to lock in a rate,
then you know, if you get to eight percent, you
might have to walk away. Yeah, all right, and yeah,
so with the housing prices being high, supplies tight, rates
are surging. Both buyers and sellers are scared right now.
A lot of people are like, let me just sit
(30:41):
tight and see what happens.
Speaker 5 (30:43):
That's all you can do.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Yeah, I mean, and you know, we just interview Darol
fair Whether, the chief economist for redfin.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
You should watch that interview.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
But she also did talk about not shaming people for renting,
because right now they're saying renting might be the move.
It's a lot cheaper than actually buying a home.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
And if you're not in a position to do those things,
don't feel shame about it. Just get it together.
Speaker 17 (31:03):
Yeah, I'm renting a place now and I feel like
I wanted to look at buying again, but eight percent
makes me not want to do it right.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
And some people will say it's less competitive, but there's
also a lot of less things on the market, and
you can also refinance later on. Some people do adjustable rates,
so that yeah, but that's not a given at all.
Speaker 11 (31:23):
All.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
Right, now, let's talk about pediatricians warning about products that
are injuring kids. Several consumer products are landing kids in
the emergency room more frequently, according to new research, and
they want parents, schools, and regulators to help reduce those
risks for things like electric scooters, curling irons, and desk magnets.
According to reports, the dangers of swallowing a powerful magnet
(31:47):
which is often sold, there's a desktoy. Children accidentally put
them in their noses, in their ears, and they come
in tens to hundreds. In these little sets where a
couple can come free and be trapped in the carpet,
a kid can pick them up. And so that is
one thing that they say they are worried about kids
picking up and doing something with and there's a lot
of injuries with that curling irons.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
Is that burn hasard for young kids.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
They're saying those go up to as high as four
hundred and fifty degrees fahrenheit within minutes, and according to reports,
they were about thirty one thousand burn injuries from hairstyling
tools among people ages twenty four and younger from twenty
thirteen to twenty twenty two. I definitely have some burn marks,
scars on my arm.
Speaker 5 (32:26):
I have burnmark's mind from putting stuff in and out
the oven.
Speaker 9 (32:29):
I think brands all women.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Though, yeah, I have Look, I have scars right here
forehead more forehead.
Speaker 5 (32:37):
Definitely your bag.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Got to put some some cocoa butter on that. All right, Well,
that is your under the radar and don't forget. Devin
Haney is going to be joining us today. He has
a fight coming up in San Francisco again to Regis
Progray and so we're going to talk about that. That
press conference was intense, but he'll be joining us also.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
The Way Up mix is at the top of the hour.
It is a Tuesday. We are going way up. It's
way up at the Angeluy.
Speaker 17 (33:00):
Just like the taut like they Angela Jean, like they
Angela Jean.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
And she's spilling it all. This is yeaty way up.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
What's up his way up at Angela Yee? I'm Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
Jasmine brand is here, yes, Meno is here and let's
get into this yeat now Dwight Howard. Radar Online has
some exclusive documents. Dwight Howard is fighting to get this
sexual assault lawsuit thrown out. He denies that he sexually
assaulted Harper or force him to receive or perform any
sexual acts now for Harper's behalf, he did submit text
(33:35):
messages and an Uber receipt from July nineteenth, twenty twenty
one to prove.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
That he did.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
He did indeed visit Dwight Howard's home, all right, So
Dwight Howard says that everything that happened there was consensual.
It was him, it was Harper, and then it was
a kitty who's kitty? A man dressed as a woman,
and Dwight Howard did admit that all of those people
were in the home now when Dwight Howard was on way.
(34:00):
But then until ye, we kind of asked because there
were some rumors and there was this lawsuit.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
So here's what he has to say.
Speaker 13 (34:06):
All the other noise that people say about whatever they
think my personal life is, that's my personal life. And
I would never make public statements about anything private in
mind when it comes to who's in my bed or
anything like that.
Speaker 2 (34:19):
But I did see an interview where you said the
gay rumors aren't true because those were things that people
kept bringing up.
Speaker 13 (34:25):
Of course they're going to say stuff like that to
keep this whole negative train going. We gotta find a
way to assassinate this man character.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Now on his behalf, I will say that Dwight Howard
didn't necessarily lie. He just said that he doesn't like
to discuss his personal business.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
That's not admit that.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
Obviously. He said he's not gay.
Speaker 5 (34:49):
Sensual.
Speaker 17 (34:49):
Well in this in this document he said it was consensual.
But yeah, we've asked him about it. He said he's not.
That's not he don't want to talk about his personal business.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Well, he did deny he sexually assaulted the man. So
that's really what this is about. The sexual assault case.
He wanted thrown out and he wanted dismissed. All right,
He did admit that he met his accused of Stephen
Harper on social media. And you know, we do see
that they did have interactions with each other, but he
does not.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
He says he did not sexually assault him.
Speaker 5 (35:16):
Where is Kitty?
Speaker 4 (35:16):
Is Kitty talking?
Speaker 2 (35:17):
I haven't heard what Kitty has to say yet, right,
but I think that's the missing piece all right now.
Little Baby has responded to speculation over this explicit video.
Social media users were saying that a man there look
like little Baby, and Little Baby is saying, y'all got
to stop using my name and likeness when y'all get
bored and the extremes MFS go to for clout is sick.
Ain't no mystery in my history on no level. This
(35:39):
is my last time addressing any kind of dumbass clickbait.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
The f is wrong with y'all.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
Angela, Did you see the video?
Speaker 13 (35:46):
No?
Speaker 4 (35:46):
But you sent it to me but I didn't open it.
Speaker 3 (35:48):
No you didn't. I did.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
It's for work.
Speaker 5 (35:54):
It's a story we needed to talk about.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
But it's a video of.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
A man performing oral sex and another man and it
says no little Baby on there.
Speaker 5 (36:01):
And you can't see them.
Speaker 17 (36:02):
You cannot see the man's faces, you do the guy
does have similar hair.
Speaker 9 (36:05):
Little playing with my man.
Speaker 5 (36:07):
He said that.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
He said he would be thinking it's funny. That's why
they try to do something thinking it's funny. But yeah,
all right, now, jay Z was sat down Miguel King,
and you know people always say, would you do the
five hundred thousand dollars or dinner with jay Z? Everybody
has these long, thin pieces about it. Yeah, here's what
jay Z said.
Speaker 22 (36:24):
God take the money only because people say, of course
you take lunch with jay Z because the wisdom that
you would get from him would be so beneficial to you.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
There would only be a matter you would take the money.
Speaker 22 (36:35):
Yeah, because you got them. You got all that in
the music for ten ninety nine, and that's that's a
bad deal. I would I wouldn't tell you to cut
a bad deal like I don't take the five hundred thousand.
Go buy some albums and listen to the albums. It's
all there. Everything that I said was gonna happen happen.
Everything that I said I wanted to do, I've done.
Speaker 4 (36:54):
And that's what I said.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
I said, jay Z would tell you to take that
five hundred thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
Yeah, all right.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
And lastly, Sherry Shepherd says that Cat Williams stood her
up for a date. She said on her on her
show that she got it outfit and everything and waited,
and here's what she said happened.
Speaker 23 (37:09):
You called me one day and you was like, I
want to take you out. I'm gonna take you to
play golf. I borrowed golf clubs from Kim Whitley. I
got an outfit to play golf. And I waited and
I waited. I'm not saying you stopped me up, but
I waited and I waited.
Speaker 9 (37:24):
What happened?
Speaker 1 (37:25):
I thought you were meeting me there. By the time
I got there, I was there.
Speaker 9 (37:30):
I thought I was stood up for many holes.
Speaker 23 (37:33):
All right, So we can do this golf thing again.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
Absolutely well, Cat Williams just messed up.
Speaker 13 (37:39):
You know.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
Meet there, Yeah, let meet you there? All right?
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Well that is your yet And when we come back,
Devin Haney is going to be joining us in advance
of his December ninth fight against Regis Prograde.
Speaker 4 (37:50):
You're gonna love what he has to say. He's a
mature for such a young man.
Speaker 6 (37:53):
All right.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
It's way up with Angela yee, Devin Haney.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Next, you've had a way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
That's at this way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
I'm Angela Yee, and we're going to have a great
time today because this is my favorite sport to watch boxing,
and we have somebody who is definitely one of the
most exciting boxes right now.
Speaker 4 (38:13):
Devin Hainey is here with us.
Speaker 14 (38:16):
Just ma'am, yes, ma'am.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
Don't do that ma'am stuff. Okay.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
Yeah, although you'll always be a little Devin to us.
So when I first met you, yeah, you were only
seventeen years old. We were just talking about just the
beginning stages of your pro career, the early.
Speaker 14 (38:32):
Stage of where we was grinding, you know, trying to
just be seen, trying to get my name out. You know,
that was the toughest part, you know, trying to get opponents,
you know, just trying to get off the runway.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
And I feel like there were a lot of rules
that had to change for you because you were so young,
But a lot of people did see your potential. You
actually went to Mexico first, right to Tijuana also to fight,
and I saw they were just recently saying I saw
a program I was watching the press conference, and they
tried to say that you paid to get like a
loss raised off of your record, So can you explain
(39:02):
where that even came from.
Speaker 14 (39:04):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know where it came from.
But it's just, you know, a new rumor. You know,
they always come up with rumors. But it's also something
to build a fight. So whatever he says, it is
what it is.
Speaker 4 (39:16):
All right.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Now, you do have this fight with Regi's Prograde coming up,
and that's going to be December ninth, right, yeah, December,
December ninth. And the big big deal about that is
just in San Francisco where you're from.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Do they do fights at the Chase Center?
Speaker 14 (39:29):
No, this is the first one ever. You know, this
is big for the Bay. It was all pretty much
my idea to go back home and make it happen,
and my team reached out to the Chase Center and
they said that they would love to do it and
they was excited for it, and that's pretty much how
it came about.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
All right.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Devin Haney is here with us, and I saw recently
with Chakurus Stevenson there was a potential fight.
Speaker 4 (39:51):
Right.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
You gave him an offer, but he was only going
to get twenty five percent.
Speaker 14 (39:55):
Yeah, not only twenty five percent. He was going to
get twenty year lot of money, and it was the
twenty five percent was going to be more than he
ever made in his career. And even if if the
twenty five percent was less, it wasn't. But let's you
say that it was it was less, he would still
get a shot at all the belts to be the man,
you know, And I think that would have been more
(40:17):
than enough with just that. If he felt like I
was an easy fight, like he said I was, then
it would be a no brainer to take it.
Speaker 4 (40:24):
So if you were in his position, you would have
been like, that's a good movie.
Speaker 14 (40:27):
Yeah. I mean I was in his position before when
I went to Australia and I took twenty two percent
to become undisputed.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
So this fight, you guys both are you and Pro
Green are both dizone fighters.
Speaker 14 (40:38):
Yeah, as of now, I went over to the Zone
with Eddie Hearn. You know, I did a col promotional
deal with them to make this fight happen.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (40:46):
I saw Showtime Sports is going to be gone soon.
I don't know what happened with that. I was just
reading about it. I felt like they were doing so
well with their box and matches too.
Speaker 14 (40:54):
Yeah, I mean, I don't really know the details on it.
I just read it.
Speaker 4 (40:58):
They're going out, great opportunity for DI Zone, I guess, yeah.
Speaker 14 (41:00):
I mean they said that a lot of fighters are
going to go to the Zone. But I know that
it's gonna be another player is going to come in
and everybody can't be fighting on you know, one network really,
So I don't think ESPN is gonna be in boxing
too long either. That's what That's what I heard. It's
a rumor, so I'm hearing that Amazon or something's gonna
come in. So another network is going to come in
and replace them.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
All right, Devin Haney is here with us, and then
a lot of the last fight that you had. Now,
these are two big fights for you this year, and
a lot of times we don't see boxers do huge
fights like this is probably gonna be this mone in particular,
It's gonna be really big for the sport of boxing.
But when you fought Lomachenko, there was some people that
felt like that fight, you didn't win it, and they
were saying you started off strong, and I definitely was
(41:43):
watching the fight, of course, you know, I watched it
I'm a big Devon Haney fan, so I'm always be
in your corner, appreciate no matter what, I will.
Speaker 4 (41:49):
Put my money on you. I'll put my money on
you for this fight as well.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
But when you look back in retrospect now at the
Lomachenko fight, right, what do you think of about that?
Speaker 14 (42:01):
I think it was a great fight. Do I question
if I want it? Not at all? I think you know,
a lot of the fans don't like me, so they're
gonna find a way to say something. If it's a
close fight, they're gonna say it's a robbery, in which
in reality it's not. You know, when when they say
they want to see, you know, good fights happened, competitive fights,
and then when a competitive fight happens and uh, the
guy who they don't want to win, they say it's
(42:22):
a robbery, But it's boxing. What can you do? You know,
those type of fights build character. And I learned so
much from that fight. I came out victorious. And now
we went to the next.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
Right and Maasin going to Australia to fight, and the
difference in what it's gonna feel like for you to
be at home, Yeah.
Speaker 14 (42:37):
Huge difference in Australia. You know, the whole place was
against me. In Vegas, the whole place was against me.
So it's gonna feel good to have, you know, my
my Day One fans, my family, everyone in there, and
the and the arena you know, supported and the chair
for me.
Speaker 4 (42:51):
Can you hear all that? When you do? You block
all that out?
Speaker 14 (42:53):
Wh Yeah, I mean for the most part, you block
it out. In the beginning you can hear, you know,
when you're walking out, you feel the energy and then uh,
once the once the fight really starts, you don't really
hear hear that too much. You hear mostly like the
merry voices, and that's what you hear.
Speaker 4 (43:05):
Do you know who's walking you out? O?
Speaker 14 (43:07):
No, not yet. I know, I don't know yet.
Speaker 4 (43:10):
You have some some plans of who you know you.
Speaker 14 (43:12):
No, No, I got some people in mine. I've been
talking to some people. But I want to, you know,
I want to say that I want. I want That's
what That's what makes boxing fun, you know, people want
to see who you're coming out with, what you're wearing.
Like that's like the fun part of boxing these days.
Speaker 2 (43:25):
So I never forget when Ray Jones walked himself out
that was that was I forgot.
Speaker 14 (43:30):
I don't think nobody. I don't think nobody did that.
Speaker 2 (43:32):
Since it's way you put Angela Yee and we have
more with Devin Handy the unified World champion and the
lightweight division.
Speaker 4 (43:38):
When we come back, it's way up.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Yeah, you back at it. Bring bringing the way up
with Angela ye is on.
Speaker 4 (43:48):
What's up? Its way?
Speaker 2 (43:49):
Put Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and Devin Haney is
here now. I gotta also tell you this, whenever I
see you on the blogs, Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 4 (43:58):
With some young ladies, I'm like, is going on?
Speaker 14 (44:01):
No, I'm just having fun, living life, just having fun.
Speaker 4 (44:06):
Yeah, there was even a rumor that you got married.
Speaker 14 (44:09):
Yeah, you know, I'm just having fun.
Speaker 2 (44:10):
That's you know, that's just it's not just who's gonna
walk you out?
Speaker 4 (44:14):
Who is he leaving with at the end of the night.
Speaker 14 (44:16):
No, I see, that's why you gotta watch the fight
to see that. That's part of it. You got to
see who I'm leaving with, who I'm going with you
to see It's all part of the show.
Speaker 2 (44:25):
Does that ever distract you, like your personal life is
there advertises when you're like going through things and you're like,
I can't even focus because I know for the typical
person and an average job, like we get really distracted.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
By what's going on.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
So I'm wondering, when you're in the ring and you
have personal things happening, how much does that affect you.
Speaker 14 (44:42):
No, I can't really say that it has happened to
me yet. No, I just feel like I'm I'm built
for whatever.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Right, And I also saw Javante Davis and I don't
know if this is true, but also gave you a
contract like okay, but that is the fact you said
that you want to do at some point.
Speaker 14 (44:57):
Yeah, that's a fight that I would love. I've been,
you know, calling for that fight for a long time.
But obviously you got to get past you know, Reagi's
progress December night and then we'll see.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
And there's no rematch clause for this program fight, right,
is that correct?
Speaker 14 (45:10):
No, no rematch. I won't be needing a rematch once
I beat him. He won't, he won't be wanting to rematch,
So it was no point in in the rematch clause.
Speaker 2 (45:18):
You know, it's boxing, and I understand like the hype
of building up to a fight and of course having
to talk crazy to each other. But you and of
course Stevenson even on social media, have had it back
and forth. When something like that happens, does that make
you feel like I'm not even entertaining this person any
further or does that make you want to fight them more?
Speaker 14 (45:34):
So, like one side of me be saying, like, you
know what, I'm not even gonna entertain him, and one
one side of me also says, I want to show
them that I'm that I'm really that on everything that
that they say I am, and I'm everything that I
say that I am. So it just really be I'll
be both sides with it. But at the end of
the day's business and you know, got to make the
best business move no matter what.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
So all right, well listen, I'm definitely gonna be watching.
You know, I'm betting on you. Me and Mano actually
are always betting on these fights. And so when you win,
so you'll be the champ. Yeah and two different.
Speaker 14 (46:09):
Yeah yeah, two divisions, two division champ, same time.
Speaker 4 (46:11):
Okay, at only twenty four years old. Let's keep that
in mind. Guys. He's having fun, right. I cannot wait
to watch this fight.
Speaker 2 (46:17):
I'm gonna wait and see who's bringing you out and
who you leaving with at.
Speaker 4 (46:21):
The end of the night.
Speaker 14 (46:22):
You gotta see who I'm going with, who I'm coming
out with, and who I'm leaving with, okay, and what
I'm wearing.
Speaker 2 (46:27):
And what he's wearing. All right, well, I love to
see it, and thank you so much for coming. You know,
I'm always a fan, so I'm always going to be
making sure that we check in with you as everything is,
you know, progressing. I also see that Eddie Hearns was saying,
maybe Ryan Garcia is going to fight whoever is the
winner after this.
Speaker 4 (46:43):
Is that something that's already.
Speaker 14 (46:44):
Yeah, I mean that's that's possible, as.
Speaker 4 (46:47):
Long as he wins his fight.
Speaker 14 (46:48):
Yeah, okay, as long as we both win.
Speaker 2 (46:50):
Well, look, he's not running from no fights for anybody
who ever had I feel like you really step up
to the plate and fight some of the strongest opponents
that you can.
Speaker 14 (46:58):
And I'm the only guy in the division that's doing that.
These guys say that they want to fight, but in
reality they just be talking. I'm really about making the
biggest fights happen, the best fights happen, and are proven that.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
All right, Well, thank you so much, Devin Handy December ninth,
we'll be watching this is on his own pay per view. Yes,
and you can also buy tickets right now go to
Ticketmaster the week of you can hit Bill up and
he got you ticket Master. It's way up at Angela
Kie Devin Haney ask ye is next when we come back.
We also do have the award winning advice giver I'm
Maino in the building with us eight hundred two nine
(47:31):
two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 4 (47:33):
Call this up with any question. It's way up with Angela.
Speaker 1 (47:35):
Ye are good?
Speaker 7 (47:37):
Since whether it's relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 1 (47:42):
This is Askee.
Speaker 4 (47:43):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (47:44):
It's way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. Jasmine
from the Jasmine brand is here. An award winning advice
giver Mano is here as well, and it is time
for y'all to call in eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty if you have any questions, we are
here to help. Hey, Bianca, how.
Speaker 6 (47:58):
Are you well?
Speaker 1 (48:00):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (48:01):
Good?
Speaker 6 (48:01):
So?
Speaker 4 (48:01):
What is your question for asking you?
Speaker 6 (48:04):
So?
Speaker 12 (48:04):
I have been talking to this guy for a few
months and it's like we're like pay stood together all
the time.
Speaker 10 (48:10):
But he's on the streets and whatever.
Speaker 12 (48:13):
And before I'm like, I'm like, worry, you know, I
want to make sure he's straight.
Speaker 1 (48:16):
Good.
Speaker 6 (48:17):
Yesterday I just found out he has a whole girl.
Speaker 12 (48:21):
So yeah, when you're talking for a few was like,
he's like, he's telling me, like I'm going through a
few things whatever. I'm like, all right, cool, make sure
he straight, make sure he ate all the others?
Speaker 4 (48:31):
Is he your man?
Speaker 12 (48:32):
And that's the thing we were a pastor to working
on that.
Speaker 20 (48:35):
We was working on that.
Speaker 5 (48:36):
To get there.
Speaker 4 (48:38):
Okay, so yeah, okay, right, So.
Speaker 12 (48:41):
He told me that he had a girl and his
girl's home and she's tripping.
Speaker 10 (48:45):
I'm like, what are you talking about.
Speaker 20 (48:46):
I'm hey, you got a girl?
Speaker 12 (48:47):
Who was Yeah, I told y'all growing through some stuff.
Speaker 13 (48:50):
Wow.
Speaker 12 (48:50):
I'm like, but you didn't think you had a girl?
Speaker 13 (48:52):
You know?
Speaker 4 (48:52):
They said that.
Speaker 10 (48:53):
I wouldn't.
Speaker 12 (48:53):
I would have entertained this whole thing period, My listeners,
Should I even entertain a conversation for an explanation of
why he didn't tell me he had a girl in
the first place, when we don't know all what is?
Speaker 4 (49:05):
Well, you know why he didn't tell you?
Speaker 2 (49:09):
Come on, Bianca, why didn't he tell you. You know
why why because he wanted to still mess with her,
so he didn't even bring it up.
Speaker 4 (49:18):
Did you ever ask him?
Speaker 12 (49:19):
Yeah, and you said he only had a baby mom?
Think he said he had a baby mom. Man, Like
I said, we chilling, like everything came wrong, friends, family
and everything.
Speaker 4 (49:29):
Wow, he really missed girl.
Speaker 12 (49:31):
Why am I being around your family and your friends
like that?
Speaker 4 (49:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (49:34):
I mean, look, he liked you, but he also likes
her and he's in a relationship with her. And that's
why y'all were just working towards being in a relationship
because he didn't want to be in two.
Speaker 12 (49:45):
So I said that was the case if you were
just trying to get something to you know, if I
wasn't there, because she wasn't.
Speaker 5 (49:53):
Just stated I I feel like he cared about you
or cares about.
Speaker 9 (49:57):
You, So what's a question. She didn't deal with him?
Speaker 2 (50:01):
Yeah, she wants to know how to move forward. Should
she move forward with him? You want to know what
I think, Bianka? I think it's on you now. Right
now you know the whole situation. There's no excuses if
you choose to continue to move forward with this man
knowing that he's been deceptive to you. Already at the
start of your relationship, usually not a great indication of
(50:22):
how the.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
Relationship is going to go. But that's up to you.
Speaker 2 (50:25):
I can't tell you because I could say, hey, bad idea.
Speaker 4 (50:28):
And if you still want to be with him, you're
still going to do it.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
But at least you're going into whatever you decide to
do knowingly take accountability if you make that decision. Just
understand that you've laid down the groundwork for what could
be a shaky start.
Speaker 9 (50:40):
Is you're thinking about a side piece? No, you thinking
about it?
Speaker 12 (50:44):
No? No, that's not saying if you were told me,
if you were told me the first place he had
a girl, I would to entertain this whole thing.
Speaker 10 (50:50):
Period.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
Well now he told you, and so now if you
wouldn't have entertained it. And the other thing is do
you want the drama that you're gonna end up having
with his baby mom?
Speaker 13 (50:58):
No?
Speaker 4 (50:59):
I just you're like, hey, I found out early.
Speaker 5 (51:04):
It could be a blessing this guy.
Speaker 9 (51:05):
Well maybe not. Maybe you think you would beat his
baby mother.
Speaker 6 (51:09):
No?
Speaker 12 (51:09):
No, sorry, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
You know what, don't add no more geome to your life.
You got a lot going on already. Okay, you can
find somebody who can be honest with you, because I
just feel like if somebody does that and tries to
get away with that, who knows what else they're hiding
and who knows what they're gonna do.
Speaker 17 (51:29):
May I also say that in the future, maybe let's
hold off a little bit on doing like girlfriend things
like playing. You know, like she did a lot for him,
she was talking about She's like she held him down,
don't you know?
Speaker 12 (51:40):
That's my that's my problem though I put too much
into strap that that's my problem.
Speaker 9 (51:45):
I can say that, what's girlfriend, Bianca?
Speaker 5 (51:48):
Do you think you were doing?
Speaker 4 (51:48):
Girl?
Speaker 5 (51:49):
Girlfriend?
Speaker 17 (51:49):
Things like what if I'm making.
Speaker 21 (51:53):
Sure you're street, I'm making sure you who in.
Speaker 12 (51:54):
My house and you eat before you get to work
and after you get at work, and I'm making sure
that you're sweep.
Speaker 4 (52:01):
That's wife.
Speaker 5 (52:01):
So maybe you know, slow up on that a little bit.
Speaker 9 (52:04):
You doing his laundry?
Speaker 4 (52:07):
Okay?
Speaker 6 (52:08):
Man?
Speaker 2 (52:08):
I was like, well that's a dug well, thank you
being here for you know what to do?
Speaker 10 (52:16):
Girl?
Speaker 3 (52:17):
Run?
Speaker 4 (52:19):
Okay, good luck, not a light jog.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
Run listen, all right, Well that was asking when we
come back, we have last word. That's where you guys
had the final say on the show eight hundred nine fifty.
You can also use that number for ASKI at any time.
It's way up at Angela ye.
Speaker 1 (52:37):
Take up the phone tapping to get your voice heard.
What the word is? Here's the last word on way
up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (52:45):
What's up? Its way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela
Yee and Dasmine Brand and Meno are here.
Speaker 5 (52:49):
Yes, yes, we're here.
Speaker 2 (52:51):
Yes, Yes, I gotta go talk at University of Michigan today.
Speaker 4 (52:55):
Well, I'll be there tomorrow.
Speaker 9 (52:57):
Really, that's that doesn't surprise us. This is what it's doing.
Speaker 5 (53:00):
What you can you give a little speeches, little teaser.
Speaker 4 (53:03):
You have to be there. Listen.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
I was redoing my bio yesterday because I wrote it myself,
and you.
Speaker 13 (53:11):
Do a lot.
Speaker 4 (53:11):
You have some updates, right, and I had to like
update it.
Speaker 5 (53:14):
I was like some stuff.
Speaker 9 (53:16):
I want to write my own bio because.
Speaker 17 (53:19):
You got a day now, So you got to add
that to your bid. Have to add that to the
bio for sure, exact that you have.
Speaker 5 (53:25):
To add you add that to the bio.
Speaker 17 (53:28):
I'm that guy, that guy I have to add the
executive producer. Yeah, yes, what's the name of the show
that you executive produced, Angela.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
My True Scam Story, and it's actually coming out in
November sixth on v H one.
Speaker 5 (53:41):
And this is the.
Speaker 17 (53:42):
First show series anything that you ever existed, So you
know what it's not.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
It's okay everyone that's on television. But I did have
a Facebook series that I created an executive produce, and
it was called Mastery of Comedy.
Speaker 5 (53:54):
But this is your faith first TV situation.
Speaker 2 (53:56):
Exactly, not to add there to my bio. So I'm
excited for that November sixth. But in the meantime, like
I said, you know, we're still outside moving yep. And
I want to also thank Devin Haney okay for coming
through today. His fight is December ninth, and that's going
to be in San Francisco, so make sure y'all get
those tickets. They actually don't ever have fights there, so
(54:17):
this is the first time they're having a boxing match
in that arena where the Golden State Warriors played.
Speaker 5 (54:22):
They should bring a lot of revenue to the city
with that too.
Speaker 4 (54:24):
That's a big deal.
Speaker 2 (54:25):
So yeah, shout out to him, and again we'll be
back tomorrow, all right, So everybody be safe, and of
course you have the last word.
Speaker 6 (54:33):
Hey girl, I'm talking about the topic today you're having
about March.
Speaker 12 (54:38):
I'm actually married to one trying.
Speaker 3 (54:39):
To get the force.
Speaker 6 (54:40):
This is Jessica.
Speaker 12 (54:42):
So if terrible, we'll be married to somebody like that.
So look at you and tell you what's snowing outside, bro, and.
Speaker 6 (54:47):
It's one hundred degrees outside.
Speaker 12 (54:49):
You could talk to him about today, tell him about
your day or whatever, and he will change the subjects
from you all the way back to himself. Everything's about
him and for him, Peo will Actually, you never did
nothing and you did everything. I mean, it was just
it's a terrible relationship.
Speaker 6 (55:05):
That's obviously why we're not together now.
