Speaker 2 (07:11):
Her remaining dancers have shared a statement and they are
expressing their solidarity with Lizzo now. According to the statement,
they said, we have had the time of our lives
on the special tour. We've been so honored to share
the stage with such amazing talent. They said, it's been
beyond special and thank you to Lizzo for shattering limitations
and kicking in the door way way for the big
(07:32):
girl and big boy dancers to do what we love.
You have created a platform where we have been able
to parallel our passion with a purpose not only for us,
but for women and all people breaking barriers. Okay, did
you I feel like they should have done this a
few days ago, maybe like last week. No one asked me,
but if they did ask I would be like, they
should have put this out maybe like last week. Yeah,
(07:52):
maybe they You know, sometimes I feel like people are
also waiting to see what's going to happen.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Yeah, because sometimes when you say something is a story more.
Speaker 6 (08:01):
Yeah, you've seen Beyonce shouted her out.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
Yeah so that was cool. Yeah, all right. Maybe they
were hoping it would die down and.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
Then it didn't.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Yeah, that's probably because things are getting canceled, you know.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Right now, they're clamoring trying to figure this out, and
it is important for people to speak out on your behalf,
because that's what some people were saying. No one's even
you know, speaking out in support of her. Yeah all right,
Uh sure, here's my way. Residency in Vegas will officially
wrap up later this year.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
So December is when it's over.
Speaker 6 (08:31):
Okay, Angela, you and I should go before it's over
this year.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
Okay, all right, now, if he pulls you on the stage,
no people, you on the stage, I'm asking you first.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
I'm giving it all. I'm listening.
Speaker 8 (08:43):
You know, I only got like one dance. I'm giving
it all. And they tell you a miss sorry, I'm
a body roll and everything?
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Is that inappropriate?
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Yep? And I'm gonna do it.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Okay, Okay, I said.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Some people now trying to act cool because they know
it's going viral. I acting cool certain times You're like,
this is about to go viral. Let me relax. All
right now, let's talk about Bust of Rhymes. Fifty Cents
told Buster Rhymes that the chain that he wears and
his chain is very big and thick. I feel like,
how does that not way down on your back your
(09:12):
neck muscles. But here's what fifty cent said on the
final lap tour.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
Too big. Who tell he had a friend.
Speaker 7 (09:20):
They're not telling them.
Speaker 8 (09:24):
He is hilarious. You got to tell your friends when
they look. Angela told me I look like a foot
lockered person.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Oh yeah, I came here. That's what you would want
somebody to tell.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
You she was wearing this. I had a striped dress
thing on.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
It was black and white stripes like oh, she looked
like she was telling you about a sound.
Speaker 6 (09:40):
And I came I came out and I said, what
do you think Angela's like?
Speaker 2 (09:44):
No, I was like, here, I gave her some I
said wear this instead, please. She told me, thanks Angela nicely.
The worst is that somebody tells you when you're already outside.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
This is like, girl, I have to be here. Yeah
too late.
Speaker 3 (09:57):
Now thanks a lot.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
You tell me before I leave a house. He could
take that chain. It is heavy.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
And lastly, Glorilla has clapped back at Little Duval, and
a Little Duval went on social media and said out
of Sukihana, sexy red Glorilla, Mary f kill and Glorilla responded, granddad,
why are you worrying about these young ladies vaginas? And
then Sukihana said, I don't know if I can. How
much can I say, lick Little Duval's groceries or go
(10:25):
to jail for the rest of your life, And then
she said only gay men can answer, so akeem.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
What's it gonna be?
Speaker 4 (10:36):
I mean, I might find my husband in jail. I
could a jail wife, all right, So go to.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Jail the rest of your life rather than do that.
All right, that's offensive too, definitely is all right? Well
that is your yet. That's pretty funny though, And in
all fairness, I don't even feel like people play that
game anymore.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
No, we don't. But little Duval knows what to say
to geting game. And here we are right talking might
a tour coming up. He's like, hey, I got to
take out these tour names.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
Ye says controversial things I feel like on social media.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yes, so, but I did see when he as soon
as he wrote it, and I saw I was like,
people are going to go in on him for this?
Speaker 4 (11:13):
Yeah, all right, he loves it.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Well, that is your yet. And when we come back,
we have about last night. Now I came, this is
your first time guest hosting. So about last night is
where we discussed what we did last night and now
hopefully you're in the position to be able.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
To position last night was actually a calm night, so
I will be able to tell y'all what.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
I did last night, all right, perfect, We cannot wait
to hear about it. Jasmine and I were of course together,
we'll tell you what we did last night. I had
a little walk and then I had to have a phone,
you know when you're going into a restaurant and an
important call comes through. So I was standing outside doing
a lot of hand gestures on the phone.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
And I was by myself at the bar.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
All right, Well, when we come back about last night,
it's way up with Angela yee.
Speaker 7 (11:56):
So about last night?
Speaker 15 (11:58):
Last night?
Speaker 7 (12:00):
Last night went down?
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Yes, it is way up with Angela. Ye, I'm Angela yee.
Jasmine is here, what's up Angela?
Speaker 3 (12:07):
Keem Woods, comedian extraordinaire.
Speaker 7 (12:09):
Hello, Hello, Hello is here.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
We're looking at all your cute little baby picture.
Speaker 4 (12:15):
Still are adorable, King, And.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Now we're talking about last night. Now you said you
had a very rated PG.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
I did so. Last night I was at the Just
I was at the Comedy Cellar.
Speaker 10 (12:25):
I had like a spot there like a midnight So
it was one of those nights where like everyone was out.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
So it was like Godfrey was there already, was there
those like all.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
Comedians by the way, you know Godfrey from up here?
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Yah?
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Monika? Yes, yeah, Monika's on what is that Life in Beth?
Speaker 4 (12:41):
She is the new season drop sometimes.
Speaker 10 (12:44):
So Ku Yest was of course was there, and it
was just one of those really fun to hang out
I didn't get home to like three A's Wow.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
So in New York City, the Comedy Seller is a
really famous comedy club where a lot of huge comedians
go to where it's not even easy to get us
spot hard.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
It's hard to get on there.
Speaker 10 (13:02):
It is, okay, and I worked there. Yeah, So I
was there last night and the crowd I had it
was such a fun show. I should have invited you
guys to come out, but I figured y'all have morning radio.
But you has a morning radio.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
So that's why I never that morning morning.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Can I just say I used to have to wake
up at four am. Now I wake up at like
seven thirty.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Okay, Well, next go out. Next time. I'll text you
and and let you guys know. It was such a
fun crowd.
Speaker 12 (13:22):
Though.
Speaker 10 (13:22):
I was gonna leave right after my sex because I
had to be here. But it was such a really
fun set, and I was for with this dude in
the audience, so it's like, well, I gotta wait to
see I gotta play this oute get here to the letout,
and I was ask oh my God, here's so Funy'm like.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Yeah, but where is the dude? I'm yeah, so what happened?
Did he know he was he was just visiting? Okay, yeah,
he was fine. He was an Indian dude with like
long he was fine. Okay, sounds fine.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
I feel like no one invites me out anymore.
Speaker 4 (13:50):
It was his proof of that.
Speaker 8 (13:52):
First of all, Angela gets invited out and then she
kind of doesn't want to go. Yeah, no, you kind
of don't want to go. Sometimes you'd be.
Speaker 4 (13:58):
Like, oh man, next time I'm there late.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
You know how people get so mad like they'd be like,
oh I wasn't invited. Yeah, people do that all the time.
But then you're like, you never come out anyway, And
I kind of don't want to go.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
Yeah, but I do it.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
When I do go out, I enjoy it.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Yeah, we have a good time. What y'all do last night?
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Well, I had a couple of zooms and then after that,
I was like, let's go for a walk.
Speaker 6 (14:17):
Yes, my idea, I initiated exercise.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
Do you guys live in the area and then by
each other.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
So she lives in DC, but she stays with me
when she's in town.
Speaker 8 (14:26):
Okay, right, I'm like her roommate, cute, I overstayed my
welcome all the time, I'm claiming her on my taxi
her dependent.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
But no, but this is what always happens.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
But like I said, let's work out, right, So Jasmin's
like okay, And then as it gets closer the time
we're supposed to work out, she's like, let's just go
for a walk instead.
Speaker 4 (14:46):
First all trying to get her drink. So then before so.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Then going for a walk instead of working out turns
into let's go get something to eat.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
So now it's not a workout unless you're eating healthy.
What are you eating?
Speaker 3 (14:57):
We went to Rosa, Mexicano.
Speaker 4 (14:59):
So no, so the whole workout didn't even happen.
Speaker 6 (15:01):
We walked to the restaurant.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
How far a walk?
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Like eight blocks?
Speaker 4 (15:05):
Girl, it was a bit of an incline. That is
a walk.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
So then we get to the restaurant and then she's like,
let's have a drink. Of course, and then we get
back home and she's like, let's have a drink. I'm like, Jasmine,
that's enough.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
Yeah, I go too far. So y'all didn't work out.
We walked, baby, that's not eight blocks?
Speaker 6 (15:22):
Hold on, we walk every morning and like and after
the show. So how long do you think we walked?
Speaker 4 (15:27):
Total? A mile?
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Yeah you were about to say two miles. You are
really overdoing it.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
No, I was trying to.
Speaker 8 (15:34):
A mile.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
Okay, I'm not going to give it to you.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Yeah, so that was it.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
I mean, you know, I think it's important to have
people around that encourage you to work out, and I
discourage you working out.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
It was good, It was fine.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
Yeah, it was fine.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
The guy forgot our food and it was cold by
the time we got it because we were waiting so long.
Speaker 8 (15:50):
I was like, and Angela doesn't She's very nice, so
she doesn't want to say anything. But now I said
tell him. Of course you told me to tell him. Yeah,
you don't want to say nothing. She I'm the mouthpiece.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Okay, well that was our about last night.
Speaker 14 (16:02):
Yea.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
Now when we come back, tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
If you don't know what this segment is, this is
where you get to call in and stay anonymous and
reveal a secret something that happens. Sometimes it's nice, like oh,
I'm getting ready to propose and she doesn't know yet.
You know, I'm bursting waiting to tell the secret. But
sometimes it's a lot more dark, and.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Usually it is.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
Yes, sometimes it's awful.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Yeah, sometimes it's well, I don't even want to get
into it. But y'all got some secrets on y'all?
Speaker 4 (16:31):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (16:32):
Yes?
Speaker 3 (16:32):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty a Keeme.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
The secret here for us is that we don't judge people,
so they get to tell us their secrets, but no judgment,
and they are anonymous.
Speaker 4 (16:42):
All right, I'm going to turn my mic off eight.

like I try to come at home so different because
I really wanted the relationship to work. But once I've
seen that it wasn't working, like I was in a
bad financial place. So I started as an only fan

Because every I've tried to communicate in so many different ways,
he showed me he doesn't want me, like every day.

You know what they say back then, they didn't want me.
Now I'm.
Speaker 6 (19:33):
What is your own kind of stuff you do on

Speaker 17 (21:34):
He's actually an athlete.

Okay, So what are you gonna do like later on
when there's no baby?
Speaker 13 (21:42):

I ended up getting filatio from her mother.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
At the wedding in.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
The bathroom from her mom?
Speaker 4 (22:36):
What type of mother is this a bad one?
Speaker 3 (22:39):
And what type of husband is So you did get
married though, no, and yes we.
Speaker 12 (22:45):
Did go through the ceremony, but we end up doing
all that lawyer, excuse my language.
Speaker 5 (22:52):
So you kind of called off the next day.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
So you did the wedding, but then you had it anment.
What happened?
Speaker 12 (22:59):
Uh to end up telling someone and I have to
go and hide.
Speaker 11 (23:02):
There for like a month.
Speaker 6 (23:05):
So did your fiance or whatever? She end up finding out?
Speaker 12 (23:08):
No, he's taking it for their grades.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
So the fai Wow, Can I ask a question? Was
it good?
Speaker 1 (23:18):
It was?
Speaker 12 (23:18):
It was? It was amazing.
Speaker 6 (23:21):
So he's basically saying it was worth it.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
Oh my god. I was scarious.
Speaker 12 (23:26):
But I ended up finding out the reason why she
did it because you never wanted me to marry her daughter.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
That's the way to stop it.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
A very creative way to get you not to Okay.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
She's sacrificed.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Well, thank you for sharing. Thank you, And he literally shared.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (23:42):
I think he's telling truth too.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
All right, Well that was your tell us a secret.
It's always a time with you guys, okay, fifty one
fifty and them. If you couldn't get through, you can
always leave a message. And when we come back, we
have yet. And it looks like Larcen Pippin and Marcus
Jordan are in La lah Land as they talk about
their upcoming wedding. It's the way you put Angela yee.
Speaker 7 (24:05):
They say, sooth in the rooms from industry shade to
all the gods apout. Angela's speeling that et.
Speaker 2 (24:13):
All right in his way up at Angela yee, Angela yee.
Jasmine is here.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
I'm not just ran on my own. Happy Friday, Angela,
Happy Friday.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
And AKEM Woods is here. We got you for the day, baby,
make sure you follow AKEM.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
Woods.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Yes, and Woods a k e E M Woods all right,
and we are doing yet.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Marcus Jordan is looking like he wants to marry Larsa Pippen.
Speaker 2 (24:39):
He found the one they started dating like a year ago.
And here's what he had to say when TMZ asked
him about it.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
What's the possibility of a marriage happening between you and Larsa.
We're looking for a lowcation. Oh, do you guys have
a date it's gonna work.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
It's in the works. And then she was spotted with
the ring on her ring finger.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
I think I thought he was kind of joking when
he said that.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
No, it looks like I mean they'd be bowed up,
and I do honestly, you know, I know Marcus Jordan, Yes,
your boy.
Speaker 3 (25:07):
I've never seen him like this, like post it up
like that.
Speaker 8 (25:11):
And they're definitely into each other. Yeah, but the way
he said it, I thought he was kind of joke,
like he's in the word.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
And I mean they are on boats.
Speaker 11 (25:17):
They do.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
They got a podcast together called Separation Anxiety.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
It looks like he's outside with it.
Speaker 6 (25:21):
They locked in, They're locked in. They locked in, Angelia.
You think you'll get invited to the wedding.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
It depends if it's a big wedding and everyone's invited,
then yeah, okay, good enough?
Speaker 4 (25:33):
All right?
Speaker 2 (25:34):
And speaking of and I hate to go from a
wedding to a divorce, but let's go to Britney Spears.
Speaker 3 (25:39):
Okay, And she has a.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
Prenup with her husband, sam As Garian. It looks like
she's not gonna have to give him anything. According to
their prenup. They said that he gets no payout in
the event of divorce, and he also does not get
spousal support, so he does get to keep any gifts
that she gave him and the cars and all of that,
but that's about it. And there's also so a confidentiality
clause in the prenup, so he cannot talk about I
(26:03):
can't do a book, good, can't.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
Do a movie.
Speaker 8 (26:06):
Good for Brittany, I like her protecting herself. He's cute, though,
he's fine. I was just about to say that he's
very fine.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
He's available, guys.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Yeah, okay, Sam's lawyer though Neil Hurst did file divorce documents,
was just asking for spousal support. And there's a prenup though,
so it looks like they're about to challenge that prenup
as people normally do.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
Can you do that? Yeah, you can challenge it.
Speaker 6 (26:27):
Yeah, you can almost challenge anything.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
But yeah, the thing is, if the prenup is challenged
and he's successful in that, then that means the confidentiality
clause can't be enforced either.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
I don't want him to be able to spill the tea.
I don't either.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Can you imagine? All right, well, we'll see what happens.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
But he has to return any money if he violates
an NDA according to this confidentiality clause.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
So they weren't married for that long.
Speaker 2 (26:53):
Yeah, but they did negotiate and she is going to
write him a check and that's going to be that.
Speaking of more splitz, Justin Bieber has reportedly split, but
not from his wife, but from.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
His manager, Scooter Braun.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
That's a big deal.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
That's a huge deal because according to reports, the two
have scarcely been in contact with each other.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
They haven't spoken to each other in months.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
And he has a whole new structure of people around
him since he canceled his global tour last year. So
now he has a partnership with Lou Taylor, who's one
of the managers of Britney Spears's conservatorship. By the way,
he's replaced his longtime lawyer with a new legal team.
He also fired his agency, CAA, and he also sold
the rights to his music to the Blacks to the
(27:39):
Hypnosis Song's Capital for two hundred million earlier in the year.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
Bieber's cleaning house.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
Yeah, and they were together for fifteen years.
Speaker 10 (27:48):
They have a really long history, yeah, because he was
like fifteen when they got together probably.
Speaker 8 (27:53):
Yeah, but you know what, Sometimes you outgrow situations and
nothing lasts forever, right, Yeah, And.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but
he's also changed a lot.
Speaker 4 (28:02):
Yeah, he's clean a house for sure.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
You know, And so we don't know.
Speaker 2 (28:05):
I'm sure some things are going to happen that's going
to come out of what's going on. Scoo to Braun.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
You know, still does a lot too.
Speaker 4 (28:10):
He doing well. He fine, I mean, he made a
lot of money off justin I think he'll be okay. Yeah,
he's fine.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Yeah, you gotta part ways like amicably in a situation
like this. Yeah, all right, well that is your yet
And when we come back, we have.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Under the radar.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Now, if you don't know what under the radar is,
it's exactly what it sounds like. It's not what's in
the headlines. These are the stories that are flying under
the radar that maybe you necessarily aren't hearing about all
the time. But we still feel like it's really important
for you to know these stories.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
You know, you want me to give you an.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Example, Yes, give give us an example of.
Speaker 2 (28:42):
An under the radar story. Oh no, I try not
to do tragic things on a Friday but here's one. Okay,
they're talking about a new mutated COVID variant.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
Tragic, tragic. I'm trying to stay outside, wrong turn in
three country.
Speaker 2 (29:00):
But it's not as bad as you think, because when
you think about it, when COVID first started, we didn't
have anything to combat it. So it's a lot different now.
But we'll tell you about it and under the radar
when we come back. It's way up at Angela.
Speaker 7 (29:12):
Yee newsition in the news that relates to you. These
stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
Yes, it is way up at Angela Yee. I'm Angela Ye.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Jasmine is here, Yes, I'm here, Angela Akeem Woods is here.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
Hello, Hello, the food is here. I got chacolate chip pancakes.
I don't even normally eat breakfast, but they're pretty good.
It smells so good. I got some for everybody.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
Yeah, I have onion rings because I don't really like
breakfast food.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
Like that does not smell so good.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
All right, Well, let's talk about a new COVID variant
in three countries. According to the CDC, they said yesterday
they're tracking this new highly mutated lineage of the virus.
They said so far, only a few sequences of the
variant have been reported from a handful of countries.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
But you know how that starts.
Speaker 4 (29:58):
Yep, what countries does it say? Yeah, it's been detected
in the US, Denmark, and Israel.
Speaker 5 (30:04):
M damn.
Speaker 4 (30:04):
I was hoping it wasn't US.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
Well, yes, definitely US now and other news with that though,
they're saying that it's not gonna be like what we've
witnessed prior to this, just because you know, we have
the boosters right now we had, Yeah, so we should
be okay even if there's a spike.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
It's kind of like the flu.
Speaker 2 (30:25):
And I also so on the news today they're saying
to go ahead and get your shots and vaccinations because
of food season.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
Happening right now.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
Okay, all right, skip lagged American Airlines is suing skip lagged.
We've heard these horror stories lately, people who are in
the airport and actually cannot get on the flight because
they're cracking down on customers using skip blag. You're supposed
to lie when they ask you did you buy this
ticket on skip blag and say no, I did not came.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
Have you used skip blaged ever?
Speaker 14 (30:54):
Girl?
Speaker 5 (30:54):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (30:55):
What are you gonna do?
Speaker 10 (30:56):
I don't use it often. I used it back when
I was broke. Now that I'm broke adjacent, I don't
less broke. I don't use it anymore. I only Delta.
But back before, when I was traveling a lot, you
skip black all the time.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
I forgot about SKIP definitely used to get And the
thing about skip blaged is when you use it, you
cannot check a bag.
Speaker 4 (31:15):
At all because you're getting off, because.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
You won't get your back.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
And so there was one instance where they made somebody
actually buy a ticket at the airport to be able
to get on the flight, and they canceled their their ticket.
Speaker 4 (31:27):
They bought from skiplag though.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
Huh, how did they know they can tell by I
guess I don't know how they can tell, but they're
you're instructed to lie. And then they say that if
they find out that you lie, because you know how
you have a connecting flight and people get off and
then don't get on the connecting flight because that's what
skip blagged is, they'll ban you from that airline.
Speaker 6 (31:47):
That Really, I don't want to be banned from rightline.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
See, I stopped doing skip like this was like maybe
four or five years ago.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
So American Airlines is suing, and they filed that lawsuit yesterday.
That's one month after they made headlines for punishing a
teenager for trying to use skip lag Both United and
Southwest have suited skip blagged in the past, but they
accused skip blacked of deceiving travelers by selling American Airlines
flights without a proper agency agreement, putting the tickets at
immediate risk of invalidation, and also copyright infrigement over its
(32:14):
use of American Airlines logos.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
I'm surprised they haven't done that sooner.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
Yeah, I guess it's been more and more of an issue, right,
you know, But those are what they call hidden city tickets.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
I thought it was just a life hack.
Speaker 4 (32:26):
I thought it was. That's that's how I used it
for years. Listen.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
I definitely it's been a good run. We had a
nice run.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
They also do hotel rooms, so I still do sometimes
book hotel rooms there. But all right, now, what city
has the worst traffic in the United States?
Speaker 16 (32:41):
Right?
Speaker 2 (32:42):
If you guys had to guess, what is the city
with the number one worst traffic with the highest traffic delays.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
I know this story because I sent it in so
I won't guess.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
Okay, so you don't guess.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
I think Atlanta, Atlanta.
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Okay, Atlanta's not even in the top ten. Yeah, really,
yeah they are last.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
It's ten.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
Yea there ten.
Speaker 2 (32:58):

Speaker 3 (33:08):
That's you're stuck in traffic.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
Actually, Boston is number two, New York City's number three,
Philly is number four. You guys are listening to then Miami, La,
San Francisco, DC, Houston.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
And Atlanta.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Atlanta's last heard. Atlanta has really bad traffic.
Speaker 8 (33:23):
I mean it's still bad. It's still made the top ten. Yeah,
I'm not surprised about New York at all. Obviously I
thought New York would be higher, but I never drive here.
Speaker 4 (33:31):
I lived in La and it was traffic was bad.
Oh La is terrible, Yeah, La La.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
I think the worst places are places also where they
don't have a subway system, like at least New York
has a transit system that so you don't have to drive. Yeah,
all right, well that is you're under the radar and
now Cranium is going to be joining us today, which
I'm really excited about, So get ready for his interview.

which we normally don't do. And he had a long night.
He was at the Comedy Celler last night, stayed out
all night and then came in here and eat it
and then complained about a plastic FOURK that he had
to eat.
Speaker 4 (34:47):
From because it wasn't a good one. It was a
flimsy plast It.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Was a flimsy plastic for yes, and nowadays when you
order food you have to request utensils.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
Yeah, they they sent it. It was just too flimsy
for him.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
All right, So yea te Joe Button is now going
to be working with Gilly the Kid and Wallow Right.
Speaker 3 (35:04):
Remember they had some beef.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
They squashed that beef and they're going to be doing
a podcast for the Ages. Now this all started this beef.
Just to give you all that flashback with Joe Button
had some things to say about Gilly the Kid's bedroom
and you know, the headboard and the window.
Speaker 7 (35:20):
I don't want to hear none of that money told
from you.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
The headboard is covering a very small window in your
primary bedroom.
Speaker 4 (35:31):
Tell us.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
Now, I love the fact that he said primary bedroom
because we're not supposed to say master room anymore or
master bathroom.
Speaker 8 (35:38):
Oh yeah, I guess that makes sense now it's primary
I like the show love to everyone that has a
small window in their primary bedroom.
Speaker 4 (35:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
And the headboard I guess could be lower so it
doesn't cover the window.
Speaker 4 (35:48):
They scooted over there. At least he has a headboards.
That's right.
Speaker 7 (35:51):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Well, after that, Gilly and Wallow had some things to
say about tape footage that they could potentially.
Speaker 15 (35:58):
Drop, and his man walked in. I've seen the tape.
Now you keep talking. In the next episode, I'm putting
it the they walked in because you was talking crazy
about them and then uh punched you in your face.
You fell on the floor and screamed.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
But ah ah, and they was got ugly. They be
going back and forth. My dramatic, my disrespectful. But I
love the fact that now they put all that behind
them and have announced that they're filming this podcast for
the ages together.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
So hey, some of that.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
There's a teaser for that here it is.
Speaker 5 (36:40):
First of all, let me just tell you something.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
He went off whites with no socks like he got
an egg condition in his sneak.
Speaker 7 (36:46):
Since being a hookah bar in Philly.
Speaker 4 (36:47):
Tonight they doing a loud part of the hookah bar
down South Street and Philly. Check them out to lose.
It's gonna be.
Speaker 7 (36:52):
Drumming doing Gilly Fast Part two. He won't be there.
I'm running the show this time.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
Make sure y'all come through all ticket sales go to me.
He'll deep here add you'll be a commercial and I
check him about talking about my wisdom.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Right, all right, so fun, there you go. They managed
to squash their beef and come together.
Speaker 4 (37:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
I like that all right now, rapper mc light because
that's what they call it on CBS Mornings. Okay, it's
reflecting on her legendary career. She actually wrote a note
to her younger self about being in this hip hop
business as a woman in a very heavily male dominated industry.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
Here's what she said.
Speaker 9 (37:29):
Though all looks as if it's going well, in your twenties,
you will find yourself wanting to disappear.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
You will find a.
Speaker 9 (37:36):
Business ruling with nowhere to go for peace or privacy.
It will seem almost unbelievable how at first you grew
to one fame and fortune, but your schedule will take
such a toll on you you will even consider walking away.
You'll feel alone, you'll feel lost, you'll feel afraid, but
your determination and faith in God will pull you through.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
And let me tell y'all something empty Light is very
well respected in this business and she's still to this
day working. I love her speaking. I love her speaking voice.
Her voice is amazing. When she's like the voice of
God and a couple, she get autun the voiceover.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
Japinitely does all right.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
And Tay Diggs and April Jones not only are they
a couple, but they're also starring in a rom com
together called The Comeback.
Speaker 4 (38:23):

Speaker 3 (38:24):

Speaker 2 (38:24):

streaming starting August twenty fifth.
Speaker 3 (38:30):

Speaker 4 (43:10):
Hello again.
Speaker 2 (43:11):
Oh, I don't know if you're saying also, but I
Kim is hilarious, just even just his little peculiar things
like I don't want a plastic fork, I need a
metal fork.
Speaker 6 (43:24):
I'm like nobody has, and he just kept talking about
it too, like he was so like, I can't do this.
Speaker 2 (43:31):
So I came, let's talk about you for a second
and your stand up comedy and how people can find you.
Speaker 4 (43:37):
Yes, please follow me on Instagram. It's a Keen Woods,
a k E. E. M. Woods.
Speaker 10 (43:42):
I will be at the Arlington Draft House, which is
basically DC and if you're in Baltimore, it's.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
Close but you're from Brooklyn.
Speaker 4 (43:49):
Yeah, I'm born in Brooklyn.
Speaker 3 (43:51):
Why don't you say from Brooklyn?
Speaker 4 (43:52):
You just say born because when people say that the
from Brooklyn, I feel like you're claiming Brooklyn. Like, yeah,
I'm from Brooklyn, girl.
Speaker 10 (43:57):
I grew up in Florida, so I don't know anything
about about being I was born in Bedside, but I
left when I was like two.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
I was like what hospital. He was like, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (44:06):
Yeah, I don't know. I have to go check my burst.
Speaker 10 (44:09):
I probably got family there because I don't know my
biological family, so they're probably out there living the dreams.
Speaker 2 (44:13):
But and what I love about a queen's stand up
is when he works, he's you know, he's who he is, right,
and he's trying to Yeah, very gay.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
That's not all you are, that's not at all.
Speaker 10 (44:25):
But I just want to I just want to say
that just the case someone's like, I don't like gay people, Well,
don't go to.
Speaker 4 (44:29):
My show, I guess.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
But I think even people who are.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
A little bit like shy, yeah, yeah, not wanting to
laugh at certain jokes, they find themselves being like, he's funny.
Speaker 4 (44:40):
They open up. Yeah, you're vary for me. First of all,
I didn't mean it that way.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
All right, Well you guys make sure y'all follow Akim,
which he's still going to be here with us for
the rest of this afternoon. It's way up with Angela
Ye and next up we got Cranium joining us. You
know I love some dance hall and Cranny. He was
an amazing artist and I believe he's going to be
an Angela Ye Day on August twenty seventh. If I'm
not mistaken, we're going to confirm it's way up with
Angela yee ye.
Speaker 7 (45:08):
Back at it, bring bring in the way up with Angela.
Speaker 2 (45:12):
Yee is on What's epics? Way up with Angela Yee.
I'm Angela Yee and Cranium is here. Yeah, the melody
God I like to change. Thank you, Happy belated birthday.
Let's see what sign is that?
Speaker 4 (45:23):
Is that a Leope?
Speaker 12 (45:25):
No?
Speaker 4 (45:25):
Actually, I like Leo's like one of the Yeah, I mean.
Speaker 3 (45:28):
Yes, Why are you attacking me already? I didn't even
say anything bad. I was going to say. I like Leo's.
Speaker 5 (45:34):
I think I think we had to lead after her.
Speaker 3 (45:35):
Yeah, Leo's think that makes sense. The Lions.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
Now you do have a new song out right, now
that is of course a vibe. Yeah, yes, ViBe's weekend.
I want to ask you a couple of questions because
the song is a little wild. Yeah yeah, but cranium
is a little wild, so you know what, what do
we expect?
Speaker 11 (45:53):
Right?
Speaker 12 (45:54):
So?
Speaker 2 (45:54):
What what inspired this song? Because I know you love
to party, I know you love to have a good time,
but I do you use condoms?
Speaker 3 (46:00):
Right?
Speaker 5 (46:01):
Yeah? Yeah, it's I mean, it's just a vibe meaning
like I don't know, I feel like I'm I've always
created music were it's just go off of home and field.
The beat up is such a cool fun yeah, just
what I feel fun. So I was like, where can
I go with this? And then let's talk about things
I've experienced? Because I was thinking about things I've experienced.
Speaker 3 (46:22):
So what are some things you've experienced that you talk about.
Speaker 4 (46:25):
In the song?
Speaker 5 (46:26):
Now, just you meet a girl who's not really from
like the streets per se and just not naive but
more like everything you see if to them, you know
what I mean? And I just wanted to create that
story like I feel like a lot of people experience
about nobody really talk about it more So I just
wanted to.
Speaker 3 (46:43):
Express that do you ever wake up the next day
and be like, what did I do?
Speaker 4 (46:47):
Yeah, I feel like I feel like I live life
and age.
Speaker 5 (46:50):
Sometimes you should make it fun and.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
You treat women well.
Speaker 2 (46:53):
You seem like you'd be very nice and fun to Yeah,
I'm a kind guy to hang out with. So I
want to ask you so because earlier and MANA was here, right,
but he was talking about the way that he like
eases into it to see if a woman is interested
in him. All right, So for you, what are some
things that you do so that you can kind of
ease into it with the woman to see if you
have a chance.
Speaker 5 (47:14):
Like I feel like I read the woman very well,
Like I could tell it for girls with me or
she's not with me actually feeling much's not feeling me.
I feel like I could tell okay, like I'm the
conversation wise, and like I'll hint certain things like slick
things just to see where I'm I didn't get it,
you know what I mean? I feel like that's what
it is feeling like.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
Give us an example of something slick you might say.
Speaker 5 (47:33):
And it depends on wont one do I want a relationship?
I'm just want if we just want let me just
be like, so I'm more tell you come by our child.
Speaker 7 (47:42):
It's very direct.
Speaker 5 (47:43):
I'm gonna just be funny. I like, y'ore gonna know
this nice old tate inn, you know what I mean.
I feel like a lot of people don't go there,
like you know, simple stuff like that to get it done,
because sometimes the buck unnecessarily talking doesn't make sense.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
Have you ever had a situation where you thought somebody
was just going to be someone you were only interested
in for sex and then you actually I ended up
liking them.
Speaker 5 (48:01):
No, But but I've liked girls that have not supposed
to like okay, if that makes sense, like married women. Yeah,
for some weird reason, I feel like it and a
girl who have somebody is so much less pressure on it, okay,
because it's like men for worry about like the phone cars,
I don't have to worry about them bothering me. I
don't have to worry about I just know what it is.
Speaker 3 (48:22):
It sounds like you can get an escort in that case.
Speaker 5 (48:25):
In that case, it's just you know, it's just I
feel like you're just like it's easier when it's just
it's just you knew exactly what it is. I just
don't like the confusion. I mean here confusion. I don't
like confusion.
Speaker 3 (48:35):
Has a woman's man never hit you up? Like, yo,
were you talking to my girl?
Speaker 5 (48:38):
Or I have a guy? Come one time? Honestly, but
I was the weirdest conversation ever because it was like
asking me to tell the truth and I was lying,
but I was telling the truth, if that makes sense,
because it's like, wait a minute, understand, way out of
that board, like that's not true like this, And the
funny thing is, I didn't even know if you had
that boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
Oh okay, you gotta let you know because you're okay.
If she's like, yeah, I got a man.
Speaker 5 (48:58):
Yeah, if you ever mind know, Like, I've met a
girl one time that told me the dopest thing. She
says that when she meets a guy, she tells him
that she have a boyfriend, even though she don't have
a boyfriend until she decided if she wanted and why not.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
Okay, I used to when I was younger, I used
to always say I had a boyfriend, just so people
wouldn't really like think anything could happen just and then
if you change your mind, you.
Speaker 4 (49:19):
Can be like I just said, that, but that's dope.
Speaker 5 (49:20):
I feel like that makes so much sense because at
the end of the day, you give me the clarity
to not get to attached.
Speaker 3 (49:27):
Right now, I'm talking to cranium.
Speaker 2 (49:29):
So let's talk about the song gay policy for a second,
because I thought this whole time, right, because I know
you loved the whole having side chicks and everything. But
in this situation, God policy was something different than what
we thought it was, right, meaning so you wait, were
you the side guy in that?
Speaker 14 (49:47):
No?
Speaker 5 (49:48):
Okay, you know what's crazy I about that song. A
lot of people think that song is I bought a
side chick or a wife, and it wasn't. I was
just talking to a guy. Okay, Well, everybody just go
to the powers afternoon.
Speaker 3 (49:58):
She can't call me, you know, because he right, because
that's the part we you know.
Speaker 4 (50:01):
Yeah, but I do believe in that.
Speaker 5 (50:02):
I feel like every man who has a woman there
should be some limit of conversation at a certain time.
Speaker 1 (50:08):
You know.
Speaker 5 (50:08):
It's like I feel like there's a time and place everything.
And if you do have a girl at home, even
if a girl doesn't know about your girl, which is
ninety percent of the time, I think you still should
still have that level of respect where there's.
Speaker 2 (50:21):
No I'm going to call that late and get him
in trouble because I already put myself in this position exactly.
Speaker 5 (50:26):
And I feel like, if you do have a girl
on the side, I don't think there should be a
situation where your woman have anything to do with that.
If the world could go, we all wanted nobody would
do anything. Everybody would have one person. But unfortunately you
would want that if one person my issues. Trust Yeah,
my sister, if you like him, one time everything goes.
I could be with a girl and I love her,
(50:48):
and I'd be like, Hey, this is the only girl
I'm staying with, and you tell me that this is
coffee when I know it's a chocolate. I'll just start
doing my thing.
Speaker 3 (50:55):
Okay, that's ridiculous for that little reason.
Speaker 5 (50:58):
Can you be trusted when I start the relationship from
the purious person, the most highness person, until I lie
is told. Once I lie is told, I could.
Speaker 2 (51:05):
Never Sometimes people lie, though, to spare your feelings, don't
spare mine.
Speaker 3 (51:09):
Are you quick to say I love you?
Speaker 5 (51:12):
No, but you will say it if I'm in trouble.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
Yeah, see, crazy, you're not making your case here. Okay,
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (51:19):
If I'm if I'm in trouble. Yeah, I'm not mushi.
I feel like it's something you feel. It's like I
was seeing this post somebody saying, if this guy don't
ask it to be your girlfriend, he's like your girlfriend,
I don't have to ask, Like who does that know
in this?
Speaker 2 (51:32):
Then he's like, that is so funny you said that,
because my friend right now is going through something. Her
man is at he's at Carnival and Grenada and he
just has gone like for twelve hours, not responding. So
she's been hitting and I'm like, well, it is Carnival,
maybe or daddy lost his phone. Yeah, So I'm like, well,
maybe he did not lose his phone, so I stop
(51:52):
making excuses. That's not what happens. But I'm like, maybe
he's out his phone died or whatever. So I'm like,
you know, just take it easy. It is Carnival, so
you know, Carnival gets a little while people are having fun,
and so she's like, okay, he's not responding to anything,
and then finally she hit him like all right, you
know you're doing your thing whatever. That's when he responded, right,
But the problem is that they've never established she's been
(52:14):
dating him for a year but doesn't know if that's
her boyfriend or not a year yes, And I'm like, well,
maybe he just thinks it's assumed like a year, like what,
they've never had a conversation. You know how guys aren't,
like you said, you're not going to be like are
you my girl?
Speaker 5 (52:27):
Twelve months? Yeah, that's twelve months.
Speaker 2 (52:29):
Sometimes guys don't want to put a label on things
because they want to feel okay to do whatever else
they're doing.
Speaker 5 (52:34):
I mean three months is fine. Four months, yeah, six months,
that's off a dozen, like you know what I mean,
that's a lot. Like no, I feel like you should
know after after that year. For me, it's like three months.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
I'm defly not using a condom after three months. No,
maybe not even the first time.
Speaker 5 (52:54):
I mean, it's so crazy because somebody asks me that's like, Yo,
why would you say that? Like why would you say?
Speaker 3 (53:02):
You go around like you just being honest. You're saying
things that most people will not admit to.
Speaker 5 (53:06):
I've took changes before, you know, I flipped a card
and put it in guysigns before you know, Like, yo,
you know, Jesus put you know, you have a.
Speaker 3 (53:14):
Lot of pregnancy scares. No, are you good at pulling.
Speaker 4 (53:17):
Out at least?
Speaker 5 (53:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (53:19):
Chance?
Speaker 5 (53:20):
That is really.
Speaker 7 (53:23):
It is.
Speaker 3 (53:25):
Everything else that's your biggest fear.
Speaker 5 (53:26):
That's one of my biggest fear. I see change a
lot of my life, and I feel like some moment
is like a hustle for them.
Speaker 2 (53:31):
It does take two people for something like that to happen, though,
so well, you know, don't let yourself get hustled eire.
Speaker 5 (53:36):
Exactly, so you kind of steer fire from us.
Speaker 3 (53:39):
Something all right. Cranium is here.
Speaker 2 (53:40):
His new song, Vibes's Weekend is available right now, and
it's definitely a vibe.
Speaker 3 (53:44):
We got more of him when we come back. It's
way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 7 (53:49):
You up with Angela Yee?
Speaker 2 (53:51):
What happens way up with Angela Ye? I'm Angela Yee
And Cranium is here now. You also are known to
be a good cook. Yes, so you're cook for a
woman too if she comes over. That's like when every
game and our work like come of our cook for you. Yeah,
like if you try everything, it's not working.
Speaker 3 (54:08):
I feel like, oh my gosh, but that is just honestly,
like a really nice thing.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
To offer to do for somebody, and especially if you
like cooking, because it seems like you enjoy it, but it.
Speaker 5 (54:18):
Sends around signal though she have a kidful if cooked
for sending around signal.
Speaker 3 (54:24):
Be overthinking things.
Speaker 5 (54:25):
No, I'm not overthinking.
Speaker 3 (54:27):
And you also can't eat every woman's cooking.
Speaker 5 (54:29):
I didn't eat from everybody.
Speaker 14 (54:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (54:31):
Have you ever had an experience where a woman cooked
for you and it wasn't good?
Speaker 5 (54:35):
One person? Actually?
Speaker 4 (54:37):
Did you?
Speaker 3 (54:37):
Were you honest?
Speaker 5 (54:38):
I didn't eat?
Speaker 3 (54:39):
Since you're really big on honesty.
Speaker 5 (54:40):
I didn't eat the food.
Speaker 3 (54:41):
What excuse can you have to not eat? I know,
I know she feels yes, and she's going to really
hate this when she hear.
Speaker 5 (54:49):
Yeah yeah yeah, and she's yeah, she's somebody that yeah yeah,
I didn't because I doesn't have a feel compatible so
I doesn't need it.
Speaker 2 (55:03):
But what are some other things that are like are
you comfortable going to somebody's house at all? Because I
know sometimes people are like, you know, if you meet
a woman and she's like come over, you know, it
could be a nice weekend vibe.
Speaker 3 (55:13):
You can meet them out and they're like come to
my place.
Speaker 5 (55:16):
There go to girls house?
Speaker 4 (55:17):
Okay, I mean I'll be watching my stuff in sinks
and stuff.
Speaker 3 (55:21):
Oh you do a bird bath?
Speaker 5 (55:23):
Yeah, I eat food, I go to girls house. Yeah, okay,
it's that different vibe. Yeah, I kind of like it.
But I'm just I just tell every woman wanting if
you have a boyfriend and your environment over and for
some weird reason, your mon pop up. I'm not going
through no window, I'm not hiding, no closet. I'm working
over the same way I came. That's just my rules.
Speaker 3 (55:45):
Are you going to stay nice to meet you?
Speaker 5 (55:46):
Or I don't know what I'm going to say, but
I feel like I'm not hiding. You know, for somebody
to be like your creating your cart in a closet,
that true win.
Speaker 2 (55:55):
Right now, I'm talking to cranium. You think you woul
dating another artist, like another woman who's an artist.
Speaker 5 (56:00):
Not, it's not my thing?
Speaker 3 (56:01):
Why is it not your thing?
Speaker 4 (56:02):
I feel like artists are very like there's a lot
of ego.
Speaker 5 (56:05):
That's one.
Speaker 11 (56:06):
Two.
Speaker 5 (56:06):
We are so weird that we don't realize that we
are weird. When girls were like, you're so weird, I
didn't get it until I try to talk about artists.
I'm like, yo, you're weird. Right, you know, but it's
like it's hard, Like name some successful relationship that happened.
Speaker 3 (56:21):
With Beyonce and jay z Rihanna, a sat Rocky.
Speaker 5 (56:26):
That's just starting.
Speaker 7 (56:27):
They have two kids.
Speaker 5 (56:28):
Yeah, but I mean I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (56:30):
And they dated before and then ended up getting back together. Yeah,
so they you know, and some people really prefer that
just because that person can understand what you have to do, right,
because it's hard sometimes to date somebody who is like,
why do you have to do that?
Speaker 3 (56:42):
Well, why do you have a picture with this person?
Why are you at this party?
Speaker 5 (56:46):
I think it's a balance of words. I don't feel
like I want to see time talk about music with somebody.
But it's not a lot like if you take the
reashop how much artists, you know, think about how much
relationship that's actually an artists and artists is.
Speaker 3 (56:59):
And I'm talking about we have a lot of Krishana
blue face. No, I'm kidding, there's nobody.
Speaker 4 (57:09):
But I'm saying, if you're way of it, if you're
really looking to it, nah, it's less.
Speaker 5 (57:15):
She said blue I'm dead. I like a girl doing crazy.
Speaker 3 (57:20):
Yeah, so that's the type of girl you would like.
Somebody crazy.
Speaker 5 (57:23):
I didn't like that, not say like that, but I
like her vibe. I think she a vibe.
Speaker 3 (57:28):
Was going to give her a hug like, I like her.
Speaker 5 (57:31):
I like him.
Speaker 4 (57:32):
I like beer.
Speaker 5 (57:33):
I think beer is dope.
Speaker 3 (57:34):
Ber was just up here.
Speaker 5 (57:36):
Yeah, I like her vibe.
Speaker 3 (57:38):
She's single right now. Her man broke up.
Speaker 5 (57:41):
Yeah, hm, I'm singlish single ish.
Speaker 3 (57:46):
Don't do it beer listening right now?
Speaker 4 (57:48):
She's what does.
Speaker 3 (57:49):
Single ish mean?
Speaker 5 (57:51):
Meaning not available?
Speaker 4 (57:53):
But I can be all right?
Speaker 3 (57:55):
Guys, that was cranny in a nutshell.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
No, but thank you so much for joining me. I
honestly always enjoy conversations with you, even if it's not
on the mic.
Speaker 11 (58:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
I enjoy when we have our off my conversations because
I find you to be very enlightening and I like
that we can debate and still be okay about it.
Speaker 3 (58:14):
So when is the new project coming?
Speaker 4 (58:16):
I know the song?
Speaker 3 (58:17):
You have another song out too, right outside right.
Speaker 5 (58:20):
No, it's just most like your old teddy soul right now.
Speaker 4 (58:26):
Is out right now.
Speaker 3 (58:27):
And that's about that was in Jamaica.
Speaker 5 (58:29):
Shoot Vida. I'm thinking if I want to shoot the
Vida for the remix too, because I just do the remix.
Speaker 3 (58:33):
So who's on the remix. I know you were asking, like,
who should I put on the remix?
Speaker 4 (58:36):
Who's on it?
Speaker 3 (58:38):
I love rot to me.
Speaker 2 (58:40):
Well, you guys make sure you took a vibes weekend,
and thank you so much Scranium for joining us. I'm
excited for everything that you have to come because you've
been putting it down I think consistently internationally, which I
think is important and making some really smart decisions. And
so I look forward to everything that's happening for you
in the future and right now. Respect and when we
come back.
Speaker 3 (58:59):
We have a yee.
Speaker 2 (59:01):
That's where you guys get to ask us anything you
want and we will answer any question. I'm here with
Jasmine Brand and Akeem Woods is way up at Angela
Yee eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty head.
Speaker 7 (59:11):
Since whether it's relationship with career advice, Angela's dropping facts,
you should know.
Speaker 3 (59:16):
This is ask gee, what's up? It's way up with Angela.
Speaker 14 (59:19):
Ye.
Speaker 3 (59:19):
I'm Angela Yee and Jasmine from the Jasmine Brand is here.
Speaker 4 (59:22):
Yes a.
Speaker 2 (59:23):
Keem Woods is here. Hello, Hello, Hello, Hello, and it
is time for ask ye. Eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty is a number.
Speaker 3 (59:31):
Charre. What's up?
Speaker 4 (59:32):
Hey, yee, how you doing.
Speaker 7 (59:34):
I'm good.
Speaker 3 (59:35):
How are you.
Speaker 13 (59:36):
I'm okay, I'm hanging in there. I'm hanging in there.
I'm blessed to see you another day.
Speaker 3 (59:40):
Okay, Well, what is your question, miss blessed.
Speaker 13 (59:43):
I'm just trying to figure out is it something else
different than I need to do as far as finding
the job. I'm out here in PA. I'm from New
York to Bronxton, York. And the only reason why I
came to KA is because I figured it'll be a
good start to get, you know, to reach my goals
and stuff like that, because it's so hard and starts
across of living in New York.
Speaker 3 (01:00:06):
That's true.
Speaker 13 (01:00:07):
I got four kids and I was blessed to have
one granddaughter.
Speaker 4 (01:00:10):
Wow.
Speaker 13 (01:00:11):
And I'm forty going to be forty one in October, Okay,
And I then selon look the part, thank guys, and
you know, I just want to do something. I want
to reach my goals, and it's like it's so hard
out here.
Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
Okay, So I'm trying out to cry.
Speaker 13 (01:00:26):
I hear you.
Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
Well, Chari, Well, first of all, you know, congratulations to
you on having a beautiful family, four kids and a
blessing of a grandchild already, so that's amazing to be
a young grandmother.
Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
First of all, what are your goals?
Speaker 13 (01:00:42):
I love interacting with people. I love helping people. So
that's the fuck in any job?
Speaker 3 (01:00:49):
Okay.
Speaker 13 (01:00:49):
So my last job, I was doing paratransit. I made
everybody feel equal, like I've never been in an accident.
I did good, right, But the only reason why I
lost the job is because I lost my car. And
I've been you know, lowering my standards trying to find
any job, okay, and they still discriminate on me, like
(01:01:10):
literally Wendy's burger king anything.
Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
And Charay and I understand, like you've been having a
lot of patience and you're not right now, You're like, look,
anything I can do with is forard facing, interacting with people.
And I also feel like there's a lot of people
that are looking for really reliable help right now and whatever,
because I know, even like at businesses that I have,
it's not easy to find people who are on time,
(01:01:34):
who are pleasant, you know, who are responsible, like engaging
with people who enjoy their jobs.
Speaker 3 (01:01:39):
So that is something that I feel like is very needed.
Speaker 4 (01:01:42):
Can I say one more thing, Yes, ma'am.
Speaker 13 (01:01:44):
Anything outside of what you tell me right now, the
best thing I can get out of being honored honestly
speak to you. I just pray that my message opens
up many eyes and ears in this world, because a
lot of times it's really it's still something who you know.
(01:02:06):
But you can have the background, the education and everything,
and they will still turn you away.
Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
And I agree, and sometimes I feel like it's easier
to hire people who you don't know, because that can
get messy. And I do want to say I know,
I work with zip recruiter up here, and they always
have a lot of job postings and they're always looking
for people to hire.
Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
So there's a lot of services when it comes to
looking for it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
There's people that pay to post their jobs on these
platforms because they so badly need to find really great
employees like yourself, you know. So I think that sometimes
it's not even just like you said about looking for
somebody who you know, and I know you have been looking,
but I would recommend that you make sure your resume
is right and together and to post it on these
(01:02:53):
platforms like a zip recruiter, and that's how you can
really make sure a lot of eyes can get on
your resume.
Speaker 13 (01:03:00):
But you know what's so crazy, You know, how you
reach out to people to actually help you build your resume.
I have not had no help with them.
Speaker 14 (01:03:08):
I've been there.
Speaker 13 (01:03:08):
I've been to the point where I actually contacted the
office for.
Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
The Governor, the Small Business Services.
Speaker 13 (01:03:17):
Yes, and I also went to the governor that was
governor at the time in Colindale, and she helped me
as far as getting food supplies for my kids because
I couldn't afford.
Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
To get it.
Speaker 13 (01:03:31):
Now we have a white governor and I reached out
to her and she never reached back out to me.
Speaker 2 (01:03:38):
I reduced, it's going to give you our email. You're
gonna send us the resume. I want to take a
look at it myself as somebody who is pretty good
at doing resumes, and then we're gonna we're gonna get
it together and then post it.
Speaker 14 (01:03:51):
Okay, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (01:03:52):
All right, hold on, all.
Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
Right, Well that was ask ye it's tough out here, though,
she was yeah, yeah, Her voice was definitely, Gee, she's
going through it.
Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
Yeah, I Kim, you know you don't have a million jobs.
Speaker 4 (01:04:03):
I know, I don't know. I'm I'm good at getting jobs.
I just get fired immediately.
Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
Okay, the doing because he's bad. You over here taking
valuable spots. Okay, right, well that was asking ye eight
hundred nine fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get
through it. And when we come back we have the
last word is way you put Angela.
Speaker 7 (01:04:23):
Yee to take up the phone, champion and gets your
voice heard? What the word is? He's the last word
on way up with angela Ye?
Speaker 2 (01:04:32):
What's epics? Way you put Angela Yee? I'm angela Ye.
And Jasmine Brand is here.
Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
I'm here, Kim Wadds is here, I'm here, I'm queer.
We're here. What a show.
Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
We're not going anywhere? Yes, all right, well you are
going somewhere. Actually I would be in Arlington, which is
basically GC. I can't streuss that enough.
Speaker 4 (01:04:53):
But you didn't get offended.
Speaker 8 (01:04:54):
No, I just want to say people from DC get offended.
Okay that yeah, that's not really easy.
Speaker 5 (01:04:59):
Well girl, it is.
Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
It's like fifteen minutes away, literally like ten Arlington, very
close to.
Speaker 10 (01:05:04):
So I would be at the Arlington Draft House this Sunday,
August twentieth, headlining due an hour, So please get tickets.
Arlington Draft house at Cheimoies dot com or Arlington draft

Speaker 3 (01:05:15):

Speaker 10 (01:05:17):
Yeah, so funny, so listen to me for an hour.
I'm very excited by the way. It's not clean at all.
So if you want clean comedy, girl, just my tickets anyway.
Speaker 4 (01:05:24):
Yeah, and then be don't show up. Yeah, because not
even make this money, but I take it anyway so
I can pay the rent.
Speaker 5 (01:05:30):
But don't.
Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
But just now, it's gonna be a very adult fun show.
Speaker 3 (01:05:33):
We like adult we do.
Speaker 4 (01:05:35):
I love adult, adult content.
Speaker 3 (01:05:36):
And Jasmine, you're gonna be in.
Speaker 4 (01:05:39):
DC, well, Arlington, I'm to DC.
Speaker 8 (01:05:41):
I'm gonna be just doing nothing, just relaxing, resting and
having my daughter drive me crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
All right, and you'll be back here next week for
a few days. And then Angela, you Day is next Sunday.
Speaker 4 (01:05:52):
I can't wait. Angela.
Speaker 2 (01:05:54):
Yes, I'm excited too. I'd be excited for the day,
but then I'd be so happy when it's over.
Speaker 4 (01:05:59):
It's are you gonna come this year?
Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
You gotta bring your daughter one day. You were pregnant
at one, Angela.
Speaker 6 (01:06:06):
I know I was pregnant, like a few.
Speaker 3 (01:06:09):
Days ago.
Speaker 4 (01:06:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was.
Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
This is my fifth anniversary of it, so it's always
free activities. When I got my own day, I was like,
I'm gonna actually do something with my day, and then
it ends up being a lot of work and costing
a lot of money to provide all these free activities
for everybody.
Speaker 6 (01:06:25):
I've been every year, Yes, you have been every single year.
Speaker 4 (01:06:27):
This is the fifth one. Yeah, I'm excited. I'm gonna
I'm gonna shorts have the legs out?
Speaker 6 (01:06:35):
Will Angela be having her legs out to?
Speaker 9 (01:06:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:06:38):
Shorts every year?
Speaker 4 (01:06:40):
Really? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:06:41):
Yeah, okay, I'm lying, Yeah right, I.
Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
Think.
Speaker 3 (01:06:45):
Man, Now I gotta come and compete with.
Speaker 4 (01:06:47):

But yes, that'd be amazing, and y'all have a great
and safe weekend. Eight hundred two nine fifty one fifty.
Of course you have the last word.
Speaker 13 (01:07:10):
Hi, I just want to sign the light on my husband, Leona.
Speaker 17 (01:07:14):
He's been working extra hard traveling.
Speaker 11 (01:07:17):
He's in Georgia right now for his job, and I
want him to know that I appreciate him, me and
his son.
Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
And everything that he is in my first family.
Speaker 11 (01:07:26):
And gee, I got a problem here. I got a
young lady I've been she's been living room for about
two years now. She's trying to cheat on me. So
I put a camera in the bedroom and I called
her making out with another guy. But my problem is
how do I get her out of my house? I
think I might have to go down downtown to get
an eviction note. So please help me. Thanks.
Speaker 7 (01:07:48):
