Speaker 1 (04:00):
The dude had been hitting me up basically trying to
get with me for a few months, and I have
been denying him. So I basically told him that if
he paid me seven hundred dollars, I would do it.
And he was like, all right, I'll get you the money.
Da da. So I get to his house, We're about
to do it. He could not get it up. But
(04:21):
what I did do is make sure I got my
money first, and.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
I literally stay there for over an hour.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
Trying to like work with him. He's like moving this position,
do this, do that, but nothing worked. But I got
seven hundred dollars.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Now why seven hundred dollars? What made you pick that number?
Speaker 1 (04:38):
You know? I tried to like bargain with him first.
I wanted a thousand, but he told me I didn't
have it. That was kind of the most that I
could get him to like break his bank, and he
literally like went into his safe and gave me like.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Six hundred and cash and and veiled the rest.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
So it was kind of like all I could get
from him.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Basically, have you spoken to him since?
Speaker 1 (05:00):
You know? Yeah, you want to do like a second try,
but I'm.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Like, he said, no, real baby, It didn't work.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
I'm like, right, no, I don't think I will do
it again. But I definitely feel like the money that
I got in the situation. It was like, Okay, it
wasn't as bad as I thought it was.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
You didn't have to do anything. Could have been way worse.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
Yeah, I wish Mayna was there so I could tell him.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Oh my gosh, I'm sure he's gonna I'm sure he's
gonna see this.
Speaker 2 (05:35):
And I don't know if you wish he was here
for that, because you know.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Yeah, he can't be a little judge.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
Well, thank you for sharing. That was the easiest of
one hundred dollars you ever made.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
I thank you for not judging me.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I know that's the whole point of this. It's no
judgment or exactly.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
So keep doing you and I appreciate all that you
do for a woman and all the positivity.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
That you bring.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Thank you so much. Thank you for calling, of course
to share. Hey, what's up, anonymous caller? How are you?
I'm good. You want to tell it's a secret.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
I wear shoes.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Oh, you wear a lyft in your shoes? Okay? How
tall are you?
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Like?
Speaker 4 (06:12):
Five three?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Okay? You're my height? Okay. And with the lyft, how
tall are you?
Speaker 4 (06:17):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Do you normally date taller women?
Speaker 5 (06:23):
No?
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Date small?
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Okay, So why do you wear the lift? You just
want to appear taller.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
Yeah, it's like a walking around without them. It feels
like super weird.
Speaker 3 (06:34):
All right, all right, it's like kind of like when
we wear waist trainers and stuff. It's like a padded
bra for your feet. Yeah, okay, all right, well, thank
you for sharing. That was tell us a secret eight
hundred nine fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get through.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
And here is Jay co workout. That's what I need
to do today.
Speaker 6 (06:56):
It's way up alright, everbody with it's relationship career advice.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Angela's dropping facts. What's up? This way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
I'm Angela Yee And it is time for you guys
to ask any question that you want. We are here
to help. Eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty.
We have three What is your question?
Speaker 6 (07:17):
I want to know if I should let my daughter
she's almost to see her grandmother on her father's side.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Okay, what would be the reason that you wouldn't allow that?
Speaker 6 (07:27):
So when my daughter was two months, I came to
the state to visit, and while I was almoternatively you visiting,
I got court papers about half custody telling me that
I can't go back to the state that I'm from,
and I had to go to court so I can
prove that I didn't stay here when I had her.
(07:49):
And I just don't feel comfortable with her being around
my daughter after she did that. Before on that I
was letting my daughter go over there without me and everything,
and she did that, and I just don't feel comfortable.
But her father thinks I'm being mean and that his
mother deserves to see her.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
You should definitely let your child see their grandmother. That's family.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
She's never done anything to harm your child, right But
I understand you feeling a little warried because she puts
you through a lot, and so now you feel like, Okay,
I don't know what she might try to pull next,
but it seems like you guys have to work on
building rebuilding your relationship because that's still her grandmother and
you're not concerned about her like doing anything harmful right now.
Speaker 6 (08:32):
I'm not to be honest, I said that she can
see the baby. It's just that I don't feel comfortable
going over her house. I'm like, we can meet in public,
you can even come over here until I feel comfortable.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Okay, Well that's fair, I think, and I was going
to say that too. You should be there until you
feel comfortable as you guys are rebuilding your relationship. So
what I would do is say, look, it's an open
door if you want to come over here and see
your grandchild. And then once we rebuild and I feel
like more confident because it's your child at the end
(09:05):
of the day, and I know you want to do
what's best for your child, but you also want to
make sure that you're comfortable. So I would say, open door,
you know, come over here, and then once we feel
like we're on better terms and I'm feeling a lot
more stable and secure, then we can work on making
that next step happen.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
But I just need you to work.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
With me, right, That's exactly how I feel. But she
don't want it that way. She just wants the baby
without me around.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Well that's on her. Like that now, you put it
out there. If she chooses not to do that, then
that's on her. But you can't be being nasty about it.
Be nice like, listen, I'm not I'm really not.
Speaker 6 (09:41):
I'm trying to meet a halfway. I'm like, you can
come over, we can meet places. I sent her text messages.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Okay, I think the videos.
Speaker 6 (09:48):
Are the baby. She still won't repine.
Speaker 3 (09:50):
Yeah, no, she has to respect that and she has
to know why it's that way, right, all right, Well,
good luck, but again, you got to do what's best
for your family.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Thank you, all right, take care. That was ask ye.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is a
number in case you couldn't get through. We would love
to hear from you. You can always leave a message. I
can also answer your question that way. And right now,
let's get into some Rihanna. Here is Umbrella Ella with
Rihanna and jay z is Way up.
Speaker 5 (10:18):
Take up the phone, Tapian to get your voice heard.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
What the word is?
Speaker 2 (10:23):
He is the last word on Way Up with Angela Yee?
Speaker 3 (10:26):
What's up as Way Up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela
Yee and thank you for joining me on a President's Day.
It was really fun hanging out with you guys, listening
to a lot of music, and of course working even
though it's a holiday and the banks of clothes. But
you know what, don't we all work all the time.
Just make sure you take a little time for some
self care and for some fun. And of course you
guys have the last word. It's eight hundred two nine
(10:46):
two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
So I got a secret. I used to play college
baseball at a prominent school, and my roommate, he had
the audacity, asked me if I was autistic or on
the spectrum. So when he left it for class one day,
I took his baseball shirt that we were to practice,
you know, and after that took a nice dookie. I
(11:09):
cleaned up with it a little bit on the inside
of the shirt, like right around the collar, you know,
And then he ended up wearing that same.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Shirt to practice.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
You moaning it, man, Me and my wife listened to you,
every one of it. Man, I just wanted to say,
that's to the best in Chicago, man.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
The best in Chicago.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
Even my kids love you know, we listen to you
on the radio. Man, Keep doing what you're doing.
