This is all after there was another woman who was
saying that he paid some hush money, but he didn't
pay all the payments that he was supposed to make,
and she came forward with her story that she had
gotten pregnant by him. She had like a picture of
him in the hallway from some footage. Who all right,
So Rich the Kid said, I'd like to make a
public apology to my best friend, my lover and fiance

(07:32):
for any disrespect, disloyalty, or allegations of anything.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
I'm a grown man.

He said I'm sorry he publicly apologized.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Is he saying he did it? Oh? Got you?

Speaker 4 (08:01):
He's apologizing for disrespect, disloyalty, or allegations. Okay, you think
she said I want you to publicly do this since
all this stuff is publicly out there, or you think
he just was like, maybe.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
You wouldn't apologize for allegations if it wasn't true.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, at a minimum, it's embarrassing. So maybe
that's why she may have said, you know, you need
to say something in public because I look crazy taking
you back when you know you did all this stuff allegedly.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Or maybe she hasn't taken him back and he's doing all.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
This to try to get back.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Yeah, like, let me just show the world because you're
you know, it's still embarrassing.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Well, you just got to tell people. Listen, if you
think I did it, you think I could do it.
I probably could, probably did, and I probably would.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Man, have you ever publicly apologized to a woman.

Speaker 6 (08:46):
You haven't made? He'd be admant, Look, this is who
I am don't look at my phone. Whatever I do it,
I did it well.

We don't want to listen.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
To that now.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Tiger Woods has won a big court decision over his
ex Erica Hermann, Florida. Judge ruled that she must abide
by a non disclosure agreement. So they had an NDA
that she signed because she was trying to say that,
you know, she he was sexually harassing her, and that's
why she didn't have to abide by that agreement that
she signed back in twenty seventeen. But the judge said

(09:29):
that her allegations were vague and the redbearon that she
has had the opportunity to provide a factual specificity for
any claim relating to sexual assault or sexual harassment. However
she has not done so. And so yes, I wanted
to hear the messy details. Angela, Well, there's an NDA
in place, and that's why people like Mano and Tiger

(09:49):
Woods have NDAs. She said that he threatened to fire
her if she didn't sign that NDA.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
And.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Would you ever sign it?

Speaker 6 (09:59):
In we've all had to sign an DA's, I would
think I haven't signed then Nda P. I've never I've
never dealt with a high profile person, so I've never
had to do that.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
So nobody ever approached you with.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
Uh uh an Nda you know I have? Yeah, no,
I have not not to date, not to date. Okay,
but what'd you sign it? If celebrity was like, oh,
that's fine, yeah, because you're not telling nobody.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
Here's the thing. I can understand. Somebody want me to
sign an ndia because what I do for a So
I can understand that.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
And all you got to do is tell me and
then I'll tell it. Yeah wow, okay baby, all right,
Well that is your yet.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
And when we come back, we have about last night.
That's when we talk about things that we did last night.

picture of some people.

And this guy's name is the style og and he
has a video eight reasons women don't like nice guys.
Do we think that's true? Here's what he had to say. Yes, No, okay, oh,
I'm doing the wrong thing.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
I think we're supposed to be doing about last night.

Speaker 3 (11:43):

I have therapy. She had an hour long therapy.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
So while she was doing her therapy, I was like,
I'm gonna go for a walk because I wanted her
to have her privacy.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Because I like to cry and you know, c I'm
a crier.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
And in the past, she would like go rent a
space to I'm like, no, just staying in the place

I actually performed that one of those championship games you did.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
That's a big deal.

Speaker 5 (13:50):
Yeah, that is a big deal. Yeah all right, So
how are you helping the city?

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Just sometimes your presence alone is just great, you know,
just outside presence is the Yes.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
You know what we should do.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
We should go to all these different markets that Angela's
on and we should make our presence know.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
Yeah, we were just in Atlanta last week. Okay, forty
more cities to go into Ohio next week?

Speaker 5 (14:14):
Are you on in Ohio? Yes, we are. Okay, so
we need thirty eight more cities list. Yeah, it's a
crazy list.

Speaker 4 (14:21):
Forty one cities that were ones.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
I need to revisit. I know that's right for all
kinds of reasons.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Yeah, why are you doing your shoulders like that? Mayo
is kind of filthy.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
He's filthy.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
This is not a real place, man all right, Well
we and I'm so glad you said that because I
started off doing this. But this is for the next break.
Gurus of the gram speaking of Mano being filthy. Yeah,
and there's this whole thing that we do where we
address people who are Instagram gurus and sometimes they give
amazing advice and sometimes you can also strongly disagree. Right,

(14:58):
all right, So the style og is this guy's name,
and he has a video eight reasons women don't like
nice guys, And here's a little summary of what he
had to say.

Speaker 14 (15:09):
So there's a lot of nice guys out there that
are left wondering, why are all my efforts to be
the nice guy just not being rewarded in the dating game.
In fact, there are many reasons why women just don't
like nice guys. Nice guys often that other people, including women,
take advantage of them. You see, nice guys often have
difficulty establishing boundaries and making other people respect them. And

(15:32):
the thing that subconsciously women see when you aren't able
to do this, They see you as not having the
ability to stand up for yourself.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
This is one of the things. Yea, this is one
of the things.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
So what do you think do we not like nice guys?

Speaker 14 (15:45):
I know?

Speaker 6 (15:46):
Okay, no, okay, I think that I think that in
our younger years we do not like nice guys.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Still don't.

Speaker 6 (15:54):
I think as we get older we're like guys that
are not nice are headaches. They are a great time, right,
but then it's aligns into a lot of trauma, trauma,
drama and headaches.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
May know, you think you're a nice sit here's the thing.
You like, the idea of a nice guy. You don't
really want one?

Speaker 5 (16:09):
No, I like I want something. I want somebody in between,
like not super push you walk all over here?

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Yeah you want to?

Speaker 5 (16:16):
But man, are you a nice guy?

Speaker 3 (16:18):
In what way?

Speaker 5 (16:19):
In any way?

Speaker 3 (16:19):
You know?

Speaker 5 (16:19):
What play this, I don't.

Speaker 14 (16:28):
Just a dog.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
That was That was a very sneaky That was very sneaky.
Whoa old man old that was very sneaky.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
All right, But what do you guys think? Do women
like nice guys? Some people think that that's not true.
I feel like, once you've been dogged out, you're like,
I don't want to do this. Gosh, I don't want
to do this anymore. Fifty one fifty is Gus at
the Grand Way with Angela Yee.

Speaker 8 (17:02):
They taught that talk, but is a kapanagh. They are
Gurus of the gram Yes.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. And
Jasmine from the Jasmine brand is here.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
Good morning, Angela, good morning, and new Mano.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Mano's in the building and we are doing Gurus of
the grammar and we're talking about whether or not women
night like nice guys? All right now, According to the
style guy, he says that women don't like nice guys.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
Here's his explanation.

Speaker 14 (17:30):
There's a lot of nice guys out there that are
left wondering why are all my efforts to be the
nice guy just not being rewarded in the dating gag.
In fact, there are many reasons why women just don't
like nice guys. Nice guys often let other people, including women,
take advantage of them. You see, nice guys often have
difficulty establishing boundaries and making other people respect them. And

(17:53):
the thing that subconsciously women see when you aren't able
to do this, they see you as not having the
ability to stand up for yourself.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Now, we had a lot of conversations about this behind
the scenes. We did jasmine you like nice guys, right,
I like nice guys, but not like a pushover like
you know. I like a guy that's kind of gonna
be as confident, gonna stand up for himself. Also a
little rough around the edges, but nice to me, right,
But you.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Just subscribe the bad guy.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
No, be nice to me, be attentive, you know, let
me know that you care about me, do nice.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Things, right, But that's that's still a bad guy that
just does.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
Be nice to me. You can be not so nice
to everyone else.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Well, I do want somebody who i'm to be respectful
and nice to other people unless there's a reason not to. Yes,
you know, if there's a reason for them to not.
Because I also feel like as I can tend to
like walk all over you if you let me. So
you do need somebody that's gonna be like, all right, Ane,
that's enough calming down, yes, when you need to.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
But I want somebody to treat me like a princess.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
Right. But I think, and I reciprocated, y'all mistaken when
you say nice god or bad guy as somebody being
mean or bad to you. When you say women bad guys,
it's not about the way they treat you in a
bad way. It's about their mannerism to the world.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
Sometimes how they treat you.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
Because sometimes women, a guy can treat you so nice
and so great, and you're like, oh, he's a pushover.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Oh y'all don't like that.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
That's what she's saying.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
I don't like the two nice guys.

Speaker 5 (19:19):
I don't want you being super nice. Well, let's see
what the women think, Melody, how are you?

Speaker 11 (19:23):
Hi, am July?

Speaker 7 (19:24):
You are my friend.

Speaker 15 (19:25):
In my head, I can't believe I got flu.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
We're so happy you got through.

Speaker 15 (19:29):
I am so high high Jagna height.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
Good morning.

Speaker 7 (19:34):
So what do you think?

Speaker 5 (19:35):
Do you like nice guys?

Speaker 16 (19:37):
I do now I'm in my forties, but you know,
when we're young.

Speaker 12 (19:40):
Goer agree with Jasmine.

Speaker 16 (19:41):
We like the edginess and the bad boys, and it's
the type men and it's fun. But as you get older,
economal sut, I can take care of you and be compassionate.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
Right you and a sweetheart.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Yeah, so you're saying no, what you know, you're like
a bad boy for good reason.

Speaker 16 (20:04):
Well, when it's necessary, but to settle down with no, Yep.

Speaker 5 (20:08):
That's just for fun. That's just for play place.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
That's all like, good for it, that's all good for
you can't take them serious?

Speaker 5 (20:14):
All right, Well, thank you, We agree with you, right man.

Speaker 12 (20:17):
No, alright, best guy.

Speaker 11 (20:22):
Guy, that's right.

Speaker 12 (20:24):
Marcus Srby, Gay's right right by me.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Hey Marita, how are you doing good?

Speaker 5 (20:29):
How are you?

Speaker 1 (20:30):
I'm doing all right.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
So do you like nice guys?

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Well?

Speaker 11 (20:34):
I got a whole wife.

Speaker 17 (20:35):
But my thoughts on the nice guy situation is I
think that with programs to not like nice guys, since
like when when a little you know how Steve Urkel
and everybody like you watch all of those shows where
they dogged the nice guy. As you're getting older, that's
all you watch, right, that's all you watch.

Speaker 11 (20:52):
They dog the nice guy, but they.

Speaker 17 (20:53):
Go after the guy who is dogging them kind of program.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
For that gets smooth later in life?

Speaker 12 (21:00):
Did he did, right?

Speaker 17 (21:02):
But but he had a huge ego and stuff like that, didn't.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
He he had an alter ego where he was it
was another.

Speaker 17 (21:11):
Right everything to Laura, didn'ty.

Speaker 5 (21:14):
Yeah, he had a step that was smooth, right right.

Speaker 17 (21:19):
And even when Erkle had somebody who loved him, what happened.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
He didn't want her.

Speaker 11 (21:23):
He wanted the girl who was dogging him.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
That's it.

Speaker 5 (21:27):
Can we think of a show a nice guy one
can't be too nice out him?

Speaker 17 (21:31):
Look a look at all the nineties shows. A lot
of the nice guys got dogged.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
Out, like the Fresh Prince yea girls was he a
nice Guyton was a nice guy.

Speaker 7 (21:43):
He wasn't bad.

Speaker 5 (21:44):
Carlton was the nerd and yeah, right, right right?

Speaker 18 (21:48):
So I just think what kind of programs to not
like the nice guy? As we get older, even new
shows now they do the same thing where the girl
is going after the cool guy or the guy that's
not really thanks to them, and then the nice guy.

Speaker 17 (22:01):
They want to keep them in the front zone.

Speaker 14 (22:02):
So I kind of agree with men.

Speaker 11 (22:03):
Know, you want the idea of the.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
Nice guy, but you don't really want the nice guy.
What kind of guy you like?

Speaker 5 (22:08):
She has a whole wife. Oh yeah, thank you, Maria.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
No problem.

Speaker 17 (22:16):
I have a good day, all right too.

Speaker 9 (22:18):
All right, hey, what's this this divum too.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
We're about to be there next week.

Speaker 11 (22:27):
Yeah, I'm trying to come. I'm trying to come support.

Speaker 7 (22:29):
We're going to.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
What's that in my guy?

Speaker 5 (22:34):
So what do you think women do? Women like nice guys?

Speaker 9 (22:37):
Man?

Speaker 11 (22:37):
In my personal opinion, I don't think they do. That's
what I think that they might like it after you
done been the bad boy fool for six months at all,
you know what I mean, got them attracted and invested
that they want.

Speaker 9 (22:50):
Well, but after that, you.

Speaker 11 (22:52):
Mean, before that, you know what I'm saying, they want
somebody that's doing it.

Speaker 9 (22:54):
Going on here.

Speaker 11 (22:57):
You know what I'm saying, when I when I can
what I want to be, that's right.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
You got to not come home every now and then, right,
you know.

Speaker 11 (23:12):
That's when she's gonna go find a bad guy.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
And okay, see Divine, keep being a nice guy out here. Okay,
we know you secretly are all I think that women.
You know how they say guys like a challenge. I
think women kind of like a challenge too. Yeah, because
guys actually also like the women that they shouldn't also.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Right, and y'all think y'all could change guys you like.
I know he got I know hes a little rough
around the edges, but I could change him. I can
lock him down.

Speaker 5 (23:39):
May not like girls that ignore him.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
You're not used to it. It drives him crazy. I
don't think I'm used to that.

Speaker 14 (23:46):
You're not.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
You're not used to it.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
And then that don't think that happens.

Speaker 7 (23:50):
It happened.

Speaker 5 (23:53):
We had we had coach, we had a we had
a hug rub his back. That was your gurus of
the gram about nice guys.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
But I will say, somebody said on social media, Tony
Black said, don't get it twisted.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
Nice guys will turn on you too.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
Sometimes they switch up to prove a point, and they
are often nice to certain women as well. All right,
be nice to who deserves it. If somebody too, too, well,
be nice to them. There's no reason not to. If
you're in a relationship, why wouldn't you be nice to somebody?
And when we come back, we have your yet. Speaking
of being nice, j Prince wants young boy NBA to
be nice. Will tell you what he had to say
about him coming after Drake. It's way up with Angela Ye.

Speaker 8 (24:30):
The news news, This in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
Yes, it is way up with the Angela Yee. I'm
Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
And Jasmine from the Jazzmine brand is here and no mano,
it's here and we are doing.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Under the radar.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
These are the stories that are flying under the radar
and you need to know about them. This might not
be still under the radar, okay. Florida Governor Rond De
Santis is expected to enter the presidential race next week,
according to Republicans familiar with the matter, he'll be filing
that paperwork next week with the Federal Election Commission declaring
his candidacy, said they said. And he also has just

(25:06):
recently yesterday signed into law restrictions on trans Filberidian's access
to treatments and to bathrooms and also what pronouns can
be used in schools. So he also wants to make
sure that there are restrictions on gender affirming treatments for minors,
drag shows, all of those things. This has been a
priority for Florida Governor Rond DeSantis, And he said, we

(25:28):
are going to remain a refuge of sanity in a
citadel of normalcy, and kids should have an upbringing that
reflects that. Oh my gosh, isn't that scary now? He
according to the Political director. Senior Political director of Equality
Florida said, DeSantis has just signed into law the largest
slate of anti LGBTQ built in one legislative session in

(25:51):
the state's history.

Speaker 5 (25:52):
This is about to be. It's already a problem. This
is about to be a real problem.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Mm hmm. This is about to be.

Speaker 5 (25:57):
He's about to enter the race.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
And one of the other bills that was signed into
love by Desanti's prohibits transgender children from receiving gender affirming treatment,
including prescriptions that block puberty hormones are sex with assignment surgeries.
He also has signed other bills, including a six week
abortion band, a law to remove concealed weapons permits, and
he also signed held a signing ceremony for those bills

(26:21):
at a Christian school in Tampa.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
He's playing he's playing to his base, though. He's definitely
playing to his base, all right, But he's not gonna
be president though I thought Trump wasn't going to be president.

Speaker 13 (26:32):
You know what, you're right.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
All right now.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
A nurse has revealed three things that she'll never ever
do again after what she has seen in the eye
are her TikToker is at traveling nurse. She's worked as
a nurse for years, and she put up this video
just listing three things that after seeing it, she's like,
I'm never doing it.

Speaker 10 (26:53):
Number one, we're gonna start off strong motorcycles even with
a helmet on. I'm telling you right now, you are
just a Number two was propane tanks, and the numbers
have got to be wrong. The chances of a propane
tank exploding on you are literally one in thirty seven million.
But I have had three patients in the last few
months that all had propane tanks explode. Number three is

(27:17):
ever going to a chiropractor again. The main danger in
chiropractors is when they adjust your neck because your spinal
cord is lined with your virtuebral arteries.

Speaker 5 (27:30):
Okay, interesting, I've definitely been on motorcycles before. I've never
been on a motorcycle.

Speaker 6 (27:35):
I didn't have a helmet on either riding or you
was on a backo one on a back of one.
Have you ever been on a motorcycle before?

Speaker 4 (27:42):
I'll ru Okay, see, I know somebody who used to
work in industry died in a motorcycle crash. And then
a close family friend when I was really young, he
got in a terrible motorcycle accident. And to this day
he's never and now it is a long time ago,
he's never been the same. I've never been on a motorcycle.
I'm not getting on another one.

Speaker 5 (28:02):
I'll tell you that.

Speaker 7 (28:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
Well, this nurse says you're very smart, not too all right,
And she also has shared more things because this a
video was so popular on TikTok that she did some
other follow up posts, like holding firecrackers.

Speaker 5 (28:15):
Definitely definitely done that, wearing a seatbelt incorrectly, things like that.

Speaker 3 (28:22):
What's incorrectly?

Speaker 5 (28:25):
You know how some people put it like behind their back.
You're supposed to put it across you.

Speaker 11 (28:28):
I do that.

Speaker 5 (28:29):
I wear I wear seatbelts properly.

Speaker 6 (28:31):
I wear Some people I won't name names make fun
of me for wearing a seat belt all the time. Well,
she wears a seat belt like in the back of
the car, you know, yes, I do. I always want
seatbelt And she'll lay down with the seat belt on.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
Sure, Well, you sleep with the seat.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
I'll be out of here, but I'll be having that
seatbelt on, all right.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
And speaking of TikTok, the governor of Montana has signed
a bill yesterday banning TikTok in the state, and that
is to protect people in Montana's personal and private data.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
That's what he said.

Speaker 5 (29:01):
But he went to Twitter to say that.

Speaker 4 (29:03):
So Twitter's okay, and it's the first day to ban
that social media application. So the bill will take effect
in January. And TikTok is the specific target. So anybody
who uses that app from preventing that app from operating
within state lines. And there's a potential fine of ten
thousand dollars per day for violators, including app stores found
to host the social media platform.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
How would they regulate that, That's what I said. What's
on somebody's phone.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
Maybe the locator? Do you know how you turn your
location on your phone?

Speaker 4 (29:34):
And according to net Choice, they're saying that's unconstitutional. They
said the government may not block our ability to access
constitutionally protected speech, whether it's in a newspaper, on a website,
or via an app. And implementing this law, Montana ignores
the US Constitution, due process and free speech by denying
access to a website and apps their citizens went to use.

Speaker 5 (29:54):
I will see because they're pushing back on this. I
liked the idea protecting my data and also you know,
but I think any app or anything you're on your
data is not protected. So and they don't pay for
I want to get paid use my data. I want
to get paid for it. But that is you're under
the radar.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
And when we come back, we do have the Way
At Mixed coming at the top of the hour, plus
comedian and writer Josh Johnson is going to be joining us.
You guys are gonna love this conversation. It's way up
with Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
She's like the tout like they Angela Jean like they Angelajee.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Man, she's spilling it all.

Speaker 4 (30:26):
This is yet well, yes, it is way up at
Angela Ye, I'm Angela Yee. Jasmine from the Jasmine brand
is here and new Mano, Yes, Mano is here and
it's time for your yee t now. John Morin, it
looks like his signature sneakers are not on the Nike
website anymore. Oh, yes, this is all after the second

(30:47):
gun incident.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
The shoes were released on April nineteenth.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
They've been really popular, but as of this morning, the
sneakers are not available. In fact, outside of a few
T shirts, there isn't anything. Who Yes, they said that
they still have some color Waves that scheduled to be
released on May twenty fifth, and it's still in the
upcoming section of Nike Sneakers.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
App Okay, I haven't seen his, uh his sneaker.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
They're doing pretty well so and this doesn't mean that
it's over with. You know, we don't know for sure
what's gonna happen, but we just know as of this morning. Okay,
all right now, Black China recently was doing an interview
and she was asked, okay about what well this is
Karrisha please, and she was asked about who her favorite

(31:35):
partner was on Karsha Please. I feel like Karsha can
ask you anything, yeah, and you are going to answer.
Here's what she had to say, dated.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
You remember like I had a time with him.

Speaker 5 (31:47):
In that case, Taya no, I can feel that I
can see that.

Speaker 18 (31:54):
I told you y'all was like your relationship goes when
y'all first found that it was giving everything it was
supposed to get spicy.

Speaker 6 (32:01):
Here Angela do you have a favorite, but my partners
ever Yeah, I'm not gonna ask you the name of
but do you have one in your mind?

Speaker 5 (32:10):
I'm my favorite?

Speaker 7 (32:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (32:11):
Probably?

Speaker 5 (32:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (32:12):
Okay, all right, did you tell a person that their favorite?

Speaker 4 (32:17):
I'll tell you one that but oh wow, I'm kidding. Okay,
well maybe, but yeah, no, I know who I'm thinking
of in my mind. Yes, absolutely, I think it's always
the current. Person should be your favorite too, really right,
because it's also the most recent and you.

Speaker 10 (32:32):
That.

Speaker 6 (32:33):
No, that should not be your favorite. Your current is
your current, which is great, and I feel like you
should always have one, like, hmm, which one is your favorite?

Speaker 3 (32:41):
Not her current?

Speaker 5 (32:41):
I don't have I don't have a current.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
I do have.

Speaker 5 (32:46):
I do have a favorite, though, I think you think so?
You think so?

Speaker 7 (32:50):
You do too?

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Mayor don't even know who he knew with? No, I'm
I'm the favorite. I'm usually favorite. Oh so you like
your hand? No, he's like you like playing with you?
You quit? You quit? Okay, mane, that's quick. No, wow,
this is crazy new segment segment.

Speaker 5 (33:15):
But that whole episode is out tonight on Revolt at
a PM.

Speaker 4 (33:18):
Okay, all right, now, Halle Belly, she's talking about her
favorite and that's DDG.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
So apparently she didn't sit down an interview with people.

Speaker 4 (33:27):
Of course, you know, we're talking about The Little Mermaid
because that is set to hit theaters later this month.

Speaker 3 (33:33):
But she is enjoying life and love.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
She said, I think the best thing about young love
is that you're able to continue to find yourself through
this journey of loving somebody else, and you're discovering new
parts of yourself and maybe things that you didn't notice
before about your heart. Now, there were rumors, by the way,
that her and DDG broke up, but I don't think
that's true. And he actually is laughing about these rumors
and also about headlines that he's an E list rapper.

(33:56):
All right, website pop tings said, hell, Billy and Elis
rapper DDD are rumored to have broken up, and then
he laughed. He said, elis rapper kind of funny, not
gonna lie lol. E list yeah after Z Okay, Yeah,
that's better than Z list or F list, right cha?

Speaker 5 (34:15):
All right?

Speaker 4 (34:15):
But yeah, so get ready for that movie though. The
Little Mermaid is in theaters on May twenty sixth, by
the way.

Speaker 3 (34:21):
Okay, you excited for it?

Speaker 5 (34:23):
I am all right, and this was a sweet moment.
We just really like this. Ari Lennox was performing in London.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
She's on the stage and then all of a sudden,
everybody starts going crazy.

Speaker 5 (34:32):
She doesn't know why. And then she turns around and
j Cole is there listen to this.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
That's dope. That's beautiful.

Speaker 5 (34:51):
You hear everybody going crazy, You're like, what's happening? Yeah,
that's sweet. He just really just rolled up like, hey,
she was so surprised. All right, well that is your.

Speaker 4 (35:01):
Yet And when we come back, I want to talk
about a very serious topic.

Speaker 5 (35:05):
If you go to the all you can eat buffet,
is there a cutoff limit?

Speaker 6 (35:09):
Carcalog, don't start with this is a very serious topic
you Angela Ye, it's a very serious topic.

Speaker 15 (35:18):
Yah.

Speaker 4 (35:18):
You back at it.

Speaker 1 (35:22):
With Angela is on?

Speaker 5 (35:24):
Yes, what's up?

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Its way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
I'm Angela Yee and I am here with Jasmine from
the Jasmine brand and New Manoo and we're talking about
this whole thing about all you can eat buffets.

Speaker 9 (35:36):
Right.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
So at Golden Corral there was a very popular food
TikToker and YouTuber and his name mo Motion Moh Motion.
He said that he was at the Golden Corral doing
the all you Can Eat and they told him get
cut off too much motion.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
Yeah, are you allowed to do that? Apparently? If it's
in all you can Eat.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
It's not really all you can eat if they cut
you off then.

Speaker 4 (36:02):
Now there's a video that was viewed over a million
times since it was first posted earlier this week, and
by the way, he has three hundred and sixty five
thousand followers. He was eating a lot of food, burgers, shrimp, pizza,
mac and cheese, all of these things. He's actually there
for a qualifiers competition for a Glizzy Goblin contest.

Speaker 5 (36:25):
He is having a time. Look at his video. Yeah,
that pizza look good though.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
And then he filmed some people in there.

Speaker 4 (36:30):
They said, he said they were workers talking thereby fighting
his case, because I guess what they were saying is
that one person was saying, well, look he's really eating it.
It's all you can eat, and another person other employees,
were saying that he shouldn't be allowed to eat more.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
Listen to this real again, for real, I'm going to
go real.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
They fight in my case right now, lady right here
talking about I'm allowed to eat?

Speaker 5 (36:54):
He talking about kat he's out over a certain.

Speaker 18 (36:57):
Amount of food.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
He shouldn't be allowed to eat no more.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
I'm gonna go to the movie.

Speaker 5 (37:02):
Can I just say he had he put mac and
cheese on his burger. That sounds it, don't it does.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
I wouldn't do it.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
But people were also saying that this is great advertising
because the food look good.

Speaker 5 (37:16):
Cheese, piece of look decent.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
I feel like I want to try that.

Speaker 7 (37:18):
We should.

Speaker 4 (37:21):
All right, I'm gonna say a couple of things here
about going to a buffet. Number one, I always feel
like I don't eat as much as I'm supposed to
to justify the price.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
I'm cheated.

Speaker 4 (37:30):
Yeah, so I feel like they should have let me
eat whatever, because there's gonna be people who as it's
a balance, there's gonna be mostly people who don't eat whatever.

Speaker 3 (37:38):
The amount you.

Speaker 5 (37:38):
Pay for the buffet is right, it's gonna be a
rare case. And that's the worst to me.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
Like when I do a breakfast buffet, it's so annoying
when they force you to do the buffet and you're like,
I don't even want that much.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
I just want some fruit and a pancake.

Speaker 9 (37:49):
I do.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
I do not like buffets in general. I just they're
not my thing.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
Well that's not what's your thing, then, Jay, just I
would like to.

Speaker 5 (37:56):
Go somewhere and sit down and order off the menu
and you bring me my food. I don't want to be.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
Are you doing that? A lot we know?

Speaker 6 (38:04):
Is this is this opportunity for you tell me I
don't have a date or I feel like would like that.
I feel like this where it's going.

Speaker 5 (38:13):
Are they wrong for telling him that's enough you're cut off?

Speaker 14 (38:16):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (38:17):
Yes, okay, because we have another person, Dan, our producer,
He actually got cut off from a buffet because he
always goes and but it was like a sushi Oh Dan,
you ready to talk?

Speaker 7 (38:27):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (38:27):
Please?

Speaker 5 (38:28):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Yeah, it was a sushi place and and uh, me
and my buddy justin this is a while ago, but
me and my buddy just went to a all you
can eat sushi plays in Jersey and they cut us off.

Speaker 13 (38:37):
I don't know. We definitely overrate, are welcome?

Speaker 5 (38:39):
How many plates do you think you have?

Speaker 3 (38:40):
Like sixty bucks? Ahead?

Speaker 10 (38:42):
Man?

Speaker 13 (38:42):
That's probably like, I don't know, A lot.

Speaker 6 (38:46):
Sushi is really small. I feel like it's not feeling
so I understand it is pricey.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
I didn't know they had that you can eat sushi.

Speaker 5 (38:54):
Yeah mm hmm, yeah.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
I think for me, I just don't eat enough for
it to justify, you know, like a sixty dollars buffet.

Speaker 5 (39:02):
Ooh for you all you can eat candy? You would,
you would kill it. I don't tell you that much though.
I don't like a pack of candy.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
But you can drink.

Speaker 6 (39:10):
Listen, put that open bar, try that after ANGELI I drink.
Sometimes we go to the corner store and we get
lots of candy.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
Yeah, we get that little toasty and then we get hungry.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
But yeah, so anyway, I do feel like, though, that's
not fair if it's all you can eat and it's
really him eating it, and he's really eating the food,
not taking it to go, not packing it up, not
sliding it through to somebody.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
Also, gulk Rause should be so lucky that he's they're
getting free promo.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
I didn't even I didn't even store around.

Speaker 6 (39:39):
We're talking about, yeah, we're on the show, talk about
they should thank him.

Speaker 5 (39:45):
I used to love when Olive Garden had the bottomless salad?

Speaker 3 (39:48):
Is that what they had? The bottomless salads?

Speaker 5 (39:49):
Their soulads are good to bottomless bread sticks, right, am
I making that? What about bottomless mimosas? That's a bad
would that? Well?

Speaker 4 (39:57):
Anyway, My point is you can't advertise one thing and
then say no, you're not right for that. So what's
the point of it all you can eat buffet? If
they're telling you it's not actually all you can eat,
it's all we're gonna let you eat.

Speaker 5 (40:10):
You're right, Okay. So that's my take on it. Do
you guys agree or yeah?

Speaker 3 (40:14):
I agree? What time they're calling in for the secrets?

Speaker 5 (40:16):
That's not that's not today, It's Monday, Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
I feel like people wanted to you missed it. I
feel like people just want to call in and just
give us.

Speaker 5 (40:25):
Do you have a secret that you would like to
tell us?

Speaker 3 (40:27):
Tell us a secret. I don't have one.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
I have a secret for Meno.

Speaker 3 (40:30):
I have a lot of secrets.

Speaker 5 (40:31):
The music is planing. He takes a nap. This is crazy. Yes, today,
you know what I don't.

Speaker 3 (40:39):
This is not a real place. I don't ever want
to be.

Speaker 5 (40:41):
Every breathing like he just left the buffet was snoring today.
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 13 (40:48):
Proof.

Speaker 6 (40:49):
I have proof, Let's roll it, king, No, I do
have I have lots of footage of you sleeping today
and just in general.

Speaker 7 (40:55):
Yeah, just in general general on the job and us.

Speaker 5 (41:00):
He's very peacefully.

Speaker 3 (41:01):
I had a light.

Speaker 5 (41:02):
He has his hands folded in front of him in
the casket.

Speaker 14 (41:05):
Right.

Speaker 4 (41:07):
It's also kind of like, don't approach him while he's sleeping, yeah,
because it's very light.

Speaker 5 (41:13):
Is also well, be kind of quiet when he's sleep.
We tiptoe around, you know what. He seems like he
might wake up and choke you.

Speaker 3 (41:23):
When come back.

Speaker 5 (41:24):
We have comedian Jess Johnson joining us. He is hilarious.
He's a writer.

Speaker 4 (41:28):

Speaker 7 (41:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (41:56):
Go ahead, tell your secret, Tell your secret, Mano, set
it off. I don't know what calling, and we'll do
it tomorrow though.

Speaker 5 (42:03):

Speaker 3 (42:06):
Yes, I told you that.

Speaker 4 (42:06):
Earlier one of the big secrets. Yesterday a couple of
people called in about the fact that they used to
boost Yeah, have you ever stolen?

Speaker 3 (42:16):
I don't have to have a stolen face before, right,
do you do? I don't think I think that helps
if you don't. Oh, but I have stolen, Yeah, I
got that from you.

Speaker 4 (42:26):
From you though you think I look like IX stealer?

Speaker 5 (42:31):
Is your face is given a thief.

Speaker 3 (42:33):
And jasmine you most certainly.

Speaker 5 (42:37):
Gives over here she's taking something.

Speaker 1 (42:41):
Never a million billion years.

Speaker 6 (42:44):
Listen, I've stole money. I've stole I definitely I've stole money,
like from the guys. Of course, from guys. But when
I was when I was let it all out, now,
when I was bartending a few times, thank you for that.
When I was bartending a few I was definitely you know,
a thief.

Speaker 3 (43:03):
For sure, was a pickpocket.

Speaker 7 (43:04):
No, I don't.

Speaker 5 (43:05):
I don't have that skill set. What are you, Oliver twisted?

Speaker 18 (43:09):
You know what what?

Speaker 10 (43:10):
You uh?

Speaker 5 (43:11):
Have you ever stole clothes?

Speaker 9 (43:12):
No?

Speaker 5 (43:13):
Okay, all right, you stole money, You've robbed people before, right, I've.

Speaker 3 (43:17):
Taken I don't know if I've taken stolen.

Speaker 4 (43:21):
All right, guess we have a comedian joining us for
Master of Your Comedy today.

Speaker 5 (43:25):
This is getting out of control. We're not this is
a bad place. We're not trying to get made in trouble.

Speaker 3 (43:31):
You just admitted to being an X stealer. Not me
look like it, but you do.

Speaker 5 (43:36):
She does not have a thief face. Yeah. Those are
the people's that Those are individuals that still the people
that look like they.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Do not steal. And that's what I'm saying. Well, I'm
stolen a lot.

Speaker 5 (43:47):
I furnished. The whole apartment was stolen.

Speaker 4 (43:49):
Wow. Anyway, Josh Johnson is going to be joining us
and he is a hilarious comedian, So you guys stay tuned.

Speaker 5 (43:56):
This is a really fun Conversation's Way Up with Angela Comedy.

Speaker 1 (44:01):
On Way Up with Angela?

Speaker 5 (44:03):
Ye, what's up as Way up at Angela?

Speaker 7 (44:05):
Yee.

Speaker 4 (44:05):
I'm here and Jasmine from the Jasmine brand dot Com
is here and we have for MASTERR Comedy Josh Johnson.

Speaker 7 (44:12):
Hello, how are you?

Speaker 13 (44:13):
I'm good? How about you?

Speaker 5 (44:14):
I like you're very calm demeanor. I'm good as well.

Speaker 7 (44:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 13 (44:17):
I try.

Speaker 4 (44:18):
But let's talk about some of your history Josh Johnson.
This is my first time actually sitting down with you.
So I'm excited for that. But just as a comedian,
let's talk about your background because you're from Louisiana.

Speaker 2 (44:29):
Yeah, I grew up in Louisiana, Okay, and then I
start a comedy in Chicago that moved to New York
towards the end of twenty fifteen.

Speaker 4 (44:36):
A lot of legendary comics from Chicago, you know, So
what was that like for you? What about Chicago made
you get started in comedy?

Speaker 2 (44:44):
I think Chicago made the most sense because it's one
of the I feel like it's the only secondary market
in the US where you can get really big in
Chicago but still be completely unknown. So it's like a
nice it's like a nice level of knowing how to
handle yourself once things start going well without the it's
like a real test run if you if you pop

(45:06):
in New York, people from all over hearing about you,
seeing you and everything, especially if you're really young or
if you're really early and whatever you're doing might not
be able to handle that pressure and stuff. So it
just felt like the most natural progression before I moved
to one of the coasts or something.

Speaker 5 (45:22):
That's an interesting take on it.

Speaker 6 (45:24):
It is when you're going through a weird experience. How
soon are you thinking I'm gonna turn this?

Speaker 7 (45:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (45:29):
Almost never, certainly, Like not only do I try to
be present in life, but also when something is actively happening,
it's so bad that you are in it.

Speaker 13 (45:39):
There was one time I was.

Speaker 2 (45:40):
Walking down the street and this lady in front of
me was on the phone letting someone have it right.

Speaker 3 (45:47):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (45:47):
But she's in heels and as she's walking, Oh, she
steps on to the grate. Both heels get stuck in
the grate and she falls. That word. She like this
because she fights it. She's like she puts those calves
in and she's like trying to lock it in. It's
like fighting falls back. And I'm still walking up with

(46:08):
this is because I gotta go this way, and so
I'm still walking up to her as it's happening, and
she's so angry still from what's on the phone. So
now she's she tries to will herself up, like do
you remember in the Matrix when he knocked down mister
Smith and mister Smith would like that I stood back up,
and so she tried to do that. That did work,

(46:29):
because it also isn't physics. Yeah, and then we tried
did you ever watch the Power Rangers back in the day? Yeah, okay,
so you know how whenever any of them got kicked
in the chest and fell, they would do the little
crab thing and pop up. She tried to do one
of those with her feet still stuck. So then she
just went up like up backwards, you know what I mean,

(46:50):
like a little kid on the playground doing like the
backwards crab walk.

Speaker 5 (46:53):
So then she but still on the phone.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
It's still like the phone is here on the grate, right.
Imagine if it was lived it did, it's on the
grate right. And then I'm walking up and I get
to her and I'm like, do you need any help, ma'am?

Speaker 13 (47:10):
And she looks at me. She's like no, it was
in New York.

Speaker 3 (47:15):
And I was like, are you sure? And she was
like yes.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
And then and then she goes to like backwards hand
grabbed the phone and if she pushed it through the grade.

Speaker 13 (47:29):
So now she's like.

Speaker 2 (47:33):
It's like screaming, and so I just start to walk away.
I'm like are you sure?

Speaker 3 (47:38):
Because like one more time?

Speaker 13 (47:40):
Yeah, one more time, are you sure?

Speaker 3 (47:41):
Because I'm like, you can't.

Speaker 5 (47:43):
Get out you're so nice. I know you're nothing.

Speaker 2 (47:45):
Okay, Yeah it was pretty bad, but I said all that.
I told that entire story to say. At no point
was I like, man, it's gonna be a hot bit.

Speaker 5 (47:51):
Would I've asked if she needed help or what I
have minded my business?

Speaker 7 (47:55):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (47:55):
It sucks because that is like the frame of mind.

Speaker 4 (47:58):
I was in Vegas and this woman was standing by
the elevator and she was like a little tipsy and
she just collapsed, like her feet slid. I think she
had on these heels that were very uncomfortable. She just
honestly likes it and boom on the floor, like really
really loud, and I just kept walking.

Speaker 5 (48:17):
But what could I do help her?

Speaker 3 (48:19):
You couldn't.

Speaker 13 (48:20):
Yeah, you couldn't have caught her.

Speaker 4 (48:23):
Sometimes feel like it's embarrassing and people would rather you
act like you didn't see it.

Speaker 3 (48:27):
Yeah, yeah, you know who.

Speaker 13 (48:28):
I don't help.

Speaker 5 (48:28):
The first thing you do is look around.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
It like, yes, yes, when someone looks around. That's why
I don't help.

Speaker 5 (48:33):
I don't fall as much. But I, oh, no, I
did fall and I fell in the shower because I
was drunk and you were bruised out, and she's very light,
and so she had black and blues.

Speaker 2 (48:42):
That's the thing about bathroom steps, like no one can
help you. I know now on can nobody help.

Speaker 3 (48:51):
A towel.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
It's so upsetting when something like that happens in the
bathroom because now you are you at your most vulnerable,
like true, like truly vulnerable.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
Right, they getting wet.

Speaker 2 (49:05):
But also every bathroom is built like a death trap
because every bathroom is like, let's make things as smooth
as possible.

Speaker 5 (49:13):
It was in the shower there was no like grip thing.

Speaker 3 (49:15):
Yeah, there was no grip.

Speaker 5 (49:16):
I hate those. They feel like they're just germs. They are,
but I will never have it. I would never You know, you're.

Speaker 4 (49:22):
In a not nice space if there's a grip matt
in the shower. All right, we are talking to Josh Johnson.
He has a Peacock special up here killing myself. All right,
So but let's talk about your career also as a writer.
So right now the writers strike is happening. How is
that affecting you?

Speaker 2 (49:38):
I mean, I'm not working right now or anything because
we're striking, so it has a definite effect on my
daily life.

Speaker 5 (49:44):
And are they still making sure you get paid during
the strike.

Speaker 13 (49:47):
No, you don't get paid.

Speaker 7 (49:49):
You don't.

Speaker 4 (49:50):
Because I was reading in the news they were saying
some of the non writing staff they're still getting paid,
you know, for for coming in. But then they were
talking about, you know, stopping that, and it tends to
his whole thing where some shows are still paying some
of their non writing staff and some shows aren't.

Speaker 10 (50:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:05):
Yeah, So it's it's tough because the entire point is
to withdraw your work and everything. So of course it's
not going to be me getting paid. But you know,
obviously you worry about everyone that you work with and
everyone in the industry that you want to be okay,
because that's not who you have any issue with it.

(50:26):
It's all of the bigger networks and the higher ups
that make the decisions, that are at the negotiating table
and stuff. So you want to have as few people
on the level of the creation be affected as possible.

Speaker 13 (50:42):
But that's that's not the reality that we live in.

Speaker 4 (50:45):
So right now, you're writing for the Daily Show, okay, Yeah,
all right, So everybody's gone from there right now.

Speaker 2 (50:51):
As far as I don't, I don't know exactly what's
happening over there. I just know that I'm not you know, Yeah,
I only know what I'm doing.

Speaker 3 (50:59):
And that's not right now, yeah, because I know.

Speaker 4 (51:03):
Sometimes also people who are like the head person on
the show will make sure everybody gets paid.

Speaker 2 (51:07):
Still, it's hard to say since everyone, since it's all
of Hollywood across the spectrum, it's very hard to say
who's going to do what and write what people will do.

Speaker 4 (51:19):
Or or should do or he was paying attention to
what everyone else is doing. Right, all right, it's way
up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (51:24):
I'm here.

Speaker 4 (51:24):
Jasmine from the Jasmine Brand is here and we are
talking to Josh Johnson, comedian who, by the way, is
also on strike. We're going to ask him more about
what's going on during this writer strike, about artificial intelligence
and how that's affecting him because he has all of
the inside information.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
It's way up with angelayee.

Speaker 1 (51:41):
This is mastery of comedy on way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (51:47):
It's way up at Angela Ye.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
I'm here.

Speaker 4 (51:49):
Jasmin from the Jasmine Brand is here and we are
talking to comedian Josh Johnson. He's also a writer for
the Daily Show, and we're talking about the writer strike. Also,
let's discuss this artificial intelligence. How do you feel about that?
Because I know that's one of the points they're trying
to predict, and it's hard to predict what's going to
happen with AI and how that's going to affect people's jobs.

Speaker 5 (52:09):
So can you break that part down for us?

Speaker 2 (52:11):
I mean, I think AI is definitely a tool, and
it's something that I think is going to have its
place in creation that is unavoidable, and it's going to
have its place in learning that's unavoidable and will be
an innovation. I think it's a distinctly American thing to
use something that could be such a beautiful tool and

(52:32):
to immediately weaponize it against a workforce like that. That's
kind of what's so insane and infuriating about the industry's
approach to AI and a lot of other approaches to AI,
is that you could see AI as a helpful tool
to make the people that are working for you, not
even make them, but just to.

Speaker 3 (52:53):
Give them an additional tools.

Speaker 2 (52:56):
An addition that will be helpful to their artistic endeavor
or as soon as they begin, right. So, one thing
I've heard that AI is good for is if you're
having a writer's block and it can spring board a
bunch of ideas for you and everything based on your
prompt and stuff. There's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing
wrong with using it to learn better structure when it
comes to writing, because all of AI right now is

(53:18):
so structure based. There's no like, there's no real inspire,
creation or soul to it to what it makes, and
it can only learn from us right now.

Speaker 13 (53:29):
There's no unique thought to AI.

Speaker 2 (53:32):
So if someone were to come into an industry and
be like, well, we can just use AI to get
rid of everybody, you know, that may make your bottom
line a bit cheaper, but it'll make the product worse.
And it'll also be something that I think in the
end you'll probably regret because it can only give you
a variation of what's already been created. And I think

(53:53):
that when it comes to writers, all the writer's demands
are actually really really reasonable. Yeah, And so it's frustrated.

Speaker 4 (54:01):
Liv wage and I think the problem is with streaming
services not being able to get those residuals from shows
that you know, things have changed so much, yeah, and
then you see people making so much money yeah, and
these executives and these other services and it's not coming
down to be distributed the way it should.

Speaker 2 (54:18):
I mean, it's probably why I'm not a multimillionaire. I
don't see the point of cutting people out at every cost,
at every opportunity.

Speaker 5 (54:26):
All Right, we are talking to Jas Johnson.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
He has a Peacock special up here killing myself for
like the Daily Show.

Speaker 5 (54:32):
How many writers are are there?

Speaker 3 (54:34):
Believe at thirteen thirteen?

Speaker 5 (54:36):
Okay, and you and Trevor Noah had a great relationship
with each other too. Yeah, so that's good. Yeah, that's
nice to work with people who you like.

Speaker 3 (54:44):
Yeah, absolutely, which is a hard thing to do.

Speaker 10 (54:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:46):
Luckily, every job that I've ever had that's been working
for a crazy person had nothing to do with entertainment.

Speaker 13 (54:53):
It would just be like an odd job I was doing,
like trying to make money.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
Someone's like a lunatic, and I'm like, guys, we're picking pecans,
like it should it shouldn't be that crazy.

Speaker 5 (55:05):
You know, you were not picking pecans for really?

Speaker 7 (55:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (55:07):
Yeah, I was in Louisiana, but I was Yeah, I
was a kid too, and yeah I.

Speaker 5 (55:15):
Was like picking that is that the weirdest job you
ever had? Not weird, but like the most unique job unique?

Speaker 13 (55:22):
Let me see, I feel like pecans is it's pretty odden.

Speaker 5 (55:28):
You eat pecans, I do eat pc Did you eat
something as you picked or no?

Speaker 14 (55:32):
No?

Speaker 13 (55:34):
No, I needed all the weight right yeah?

Speaker 18 (55:38):
Right, so.

Speaker 3 (55:41):
If anything that a couple of rocks fell in there,
I was like, oh, well someone's going to break it too.

Speaker 13 (55:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (55:47):
But listen, So during this time, right, I know you've
been working on material for yourself. We saw your Peacock special.

Speaker 13 (55:54):
Thank you for watching.

Speaker 4 (55:55):
Yeah, it was hilarious. It made me rethink a lot
of things. Oh appreciate Yeah, and I encourage everybody to
watch that too. I know you did your Comedy Central
special also, right, So what's next for you?

Speaker 5 (56:06):
And what are you working on? Because I know you're
constantly working on material.

Speaker 13 (56:08):
Yeah, I mean I'm working on.

Speaker 2 (56:10):
The next special now and then working on as much
writing in general as I can. But trying to use
this time to plan for whenever things go back to
some form of normal. And I'm touring as well, so
then I'm trying to Oh.

Speaker 5 (56:28):

giver Mano with us. Also, Jasmine from the Jasmine brand
is here and we have an anonymous caller on the line.

Speaker 5 (57:42):
Hello, Hi, I'm anonymous.

Speaker 3 (57:44):
Okay, anonymous?

Speaker 5 (57:45):
What's your question for? Ask ye?

Speaker 10 (57:47):
So?

Speaker 15 (57:48):
I was calling because me and my boyfriend's been together
for five years. We have not been having six for
the past six seven months. I access you know, if
you wonder if you with somebody else?

Speaker 1 (58:01):
Is it me?

Speaker 6 (58:02):
Tell me no?

Speaker 12 (58:03):
Sometime?

Speaker 15 (58:03):
See what should I do?

Speaker 3 (58:05):
Well? What did he say when you What else was
he saying? Was the reason he's not saying? It's no reason,
there's no may No. Have you ever been with somebody
and I had sex with them for six or seven months?

Speaker 14 (58:15):
No?

Speaker 3 (58:16):
Did you ask him? Is he dating somebody else? Or
does he want somebody else? Yes?

Speaker 14 (58:20):
I ask it.

Speaker 15 (58:21):
He told me no, wants me?

Speaker 3 (58:22):
Have you brought him another woman over? Oh my god, man, No,
that is not the solution. Have you You got to
sometimes spice it up?

Speaker 7 (58:30):
But she might not want that?

Speaker 14 (58:31):
Is that? Is? I?

Speaker 3 (58:34):
And he told me no, So he doesn't want another
woman with you?

Speaker 18 (58:38):
Right?

Speaker 10 (58:39):
He?

Speaker 4 (58:39):
Is he going through anything like in his work life
or anything else personal? That maybe has him feeling a
little depressed or not like himself.

Speaker 12 (58:49):
I don't think so.

Speaker 6 (58:50):
When you ask him, when you ask him what the
issue is or why you all aren't having sex, what
does he say?

Speaker 12 (58:57):
He's like, Oh, I'm tired you guys?

Speaker 5 (59:00):
Do you guys live together?

Speaker 12 (59:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (59:02):
Man, that's crazy.

Speaker 5 (59:03):
So what do you think if in your instinct as
a woman, what do you think I.

Speaker 15 (59:09):
Just thought it was somebody else.

Speaker 3 (59:11):
I'm telling you what the answer is. You got to
spice up the relationship, just trying to though, right, yes,
you offered another woman. He doesn't want to women? Are
you wearing sexy lingeride? Are you like, was he coming
home when you just neke it for no reason? Or
you just like, you know, you got to do.

Speaker 10 (59:27):
What?

Speaker 3 (59:28):
I hate clothes, she said, I hate clothes.

Speaker 5 (59:31):
Do you think that he may be into other things?

Speaker 18 (59:34):
Like what like?

Speaker 5 (59:36):
Maybe not women? Not women?

Speaker 15 (59:40):
I've thought about that.

Speaker 5 (59:42):
Have you Have you talked to him about that?

Speaker 14 (59:44):
Not? Really?

Speaker 12 (59:45):
I don't think I really wants to.

Speaker 5 (59:46):
Talk about it.

Speaker 4 (59:48):
Yeah, because here's the thing, right, sometimes he's telling you
he's not seeing somebody else, because that would be the
first thing I think too. If we were fine up
until a few months ago and then all of a sudden,
you're you're not interested. I would think it was someone else,
like you said, But then I would also look at
the fact that, Okay, what's going on with him in
his professional life?

Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
Is he having some stress issues? Is he having some
health issues?

Speaker 14 (01:00:08):
You know?

Speaker 5 (01:00:08):
Is he able to even get an erection?

Speaker 14 (01:00:11):
Right?

Speaker 7 (01:00:12):
Why do you say?

Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
Nah?

Speaker 18 (01:00:13):
May not?

Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
I don't know. I don't know. I'm saying maybe the
ships sailed already, Maybe she just needs to move on.

Speaker 4 (01:00:19):
Does he still cuddle with you and kiss you? And
is he intimate in other ways besides sex?

Speaker 12 (01:00:24):
Not really?

Speaker 3 (01:00:25):
Oh man, this is crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
Yeah, I mean it kind of feels like maybe he's
just not being honest with you in that case, because
he's not even if he's not going through some life
changing things, if he's not going through some stress or
some family problems, then maybe he's just maybe doesn't want
to be in the relationship.

Speaker 14 (01:00:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:00:43):
I wonder if maybe you guys need a break.

Speaker 3 (01:00:46):
They had a break for six seven months.

Speaker 6 (01:00:47):
Not a sexual break, but maybe you know, like, maybe
she needs some time apart from him so he can
figure out what's you know, what he.

Speaker 3 (01:00:53):
Not even cuddling? He over on all the side of
the bay.

Speaker 5 (01:00:56):
Is he acting different in other ways? Just besides this.

Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
No, what size is your bed? You mammy asking a king?
So the big king he's on the other side.

Speaker 4 (01:01:07):
Because sometimes it could be a hormone problem that really
does happen, like men's testasterone levels can drop and they
can have issues for those reasons, and he could be
in better.

Speaker 5 (01:01:17):
I mean, it happens. Had you gone to the doctor,
I've aged and he said no.

Speaker 12 (01:01:28):
But he's like, what's the reason.

Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
Listen, You've done everything you can, everything you can, right.

Speaker 4 (01:01:35):
You know, if he's not gonna if he's not going
to be open and honest with you, if he's not
gonna go to the doctor, if he's not going to
address the issues and act like everything is normal, it's
not for you. And so if he's not going to
compromise and understand that in this relationship, you know, there's
certain things that you need, then it's really not a

(01:01:55):
relationship anymore.

Speaker 6 (01:01:56):
Yeah, because it takes two people to work on a relationship,
and if it's just you working on itind of like,
what's the point You.

Speaker 3 (01:02:00):
Got a roommate at this point?

Speaker 5 (01:02:03):
All right, Well, let us know what happens. Please follow up. Okay,
good luck, Okay, thank you, and you can DM Mano
if you need to.

Speaker 3 (01:02:13):

real quick. Oh my gosh.

I was DJing and we were doing running through some
Mano songs. I was djan from Meno and he put

(01:03:17):
on a new song, vibue with me?

Speaker 10 (01:03:19):
Was it with me?

Speaker 5 (01:03:23):
And and throughout that we kept saying and it turned
into a.

Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
Drop and it's stuck. Now it's the thing.

Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
And now it's the thing.

Speaker 5 (01:03:45):
He's hilarious. He's part of the writer's strike. Right now, Jasmine,
you had a shout.

Speaker 6 (01:03:50):
Out, Yeah, I want to show some love to Bailey Edwards.
She's in She finished seventh grade with all A's.

Speaker 7 (01:03:56):
Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:03:57):
Yeah, and so she has this dance tonight. She goes
to Clinton Junior High in Mississippi, So lots of love
to her. All A's is major Bailey, Bailey Edwards, she
has a dance tonight. Okay, so this is a big
deal when she has all A's on. Shout out to Billy,
I put Baillies in my coffee. Everyone Bailey's coffee tool.
Shout out to Bailey's every morning and today because of
her dance in her all A's all right, that felt

(01:04:20):
like that was inappropriate, mate. Maybe all right, She's not
listening to that again.

Speaker 5 (01:04:24):
This is time for the last word.

Speaker 4 (01:04:25):
Eight hundred nine fifty one fifty is a number for
everybody who couldn't get through.

Speaker 14 (01:04:29):
I know.

Speaker 4 (01:04:29):
We had a lot of different conversations this morning. We
did what did we talk about them? We did Gurus
of the gram where we talked about do women like
bad guys or not? Okay, I do like nice guys,
Kashan does, Valerie does not like the girl.

Speaker 5 (01:04:48):
You gotta girl, Valut you gotta like nice guys.

Speaker 3 (01:04:51):
Mayna does not like nice women? What you do not like?
Mayno likes the challenge challenge.

Speaker 5 (01:04:58):
Mayo likes the challenge. Yes, we did ask you today?
What else?

Speaker 3 (01:05:01):
Josh Johnson joined us.

Speaker 5 (01:05:03):
We had lots of tea E T Yes we did.

Speaker 3 (01:05:06):
I gave out some real sound advice today.

Speaker 5 (01:05:09):
Man, know, gave out some advice, real good advice.

Speaker 14 (01:05:11):
You know.

Speaker 5 (01:05:12):
Oh gosh, could you be in a relationship with somebody?

Speaker 4 (01:05:14):
And I've heard married people say that after a while,
sex is not that important.

Speaker 5 (01:05:19):
But seven months that's a long.

Speaker 3 (01:05:22):
That's probably average for like a long long marriage. You
been together like twenty years, you probably ain't knocking each
other all for what.

Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
I've never heard anybody hold the long Angelo in my face, Like,
when is this gonna end? I know you really can
hold your breath all right, Well again it is time
for last word.

Speaker 14 (01:05:40):
Eight.

Speaker 17 (01:05:42):
Yeah, I want to shine the light on my brother.

Speaker 9 (01:05:44):
The main no is Kevin out of Brooklyn. On the
topic as far as whether women like nice guys, Nah,
they just like what they can get from nice guys.
They use the nice guy. They see nice guys as
simps and that's what kind of makes DULs be dirty
in the game, and in return, women get done dirty
and they be dirty. So it's just a dirt. That's
why it's just a dirty game out here. So be

(01:06:07):
licenick ladies. Be what you want to see in men. Yeah,
women don't like nice guys. They like guys that disrespect them.

Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
And want to control them and tell them what to do.

Speaker 9 (01:06:17):
So when they get a nice guy, they just try
to control that guy and do whatever they want to them,
not realizing that's the guy they that they need. So
women like the guys that don't, don't, don't care too
much more of them.

Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
