Of course, we got to set the show off with
some love and some positivity. Let's shine a light eight

a light on them, all right, this.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Way up with Angela. Ye, I'm here with my guy.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Shin't the lights new?

Speaker 7 (01:34):
Mayna?

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:35):
And on a trigger?

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Yeah all right, first he says, as it reflects. Yeah,
But anyway, today I want to shine a light on
Claudine Hibbert Smith. She actually just was recognized by nay
Rab because she actually clocked three hundred and seventy seven
million dollars in real estate sales in one year.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
You know what a big deal that is. She's the
founder and CEO.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Of True real Estate Exchange Elite, and she's from Miami.
She's been recognized by the National Association of Real Estate
Brokers with the Top Teams Award. So her team sold
that much real estate. And you know, this is not
a time when it's easy to sell us more. Yeah,
a lot of people are like holding off, waiting for
rates to go down. But One of her main things
that she does is educate buyers and sellers on building

(02:21):
wealth through real estate. She said, winning this award is
about more than numbers. It's about creating opportunities, building legacies,
and proving that when we work together, we can transform
entire community. So I stand that all right now, Raina,
who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 8 (02:36):
And my son Angel prattle Feast, he's in the juvenile
system of New Jersey.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
She's actually graduating this Wednesday.

Speaker 9 (02:45):
They did it.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
They're graduating. Yay, fine, well, shout out to Angel. What
do you think he wants to do with his life?
What is he even saying? He wants to continue his
wrestling MMA career and.

Speaker 8 (02:57):
Stuff like that, but at the same he wants to
focus on getting a job and right set him out
of that.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
System because he turned eighteen.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
There and he missed out all his senior year and
that he worked so much for that.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
I'm so proud of him.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
He got to I know that's right, and he got
his mama holding him down to thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
A goodness.

Speaker 9 (03:18):
I hope he's listening, because that's all he got is
the iPod things and radio.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
So, oh, my baby, all right, angel congratulations all the
graduates of.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
This Dansburg County or Jamesburg.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
All right, shout out to all of them. Yes, all
the graduates, thank you for calling.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Thank you, boy Ba. Have a good day. Angela, you too.
Well that was Shina Light eight hundred and two ninety two,
fifty one to fifty.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
In case you couldn't get through, you can always leave
a message in China Light that way. And now that
Mano's back, let's start it off with some Diddy in
our eet and his lawyer feels like Diddy is at
risk while he's in good What his lawyer says, Diddy's
at risk. I'm being essentially assaulted in prison. And we'll
talk about it when we come back. It's way up, angel.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
Is, way up the way up the rooms from industry
shade to all of gossip out. Angela's feeling that.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
All right, his way up at the Angela yee, Mano's here, yep,
let's get into this yet. So uh, Diddy's got a
lot of his lawyers are you know, doing their best to.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Make They're doing a great job. They put on a
hell of a fight, all right.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Well, his lawyer has called attention to some risks that
Diddy is potentially facing, and he feels that Diddy is
facing a potential sexual assault from other inmates after it
was revealed somebody tried to shank him in jail.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Now, previously I thought things were going really well. He
was teaching a chorus.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
You know that things happen present.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Right, So this is all following his to his conviction
on two council prostitution. And you know, of course, his
lawyer said, it's prison. You always have to watch it back,
and if that's the case, you're never really out of
the woods until you're released or you go to a
halfway house. Now, during the court session last Friday, that's
when Diddy's lawyer raised alarm over the safety of his
life and saying that he become a trophy for other

(05:14):
inmates who are bent on hurting him. And people also
are saying he's very unlikely to have to serve out
his full sentence too. By the way, you have to
do eighty five percent, right, and then I'm sure he's
going to do some type of program to get out
even earlier. Now, his legal team is requesting that he
served his prison sentence at Fort Dix and that request

(05:37):
is made because there he can address drug abuse issues
and to maximize family visitation.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
And we have efforts, right, So we'll see how all
of that plays out.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
In the meantime, Donald Trump has revealed, like we all
know that Diddy is trying to get that presidential part
in like at.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
He is not saying that. Here's what Trump has to say.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
I have a lot of people as speed for pardons.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
I call him puff Daddy, his aspe for a pardon.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
I call him puff.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Daddy, you know, because everybody's call him. Did he brother Love?
He's like I call him puff Daddy. Now fifty Cent,
of course, had a comment about that. He said, man,
you can't get no part in running your mouth like that. Lol,
get out of here. And you know, fifty has been
very writing letters to the.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Judge trying to he didn't really write that letters.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Yeah, he posted it just to make us think that
he wrote that letter to the judge.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
But yes, he has been very candid and open about
how he feels about you know, did he getting out
potentially now?

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Pooh Shisty in the meantime is home.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
So he had previously been convicted of firearms and drug trafficking,
charges and last night he was released from prison early,
so congratulations to him.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Welcome home, Yes, welcome home to Pooh Shisty.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
And there's video of him and everything, so I know
quietly they had been talking about that he was about
to get home, come home, and all of that looks
like it happened now, Little Dirk. In the meantime, once
his federal murder for higher He's thrown out, he says
the government is withholding vital information that could help him
build a fair defense his indictment. He says it's missing
key details about the bounty he supposedly placed on Kwondo

(07:10):
Rondo in twenty twenty two. He argued that he can't
prepare a defense when prosecutors have laid out only a
vague theory about him ordering the hit. His legal team said,
this indictment is impermissibly vague. It leads a defense to
guests as to the government's theory of guilt, and it
leads the government free to change that theory as it's cooperators.
Stories morph over time to meet the demands of a conviction.

(07:32):
So we'll see how all of that plays out. That
is your Yet, when we come back, we have about
last night where we discussed what we did last night.
Haven't seen you in a minute, mano, so can wait
to hear this. I'll tell you it's a way up.

Speaker 5 (07:46):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Youswall. Yeah, but Angela, yee, I'm here right, I know
that's right, Mana. Where have you been? What have you
been doing?

Speaker 3 (08:00):
I need more information in the city wearing a cape?

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Okay, have you been filming new episodes for your show?
For which one with Fab Davies and Jim Jones.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (08:10):
Absolutely, absolutely, that's coming. Okay, that's definitely coming.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
All right, Well, y'all want to hear I got some
good news yesterday.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
So you know I have the building in Detroit, and
I have been working really hard on getting into a
permanent mortgage.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Well yesterday we finally.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Got approved to get out of this bridge loan right
before the deadline, because the deadline's like October twenty fourth,
So thank you to the Opportunity Resource Fund. By the way,
I'm also going to be doing a keynote at their
fortieth anniversary gala in Detroit, so I'm excited for that too,
But just really happy that you know that got handled
and got approved finally yesterday. It was a long process.

(08:49):
I had to have a little celebration when I went home.
And then in addition to that, of course catch up
on Love is Blind and I don't know.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
If have you?

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Do you ever watched Love is Lying? Love to See
You on? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I would love.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
You know what's interesting I Love is Blind.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
I could tell when couples meet each other in person
for the first time because they're in pods, they can't
see each other. They just have conversations and they don't
like what they see, because I do think physical attractions
are real things. The whole point of the show is
that you have these conversations and you fall in love
with somebody that you normally wouldn't look at it right,
and then you meet in person. And there were a

(09:28):
couple of people that were like, I'm just gonna go
home really, yeah, Like I'm not. I don't know it's
fair to go to Mexico. Yeah, yeah, there's some people
that and it's it and it's bad because you build
up this rapport with somebody, then you meet them in
person and they don't look at all like what you
look like. You know, like if I say I have
a face for radio and you hear my voice, remember,

(09:51):
you might be like, oh, she her voice maybe sounds sexy,
and then you see her and you're like, oh, but anyway.
One of the couples on the show, though in particular,
I was watching yesterday and Edmund and KB they were
in the bed and he's upset because all the other couples,
while they've linked up because you have to propose in
order to make it to the trip, he is the

(10:13):
only one that hasn't had sex with his fiance slash partner,
And they were in bed talking about it, and he
feels like he's just two nice of a guy.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
Listened to Edmund, this.

Speaker 5 (10:22):
Is who I am.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
It's not that I'm not as strong into it as
you are.

Speaker 10 (10:26):
This is me.

Speaker 5 (10:28):
I'm just always the nice guy.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
But come too nice. I can't lie like I'm not
kind of stuggling like you had a one nice stand.

Speaker 5 (10:40):
I'm not like that anymore.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
I think the last time that happened was over a
year ago. Now this bothered. You may know this.

Speaker 8 (10:47):
Yes, if you've been loose, if you've been a bad girl,
stay bad girl. Don't try to be you know, Nancy
to none. When you get to me, you know, but some.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
People think, like, if you're gonna be my husband and
I care about.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
You, everybody else had a chance to to die and
play with you.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
I want you guys to pick a side now, Edmund
r KB eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
He's tired of being a nice guy. But she's saying,
I didn't care about those guys, and I don't do
that anymore.

Speaker 3 (11:10):
We again, you don't care about me?

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Eight hundred nine two fifty one fifty. Call us up,
pick a side?

Speaker 5 (11:15):
Going way out?

Speaker 6 (11:17):
Turn out with Angela Yee, Up with Angela Yee. It's
not just right or wrong, it's about what you believe.
It's time to pick a side and to stay there
all right.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Manos on one today is way Up with Angela Yee
and we're doing pick a side based off of Love
is Blind. Now we're talking about Edmund and kb. Uh
that that's a couple that linked up on the show
after the Pods. Now they're on their trip, they're engaged,
they haven't had text. All the other couples on the
shrip have had sex except for them, and now he's upset.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Listen to this. This is who I am.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
I'm just always the nice guy.

Speaker 10 (11:54):
But we all come to nice so I can't lie
like I'm not kind of struggling, like you have a
one night standing.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
I'm not like that anymore.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
I think the last time that happened was over a
year ago. All right, so now pick a side. Do
you think that you know?

Speaker 4 (12:11):
For KB, She's like, listen, I don't want to have sex.
I actually care about you. I had these one night
stands over a year ago. They meant nothing to me,
and now this is something serious for getting married, and
I don't want to have sex until marriage.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Or do you agree with Edmund don't bet a nice guy?
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (12:25):
I und I know. You notice they try to soap
up when you get next to me.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
I already know.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
I mean, I just think that we all evolve and grow.
And this is also something she told him from the beginning.
If he had an issue with it, then he should
have expressed it. Then it feels like he's more upset
because he feels like everyone else is doing it but him.

Speaker 8 (12:43):
No, I wouldn't be worried about what everybody else is
doing in the house. I'm worried about all of godsh
you had those Why those sex capages capage, Yeah, you
had those and those one night stands.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
Pick a side, Edmund or KB girl, thad, oh you're
on KB side. Okay, tell us why?

Speaker 11 (13:02):
I feel like she was having one nice stance while
y'all wasn't together, and that was her past life and
y'all about to get married, y'all, gage, you just got
to accept that because you're about to have sex anyway.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
So's we cut your mic off? Cut his mic off?

Speaker 8 (13:15):
No, I like what to say, because if she has
if she had one nice stance last year, then that's
not her past.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
That was only last year.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
If you cheated last year a year actually a long
like if you cheated last year, is anywhere moving forward?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
He cut you savage.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Listen, listen. If I cheated last year, that's not a
long time ago.

Speaker 8 (13:39):
Now I can try to work to be a better person,
but let's not act like, let's not try to diminish
and mitigate that factor right there.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
That's not a long time mitigate.

Speaker 8 (13:49):
If you was a three ye oh four last year,
by the time you get to me, you should still
be at three four.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
Bottom line, I don't want to have nothing else. Don't
let everybody else married.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Married.

Speaker 10 (14:01):
What.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
Thank you, Carl. I love to hear from you. He's
a godfearing man.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
Thank you, Nikki Hight pick a side please.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Edmund or kd on love is blind.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
He's upset because she won't have sex with him, but
she's like, look, last year, I was having one nice stance.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Now we're getting married. This is different going her thing
And honestly, if you're going to get married, you need
to find out if you're sexually.

Speaker 7 (14:29):
Compatible or not.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Nik for president.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Yes, yes, you never went through a period where you
were like, I'm not having sex anymore until it's serious.

Speaker 7 (14:47):
Man over seven years?

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Oh well there you go. No, you don't know what
that life is like. She's been with her man for.

Speaker 9 (14:55):
Off the rip, like we hooked up.

Speaker 7 (14:56):
It was great and you know I'm happy.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Right, Thank you, Nikki?

Speaker 4 (15:02):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Bye? Hey, Max, So let us know, are you say
Edmund or KB pick a side I'm on?

Speaker 9 (15:08):
Every time we're working away, listen, don't come over here
and try to now you want to be a saint
after you was a sinner all this time, don't come
over here and trying to do that like nah, Nick
me wait, that's crazy.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
But I will say she made it clear to him.
It kind of felt like if you watch the show,
he was upset because everyone else did it. He was
okay with it and agree to it until you found
out all the other couples were having sex.

Speaker 9 (15:30):
Listen him, I'll be mad too, Like he said, a
woman passes her time when you find out what's going on.
And she got these tricky things like now I gotta
wait to find out.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Right right, when she was letting everybody else find out.

Speaker 9 (15:42):
But now if I go keeap and go get it
from somewhere else, case she wakes me wish for everybody
else and got a peep up.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
Well maybe they're not gonna make it to the aisle,
all right, but thank you for calling. All right, Well
it looks like Edmund is the winner in this situation.
I'm still rocking with KB because he agreed to it.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
He just was mad. And then you can't cry because
someone's not giving you no box, like that's crazy. But anyway,
when we.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
Come back, we have your yet and let's do some updates.
We have an update on Mark Sanchez. We also have
an update on Tyresee. You know he was reportedly detained
after this alleged dog attack. Will tell you what both
of them have to say.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
It's way up.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
Sure, she's about to blow the lead about this spot.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Let's get it.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Oh ye Angelus building at yet, come and get to sea.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
Yee.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
I'm here with mano yeah, man, And let's get into
some of this yet.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
So I know you saw the Mark Sanchez story yesterday,
the ex Jets quarterback who actually attacked a grease truck
driver and left him permanently disfigured. Perry Toll, who's sixty
nine years old, has now filed a lawsuit against Mark
Sanchez and also Fox Sports that's his employer, for punitive
and compensory damages following that violent attack that was in

(16:52):
Indianapolis and the Alleyway at around twelve thirty am Saturday. Now,
according to this lawsuit, Sanchez, who was supposed to be
reporting on the game between the Cults and the Raiders,
was quote unquote, appeared intoxicated and instigated an altercation who
was parking with Toll, who was parking at a loading
bay in the Alleyway. He was collecting the grease from

(17:13):
nearby businesses. Toll suffered significant injuries to his head.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Jawn neck.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
It looks really bad. I don't know if you saw
the pictures of what this man looked.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Like after he got attacked.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
But he has a severe, permanent disfigurement, loss of function,
other physical injuries, emotional distress, and other damages.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
So you know, Sanchez, we said this yesterday.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
He's facing a felony charge on top of earlier misdemeanor
charges and that's going to carry us maximum sentence of
six years in prison and a ten thousand dollars fine. Now,
Mark Sanchez's family did break their silence for the first time.
They said, this has been a deeply distressing time for
everyone involved. Mark and our family are incredibly grateful for

(17:53):
the concern, love, and support we've received over the past
few days. Mark remains under medical care for this serious
injuries he sustained and is focused on his recovery as
the legal process continues. So that was just a wild,
out of nowhere story, like nobody could have anticipated something
like that happening. All right now, Tyrese, in the meantime,

(18:15):
has his own situation that happened. He turned himself into
the police. He was charged with animal cruelty. His dog's
allegedly killed a neighbor's dog. His attorney did put out
a statement, so did he. He said, the TMZ body
cam footage on all of the officers just leaked. He said, guys,
a swat team of seventeen officers swarm my home while
I was out of town, arrested my grandmother and took

(18:36):
my miniature Pomeranian and custody. My dog has medical and
health issues and requires medicine to be taken. We have
no idea how we're going to get my dog, named
Dream out of custody. Who goes as far? I'm asking
who goes as far? My heart is broken for the
family who lost their beloved dog and this tragic incident.
I've been praying for them NonStop. But he said, it's
a nightmare no one could have imagined. And to the family,

(18:57):
he did say, I'm truly sorry.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
Him up.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
He was out of town. He was out of town.
He did turn himself in though when he came back.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
How was he responsible his dog?

Speaker 2 (19:08):
But his they are his dogs.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
He has four massive dogs that allegedly killed the neighbor's pet.
And you know that is still falls on you, so
you know for him. Unfortunately, he was charged with one
count of cruelty to animals.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
So if the dogstart glitching, that's on you, I mean
his mind, like mean dog pistol.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
But it's also like on your property. It shouldn't be
on the neighbor's property. I don't know how this is
all going to play out. He is sorry, and he
has taken responsibility for that, but he just doesn't like
how the police have come and like arrested his grandmother
and did all.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Of those things. So I know that's a sad for
any pet mom or dad. All right, well that is
your ut.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
When we come back under the radar, and let's talk
about Pinky Cole from Slutdy Vegan. She is restructuring her
French will tell you some of those details.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
It's way up news.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
All right, way yup, butt angela, ye, I'm here with
my guy May. Now let's go under the radar. So
let's talk about Pinky Coal and Slutty Vegan. Now you know,
she did lose control of her brand for a period
of time, but she has restructured and now she's keeping
her company alive. She told people it was like final destination,
and you know, she survived, but the incident made her

(20:31):
slow down and reassess. She said, in life, we always
worry about the things that really don't matter until your
life is on the line. She had a near fatal
accident is what ended up happening while driving on the
highway in Atlanta, and that made her reassess everything.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Well.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
Now she has restructured and she brought back the company
under a new parent name. Ain't Nobody coming to see
you Otis. You can never take your hands off the wheel.
That's what she said about this.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
That's the name of the company. Ain't Nobody coming to
see you Otis?

Speaker 2 (20:57):
I like you like that right now.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
She did say that she has a high profile celebrity
as the first franchisee, and the initial focus is going
to be Georgia and Florida, and then she'll be expanding nationwide.
And so she's also working with Chantel Daniels, who is
a franchise veteran who worked with seven eleven Planet Fitness
BP and so now she's going to be working with her.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
So love that all right.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Mayor Brandon Johnson in Chicago has signed an ice free
Zone executive Order that means that people cannot come on
to property, the private property to do ICE operations. So businesses, nonprofits, churches,
faith based institutions, other private entities are eligible for this program.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
He said.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Our school parking lots are not for ICE to load
their weapons. They are for Chicagoans who drop their kids
off to learn. Our libraries are not for ice to
prepare for a raid. They're for Chicagoans to read and relax.
Our parks are not for ICE to set up checkpoints.
They are for Chicagoans to play and enjoy. And that's
what he said at the press conference yesterday announcing that order,

(22:04):
so federal agents cannot use city owned property as staging areas.

Speaker 10 (22:09):
You know.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
The White House has, of course already responded to all
of this, and uh, of course they've called the mayor
sick for creating these ice free zones and said that
he is defending rapists and killers. How do you know
who these people are because you're just stopping anybody. You
don't even know if yeah, yeah, exactly, You just look
at someone and judge them, all right, Well, that is

(22:31):
your under the radar. We had the way up mixed
at the top of the hour plus cam Newton and
Ashley Nicole.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
Mos are going to be joining us.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
They are launching one O six and Sports on the fifteenth,
and we're going to talk about all of that.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
It's way up.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
You tapped in and way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Way she's like the tout like they Angela Jean, like
they Angela Jee.

Speaker 5 (22:51):
Man, She's spilling it all. This is yet way up, yo.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm here, maynos here.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
All right?

Speaker 4 (23:01):
And so Lebron has made his quote unquote second decision.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Now they tease this like it was going to be
a huge announcement.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
It was in reference to the decision that he made
back in twenty ten, where he announced that he planned
on signing with the Miami Heat. This time, though, this
is his continuing on his relationship with Hennessy.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Listen to this. Everyone's on pens and needles across the country.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
What's your decision?

Speaker 5 (23:25):
Man?

Speaker 3 (23:25):
This is tough in this fall.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
I'm gonna be taking my talents to HENNESSYVSOP VSOP.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
I feel like it's gonna give me the best opportunity
to win more at hosting.

Speaker 5 (23:37):
Not only that, win a signature cocktails. When I have
a good time, all.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
Right, And according to a news release that was issued
by Hennessy, Lebron said, it's an honor to continue this
partnership with Hennessy. Our first collection was about to share
pursuit of excellence and boundary pushing, and this new limited
edition is another chapter in that story. The design features
my crowning gesture, which is special for me and stands
for selling, lebration and connection. That's what this bottle is

(24:02):
made for. So it's a limited edition bottle as well.
I know that costs a grip.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
By the way, he was already with them, Yeah he did.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
He signed on with them last year and so this
is just yet another iteration of that partnership, all right.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Now moving on on Kiki Palmer Baby.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
This is Kiky Offset recently was a guest and they
talked about a few different things. For instance, he talked
about the guilt that he felt after take off past.

Speaker 12 (24:31):
To be honest with you, I never really said is
like I feel like I had that like some of
the responsibilities on me because what if I didn't go solo,
what if I just thugged it out with the business
not being right?

Speaker 3 (24:41):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 12 (24:42):
Maybe we wouldn't even been right there in that place
because I just know how we move when I'm around.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
I could read the room a little bit more.

Speaker 12 (24:48):
See this ain't the play. We need to get a
bout of here. I'm the one that that's gonna say it.
And then I wasn't there, So it's like not having
control or something like that, all right.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
In addition to that, he talked about where his relationship
stands right now with Quavo.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
I love Quaba. It's just I think it's just better
for us to be on our own different things.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Now.

Speaker 12 (25:06):
We could come back to some maybe a couple of
years from now, you know what I'm saying. The plant
was always for us to be doing our thing. It's solo,
extra top because I feel like that's what separated us
as a group. You know, with success on both sides
to bring things back, but.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
I don't know, it's hard, all right.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
And lastly, he did get a little more in depth
about his situation where Cardi and them going through a divorce.
That divorce is not yet finalized, but he does express
some regrets over how he handled things.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Here's what he said, I should.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
Respect her way more.

Speaker 12 (25:37):
You know what I mean, I made bad deshes as
a man, like stepping out. That's why when she left,
I had to take that on the chin, cause it's
like I could have been way. We got so much
our kids to live for. I was being selfish. I
wish it wasn't so much internet stuff going on. I
got it out of and got out of pocket a
couple of times, because bro, you feel like you getting bullied.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Yeah, I respect that respect fill up.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Yeah, Like finally she left.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
No one was saying, you gotta be honest at some point.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Yeah, you know, I could have handled things and been
more respectful.

Speaker 8 (26:08):
I think we all as men been in that situation before.
I had to take accountability for our actions honestly.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Okay, I like that. Another person speaking of Cardi B, posted.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
Underneath one of the interviews that Cardi B did about
a situation a running that she had with Cardi B.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Her name is Shanika Jenkins thirty nine.

Speaker 4 (26:27):
She said, I'm a single mom and I'll never forget
when I met Cardi B back in twenty eighteen, while
working at the hotel where she was staying. I didn't
have anyone to watch my toddler that day, so I
bought her to work and at her quietly hiding behind
the front desk. When Carti noticed her, I was terrified
at my get in trouble or lose my job. Instead,
she smiled with so much warmth and told me she
used to hide at her mom's job too. Later she
checked out and came back with coloring books, crayon snacks,

(26:50):
and toys for my daughter, and she left me a
huge tip. Cardi b spoke life into me as a
woman and as a mother that day. Her compassion and
understanding reminded me that even in hard times, we're seeing
valued and capable of rising above.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
She truly has a beautiful heart.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
Nice, see how you can just do like a nice
gesture and that will touch somebody? Yeah, feel all right
forever well? And I feel like you got very reflective
just now too. And on that note, ask ye with
the award winning advice giving Mano is coming up next
eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty any
question you have, We're here to help. And speaking of

(27:25):
you reflecting, let's put on Leon Thomas, but nice, what's
up his way up at Angela yee? And I'm here
with the award winning advice giving New Maino and we
got Melanie on the line today for asky what's up Melanie?

Speaker 7 (27:39):
So, I'm in school currently and I was wondering how
you deal with a male teacher basically being kind of
overbearing and arrogant when it comes to dealing with females
in the classroom.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
So it's not just you, it's all the women, it's
literally all of us. Well, like, what kind of stuff does.

Speaker 7 (28:00):
He do instead of giving grace when it comes to
performing our duties and everything like that, he'll kind of
get loud with us and have little bits of attitudes
instead of helping us, because we're all there to learn
and that's what you're there to do. But it just
seems like his masculine energy, he throws that around because

(28:21):
he knows we're female.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
And this is something that all the women, you guys
have spoken with each other and really like came together
to feel like.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
There's an issue.

Speaker 7 (28:30):
Yes, yes, ma'am.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
So who is it that y'all can talk to above
him because it feels like this is something that needs
to be reported.

Speaker 7 (28:37):
Yes, and we actually try to talk to the higher
ups about it, but it just seemed like they gave
him a conversation, and it actually got worse after that.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
This has to be something that's documented because you actually
are paying this man's salary and he actually does work
for you, And so in a situation like this, you
guys have to be real loud about this because, like
I said, this is something that all of you are
having an issue with. I don't know if there's like
a paper that you have at school, like a newspaper
or some type of like digital online paper where you

(29:09):
guys can actually voice your concerns about this.

Speaker 7 (29:12):
Yes, we actually have follow ups each week and we've
actually written about that and they've seen it, and like
I said, they've had conversations, but it just seems like
the more we talk about it, the more he's like
just jabbing even more.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Yeah, but y'all got it.

Speaker 8 (29:28):
You gotta get all fully committed, and y'all gotta stay
unified and just keep going loud.

Speaker 4 (29:33):
Even outside the school. Is there a local newspaper there
actually is?

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Yep, Because I would.

Speaker 4 (29:37):
Reach out to even like outside the school and make
it a bigger deal and I would demand to see
some action take place, and even if that means that
like all of us aren't going to take this class
anymore because you know, if we're going to fail and
we're paying for something then but it's also not right
right now because it can affect like when you graduate
and the credits that you get, and.

Speaker 7 (29:57):
It actually does, and that's what a lot of the
girls are were about us. But you're right, we have
the documentation where we can go forward with them.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Yeah, I mean, it really might be time to consult
a lawyer because people sometimes don't take things seriously until
you know there's some type of repercussions that they feel like.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Can happen from it. And if that means all of
us together.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
A lawyer will take this case if they feel like
this is something we could win, just and know that
like they'll get whatever from a lawsuit after.

Speaker 7 (30:23):
Definitely, that actually sounds pretty good because we were talking
about you know.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
We're like, what he's doing can't be right. No, it's not.

Speaker 7 (30:31):
You just feel like we need to take the next steps.
We actually have a chat about it and everything.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Okay, good, it's time to take those next steps.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
You know what to do.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
And I'm glad that you guys are all unified.

Speaker 7 (30:40):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Anybody, all right, good luck and let us let us
know what happens. All right, Well, thank you so much
to Melanie for calling us. And you know, sometimes you
got to go above their head and when then that
doesn't work, you got to call in the big dogs,
get a lawyer and get some money.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
This is serious business, all right.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
And when we come back, oh man, we're going to
be doing by Cam Newton and Ashley Nicomas. They have
a new show starting on the fifteenth on BT one
O six and Sports.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
But of course there's so much to talk about with
these two. It's way up.

Speaker 5 (31:09):
Yeah, it's gonna turn me up.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
Here we go again.

Speaker 5 (31:13):
This is Way Up with Angela Ye. Listen, it's way yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
I'm vor my guy Cas because he's here with me
asking the Coomas and Cam Newton. I hear the host
of one O six and Sports. Welcome to Way Up
with Angela Ye, and thank you for being here. Don't
try to get unlikely now.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
All that right?

Speaker 10 (31:31):
The energy I was just trying to, you know, make
sure that y'all smell a palasanto and the sage because
I'm trying.

Speaker 3 (31:38):
To be on my best behavior.

Speaker 10 (31:39):
What sort of like similarities in diffrancis can we expect
from like one O six apart days to One of.

Speaker 3 (31:44):
Six and Sports.

Speaker 1 (31:45):
I think the biggest thing that Cam and I both
have been trying to get across like this entire time
is like, we're not looking to replace One on six
in Park and I don't think you can. And respectfully,
so many people are so attached to the brand and
I get it, you know, culturally it meant so much
to us, and we're not trying to erase that. We're
basically just trying to take what the show did really well,
and that was the emphasis and the importance and putting

(32:05):
the culture on a major stage, a major platform, but
doing that for sports.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
But we've been making it very.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
Clear because of how people how protective people are of
the one on six brand, Like, we're not trying to
erase the twenty five years and trust me, we couldn't
if we tried.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
So One on six and Sports, you guys will be
interviewing athletes, but how do you do out the line
between what goes on in sports and what goes on
in their personal life? Like we just saw Clay Thompson
getting a question about Meghan Stallion.

Speaker 1 (32:32):
I would never do that, right, I'm not I don't
really care about who clays dating.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Do you care?

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Hell, yeah, you don't. You people, That's what I'm like.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
You you do that?

Speaker 3 (33:00):
That entertaining and amuse it. I don't either.

Speaker 10 (33:04):
But when you have to create content, it's your job
to cover the story as best as you know. How
Now you're not telling lies. It's from things that you know,
from your dog Wiki to your dog Google, to your
dog Gemini.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
To everybody all that they you use your resources.

Speaker 10 (33:23):
But the thing that I know to be true and
what will be respectable from an athlete is as long
as you are held accountable or you're holding people accountable,
favorites ain't a place that is going to make you
have longevity. And whether you talk about this person, you
talk about that person. I think that's the hardest thing

(33:44):
is when you have so much respect and admiration for
a person and you are able to say, hey, i'm
talking about the football player here, I'm not talking about
the person. It happens all the time. With my critique
with Jaalen Hurts, Yeah, I'll going together that you see
what I'm saying. And it's also my critique with you know,
I'm a fan of all sets new album.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
You know what I'm saying, but.

Speaker 10 (34:05):
Living on her rock, which direction you want to go
with car to B. You want to go all set
Stefan Diggs, or you want to go Nicki Minaj. It's
like it's so much there, so we will ask a
question one more time. You don't want to hear about
Klay Thompson and making the.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Stylelay gonna do. But I would say, I'm gonna tell
you what I've learned.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
I agree with when she says, if I see something
outside that's not posted, I'm not going to bring it up.
But if it's something that's posted, I feel like it's
fair game because you don't want to be that person
where you walk in the room and people are like, here,
come ask you know everybody, Well, it's.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
Because I'm here, gon kill, here, go call and I'm
here with.

Speaker 10 (34:47):
You. Know what I'm saying makes you y'all tune in
every Wednesday on October started October fifteenth, this was.

Speaker 4 (34:54):
A hot topic lately the whole I used to curry
thing and I would love to hear both of your
opinions on the conversations she has who goes first her daddy.
People were so upset about I have my feelings and
we'll talk about that in a second, but she basically
was saying on there that her goal in life when
she was younger was like to be a career oriented person,
not necessarily have kids. And then she got married, got

(35:17):
pregnant right away, and what she thought was gonna happen
just disappear.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
And she's fine with that, she would in trade.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
But people are giving her a lot of backlash for
even saying that, in acting like, oh, you got with
Steph Cayrie. She's ungrateful, she's this, she's that. Why would
you say that? So I want to see what your
guy's thoughts are.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I think people purposely misunderstood her, and I think people
purposely misunderstand her.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
There's something about a you should curry for some reason.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
And I don't know if it's the love affair people
have for stuff as an athlete, as a regarded athlete. God, yeah,
I think it's that they always feel like she's trying
to like soun him. But the way that I took
it when I listened to it is that's not uncommon
for women in some way, shape or form. You know,
you go into your life thinking it's going to look
a certain way, and then marriage happens, or babies happen,
or let's flip it, you focus on your career and

(36:01):
then you look up and you're forty and you're like, Wow,
I don't have kids and never got married. I prioritized
my career, Like did I do it wrong? So I
think that it's a pressure that women feel that men
don't feel, because men are given the grace of as
they get older, they only get better. Women there's an
expiration date put on our prime.

Speaker 10 (36:19):
Essentially, what I would say is would you be more
mad if she thought it and never said it or
actually said what she was thinking? A lot of people
say it, and that's their truth. If you can't relate,
you shouldn't debate. You can chime in and do like that.
And that's where you get kind of because it's how
you're chiming in. I would never why would she do?

(36:40):
It's like, no, but home boy, they've never.

Speaker 3 (36:48):
Insinuated that there was you see what I'm saying.

Speaker 10 (36:52):
So it's like, you gotta gotta look at the optics.
Certain things may be said, but what do we actually see?
And that what we should be focused on. Am I
mad that she said.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
What she said?

Speaker 4 (37:03):
Man?

Speaker 10 (37:03):
She's entitled to whatever she wants to do. And I
think that's what maturity gets you, that perspective. Hell no,
but that's not to say that I have not hurt
somebody from what I've said that I was in a
relationship with.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
And those are certain things that I'm believe that she
will learn.

Speaker 10 (37:19):
And that's a conversation that they have, right and optics
doesn't doesn't look right. But we're good though, And I've
been there, so yeah, what she said doesn't sound right,
doesn't look right, but we're good. This is what I
can respect, ayshauld Carry for saying she said what she felt.

(37:40):
And there's an often missed word when we're talking about
a relationship, when we're talking about marriage, you're married, you're
in a relationship, but are you happy? Because every single
day that they've been married long enough to be able
to say, hey, during this stretch of our marriage or
our relationship, we were going through a rough time and

(38:00):
you're going to go through those times. People look on
the internet or social media as if to say the
relationship is a starting point, but it no, or it's
the finishing destination, but it's just the starting point.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
What's up his way up with Angela Yee And instead
of last word today with you guys, we have Cam
Newton and asking Nicole Mas joining me and Kaz what did.

Speaker 3 (38:23):
You hear about Cam Newton? Let's just keep it a book.
Let's talk before we get out of here.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
Let me see what have I heard about you? But
I know you want to have more children.

Speaker 4 (38:31):
I know you're scared of divorce extremely So that's why
we don't know where this relationship situation will it?

Speaker 2 (38:37):
You know, marriage? Is that ever in the cards? We
don't know. Let me see what else have we heard
a lot of people care You asked me what I've
heard that?

Speaker 3 (38:46):
I just don't know. You keep going, but I can
still give like a footnote.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
Of like, oh well, because I think when sometimes people
are in relationships they feel like you know that.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
That leads to marriage at some point.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
They never asked are you happy? And I always would
love to say happiness here.

Speaker 4 (39:04):
Like my parents got divorced when I was but they
still live together to this day.

Speaker 3 (39:09):
They do.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
And I've never been like I got to get married.
I got to get married, so it's not but if
it happens, it happens. I'm okay with being with somebody
forever and not doing that.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
What said, are they knocking boots? No, I don't think so,
but I.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
Don't know.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Asked the questions that they're shaking up on the couch,
they go to their separate corner.

Speaker 4 (39:37):
Who's snaking out the house? I never heard nothing when
I went past their room say that.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
I think it doesn't.

Speaker 1 (39:44):
I think it also, like like my parents have been
married my entire life. They're still married, and marriage is
not something I ever thought about, Like I.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
Never really thought about it, kind of like I you
should carry no kidding, I mean I've never.

Speaker 1 (39:58):
I never like I never even vised my wedding. I
never played bride in my head. I never did any
of that.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
That wasn't think about what you're gonna wear to your wedding.
At least you're gonna wear. How just like gonna wear?

Speaker 3 (40:10):
Tell you what's gonna lead to me wearing nothing?

Speaker 4 (40:15):
As you get older, you may not even care about
sex anymore. I could see that, like just being like,
I'm just happy being here and spooning.

Speaker 10 (40:24):
Kind of.

Speaker 1 (40:29):
If anything on the internet real about you, about you,
anything you've seen, is it factual?

Speaker 3 (40:33):
A lot? Yeah, some things that's true in it, But
there's more things that's like wait, what.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
Like what, what's something you said that You're like, dang
where they got that from?

Speaker 3 (40:42):
H you are really good at what you do.

Speaker 10 (40:47):
I don't know, you know, my brain is spinning, but
I'm just gonna say, you know what's on the internet
that is true?

Speaker 3 (40:53):
Make sure you told me man that show? You know
what I'm saying.
