I think we're going to do some really cool things
and I'm definitely excited for the upcoming season. So congratulations
to her for that. She was actually with the Washington

Let's talk about a post by Drake that he put
up last night lending support to Tory Lanes.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
It's way up with Angela.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
Yee, I'm Angela yee am. My host Randy Rozario's here
with me today. Hey, hey, hey, let's get into some
ut now. Drake is showing support for Tory Lanes. He
posted last night to free him. He said, three you
what is the three for?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Is that something? I don't I don't know why? Three?

Speaker 6 (04:14):
Is it something?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Remember?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Maybe I don't know.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
But all I know is remember they didn't used to
get along and now they they mended their relationship and
now they are super tight besties.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, now they're besties. All right now? Ohm a lay.
This whole situation got out of control.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
There was a concert and this was in London and
a woman went on stage, but she was on a date.
To be clear, jessonni it what was her name, Jasani?
She was on a date with her boyfriend. She bought
the tickets and bought because she said it, She bought
the tickets and she got on stage and started dancing
with him. But it wasn't just like you know, a

(04:52):
two steps.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
It was it was the dirty day over, the.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
Janet Jackson style. Let me get you to get I'm
shooting my shot.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And we know that's what that song is, you know.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
So anyway, she then went on social media to explain
herself and explain why she went up there and danced
the way that she did, but also to apologize publicly
because her boyfriend definitely looked disappointed.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
He actually left what he definitely like did the hair
drop and walked out.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Well, this was happening.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
What did you think he was going to do? Girl,
You're literally on stage like dry humping somebody. He was like,
if it was usher, it's okay. No, But here's what
she had to say.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
First, I want to publicly apologize to him. Obviously me
and him, we've had private conversations, but it was honestly
a mistake. If I need this would like get this far,
I wouldn't even go to a concert.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Yeah, So she says she didn't know it was going
to get that far.

Speaker 9 (05:45):
Now.

Speaker 4 (05:45):
She also says that she told him in advance, if
they pull me up there, I'm going.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Here's what she said.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Also, me and him, like we've had private conversations about
going on stage with Mnete because he does this shows.
I said to him, if I was to get called
on stage, I'm going to go on stage, and he
said that's fine, Like he's been saying.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
That's fine because you don't think it's gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
No, It's kind of like when you when your dude
is liking the Instagram model that got three hundred thousand,
like the followers and whatnot, right, and they liking his stuff, Like,
you're not thinking you'll do actually got a chance at
the girl.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
He's like, yeah, if I see Halle Berry, ill get
a pass. Yeah, you get a pair off the time
if Rihanna went to show, Yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 6 (06:26):
But then it actually happened.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Yeah, you're not thinking that your dog, your do really
got the sauce to actually pull it.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Well after all of that, Ky Sannatt saw that and
actually gifted her I guess probably ex boyfriend now twenty
thousand dollars and hooked him up with a new woman.
He did twenty women versus one man dates, and he
had the opportunity to go ahead and accept the young
lady that Kay Sanat gifted.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
I guess winners win, you know, you know the winners
prevailing the in Shout out to him, Shout out to
Kai for using his platform for that, because that's really
dope to me.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Now, Randy, as a married woman, if you and you're
also an artist, if you get pulled on stage at
a concert.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
I'm gonna I'm gonna immediately go into like bromo, Okay,
I'm about to I'm gonna do them up and down bops,
something where you know, yeah, I'm gonna go into my
masculine energy, so you don't even think that you want
to grind on me.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Well, when you see it, it is definitely very naughty.
And some people feel like they kissed because their.

Speaker 6 (07:24):
Fair friends got really close.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
We're really close.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
But now these women are all in this man's DMS
because they're like, oh, he's fine, he's this, he's that.
So you know, just more attention to it. But that
is your yet. And when we come back, we have
about last night. Now, I know you're on tour, so
we're gonna discuss things that you've been doing these past
few days. I just got back from the South Beach
Wine and Food Festival literally this morning, like one am,
so we'll discuss what we did. It's way up at

(07:47):
Angela Ye and Randy Rozario is here with me.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
It's way up.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
So about last night last night, last night I went down.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
It's way up at Angela Ye. I'm Angela Yee and
look was intown. Randy Rosarie is here from Detroit. You
know her from also radio also as an author. Also,
you got your own talk show too.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
I do the Randy Rosario Show, the first talk show
on to b Okay, and I'm a part of the
Tonight's Conversation podcast. It's a traveling podcast that's on tour
right now. And that's why I was in town. Initially,
we had a show at the job At Center on
Friday and Saturday.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Okay, nice, and then what'd you do last night?

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Last night I recorded episodes for my show, The Randy
Rosario Show and for Periosis with Mandy Okay, and then.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
We went and got dinner. It was dope. It was
really fun.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
They went to Brooklyn chop House.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Yeah, favorite here in New York, which, by the way,
is not in Brooklyn.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
It's in Manhattan.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Everybody always thinks just in Brooklyn when you hear Brooklyn
chop House. All right, Well have multiple locations though, right, yeah,
they have. I'm here in New York. They have two
downtown Manhattan, one Midtown Manhattan.

Speaker 6 (08:47):
Okay. The short ribs were really good.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Okay, all right, we like and they have dumplings. It's
like their specialty dumplings were good too. Yeah, dumplings, and
they have a whole dumpling menu book and everything.

Speaker 6 (08:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Yeah, Well, I just got back from Miami. I was
at the South Each Wine and Food Festival. I was
co hosting the cookout with Chef JJ, so shout out
to him when I tell you hear my voice, Yeah,
you have a good time. It was a lot, but
we had so much fun being out there. And then
I did this interview for Wealth on the Water. But
my guy, Cedric Nash, he has a a yacht out there.

(09:17):
It's called Ecstasy, so he actually does interviews on the water,
and so it was an interesting conversation just talking about
real estate, but then we pivoted and we were talking
about his own situation. He was being married and divorced twice,
so he was just talking about finances when it comes
to marriage and then of course when it comes to divorce,
and then of course child support, all of those different things.

(09:39):
So I think we're going to do something with him
at some point on lip service, just to talk about money,
love and all of those things that happened. But I mean,
I also went to Marcus Saminson's Red Rooster restaurant in
Overtown and he had a food festival out there as well,
and I went to House of Max.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Shout out to my goud big teach.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
He used to work in the music business way back
in the day before I did. He managed Pitbull and
this is when I was working with Eminem and so
we know each other. Yeah, that's actually how I started
really with all of this at his radio station on
Shade forty five. But before that, I helped launch Eminem's
clothing line. Okay, and so so.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
You've really just been locked in with Detroit for a minute. Yeah,
I have.

Speaker 6 (10:18):
That's beautiful. I didn't know that.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Yeah, so that's I've been really familiar. That's what really
got me started coming to Detroit. And that's why I've
seen like all the changes that have been happening. And
so I was at Red Rooster, I was at the Overtown,
I was at the cookout, and then I came back
to New York landed around twelve thirty midnight, and now
I'm here with you.

Speaker 6 (10:35):
Randy, Hey, hey, thank you for having me and for
being here. That's how I be here. We could have
did a playback.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Well, listen, we want to love this part. She was like,
I love how positive this show is. But what we
also love is no judgment and tell us a secret
is coming up next eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty is a number. That's where you guys call
in and Randy and I are not gonna judge you.
We're gonna listen to what you have to say. You
get to remain anonymous.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Randy. I know it's gonna be hard for you.

Speaker 6 (11:02):
I was gonna say, I might judge a little bit
of my head.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
But what you can do after they tell us a
secret is you can take this clip, post it on
your page and judge them.

Speaker 6 (11:09):
There, okay, o work? Oh thank that's all I need.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
Hey, you I need two nine two fifty one fifty.
Call us up and tell us a secret. It's way up.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret,
what's up? Its way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
I'm Angela Yee and my host for the day, Randy
Rosario's here.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Hey, hey, hey, hey, and listen.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Follow Randy on social media because you will see she
has a lot of commentary on things.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
But today for tell us a secret. We are not
gonna judge anybody.

Speaker 5 (11:37):
No, we're gonna keep it nice. Yes, we're gonna tell
them that you're gonna artist right people. Yes, I'm gonna
pour positivity into.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
The Okay, well you heard it here, Ladies and gentlemen
eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty Hello anonymous,
call it tell us a secret.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Hi, So with my friends, my gyfriend, you were smoking
it up on whatever and then. But the thing is
he had a girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
Ooh you know his girlfriend?

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Yeah, we were friends and not anymore.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
So she knows about this.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Oh no she don't.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Oh, okay, so this is a former friend's boyfriend.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
I guess to find the good in the situation, I
can understand how that happens, because you know, t a
she can make you a rouse.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
You don't have to find a good which is not
trying to find good in it.

Speaker 9 (12:23):
Now.

Speaker 6 (12:27):
It was so, it was so, it was worth it.
It was Are you trying to cuff them?

Speaker 8 (12:32):
Not really?

Speaker 3 (12:33):
You'll do it again though you have? Oh do you?

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Is this partly also revenge because you're not friends with
this girl anymore?

Speaker 2 (12:41):
No, it's not the friends.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
I just wanted to do it, okay.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
For your birthday. Bro Okay, I figured you were a
liber or leo.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
Okay, well, thank you for sharing with us. At least
y'all not friends no more. So it's not as bad.
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (12:58):
You're a great person.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
You're not gonna lieller.

Speaker 5 (13:06):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (13:08):
Heyd how good?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
It's me and Randy. We're ready to hear your secret
and not judge you.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
I got a girl friend. Her keys really love me,
but this woman makes more financial decisions. I got to
sell to me coming up when you hear me. She
really clean and I just don't know how to let
it go. I'm gonna feel bad.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
So you want to break up her over because she's
bad with the finances, and that's that's an issue for you.

Speaker 9 (13:33):
Man.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Everything okay, you you work or you're you're waiting on
this settlement.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
Both okay.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
I feel like you to you, I feel like you're
about to come up and you just don't want to
share your money.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
To war, you know. I try to teach her how
to do this, and everybody.

Speaker 5 (13:50):
That's part of a learning that's part of your role
as the man of the household. Though you're the leader, right,
so leader and teacher and show her how to be
more financially responsible.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
And you don't have to give her access to your money.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
I mean, yeah, but even so, you can leave a
horse to the water.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
But you can't make them drink and you know what,
it feels like. It's not the only thing that bothers
you about her.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
It kind of feels like the relationships over and now
you're about to get this money and it's over over.

Speaker 5 (14:14):
All, right, So get your money, give her two thousand
dollars and breakup.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
What about the kids? You said you love her kids?

Speaker 6 (14:23):
Yeah, how long you've been, how long you'll been together?
How long you been in their life? Now you don't
even know them kids?

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Man, move on, youget all about you soon.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
Sometimes the best thing to do is to make a
clean break though, and I will say, it's been six months,
you know, instead of trying to still stand there because
she's gonna end up with somebody else once, y'all break up,
so you know, a clean break is good if you
know you don't want to be with this woman.

Speaker 8 (14:46):
Yeah, you right.

Speaker 6 (14:48):
He's so disappointed though.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Yeah, beg for a little something, see what you know
what I mean?

Speaker 3 (14:54):
But how much is the settlement?

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Man?

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Better?

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Well, listen, be good with your money. Do what you
need to do because it is still your money. Okay,
thank you for calling, Thank you too. All right, Well
that was tell us a secret, and when we come back,
we have yet and let's talk about Wendy Williams. I
know everybody's been talking about this Lifetime docuseries, and so
we'll get into what our thoughts are as well.

Speaker 7 (15:19):
It's way up, yo, She's about to blow the lid
ab off this, but let's get it. Angela's feeling that
yee te Come.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
And get the tea.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
It's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. And
Randy Rosario's here. What up though, guest hosting today and
we've been talking about Wendy Williams Lifetime docuseries.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Where's Wendy Williams.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
We've been talking about this behind the scenes, and now
we're going to share some of the things with you.
I know parts one and Part two out of all
four parts have aired on Lifetime so far. Okay, so
let's talk about some of the things that we found
out from watching this Lifetime docuseries. You know, they've been
filming this and over the past few years, Wendy has
been struggling with deteriorating mental health, with poor memory, with

(15:59):
the inability to come communicated with alcoholism.

Speaker 3 (16:02):
And we learned a lot of things from watching this.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Her family's and it actually her sister's in it, and
they said she's not in a tour's end because at
first she wasn't going to film the sister Yeah, okay,
but then she decided to. Now, one thing that happens
is Wendy Williams accuses the guardian because she has a
court appointed guardian that is scary to me, right, so
they're in charge of her money. She can't even access
her money without this guardian approving this right, And so

(16:27):
here's what happens where she accuses the guardian of stealing money.

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Has stolen from my account.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
I don't know because I'm not involved in your finances,
but if you have proof and evidence of that.

Speaker 10 (16:38):
There's no money for me at Wells Fargo, none.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
Like your accounts at ZIP. That's what you're being told, yep.
And I will sue all the people involved, all right.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
And what we find out in this documentaries is Wendy's manager,
will Shelby, who's been up here before, tells producers that
she has expressed that she wants the One Day Mood
to Miami, where her family is, and they said that
everything has to be approved by the court though, so
she cannot make any decisions on her own That is.

Speaker 5 (17:09):
So scary to me, Like for you to just be
an adult person that you know, did the work, did
what you're supposed to do in life, and now you
have to ask some one permission to make every move.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Like send me tomorrow, even to access your own money,
which is that's a scary thing.

Speaker 5 (17:23):
That's the scariest part for me, Like I didn't get
all this work to build this brand, to make this money,
to make all this money to support myself, and I
have to ask you can I have a dollar?

Speaker 9 (17:31):
Right?

Speaker 4 (17:31):
And I mean the fact is that also she wants
to leave that money for her son, you know, and
now she can't even do that. Another thing that went
viral was her interaction with her publicist at the time
and Sean Zanoti. So people were talking about this and
here's what happened.

Speaker 10 (17:50):
I wish you would get like both suction okay, what
brand put it in the same position, Please go down
or something and make your.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Father okay, all right?

Speaker 4 (18:04):
Now people were talking about this, but Randy, we were
discussing behind the scenes dimension how this can affect how
people treat other people.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
It can, But that felt like real, Wendy, that felt like, oh,
gu Wendy just creeping out, and she was like, I'm like, okay, cool,
You're still in there, Auntie.

Speaker 6 (18:17):
You you know, you got the authenticness steal.

Speaker 4 (18:19):
But on the other side of things, her son has
revealed that she has dementa that's alcohol induced.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Yes, so that's something else that we learned.

Speaker 4 (18:27):
He said he was able to learn more about things
going on with his mother and because she was drinking
so much, it was starting to affect her headspace and
her brain. And she first learned of her brain damage
in twenty nineteen when she was in rehab, but didn't
get the official dementia and aphasia diagnosis until twenty twenty three.

Speaker 6 (18:44):
She's so young to be suffering from dementia. She's like
fifty nine.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Yeah, that's I mean, that's wild.

Speaker 4 (18:51):
Now here is here They are talking about her alcoholism.
Her manager is trying to get her to stop drinking.
She I guess finished a whole bottle but wouldn't admit
to it.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
Did you drink this whole thing today?

Speaker 6 (19:04):
Yes?

Speaker 10 (19:04):
No.

Speaker 11 (19:05):
Don't you feel like maybe this is a bit excessive
because we have a lot of business restaurant on I
know I said you was drunk, but I just don't
know if this is a good idea. You so you
think you're perfectly fine having as many drinks as you want,
perfectly But I'm just gonna put it downstairs to keep
it cool.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Keep it there, man, it's really sad. And I saw
this was trending all weekend. Different things from its trending.
I saw a lot of people posting their pictures with
Wendy Williams and showing her some love and support the
best way that they can.

Speaker 6 (19:34):
That made me happy.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
I like seeing everyone kind of show up and say, like,
you know, you know, free Wendy and support Wendy and
things like that. That really made me happy because you know,
a lot of people have some like negative to say
about her because of her career and you know how
she came up and whatnot. But at the end of
the day, she's still human. That's still somebody's mama, ex wife,
that's still a child of God. So you know, I
like the fact that people are showing up for her.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
All right, Well, again, parts went into aur in lifetime.
There's going to be four parts all together. I see
that Kevin, her ex husband, also put up a post
and you were telling us about this, He made a.

Speaker 5 (20:06):
Post on and he basically said that just to summarize,
he didn't say this completely, but basically he said that
the sister, Wendy's sister, basically tried. Yeah, Wanda tried to
connect with the show that Wendy used to be on.
What the name of the company, Debt, Maar and Mercury,
that's a production company, So she tried to connect with
them behind Wendy's back. Basically, he's saying that that was

(20:28):
actually debtmar and Mercury trying to do an insurance claim allegedly,
that's his point of view, and they ended up kind
of spinning and back during Wanda and putting her out
of the deal. Okay, so that ended up basically being
a replacement for Wendy. That's kind of how he's putting it.
But my real thing that I liked was Tory hard
in the comments, Like he said, she said, none of
this would be happening if it wasn't for you. You were
supposed to protect her, and she and I agree, he's

(20:51):
the start of all this decline, all.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
Right, Well that is, and I saw a lot of
people saying this shouldn't have came out, and they feel
like she's being taken advantage of. But it does feel
like the family feels like there's nothing they can do
and maybe this was a last like, please somebody help.
This court appointed guardianship is not working out and we
need to make sure we take the power back within
the family.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
But there's a lot that needs to be done.

Speaker 5 (21:13):
Yeah, it reminds me of the Britney Spears conservatorship. It
reminds me of how she was like under her dad's
thumb and you know now that she's not, you know,
things they have to do to work to get back
to what normal looks like. But if her family is
able and willing to take care of her, let her
go be with her family.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
All right, Well that is your utam. When we come back.
We have under the radar. Man. We had this cell
phone outage last week. It really affected me.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
And you will not believe how much money they're trying
to pay us as compensation.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
It's way up.

Speaker 6 (21:36):
It's in the.

Speaker 7 (21:37):
News that relates to you. These stories are flying under
the radar.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
It's way up.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
But Angela Yee, I'm Angela Yee and Randy Rozariel's here
with me today.

Speaker 6 (21:45):
Hey, what up?

Speaker 9 (21:46):
Though?

Speaker 6 (21:46):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
Thank you for being here, and it's time for the
under the radar story. It's not necessarily in the headlines,
but you should know them.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
By the way.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
President Joe Biden is in New York City today, just
to fyi, So if you are wondering what's going on,
he's arriving at one forty pm at JFK Airport and
then he'll be in the Wall Street area. He's going
to a campaign fundraiser at two forty five, and then
at six thirty tonight he's right back out at JFK.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
He did departs at seven pm.

Speaker 6 (22:13):
So happy, I'm gonna be at the other airport.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Yeah, listen, I'm just giving you all that heads up
if you're in New York and this traffic.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Did you know he was here, Randy.

Speaker 6 (22:19):
No, I did not.

Speaker 5 (22:20):
That's why I'm like, I'm happy that I'm going to
be at the other one and let me get there
as soon as we are done here.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
All right.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
And there was a cell phone network outage last week
that definitely affected me at and T in particular was affected.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
It was hard because I actually had.

Speaker 4 (22:34):
To go and be a keynote speaker at a luncheon,
so I left work and I had to get in
the Uber. But then once I got there, I had
no more WiFi, so I couldn't get text messages, couldn't
get calls. I couldn't text nobody to be like, I'm here,
can you come get me? It was a lot of
things I couldn't do.

Speaker 5 (22:50):
AT and T is like the delta of phones. So
you know, y'all sit on y'all throne so high and mighty.
Usually T Mobile would never I can't believe you guys
had an outage.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
And well they are good. Offer to give us some
money for it.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
That's beautiful, Okay, cool, So you get like a whole
month comped for your five dollars.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
We get five dollars credit on our account.

Speaker 6 (23:09):
I can't even send a textbook.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
A bottles, so yeah, and it's gonna take one to
two billing cycles to see the credit.

Speaker 6 (23:16):
Stop playing with me, So I.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
Gotta wait for my five dollars. But thank you AT
and T. Thank you for acknowledging.

Speaker 4 (23:20):
You acknowledging the inconvenience you caused for hours that day,
and that is your under the radar. You know, we
got the way up mix at the top of the
hour plus I have my friend Roshar Richie joining me today.
She's done a lot of stuff on the hill. She's
a commentator, she's a political analyst. She really does this
work and there's a lot that she wants to talk about.
Because it is an election year, we should always be

(23:42):
paying attention on what's going on in politics.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
But she'll break it down for you. It's way up.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
She's like the talk like they Angelie Jean, like they
Angelie Jean Man.

Speaker 7 (23:51):
She's spilling it all. This is yet way up.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
It's way up. But Angela Yee, I'm Angela Yee. And
my guess so Randy was Ario's here today.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
He'll be back right absolutely, whenever you write you want me to,
you said, next, Susan, you'll be here.

Speaker 6 (24:06):
Next toime to you.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
All right, well let's get into some YETI now, y'all
got to break this down because Portia, it was all
good just a week ago with her and Simon, and
now it looks like they're getting divorced.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Did that shock you?

Speaker 6 (24:20):
They are not getting divorced. You don't think so No,
I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
Well, she said, thank you for your prayers and support.
He said, well, stop loving my wife. When divorce is final.
And so you know, somebody posted, if immigration finds out
your sponsor be it your wife or other, has a
criminal record, it ain't gonna fly with immigration, and he
posted yep in response to that, so you know it
may be something to do with him with his immigration status.

(24:45):
I don't know what's going on, but somebody also posted
it saddens me to hear about the divorce. I also
think about the vows you both took, for better or
for worse. The first test that came against your marriage
or your wife ran to the divorce court, respectfully, it
makes one think that the marriage was a marriage of
convenience and not love. Despite all of that, what about
your children whose lives were blended as a family. And
he responded respect with the prayer hands, you know them,

(25:07):
prayer hands, I mean anything them.

Speaker 6 (25:10):
They are not getting divorced.

Speaker 5 (25:12):
Why do you say that, because she literally just announced
last week that she's going to be on Housewives again,
and the way she announced it was with her high
fenuted like unless she went through his phone or something
like that, and he got caught up in something seventy
two hours prior to it.

Speaker 6 (25:26):
Is giving storyline.

Speaker 3 (25:28):
Okay, So you don't believe it.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
And then there's another story about him getting hit with
a lawsuit from a private jet company for breach of
contract and failing to make payments. And according to this lawsuit,
he owes them close to a million dollars.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
So I'm not sure what's going on with that.

Speaker 6 (25:43):
She sat down with the alleged scammer.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
But you know, he just stopped paying.

Speaker 6 (25:48):
It seems like for you know how you can that's
the scam.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
All right.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
Well, I don't know what's going on, but we're going
to be following this story to see and who knows.

Speaker 5 (25:58):
But watching it on next up, the next season of
Real Housewives. We're gonna love to see it.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
I'm locked in, all right.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
And what Pie Goldberg is going to be developing exclusive
programming for a new black owned streamer called black Fam
blk Fam.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
She has become an equity partner.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
It's a black owned, ad supported free streaming service that
officially launched actually today, all right. It was founded by
WarnerMedia Head of Design Larry Adams. So it's going to
focus on family friendly content that shares authentic, inclusive stories,
incorporating radical diversity, equity, inclusion, and empowerment right now.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
They have original.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
Series, over one thousand hours of animation titles, and over
twenty syndicated shows.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
They have documentaries and more.

Speaker 6 (26:38):
That sounds dope.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
I wonder are they allowing the independent creators to upload
to the platform as well.

Speaker 4 (26:43):
We got to see how they plan to do this,
because they're gonna she's an equity partner, like we said,
so she's gonna help steer the creative development of programming
that's exclusive to the platform.

Speaker 3 (26:54):
Okay, so we'll see how that goes.

Speaker 6 (26:56):
So you know, in Detroit we took over to b
oh my, we can take over that one too.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Tell me about it, y'all not playing with these TV movies.

Speaker 6 (27:03):
We got production studios and everything in the city right now.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
And not even just that, but also on Amazon Prime
Prime you. I think Detroit has like the best independent
films out of any city, hands down, hands down, hands down.
All right, Well, speaking of Detroy, since you, oh so Detroit,
Randy Rosario's here and we're gonna talk more about her
and what she has going on when we come back
to so you guys can get to know her even better.

(27:26):
I know if you follow her on social media, you'll
know she's quite opinionated. She's very much on the pust
of what's happening in news and entertainment.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
So we're gonna talk to her more.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
It's way up, oh more, way up with Angela. Now,
it's way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and
my guest host, Randy Rozario's here today. Hey, now, Randy,
I want people to understand like your whole background, because
I've known you for quite some time in this entertainment space. Now,
when I first met you, you had your own independent

(27:55):
radio station.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
Oh so radio, yes, so talk about that. So Also
Radio is a AT based radio station. It's going to
be ten years old in October. We're relaunching it in July.
So excited that came about because my starting radio was
in terrestrial radio and they didn't see the vision of
understanding where where it was going. For the future, you

(28:18):
have to marry terrestrial with digital kind of like what
you do.

Speaker 6 (28:21):
You're on terrestrial, but you're.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
Also going to be streaming and putting this on YouTube
and things like that.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
And this was early on though.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
This was like you said, this was like twenty thirteen,
twenty fourteen type time and actually yeah, twenty twelve, twenty thirteen,
and they didn't see the vision. So I literally went
off and started my own internet based radio station. I
really wish that I had the foresight to understand to
call it all podcasting because it's literally the same thing basically, right,
But I didn't have the I didn't know.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
That, and podcasting wasn't really a thing.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
It wasn't really, it wasn't. It was it was on
the stove, but it wasn't. It wasn't cooking yet for real,
for real.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
But I also want people to understand how much of
an entrepreneur you are. And also I think what helps
is that you're very open about things that are going
on in your life.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
Yeah, you gotta be.

Speaker 3 (29:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
So there's a lot of journeys that you've been on,
even dietary, Yeah, that you've been really open about.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
That I think has helped a lot of people.

Speaker 5 (29:13):
Yeah. So I used to be vegan, and then during
my pregnancy I experienced a lot of just up and
down when it came to just different levels. So I
introduced chicken back into my diet, and more recently I
had to introduce beef back into my diet just because
I iron iron issues and whatnot. But I'm always open
to talking about that because how I see it, I'm
not the only person going through that. And if you

(29:34):
know me saying, hey, me talking to my doctor about
getting my levels tested was more helpful and things like that,
then girl, let me let me tell you my tea
so you can not have to deal with the bull crup.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
And you got married and had a baby's a blended family,
which was something that you also detailed for people to understand.

Speaker 5 (29:52):
Yeah, because I feel like I feel like us as people,
a lot of us have co parenting situations and blended families,
but are a lot of our elders have normalized the
drama in it. You know, the baby mama and the
wife not supposed to get along. Oh, they're gonna always
trying to be messing around. If he can go mess
with baby mama, he will. And they plant those type
of seeds a lot peo.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
But always say that they'd be like, are he always
guys are always going to mess with their baby mama?

Speaker 3 (30:15):
And that's not true.

Speaker 6 (30:15):
It's not true. It's not true at all.

Speaker 5 (30:17):
I mean, I'm sure unhealthy people that are broken is
not trying to do the work to be you know, healthy, cool,
but overall for us, our baby mama is and that's
what alcohol our baby mama. Hey, Alex, we have a
book together called co Parent Like a Boss where we
talk about the difficulties of what we went through early
on in our family unit and how we were able
to work through it.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
That's amazing that y'all got to this point because it's
so many people that could benefit from reading that book.

Speaker 5 (30:42):
It's a lot of ego in the in the community
when it comes to those conversations like, uh, it's okay
that your mate had a mate before you. It's okay
that your mate had a life before you, and you
not accepting that really kind of goes to show that
you're not really accepting all of them, in my opinion.
And you have another book at also, Yes, it's called
Good Day Goals, Plan and Execution Workbook. That book pulled

(31:03):
me out of postpartum depression, Okay, which is crazy because
I wrote that book is actually five years six years old.

Speaker 6 (31:09):
But in the midst of.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
Me just just being knee deep in depression, just new
in motherhood, trying to figure out my balance professionally and
in my marriage while being a mom while being a
bonus mom while being a daughter.

Speaker 6 (31:21):
I grab one of my books. It's a work book.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
In my chapters, I give you things that I've gone
through personally, and then I give you worksheets to talk
about what you've gone through or talk about some of
your plans and things like that and that. Really it
was cute. It was like younger Randy was helping more
mature Randy.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Well, listen, I love to see. I feel like we
could sit here and talk all day. You have so
much going on your tour right now. How can people
follow you so they can follow your journey.

Speaker 5 (31:44):
Yes, you can follow me at Randy Rosario on all
social media platforms, and you can check out and connect
with me at Randy Rosario dot com. I have my
own tour coming very soon, so we're going to be
announcing that very very soon. But right now you can
catch me on tour with tonight's conversation.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
All right, well, thank you so much, Randy. We got
more with her because ask ye is next. Eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty is a number called
this up any question you have.

Speaker 3 (32:04):
As you can see, she's well equipped to help you
out too.

Speaker 7 (32:07):
It's way Up, I go okay, everybody since whether it's
relationship with Korean advice, Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 4 (32:15):
This is a ste what's up as way up with
Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee and Randy Rosario is here
today to help give some advice, positive advice, positive advice,
helpful advice for asking, but sometimes stern advice. Yes.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Eight hundred two.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
Ninety two fifty one fifty is a number we have
sincere on the line Withceps since here.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
What's going on? I'm a huge fan of yours. I
love your show. But my question is, you know, I
have some friends that we haven't been speaking in a while.
Let me just keep it like my brothers, right, I
have my child siblings, so and it'd be so many
petty things that while we don't talk to each other,
and it's a lot of healing too. But I just
wanted to ask your advice on like what what would

(32:53):
be the greatest way the best way to kind of
like heal and like kind of get together where we're
not all and we can kind of and like get
to the bottom line of things because it's so petty.
It's like petty things like what you know, we was
brought up separately, a lot of anger from my parents
with being drug addicts, and I've been in the household
us being in group homes and conserrations, so we never

(33:15):
had the time to really grow up together. So it's
always like petty bickering, like over a lot of other
personal things that I don't want to really share. But
it's not really bad personal but it's like a lot
of like ego and the I'm the second oldest, so
I try to encourage my brothers, always trying to lead
by example and try to show him love. But it's

(33:36):
always somebody that starts arguing, well, we haven't seen each
other all together, probably over.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Twenty years, so that might be a good story for
you guys to plan to be all together.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
Yeah, everyone's like kind of living in different places. To
one of my brothers in Georgia, the other ones in
the West Coast. I'm in New York. You know, we
can put it together, but you know, it's like we
try on the phone because we be having these conference
schools together, then it just it always goes left.

Speaker 5 (34:04):
It's not like it's a lot of ego in this situation,
but it sounds like y'all have to remind y'allselves that
y'all are family and that y'all love each other, and
that when y'all having these conversations, y'all not trying to
be attackful. Y'all may need to just learn each other's
style of communication and be open to communicating with them
in that way like it's easy for it's easier for
us to say it, But try to be the leader

(34:27):
and teach your siblings how to speak to each other
in ways that's digestible to each other.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
And not have to be right all the time.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
Yeah, sometimes we argue and we're not listening or paying attention.

Speaker 5 (34:36):
Because we're our egos and we're trying to be the
one that you know has the most valid point. I
get that, and that's something I had to genuinely do
some work on, so I definitely understand that. But I
think y'all just have to remember that before anything. Y'all
family and y'all not enemies. When I started taking that
mindset and receiving like, you know, correction and you know,
criticism from people that are in my village that loves me,
like I know, you're not trying to hurt me. The

(34:58):
words that you're giving me is supposed to beneficial to me, so,
you know, just kind of that. And the last thing
that really kind of was a red flag a little
bit was you said that it's always petty things that
might be petty to you, So don't minimize someone else's
feelings or experience. Just because it's not a big deal
to you, doesn't mean it shouldn't be a big deal
to them. But they should be expressing it in a
proper way.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Because a lot of times we can be accusing people
of you always do this. You you know, you never
do this, you say, But instead it's like okay, and
being able to listen and then present your point of view.
But no, it's not a matter of being right or wrong.
It's just how you feel. And maybe it's not intentional,
maybe they didn't intend for you to feel that way,
but Randy's right, like being able to express yourself.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
In a way that leads by example.

Speaker 4 (35:43):
So you're not arguing, you're not going back and forth,
you're not saying, you know, nasty things and also admitting, Okay,
I see your point of view, or maybe I was
wrong when I said this.

Speaker 2 (35:54):
Yeah, I really appreciate that someone like the greatest advice
I got and I have never really just vote on us,
maybe to like some of my family members, close family members,
but I really appreciate it. Angela Yee. I'm like a
youth fan of yours. I love everything you're doing.

Speaker 3 (36:08):
Thank you, all right, take care, thank you for calling.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
All right, Well that was ask ye eight hundred two
nine fifty one fifty just in case you couldn't get through.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
And you know, when we come back, we have.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
Rochelle Richie joining us, and she'll be talking all things
that you need to know about these upcoming elections. What
has been happening in the White House, what are some
things that uh, there's a lot of misinformation and she
is a first hand source, so I'm glad she'll be
joining us.

Speaker 7 (36:33):
It's way up you vib it, way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 3 (36:38):
More now, what's up?

Speaker 4 (36:40):
It's way you put Angela Yee. I'm Angela Gee, and
y'all know I'm always trying to bring you information from
sources who I feel like. Listen, they tell you have
somebody smarter than you in the room in cases where
you don't know everything, and that's why Rochelle Richie is here.

Speaker 3 (36:53):
With me today. Thank you for joining me.

Speaker 5 (36:55):
Thank you, Angela, thank you for having me.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
You're a political strategist, You've worked at the House, you're
a reporter, you do everything, So just let people know
how you identify yourself.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
I identify myself as a political commentator, freelance that.

Speaker 6 (37:09):
Just likes to get the truth out to people.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
I did work for Marilyn Moseby, she was a prosecutor
in Baltimore during the Freddie Gray case.

Speaker 6 (37:15):
I served as a press secretary.

Speaker 5 (37:17):
On the Hill for a House Democrats, and you know,
I've worked as a senior media advisor for congress members
as well. And I just think that it's important that
this election, like you said, it's critical. And I'll admit, Angela,
I was one of those people that I was unsure
who am I voting for?

Speaker 6 (37:35):
And part of.

Speaker 5 (37:35):
It was because and I think a lot of black
people are looking at it like this too. I was
looking at my money and I was saying, under a
Trump presidency, I had a few more dollars.

Speaker 6 (37:45):
On my paycheck.

Speaker 5 (37:47):
But I had to look at the bigger picture and say,
but at what expense does that come? That comes at
the expense of my freedom of choice? That comes at
the expense of possibly being able to go to the
polls and even vote. Because we see what's happening down
in Georgia when people are heading to the polls and
somebody gives them a bottle of water. The fact now
that in Georgia you could be arrested for that is insane.

(38:10):
And so even though I don't live in the state
of Georgia right now, I still have to think about
my people, and I'm not here to tell anybody who
to vote for. I want people to be informed voters,
not emotional. But we as a people also need to
be more clear on what it is that we want,
and I don't think that we've been clear enough.

Speaker 4 (38:30):
I'm talking to political analyst Rochelle Richie, now, what are
some things that we should be asking for or in
your mind, not that you can for everybody, but for
Rochelle Richie, what are some things that you're saying should
be on the table.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
One of the big issues is immigration, right, yes, and
we are constantly hearing about you know Biden is failing
on immigration. Well, the Republicans literally just voted against their
own bill because Trump told them to do so.

Speaker 4 (38:53):
And is that also because They want to make sure
that Democrats don't get credit for passing legislation. They want
to make sure in some of these democratic cities, the mayors,
the governors, and states are looking bad.

Speaker 5 (39:06):
Yeah, it's all a political game because you're from Chicago. Yeah,
so Chicago has its own Yeah, and listen, my cousins
in Chicago are like, they're tired of it. They are
seeing these people coming to their neighborhoods. They're seeing these
people just sitting on buses because obviously it's freezing cold
in Chicago, and they're tired of it. What I want
to see is clear legislation, but I want to make

(39:28):
sure that when it comes to immigration, the concern for
black people is that these people are going to be
taking our jobs. You seeople are getting more money, they're
taking our homes. All of that I want to make fine.
If you want to have this great immigration policy, you
want to open the borders to everybody, cool, but make
sure that the people that built this country on their
backs for free are still first in line. What happens

(39:52):
with us is we get legislation Angela as black people, right,
but we don't follow up to see how has that
legislation been been has it had an impact on the
changes that we need to see. So if we see,
you know, anti police brutality legislation come through, we need
to be monitoring that bill to see is it having

(40:12):
an impact federally or locally.

Speaker 6 (40:14):
Because if not, we need to go back to the
drawing board.

Speaker 5 (40:17):
We cannot be satisfied, which is legislation coming through and
saying it's all good because clearly because clearly it's not,
because we're still having the same issues, and that's because
we don't have follow up.

Speaker 6 (40:29):
We've heard the conversations around reparations.

Speaker 5 (40:32):
Obviously that's been more state focused now than federally. I
think federally, like I don't know if it's even possible,
but I also think that we want to make sure
that our right to vote is obviously protected.

Speaker 6 (40:45):
But women's right to choose, a woman's right to choose.

Speaker 5 (40:47):
All of those things right are what we are sort
of voting for, or really voting for in this election Russia.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
Richie is here with me.

Speaker 4 (40:55):
You know her as a television host. She's a reporter,
she's a writer. She's been on Fox News, MSNBC, Revolt, TV, News, Nation,
now CNN. She also served as a Congressional Press secretary
for the House of Representatives. We have more with her
when we come back, we'll talk about Joe Biden's presidency.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
It's way up with Angela Yee, fabit, way up.

Speaker 7 (41:14):
With Angela Yee more.

Speaker 4 (41:16):
Now what's up is way up with Angela Yee. I'm
Angela Yee and Rochelle Richie. She's a political analyst. She's
also a host. You've seen her on CNN, MSNBC. I'm
Revolt TV. Now let's talk about Joe Biden since he
is running again, and how would you rate his presidency.

Speaker 5 (41:32):
I mean, I'm bored. I can't rate it in a
way with numbers as far as accomplishments, right because I
feel like there's not enough discussion about what has been done.

Speaker 3 (41:42):
Everybody says he hasn't done anything. That's what the rhetoric is.
But I want to be clear that that's not true.

Speaker 5 (41:47):
No, it's not true. He's actually created more jobs. The
unemployment numbers for black people particular has gone down.

Speaker 6 (41:56):
I think that.

Speaker 5 (41:57):
They don't do a better job as selling what they
are I've done, but I think that the Biden administration,
or at least a campaign, has hired I don't know
her name, so forgive me, but I know she's a
black woman. They've hired someone to try to start and
driving that messaging that like two years ago they should
have because I do feel like there's this, Oh, he

(42:17):
hasn't done anything.

Speaker 3 (42:18):
They promised this, it didn't happen.

Speaker 4 (42:20):
But people also, if you understand how the law, the
legal system works, and how legislation gets passed, it's not
just up to the president.

Speaker 5 (42:30):
It's not I actually focus very much so more on
what's being taken away from us and what's being given.

Speaker 6 (42:36):
Okay, So that's how I look at it. So when
I mentioned Roe v.

Speaker 5 (42:39):
Wade, the affirmative action, of the attacks on DI, I'm
looking at what is being taken away from me by
the other party. This election is going to have a
generational impact. This is not going to be just oh,
four years of Trump and will be okay when he
appoints people to the courts. If he has control of
the Senate and the House and the Executive Office, who

(43:00):
knows what's going to come.

Speaker 4 (43:01):
What do you think will energize people to get up
and vote and make sure that they're registered and make
sure that they're informed, and what are ways that that
can happen, because I feel like everyone's trying to figure
that out right now.

Speaker 5 (43:12):
I think people have to look at very simple, like
I said earlier, democracy, dictatorship. What do you get under democracy?
What do you get under dictatorship? It's that simple.

Speaker 4 (43:24):
And last thing I want to ask you when people
say that Joe Biden is too old, right and you
know he's suffering and they feel like he has dementia
and things like that, what are your thoughts about that.

Speaker 5 (43:35):
I saw the press conference that he did and where
he was being asked about his age and remembering something about,
you know, his son's death, and I just I just
found it to be very very sad. I don't think
that his age discredits him.

Speaker 6 (43:49):
I think that.

Speaker 5 (43:50):
Until this man goes off and gives a nuclear code
to somebody, then we all need to calm down.

Speaker 3 (43:56):
