you want to shine a light on somebody today?
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yes, I want to shine a light on my daughter.
Okayyan A Prie is her name, little Kaya. You've been
calling her that final and she's like in her twenty
twenty seven.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
So she's my only baby, and we've had a trying time,
honestly in these past few months, but we're all we
got and I love her and she's doing such great
things with her career. And Mother's Day just passed, so
I'm feeling a little sentimental and I just want to
hopefully she's listening, and I just want to tell her
that I love her and that I'm rooting for her,
and I'm very proud of her, and I can't wait
(02:13):
to see what the future brings for her because she's
a very special person. I honestly believe that my daughter
is the most intelligent person I know.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Oh she's so smart.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
She's been a little baby, Junian since she's been a
little baby, and you had.
Speaker 3 (02:24):
Her very young, so they see the fact that she's
turned out so amazing. That is like the biggest blessing.
I was seventeen when I had her.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
I dropped out of high school in my senior year,
and I was fortunate enough to be able to raise
her to becoming the talented, intelligent woman that she is,
and I put her through college and she's thriving in
her career.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
So I just want to be able to shine a
light on my baby.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
To both of y'all.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Din to do that through that, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
I mean, as we know, I was an exotic entertainer,
and people have always had their opinions on how I
chose to make my money and that I didn't for
my daughter. But in hindsight, you know, looking back on her,
on her life and her growing up, in her experiences,
I'm glad that I didn't hide anything from her because you.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Know things could have won a different up.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
All right, well, thank you so much. Shout out to you, Kanya.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Shout out to Kaya.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
And who do you guys want to shout a light on?
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty Yolanda, who
do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 6 (03:19):
I want to sign the light on my daughter, pucer her.
She graduated Faith second for Pete much pig in the
Middle College program for the associates degree. And on Thursdayshire

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Okay, little genius, we see her.
Speaker 6 (03:35):

Speaker 3 (03:37):
All right, thank you. Shout out to her too. We
appreciate you for calling. All right, Well that was shining
light eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty if
you couldn't get through. And when we come back, I
told y'all, my girl gg maguire is here and she's
got a lot going on. Right. And when I'm talking
about a lot going on, I'm talking about docu series,
I'm talking about production credits. I'm talking about narration. Okay,
we're gonna discuss that when we come back. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
Six in the rooms, from industry shade to all the
gossip out Angela's feeling that.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
What's up its way up at Angela. Yeah, I'm Angela. Ye,
Maino's here had props all the time. Somebody DM me
and they were like, I was trying to call the
shine of light on Mano, but you'll have me on hold.
I don't know who was hating on you.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
A shutout out there?
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
But you know what we love.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
We love the fans of gig and gig you got
a lot going on, so I want to make sure
that people know so we can like highlight this whole
Magic City docuseries.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
So Magic City Docuseries is done. It's a three part documentary.
It's based on the world famous Magic City Strip Club,
which made and paid me for a long time. It's
executive produced by Jermaine Duprie Drake's Dream Crew production company,
as well as Jamie Gertz, who we know as a
(04:57):
former actress who now owns the Atlanta Hawks with her husband.
I was asked, to, of course, interview, but then that
turned into a narration gig, I guess, and then further
on down the line. We now have producer cred I
am in the credits as a consulting producer, So this
is huge for me. The whole Magic City story is
(05:20):
a story of triumph Magic himself.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Michael Barney Senior is his name.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
He is a godfather of sorts to the city of
Atlanta and the strip industry and just you know, with
the whole hip hop, sports, politics and how it all
is intertwined within the city of Atlanta. Magic City is
a landmark and is a house to a lot of
that intersection, if that makes sense. This man has owned
(05:47):
this club for over well almost forty years. He did
a nine year stint in the FEDS for a drug
conspiracy and when he got out of jail, he almost
the club was almost like almost slipped through his fingers
and he was able to save it. That's something that
we don't know that we'll learn in this documentary.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
Oh man, I cannot to see it. Man, I know
you've been to Magic City many times.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Many occasions, many many times.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Well, we're gonna watch all of this and it's a
docu sares So it's three parts, three part docuseries.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
It has been picked up by a major network but
we don't you know, know, yeah, right, we don't know yet.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
There's no she do know, I do. We don't press
release on the way. I'm waiting on the call.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
All right, Well, thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
She's going to be joining us all day and you
can also watch her on Lift Service ten years in counting.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
And when we come back, we have about last night.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
That's where we discussed what we did last night is
yet night?
Speaker 5 (06:38):
So about last night?
Speaker 3 (06:42):
I went down what's up its way up at Angela Yee,
I'm Angela ye Gg maguire is here, hey, mays here
already because I said about last night, I got to
talk about this neighbor I have meanly.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
And not call them.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Yes, wow, So the other day at the house, I mean,
it's just been a nightmare. But I'm wondering, have y'all
ever had any neighbor issues, Like you had somebody that
was harassing you, like, yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
We come knock on my door about the noise and
stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
Was there noise, of course, But I just want to
say for everybody listening, don't be a bad neighbor. Like
if you are being and you know, you being a
a thing a neighbor, be pleasant, say good morning. You
know something happens, I'm the greatest neighbors. Why because I
don't you do nothing nothing. I mean I've had people
(07:33):
doing construction on both sides of me, and I didn't
complain about it. I just, you know, sometimes you just
have to bear with a little bit because it's happening.
What can you just realize, I don't know any of
my neighbors. I've never knocking to go and bring over
some pie or something. Yeah, I don't know my neighbors.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
I mean I wave when I see them, but you know,
I pull up behind my tent and go in my garage,
and you know, I only see the neighbors when I
come outside to check the mail. I don't get too
familiar if then, but I would say, I'm excited about
moving into my new block because I have met some
people on the block already, and everybody else has been
really nice, except for the person right next door.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Is not going to ruin the bunch.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
At all, period. She's got to do an injunction.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
While I was working at my house, they said, no,
I'm like, lady, enough is enough noise?
Speaker 7 (08:16):
What is she like?
Speaker 3 (08:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Misery loves company and she's clearly over I'm coming.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Over there, loud, yeah, come out there, come out there.
All right. Well, that is about last night neighbor issues.
And when we come back, let's talk about this story
that I saw about a young girl that went to
Turks and Caicos and unfortunately she had some ammunition in
her bag and now she is being held and she's
not the only person being held. We'll discuss that when
(08:44):
we come back as well.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
What's up as way.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yegg maguire is here,
Happy Gemini season? Oh gosh, May is here the greatest
And I wanted to talk to you guys about woman
Shrida shanis Grier.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
She got arrested in Turks and Kkos.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
She is the fifth American to be arrested and detained
after being caught with ammunition in an airport.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Of course, you can't bring ammunition.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
But her mom is just hoping that she will be
safe and she's praying for her right now. They said
it was just a mistake. It was two bullets. She
did post bill. But she's now with four other Americans
and a rental property on the island as they're waiting. No,
they can't leave, and they each potentially face after twelve
years in prison, so essentially they have them on house arrest.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
Yeah, in jail.
Speaker 4 (09:41):
But two bullets.
Speaker 8 (09:41):
You probably had that in a bag and mistakenly bought
it through the airport.
Speaker 9 (09:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
And the other people that have been arrested, they had
some straight ammunition that was found in their luggage. They
had no intention of bringing that, but they forgot it
in their bags from prior hunting trips. So it's not
even like an actual weapon assistant ammunition. So they have
to go to CO and they have to argue they
were arrested under exceptional circumstances. I would hate to be arrested,
not just here, but in another country.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
I feel like that's abroad.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
Yeah, yeah, anybody here ever been arrested overseas?
Speaker 7 (10:13):
Never.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
No, I haven't been arrested, but I did get kicked
out of Canada, since that counts. I was fresh off
of probation for five years, but you have to be
ten years removed from probation or parole in order for
them to let you.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
In, and I found out when I was there.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Fortunately I was able to stay because it was only
an overnight trip.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
And I came in on the last flight out.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
But if there was another flight to the States, it
don't matter what state if it was going to a
last but they were going to send me there. So
I'm glad that there were no more flights going out
and I was able to enjoy my not in Montreal.
But my friends had to suffer the consequences with me
when we all had to return to the airport four
hours before I fly. They held my passport and it
even had like a babysitter like watching.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Me in the in the gate area. But damn, what
was you about to do?
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Nothing?
Speaker 3 (10:58):
I haven't been to my trus since.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
All right, boe, come back.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
I have a quick yet story for you guys, and
this is about Donald Trump and a movie about him.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
It's way up about the lid.
Speaker 7 (11:08):
Ab off this but just get it.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
Angela's feeling that yee te come and get the tea.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
What's up his way up with Angela? Yee, I'm Angela, yee.
Speaker 10 (11:17):
My girl.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Gg maguire is here the host with the most and
Mano's here. No, that's like. And let's talk about a
movie that at the Camp Film Festival got a standing
ovation and it's a movie about Donald Trump is called
The Apprentice, and they said one of the scenes in
here actually depicts.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Him raping Avanna Trump.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Wow, And these are allegations that she had personally made.
And after that though it wasn't her book. But then
after that she said that it wasn't true, but it's
still in the movie. So they said, it's a label
that's inspired by true events. It shows him as like
a naive real estate driver, and then he becomes transformed
after that.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
What people don't realize is that spousal rape is real.
I mean, if in fact that did happen. No means no,
and even to your husband, yes, break.
Speaker 3 (12:04):
They think that if you're married, you're like obligated to
do certain things and you're not. If somebody's like no,
I don't feel like it, you have to abide by that.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
I don't think that's something that's talked about enough. Right,
So you know, like I said, this did get a
standing ovation. I'm sure at some point soon we're going
to see it. But yeah, that was an account that
was recorded in her deposition for their divorce back in
nineteen ninety. All Right, well, when we come back, we
have under the radar These are stories that are not
necessarily in the headlines.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
They are flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (12:34):
It's way up.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
Take the news. News, This in the news that relates
to you. These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
What's up?
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Its way up at Angela yee, I'm Angela yee. Meinos here. TJ.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
MacGuire's here hello, and let's do under the radar.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
Now here's a good story that I didn't see people
talking about. A billionaire gave graduating students that you mess
dartmouth envelopes of cash, totally one thousand dollars. That's twelve
hundred students and they each got a thout dollars cash.
Speaker 4 (13:01):
Dope.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yeah, can you imagine. I'm thinking about when I graduated,
I had zero I had a lot of debt. I
signed up for all the credit cards I could on
campus and the limit was six hundred dollars and I ran.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Them all up.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
And couldn't pay them. But Robert Hill Junior, who's the
CEO of Granted Telecommunications, made the announcement during the school's commencement.
But here is the catch. They got five hundred dollars
for themselves. The other five hundred they were supposed to
give to somebody else or another organization who could use
it more than you.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
How many of those kids? Yeah, or a person that
maybe a.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
Couple of them was like, man, I'm keeping this old.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Yeah, I'm sure a lot of them kept it, especially
if it was cash, Like you know, if I gave
it away or not.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
Yeah, you don't know. I'd have been like, Giji, here's
five unte of for you. Now you give me five hundred.
Pe both need it, right, So we still we still
have still got our bands. Listen, cuz on some real
like they all needed. They just graduated from college all
the amount of money, you know. And it's interesting because
right now people are graduating and we're getting to see
all of the commencement speakers. So you know, Angela Bassett
(14:05):
did y'all see she spoke. Can you imagine being in
college and Angela Bassett speaks at your school. She gave
this Spellman address, So shout out to her for that,
you know, and shout out to Spelman, my niece. So
Maya goes to Spelman, my goddaughter goes there, and she'll
be spending this summer at my house. Nice. Yeah, she's
got a great internship. Nia I have two god daughters
shout out to you Nia. All right, well when we
(14:26):
come back, you know we got the way it mixed.
At the top of the hour. Plus, we have two
special guests joining us, and that is lamar Odom and
Zach Hurst. They have the Keeping Up with Sports podcasts
that's going to be launching in a couple of weeks,
so we'll be discussing that with them.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
She's like the like they Angela Jean like they Angela
Jean Man.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
She's spilling it all.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
This is yet, well, what's up? Its way up at
Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee. Mainos here, Hey Ggi's here.
It's Gemini season, okay, and she is too hype. Listen,
you know what I told you I want to do.
I'm gonna take you.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
To a Broadway play my first time ever.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
You're let me see. We could go see Hell's Kitchen.
That's Alicia Keyser's play. MJ. The musical is on Broadway.
I went to go see The Lion King a couple
of times. I went to go see Wicked. I'm going again.
We're going to see Home and we're taking some listeners
actually out to eat and.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
Then going to see Home.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
But what I didn't know is that Michelle Williams is
also starring in a Broadway play and it's called Death
Becomes Her and she sounds amazing from this clip that
I saw online here it is a.
Speaker 11 (15:32):
Little touch of magic in a world I'm shessed with
science for those who pay the pride? What would you
shud brob for face?
Speaker 3 (15:48):
All right?
Speaker 1 (15:49):
So look there you have it. We going to Broadway.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Baby, I can't wait. There's so many great plays. And
when I tell you, that's like the perfect man. Know
you ever been to a play I've been to? That's
it the only one. Yeah, I feel like that's a
great deed.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Maybe maybe like in February, did you enjoy it? Super dope?
Speaker 3 (16:06):
All right?
Speaker 4 (16:06):
I had fun. Man, they brought me backstage, let me
meet the cash.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Oh you did? That's so cute experience with Okay, never mind,
never mind.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
I was just asking.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
I don't know if you took your daughter. You know
what I'm saying. It is a good date night, though,
I feel like you'd be going a lot more. All
all right, but when we come back, we have asked
yee eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty
is a number any question.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
That you have, We're here to help. It's way up, whether.
Speaker 5 (16:34):
It's relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts Sho.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
You should know this is ask Ye what's up? His
way up?
Speaker 3 (16:41):
But Angela Yee. I'm Angela Yee with the award winning
advice giver Maino what it is and it's time for
you guys to ask whatever question you want for ask
Ye eight hundred two nine fifty one fifty. Today's color
is anonymous. What's good? Angela? I'm good? What's your question
for me? And Maino?
Speaker 12 (16:59):
I wanted to know how I can hang out with
the other girls with my girlfriend around and like just
let her know that I'm not gonna like be blurting
with them.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
You know, do you have other women around?
Speaker 13 (17:12):
Oh no, I don't. It's just me and my girlfriend.
I want to be completely honest and like truthful.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
You know, well, she has to meet them if they're
your friends, Like if you want to be friends with
these women, she has to feel comfortable if they call you.
If somebody calls you on the phone, it shouldn't be
after a certain time at night, but you should be
able to answer the phone in front of her, say
whatever she should. Also, if that's your girl, be able
to have some type of if there's somebody that she's
(17:36):
cool with, two that they can have a friendship also.
But the only way you're going to be able to
accomplish this is if she knows who they are, so
that there's no sneaking around having female friends. But your
girl has no idea what's going on. You have to
also make sure that you set clear boundaries so these
women know I can't call you late at night. I'm
not gonna be blowing you up. You know, no type
(17:57):
of flirtation are any of these women you're friends with
people that you formerly dealt with either, No, I do not.
Speaker 13 (18:03):
It's just been me and my girlfriend.
Speaker 12 (18:05):
It's been like a problem for about a month, and
I just don't know how to deal with it.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
So she has an issue with you having female friends,
Like what happened?
Speaker 12 (18:13):
Yeah, So like if I'm like at my church right,
if I'm like hang out.
Speaker 13 (18:18):
With like a group of friends and there's.
Speaker 12 (18:20):
A couple of girls, and I should just have a
commem and be like, yo, you're sneaking around me.
Speaker 8 (18:24):
Like like I don't know, jealous I'm not honest jealous girlfriend.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
Have you lied in the.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
Past, No, not not like yes or no.
Speaker 10 (18:37):
No.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
You sound a little uncertain right now.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
A story.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
Well, listen, everything is a process. You guys have been
together for a year, and she's not used to this.
This is something that now you want to bring into this.
So sometimes it's hard when things didn't start that way
and then now you're trying to introduce this. You know,
because if you're really friends with these women, she should
have been met them and known about them.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
Does your girlfriend like women?
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Oh my god, don't try that's nice thing, all right,
that's nothing. They're not doing it.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
But yeah, I just I just feel like.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
It's a matter of being open and honest, making sure
that there's clare boundary set, making sure that when you're
around other women that your girlfriend is there also so
that she doesn't feel awkward. And then just make sure
if there are valid reasons that she feels away, don't
make her feel like she's crazy for that. Just understand
what it is and where she's coming from, and figure
out what it is that you need to do for
(19:31):
her to be more comfortable.
Speaker 13 (19:33):
Wow, man, I really appreciate you. Angel. Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
All right, you're welcome, good luck. Thank you made us
say have a threesome. It's always the advice. All right,
Well that was ask ye eight hundred and two nine
two fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get through.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
And when we come back, we have Zach Hirst and
lamar odom.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
They also have Caitlyn Jenner on this podcast, but she
didn't make it in time, but we'll be discussing their
new podcast, Keeping Up with Sports.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
It's way up, going to turn me up here.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
We go up again.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
This is Way Up with Angela ye.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
What's up his Way Up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
I'm Angela Yee and I'm joined by my host Mano
and my guest co host TJ. Maguire. Hello, all right,
and today we're talking about keeping up with sports podcasts.
We have Zach Hirsch here and lamar Odo. What's some guys,
So you guys recorded already a few episodes, right, that's
in the can. And so we've been hearing some rumblings
(20:27):
about who's going to be featured, so we do know
some of the people that will be on Who's who's
going to be on the podcast?
Speaker 7 (20:32):
Oh sugar, Rayad Ambrose.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
To go with the ballhead. We have some so it's
not just no as far as coming together because Kaitlyn
Jenner is also one of the hosts on the podcast.
To Lamar, we know you know Caitlin, But Zach, did
you know Caitlin prior.
Speaker 9 (20:53):
To I didn't know. I didn't know Lamar or Caitlyn.
But no, not at all. It's an honor to be
with two legends.
Speaker 3 (21:00):
One of the podcasts is The Humanized People, right and
talk about the more human side of things.
Speaker 7 (21:04):
Yeah, it's definitely not the bad or put down or
anything like that. We've been getting a good response. I
think most of our interview has been like therapeutic.
Speaker 8 (21:11):
That's different though, because now we're in the age of
everything and everybody want to go viral.
Speaker 9 (21:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (21:16):
I think the only like only clickbait that I show
is probably just the name.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Okay, I would think, you know what, I'm Kardashian.
Speaker 7 (21:23):
Yeah, to make people right, you know, look real quick
and they know what mean.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Everybody trying to go for these sound bites.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
What you're resistant to that title, like you said, because
it is kind of clickbait.
Speaker 7 (21:33):
Yeah, at first, I was like, well, you know why
they choose that, but then you know, think about it.
You know, me and brutes, I mean me and Kaitlin
on it.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
You know, why not Zach Hirst and Lamar Odom are
here talking about keeping up with sports. You know, Lamar,
we know you have a lot of other ventures outside
of this too, And I see you've been getting into
a lot of different entrepreneurial spaces, right and I so
you did open up a facility also for people who
have struggled with addiction.
Speaker 7 (21:56):
Yeah, I'm trying to right now, trying to open up
my own drug we have that's need my heart to
help people that can't help them show.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
I think that would be a phenomenal thing to do,
just because of the journey that you've been on to
be able to say, Okay, I want to help somebody else,
and who better than somebody that knows what that struggle
has been like.
Speaker 7 (22:13):
Yeah, I definitely know what that struggle has been like.
I don't get high no more. I'm proud to say
that the last time I got high twenty fifteen since
that accident, that.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
Right, you know what I mean, it's nine years. That's
a big deal.
Speaker 7 (22:26):
Yes, I don't even count the time, but I just
leave it to Guard and Zach.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
We know that you've been in this space of podcasting
and sports. Talk to me about how you guys actually
did come together. Somebody put you all together, right?
Speaker 7 (22:37):
Yeah? Yeah. A friend of mine's name, Steve m'connell, came
up with this idea. I was with it.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
I want to also ask you how personal are you
guys going to get on this podcast? Because sometimes when
you're sitting there and you said it's like therapy, but
is it like therapy for both of you as well
to be able to talk about things in your own
personal lives.
Speaker 7 (22:56):
I mean, it's always therapy for me to talk about
what I've been through. A lot of the things I've
been through people don't even know.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
And when we learned some of this, how is it
for you being able to open up? I know, like
you did say, it's therapeutic, but sometimes it has to
be annoying to be us.
Speaker 7 (23:11):
The same thing over and over.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
The same thing over and over again.
Speaker 7 (23:14):
Probably some of the Chloe questions, but you probably that
I'm an open book.
Speaker 8 (23:20):
I don't think enough is said about you bouncing back,
though they understand because all men we fall in fact
and were susceptible to a lot of things, you know
what I mean. We're caught up in a lot of
our own vices and our own demons.
Speaker 4 (23:31):
Right, but you're bounce back. I don't think a lot
is spoken about when it comes to that.
Speaker 7 (23:36):
Good looking bro, our respect that I love.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
All Right. We have Zach Hurst and lamar Odom in
the building. Keeping Up of Sports is their podcast. The
first episode drops in two weeks. We have more with
them when we come back. It's way up.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
Yeah, you don't want to know my name?
Speaker 4 (23:49):
Way with Angelay?
Speaker 3 (23:53):
What's up this?
Speaker 1 (23:54):
Way up with Angela? Yee, I'm Angela.
Speaker 9 (23:56):
Ye.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
DJ Maguire is here, Mana is here, and guess who
else is here?
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Lamar Odom and Zach Hurst to talk about their new podcast,
Keeping Up with Sports. I also want to talk about
boxing with you guys, because we're getting ready for Mike
Tyson and Jake Paul and I know you're cool with.
Speaker 14 (24:09):
You Yeah, got yeah, yeah, whatever. What's your prediction for
that Jake Paul knockout? Jake Paul knockout? That it's the
onliest clause in there. Mike can't knock him out?
Speaker 10 (24:26):
Is that pro?
Speaker 9 (24:27):
It's a Profiles sanctioned by the Texas Athletic Commission, No
holds barred. They're using a little bit bigger gloves fourteen ounces,
but no head hear, nothing like that.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
It's pro It's going on Mike's record forever.
Speaker 7 (24:37):
If Mike them.
Speaker 9 (24:43):
I got ready, get ready?
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Okay, what do you think it's going to happen. I'm
not asking what you want to happen.
Speaker 7 (24:53):
I know Mike gonna have problems with him. This dude
is in his prime, his athletic career, even he don't
got to be a boxer. You know, Mike probably gonna
get tired.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
And Lamar, you talk about all the money that you've
gone through, you know, in your lifetime up to this point.
So how are you moving differently now? And what are
some lessons that you've learned.
Speaker 7 (25:12):
I'll pay my own bills.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
Ooh you know, Okay, that's a big one.
Speaker 7 (25:15):
Yeah. Before it was you know, accountans and me not
really just watching my.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
Money, no checking my accounts and other people.
Speaker 7 (25:23):
Yeah, I can't trust some people.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Trust other people with your money. Let me tell you
my accountant. They can't see my account, but they can't
move things around. Zach Hirst and Lamar odom are here
talking about Keeping Up with Sports. How do you feel about,
you know, doing maybe another television show. Is that something
you will be interested in.
Speaker 7 (25:41):
Like a reality show? Like if I get enough things
popping and it's be easy to tell a story or
follow the story then and they come with a nice check,
nice situation. Yeah for me and my kids.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
And now how is the relationship with the kids? Your
kids are?
Speaker 3 (25:55):
How old?
Speaker 12 (25:56):
Now?
Speaker 7 (25:56):
Twenty five? My daughter's twenty five. And it's funny too.
I mean it's getting better every day. But I think
my son is my son is my best friend. My daughters,
like you know, sometimes showed me love. Sometimes she don't
want hug me. My daughter is just like that.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
She eleven eleven, give me a hug, baby, No, you're
a hundred.
Speaker 7 (26:16):
It's kind of great. I love them. I love that
they with me.
Speaker 3 (26:20):
Okay, good, I'm glad to see that too. The podcast
is Keeping Up with Sports is coming out second week
of June, first week of dream. Okay, first June. We
can look for the first episode. And on the premiere episode.
Speaker 7 (26:31):

that Sugar ray one places, you.
Speaker 4 (26:37):

Speaker 7 (26:41):
Touched by one of his trainers.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
I don't never think, oh wow, you.
Speaker 7 (26:44):
Never think nobody you know what I mean? That's not
nice with their hands.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Yeah, and it's something that's hard for people to come
out and say and admit.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (26:53):

must have been feel really comfortable to be able to
really talk about that again a therapy session. All right, well,
