Speaker 4 (00:29):
Do it right exactly, so hilarious.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
You know what you're doing. T. K. Kirklin. He always
brings flowers to so I got my flowers today and
we do have it is above Wednesday, so we talk
about financial empowerment. So today we're going to have Lynette Cafanika.
She's a financial expert talking about student loans. There's been
a lot happening as far as student loans with this administration,
(00:55):
with things being blocked, so she'll be joining us today.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
Very good to know because everybody's confused on it, like me.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, well listen, We're going to tell you where you
can get information from from the actual government, because I
think that's important. That's important, right where you need to
go to see how you can qualify to maybe perhaps
not have to pay your student loans because a lot
of people are getting their student loan debt erased. I know,
I'm looking at a Navy on the boards. It's been
a conversation up here between Dan and it's a big deal.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
A lot of people don't know where to go.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Yeah, and a lot of people want to get their
student loan debt, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
And that's because you had a student loan that automatically
do but you have to actually sound up and qualified
to get it.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
There's federal loans, there's private loans. There's all different types
of rules. But we'll talk about it today. And of course,
let's shine a light. Eight hundred and two ninety two
fifty one fifty is a number. Who do you want
to spread some love? To call us up? It's way up.
Speaker 6 (01:45):
Spread the lights on, y'all, spreading love to those who
are doing greatness. It's time to shine a light on.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
All right, it's way up. I'm mantel ye with my
guest house, Tea Kirkland. That's right, T to the MFK.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Do you know what that means?
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Yes? I know what that means?
Speaker 7 (02:06):
No? Do you know?
Speaker 5 (02:07):
So let me break it down to the people just listening. T. K.
Kirkland is the philosopher. T to the MFK is my philosophy.
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Okay, just in case she didn't know. Well, let's shine
the lights on a fifteen year old prodigy, Shila Brown
from McKinney, Texas. She has made history. Do you play golf?
Speaker 4 (02:26):
I drive the cart?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Okay, I can see that.
Speaker 8 (02:29):
Well.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
She is the youngest African American junior golf champion.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
And she's going to be competing in the prestigious Southwest
Airline Showcase at Cedar Crest. She started golfing at eight
because her parents were avid golfers. They love golf. And
now she is the top ranked African American junior golfer,
showcasing her skills at the Southwest Airline Showcase and she'll
be among the nation's top amateurs. Fifteen years old.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Man, that's amazing. Shout out to her. Shout out to her. Yes,
I can never get into this golfing.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
You know, you should try it. Have you tried it?
Speaker 4 (03:01):
I tried it? But is it about jer Bet jer Bett?
That was that'st time. I was like nineteen ninety three,
ninety four.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, maybe you need to go back again. Yeah, it's
supposed to be very relaxing, you know.
Speaker 9 (03:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
I think when we went it was hot.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
I think it was it was hot, But shout out
to Shilah Brown again. Now, who do you guys want
to shine a light on? Eight hundred two nine fifty
fifty Who do you want to shine a light on?
Speaker 10 (03:26):
I just wanted to sign a light on Aburn. Her
name is Asia Taylor. She passed away a couple of
weeks ago, so I just want to shine a light
on her. She was just a great neighbor, always giving
womanly advice, motherly advice. She actually was taking care of
her too mentally disabled brothers. And she was twenty so
(03:48):
she was just a stand up woman, a real woman.
She's really going to be missed. She had a lot
of family that loved her. I really just wanted to
just give a you know, shine a light on her.
You know, it's unfortunate she's not here, but you know
she still needs to be shined you know.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
So Agia Taylor. She sounds like an amazing, beautiful person.
So shout out to her family, to you, to all
her friends. All right, thank you so much for calling.
Speaker 10 (04:14):
That was thank you podcast.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
That's how we should all want to be remembered to.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
Just like that.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
All right, Well that was Shina Light eight hundred two
ninety two fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through,
you could leave a message for the last word. And
when we come back, we have your yea tea. Kanye West,
is he retiring? We'll give you some updates. Yeah, it's
weird show.
Speaker 11 (04:33):
She's about to blow the lid abof this.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
But let's get it.
Speaker 11 (04:35):
Oh angels feeling that yee te Come and get the tea.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
All right, it's way up. I'm here and TK Kirkland,
Hey today, Yes, sare you ready to do some yete?
I know you're gonna love this.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Let's wake it up, all right.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
So people were saying that Kanye was retiring. I saw
that trend in yesterday. Rich the Kid posted some text
message between them where Yeah Where Yay said I'm retiring
from professional music. Not sure what else to do? And
he said retire?
Speaker 6 (05:01):
Why?
Speaker 2 (05:01):
How the people need you? The music you and Tie
we had made was the biggest stamp in culture to
this date. In twenty twenty four, he's talking about Ti
Dallas Sime. Well, it looks like all of this was
for him to promote his new project. His album is
called Life's a Gamble. He shared the track list and
updated release date for the project.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
So that was so he didn't retire, No, he did not.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
It was definitely he is clever ploy But this is
Rich the Kids album, so okay. Yeah, but Kanye West
is actually on the album too, so he's done a
couple of songs on the album of them all these
fake retirement things.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Yeah, it's crazy everybody doing the Michael Jordan's.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
All right now, E forty does not like to Well,
he's not amused by somebody mistaking him for someone else.
An unidentified person approached him with the camera and started
talking to him. And you know the problem is that
people try to get funny when they approach you with cameras.
And here's what happened, Batjo bro.
Speaker 11 (05:58):
No, oh snap, fat joke, challeh right, challenge the moment.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
I mean, how you're gonna go up to forty and
call him fat Joe.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
That's hilarious.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
But Forty was not amused because it's also kind of like,
you come up to me with a camera in my face,
right right to me.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
Once what happened the guy, I don't know who he was, like,
he was real popping doing that.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
But two years ago and he walked and he was
calling me somebody else, but I'm always so serious.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Yep, it didn't affect me.
Speaker 5 (06:34):
I just watched him like in awe, Like, who is
that crazy to come up and do stuff like that
to people?
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Yeah, because people do get knocked out.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
Oh people don't some people don't. You know what?
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Tell you he did him somebody up for trying to
play with him? Yes, all right, now, Porscha and Simon,
the two of them, boy, with this divorce that is
going on, that's gonna eventually have to happen.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
And they wasn't married long, right, not at all.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
You know, and they've been this has been absolutely ridiculous.
But now she posted some things she put hashtag men's
health awareness. Things you can do to help with that
rectile dysfunction. Lose weight if you're overweight, stop smoking, eat
a healthy diet, exercise daily, and try to reduce stress
and anxiety. Then she also posted how does a man
feel when he has ed? And she put anger, frustration, sadness,
(07:21):
or lack confidence. So, because clearly she was posting this
as a dig at her ex Simon, he now is
saying that she needs to lawyer up, and so you know,
according to him, he's like, this is like defamation right, yes,
but you know a hit dog will holla yeah because
she ain't say his name or nothing.
Speaker 5 (07:42):
That's true too. But everybody, you know, good attorney's gonna
eat that up. Yeah, but oh yeah, good turn, eat
that up.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Like she didn't say you. She was just trying to
do's health awareness.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Yeah, but a good turn. You're gonna get it. A
good attorney gonna get it.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
And all the women that when you get mad at
your man, stop saying they got erectile. This funks right
or it was little, it was little, yeah, broke right
or he broke all right, Well stop that.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Well that is your Yet when we come back, we
have about last night. That's where we discussed what we
did last night. I know you've had a busy day
and you have a lot coming up, so we'll talk
about it. It's way up.
Speaker 11 (08:13):
I went down.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
It's way up a mangela yea, and TK Kirkling is here,
Yes I am, and this is about last night. What
did you do last night?
Speaker 4 (08:22):
I went to bed at seven thirty, you did. I
was in bed. I went to get something to eat.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Sounds jet last and I had.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
Some salmon and some ice cream later because I was at.
I was at Houston for like three hours.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
I got there that. Yeah, I go to the one in.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Hackensack, oh Okay in Jersey and Jersey, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
At the mall.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
So I really had a nice time shat there, did
some work eight. I was sleep by seven thirty and
I got up at three.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
That's why you normally go to bed at seven thirty. Well,
you have shows a lot, so you can't.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
Yeah, I don't, but I try to get because I
get up so early in the morning and I usually
have like a fourteen hour day, and that's fourteen I
really got to lay down.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
Well, last night I was up late because guess what,
my basement flooded and you know, I've been going through
this whole process of I.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
Know you was mad.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yes, I was very mad. So fortunately I went down
there to catch it. So I went downstairs because I
have a dehumidifier in my basements. I'm always like dumping
out the weather and so I get down there. As
soon as I start walking on the steps as stinks,
I'm like, what is that smell?
Speaker 4 (09:22):
Right?
Speaker 2 (09:22):
And then I go down there and the floor is
all wet, and so I have to throw away this
rug that's down there and apparently somebody did something wrong.
They covered the trap. I'm learning a lot about plumbing, yes,
at Electrical learn, but apparently somebody covered the trap and
they weren't supposed to do that, so that happened, and
so we had to have somebody come and snake out
(09:44):
whatever it was. It was just a long prime.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Do you do mental classes and teach and all that stuff. No, No, ladies,
I've known you that with a ten twelve years and
I seen this young lady just just some amazing things,
and I just just I mean, I admire you so much.
Right that you are really doing You should really have
(10:07):
that to show people what they're capable of doing, because
I think you're amazed other than being one of the
funniest people I know in the world.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
And listen, and you know, with this housing stuff, this
real estate stuff, I'm also listing one of my best
friends she bought a new house. I'm going to be
listing her old house that she's about to sell, so
I was dealing with that yesterday too.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Also, so you're kind of like an agent too.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Yeah, I am. I have my real estate license.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
Okay, so you get it. You just got money. Come
listen to me.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
It's a lot of work, though y'all think it's just radio.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
This woman.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
And then the last thing I want to shout out
to which I'm really excited about, is my coffee shop.
We officially got our liquor license, right, I remember at
the coffee shop yesterday. So now the next project for
me is working to build out that space and make
sure that we have amazing mixologists and a great experience.
Nothing like espresso Martini.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Yes, but I come there and get an espresso.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Yes, you can get a regular espresso.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
But now you do I have to do I have
to pay? No, I will pay that.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
I know you will. Let me tell you something. The
t K would not come and not pay like he
would in disrespect. Yeah, but you definitely would not have to.
So I'm excited to look forward to some new things
that are going to be coming our way. And when
we come back, tell us a secret, now, t K.
I don't know if you've ever seen these, but people
call in, they get to stay anonymous and we do
not judge them. But they're gonna tell us.
Speaker 8 (11:30):
T K.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
The whole point is they're gonna tell us a secret
so that they can get it out there. With no judgment. Okay,
think about the things you've done. I haven't done nothing exactly.
You don't want to be judged. Okay, they're gonna come
out here and just tell their secrets. We don't even
know their names.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
I'm just doing it.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Might be something that happened thirty years Okay.
Speaker 4 (11:49):
I respect that, you know.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
And now they're like, I did this.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
I won't judge something, not me. We did it together,
and I'm like right now teasing, Yeah, well.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
That could happen, all right. Eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty. Call us up, tell us a secret. Again,
that's eight hundred two nine two fifty one feet fifty
one fifty. You have a secret about TK, call us up.
Speaker 12 (12:12):
Way up.
Speaker 11 (12:14):
This is a judgment free zone.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Tell us a secret, tell us a secret. What's up?
Its way up? I'm here. T. K. Kirkland is here.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Yes, I am here.
Speaker 13 (12:22):
Now.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
You said you're going to be judgmental, but you cannot, okay,
because this is when people calling anonymously, we don't judge
them and they tell us a secret.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
All right, I will try my best.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Just think about things you've done and that should help.
All right.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
I can't remember them too.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Eight hundred fifty one fifty anonymous color, what's your secret?
Speaker 3 (12:40):
I use cough drops to cheat a fraternity test.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
A collet drop, yeah, is so close to fat.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
It cheated the test and the.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Pat So when you say pass as in you're not
the father, or passes in you.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
Are the father?
Speaker 3 (12:57):
And then I was excluded on.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
Right and and you used what a game? Explain it?
Speaker 3 (13:03):
A cough drop, pig fat cough drop quote to like
a human breakdown or whatever.
Speaker 4 (13:09):
Okay, how and how did you know that studying?
Speaker 11 (13:12):
Wow?
Speaker 4 (13:13):
That's and what kind of and what kind of cough drop? K?
Speaker 2 (13:17):
This is too much?
Speaker 11 (13:18):
No, no, this is important.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
This is right here, is gonna save live?
Speaker 11 (13:23):
Go ahead, go.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Ahead, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Halls halls, halls, men, stop writing stuff down.
Speaker 11 (13:31):
To the homies.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Are you listening?
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Did you ever feel bad about it because you have
a kid out there?
Speaker 3 (13:40):
No, it was, and I feel like to beat it
to make sure I was okay?
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Did she ever find out who your father was? Maybe
it really wasn't yours?
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Nope.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Yeah, that's interesting.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Yes, I'm about to be a superstar. You're not in
his life?
Speaker 4 (13:58):
Were told me something? I want to know that you're
the father the superstar or just going about your life.
I'm going without my life.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
And one last thing, don't ever do twenty three and me,
they gonna find you. Okay, all right, I guess thanks
for calling.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Angela is so sweet for people she don't know.
Speaker 5 (14:15):
She don't even know the baby mama, but she's like, okay,
thanks for calling anyway.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Even though you're not the father.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
He might be. You never found out who it wasn't him?
Hey on him as color?
Speaker 14 (14:25):
How are you?
Speaker 13 (14:26):
Hey?
Speaker 15 (14:26):
How you doing?
Speaker 13 (14:27):
I'm doing good?
Speaker 4 (14:28):
Good?
Speaker 2 (14:28):
You want to tell me a tk a secret?
Speaker 7 (14:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (14:31):
My secret is I'm sleeping with my man's best friend
and I don't know how to feel about it.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Oh, you're sleeping with your man's best friend, but you
don't know how to feel about it.
Speaker 14 (14:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 13 (14:39):
I don't know how to tell him, and I don't
know how to feel about it.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
I feel like kind of betraying.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
And I'm like, you do you want to stay with
your man?
Speaker 13 (14:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (14:47):
I do want to put him, but I just don't
know how to break it to him.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Why are you gonna tell him?
Speaker 11 (14:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Why are you gonna tell him?
Speaker 13 (14:53):
Because I feel bad about it.
Speaker 15 (14:54):
I'm just the ones person like I.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Don't lie, you know, I'm an honest person. Sleeping with
my man?
Speaker 4 (15:00):
Yeah, like that's confusing.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
Yeah, you know what though, you think he's gonna tell him?
Is that what you think it is?
Speaker 15 (15:06):
I feel like his friend's like in love with me
and I'm not in love with him, so he's not
gonna say.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
I want to say something to you. You ready?
Speaker 5 (15:14):
Yeah, you cannot be messy love. You sound like you
put in a bad position. And men when they find
out that they girl cheated with their best friend. If
it was a stranger, it's still gonna hurt, but when
it's with his best friend or friend, it hurts more.
So my point that I'm saying, with the way the
world is today, I'll take that to my grave because
(15:35):
you don't know if it's gonna make him snap and
he wind up hurting.
Speaker 4 (15:39):
You and his best friend.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
You know that Her concern is that the best friend's
gonna tell because he's in love.
Speaker 5 (15:43):
She said she don't think he's going to tell and
stop sleeping because didn't you sleep with him last night?
Speaker 14 (15:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (15:49):
Yeah, you see what I'm saying. Yes, you're just still
feeling bad right now.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
You like the best friend?
Speaker 15 (15:55):
Yeah, I like him like, gentlemen, he more like you
want to get to know me more, you want to
all my flugs, and the dude I'm with it just
like he just real angry and mad and don't even
nothing I got to say, And I just feel like
it's not for me.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Now, Oh, well, you're about to break up anyway, break
up with the main guy and just keep your other
relationship low key for a while and then just circle
back around that you're met somewhere like a year or
two years down the line and y'all getting together.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
But here's the play.
Speaker 5 (16:25):
The new guy that you having sex with can leave
you too, So both of them might leave you, cause
men that you.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
Don't do do that.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Just you a all right, Well, thank you for calling
and TK, thank you for normalizing this.
Speaker 4 (16:39):
Yeah, yeah, I love this girl.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
I can tell you got some secrets.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
TK oh, I love listen, I love Angela. I love Angela.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Y Well, that was tell us a secret. Eight hundred
fifty fifty. You can always leave a message for last
word in case you couldn't get through. And when we
come back, we have your ye. We'll talk about an
actress who was up. She had eighteen million dollars in savings,
but then had a medical situation and lost all of it.
We'll tell you what she said happened as well, they
(17:11):
say in the rooms.
Speaker 6 (17:13):
From Industry Shade to all of gos Angelas spilling a.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah, it's way up. I'm here, TK Kirklin is here.
They not like us?
Speaker 16 (17:24):
Yo.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Did you see that fake video where they were at
Disneyland and the characters would dancing to not like Us?
Speaker 12 (17:30):
No?
Speaker 2 (17:30):
No, no, yeah, this song is just okay. Anyway, let's
get into some yet the Devil Wears product. I'm start
with that because you were so excited. Yes, there is
a sequel in the works at Disney, and they're saying
the screenwriter who originally wrote the first one is in
talks to return, and people are speculating on what this
is gonna be about. But according to reports, Meryl Streep
(17:53):
is going to be returning for her role as Miranda Priestley,
and she's gonna have the downfall of the magazine because
you know, the publishing industry is tough, and she's going
to need to get Anne Hathaway's character who's working at
an advertising agency and needs desperately to get that money.
So supposedly, allegedly that's what it's going to be about.
But you know, we shall see right all right now,
(18:14):
Sharon stone I did an interview recently with The Hollywood
Reporter and talked about how when she suffered a stroke
in two thousand and one, she had zero money after that,
so think about her like this. She had eighteen million
dollars in savings well after that near death stroke. She said,
people took advantage of me over that time. She said,
my refrigerator, my phone, everything was in other people's names.
(18:37):
When I got back into my bank account, it was
all gone. She had a nine day brain bleed and
she had a one percent chance of survival at that time.
If you remember, Wow, you know what was happening. And
she said, you know, doctors thought she was faking it
and nearly sent her home before reevaluating her and sending
her into brain surgery. Is that wild?
Speaker 4 (18:55):
Imagine that?
Speaker 2 (18:57):
And then after that she stepped away from acting for
two years. But yeah, I mean she lost.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
Everything and she was good, Yeah, she was real good.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
She's had some phenomenal roles that will never ever forget.
So shout out to her, all right. The Conjuring the
finale is dated for a fall twenty twenty five at
Warner Brothers. And I'm excited for that because you know,
The Conjuring is one of my favorite series. I love
horror movies, and so the finale is going to be
fall of next year. They're saying September fifth, twenty twenty five.
(19:31):
This is going to be the last one. So excited.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
Those the scary movies, and you can go see the
previews that get you where they always snatch somebody at
the end, they snatch.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Them and then it's or somebody's like screaming and then
it cuts off. Yeah, you got to it's a scary movie,
all right. Andre three thousand, you know he is on
the shop and also Naj just investors on that episode
and he'll be up here tomorrow. But he talked about
Pimse being really mad at him after submitting his verse
for International Anthem. What you hear right now, and here's
(20:02):
what he had to say about it.
Speaker 17 (20:03):
They sent the beat and I took the beat out
for me to wrap. When I sent it back to them,
like man's man got me able to take my beat
out like Bond somebody. They were like, now, but you
understand when that beat dropped though it set it off,
so it's almost like a setup and for you, that's
for him. So it worked and once he got them,
(20:23):
was like, okay, and here's what.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
That sounds like. Oh no, okay, all right, well anyway, yes,
so shout out to him for that. That's gonna be
a good episode. Sexy Red is on the shop on
that episode. Andre th thousand, Jerry Lorenzo who found a
fair of God, and of course now just selvester and
uh act just comedian. I don't want to say this name,
ron g Ying Summers. Okay, all right, it's a hurt.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
But you know when I got when Andre came back.
Speaker 5 (20:48):
You know, for years, I've always been a fan of
I known for a long time he's to tour with them.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
Shout out to the cass back of the day.
Speaker 5 (20:55):
And so when he stepped away from wrapping and they
said Andre's giving a drop.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
For album, I said, yeah, you're excited.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
So yeah, you know, because you don't go to the
store no more. You know, I'll go way back when
you go the tower. Yeah, I go that far back,
you know, and I have I'll tell you by notary,
but you know, I download the song and I can't
wait to hear him to talk to some fly stuff
and this flu and he's like, okay, maybe after this
(21:23):
a few seconds, gonna start rapping.
Speaker 4 (21:25):
I want to listen to the whole album. And he
didn't nothing. So you got my money. I love your dog,
were the best?
Speaker 2 (21:34):
All right? Well that's your e T. When we come
back under the radar, stories that are not in the
headlines are flying under the radar. In the meantime, here's
some and this is unfoolish.
Speaker 7 (21:44):
News.
Speaker 6 (21:44):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
All right, his way up, I'm into the y n
C to the m f K in the building.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
Yes, we are.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Causing all kinds of havoc. Let's get into some under
the radar. Medicals is now free from most students at
Johns Hopkins University. Can you believe that Bloomberg Philanthropys is
gifting one billion dollars to make medical medical school free there?
So that is a huge gift in it Bloomberg. So
that's Michael Bloomberg, our former mayor Bloomberg. They said life
(22:19):
expectancy in the US is still lagging behind other country
since COVID the pandemic also hurt public education. Remote schooling
was a disaster for students. So now there you go.
And he had previously donated one point eight billion dollars
that was about seven six years ago to undergrad financial
aid at Johns Hopkins.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
They you know, we never have the receipts when people
say they gave this kind of money.
Speaker 5 (22:42):
You know, people say stuff when I say received you,
you never heard nobody say, yo, I was one of
those people they gave them money to.
Speaker 2 (22:49):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (22:49):
Absolutely, you can't just say that, Okay, I'm just making sure.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
All right. Now, there's a special screening of Princess Purple
Rain that is planned for a Target center to commemorate
the fortieth and universe areene of that movie. You know,
Purple Rain is one of my favorite movies of all
time too. Yeah, so I'm really excited for that. And
there's also going to be a memorabilia from the movie
that will be on display when that happens. So shout
(23:14):
out to Prince and his estate. Purple Rain got him
an Academy Award for Best Original Song Score and gross
nearly one hundred million dollars worldwide, and that soundtrack is
one of the best selling albums. Ever, it remained at
the top of the Billboard two hundred for twenty four weeks.
So you know, I'm a huge Prince fan. You know,
that's my favorite artist. And there's also going to be,
as I told you guys previously, a musical version of
(23:35):
Purple Rain that's going to be on Broadway. It'll debut
in Minneapolis before it's run on Broadway in spring of
twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
Awesome. Yes, Prince was a nice guy.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Really, yeah, I need some print stories.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Yeah, Prince was a nice guy.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
He used to have a comedy show up in his
Minnesota and he's always flies and he was a real
fan of comedy.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
He seems like he has a funny sense of humor, very.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Funny, dry. Yeah, that's why you like them, I do. Yeah, yeah,
just like you.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
All right, well that is you're under the radar. And
now you know, we got the way up mix. At
the top of the hour, we're going to order some food.
It's also a Wealth Wednesday. We'll be discussing student loans information.
You definitely will want to know if you have student loans,
if you have kids who have student loans, because there's
all kinds of things that are happening in Congress. But
Lynette Kalfani Cox is going to be joining us. She
is going to be your expert on all things student
(24:24):
loan debt related. It's way up. She's like the chout like.
Speaker 12 (24:28):
They and Jeli Jean like they and Jelie Jean Man.
Speaker 11 (24:31):
She's spilling it all. This is yet way up.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
All right, it's way up. I'm Angela Yee and my
guy T. K. Kirklan is here with me.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
Yes, I am put the word out.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Put the word out. Be it to your words. Three
million viewers. By the way, did you did you watch No?
I know you were in La though for Cash Money, Yes.
Speaker 11 (24:50):
I was that.
Speaker 4 (24:51):
That was YouTube. And then a week lady, we did
the Essence Pessa in New Orleans.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
All right, we'll talk about that in a second. But
the viewership was up tempers for twenty twenty four, so
they said it was its highest viewership in five years.
Congratulations to that. And BT is about to get sold.
You know, they've been talking about that and Tyler Perry
said he is one hundred percent supportive of that possible
be et sale that's going to be happening. So you know,
(25:19):
I mean they've been trying to sell it for a minute.
Originally he had wanted to buy it. I guess it's
you know. Yeah, so that didn't work out.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
Yeah, I think I was going to put a few
dollars towards it, and I just changed my mind.
Speaker 2 (25:31):
I tell you on that. Yeah, he's different investment.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
Yeah, different investment.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
All right. Now, celebrity family feud Meghan the Stallion was
on and a lot of what they asked her has
gone viral now. Steve Harvey asked her to name something, Kirby,
here's what happened.
Speaker 11 (25:47):
Name something that might be curvy me.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
I feel like that's the answer they wanted, right, Like
they did that on purpose, all right. In addition to that,
a lot of people thought this was really tacky.
Speaker 11 (26:01):
Name something you've done to your mate's feet.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Massage, massage. Now, it could have been just innocently random question,
but you know, she did get shot in the foot,
and so people thought, oh.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
Together, I'm looking at you, like, what are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (26:25):
You were looking at me.
Speaker 4 (26:26):
I was looking at you, right.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
I was like, let me break it down.
Speaker 4 (26:29):
Thank you, because I'm like I didn't know if I
was having a seizure.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Oh what, Oh yes, that's the reason.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
Oh okay, I'm looking at you. I was staring at
you right.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
Confused, So you know, and in that vein, maybe it
was an innocent question that was happening, but people were like, Oh,
you're trying to be funny.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Oh that's funny. That that is funny. But God blessed
of the whole.
Speaker 11 (26:53):
Situation, all right.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
And Kevin Durant was on the Impulsive podcast and he
was on there with Logan Paul alongside I Shows, and
he was asked about if he was single, So why
are you.
Speaker 18 (27:03):
Sing because I don't want a girlfriend? Early on I
understood that, like, she's not mine. Even if she may
be my girlfriend, she she might be influenced by other people.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
You're selling yourself short of the greatest energy in this world.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
That is lost.
Speaker 18 (27:17):
I mean, he was right, but trip on that relationship.
If we having a good time for a moment, then cool.
If we if you end up venturing off and I
do two.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
It is what it is. Yeah, he's entitled to, he's
entied to how he wants to feel.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Yeah, you know, some people feel like maybe he's a
little heartbroken. They did ask him about.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
That, and what did he say.
Speaker 2 (27:39):
He said, I wouldn't say I had my heartbroken. I
started to understand women a little bit more as I
as well. Early on I understood like that's when he
started talking about how she's not mine, so but engaged before.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (27:50):
But you know, when you look at Kevey, he's a
great basketball player. But I don't see nobody really loving
him like that. I don't see nobody laying on his chest.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
And why would you see that?
Speaker 4 (27:59):
You know, I'm just saying he's a smooth enough you know, you.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Don't think so. I think people think that he has
a good sense of humor. He's funny.
Speaker 4 (28:06):
And I don't see they knocking down his door.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
You know, trust me, the girls are knocking down.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
They definitely down my door if they knocked down my
door yet. And I got a little door, sorry to
hear that. Oh yeah, a little door. You see how right?
I love her?
Speaker 2 (28:25):
And let's let's talk about K's little door when we
come back. We don't want to talk about everything you
have going on.
Speaker 11 (28:33):
It's the way up, way up with Angela.
Speaker 12 (28:35):
Ye more, now all right, it's.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Way up by Angela. K. Kirkling is here. Yes I am,
Yes you are, and I want to talk about first
of all, why you're in New York right now? Because
you know you plan things, weigh in advance.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
Sure the somethinghow far advance?
Speaker 2 (28:49):
I planned Angela like six to eight months?
Speaker 11 (28:52):
Easy?
Speaker 4 (28:53):
Easy. When I leave here, I stopped playing.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
When I'm coming back, you already did here next year, Yes,
this particular day, So everybod I'm in Jersey because I'm
on my Live Nation tour. But the way they had
my tour set up, I wouldn't be able to come
to New Jersey this year, so I had to move
some dates around.
Speaker 4 (29:10):
So it's everybody listening. And I didn't cancel certain days.
Speaker 5 (29:13):
I just postponed and moved them the different dates because
I had to do New Jersey this particular week. And
I'm performing at the Stress Factory in New Brunswick, and
we want all my friends in the Tri state area,
especially in Jersey City, New Jersey. Know that's where I

Speaker 4 (29:42):

Speaker 5 (29:43):

get them tickets today.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
This is I wanted to be and it will be
a sold out event. So start getting the tickets now.
Speaker 9 (29:55):
Now.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Listen, you've been quite busy on the road lately. You
know BT Awards just happened, but so did Essence Festival.
So talk to me about cash Money because you brought
out cash Money at Essence Festival. You were on Essays
t to the f K Kirkland, Okay, so discussed with
us what the Essence Festival was like. I heard cash
Money night was amazing, insane.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
I think we got up to ninety thousand people.
Speaker 8 (30:18):
It was.
Speaker 11 (30:18):
It looked wild.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
My friend Destiny, who braised my hair, she was like,
that was the most fun I had the whole time.
Speaker 19 (30:24):
I was there.
Speaker 4 (30:24):
It was awesome.
Speaker 5 (30:25):
And I got the call from Baby really months ago,
and I had turned it down. I didn't really yep,
I had turned it down.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
I don't know. I just was in I guess. I
guess I was feeling myself. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
And then we talked again because we're doing some other
business together, and I said, you know what, babe, I'm
gonna you know, we either called Baby a stunner and
I said, yo, so yes, I'll do that.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
I'll do it.
Speaker 5 (30:47):
So we did the YouTube thing in Los Angeles, california'all
hosted that.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
I got to, you know, floss a little bit.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Better YouTube dinner for cash money.
Speaker 4 (30:55):
Yeah yeah, and you know, I got the floss a
little bit.
Speaker 5 (30:57):
Then we flew out to New Orleans and we did that,
and I just want to say that was a phenomenal situation.
I wanted to thank Baby and Slim for it, even
think because you're not toured with them in the nineties.
Speaker 4 (31:08):
The whole cast money told about a little TK history.
Speaker 5 (31:11):
Yeah, you know, just doing my thing. So you know,
we got some other things popping up for the end
of the year next year. So it's looking good. So
shout out to New Orleans and all that stuff, and
shout out to Stunner and Slim, lazy gentlemen, you know.
So it was a good movie and I appreciate it
because when I saw my name come up on the
LSD lights, I.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Said, wow, I mean, and the crowd went crazy and crazy.
It's on your Instagram, So everybody go to my Instagram page.
That TK underscore Kirkling make sure you follow me and.
Speaker 4 (31:41):
Make sure you like. But there's a lot of good
stuff on there. But shout out to New York.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
You know there's a fake TK Kirklan page.
Speaker 4 (31:46):
I saw that.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
It looks very similar.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
What's funny.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
He personally has a handful of followers.
Speaker 4 (31:51):
I like, Yeah, here's what I did though, I DM them.
I said, yo, do you know? They hit responded what
they said, and we started talking. So he said, Yo,
this is a fan page.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
I don't say that. I said, you.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
Didn't ask me. You know, I'm still old school. I
don't know how this goes, right.
Speaker 5 (32:08):
He said, here's this is my tone. You didn't ask
me for permission to be a fan, Yeah, to be
a fan. So I said, can you please take it down?
And he said he basically said he was gonna take
it down. And I haven't been back going in yet
the check but I check it.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
But yeah, blow him up like that.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
Yeah, it's okay, that's blow him up. Yeah, No, he
gotta go.
Speaker 5 (32:27):
He got because somebody said that he was asking for money.
Somebody said they need money to get a membership in
the gym or something.
Speaker 13 (32:35):
Something like that.
Speaker 4 (32:35):
The girl hit me the embarrassing Yeah, So embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
All right, well, thank you, TK, and listen when we
come back. I got to talk to you about lip Service.
We had an episode with the YadA Awakening and we
have the audio. Now, okay, here's here's what he said
on this episode, telling.
Speaker 8 (32:52):
My sisters this if if a do wants a day
you fifty thousand, fifty thousand.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
Cash or no.
Speaker 8 (32:59):
If they can't afford it, payment plan fifty thousand. And
it's if they don't have it, your dating in the
wrong pool.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
Oh, this is very similar to some things you've said before.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
People listen to me, so listen.
Speaker 2 (33:10):
I want to talk about that when we come back.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Men, you
know what do you think about this? But for ladies,
maybe you need to know your value. And if you
know a guy wants to date, you tell him fifty thousand.
If you don't have it, don't do it. Eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Yes.
Speaker 11 (33:26):
Oh, you vabbing way up with Angela yet more?
Speaker 2 (33:30):
Now all right, it's way up. I'm Angela yee. TK
kirkling his hair, Yes, and we're talking about YadA Awakening
on lip Service yesterday he said, well, that episode just
came out, and here's what he said.
Speaker 8 (33:41):
I told my sisters this, If a du wants to
date you fifty thousand, fifty thousand, they take cash or
no if they can't afford a payment plan fifty thousand,
and it's if they don't have it, your dating in the.
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Wrong pool, oh fifty thousand.
Speaker 7 (33:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
And I love people and I don't even like put
people down, you know, but that don't make no sense.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
I can't imagine just somebody coming up to me and
you know, hey, you know, nice to metail, love to
take you out. AMU saying it's fifty thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (34:10):
Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
It's not even my style.
Speaker 4 (34:12):
Answer. That is beneath my educational level.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
But he said it works for him. Well, I want
to see what you guys think. Eight hundred two nine
to fifty one fifty Alex, what's up?
Speaker 3 (34:22):
Not much?
Speaker 20 (34:23):
If you have to put a financial amount on a relationship,
then it's not worth it. Me and my fiance has
been homeless at one point in time. If there are
things that are going to bother you in life, like
your financial means with somebody, you can't do it because
there are going to come times where you have emotional, physical,
as well as financial problems, and that's when you find
(34:43):
out who the person truly is, how they react to that,
how they deal with that, and how they observe how
you deal with that.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
I can tell you what you're very passionate about this too.
Speaker 20 (34:53):
Yeah, well, I mean my friend actually leaps.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
Off man, So I got to deal.
Speaker 13 (34:58):
I got to see what you know?
Speaker 20 (35:00):
Allow you please on someone's word.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
What are you saying?
Speaker 5 (35:03):
What are you saying is absolutely right because you know
what knowledge does. Knowledge and the relationship is a gift
a curse because as you get older, you think that
you know what you're supposed to have in the relationship,
Like that person has to be financially wealthy, he you
have their own home, etcheter. But if you don't know
none of these things. Relationships can be that much more
better because it's just love. But life's not fair, and
(35:26):
life goes to the toughest. And if you find a
good woman, you got a good woman, You got a
good man, you got a good man. Because dating is
like a Rubik's Q. You got to hope that all
the colors.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Or you can pull the stickers off and make a match.
All right, thank you for calling you E done to
your man? Hey, Clarissa, he hate Prekay hello guitarist, Stop,
that's not her name, Clarissa.
Speaker 4 (35:50):
Oh Carissa, Chris, what do you think?
Speaker 2 (35:52):
What do you think about asking for fifty grand when
you miss somebody?
Speaker 14 (35:56):
Now, I'm one thing for a woman to know her value,
like every woman should know her best.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
Most people don't even make exactly.
Speaker 21 (36:05):
I feel like that's asking a little too much.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (36:08):
Now I'm talking about celebrities dating like, you know, like
they're already of a status, so I can see how
they could maybe want to expect something like that. They're
already at a different type of status from normal people.
Speaker 13 (36:18):
But normal people, that's too much.
Speaker 2 (36:21):
You said you could put them on a payment plan.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
My definition of having money wasn't for to give anyone.
It was for men to make a have their self
worth on what type of women they should be dating
in life. So to take care of a female, I
always tell the man you're gonna pay directly or indirectly.
You paid directly, she's a prostitute. If you pay indirectly.
(36:43):
He was a gentleman, meaning you still got to take
a woman out to eat. You still got to be
a gentleman. And even when I talk about this, and
you sound like you're young too, but anybody I'm in
my sixties, so anybody like late thirties, and they're not
my children because my kids is raised.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
Right. They called the way I think assent. That's the
word that they use.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Well, thank you for calling.
Speaker 4 (37:03):
God bless you love. Yes, you too, and come to
my show. I am right, that's what we talk.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
So we're talking about him.
Speaker 11 (37:10):
Buy you a drink.
Speaker 4 (37:11):
I buy you a drink. I know I am.
Speaker 14 (37:14):
I'm gonna come wark up a conversation.
Speaker 21 (37:15):
I want my drink.
Speaker 4 (37:16):
Okay, you gotta get your fifty grand girl, right, I'll
take a picture of it.
Speaker 11 (37:26):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
All right, Well that was us just kind of talking
about this YadA awaken and you can watch that whole
lip service episode. It's out right now. Yeah, I don't know.
It's an experiment that's going to be happening for us
in Detroit next week. My friends are going to be
asking guys for fifty thousand dollars.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
You really going to do that?
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Yeah, I'm not there, okay in Detroit.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
Yeah, they mean they might come up missing.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
They got it though, Yeah, you know Detroit is the
Detroit is the the capital.
Speaker 5 (38:00):
Chivalry because they in the eighties, they really took care
of their women. They was the people who bought cars
and did things for people, so that.
Speaker 2 (38:09):
They right, I'm gonna let you know what happened. Yeah,
all right, Well, when we come back, speaking of money,
it's a Wealth Wednesday and Lynette caw Fini Cox is
going to be joining us a conversation you don't want
to miss about student loans.
Speaker 19 (38:22):
I had a dream of wealthy and I don't mind
sharing my wealth dogs getting you straight financially, mentally and physically.
Speaker 11 (38:29):
This is Wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Ye.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
What's up? This way up with Angela Yee. I'm Angela
Yee on a Wealth Wednesday, joined by my partners Stacy Tisdale.
Speaker 16 (38:38):
Happy Wealth Wednesday's everybody. We are so excited and we
have some amazing information for you because of something that
happened recently. Everybody out there with student loans knows that.
On July first, the government raised the federal student loan
rate to six point five to three percent from five
point five percent.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
It's the highest level in a decade.
Speaker 16 (39:02):
The average person has about twenty eight nine hundred and
fifty dollars in student loan debt. But Brown people have
fifty two thousand dollars worth of student loan debt. So
it was an SOS kind of call to the money
coach Lynette Califani Cox, who is just one of the
greatest financial experts out there. She is the author of
(39:24):
Zero Debt for College Grads, New York Times bestseller, been
on more than one thousand TV shows, including Oprah Today,
Good Morning America, Way Up with Angela, Yee, Way Up
with Angela ye many times.
Speaker 22 (39:37):
You were here with us in March when the.
Speaker 16 (39:40):
Pause, that three year pause on student loan repayments was lifted.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
So what the heck's with these rates?
Speaker 21 (39:46):
Well, like you said, it's not good news at off
and it's really going to amount to people paying thousand
dollars more for higher education over the loan repayment period. Yeah,
it's going to have long lefting ramification.
Speaker 7 (40:03):
You know.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
I compare this also to even if you're looking at
mortgage rates and interest rates on that you know that
one percent, a little more than one percent makes a
huge difference when it comes to how much you end
up paying.
Speaker 21 (40:15):
It really does, especially over decades of time, and on
average it takes people like twenty plus years to repay
their college debt.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
All right, Lynette called Finnie Cox is here. We have
more with her when we come back.
Speaker 19 (40:29):
It's a Wealth Wednesday, the dream of wealthy and I
don't mind sharing my wealth dog getting you straight financially,
mentally and physically.
Speaker 11 (40:37):
This is Wealth Wednesday on Way Up with Angela Ye,
what's up?
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Its way up with Angela yee. I'm here and of
course my Wealth Wednesday co host Stacy Tisdale is here
and we're talking to Lynette Kaw Finie Cox. We want
to help you out with your student loan debts.
Speaker 16 (40:50):
President Biden kind of did people a solid You said
your interest is going to accrue, but it's not going
to go on your credit report until September if you
don't start paying these loans back. Talk to people about
the difference in the student loan debt situation under a
Biden administration versus what's being proposed by Trump administration.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
Right, And I just want to say that's also important
because part of what Biden has been trying to do
with his administration is to get rid of student loan
debt and that has definitely been pushed back on is
he's done a lot of workarounds, but some people also
look at it like he didn't keep his promises. So
I want to make sure that we discuss, like like
Stacy said, yeah, what is really going on when it
(41:32):
comes to what could happen and what the the coortiest did.
Speaker 21 (41:36):
I would really push back on the concept that Biden
has not kept his promise with regard to providing student
loan relief, and he has in fact canceled about one
hundred and sixty seven billion dollars for about four million people.
Under Trump, the entire GOP absolutely try to restrict student
loan forgiveness and student loan debt cancelation. So if very
(42:00):
clear that not only has Biden tried to do loan forgiveness,
which got struck down by and large from the Supreme
Court a year ago, then the Biden administration said, Okay, well,
I'm going to use some other means to provide loan forgiveness,
and in a nutshell they pushed through this time called Shade.
So under the Stage program, they basically knocked people's student
(42:23):
loan repayments in half. Because they did a lot of
tweaks to the formula. They protected more of people's income,
saying that if your income as much as two hundred
and twenty five percent of the federal poverty rates, you
didn't have to pay anything on your student loans. You
could pay zero. In other words, if you're single and
you make fifteen dollars an hour or thirty two thousand
(42:46):
ish per year, your student loan payments could be zero.
So catch this even with a zero repayment, that counts
towards student loan forgiveness or cancelation. So people who had
already been paying for ten plus years, many of them
received cancelation under Save.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
Right now, it's a Wealth Wednesday. Stacey Tidyll's here and
we're talking to lynetteca finie Cox about student loan debt repayment.
Speaker 21 (43:14):
You mentioned that interest. Well, now, under the Safe program,
one of the tweaks that they paid is that they
took the interest, the unpaid interest, and they said it
does not accrue as long as you make a payment,
So that includes the zero payment. So that's why people's
loan balances are now finally starting to actually go down
(43:35):
as they should if you've been making payment.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
Okay, and I know you have to go, So where
can people go to find out what they qualify for?
Just so they know where they can get accurate information.
Speaker 21 (43:45):
Studentaid dot gov is a website through the Department of Education.
On my own website as well with this, askdmoney coach
dot com a free financial advice. I have a ton
of student loan articles on there that tell people about forgiveness,
long cancelation, and about a variety of seat and loan
