Beauty up here, and I used her braids, her braiding here.
It's non toxic. And shout out to my girl Destiny
who braided my hair. She said her hands weren't burning
because normally when she braids. She said, it kind of
(00:43):
like burns her hands because they were talking about the
toxicity and braiding here. But this is non toxic, and
she says she.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Really likes it.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
So shout out to dos So Beauty for providing this.
If people don't even think about the chemicals that are
in things that could really affect you. What onah my

It's time to shine a light on.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
It's way up with Angela, Me and Meno. It's time
to shine a light up. Let's shine a light on
the people who are making it into the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame, the new inductees. You want to
know who made the list?
Speaker 1 (01:46):

Speaker 2 (01:47):
You know? Do you know how much I love Salt
and Pepper?
Speaker 1 (01:49):
We all do.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yes. I interviewed them during the pandemic. I was so
excited about that. To even just meet them and be
around them is huge. An addition, Chubby Checker, you know,
the two coming.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Right right now? I would have thought that he had
been in there.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Also, let's see who else made it that you would know?
Cindy Lauper made it in Outcast, Yes, made it into
the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. So shout out to.
Speaker 1 (02:13):

who do you want to shine a light on? I'm good,
thank you. Would you like to shine a light on?

I would like to personally shine a light on. You
and Mano drive trust every morning, so I look to
your show every morning. It makes me feel good. And
then just to see where Mano came from and where
he's at now. It just gets me, a person like
me a lot of inspiration to keep one of life.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
That's right, brother, keep pushing man Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Sure, y'all stay safe and I'm looking forward to the show.
It's gonna be a good episode.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Oh yes, it is. Trust me. Well, thank you for Carlin.
I appreciate you.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
You no problem.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
That was China Light eight hundred and two nine two
fifty one fifty. Just in case you couldn't get through,
you could always leave a message. And when we come back,
let's do some y et you know what. Let's start off
with what everybody was talking about over the weekend, Shador Sanders,
what happened watching the NFL draft? I know you were
watching it too. I was checking it out. We'll talk
about it. It's way up. The say is proof in
the rooms.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
From industry shade.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
To all of gossip out send Angela's feeling that e et.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
All right his way up at the Angela, Yeah, may
know you ready for this et? So were you watching
the twenty twenty five NFL drafts of it?
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:37):
I know it was a lot. So I was like
in and out watching it, watching what was going to happen.
But obviously the big story was Shador Sanders. Where was
he going to play? Everybody thought he was going to
be a first round draft pick. It was kind of
a given that that was going to happen. He had
everything ready, yes, and apparently he did not go into
the fifth round. He was selected by the Browns, and
after that, a lot of things happened, you know, aside
(03:58):
from that. First of all, while he was waiting to
find out what team he was going to, Shincia was
spotted supporting him on draft day, and so there were
rumors that the two of them were dating. Whether or
not that's true, we don't know. But there's a five
year age difference. She's twenty eight, he's twenty three. Not
a big deal, right, but I did see that. London
on the Track's X the child's mother Ebony Ivy, who
(04:21):
does not get along with Shencia was posting about that,
basically kind of calling her a predator and saying that
she likes to mess with little kids. He's not a
little kid five years apart. They're both in their twenty No,
twenty three and twenty eight. Okay, yeah, they're like, that's
not that serious. So a lot of other things happened too, though.
(04:41):
First of all, there was a print call that was
made that was so mean. Jax Albrick, who is the
son of Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Albrick, has apologized to
Shador standers for this print call is a ser let's
makee liltimus here jam of the Saints. We're gonna take
you with our next speaker right here, man, because but
you're gonna.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
Have to wait a little bit longer, man.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
So it was a prank call, and at first no
one knew where that pran call came from. But later
on we did see the video footage of him making
that prank call. Now, since then, Jax Olbrich has put
out a statement on Friday night, I made a tremendous
mistake Schador. What I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing, and shameful.
I'm so sorry I took away from your moment. It
was selfish and childish. I could never imagine getting ready
(05:29):
to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life,
and I made a terrible mistake and messed with that moment.
Thank you for accepting my car earlier today and the
Atlanta Falcons also put out a statement about this, and
they said they do not condone this behavior and send
our sincere apologies to Shador Sanders and his family who
we had been in contact with to apologize to that
was wrong. Another thing that they were saying was how
(05:50):
did he get the phone number, because apparently that phone
is the phone that you just get like he had
it with nobody had the number except the.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Coaches, oh specifically.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, so nobody would have that number, so they have
to be like. So they did say that I guess
he had left like the dad had left the computer
open and he saw it, you know, so I don't know. Now.
Another thing that happened is young Miami people were trying
to say just because she congratulated sha Door and the
Sanders legacy, that she was trying to get on him
(06:23):
and that she was praying on him as well. But
she said she just was congratulating him, which is crazy.
You can't as a woman congratulate a man because people
think automatically that means you're trying to get at someone.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
Live.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Yeah, so let her live a little. She said, I
love seeing black Joy shout out to the standers, Shador
standers legendary. And then she was at the party. She
probably knew she was going to the after party. You know,
it is what it is. Another thing that happened. It's
Shiloh Sanders learned a lesson from his brother's Shador's NFL
draft slide and now he's saying that. You know, this
is what he said on his Twitch live stream.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Dad was our agent.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
But Dad has been working out today how to sign
with an agent. Bro.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
So we're gonna see what happens.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
Yes, so now he's signed with Drew Rosenhouse to represent him.
So at least they have a good sense of humor
about it.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
You know, there's some times hall the work for family.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Listen, I know your son would not when you represented him.
No way, no how okay, man, all right, that is
your ut. When we come back, we have about last night.
We we discussed what we did last night, besides watching
an NFL draft all weekend.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
It's way up.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
So about last night he went down.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
It's way up at Intela. Ye may no, I know
you've been out here.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
Hey again getting hey, listen, I'm getting ready.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
In July twenty six is happening in my wedding.
Speaker 6 (07:43):
Big shout out to my god, Masa over there, Diamond District,
Masa Water.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
I want to see him about the ring? Yeah, did
you pick a ring? Picked out a ring?
Speaker 2 (07:52):
You don't even know the size of the woman's.
Speaker 6 (07:53):
Finger doesn't matter, right, So we decided to go with
like I'm seven seven and a half because I can't
do a big finger.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
Have fat hands, Yeah, I can't do it. It's like a
were wolf.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Some people have really skinny fingers.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yeah, we're gonna We're gonna go with the I think.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Little short, fat hands are so cute.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
No, I don't, little stubby, little stubby stacke hand.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
I picked out the ring, shout the Masa.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
So what type of ring? Is it?
Speaker 1 (08:24):
The biggest, the most, the most dimius?
Speaker 2 (08:28):
When you look for a ring, what do you look for?
Speaker 1 (08:31):
Clarity, that water, that sparkle.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
And what shape? How do you know what shape to do?
Speaker 1 (08:37):
This is a rectangle shape. This is okay, this is
this is it?
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Okay, So it's a rectang rectang Okay, Yeah, what's it? Emerald? Okay,
so you got an emerald?
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Mm hm.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
We don't know what's going on.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
Okay, I'm gonna show you. Listen. I actually filmed it.
I'm gonna show you.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
I cannot wait to see this. I actually, yes, they
got my hair braided. You know, that's a long process.
But I'm getting ready for saying Thomas. So I was like,
let me handle this now so I don't have to
worry about it later. So I got my hair braided.
The other thing I did was, as the weather is
starting to change, I went and bought a couple of
outdoor plants. I don't know anything about plants, so this
was like me trying to figure out what is good
(09:19):
in all seasons so that I don't have to like
take the plants in, cover them whatever. But plants are
really good for you, just I think health wise, just
being able to breathe the air with the plants in it,
and then I think just the just looking at them
sometimes it just feels.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
It feels good.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
In Brooklyn. It ain't like there's a whole lot of
nature around.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
Don't do that.
Speaker 6 (09:40):
So you got your hair braidy, you're going the same time,
you're going back to my country.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
That's how they talk.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Yes, man, Yes, I'm from.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Well USBI shout out to you the United States. So
you don't need a passport to travel. So anybody who doesn't.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Bring you know where you got.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
It's kind of all right. Well, now when we come back,
it's time to tell us a secret. That's eight hundred
fifty one fifty any secret you have, We're here to
keep your secret for you, with us and the millions
of people who will hear it. And you are anonymous
and no one's going to know us you that's no
judgment fifty one fifty call us up, any secret. It's
(10:21):
a no judgment zone. That's how Mano's feeling today. He's
not feeling judgmental. Yes, he's gonna let us slide eight
hundred nine two fifty one fifty call us up, tell
us a secret.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
This way up.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Podcast news, This in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
It's way up. But Angela, yea, I'm with my guy Maino.
No man and let's get into under the radar now.
She and Timu have raised their prices in response to
the terriffs. And listen when I tell you people are
furious about these price hikes. And it is supposed to
be fast fashioned. Sheen prices have skyrocketed by up to
three hundred and seventy seven percent. That's a lot. That's
(11:04):
almost four times the amount of what it used to cost.
So yeah, so get ready for that. Of everything that's
going on right now, Donald Trump posted when terres cut in,
many people's income taxes will be substantially reduced, maybe even
completely eliminated. Focus will be on people making less than
two hundred thousand dollars a year. We shall see. Another
(11:26):
thing that I really was devastating to see. I saw
this story on CNN. Three children who are US citizens
were deported to Honduras with their mothers last week, including
a four year old who was receiving treatment for cancer.
So imagine that this child is a citizen getting cancer treatment. Now,
they were all detained, and the women were attending routine
(11:46):
meetings with officials in Louisiana. It's part of the intensive
supervising appearance program, so they weren't hiding from anybody they
were going to the meetings that they have to go
to that they voluntarily make sure they're doing the right thing,
working within the system, and they would then removed without
due process from the United States. And so, you know,
all of this kind of ties into the fact that
(12:08):
Donald Trump has the lowest approval ratings of any president
in at least seven decades. They said his approval rating
is the lowest for the first one hundred days dating
back to at least Dwight Eisenhower. It's even lower than
his first term. Was just to put things into perspective,
and you.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
Know how he responded.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
You want to know how he responded to this. He
said that posters have shown that have shown his approval
rating sliding should be investigated for election fraud.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Oh, now, it's legendary.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
He said. They are negative criminals who apologize to their
subscribers and readers after I win elections big, much bigger
than their post showed I would win, lose a lot
of credibility, and then go on cheating and lying for
the next cycle only worse. But when things are in
his favor, he promotes it. But when they say that
it's going down all of a sudden now need to
be investigated for fraud. And lastly, he wants to bring
(13:04):
back Columbus Day. He said Democrats ruined Christopher Columbus's reputation,
and so we posted on truth social that he's bringing
Columbus Day back from the ashes. We all see we
recognize and celebrate Indigenous People's Day on that day instead.
Former President Joe Biden actually recognized it and was the
first president to do so. In a twenty twenty one proclamation,
(13:27):
he acknowledged the painful history of wrongs and atrocities that
many European explorers inflicted, and so that's why they don't
want to bury that. But apparently the president now does
have that as his motivation. And speaking of motivation, it
is a Monday, so coming up later we do have
a Monday made over, so ask ye on the way
(13:49):
and more, and also the way it mixed at the
top of the hour. All right, we are ready to
get this week started its way up.
Speaker 7 (13:57):
Just like the talk like they and Julie Jane, like
they and.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Julie Man, she's spilling it all. This is yeaty way.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
It's way up at Angela. Ye, I'm here with man,
he don't know what he wants. You can look at
his Instagram page and see that. But let's get into
some of this.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Yeat, what stop?
Speaker 2 (14:17):
All right now? This was a nice to watch Spice
and Vibes Cartel and Kays and that's live stream. You
gotta imagine how much fun that was. First of all,
I want to say shout out to Spice. She was
on there daggering. She was killing it.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
I found I've been seeing it.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
You never knew how to told you it's outlawed, it's
illegal and engineering.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
I like it though. I like what you just showed me.
The dudes that I don't think you can take it.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
But anyway, here is Kays and that with Vibes Cartel.
Vibes was telling him what he needs to do, you know,
to call up his lady and here's what happened.
Speaker 5 (14:49):
If you do this and she's loyal.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Fact, have you ever done that? But you get married?
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Yeah, that's got to be one of my terms all
right now?
Speaker 2 (15:19):
And this listen to that. Kyle Sanatt was explaining why
he has been missing from streaming this month, and here
is the little tea that he spilled.
Speaker 6 (15:28):
Everybody was wonder one where I've been at your boy
has been on set first movie as I know, And
right now we're on a little bit of.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
A break until we start filming again.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
I supposedly the movie with Kevin Hart and Drewski. Can
you imagine how much fun that probably is on set?
All right now, we told you earlier that Diddy does
have his his child starts next week. Well you know
who else is going to get a hearing actually on
May eighth, Little Dirk. He may have another chance at freedom,
(15:57):
and this is all for his federal murder for higher case.
There's documents the complex obtained and they're going to have
a hearing to see if he can be released from
jail ahead of his trial that is starting on May eighth.
So they did try to get his case dismissed altogether.
They said it's mistakenly based on YouTube videos from fan pages.
But you know, we'll see what happens with Little Dirk,
(16:18):
and academics actually spoke to him on stream, and here's
what happened.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
Bro.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
I just be in my box.
Speaker 6 (16:26):
I don't really too much be talking to everybody or
trying to be like in everybody finished or everybody in
my business.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
My family, good I saw that people were saying that
his his lady India had her hand on another guy's
leg and it was like a video but it was
like her guy friend who Dirk knows who. Yeah, it
wasn't nothing, but yeah, people make everything a big deal.
Imagine if you know he didn't know when he's hearing
(16:57):
about these things, because I can't even imagine. I know,
you know you had a lot of girlfriends in jail,
but I can't even imagine what it must You got
to watch how.
Speaker 6 (17:03):
You say that, because it could be, you know, phrased
differently that girlfriends in jail.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
No, I had a lot of girlfriends, you understand. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Anyway, speaking of which, Gizell Bryant, she was on Watch
What Happens Live, that's the same episode that Portia was on,
and she updated people on what's going on with Karen
because Karen is in prison. After she had that Duy,
Here's what she said.
Speaker 8 (17:31):
I have been in contact with someone who's very close
to her about her.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Safety and all that, and from what I understand, they
love her up in where she is and you know
she is running that thing. I feel very good about
the fact.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
That she's safe. How much time she got.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
She got two years with one year suspended. So she's
got to do a year. Yeah, d u I. She
also was previously charged with a U Y and reckless driving. Yeah,
so that's the problem. All right, Well that is your
yet when we come back, we gotta do on Monday maynovation.
I cannot wait to hear what you're going to talk
(18:04):
about in this mainnovation. I have some ideas for you.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
I bet you do.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
All right, we'll talk about it Monday May Innovation when
we come back. Right now, here's some Rihanna and jay Z.
This is nice Brella. It's way up.
Speaker 9 (18:18):
More way up with now.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
All right, it's way up with Angela. Yee. I'm here
with Maino by the way. Right before we went up
just now, I had the hiccups and just got rid
of them. And here's my tip for anybody listening. All
you have to do is drink water with your head
upside down.
Speaker 6 (18:37):
I'm not sure if that it did.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
I just have the hiccups. It literally just works. I
do it all the time when I get the hiccups. Okay,
you drink some water and you get the hiccups. I
can't wait for you. I just can't wait anyway, It's
time for Monday.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Man and today's innovation.
Speaker 6 (18:55):
I will say this, you have to stop believing that
people can't about everything that you care about. You got
to stop believing and people think and care about what's
important to you.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
I was telling my son this this morning.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
Right.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
The perception that you create for yourself is what people
view you on. That's who you are to people.
Speaker 6 (19:15):
And usually that perception is created by some of the
things that you do and don't do. You understand, so
the way you present yourself to the world is the
way people won't look at you. Not that we care
so much about how people look at us, but just
understand that that if if you present yourself, present yourself
to be a thief, then that's how people gonna deal
with you.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
Right.
Speaker 6 (19:34):
And if you still, if you're still, if your life
you're Robert.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
Whatever it is, if you if you smoke whatever, like you, that's.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Per I would say that's how new MANO was.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Born, right because of my perception.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
And then what do you think people's perception was of you?
Speaker 6 (19:50):
That I was just a real, real cool guy. Yeah, yeah,
Like I was just like an overly cool guy. And
then I'm just like how do we?
Speaker 1 (20:00):
How do we?
Speaker 4 (20:00):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (20:01):
What's then even cooler? Yeah, I just want to say,
you're gonna be throwing out these innovations. It was like accountability.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
It was like cool without pause, it was like really cool.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
It was like accountability throwing out these manovations and that.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
You don't know what, So you tell me what the
people think about? What was the perception on.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
But now that you're getting married, the perception is changing,
right home, narrative is changing. I think you know. There
was also the perception that you were a hot head
and now you've learned to count to ten backwards before
you react.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Is that what they said? Is that what they say? Hey,
look you said it.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
I'm with you, baby, Okay, I'm with you anyway. Thank
you for that Monday mannovation. Thank you for that accountability.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Yeah, that's what they say.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
There.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Whatever they said, it probably was true.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
All right, Well when we come back, ask ye eight
hundred two nine two fifty, one fifty. The perception of
Mano is that he is an award winning advice giver.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
And that's true.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
The awardness here the studio right ward winning advice get
right eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Any
question you have, We're here to help you out because
new Manos is an expert at this type of thing,
giving career advice. No judgment right, judgment right eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty is way up.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
With it's relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts you
should you should know. This is ask ye.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
What's up? Its way up with Angela yee, and it's
time for ask ye. Eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty. We have Leche on the line. What is
your question for ask you today?
Speaker 8 (21:35):
Okay, where is the difference between our bitter baby father
and a baby mother that's actually trying for co parent?
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Now, what you just did there was already frame it
in a way that you led us to believe that
your baby father is bitter, but you went to co parent.
So talk to me about what's going on.
Speaker 9 (21:53):
Okay.
Speaker 8 (21:54):
So he is basically trying to take copy head sign
and one of my daughters thats not his daughter at all,
Oh my gosh, and he's doing it buys the wrong way.
He has a girlfriend that's also better. So now we
just leave me looking like I'm biter when I'm really
the baby mother that's really trying to copreent, but he's
(22:16):
sure to.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Well here's the thing. Number one, He's not going to
be able to take custody unless you're like done some
awful things. Are you scared about that at all?
Speaker 4 (22:24):
Not at all?
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Not at all. So is this something you're going to
have to go to court for or is he just
threatening this?
Speaker 9 (22:29):
I'm going to go to court.
Speaker 8 (22:30):
I'm actually on spect legal service, so I can take
it there.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
I'm glad that you said that, because one thing that
we need to make sure we do is handle ourselves legally.
You know, maybe in time things will get better. Does
he get a chance to see his kids? Like? Why
why is he even threatened?
Speaker 8 (22:46):
He said the chance to have them like coherently, like
I've even settled to be a weekend mom, and that's
strict in me.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Well, I think right now, whatever happens, you got to
protect yourself and do what's best for your children first
and foremost. And if that means that you have to
go through court to establish what are the times that
he's going to see his kids, what are the responsibilities
that he has? Also communicating there's apps where you can
communicate with him strictly through the app, so that anything
that you guys say to each other is documented in
(23:13):
that way. You know, protect yourself also by not writing
or doing things that are crazy that could potentially be
recorded or it can be screenshot and used against you.
You have to think about all of those things. And
if you feel like I can't even speak to him
one on one, then you need to have a person
that is in your family or somebody close that can
actually be the mediator for you guys.
Speaker 8 (23:34):
Yes, ma'am, And it's definitely not going to be family.
He has them involved now where he has in the
children shooting a bye where they feel right that his
side is there. Like I say, I'm just going to
do this the right way instead of my way, because
my way I'll be somewhere I'm not supposed to be.
Speaker 9 (23:49):
Stop trying to set.
Speaker 8 (23:50):
A good example for these mothers and show them the
drama in the outwit her option, even though it's about.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
You can right. And I've definitely heard a lot of
people say later in life that they're grateful when their
mother didn't bash their father. Your job is to make
them know that they're loved, and you would rather them
know that they're loved by both parents than trying to
be against each other. You could feel how you feel,
you know, outside of that, but I think the main
(24:17):
thing is for your kids to not be affected by it.
All right, well, I wish you luck with that, and
please feel free to check back in and let us
know how it goes. I know there's a lot of
people going through it, so to hear your journey is
always important for somebody else who may be doing something
similar dealing with something similar. And you guys can always
hit us up on way up with you when we
post this, you can drop your comments below about your
own experiences dealing with co parenting.
Speaker 9 (24:40):
Ye meam correct.
Speaker 8 (24:40):
I'll listen to see you all day.
Speaker 10 (24:42):
Sam.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
All right, well, thank you had good luck.
Speaker 11 (24:44):
Thank you you have a great.
Speaker 2 (24:45):
Day you too. All right? Well, that was ask ye
eight hundred and two ninet two fifty one fifty. If
you couldn't get through, you could leave a message and
ask you a question. That a way and when we
come back, I want to talk to you guys about this.
Ari Lennox live stream where she talked about trying to
date women but that it wasn't for her and her
reason why she said that understanding women is far more
complicated than she expected. I want to see what you
(25:08):
guys think. I have my own thoughts. I'm surrounded by
men right now. Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
Do you think that women are really more complicated than men?
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty? Are women
more complex? And that would make y'all simple? You men?
It's way up, no beg, we about to do this.
Speaker 3 (25:27):
The most famous women in radio radiomen. We're talking about
Angela Yee. You're way up with Angela Yee.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Please believe that what's up its way up with Angela Yee.
I'm here with Maino Mayo and we're talking about Ari Lennox.
She went on live and she said this about trying
to date a women for a second.
Speaker 7 (25:44):
I tried for like one second. It was like weird.
I just felt insecure and I was like, nah, I'm good.
I feel like guys, sorry a lot. Let me just
stick to what I know. I feel like women. It's
like hard.
Speaker 2 (26:02):
I don't understand them, you know, I don't even understand myself.
All right, Well, apparently women are more complicated. You think
that's true.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
That is true. I mean she could just do both.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Ah you like that.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
No, I'm just saying she wanted to, like not give
up all the way on women.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Just you know, what could you imagine then? What it
must be like if if she thought that one woman
was a lot? How do y'all deal with more than one?
That's why I always say, for men, how do you
do that? If you could barely handle one?
Speaker 6 (26:27):
I said, I give up y'all all complicated, mixed bag
of emotions.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Right, But you know what I will say, in twenty
twenty five, men have become a whole lot more emotional. Really, yeah,
I think so.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
It's definitely true. I hear your emotions all the time.
I'm very even. You come in here, you're up and
down this shit that?
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Are you man?
Speaker 2 (26:48):
You're not talking to her now?
Speaker 4 (26:49):
You are?
Speaker 2 (26:49):
She didn't call you? You upset?
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Like I feel like, you know you're just going to
cap all over me. You know it's not you know what,
you just cap up? You just basic? Oh cap you
just hockey.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
I just feel like men have somehow become more complicated,
and as women, we've become more even. Well, let's talk
to some people eight hundred two nine two fifty one
fifty call us up and let us know what you think.
Are women so much more complicated than men? It's way up?
Speaker 4 (27:18):
Yeah, you want to know my name?
Speaker 5 (27:20):
Way up with Angela?
Speaker 2 (27:24):
What's up as Way up with Angela? Yee, I'm here
with my guy Maino. I'm talking about Ari Lennox. She
was on Live and she was saying that she tried
to date a woman, but it just was not for her.
Here's what she said.
Speaker 7 (27:35):
I tried for like one second.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
It was like weird.
Speaker 7 (27:41):
I just felt insecure and I was like, nah, I'm good.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
I feel like guys, sorry a lot. Let me just
stick to what I know.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
I feel like women.
Speaker 7 (27:51):
It's like hard. I don't understand them, you know, I
don't even understand myself now.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
This thrings about the question are women more complicated than that?
I know that's always been like the stereotype when it
comes to gender roles, like women are the complicated ones.
Men are the ones that are just like simple, Just
give them a sandwich after sex and that's it and
you're good. But women want to talk about feelings, emotions.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
Blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (28:16):
But I feel like I do feel like things have changed.
Maybe it was more like that before, but I feel
like men are more in touch with your emotions. Now
you don't think you're somewhat emotional? Do you think so?
Speaker 1 (28:29):
Though?
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Honestly you look at your an emotional now? All right? Well,
I think that women are more let me see crazy.
You know we do things differently than men, right. I
think the way the way we know we make way
more logical sense. Like I know women will know that
(28:50):
their man is cheating and hold that like in and
have all the evidence and like get that together for
eight months and act normal. I know people who have
done things like that, and I think it's diabe right there. Yes,
I feel like we are more strategic, is a better
way to say it? Well, we want to see what
you think. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty Hey, Erica,
(29:10):
I need hey, so tell me and man, No, you
think that women are more complicated than men, I.
Speaker 9 (29:16):
Would say emotionally. I've dated both men and women on
my life, and I would say dating a woman emotionally
can be complex because we have more to understand about
each other. We have intuition, we have all these dating
and sometimes dating women, you have to like have some
self growth and maturity on your own end to be
able to like collaborate with another woman.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Collaborate. I like that word collaborate.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
So what you're saying is if somebody is not emotionally mature.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
Right, No, it's like two intuitions going off at the
same time. How does that work? Yeah, both got intuition
on each other.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
I have intuition about your intuition about me.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
That's great, mind you.
Speaker 9 (29:55):
Women can be very toxic too, Yes they can.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
I know many.
Speaker 9 (30:08):
Men are more toxic because if they don't have the
emotional intelligence to deal with problems and find solutions, and
they keep recreating the same cycle of toxicity. Women are
more toxic if they still with their ex because when
you date women, they always hung up on the their
ex girlfriend and say friends. They're different toxic levels. So
don't go women in that ocean, do you think?
Speaker 2 (30:29):
So, being that women are more complicated, does that mean
that men are simple?
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Yes?
Speaker 9 (30:33):
I look at energy, right, So you got to divine
masculine energy, you got to divine feminine. I think men
are great for leadership roles making decisions, but they need
women for that intuition and that windom to lead them
to make those decisions. So I think men are great.
Y'all are fine, But no, y'all are inferior.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Intellectually.
Speaker 7 (30:55):
You know.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
Last question, who do you think you'll end up with
a man or a woman? What do you prefer?
Speaker 9 (31:03):
I've been married to a woman already. I hope she's
not listening to this anyway, but I'm engaged. I'm getting
married in to another woman.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
So well, okay, okay, so you like.
Speaker 9 (31:14):
Okay, okay, maturity.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Okay, all right, Well, thank you for sharing with us.
Thank you guys, you too.
Speaker 7 (31:22):
Well.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
If you couldn't get through, you can always leave a
message for last word that numbers eight hundred and two
ninety two fifty one fifty And when we come back,
you have the last word.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
Tapping to get your voice heard. What the word is?
Speaker 2 (31:35):
Is the last word?
Speaker 5 (31:36):
On Way Up with Angela? Ye?
Speaker 2 (31:37):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (31:38):
His?
Speaker 2 (31:38):
Way up with Angela?
Speaker 7 (31:39):
Yee?
Speaker 2 (31:39):
I'm here with my guy made up. I feel like
we're getting closer to finding your bride.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
Yeah, if you just stop putting out those rumors.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
There's no rumors. We're actually going to be in Saint
Thomas in a couple of days. For duvet for carnival.
We're gonna have a good time. But my man goal
out there is to find you your wife, your bride.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
This is what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
So I'm gonna be interviewing people. So if you're going
to be in Saint Thomas, how at me, We're gonna
do the interview. Mina will be there. We're gonna find
you at your wife. I feel good about it. I
feel good about it. I really feel I think your
wife is going to be a carnival. Yes, yes, and
you're from Saint Thomas, yes.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Yes, yes.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
All right, well you guys, this is your show, so
you have the last word.
Speaker 11 (32:22):
I really do feel like being with women is way
more complicated. Like I've been a lesbian for like eighteen
years now, and I was just telling my friends that
I think it's time to really give it up, Like
I don't think it's for me anymore. Women come with
a lot of emotions now like then it's two of us,
so we're all over the place. You get what I'm saying.
(32:45):
Not saying that I want to be with a man,
but I don't know. I just think I want to take.
Speaker 9 (32:50):
Time for myself and figure me out.
Speaker 10 (32:53):
I want to sound light my mom tinging O House
with you know Lamo, Florida. She's the greatest mom'm ever.
I salute her to the footges forraising me and I
just want to give you a sign sand light on her.
This is her son one One Love listens
Speaker 3 (33:08):
