Speaker 1 (00:01):
You are now angel what I call ye.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Oh man. We are back from a break. It's way
up at Angela yee and guests, who's here today? Our
mom Wiggins is here.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Yes, I am back.

Speaker 4 (00:21):
Welcome back.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Thanks for having me.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
We got so much to.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Talk to you about today, Yes we do, because you.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Went quite viral.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
But we're gonna address that during the show today because
I saw you put out a statement. We're learning and growing, right,
but I want you to just set the record straight
because things go viral out of context, and it's not
just your group of followers who are now commenting, it
is everybody and things a lot. It was a lot,

(00:49):
and so we want to talk about that. I was
in Turks and Kko's now I'm back back at work, baby.
But I also cannot start the show without sending some
love to everybody in Texas. So far with the flooding
that happened there, at least eighty two people have been killed,
a lot of kids.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Also, just really devastating news all of this.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
And this you know, slashes to uh FEMA and also
to the National Weather Service staff, all of these things
that are going on climate change. But we definitely have
to spread some love there. We cannot not start the
show without doing that first and acknowledging that. Now, let's
spread some love and let's shine a light. Eight hundred
two nine two fifty one fifty. Call us up, Please
let us know who you would like to shine a

(01:32):
light on. Eight hundred nine to fifty one fifty. Its
way up, Shine, I'm shine.

Speaker 5 (01:37):
Turn your lights on, y'all lights spreading love to those
who are doing greatness.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Shine the light on them, Shine the.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Light on them.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
It's time to shine a light on them.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
It's way up at Angela. Yeah, and it's time to
shine a light. Are my wikends Welcome back.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
What a great day to have you here.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Because we're going to be talking about Diddy later, but
right now, I want to shine a light on Baltimore
and Mayor Brandon Scott. He said the city has the
fewest homicides in fifty years so far in twenty twenty five,
and part of the reason is because he's invested in
forty two summer youth camps, twenty nine literacy programs, extended

(02:15):
the rec center hours to eleven PM, planned block parties,
opened the pools for say fun, and opened several schools
up for summer classes. Crime is also down sixty two percent.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
So he got people busy, he.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Got the kids busy.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
He's got amazing programs that's going to help these kids
for the rest of their lives.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Set the foundation.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
I saw somebody posted on under the comments the last
Nara said, damn, it's like giving the kids something to
do instead of criminalizing them works absolutely, and this is
proof positive. And I think a lot of people should
follow this blueprint in other cities because it's working.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
All right, now, Catherine, who do you want to shine
a light on?

Speaker 6 (02:53):
My man?

Speaker 7 (02:54):
His name is Eric Jigson.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Okay, he's great.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
He do whatever I actual to do his look.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Club, Wow, that's your man, and that's also your assistant.
But look, yeah, you're right. Every good partner is kind
of like your assistant too. Do you do whatever Eric
Jackson asked.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
You to do?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Too?

Speaker 8 (03:14):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (03:14):
I do.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
See Now that's love. He does whatever you ask him,
and you do whatever he asks you.

Speaker 9 (03:20):
Yes, I do?

Speaker 2 (03:21):
All right, Well, thank you for color you sound in love,
in love just the way you say.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Yes I do, I am.

Speaker 9 (03:26):
But he's better than the one the other relationships I've
been in.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
I know, that's right.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
See level up baby, thank you, thank you for calling.
All right, Well that was Shining Light eight hundred and
two ninety two fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through,
you can leave a message in Shina Light that way.
And when we come back, Drake new music he thought betrayed.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
We'll talk about its way up.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
They say in the rooms, from industry shade to all
of gossip out.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Angela's feeling that et.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Yee, I'm here with my guy armand Wiggans welcome.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Yes, I'm back.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
You ready to get into this et.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Let's get into it.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Are you a Drake fan?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I'm a Drake fan?

Speaker 4 (04:05):
All right, Well, Drake has a new song.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
They came out and when I tell you it had
social media in a frenzy, talking about fake friends, talking
about loyalty. Number one on Spotify for the past couple
of days, over a million streams Eat today And by
the way, Drake was the only artist to get over
billion streams on Spotify in June. Wow, which is crazy.
So for people who are like, oh, give it up,

(04:28):
it's over, Clearly he's gonna keep pushing forward and doing
what he does.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
So in the song what did I miss? He took
some shots.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Some people are trying to figure out who is he
referencing Kendrick, Lebron, Damar de Rosen.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
Listen to this part.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
You know, people came to his pop out and that's
Lebron Damar you know. So I guess he feels betrayed
about the fact that you always here with me and
then now you're rocking with stops.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (04:53):
I ain't gonna lie it's a banker though I'm over here, Bobby.
But I wonder does Drake ever get over it?

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I don't know, but do people ever get over what
they feel is betrayal?

Speaker 10 (05:05):
No, but at some point it's just kind of like,
all right, do you start to look like a simple
a little bit after a minute?

Speaker 2 (05:10):
And you know, future posted I'm always choose being a
real one over anything. So he could have felt like
some shots were taken to him, and then Lebron liked
the comment, so you know everybody's paying attention to that.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
I never catch all of this.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Now here is some shots at Rick Ross and of
course Kenjock again, and then in this part he's taking
shots at everybody.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
He feels like he helped them.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
He bought people on tour, gave people versus, and he
feels betrayed. Here's what he said on what did I miss?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
What did I miss?

Speaker 10 (05:42):
When I was looking at y'all and cooking with y'all.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
And giving out versus and buttons?

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Do y'all making sure whys were hit? Man? What did
I miss? When he was all in my crib looking
at him word for word?

Speaker 11 (05:53):
And all other shows y'all always felt like this man,
what did I miss?

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Okay, Now this goes both, So I will say this
getting on songs of people given verses that helps you too,
because sometimes it helps you stay tapped in. You hop
on a song that you see the potential or it's
already hot and it.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Takes it to another level.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Yes, but you know it's hard to not do that
and be in this business and be successful because part
of your success is being able to help other people.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Now do they owe you loyalty after that?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Because Kendrick helped people too, So it could be am
I supposed to choose a.

Speaker 10 (06:27):
Side, And if you're an artist, you're like, well, do
I not do this speeture or do I not collab
with this person? Because I'm cool with you but this
could actually help my career.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
It's business.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
It's business.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
These are people you grew up with.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
But at the same time, no, it's in the music business.

Speaker 10 (06:40):
If this dude is calling me a certified pedophile and
all that, dude, you're not working with him.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
They like, but the song is so good, all right now.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Drake also went live and featured several unreleased songs. He
was driving around Toronto on a truck and somebody on
the live called him a name.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
Here's what happened.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
So what that big dog?

Speaker 6 (07:04):
Don't look away now, don't get shot now, we'll fold
that up right now.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
That's a Toronto slang. I guess fold that up right now.

Speaker 10 (07:15):
I think that that's happening, just because the way he's
handled this loss, it just seems like it's coming from
a bitter place.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Also, you can't really like be for people on your
live stream, like what you're gonna do?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Go find them, pull up, you know.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
But people are saying that he's also working on a
new album that they think is called Iceman. He went
live on YouTube for Iceman Episode one that was on
Friday night, and so people are thinking that is.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Going to be what the new album is.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
Called all right, I'm excited for it.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
All right, Well, you know what if you ought an't
hear what did I miss? Because you missed it while
you were on break, We're gonna play it for you
right now. What did I miss? And when we come back,
we have about last night. Let's get into it.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
So about last night? Yes, I went down.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
All right, way yup at Angela. Yeah, and it's time
for about last night. Now our mind Wiggins is here.
Let's start with you. Clearly you've been covering this Diddy trial.
It's ended, so we're just waiting for sentencing. And so
tell me what it was like for you now that
you had a little bit of time off from work.
You had a viral moment, which we're going to really
address as we talk to you more in depth later.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
But tell me what that whole experience was like.

Speaker 10 (08:24):
Just the it was crazy mayhem, but it was a
beautiful experience. You know, I loved it. I had a
great time over the weekend. I got to just kind
of finally relax now that it was over. You know,
things have slowed down, got some drinks, had a nice
Fourth of July, went and step by the pool. Then
I finished up yesterday at Central Park, just kind of
really grounded myself and getting prepare for today. So, you

(08:46):
know what, the trip is coming to an end and
slowly wrapping up, and I'm just like reflecting on everything now.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
But it was a great time. I don't regret it
at all.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
How was the whole going viral incident and people saying things,
because I know that can be as much as people
don't really unless it happens to you, that can be
really stressful.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Yeah, So it was a lot.

Speaker 10 (09:05):
It was a lot of pressure because it was like
I put so much work in for the sixty days
that I was here, and it almost seemed like that
could have got you raised by one accidental moment that
wasn't that got taken out of contacts, you know what
I mean. And I think a lot of the media
blew it up into something that it wasn't.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Well, we're going to get more into that. I want
to give you some space and time to really get
into it later. For me, I was in Turks and Caicos,
just got back, had a little trip. I wasn't planning
to do anything, but I really have not had a
vacation in like two years working on this house. A
lot of times I go places I might stay at
extra day, but this was like a no work. I
had like two zoom calls and that was it the

(09:44):
whole time I was there.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
So shout out to everybody in Turks and Caicos for
always making me feel at home as soon as I
land and get to the airport.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Thank you to Hazel.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
Thank you to my guy Jack Nasty who always shows
us around and has a great time. And when you
go to the airport there you see video looping around
and around in baggage. Claim. Okay, captain Oaks tiki bar,
to everybody that was a cowboy, to everybody that we
had hippers out there. It was his birthday. I saw
Danny Lay, I saw all kinds of people. Turks is

(10:14):
a time, y'alls. You now tap in guys, and when
we come back, oh, tap in with us and tell
us a secret.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Yes you know, I love tell us a secret.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one to fifty. You
can go viral eight hundred fifty one fifty, but this
is a no judgment zone and you are anonymous. That's
eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Call us up. Tell us a secret and go viral.
It's way up.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Oh, way up.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
I know that's right, judgment free zone. It's way up
with Angela. Yeah, it's me and our mom Wiggins here
with you.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Yes, you ready for some secrets? Yes?

Speaker 4 (10:52):
You know I love the secret all right?

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty anonymous color,
tell us your secret.

Speaker 12 (10:57):
I got my ex girlfriends sister pregnant two yeah, two
years ago, two years ago. You know, we talked about
it and she had an abortion because we ain't want
to We always stepped into a message situation. We didn't
want to create more mess.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Wow, so nobody knows about this but you and her
exactly in God, was that already or ex?

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Or is this your ex?

Speaker 2 (11:16):
Now?

Speaker 13 (11:17):
No, that was already my accept the tongue she sh and.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Did you guys still keep on talking after that?

Speaker 6 (11:23):
No?

Speaker 13 (11:23):
I mean we called you. You know, if I happened
to feel out, it's like, hey, what's up? You know?
How you doing? That's it's a high boy situation at
this point.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
How did the hook up?

Speaker 3 (11:31):
How did they have?

Speaker 12 (11:32):
Yeah, the sister was going to through a breakup at
the toime. I was going through a breakup at the
tom like to hurt people kind of lean on who's
over there type of thing, and.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
We just clicked her people link up.

Speaker 10 (11:43):
Okay, so who's dadding the situation? Was the sister better girlfriend?
Like who had the better Okay.

Speaker 12 (11:51):
Listen, listen, I ain't gonna hold you since the ass fatter.

Speaker 13 (11:55):
So she was throwing it back like it was going crazy?

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Are you also probably liked it just because it was taboo.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
You know, y'all be liking low kid, you know.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
When you're sneaking around a little bit, you're trying to
keep things on the hush hut a little better.

Speaker 13 (12:06):
But but yeah, overall, the sister had it. She was older,
so she got a little bit more experienced teaching you.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
So all right, little skin and max A right, Well,
thank you for calling.

Speaker 13 (12:18):
Appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
I loved it, Thanks for telling You'll see you judgment.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Hey, animis color? How are you?

Speaker 1 (12:24):
I'm good?

Speaker 3 (12:24):
How you doing good?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
You want to tell me in our mind a secret?

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (12:28):
So the father of my children who's been hiding a
voiding taking hit care of our three children. He's had
multiple children since I left him, three years ago, is
telling me he's living in another state. When girl I
found him, he lives ten minutes away. God his new
then the mother of his new children actually is helping me,

(12:50):
and we found him and we're best friends now. And
so like when I'm calling him acting when he's gonna
take care of his kids, He's like, leave me alone.
I'm busy right now. Catch him, like really know he
works at the airport. He's not catching for like, oh.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
My gosh, this guy is psychotic.

Speaker 7 (13:06):
Psychotic is an understand. And we work together for a
time plus years. I left because the abuse was just
getting too much.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (13:12):
And since then, since then, it's okay because I can
be a voice to other people who can't leave. And
since then, he just has completely ghosted his kids. And
they're fifteen, fourteen and four sets to graduate next year,
like doing a damn thing working and he can't even
work to take care of the kids.

Speaker 10 (13:29):
So what are you gonna pop up on him? Like,
because that's what it's all.

Speaker 7 (13:32):
I'm waiting for him to get I'm I'm waiting for
him to get served. I actually saw him to work yesterday. Yes,
that man at work to get served.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Then is on a servant right at work, embarrassing it
out of him and.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Make sure that their beat baby.

Speaker 7 (13:47):
Okay, all right, but I saw him when he worked,
where he worked, everything, and we've been working looking for
him for three years and this time.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
What a loser.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Okay, Well, thank you for calling and updated to let
us know when he gets served.

Speaker 7 (14:01):
Please do all right, Thank you appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
All right.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Well that was tell it's a secret. Eight hundred and
two ninet two fifty one fifty. You can always leave
a message for last word. And when we come back,
ar Mine came in here talking about Cardi B and
Stefan Diggs already, so you know, we got to talk
to you guys about it and see what you think
is really going on. Did they I guess break up.
I don't know if they were officially together, but we'll
talk about it in yet.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
It's way up, shure, she's about to blow the lead
aboff this spot.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
Let's get it.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Oh yeah, Angela's.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Feeling at ye te Come and get your tea.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
It's way up at Angela.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Ya.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
Time for some yet with me and my friend Amma Wiggans.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
What's good? What's going on?

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Well, first of all, let's shout out to Curti B
for the looks that she has out here at the
You said it's Chaparelli.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
I feel like, I say, it's Chopparelli.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
To me, I say, But anyway, she's at the fashion
show in Paris and she's holding a crow, but she
looks amazing.

Speaker 10 (14:52):
Yeah, one thing, Cardi B is going to give you
some beautiful gowns. You know, Colin does this thing. And
I think the crow is for the album. It's part
of the rollout, like am I the I think it's
all a part of that.

Speaker 5 (15:02):
Right.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Well, she's sitting a front row with Carol G and
Dua Lipa also, so shout out to her for that.
But people are saying they believe that her and Stefan
Diggs broke up.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Are we surprised?

Speaker 4 (15:13):
I mean, first of all, I thought she was just
having fun.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah I didn't, but they were together a lot, and
he rented a mansion, did all kinds of things. They
were on yachts together, and so you know, she has
deleted everything and social media detectives are also saying that
she has unfollowed him. Whether or not that's true, I
don't know his Instagram though still had her on there.

Speaker 10 (15:36):
I think this is just for a good time. I
think it was a good attention grabber. She needed to
get over Offset. She's got her album rolling out, so
she probably doesn't even need Stefan, you.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Know, to be attached to her right now.

Speaker 10 (15:45):
So at the end of the day, it was a
messy situation probably, and she was like, all right, girl,
I'm in a better place now and I don't need
the drama.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
It was cute for the summer, but.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
People thought that Offset was then taking some shots at
this breakup because you know, the first thing he was
going to do would be that, and he is the
live that had people thinking.

Speaker 13 (16:01):
That, Yeah, I'm baby man.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
You can't get rid of me like counseling. You can't
get rid of the counselor.

Speaker 10 (16:07):
You know what I mean, all of my all of.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
My they know, no, they're still.

Speaker 7 (16:17):
Now.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
He then went on social media and said, my life
has nothing to do with anybody trying to bait me.
Annie Ben did this and I don't care love for
Annie trying to bait me. I can't go live now
because I guess they were trying to get him to
go live and he wasn't going to do it.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Well, we know it was about her, but I think
her method worked, you know what I mean? It was
you have to get his attention. And now he's been
crying for weeks.

Speaker 10 (16:36):
So at this point, if I'm Cardi B I won
you want me back and I've moved on from you,
you know, so I think Stefan served this purpose. Offset
cannot let her go honestly.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
All right, now, let's talk about some good news.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
Cynthia Arribo, who recently did an interview with Entertainment Weekly,
and she talked randomly about Cisco's song sound. But I
thought it was brilliant the way she expressed how amazingly
done these vocals by Cisco were for thong song, even
though it's unnecessary in a song about a thong.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
Here's what she said.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
The whole end section of this song is so unnecessary.
You have a key change, there's a praise break at
some point.

Speaker 10 (17:14):
Is this with his voice?

Speaker 13 (17:15):
It's ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
You don't need to sing like that, and he does.
Why do you need to do that?

Speaker 13 (17:23):
And this is going to go on for a full
minute or two. That's a brilliant vocal for a song
about a song.

Speaker 10 (17:31):
I like the way we listen. Isn't that the part
that we all know that's our favorite part of the song?

Speaker 12 (17:35):
Song?

Speaker 4 (17:36):
He is going crazy on him pa.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
All right, Well, here's what Cisco had to say on
Live as he responded to what Cynthia Rivo said.

Speaker 11 (17:43):
Man, much love to Cynthia Arrivo and for her to
shout me out with these accolades, I was both humbled
and pleasantly surprised. Cynthia, we love you here Cisco Live.
Thanks again for the shout out.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
It was really cute.

Speaker 13 (18:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Well, because she went on and on about this song,
like why do you need to do that?

Speaker 3 (18:05):
She loved it.

Speaker 10 (18:05):
Because, you know, sometimes you just think about how iconic
moments are that we probably don't realize.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Can you go back and you're like.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
This song is about a phone?

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (18:12):
All right, well that is your yet when we come back.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
We have under the radar stories that are flying under
the radar, but you definitely need to know about them.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
It's way up position in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar, all right?

Speaker 2 (18:24):
His way up with Angela Yee and I'm here with
my guy armand Wiggins. Are you ready for this? Under
the radar.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
I'm always ready for the under the radar.

Speaker 2 (18:32):
You know, we were off, so I want to make
sure we talk about what's really happening though, because this
is not so under the radar. But Donald Trump signed
that big, beautiful bill fourth of July. He couldn't wait
to do that. In this bill, this is actually going
to include tax cuts for the rich, increase spending on immigration,
enforcement and the military, and also a lot of cuts
in medicaid and helping people who really needed the most.

(18:54):
But it also increases the debt ceiling by five trillion dollars,
even though we were supposed to lowering the debt that
we have. Well, Elon Musk is fed up, and he,
by the way, is the world's richest person. He's worth
four hundred and five billion dollars according to Forbes. He
spent almost two hundred and ninety million dollars to help
Trump get elected, so that was a drop in the

(19:16):
bucket according to what he's worth. But Elon Musk then
announced that he's starting his own party, the America Party.
He announced this on July fifth, so right after this
mega bill gets signed, and he said, when it comes
to bankrupting our country, with waste and graft. We live
in a one party system, not a democracy.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
Today.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
The America Party is for him to give you back
your freedom? So what is this America Party? And look,
research has shown that third parties here has never really
been a thing.

Speaker 10 (19:42):
Yeah, I don't know if it's gonna do good. And like,
what what are we going to get out of that?
Like how is he gonna help us? Like what is
the draw to make us become a part of.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
That third party?

Speaker 2 (19:51):
And you know, Donald Trump's been making all kinds of
threats to report us. Ask him July first, if he
plans to deport Elon Musk. He said, I don't know.
We'll have to take a look, Like, sir, what.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
Are you doing?

Speaker 3 (20:01):
You knew this was going to be a bad breakup, And.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
So Elon Musk when people ask about the America Party,
this is some of the following stances. Reduced debt, responsible spending,
only modernized military with AI robotics, pro tech, accelerate to
win an AI less regulation across the board, but especially
in energy, free speeds, census policies everywhere, and he posted
his list. He doesn't have an actual policy plan yet.

(20:27):
Now Donald Trump, of course did not like this, and
he posted I'm setting to watch Elon Musko completely off
the rails, essentially becoming a train wreck. Over the past
five weeks, he even was to start a third political party,
despite the fact that they have never succeeded in the
United States.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
The system seems not designed for them.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
The one thing third parties are good for is the
creation of complete and total disruption and chaos. He said,
we have enough of that with the radical left Democrats.
It's a very long post, but this is probably one
of the worst breakups in history.

Speaker 10 (21:00):
So no, like, I don't know if I'm just jumping
to Elon Musks or third party.

Speaker 8 (21:04):
Like.

Speaker 10 (21:05):
He's the same guy that didn't want people to be
able to say, hey, I want more money, I need
more pay he was trying to get rid of the union.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
So I don't know.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
I will say this though, don't discount the power of money.
And also, just because it's never happened before, it doesn't
mean it can't happen now, right, So.

Speaker 3 (21:19):
Would you be a part of the third party? Elon?

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Oh, I don't know about that.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
I'm just saying I wouldn't I wouldn't count it out
though a lot of times that's when people really make
things happen when you count them out. And there's a
lot of first for Donald Trump too. If you think
about it, you know who's running the country. But anyway,
that is our under the radar. When we come back,
we have the Way Up mixed at the top of
the hour, and hold on to your seats. Oh Godwiggins
is here and we're gonna actually have like we're gonna

(21:45):
talk about it.

Speaker 10 (21:45):
We need a little oil. We need We're gonna slip
a slide, Yes, we oil. It's gonna get slippery up here. Angela.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
It's way up, just like the talk like they Angela
Jean like they Angela Jean.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Man, she's spilling it. This is yet way.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
It's way up. But Angela, Yeah, I'm here with our
mom Wigan. Ye Hey, hey, hey, hey, Dan, my producer.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
I'm gonna need you on this because we're gonna talk
Love Island first and yet and I know this is
your thing.

Speaker 4 (22:14):
I'm listen.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
I'm trying to get through it, but I just want
to say I have been. It's hard to watch all
thirty episodes. Yeah, So Sierra Ortega has left the show.
She left the Villa because of past social media posts
where she's using a racial slur, and those did surface online. Now,
when I first saw this, first thing I thought was, no,

(22:35):
she did not use the N word, right, But apparently
she said something else, and I feel like from the
post that I saw that it wasn't necessarily meant to
be hate folks. Now, what do you think, Dan? She said,
both taxes and for everyone, but I love it for me.
I'm incredibly expressive with my face. I catched myself frowning.
She said, I can also be a little and then

(22:57):
she used this word.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
I can say it upper context.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Ever, mind it rhymes with thinkye we to see there
you go? Okay, okay? When I laughed, smile. So I
love getting a mini brow lift. So a lot of
people don't know that the word chink is a slur,
but it's also a word like I remember ESPN kept
talking about Jeremy Lynn and saying chink in the armor,
but they thought it was It kind of alludes to

(23:23):
a racial slur and some people, I will say this
as a person who's half Chinese myself, people use that
word all the time to describe like their eyes looking Asian,
and so they use that a lot so I don't
feel like she said it in a way that was
meant to be hurtful, but it was a learning lesson
for her. So now she's exited the show, and her
parents posted that this has been one of the most

(23:45):
painful weeks of our lives, and they said she's been
getting threats, cruel messages, attacks on her family, her friends,
even her supporters.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
It's heartbreaking.

Speaker 10 (23:53):
Yeah, I mean, I just feel like, honestly, you can
tell the intent. The intent matters here, and I just
don't think that she thought it was a bad thing.
I feel like any one of us because they could
have easily fallen into saying that. I mean, I've probably
said that before, referring to like my eyes or you know,
people say that stuff when they're like smoking, and it
got you know, you had a little I'm scared to
say the word, but because you're thinking it's a bad thing.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
So, yeah, what do you think, Dan?

Speaker 6 (24:18):
I agree with herman, there was no like hateful intent there.
But my question to you is you, being half Chinese,
does that offend you when you hear it if it's
not intended to be harmful.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
No, But I also know you're not supposed to so
it makes me crims like right, but I also give
grace to I know people aren't you know, I know that,
but I feel like it's so used that people don't
realize it. People like having it as their name on
social media, like yeah, you know what I'm saying. And
then the other thing that people do all the time
is they refer to a person as oriental, and you're
not supposed to do that. It's supposed to be for

(24:49):
like an oriental rug or oriental furniture, but you can't.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
Say like, oh, yeah, she's Oriental.

Speaker 10 (24:55):
And I think what's kind of unfortunate, like when you
go on these super viral shows, like they dig things
from your past and it's like I didn't even meet
it like that. I was just you know, and now
all of a sudden, people are just trying to look
for things to cancel.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
You actually like her on there, so you know, but
we'll see how this all plays out.

Speaker 4 (25:11):
But I guess for all of y'all out.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
There, you know the way, Yeah, they were just like
they basically it was just a quick cut scene and
they just said that Sierra left the villa due to
personal reasons.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
That's a no addressing anything all.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
Right, Well, let's talk about other things now.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
Young Jack has ended his marriage over loyalty issues with
his wife. He said, when I close my eyes, this
is what I see. I'm tired of feeling like I
can't be human in a world full of humans. I
hate house doing just can just send it to my
wife and she instantly sides with them. Well, I'm done
with all this play play rhetoric. I've been one of
the most consistent people you'll ever meet, and I'm at
a point where I'm just done. Ps Now, I don't

(25:50):
want a celebration for walking away. And he said, I
try to give you my all, and you don't see
the true king and me, I pray you find happiness elsewhere.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
So what was she She's eating or something.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
I guess somebody sent something to her and she believed it.
And He's like, you can't just believe everything you see
on social media.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
It sounds like he taught her.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
He has had a history of cheating, though, but sometimes
that's hard to recover from. Black China and Derek Milano
have and did their engagements really stop?

Speaker 3 (26:17):
No?

Speaker 10 (26:17):
No, seriously already f no no really?

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Ill?

Speaker 3 (26:21):
I thought they were doing so good.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
I thought they were a thing when she was on Listserir,
but she wasn't planning to get a pre nup or anything.
She was like, we're going to be together forever. And
I guess, you know, they didn't even make it that
far shout out to Jordanie. I guess they just decided
to go their type of ways. But she did say
that it's God's guidance has shown us that this is
the right path for both of us as we continue
our journeys.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
So you know, I was rooting for them. I thought
they were doing.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
I love your surprise though.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
All right, well that is your yet when we come back,
ask ye eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
It's me and Arman here to give you any advice
you need help with eight hundred into fifty one fifty.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Call us up. Any question you have, ask ye is next?

Speaker 2 (27:04):
That's eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fiftybody.

Speaker 5 (27:07):
Sis, whether it's relationship with career advice, Angela's dropping facts?

Speaker 1 (27:11):
You should you should know.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
This is ask gee?

Speaker 4 (27:14):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Its way up at Angela? Yeah, and I'm here with
my guy are Mine Wiggins?

Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yes, it gets time.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
It's time to ask ye eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty any question.

Speaker 4 (27:24):
We got you.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
We got Chris on the line. What's up, Chris? What's
your question?

Speaker 8 (27:28):
So? I'm from Detroit, but I have this friend that
I've been knowing for a long time. I recently, you know,
started you know, focusing, you know, like painting all painting
my life and stuff, you know, for the better. But
every time it's I'm a wound, like my friend and stuff.
They always want to be spreading nasty things about me,
like you know, like bringing negative n into the tom me.

Speaker 4 (27:50):
You don't need to be around this person at all,
is what it feels like.

Speaker 10 (27:53):
I've been in situations too where I felt like, you know,
this person wasn't my friend, but I still endured or
still indoor. Maybe they would change, maybe we can grow,
you know, it's not there. Maybe it's me, like you know,
we're just going through something. But then time and time
and time and time again, they show you that they're
not really your friend, no matter what you do. So
sometimes it's not really you, it's them. It's in them.

(28:15):
And once a person shows you who they are, it's
up to you to then move forward because then at
some point it stops being them and then it starts
being you.

Speaker 8 (28:23):
Yeah, I'm learning because I'm eighteen, I'm back to be nineteen.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Okay, so exciting.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
Oh yeah, you're young.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
See these are important life lessons.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
And I want to say that sometimes we feel a
certain loyalty to somebody because we've known them for whatever
period of time, or maybe they helped you with something
at some point, maybe they have information about you that
you're like, ooh, I don't want nobody to know this,
but I want to say, you are your own best friend.
And if you are putting somebody else above you, then

(28:53):
you have to realize if somebody is making you feel
a way when you leave them, if somebody is talking
bad about you, if you feel like I can't even
tell this person my good news because they're gonna hate
on it, if you feel like I have to hide things,
then that is not a person who is your friend. Now,
don't blame yourself for that. A lot of times people
have their own issues, their own demons, that has nothing

(29:15):
to do with you.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
It is totally their own issues.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
They're not happy with their life, so a lot of
times they try to bring you down. How they say
misery loves company. Well, they're going to try to put
all of that negativity on you too, because they don't
want to be alone and miserable. They want you to
be miserable with them. And that's when you just have
to cut those ties and be like, I'm gonna move
on to better things in my life. You rate there,
right or all right? And go listen to that new Drake. Okay, No,

(29:41):
don't miss.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Chris. I wish you good luck because that's not easy.

Speaker 10 (29:48):
You're good luck and you're still Napgod, you're still young.
So yeah, unfortunately this is probably gonna happen a few
more times.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Yeah, you're gonna learn your lesson over and over again.
But you know what, it's on you to know when
enough is enough? Oh it do be and all that though, arman.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
Let's get to you.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Okay, So I want to talk about what happened when
we come back with this whole Diddy trial.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
There was a viral clip of you.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
There was an oil party and it was framed as
you being a Ditty supporter. Okay, so I want to
find out everything behind the scenes. When we come back.
You are going to discuss this. This is like the
first time. We're really gonna talk about everything. But I
also know going viral could be tough when it's for
something like this, So we'll talk.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
About all of that. Okay, I'm ready. It's way up.
There's more to imagine when you listen, and I beg
we about to do this.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
One of lingos to train this women in radio audio.
And we're talking about Angela Yee. You're way up with
Angela Yee. Please believe that.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Oh it's time. It's way up with Angela Yee. And
now we got Urman Wiggins here.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
I'm slipping in the hot seat.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
Yes you are.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
And so you've been covering this Diddy trial from the beginning,
from day one, and so finally everything came to a close.
And I do want to point out that most recently
his lawyers said that he got a standing ovation when
he returned into.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
A federal lockup after his conviction.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
All right, he got He did get convicted on prostitution
related charge, just two of those and those face up
to ten years each. Right, Yes, okay, So tell me everything, like,
just summarize me what this experience was like for you
and also just the newfound Well you've already had a
lot of attention and a lot of viral moments, but
this was like a consistent daily like I'm out here.

Speaker 3 (31:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (31:31):
So for me, when I first started, when the lawsuit
first happened with Cassie, I told myself, I'm going to
New York to cover this case. I didn't know when
it was going to happen, when it was gonna start,
but I started preparing to be available to cover this case.
And so when the opportunity presented itself, I figured out
the timing and everything. I booked my Airbnb, saved my money,

(31:53):
and I flew down here, booked it for two months,
and I was like, whatever happens with this is just
gonna happen. And I just was gonna I was saying,
I'm gonna be very consistent, and you know, it took off.
You know, a lot of people like the way that
I delivered it. I wanted to be a little bit
different than some of the other people that were reporting
on it because it was a heavy and dark case.
So I added a little satire, little comedy to it,

(32:14):
a little fun to it, because it was like, come on,
some of this stuff is just outrageous, you know, and
it's like, are we serious he was really doing all
of this stuff.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
And there was a lot of things that people were like,
why are they showing this because it looks like on
his side.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Right.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
As far as the defense, they were trying to say, Look,
he may have been a terrible boyfriend. Yes he was
domestic abuse for sure, but you know he's a swinger,
But was he is this a rico?

Speaker 4 (32:38):
And ultimately prosecution didn't prove that.

Speaker 10 (32:41):
They didn't prove that, you know, And so you know,
the case has been great. You know, we've done We've
met you, done this show. We've done plenty other shows TMC,
Nancy Grace, We've done you know, a lot of news
nation work too.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
Like I had a lot of friends.

Speaker 10 (32:56):
Made a lot of friends, made a lot of like connections.
It's been a great time, you know, made money. Like
I don't regret the experience. I had a blast doing it.
And you know, I learned a lot about the legal.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
System too, right, Like, tell me something you learned about
the legal system.

Speaker 10 (33:10):
The fact that you know, you have to really prove
like when you get into these cases, like you have
to prove what the reco is, Like the burden is
really on the prosecution and a lot of times people
feel like the federal government, you know, they just win cases,
and they don't just win cases just because they bring
a case upon you. You could actually lose a case. And
it doesn't matter if you know deep down a person
is guilty. If they can't prove it, that person can

(33:32):
walk reasonable doubt, reasonable doubt for sure.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Now, according to Diddy's lawyer, one of his attorneys, he
said to the Associated Press that when he got that
standing ovation, it was because people felt like.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
Who beats the government?

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Yeah, and so they looked at it kind of like
he was a hero in that situation.

Speaker 10 (33:53):
Well, some people feel like, you know, it's the money,
you know, some people feel like he's a lot of money.
He got a lot of money. That's why he was
able to do it. But let's just be honest. He
had a star studded lineup of attorneys.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
So the only thing now is Bill, what do you
think is going to happen? Do you think that he'll
be released on bail? And what's the update on that.

Speaker 10 (34:09):
I don't think he's going to be released because the
judge made it very clear. Listen, up until this point,
let's be clear, you have to show that you have
a proven track record of being a good citizen. You're
not going to be doing drugs, You're not going to
be violent, and you can't even prove that because up
until the day that you were arrested on most you
were still beating on women. So up until what June

(34:31):
twenty twenty four, he got into that fight with Jane Doe,
and so the judge is saying, Hey, you're still very
violent and you were under federal investigation, so you haven't
really changed much. So why do you think we're going
to let you out on bill? You could still be
a detriment to society and people could be fearful.

Speaker 2 (34:46):
Well, Mom, when we come back, we'll talk more about that,
and then I want to talk about you, okay.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
And there was this.

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Baby oil moment that happened when the announcement was made
that the rego did not stick.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
Yes, there is an oil moment outside.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
So I want to dig into where that moment came
from because I know a lot of people who follow
you faithfully understood what that meant. But to the outside
world it looked like you were a Diddy supporter. So
we'll talk about that when we come back.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
It's way up.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
You want to know my name? Way up with Angela Yo.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
It's way up with Angela yee and ar mind waiting
to say, let's get it right into it.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
Okay, do it?

Speaker 4 (35:25):
This is the tea right here. Okay. So the Diddy trial,
you were covering it all along? How long was that?
Eight weeks?

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Yes, eight weeks?

Speaker 2 (35:33):
And then when the announcement was made that he was
clear of the most serious charges sex trafficking and rocketearing,
he was found guilty of two counts of engaging and
transportation for prostitution. You were outside with oil poured on you.
Now talk to me about this, Angela. You know what,
I'll try to say it with a straight face because
we got to be serious of here. But dude, but

(35:56):
I tell you, I wish I would have never done that,
you know what I mean, because it got so blown
out of proportion.

Speaker 10 (36:02):
But to be honest with you, that was not my intention.
Anybody that knows me knows I was not a ditty
supporter in that way. I was just here for the facts, okay.
But to make a long story short, I had always
been doing kind of comedy with my reporting of the case. Yeah,
more oil, more oil. I even have a more oil
fund on my platform. They would send me money for

(36:23):
more oil, which means it would keep me here covering
the case. And so in that moment, I was just thinking,
you know what, today is the last day. Let's do
some more oil live with the people here just on
my you know, on YouTube and working out and I'm
like yeah.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
You know.

Speaker 10 (36:40):
So I was like, let's just do it. We're having
a good time. We're on Verdict Watch. So that's all
that was. So I ended up A guy was like, well,
guess what. I have baby old and I have astro live.
I said, are you kidding me?

Speaker 13 (36:51):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (36:52):
So I was like, oh my god, this is great.
Why maybe he was thinking of the faith. It was
divine timing because I was literally told me.

Speaker 10 (37:00):
I said, listen, I'm gonna go to the store and
buy some baby oil. He was like no, I got
it right here, and I got astraglight. So I was like, okay,
look just pour the oil on me. We're just gonna,
you know, do a little more oil for the people.
So chow, we went and did the more oil and
he was throwing the oil on me and I was
screwing more oil, more oil, more oil, And I thought
nothing of it, and less than thirty minutes later.

Speaker 2 (37:23):
It was vile everywhere, everywhere, Diddy supporters flinging oil, having
a great time whatever.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
The fire marshals come out. They're gating everything up.

Speaker 10 (37:34):
They got the big trucks and tanks because now it's
being said that Diddy supporters are slinging baby oil. Mind you,
that baby oil was the travel size. It was a
few squirts. I rubbed them down. It really wasn't that serious.
But to be honest with you, I did have to
take accountability because the timing wasn't correct.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Angela.

Speaker 10 (37:53):
It just wasn't the timing. But my true people, my
fans that know, they knew that. You know, it was
a part of an inside Joe right.

Speaker 2 (38:00):
Maybe if that was on your YouTube and not outside
the courthouse, yeah, where people are familiar with you, follow you,
then that's different. But now it looked like Didny supporters,
you know, it's celebrating with the oil party, and it
did look crazy.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
But I also know you, So I also know.

Speaker 2 (38:16):
How you've been covering a trial, and I know your
sense of humor, and so I think again, like you said,
taking out of contest, and you put up a post
about that how this could have been hurtful because of
the optics, and you did apologize to anyone who was
impacted or disappointed, but you said you are going to
move with greater care and remain committed.

Speaker 10 (38:35):
And I sincerely meant that apology because I know my
intent wasn't that. But I know that some people could
have been not only hurt but also disappointed because they
read the headline and felt a way. And my thing is,
if I'm never in my ego too far to say, hey,
if I hurt my people, then let me you know.
If I disappointed you anyway, that was not my intent.
So I really do apologize for that.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
Well, let me tell you something, if you ever go
on Love Island, they're gonna pull this clip up and you.

Speaker 4 (38:57):
Are going to get kicked off that show.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
I'm definitely so bad.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
Well, I appreciate you for.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Clearing that up though, and again, like I was, like
our mind, but I also know you, and I know
your whole history, and I know how you've been covering
this and how hard you've been working. So it is
crazy for this to feel like it overshadowed.

Speaker 10 (39:13):
And it was disheartening because it seemed like there were
so many people that wanted to see this moment happen, like.

Speaker 3 (39:19):
Oh, he's a failure.

Speaker 10 (39:20):
You know, he's gonna burn Bridges, he self sabotage, And
it was just kind of like, dude, you know, all
the work that I was doing like that, the publications
didn't post any of that. I've been killing this trial,
but the one time that it could be deemed controversial,
they took it and slapped the headline on it and
made it a big deal. But what I learned is
I can't be that loose and I have to control
my narrative.

Speaker 2 (39:38):
So media, okay, well that is our mind. Wiggins, guys,
and when we come back, this is your show. You
have the last word.

Speaker 5 (39:45):

the last word.

and responders and rescuers down in Texas. I know it's
extremely hard time for everyone, and I just want them
to know that they're in our hearts and our prayers.
