Is what you're all being waiting, folks.

Speaker 3 (00:03):
Oh, oh, you're tapped in the way up with Angela
ye Hey?

Speaker 4 (00:08):
What's up this way up with Angela Yee?

Speaker 5 (00:10):
If I'm sounding a little shaky, it's because I'm in
Chicago right now.

Speaker 4 (00:13):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (00:14):
I came in town yesterday for my girls, Tella H's
big birthday celebration. I think this is the third Yes,
this is the third year in a row that I've
been in Chicago for Chella's birthday.

Speaker 4 (00:24):
So shout out to everybody who came out last night.

Speaker 5 (00:27):
I'm sure we'll be discussing that more in about last night.
But when we come back, let's start to show off
with some love and some positivity. I'm in the great
city of Chicago, so call us up. Eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty. Let us know who you
want to shine a light on. It's way y'all.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Turn your lights on, y'all, light it spreading love to
those who are doing greatness.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
The light on them, Shine a light on them. It's
time to shine a.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Light on what's up his way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (00:58):
And it's time to shine light and today, I want
to shine a light on somebody who I love his music.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
He's a cool person.

Speaker 5 (01:06):
That would be Sean Paul Now I heard recently announced
that he's going to be performing.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
At jingle Ball in Boston.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
That's This year also happens to be the twentieth anniversary
of the Trinity album that was released in September of
two thousand and five, and if you think about it,
at that time, Seanpaul had the hits like We Be Burning.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Temperature, Give It Up to Me.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
They all debuted at number one on the Billboard Reggae
Album's Chart, And shout out to him because Shampaul has
been doing the thing for probably like almost thirty years now.
All right, well, right now he has a new single
out called Ginger, But shout out to Chanpaul now Flores,
who do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 6 (01:46):
Well, I want to shine a light on real quick.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Two sets of people.

Speaker 6 (01:50):
The first set is every fourth attailant like myself out there,
who was you know, taking their time out to health
the kids and trying to even fix the fourth the
care system because it's so outrageous.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
And crazy, and you know.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
It's really hard to try to get these kids.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Good life.

Speaker 6 (02:08):
My second one is for my younger brother, Justin.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
He just graduated you with.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
His Masters and social work, and he's just literally the
first college graduates like in the family.

Speaker 7 (02:20):
So I'm just very proud of him.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
And he's like giving me the inspiration that I need
to start at my own thing with the force and
care system.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Okay, I like it.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
It's all in the family, y'all all doing your public
service and your duty. Yes, I appreciate you so much.
Thank you for Colin. I'm looking forward for you getting
everything started.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
He ever, good day you too. Well.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
That was Shina Light eight hundred and two ninety two
fifty one fifty just in case you couldn't get through,
you could always leave a message in China Light that way.
And when we come back, we have your ye tea
and let's talk about divorce being the best thing that
ever happened to j LO will tell you what you
have to say about divorcing Ben Affleck.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
It's way up and she's spilling it.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Oh, this is yeaty way off.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (03:05):
His way up with Angela yee, and it's time for
you or yeat. So Jennifer Lopez is sharing her gratitude
for her ex husband Ben Affleck after their divorce, and
she also talked about him financing her movie Kiss of
the Spider Woman.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Here's what she had to say on CBS Sunday Morning.

Speaker 8 (03:21):
Ben Affleck is also one of the producers. The movie
wouldn't have been made if it wasn't for him and
Artist Equity. They financed it. I told him that this
was a role I was born to play and I
wanted to do it, and he was like, Okay, it
was like the best in the worst of times. But
you get through it and you know, it was the
best thing that ever happened to me because it helped
me grow in a way that I needed to grow.
I'm a different person now than I was last year.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
I do want to say that the headlines for these
j low stories from that interview are very misleading. It
says Jennifer Lopez here is best thing to ever happen
amid Ben affleck divorce. It feels like she's talking crazy
about him, but in fact, she's showing her gratitude for
him working with her and how she grew from that experience.
All right, now, another persons showing gratitude is Big Daddy Kane.

(04:05):
He was recently on Clubs Chase and he talked about
two people that convinced him to do music again and
gave one of them the credit for being the goat.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Alla Lokolja and Q Tip convinced me to do new music.
Excuse me, I had ll loan about a year ago.
Ll soa, he gonna be able to stage like mut Jagger,
Al say he gonna be out there like seventy eighty.
I think he can do it. That that title the Goat,
I think he deserves it and he wears it well.
I don't see nobody else that can actually say that.
They've charted for five decades.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
And fifty cent is excited about his fifty million dollar
Louisiana entertainment hub that's in shreport. The Shereport City Council
approved a downtown economic development that he is spareheading. They
approved this unanimously after fifty G unit Studio started purchasing
properties in the downtown area, totaling over two point four
million dollars. He also has a thirty year lease agreement

(04:58):
for Sefsports Millennium Studios that's going to become a state
of the art sports and Entertainment venue. So shout out
to him for that. You know how much says bring
into the city. I've been there one time and I
say that the Horse Shoe Casino. All right, well that
is your yee tea. And when we come back, we
have about last night. Y'all know, I'm in Chicago right now,
and when I tell you last night, I can't believe

(05:19):
I even made it in today. We had a time
last night. I'm gonna tell you all about it. Shout
out to my girl Chella H.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
It's way up.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
So about last night, Yes, Pisa, I went down.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Well what's up?

Speaker 5 (05:35):
His way up at Angela Yee and I am here
live from Chicago.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Now.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
I want to say about last night. A lot of
things were happening on social media. I was trying to
keep up. So I'm gonna keep y'all updated on what's
going on with Nicki Minaj, Riccardi B, with JT stepping in,
I spice all of that. But in the spirit of unity,
I'm in Chicago. It's my girl, Chella H's birthday party.
It was at CHEMISTRYM I was outside and I want

(05:58):
to say, Chella, that is my girl.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
She is so entertaining.

Speaker 5 (06:02):
So I really came out here and flew myself out
here for her birthday party so that I could host
and shout out to justinic. She was on the mic,
and she actually crazy funny comedian. She's on Miss Pat Show,
so she was actually doing some stand up comedy, and
y'all know I'm such a huge fan of stand up comedy,
So I just want to shout out everybody.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Who was outside last night celebrating life.

Speaker 5 (06:22):
One thing about Schella is when she get to drinking,
she not getting off that mic. So I kept being like, girl,
let the music play a little bit, but she was
literally shouting out every single person in the room. She
had people there that she went to kindergarten with. And
how many people listening could say that they still friends
with people that they went to kindergarten with. I think
that is absolutely amazing. So, you know, good vibes. And

(06:44):
then after that, I went back to my room, passed out,
got up this morning, came out here to go do
way up with Angelaye with you guys. But we are
definitely this morning and this afternoon gonna talk about what's
been going on on social media, and I want to
say I'm watching, like everybody, going back and forth, all
of the arguments, messages getting deleted, people's numbers, the comparisons,

(07:08):
leaked phone calls. One thing I've been seeing is these
leaked conversations. If anything I learned from all of this
is do not be talking about nothing on the phone.
That's all I got to say. Between this happening with
Young Thug now Cardi b the call that she made allegedly,
because that audio, we still got to say allegedly is
being put out there. So you know, we don't know

(07:29):
when that alleged phone call was from, but we'll get
into it. We're not gonna play it because I'm not
trying to get sued because we don't know what's real
and what's not.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
But we all gonna talk about it.

Speaker 5 (07:39):
And I want to say, Nicki, min Naj and cardibeven
beefing for so long, if wife and Luci and Young
Thug squash it, maybe they can too. But anyway, that
is about last night, and when we come back, let's
talk a little bit about what's going on, you know what.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Also leave
your messages for last word. I would love to hear
what you guys have to say. I see a lot

(08:00):
of people putting up poles team Nicki, team Carti, you know,
Team I, Spice, Team JT, all of that, but we
definitely want to hear from you.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
That's eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty is
way up. Here we go again.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Cool, This is way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
What's up is way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
And as we stated, just a moment ago, we were
talking about Nicki Minaj versus Cardi B. The two of them,
it feels like have never gotten along. They had this
long standing feud. Now that Cardi B has put out
her album, you know, it feels like things have been
reignited on social media now. Nicki Minaj tweeted to every enabler,
never provoke a writer while they're writing. You joined the

(08:38):
game as a willing participant. Don't try to back out
now three twenty seven, twenty six, that's when her album's
coming out.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
And she also went on to talk about the price.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
The promo price for am I the Drama That's Carti's
album four ninety nine was the promo price. So she
has some things to say about that again and then
she also mocked Cardi B's Magnet song and the a
abcd efg. She said, abcd efg sergery to look like me,
tell the rat and tell Jay z Rico fraud and perjury. She's,

(09:09):
you know, just going on social media posting things about
Cardi B. Cardi B, of course does not take that
sitting down. The two of them have been responding, Cardi
B to say some things back, talking about Nicki Minaja's brother,
talking about her man and then she said, while you
keep bringing up my album, it's not the gag that
you think it is. You've been in the game like
sixteen years. You need to compare yourself to your peers

(09:31):
that started around your time. Rihanna Tail, the Swift Drake,
those are the numbers you need to be competing with,
and you can't because you're doing lower than all of them.
I was in high school when you came out, What
the f is you comparing yourself to me? For so yes,
it went on. It continued on and on and on
with them posting memes of each other. I Spice kind
of put up a post with a little emoji that

(09:55):
was like kind of laughing and covering her mouth. And
then JT also jumped in and said, eloa that be
home ugly and mad, no celebration. I would have been
break dancing right now if I was number one. But
she knows she lied in. They're talking about her kind
of inflating the numbers. But in the midst of all
of this, some alleged audio leaked of Cardi B screaming
at Ice Spic's manager. This is all alleged, but we'll

(10:16):
play a little snippet of it right here.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
What he said, why you want to add dumb?

Speaker 2 (10:21):
I really don't know. You don't know.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
I'm gonna show y'all I'm not little.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
I'm gonna I'm gonna get fire feet up by.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Right now, right now? Right? Is that?

Speaker 5 (10:40):
And then when we come back in your yet, we'll
play a little piece of this alleged Ice Spice this
song called pretty Privilege, and people are saying that she's
going at Cardi B and stunner. Sandy definitely want to
hear from you, guys. Eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty How are we gonna clean all of this up?

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Guys? All right? Eight hundred two nine two fifty one
It's way up shore she's.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
About to blow the lid ab off this spot. Let's
get it. Oh yeah, angelus feeling that ye te come
and get the tea.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (11:08):
Its way up with Angela yee, and it's time for
your yet. Now you know we've been talking about this
alleged audio leak of Cardi b U talking allegedly to
Ice Spice's manager James Well. Now, Ice Spice has teased
a new dish track called Pretty Privilege.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
And here's what that sounds like.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
It's core pretty Privileged. That's the perkin.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
I can't help it, I'll clirt.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
We were trying to see if this audio, if it's
you know, authentic and leaked.

Speaker 4 (11:34):
Where did it come from?

Speaker 5 (11:36):
I feel like it had to come from Ice Spices
side of things, because I don't think Cardi would want
that audio to be out. Well, in the midst of
all this, you know a lot of us some strays
on this alleged leak audio. But on the flip side
of things, it looks like she has finally confirmed her
relationship that we all know about with twenty one Savage.
And here's what happens when TMZ rolled up on her.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
So are you tired of people ask about you know,
who is twenty one, So you're not trying to hear
about twenty one.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
My man, my man, my man. I'm gonna tell you
this too.

Speaker 5 (12:10):
There was this study about men and men say that
physical affection from their partner is the only thing that
helps them manage stress and feel happy in life. Well,
it feels like Latto's happy in life no matter what
because of her Man, her man, her man. And another
person who was mentioned was MEGANE.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
Stallion.

Speaker 5 (12:27):
In that audio, well, Clay Thompson was being questioned or
they tried to question him about his relationship with Megan
Thee Stallion.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
And here is how he deflected that question.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
How have you balanced this summer for you and more poorly,
how is your relationship made you better as a man
on and off the floor, and how that's going to
move forward for you. As far as my relationship with
like MEGANE. Stallion, I'm not going to talk about that,
but I will say that every summer doesn't change for me.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Clay Thompson Megan Stallion, we clearly have seen the two
of them together, but he is not going to talk
about that. All right, Well, that is your yet and
we are still taking your calls. We're talking about all
of this drama between Nicki Minaj and Cardi b am
I the drama. You know, Cardi B's album went double
platinum already and Nicki Minaj shout out to Papa Bear

(13:17):
it's his birthday today. But the two of them have
been going back and forth on social media. And my
question is, how do you see this getting resolved or
do you see this getting resolved? Eight hundred two nine
fifty B are gonna take your calls and play him
later when we come back. We have under the radar.
These are the stories that are not necessarily in the headlines.
They're flying under the radar, but you definitely need to

(13:38):
know about them.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
Imagine you get laid.

Speaker 5 (13:41):
Off from your job and then you turn getting laid
off into a business.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
We'll tell you how that happens. It's way up.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Take the news. News. This in the news that relates
to you. These stories are flying under the radar. What's
up this way?

Speaker 5 (13:54):
Ye put angela Yeah, and it's time for your under
the radar stories now. Donald Trump put up a truth
social post yesterday and he is planning to impose a
one hundred percent tariff on any and all movies that
are made outside of the United States, so this will
be not just goods but services.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
Now.

Speaker 5 (14:11):
Initially he threatened that tariff on foreign produced movies. In May,
he said that other countries are for tax incentives that
have drawn filmmakers of broad facts. But now he's singling
out California, saying the state has been particularly hard hit.
Hollywood was caught off guard when Trump first previewed this
tariff in May. It's going to be interesting to see
how this can even potentially happen and what that's going

(14:34):
to mean for people who want to film in the
United States, because people already are not coming here and
tourism is are already down all right. Speaking of which,
one woman, Melanie Aaron Kranz, actually lost her job over
Zoom and guess what she did now, built her own
company called laid Off. It's a hub for people who
are getting laid off, and it's a thriving community of

(14:55):
people who have experienced what has come to become like
a rite of passage right now. She built this community
to help destigmatize her own layoff experience and show that
everybody in every industry is vulnerable to job loss and
that is a fact when you get laid off, because
trust me, I know, first you feel like embarrassed, you
feel a shame, you get a little bit worried, you
get scared. But knowing that there's other people that have

(15:16):
gone through similar experiences and that are part of this
layoff club.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Could actually be very empowering.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
So, you know, shout out to her for having an
experience like getting laid off to creating a platform called
laid off. All right, those you're under the radar stories
Now later on, we do have the way up mix
at the top of the hour. Plus of course we
got more yet we got aske Ye and everything else.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
It's way up to say in the rooms from industry
shame to all of gosp out Angela's speeling that.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yeet, what's up?

Speaker 5 (15:48):
Its way up with Angela yee, and it's time for
your ee t. So, federal prosecutors want Diddy to get
more than eleven years that's eleven years and three months
in prison for all of the convictions that he has
on prostitution related charges, and they are going to give
him his sentence on Friday. So it's going to be
interesting to see how this happens. According to prosecutors, Diddy's

(16:11):
crimes are serious and there are similar cases that have
led to sentences of more than ten years. They also
said that he has tried to recast decades of abuse
as a mutually toxic relationship.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Now.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
In addition to this, Cassie also wrote a letter to
the judge and she said victims and survivors will never
be safe. She said, although I can hope for justice
and accountability, I have come to not trust anything. I
hope that your decision considers the truths at hand that
the jury failed to see. She also goes on to
talk about events being degrading and disgusting. She was left

(16:44):
with infections, illnesses, and days of physical and emotional exhaustion
before he demanded it all again. Sex acts became my
full time job, used as the only way to stay
in his good graces. And she goes on to talk
about did he grooming her into performing repeated sex and
vicious beatings that she took from him like the one
that you saw on that videotape. She said she still

(17:06):
has nightmares and flashbacks on a regular everyday basis, so
she does want the judge to take that into consideration.
But remember the judge also got some character witness letters
from people on Diddy's behalf as well, and Snoop Dogg
is going to be returning to NBC for the twenty
twenty six Winter Olympics coverage. People really enjoyed him covering
the Olympics before, so he's gonna explore northern Italy from

(17:29):
the vibrant streets of Milan to the breathtaking Dolomites, providing
his unique perspective to viewers during NBC Universal's Winter Olympic
primetime coverage.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
So he also confirmed it as well.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
He said he's excited to be back with his man,
his main man, Mike Tarico for the twenty twenty six
Winter Olympics, so shout out to him for that. And lastly,
Whiz Khalifa said he's done drinking alcohol, but I bet
he's not done smoking. He said, I quit drinking before
and now I can say again that there will be
absolutely no alcohol entering my body again. So he said

(18:02):
it's not that much fun for him. All he does
his talk ish and pass out on the couch with
all his clothes on. I'm good enough?

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Is enough?

Speaker 5 (18:08):
Funny thing is? I said the same thing this morning?
And I'll be back all right, Well that is your
yet and when we come back, ask ye eight.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
Hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty is a number.
Call us up.

Speaker 5 (18:19):
Any question you have, I'm here to help you out again.
That's eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
Ask E is next.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Okay, everybody six with its relationship for career advice, Angela's
dropping facts.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Should you should know? This is ask ee?

Speaker 4 (18:33):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (18:33):
His way up at Angela? Yee, and it's time for
ask ye. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty
is a number. Any question you have, I'm here to
help and we got Stephan on the line. What's up, Stefanel?

Speaker 6 (18:44):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (18:45):
I'm good?

Speaker 4 (18:45):
What is your question for? Ask ye?

Speaker 1 (18:48):
So if my girlfriend went to lunch with another coworker
male co worker, but hit it from me and then
I brought it up there said, ain't no problem, just
let me know when you guys go, but then cat
time from me? What should I think about that?

Speaker 4 (19:02):
That's her work husband.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
That's her work husband, right?

Speaker 5 (19:05):
But okay, so I just need a little more details.
How did you find out.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Text were getting deleted? And then that let it Like
she was like, oh, I left my wallet in his.

Speaker 5 (19:15):
Car, Stefan, what is going on? You tell me? Just
being a logical person.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Everything leads to one answer.

Speaker 5 (19:23):
Obviously, let's just say buy some crazy crazy out there
like that.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
She's not doing anything.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
The fact that she's hiding things from you, it's equivalent
to lying.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Right because you brought it up. You were already let
her know that about that.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
You just let me know when this is happening, and
she hasn't, and she continues to hide it from you.
So that alone is enough to be a red flag.
But then on top of that, why is she hiding
it from you? What's her reason when she says she
doesn't tell you?

Speaker 1 (19:53):
When she says she doesn't tell me, is oh, I
feel like you're gonna tell me that it's not a
big deal. But I think you're gonna still make it
a big deal in your mind, like you're still gonna
be mad about it.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
Well, she'd made it.

Speaker 5 (20:05):
She's kind of made it a big deal because now
it's a big deal because she's hiding it.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Yeah, exactly. And I was like, listen, I told you,
just let me know. It's not a big deal. It's
a coworker. You used to go to lunch like you know,
coworkers go to lunch all the time. It's normal. But
the fact that even after I told you to tell
me that, you're still not telling me, that's the red
flag I feel it.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
It's fine, don't act like it's not a big deal,
because it is, and that's why she's not telling you.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
But that's disrespectful.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
I think a good rule of thumb in a relationship
is if you're doing something that you know the other
person wouldn't like or that you have to hide it
from them, you shouldn't be doing it. It's not like
it's a group setting. Everyone's going, but she can't go.
She's having one on one lunches that she's hiding from
you with her coworker.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
What a male coworker exactly.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
So you know what it is.

Speaker 5 (20:53):
And if she's not gonna stop doing that, that's a
choice that she makes. And then you have to figure
out what you need to do, because now the ball
in your court. Clearly she's been doing this, she's not stopping.
You've told her about it, you she's still doing it. Now,
what are you going to do?

Speaker 7 (21:06):
All Right?

Speaker 1 (21:07):
I appreciate it Angelae.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
All right, Stefan, well, thank you for calling.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Thank you. Enjoy your day, right.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
All right? You two, all right?

Speaker 5 (21:15):
Well that was ask ye eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you could
leave a message for last word. And when we come back,
let's talk about this Nicki Minaj and Cardi B Beef.
I want to see, like, are there any fixers out there?
How do you see this beef coming to an end?
How do you fix this? What do you think needs
to happen? Eight hundred two nine two fifty one.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
Fifty Call us up. It's way up, yea, let's.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Go turn me up.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
Here we go up again.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
This is way up with Angela Yee?

Speaker 4 (21:43):
What's up? Is way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
And earlier we were talking about in Ye T Cardi
B versus Nicki Minaj. I feel like that's what everybody's
talking about right now. And there's a lot of things
happening on the circumference of that. We've seen JT way in,
We've seen Ice Spice, We've seen a lot of when
Megan thee Stallion got mentioned in the midst of all this.
But I want to ask you guys, what do you

(22:07):
think needs to happen for this to come to an end?
Or how do you see this ending? Or do you
see it ending? We have Brianna on the line. Hey,
we're talking about Carti being and Nicki Minaj. What are
your thoughts? How is this all gonna like play out?

Speaker 6 (22:21):
I think that eventually they're gonna squash it, of course,
because nobody is like they're not gonna be forever ever ever.
But my thing is these fand pages are so toxic
and discussing because all they do is just stood up
here and row these people up.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
They can't even she can't even celebrate the success of
her album in.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Her fil.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
You're right about that though, because look at how successful
both of them have been, Like the fact that you know,
Carti can't even celebrate her album properly. And then Nicki
Minaja's son, his birthday is actually today, and it's like,
you know what I'm saying, They here beef and when
they got great amazing things happening in life.

Speaker 6 (23:03):
These talls are so sad.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
It's just like so sad.

Speaker 5 (23:07):
That's why sometimes man, I just be ignoring what's going
on on social media and people say I don't even
respond to stuff because I'm like, I'm not about to
get sucked into this.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
Well, thank you Brianna for colling. That's an interesting point
that she brings up.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
Dan, what do you think about as people behind the
scenes and all of this year, the producer for this
show and for lip Service, what do you think has
to happen for this to end?

Speaker 7 (23:29):
They just got to get in the room together and
talk it out.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
I feel like it's not going to be a while
until we get there.

Speaker 7 (23:34):
But I also think they're going to like reach a
certain point where they're like, this is ridiculous.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
But what do you think I understand that getting in
the room. I think somebody else is gonna have to
kind of put this together. And I don't know how
many people have tried behind the scenes to make this happen,
but I think it's got to be like people got
to have conversations with each other behind the scenes and
then perhaps bring the two of them together. I kind
of like, how, you know, even with wife and Luci

(23:59):
and Young Thug they ended up doing music on each
other's albums, because that could be such a huge, huge deal,
but it's egos. I do feel like a lot of
this has to do with egos. I will say, it's
not like any blood has been shed, So hopefully this
is a situation that can be rectified. But I do
think that this living online and paying attention to what
people are saying, that's what's always going to hurt. So

(24:19):
I feel like the Barbs and Bardigang got a chill.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
There have been way more dangerous beefs.

Speaker 5 (24:25):
That have been settled because at the end of the day,
none of this is really a big deal.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
None of it all right, Well, you guys, this is
your show.

Speaker 5 (24:32):
When we come back, y'all have the last word eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
Take up the phone, Tapian, it gets your voice heard.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
What the word is the last word? On Way Up
with Angela? Ye?

Speaker 4 (24:45):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (24:46):
It's way up with Angela yee. And I'm in Chicago, y'all,
but I'm about to come back to New York. I
wish I could stay here a little longer, but I
got things to do. But anyway, I want to thank
everybody for participating and calling in.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
How do y'all fix this?

Speaker 5 (24:59):
Listen, I'm all for like beef on records, disc tracks
all of that. We all talk about the spirit of competition,
but I definitely feel like this is just affecting too
many different things. It's like, can I listen to all
the girls music and enjoy it? But anyway, you know,
thank y'all for weighing in on that. I shout out
to my girl Chella. That's why I'm in Chicago for
her birthday. Her birthday celebration that was at Chemistry last night.

(25:22):
Had a great time.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
I love it here.

Speaker 5 (25:24):
Y'all treat me so good and this is your show,
so you have the last word.

Speaker 7 (25:28):
Carmeta Nashville, Tennessee.

Speaker 6 (25:31):
I think they just need to do a song together.
I mean, they're both good female rap artists. They're the
best that really I think is out there.

Speaker 7 (25:39):
That's all yo. I want to sign a life to
my wife, Lolia Brewer. She's doing really big with her
self care line Allen Nicole dot org. If you check
that out there where you appreciate it. But I really
want to sign a light artists. You never gave up
to stand into it.

Speaker 3 (25:53):

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
