Speaker 2 (01:28):
But my producer, Dan, you wanted to shine a light
on somebody? Yes, I do.

Speaker 7 (01:31):
Thank you for the floor.

I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
She gave a great speech too.

Speaker 7 (01:42):
She did. She was nervous for it, but she crushed it.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah, she did a great job. She crushed it. It
was a tear jerker. We danced Celine Dion for our
first dance.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I know it was very emotional. It was here Mama's boy.
Would you say?

Speaker 7 (01:54):
I actually am?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Hey, all right, well, happy birthday mama, Dan. Now who
do you guys want to shine a light on?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty Abby, Who
do you want to shine a light on?

Speaker 5 (02:04):
I want to shine a light on my boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
He's from Jersey.

Speaker 8 (02:07):
He just before he moves to Boston.

Speaker 7 (02:10):
He's doing great.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Our relationship is doing great.

Speaker 9 (02:12):
I'm from Boston, he's from Jerseys.

Speaker 8 (02:13):
He got a job. Yeah, Dad, He's just an awesome guy.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
So I just want to shine a light on him.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
He's doing great.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
I got a great from Jersey. So he took Boston
to be with you.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
He's sure, yes, right, say, I know that's right. I
know you are so happy you got your man there.
He's doing good.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Good.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
What's his name?

Speaker 7 (02:34):
His name is Jared.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
All Right, we'll shout out to you, Jared. I hope
y'all are having an amazing time. And uh yeah, definitely
shine a light on.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
You, Jared.

Speaker 8 (02:42):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
That would shine a light eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty In case you couldn't get through, you
could always shine a light during last word and when
we come back, let's get into this yet. You know
what we've been following this drama with Shemiah and Porsia
on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Well we'll tell you what
happened and when the two of them had their very
emotional sit down. I know y'all want to pick a side,

(03:04):
but we'll talk about it during Yea Tee. It's way up,
it says in the rooms from Industry Shade.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
To all of gossip out send Angelas spieling that Yee tea.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
It's way up at Angela yee and it's time for
your yee team. Unfortunately, I know Navy and Dan my
producers do not watch Real Housewives of Atlanta, so I'm
gonna have to try to give y'all some backstory. But
the real truth of the matter is that Shamia and
Portia used to be besties, and now since Tomas joined
the cast, people are saying Porscha's not her real friend.
They're also saying Shemi has done some things that you

(03:36):
wouldn't do to your best friend. Well, the two of
them attempted to have us sit down on last night's
episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, and here's how it went.

Speaker 7 (03:46):
I'm here to try.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
To honestly resolve them, possibly salvage a friendship.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Well, I would like to salvage our friendship.

Speaker 8 (03:53):
Yeah, because what you're.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Saying, you're being dismissed.

Speaker 7 (03:56):
It happenish SMI.

Speaker 10 (03:57):
I wish we could be the way we are off
camera care and you know what you said, they would
have to pay any more money for that.

Speaker 7 (04:03):
Why can't we be that way?

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Why do.

Speaker 7 (04:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
So it looks like the two of them are really
going to have this real conversation, and I want to
say that online. It was Shmia's birthday. Porsha wished her
a happy birthday, so it seemed like things were good
in spite of everything that's been happening on it was
her birthday on May twelfth, Porscha posted pictures of them.
It was a nice post, but then things got a

(04:29):
little crazy when Porscha went online and said, I'm gonna
just say this. I'm watching new episode at Shemiah. Now,
don't take it there, don't simply don't imply ish about
Diane Williams.

Speaker 7 (04:40):
That's her mom.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
I've been keeping it cute, quiet and you can do
and say what you want in me, but hear me
when I say wrong. Road talking about well, your mom
thought my mom was a friend, knowing damn well, what
she did to my mom was highly egregious. Don't do it,
keep playing victim and that bs. Don't effort my mom.
It feels like every time the two of them look
like they're about to work things out, something else happens.

(05:01):
So I know a lot of times they record these things,
weigh in advance, and we're behind as we're watching things
on television. So we'll see where this all ends up.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Now.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
I do want to also point out that women not
getting along, people don't get along with each other, people
who were best of friends and poor Paul. George was
on the Pivot podcast and he talked about falling out
with Chris Paul.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 6 (05:25):
It was a brotherhood that I thought was with CP.
And then we get into the series and the words
get thrown out there Where does come from? So and
that's just you know, again, I don't like talking about
the situation. We had a moment this year where you know,
we started modeling off and words thrown out there.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
Again, it is what it is. It's up every time
I see.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Him see it ain't just the women fighting. I just
want to say that. And I don't know what it
means when it's up every time I see you if
that means be going to argue. But hopefully they can
hash it out like Portia Shamia did. All right, well,
that is your et. When we come back, we have
about last night. That's we were discussed what we did
last night. I had a very active weekend. I was
actually in Philly over the weekend and we'll talk about

(06:06):
this Hat and Tea Awards that I was at. It
was an amazing event to be with all these empowering,
amazing women. Shout out to my guy Rob Murray from
Philly for also setting this up for me.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
It's way up night night.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
What's up this way? Yup?

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Put angela ye, and it's time for about last night. Now.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I want to shout out to Sherry.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Williams from Woman Up Initiatives and she did the Tea
and Hat Awards and I loved it.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I had a great time.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
I was in Philly over the weekend and it's basically
a women's empowerment event that they put together and awards
are given out. I had an amazing popping table of women.
Everybody was dressed to the nines. I saw so many
outfits that I was like, I need that, I need that,
I need that. But shout out to all the women
that were at the Hat and Tea Awards and to
Sherry Williams and making that happen. And I also want

(07:01):
to spread some love to a very important person in
my life. I actually haven't had a car for like
the past month, and I know a car is a luxury,
trust me. The problem was that somebody crashed into my
car while it's parked on.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
The street and totaled it.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
And I want to shout out to my girl, Nike
at my car dealer at BMW in Freeport, Long Island,
because she went above and beyond. I was really picky.
I was like, I want the same car. The car
I had was a twenty twenty five and I wanted
the same car.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
She literally found that car.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
She said they were only three in the country, and
she got them to ship that car from California. So
I was able to pick up my car over the weekend.
I'm back on the streets. It was a major inconvenience
to have something that was totally not my fault, you know.
But fortunately nobody was injured. I'm good, I'm straight. I
still was being able to get around, but I did
miss having my car. So shout out to Nike for

(07:51):
making that happen. And just you know, she got the
same last name as me Ye nike yee Nikisha. So
love you girl, thank you so much. And that is
about last night. When we come back, we gotta tell
us a secret. Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty.
Call us up, any secret you have. I'm here to
listen and not judge you. And trust me, somebody don't

(08:12):
do something way worse than you, all right. Eight hundred
two ninety two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Call us up. It's no judgment. Tell us a secret.
It's way up, yo up.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Its way up at the Angela, Ye, and it's time
for it. Tell us a secret. Eight hundred two ninety
two fifty one fifty. As we always say, it's a
no judgment zone. You are anonymous?

Speaker 2 (08:36):
What's up? Anonymous caller? How are you?

Speaker 8 (08:38):
Hi? Angela?

Speaker 2 (08:40):
I'm good girl. What's going on? What's your secret? I
had a three po.

Speaker 10 (08:43):
With my boyfriend, but I don't all do it again, No, diddy,
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (08:48):
I want to get married. People get leiried, so i'll again.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
So you want to get married to your boyfriend?

Speaker 7 (08:54):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Is he pressuring you to keep doing them now, No,
he didn't even want to do it.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
It was my friend, my okay, all right, so he's
fine with not doing that ever again, y'all experimented. You're
in a relationship. He's down with just being you and him,
and now you down for that too.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
I'm down for you. I'm here for you. Who is
the third person? It was my friend, one of my
good friends.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
She come over all the time, and I guess one
time is just.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Went that way. How is your friend acting? She acted
like nothing happened.

Speaker 10 (09:24):
I don't hear that.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
I don't want her to come back over.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Okay, I mean that's fair, but maybe if that's really
your friend, you could just let her know.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Look, that was the one time thing. We never doing
that again. Okay, okay, yeah, she came back over six times.

Speaker 6 (09:40):
Who was just probably on a friend?

Speaker 7 (09:42):
You know, we still who but I've just been all.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Right, yeah, are you gonna invite her to the wedding?

Speaker 3 (09:47):
Oh yeah, listen, things happen. It's a really you did
it within your relationship. Y'all both did it together and
both decided no more. So that's all good.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Okay, I'm I want to say I'm proud of you.

Speaker 7 (10:01):
I was listening to your radio station.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
I'm like, this is a good time stop for her.
You know it's new, but I like hearing you at
this time you out and all.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
The moms like you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (10:09):
All the women all we love to hear you.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Oh my god, thank you. I love you. I appreciate that.
And I'm from Detroit.

Speaker 8 (10:15):
Detroit loves you.

Speaker 11 (10:16):
Girl.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Listen, I'm dealing with some Detroit stuff right now on
email while I'm on the air. So yes, I'm gonna
be out there soon, so make sure you pay attention
so we can hang out nice.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Okay, Well let me know where to catch you at.
I'm dealing little all right, thank you for calling. Bye.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
That was tell us a secret eight hundred and two
ninety two fifty one fifty. You can still leave a
secret for last word. And when we come back, we
got your yeech. And let's talk about Floyd Mayweather.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
He is suing.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Business insider will tell you why it's way up.

Speaker 5 (10:45):
Yo, She's about to blow the lid ab off this spot.
Let's get it. Oh yeah, angel is feeling that yee
t Come and get the tea.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (10:52):
His way up at Angela. Yeah, and it's time for
your yet. So let's talk about Floyd Mayweather Junior. He
was at the Real Deals New York City Forum twenty twenty.
He was talking about real estate, but he ended up
talking about how he's suing business insider and journalist David Geiger. Apparently,
if you recall and I talked about this, business Insider
did an article they said there was no evidence that

(11:14):
he had purchased a five hundred million dollar real estate portfolio.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
He had publicly announced this deal.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Floyd Mayweather is saying this article not only attacked his reputation,
but also jeopardized him from doing future business.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 11 (11:27):
But if someone going out there putting lies on my name,
putting lies on me and my team and my family,
and hurting my business, we're talking about billions of dollars.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
We can't do that now. As far as the fact
that he's bankrupt, that is not a fact, that's fiction.
Here's what he had to say about those rumors.

Speaker 11 (11:44):
I mean, if we call having two private jets, owning
one hundred buildings being able to do what you want
to do, if that's bankrupts, then I'm pretty sure everybody
want to live like that.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Well, in Floyd Mayweather's lawsuit, he's saying that Geiger embarked
on a campaign of harassment and deaf and characterized by
aggressive and misleading journalism that not only distorts the truth,
but seems it's deems it's driven by a deep seated
bias against Floyd Mayweather's success. He wants one hundred million dollars,
a public retraction, and a ruling that prohibits Geiger from

(12:17):
further public harassments. So we shall see how this plays out,
but it looks like he's very confident in what it
is that he.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Owns, all right.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
In other news, DDG is saying that these brands that
have pulled away from him after these abuse allegations that
he has against Halle Bailey, he said he's going to
charge them quadruple because they switched up.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
It's a whole lot of brands switching up on me.
Right now. I want you brands to know.

Speaker 7 (12:44):
Over with, I'm charging y'all quadruple quin Temple.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
Actually all right, well, right now, DDG does not have
custody rights to his son Halo, that he shares with
Halle Bailey. There's allegations of verbal, emotional, and physical abuse,
but right now they are allegations. It's nothing that has
been proven to this point, but a lot of people
are believing it. Well, that's your yet when we come back,
we have under the radar. These are the stories that

(13:09):
are not necessarily in the headlines. They're flying under the radar,
but you definitely need to know about them.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
It's way up newsition in the news that relates to you.
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
What's up his way up at Angela yea, and it's
time for your under the radar stories. Now, the FBI
has announced they've doubled the reward for information. They're trying
to capture the seven remaining inmates who escaped from Orleans
Justice Center in New Orleans early Friday morning. Out of
the ten people who escape, seven of them are still
at large. Now two of the inmates have been apprehended,

(13:42):
one had remained in custody.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
One of them the way he.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Got apprehended, Kendall Miles, He actually went live with the Bros.
Here's what he had to say as he was going live. Ay,
So the total possible reward that you can get for
each of these fugitives is seventeen thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (14:06):
According to reports.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
They're saying this is one of the biggest escapes that
have ever happened. They are telling people to please remain
vigilant and report any information regarding the fugitives to authorities
called the FBI at eight hundred call FBI, or you
can send digital tips to FBI dot gov slash New
Orleans Fugitives.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
They also wrote on the wall because by the.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Way, they were defective locks at this New Orleans County
Parish jail. They wrote too easy on the wall after
they escaped. All right, and former President Joe Biden has
been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. According
to reports, he has a gleas in score of nine
and that's a nine out of ten, and this represents

(14:46):
a more aggressive form of the disease. They said that
a cancer appears to be hormone sensitive, which allows for
effective management. But that's a reminder for all of us
to make sure that we go ahead and get ourselves
tested now. Kamala Harri posted her support. Even Donald Trump
posted his support with Milania. I will say that Donald
Trump Junior had something completely different to say. He went

(15:09):
on social media and blamed doctor Jill Biden for not
catching this because she's a doctor, not realizing that she's
not actually a doctor in a hospital.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
All right, well that is you're under the radar.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
We do have the Way Up mix at the top
of the hour plus also on the way, the quote
the greatest woman of all time, Clarissa Shields is gonna
be joining us. She's gonna fight coming up July twenty
six at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
It's way up.

Speaker 10 (15:36):
She's like the talt like they Angela Jean, like they
angela jee Man.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
She's spilling it all. This is yet way up.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Its way up with angela yee and it is time
for your yee t.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Now we're going to talk about Diddy's trial today.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
The defense is cross examining Don Richard, you know don
Or as you'all call her, Don Richard from Dannity Caine.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Now.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
She testified that she often saw Diddy taking drugs, including
wee kedemine and cocaine.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
She did not see him take opiate.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
She testified the drugs were delivered to the studio by
a certain man and he kept them in a Louis
Vatan toiletry bag. She also says that she stopped commenting
on Diddy and Cassie's relationship for her own safety. She
did witness his violent behavior allegedly and told Cassie that
she should leave. She said Cassie looked tourn like she
would listen, but you could see I could see the fear.

(16:29):
She said that when Diddy found out about these conversations,
he told her to stay out of their relationship and
that she was here to work, so she decided for
her own safety it would be best for her to
simply mind her business.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
But she did say that seeing.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Cassie tell the truth is what encouraged her to speak
out about Diddy. She said she didn't immediately talk about
the alleged abuse that she witnessed because they told her
not to speak about it. Diddy and another employee from
Bad Boy. She said that she does have insight into
their relationship from both a professional and personal standpoint, but

(17:03):
the defense is trying to make it seem like she's
been changing her story different accounts over an incident in
the kitchen, and she said that she but Donna, saying
she has recounted the incident over time to the best
of her memory. So she's on the stand today, they're
pressing her, trying to make it seem like she's giving
different accounts. She did say that she never saw did

(17:24):
he pull a gun out or loaded with bullets, But
she said she only saw the gun on him, and
she said typically he would have.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
That gun on his lower back.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
In the meantime, Cassie's former best friend Carrie Morgan is
going to be testifying in Diddy's trial.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
In other news, Gunna.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Has got his tattoo covered up, so it looks like
now it's officially no more YSL for him.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
Now.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
One thing that did happen is once this was posted,
Gunna's covered up his yl tattoo. Young Doug responded and said,
I mean he said it must end, lol. And when
he responded that he's referring to a statement that was
read in court that gonna admit it that he made.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
And here's that statement, and you acknowledge.

Speaker 10 (18:09):
The following statement I recognize, except.

Speaker 5 (18:12):
And deep leering red that might tell and music and
not readily further. Why settle the game to the detriment
of my community?

Speaker 10 (18:19):
Why sell as a game must be is that your
statement or acknowledgement?

Speaker 3 (18:25):
All right, well that is your ee T And when
we come back, we have ask yee eight hundred two
ninety two fifty one fifty any question you have, We're
here to help.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Its way up.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
Gokay, everybody sis, whether it's relationship or career advice, Angela's
dropping facts.

Speaker 5 (18:39):
Should you should know? This is ask ee?

Speaker 2 (18:42):
What's up his way up?

Speaker 8 (18:43):
At?

Speaker 2 (18:43):
Angela?

Speaker 6 (18:43):
Yee?

Speaker 3 (18:43):
And it's time for ask ye. Eight hundred and two
ninety two fifty one fifty is the number. Any question
you have, I'm here to help. And we got Stephan
on the line. What's up Stepan?

Speaker 8 (18:52):
And how are you?

Speaker 2 (18:54):
I'm good? What is your question for? Ask ee?

Speaker 8 (18:57):
So if my girlfriend went to lunch with another coworker,
male coworker, but hit it from me and then I
brought it up there said he ain't no problem, just let
me know when you guys go, but then kept timing
it for me. What should I think about that?

Speaker 3 (19:11):
That's her work husband, that's her work husband, right, But okay,
so I just need a little more details. How did
you find out.

Speaker 8 (19:19):
Texts were getting deleted? And then that let it?

Speaker 2 (19:22):
She was like, oh, I left my wallet in his car, Stefan,
what is going on? You tell me? Just being a
logical person.

Speaker 8 (19:31):
Everything leads to one answer.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Obviously, And let's just say, buy some crazy crazy out
there like that.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
She's not doing anything.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
The fact that she's hiding things from you, it is
equivalent to lying, right because you brought it up.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
You were a ready let her know that about that.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
You just let me know when this is happening, and
she hasn't, and she continues to hide it from you.
So that alone is enough to be a red flag.
But then on top of that, why is she hiding
it from What's her reason when she says she doesn't
tell you?

Speaker 9 (20:03):
When she says she doesn't tell me, is oh, I
feel like you're gonna tell me that it's not a
big deal. But I think you're gonna still make it
a big deal in your mind, like you're still gonna
be mad about it.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Well, she made it.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
She's kind of made it a big deal because now
it's a big deal because she's hiding it.

Speaker 8 (20:20):
Yeah, exactly. And I was like, listen, I told you,
just let me know. It's not a big deal. It's
a coworker. You used to go to lunch. Like, you know,
coworkers go to lunch all the time. It's normal. But
the fact that even after I told you to tell
me that, you're still not telling me, that's the red
flag I feel it.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
It's fine, don't act like it's not a big deal,
because it is, and that's why she's not telling you.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
But that's disrespectful.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
I think a good rule of THEMB in a relationship
is if you're doing something that you know the other
person wouldn't like or that you have to hide it
from them, you shouldn't be doing it. It's not like
it's a group setting. Everyone's going, but she can't go.
She's having a one on one lunches that she's hiding
from you with her co.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Worker, with a male coworker exactly. So you know what
it is.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
And if she's not gonna stop doing that, that's a
choice that she makes. And then you have to figure
out what you need to do, because now the balls
in your court. Clearly she's been doing this, she's not stopping.
You've told her about that, you she's still doing it.
Now what are you gonna do?

Speaker 8 (21:16):
Yeah, the balls in my court to make a decision,
right mm hm I appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Angelaie all right, Stefan, well, thank you for calling.

Speaker 8 (21:24):
Thank you. Enjoya Dara right, all.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
Right, you too. All right, I feel like he's hurt.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
I'm sorry, Stefan, but we gotta be real with ourselves
at times. All right, Well that was asked, ye eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty if you couldn't
get through.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
And when we come back, Clarissa Shields.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Is joining us. I'm excited for this. You know, she
know how to talk. Her ish is way up.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
This is way up with Angela. Ye, let's go. Yeah,
you are a media maven.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Right, you never know what Angel's gonna say.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
What's up? It's way up with Angela. Yee.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
I got my guy Naje here with me from Cigar Talk.
I appreciate you listen, cause you love boxing just like
I do. Have Could I not have you here because
Clarissa Shelves is in the building the greatest listen. We
always talk about this, like all the accolades you have.
It's just building up, building up, building up. But I
just always want to make sure that people are giving
you your credit and you're just due from the beginning.

(22:14):
And I want to clarify something too. When you fuck
Danielle Perkins. I left a comment and I was like,
oh man, this is tough for me, you know, Brooklyn,
but I still was rooting for you. It's just tough
because you know, it's hard to go against the home
team always.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
But I did.

Speaker 7 (22:28):
Strange afought that comment was about some else. I didn't
think it was about her. Okay, what'd you think?

Speaker 2 (22:33):
It was nothing? Oh my god, No, I was talking
about that fight, you know what.

Speaker 10 (22:39):
It's so weird that the whole thing kind of became
about Brooklyn for the fight because Pappa's from Brooklyn, right,
so they thought like, oh, she woted teams for Pepp
And they were like, no, I wanted teams to show
Danielle like, I know how y'all get down in Brooklyn,
and I'm come to let you know I'm coming to
get down like that time.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
You know so much about Brooklyn from and you know
she did give you your props because for her to
get a fight of that magnitude was a big deal
for her as well.

Speaker 7 (23:05):
Ain't nobody fighting against daniel Perkins.

Speaker 10 (23:07):
That girl is big and strong, and she faster than
what she looks.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Right now, I'm talking to Claressa Sheldon.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
It was like the last round you caught her with
a shot. That was like the highlight. Tell me about that.

Speaker 7 (23:18):
Come on, now, ain't nobody getting beat up in front
of their men.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
That's the way I wanted to knockout. You know what
I'm saying. But it ain't nobody that.

Speaker 10 (23:26):
Ain't nobody getting me. First of all, I was like,
I'm not getting people from my mom, but especially my man.

Speaker 7 (23:32):
My man walked me out.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
I was like, oh nah, if people have walked you
out and you lost, oh my god. No, honestly, it
would have been his fault.

Speaker 7 (23:43):
Anybody, everybody would have blamed them.

Speaker 8 (23:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (23:46):
So last round, you know, all these girls by old,
let's just go to war, let's go on out. And
I'm like, as soon as she gets too happy, I'm clocker.
And she just got too happy in that moment and
she got club If that would have went a little
bit longer than a knockout, I thought it was a knockout.

Speaker 7 (23:59):
The red on at ten she turned around. That's the
wave off to me.

Speaker 10 (24:04):
I'm six and oh be four knockouts And that's no
disrespect to Danielle. But it was ten seconds left in
the fight, she turned her back and then when I
ran upon her, the bell had ring.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Do you have superstitions superstition?

Speaker 7 (24:15):
Yeah, listen, I don't. I don't have six six weeks
before the fight.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
So you can't make out her nothing.

Speaker 10 (24:19):
I mean, I can kiss on that stuff, but as
far as me, nah, no, Like I can't do that.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Okay, okay, what is that orl orgasms?

Speaker 7 (24:32):
I don't do that. It's like I saved it all up.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
But right after that fight, baby comment were on and popping.
My guy Nag's here from Tiguard Talk and we are
talking to Claressa Shells. She's gonna be fighting Lonnie Daniels
at Little Caesars Arena July twenty six and Detroit.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
We got more when we come back. It's way out.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
Yeah yeah, yea.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
But you're all been waiting for.

Speaker 5 (24:58):
You're tapped in the way up with Angela.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
Ye what's up?

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Its way up with Angela yee, And I got Nase's
here from Tiguard Talk and we got to growth the
greatest women of all time, Clarissa Shields in the building.
I've been watching your career for a long time and
it's interesting to me that people have said things, and
I've heard them say things like, oh, people only know
who she is now because she's dandy papoos.

Speaker 7 (25:20):
That, which is the funniest thing to me.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Yeah. I see people online like saying, you don't know.

Speaker 10 (25:26):
If I hear that, I'm like, oh, I don't get
mad when I hear people say that old people only
on her because of pat because I know it's one
hundred percent not true. But I can say that me
being with him have added value to my life, and
I added value, so he is looking at the positive.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Do you find it difficult to be in a high
profile relationship now.

Speaker 2 (25:45):
Yeah, cause it's different.

Speaker 10 (25:46):
Yeah, it has its challenges, you know, But I will
say that we were friends and we spent a lot
of time together before anybody knew anything about us being together.
We built our own relationship in our own bond, and
we both understood that once we did come out.

Speaker 7 (26:02):
Because for me, I don't mind being public.

Speaker 10 (26:04):
In my relationship. As you can see, Angela, I've been
up here, maybe I have two erent so you know,
my mom be like let me.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Every time she come up here. You know, I'm a
get in her business too, so.

Speaker 7 (26:17):
I didn't even notice.

Speaker 10 (26:18):
So I had gone to an argument last time, well
a time before with the guy I was engaged to,
and he had said something about, oh why you why
you were in the ring and me and you broken up.
So before I came to her show, I took the
ring off because me and him got into an argument.
And then I get up here, I'm just talking and
she's like, where you're ringing at? I'm like, I wasn't ready,

(26:42):
you know, but it's a good relationship and we respect
each other. I don't know how I well navigate this
last year of my life without Papa.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
I can say right now I'm talking to Claressa Shells,
and you guys were kind of forced out to point.

Speaker 10 (26:58):
Period when you're in a public relationship, right, everybody's old,
a couple of goals. We love y'all, we love y'all,
and then you break up and like the fans like
you owe them an explanation on your life on while
you broke up with somebody, They want to like, what's
the details, what happened? Did somebody cheap? Did somebody hit somebody?
And it's like, I don't do that.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
You can't nobody. You'll go to jail. I'm saying I
registered weapons.

Speaker 7 (27:22):
I still I still put my hands on. He's thinking
a fight too.

Speaker 10 (27:32):
He crazy, you know, but it's like for me, it's
like I don't do that. It's like once me and
the person are together and we I mean, listen, we
do our best to make it work.

Speaker 7 (27:39):
But if it don't work, I like to just move on, right.

Speaker 10 (27:42):
You know, I have to move on, and they move on,
and yeah, people still bring the old person, but it's like, no,
I don't owe people explanation.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
On got to jump in there too. I was like, yeah,
that was.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
Black Love. How you feel about that?

Speaker 7 (27:58):
That title to me like completely a different thing.

Speaker 10 (28:03):
Yeah, give us a different title. Yeah, I if I
had you tied, I always say like, you know, go love. Okay,
well go love, because gold no matter what time and
age it is, it never gets old.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
Clarissa Shields is here so normally when we come back
we have last word, but because she knows how to
work that microphone to get ready for this fight. July
twenty six and Detroit a little Caesars Arena, we got
more with Clarissa Shields.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
It's way up, turn you it way up with angela
ye more now what's up?

Speaker 2 (28:34):

Speaker 3 (28:35):
Now, normally we would be doing last word, but I
think we gotta let Clarissa Shields get the last word
in today. Now she's here with me from Cigar Talk
and July twenty six. Do you know already who's walking
you out?

Speaker 10 (28:46):

a great walkout. It's gonna be a great fight, y'all.

fight already, so you better get yours, by the way,
okay us on Ticketmaster.

Speaker 2 (28:58):

Speaker 7 (28:58):
I love Fight Week. I get the show. How pretty
I am?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
I am the same down we do you feel like
now that the blogs have been posting you so much,
like relationship wise, that you stepping out even more into
like the styling and the makeup and all of that.
I don't know where all these girls got that I
couldn't dress before.

Speaker 10 (29:17):
I thought it was crazy because it was like them
girls don't even look better than me, they don't dress
better than me, they don't got more money than me,
but they talking about me. And let's be clear, I
wear what I want to wear because that makes me comfortable.
That's what I feel pretty in. And guess what, Pep
loved how I dress. But it's like, I've never said
that I'm a fashionista.

Speaker 7 (29:36):
I whooped ass.

Speaker 10 (29:38):
I'm a fighter. I'm a boxer. I don't know where
they got this one. I've already had a stylist two.
I was already looking at getting me another stylist so
I can have two. I'm the Beyonce of boxing. Do
you know how many stylis that Beyonce? I like that.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
I take that right now.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
I'm talking to Claressa Schild who made the first move
for the two of you, Like who was the first
person to to move that from that friendship to like
something more.

Speaker 10 (30:03):
It was powerful short because so we met July sixth,
extra court fight, and when we took our first picture,
it started going I've seen the blogs then talking about
some that we were.

Speaker 7 (30:12):
Potentially I was his girlfriend.

Speaker 10 (30:14):
I was like, well, don't even know this, dude, Yeah,
they kind of will that bull Well. I had invited
him to come to my fight July twenty seven. He
was already fan. We kind of just like started off
with like friends talking and everything like that, and you
know how, you.

Speaker 7 (30:29):
Know how you just be like testing it and I
was like, I didn't something.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Let's see if she catch it.

Speaker 8 (30:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (30:35):
Up in New York's fool think he called me here something.

Speaker 10 (30:39):
I'm like it's I'm like nah, but I always said
no because it was like I thought he was just
cool or whatever, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (30:47):
And then he was like, hey, after your fight. I
was like, take you off to eat and I was
like for what, mmm, like we're gonna go to eat
for he was like just talking. I was like okay,
and I was like, oh.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Yeah, all right cool and then you and then you
said I like him Like just from that, I like,
you am already okay, Well listen, we're trying to come
out there, so I think I'm gonna make it happen.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
