kinds of places. But welcome home, mano, that's right, welcome
way up, way up. We got a special show for
you guys today, of course, as we always do. You
missed tell us a secret yesterday, but no worries. We

Well, let's see what's today's day, July eighth. So the
wedding is in eighteen days, My wedding, Your wedding.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
I'm in Jeopardy.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
Well, let's shine a lights.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Shine a light on a future wife.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
I think you lost on Jeopardy eight hundred nine two
fifty one fifty is a number. Call us up. Who
do you want to shine a light on? Again? That's
eight hundred two nine to fifty one fifty. I'm a
shining light on somebody in Detroit. It's way up.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
Turn your lights on, y'all, spreading love to those who
are doing greatness.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
The light on, shine a light on. It's time to
shine a light on.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
It's way up at Angela. Yeah, I'm here. Yeah, my
guy Maino's here. You know who we shining a light
on today? I swear Vessel now, I was looking at
this post with Mary Sheffield, and she was with him
as and she's the city council president in Detroit running
from mayor right now, and she went to look at
this transitional housing neighborhood that he's operating. His old house,
(01:57):
his old house where he grew up with his nine siblings.
And that was also a place, he said, where his
mom did twenty years of foster care out of that
exact home. And he said that idea was his brothers,
his mothers, all of them. They started this without me.
They didn't need icebear Vessel's influence or anything. So it's
called gracious hands it's more than just shelter. It supports
residents in building independence and trust and assisting with daily goals,
(02:20):
whether it's mail prep, grooming, money management, helping them find
a job. So basically, it's wrap around services for people
who are unhoused. All right, So shout out to Vessel,
shout out to h to Mary Sheffield for going there
and always being tapped in with the community. Housing is
such a major concern for so many people. Now, who
do you want to shine a light on eight hundred
two nine fifty one fifty. What's up, Jay? How are you?
Speaker 5 (02:42):
How are you Angela?
Speaker 6 (02:44):
Oh my god, I'm so glad to talk to you.
Speaker 7 (02:46):
You know, I was in New York.
Speaker 6 (02:48):
I went to your coffee uplifts paper.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
Great time, Yeah, wonderful time.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Oh I'm so glad you came by. Well, thank you
for that.
Speaker 6 (02:56):
And I want to say that I want to shine
a light on you because you're so expirational. And I
want to sound a light on all the first responders,
all those who are helping those out there in Texas.
My heart goes out to them and I'm just praying
for them.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
Oh my gosh, me too, man. And they're saying there's
gonna be even more rained. So I'm just praying that,
like there's not more devastation. But it's already tough because
of a lot of people have lost, you know, loved ones,
and it's gonna be hard for people to rebuild after this.
So I'm with you, all right.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
And so you have a great show.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Thank you.
Speaker 6 (03:28):
Can't wait to come back to New York. I love
your plays.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Thank you, I love you. That means a lot to me.
I appreciate you, all right, God bless you. All right.
Well that was Shining Light eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty. When we come back, we got your
yet anything you want to tease me?
Speaker 3 (03:42):
No, nah man, let's just talk about it all all right.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Well, let's talk about Essence Festival. I didn't get a
chance to get into that yesterday. You there, No, I
was not. I was in Turks and kkos. But Stephanie
Mills wrote a letter to Essence Festival organizers this morning.
I'm gonna tell you what it says. It's way up.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
They says the rooms industry shade to all of gossip.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
How angels feeling that eye?
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Yeah, it's my yep at Angela yee, I'm here, meno's
here yea yeah, And let's get into some yet. First off,
let's talk about Essence Festival. We didn't have a chance
to talk about this yesterday, but I figured we'll bring
it up today because Stephanie Mills wrote a letter to
Essence and she said, I'm writing to share my feedback
following my performance. She said the challenges I encountered were
(04:26):
multifaceted and in my view, indicative of broader organizational shortcomings.
She said they were logistical issues, technical difficulties, the sound system,
and she also said the overall level of professionalism my
witness fell far short of the standards I expect from
such a highly regarded festival. So she says she hopes
that this will ensure that future Essence festivals run smoothly
(04:48):
and meet the high standards associated with the brand. Now
may know you've been there once right on, and I've
been there like every single year except for the past
two years.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
I had a great time.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Now, yeah, for quite a long time. And there was
a lot of people criticizing the Essence Festival. A lot
of things went wrong. They said they were a lot
of delays. Yeah, this year, Lauren Hill was delayed until
two am to perform. They said she was on time
went on that stage, but the problem was that everything
was running behind, and so the festival did assume responsibility
(05:20):
for the late start. They also issued a statement that
praised Lauren Hill as a legend and stated that delay
was not her fault. There were a lot of things.
People were upset. The super lounges weren't free anymore. There
were a lot of vendors that pulled out. You know,
there was a whole Target situation.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Yeah, I heard about the Target situation.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
With Target being one of the main sponsors, and so.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
That made other people actually pull out.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
I don't know if it was that because Target has
to deal with them for multiple years. But I do
want to bring attention because while everybody's been dragging Essence
Festival this year, it is something that has been a
foundation in our culture for a really long time, and
it feels like this year there were some things that
they just did not get right.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
Now.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Ryan who's one of the owners of the gathering spot,
had some things to say, and I want to I
thought it was I thought it was pretty spot on
what he said. Here's what he had to say.
Speaker 8 (06:13):
Feedback is transactional, where fellowship is transformational. These sort of
distinctions are the things that I deeply encourage us to
be thinking about as we're talking about one of the
very important institutions that we have in our community. So
much economic impact, so many people have been provided jobs
that ordinarily wouldn't have had them. While I understand there
are always opportunities to improve, the spirit in which we
(06:35):
continue to have these very public discussions about things that
ultimately are important to us has to stop.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Now. Another thing that I saw was they were criticizing,
in particular Caroline Wanga. She was on the show recently.
She's the CEO of Essence, but she's on leave and
she's been on leave for you know, quite a while now,
so she wasn't at the festival. But they posted a
picture of her with the white women and two kids,
and they said that she's a lesbian. That's her wife,
(07:02):
But that's not that's her sister in law. To do
with you nothing. I think people were just dragging her
because they were dragging the festival and saying, oh, this
is why, but yeah, yeah, married to a white woman.
I mean, it's crazy, but that's her sister in law. Yeah,
so it's just been a lot of misinformation going on,
and I think it's important to not attack the culture,
(07:24):
not attack our people. But also if you really want
to figure out how to improve this, like start working
on that now. But Stephanie Mils is my girl. That's
a queen, and she spoke about her experience. So hopefully
they take all these things seriously because it'll be interesting
to see what happens next year. All right, well that
is your ut. When we come back, we have about
(07:44):
last night. You haven't been here in a while, but
this song is so appropriate for you. Wedding coming up.
Here's Leon Thomas and Chris Brown mutt.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
So about last night. Yes, I went down.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, it's where you put it in until like yeah, yeah,
eighteen days from Aino's wedding.
Speaker 9 (08:05):
Today, right, it's July twenty six, is the day. It's
all set up. But I'm I'm down to the wire
right now.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
You gotta find it and I don't have a bride.
This is like the leadout at the club.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
This is crazy.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
You got to just do Yeah, this is when you're like,
who did I take home last night?
Speaker 9 (08:24):
Stay out of the street clubs. I might have to
go back in there and find something.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
But since this is about last night, you haven't met anybody,
like since.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
You've been on meeting people all the time.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
So nobody that you figure's wife material. I don't know
what are you looking for everything?
Speaker 3 (08:42):
That's probably what my problem is. I need help. I
need help.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
What you need to do is go home and watch
Love Island like I was doing last night the first place.
So many yes, what not to do? There were so
many things that first of U, it's so hard to
watch this show because it's thirty episodes. I'm on like
seventeen now, whoa, I just saw Meg thee Stallion's appearance
on there and then a couple Yeah, she's on one
(09:07):
episode promoting her swimsuit line and then there's like a
competition and stuff like that. But anyway, we're gonna talk
about this later because I want to talk about one
person on this show that I'm like if i'm and
I rarely do this because you know, not not usually
do I take the man's side.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
But you should do a little bit more often.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
We'll talk about this later. But she whodah kept calling Jeremiah.
How how do you say hooda Hodda? All right? Anyway,
she kept calling Jeremiah, can I say bitch? She kept
calling him that repeatedly. It's okay, maybe I'm kidding, you
can say it. She kept calling him that repeatedly, over
and over again. You were you were? And I just
feel like if he would have did that to her, right,
(09:48):
he would have been kicked off that show so fast.
And so I just don't like that. But anyway, that's
one tip I would give you though, as far as
when you get married, even in a relationship, never causedbody
out their name. Don't call them the B word.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
I don't like the word going sex.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
That's different. You can call them anything at that time
as long as they're with.
Speaker 3 (10:09):
It, Okay, got it?
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Yeah right, but not just like during an argument. You
cannot do that. Have you ever had a woman? Yeah,
you definitely have. What call you that? For sure?
Speaker 3 (10:18):
What do you think women call me out?
Speaker 2 (10:20):
Mon?
Speaker 3 (10:20):
Nay? Yes, I don't play that.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
No, I've heard it. I feel like you can enjoy Itail,
I've heard some of your voicemails, so for sure. But anyway,
I want to talk to you about your wife though,
because that's just one tip, and we're going to talk
about this love island stuff later. So, since we're in
the ninth inning and the cloth is about to let out,
I need somebody to be Maino's wife. So what I

Speaker 7 (16:38):
Now.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
We should have did this in the beginning.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Hey, listen, I think we on something.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
All right, Well, listen, when we come back, let's do
some et uh. Let's talk about this really crazy allegation
about Diddy and this notorious big shirt. And I'll tell
you what Diddy's attorneys have to say in response to
these allegations. This was a ridiculous one ridiculous, Okay, it's
way up. There's more to you. Imagine when you listen,
(17:02):
she's about to blow the lid ab off this spot.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
Let's get it.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Angelus billing that.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Yee te Come and get the tea, all right, his
way up at Angela, yee I'm here with no there
we go. It was a little delay. Let's get into
this at all times. All right. Now, there's another lawsuit
against Diddy. He's being sued by a John Doe, who
says there were a lot of sexually deviant dealings with
(17:27):
Diddy over the years. He says that he was at
a listening session with Diddy for a Biggie Smallest project
when did he pressured him to take ketamine. He then
says they went to a warehouse in LA where Biggie's
clothes were in storage, and Diddy gave drugs to everybody present. Allegedly,
he said he ended up alone in the room with Diddy.
Where did he then began masturbating in front of him?
And he said did he told him to finish Diddy off?
(17:49):
And then he says that he let off in the
shirt and threw it at him, and then he said
the stuff got on his lap and arm like silence
of the lambs.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
After that trial. They don't even need they don't even
need to report this.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Stuff no more so now he's suing Ditty for sexual battery,
intentional inflection of emotional distress, and more. And he says
that way back in two thousand and five, Didy also, oh,
I can't can I say this? Shoved his privates in
his face. Now and Diddy's behalf his attorneys are saying
this is all lies, and his attorneys are saying, look,
(18:25):
mister Combs's trial and acquittal on trafficking and reco charges
prove what we've been saying all along. Mister Combs never
sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone. That people continue to broadcast
and file false accusations, no matter how heinous and uncorroborated,
it's unfortunate, but mister Combs will not back down.
Speaker 3 (18:41):
They're saying anything now.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Yes, that's yeah, these allegations. Boy, All right, Well Didty's
twin daughters are now launching their own clothing line. That's
Jesse and Delilah Holmes, and here is their announcement. We
are launching our.
Speaker 10 (18:55):
Very own clothing line twenty one.
Speaker 2 (18:59):
This line is more than just fashion. It's personal to
everyone always asks.
Speaker 10 (19:03):
Who really think you like and the answer is definitely.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
The connection we have is just beyondwards and that connection
is the heart of our brand. So yes, that is
one thing I will say during this whole thing, I
did feel like, man, those poor young girls like the
things they have to go through the family.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Right, so you even have to sit in the court
room and hear some of that stuff.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
All right, Janet Jackson and Maxwell have been spotted out
together holding hands. They were at the fifteen hundredth performance
of Cabaret at the Kitcat Club Monday in London, and
the two of them look like they're together together.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
What Mooney tunes over there?
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Boy?
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Why do you say that?
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Oh? Man?
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Well, anyway.
Speaker 7 (19:46):
Is he?
Speaker 3 (19:46):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
I don't know him personally, but I know imagine the
two of them doing some music together.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
That'll be dope.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
That would be amazing. And you know, they both still
touring and doing their thing. And by the way, they
look great in the picture together, q cup. Her outfit
is fire and that is your Yet. Now when we
come back, we have under the radar. These are the
stories that are not necessarily in the headlines. They're flying
under the radar. Definitely want to make sure that you're
aware of what's going on.
Speaker 8 (20:11):
Though.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
It's way up. Here's some Rihanna Reale boy news.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yes, it's way up with angeladies right, No, man, no,
let's get into some of these stories.
Speaker 8 (20:27):
Now.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
This one I thought was a good one. TSA is
ending their shoes off policy. So when you go through security. Jesus,
you don't have to take your shoes off anymore. There
was an unexpected memo that went out to offices across
the country last week stating that new policy will allow
all passengers to keep their shoes on. So they're going
to roll this out to all US airports shortly.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
That's good.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
Yes, there's nothing worse than when you don't anticipate having
to take your shoes off and maybe you got some
slides on.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
With no socks.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
Ye oh my god, that is like the worst fair
for mine. But anyway, and Planned Parenthood is suing the
Donald Trump administration. They're saying that they're being targeted by
provisions in that megabill. They're the largest reproductive health provider
in the US UH Two of their member organization organizations
have filed this lawsuit yesterday. This says that they definitely
(21:20):
are targeting Planned Parenthood over abortion access. The thing about
Planned Parenthood, and I'm gonna keep on saying this, is
that they help with care across the board. Abortions is
probably like the smallest of what it is that they
provide for people that type of access, but they serve
over a million patients using Medicaid each year, and they're
(21:41):
going to lose the ability to choose a planned parenthod
member health center as their Medicaid provider. That's going to
be devastating for patients across the country. Yes, so now
they're suing because they are being and they definitely are
being targeted, let's be clear. And lastly, Amazon is extending
Prime Day discounts to four days, so they have promised
all these summer deals for Prime members that have started,
(22:04):
and they're gonna have deals dropping as often as every
five minutes. I don't know what the tariffs are gonna
bring now, because now Donald Trump is supposedly pushing back.
I don't know. It's hard for me to keep up
with this tariff news. Every single day is something different.
So you know, now they're saying it's gonna be delayed
until August, and they're saying, oh, he's got new targets
(22:26):
for his tariffs. Wall Street has a lot of things
to say. All of this is really like affecting the
start market. Is I'm watching what's happening. I know you've
been doing your trading.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
I haven't been trading in a few like maybe like
two weeks. But yeah, it's really affecting it though.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
All right, well that is you're under the radar now.
We do have the Way up mixed at the top
of the hour. We also have another yet on the way.
We have asked ye and I definitely want to talk
about Love Island with you guys. I want to talk
about I gotta say her name right, Hodda Hudda, and
how she earlier on Love.
Speaker 9 (23:00):
Look.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
I haven't seen all thirty episodes, but I've seen more
than half, and I just don't like how she was
calling Jeremiah out his name. And we're going to talk
about that. In relationships, if you keep calling somebody out
their name to me, that's a red flag. If you
ever want, because there's no respect, curse at me or
call me something like that, I'm gonna automatically be like,
I don't know if I could ever. I feel like
(23:21):
that's how it starts. But some people really.
Speaker 3 (23:23):
Argue like that, yeah, and some people it's cool because
they go back and forth.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
You this, you that, yeah, and then it escalates. I
feel like that. SA's a terrible time.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
I used to be like that, but I'm man, yeah, man,
all right, we're.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
Talking about all of that, but let's do the way
it mixed at the top of the hour with.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Its relationship or career advice. Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
This is as what's up? His way up with Angela? Yee,
I'm here with my guy new Mana and it is
time for ask ye. We got Travis on the line.
What's up? Travis?
Speaker 7 (23:55):
Hey, what's how you doing?
Speaker 2 (23:57):
I'm good? Thank you? How you doing?
Speaker 7 (23:59):
I can be doing better? Once I found me a
place for list.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Okay, what's the problem?
Speaker 7 (24:03):
So? I was staying with a shortie for a few
years and things went enough it was plusing me. I
was cheating anyway.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
Two months ago I wound up moving out the storage unit.
But I don't have a place to list.
Speaker 7 (24:17):
So I always doubled back in with the women that
I was dealing with in the past, and things can't
work out. Surety always telling me to leave when we
get into a fight. I just don't understand why I
keep going back. I need to how to live on
my own.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
Why haven't you been able to get your own place?
Like you not have a job? What's going on?
Speaker 3 (24:35):
I do have a job. I work.
Speaker 7 (24:36):
A few months ago, I was dealing with ad watch charge.
I got a card and old corn shance, but I
was trying to keep myself out of jail, so I
was paying for a lawyer. Okay, get in your own
house the rest right now.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
So the problem is that you need to figure out
how to get some money so you can get your
own place, so you can stop relying on the women
who you don't want to be with.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
Right Definitely, having your own is the foundation everything.
Speaker 9 (25:00):
Like whereas nobody can take anything from you, nobody can
throw something in your face.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
And I get it. Sometimes life is up and den life.
Speaker 9 (25:07):
It's life, you know, and it's it's like, you know,
it's a little roller coaster, but you gotta position yourself
and once you position yourself, nobody can take it from you.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
You won't be going through this.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
And even listen, I just want to say, even if
you got to go and stay with a family member
or a friend, and when you do that, also if
you've got to contribute to the household, you know that
way nobody.
Speaker 3 (25:26):
Feels like it is it's like he likes to stay
in the house where he can get.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
Some Oh is that what it is?
Speaker 7 (25:33):
Is that what it is?
Speaker 2 (25:34):
Don't rely on a woman right now. What you need
to do is say a family member, a friend, whatever.
If you got to find a roommate, like if you
got to go on Craigslist and find a roommate and
find somebody a place where you can do like a
short term rental that's not expensive, you know, so that
you can get yourself together, start stacking up your money.
But I think the problem right now is that you're
(25:55):
too dependent on these different places to stay and it's
too much of a roller coaster. All right, Well, good luck, Travis,
and please check back.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
In with us, no doubt.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
All right, let's get this planning going. Yeah, all right,
Well that was ask ye eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty. In case you couldn't get through, you
can always leave a message. And when we come back,
I want to talk about this since we're discussing relationships.
I was talking about Love Island and Hoddah Hodda I
Love Island with Jeremiah. She talks to him crazy on
the show, and everything that's wrong in their relationship, she
(26:28):
blames him. Here's what it sounds like when she's calling him.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
A bitch by all means explore, thankube, you're as.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Keep it classy. Just so y'all know, I am not
all the way caught up on Love Island, but this
is just something that was bothering me while I was
watching it, talking to somebody crazy and calling them out
their name. I want to see what you guys think
about that and a relationship. Have you ever been in
an experience where you've done that to somebody or they've
done it to you, and how did you handle it?
Speaker 3 (26:54):
Don't play with me like that.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty Call us up.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
We're about to do this. Most famous women in radio audio.
We're talking about angela Ye, you're way up with angela Ye.
Please believe that.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
Yeah, I know that's right his way up. I'm here
at and we're talking about toxicity and relationships. This is
from Love Island, but Huddah and Jeremiah from this is
a few episodes back. I know you don't watch Love Island,
but here's how she was talking to him after an
argument by all means explore than he has keep it classy,
(27:33):
keep and she called them that b where quite a
few times. And so yeah, it's Love Island's.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Strong about somebody she just met.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Here's the thing on the show. You're supposed to explore
other dating. They hooked up early on in the show,
and so he never really explored with anybody else, you know,
at that time, and so she's mad that he was
dating someone else. But you're supposed to you know what
I mean, You're not supposed to just lock in right
away and just stay with that person. And she didn't
want him to talk to anybody else, and so that's
what that was. But I also feel like he kept
(28:04):
trying to tell her, look, you're calling me out my name,
you're doing this, and she's like, you made me this way,
like no accountability.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Well, he made you that way. That's who you are.
Speaker 2 (28:12):
And so I want to ask you this man, because
I know definitely women have called you out channing. I
like that, but they have.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
I don't play like that.
Speaker 9 (28:20):
You might have heard a couple of voice messages that
was really aggravated, but yeah, I don't play like that.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
I don't negotiate with respect because I can't do it
to you, right, And.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
That's how I thought too want the show. If you
would have been calling her a be they would have
went been.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
I've been in some some some.
Speaker 9 (28:37):
Irate arguments, but I probably started it. So if somebody
called me a name back then.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
I deserve to see and that's where it gets like
tricky not doing that no more for me. I don't
call anybody any type of names because I don't want
anybody doing it back to me. I never want to
escalate a situation. I don't want to say something that
I regret because I think once you open the door
for that, it's just a never ending.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
Let's start right. So, anytime I've been in a situation
similar to that, it was probably me.
Speaker 10 (29:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Well, I like you, I like your accountability, but I
want to see what you guys think eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty. Even if you don't watch
Love Island and you don't see that show, I want
to know what your thoughts are about people talking crazy
to each other in relationships. Some people equate that with
love too, Like if you don't talk crazy to me,
then you don't let Oh I was just you know,
so heated because I love you so much. That does
not work. You cannot disrespect somebody and then back it up.
(29:26):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Call us up, everybody,
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yee, but you're all being waiting
for oh.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Oh, you're tapped in the way up with Angela yee?
Speaker 2 (29:38):
What's up his way up with Angela? Yee. I'm here
with man now and we are talking about Love Island
Hoddah and our guy Jeremiah. The two of them are
getting into it. And here's how she was talking to
him by all means explore, thank you, you're a keep
it class to you now. I don't like that crazy talk.
I don't think women should do it. I don't think
men should do it. I don't think anybody should be
(29:59):
talking into each other crazy. And I feel like if
it was reverse, everybody would have been like but anyway,
we want to know what you guys think about talking
crazy in relationships. Courtney, you said you used to talk crazy.
Speaker 10 (30:10):
Yeah, I've been more hooda is before.
Speaker 11 (30:13):
I can see where she's coming from. I think a
lot of it is people just want their partner to
act a certain way and expect them to even though
the person's not going to change or that's not the reality.
Speaker 10 (30:22):
So I've sort of crashed out a few times like
Hooda has.
Speaker 11 (30:25):
Like when you really want someone to do things for
you and they're not, you kind of persist them to
ask them to do it and get disappointed in them
if they aren't doing it, even though it was never
really that the reality, it was just your expectation. So
I for sure had a little bit of an attitude
with my men in the past.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
But she don't take no accountability because she says she
was crashing out but she kept calling him out his name.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
What if somebody crashed out on you, how would you
feel about that?
Speaker 11 (30:53):
I guess I would just respond accordingly. But I don't
think he was really surem I wasn't really doing that,
or he wasn't really comprehending, or she just wasn't going
to do those kind of little acts that she wanted
him to do. But again, like I've been there where
she is, I've grown from that, so I wouldn't speak
to someone like that.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
No more. Don't don't do it again.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
Please, If they're not going to.
Speaker 11 (31:16):
Be making my eggs and they're not going to be,
you know, doing a little.
Speaker 10 (31:19):
Things and like a little.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Over eggs.
Speaker 11 (31:27):
If other men are making their girls eggs.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
On the show, I want my man to step up
and make.
Speaker 11 (31:34):
You know, ye make me feel special, like making what
other guys are for their girls.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
You don't think she was wrong about anything.
Speaker 3 (31:43):
I don't like that's all. She don't think she's wrong.
Speaker 11 (31:45):
I could I could have thought a bit more about
what she was saying instead of just kind of reacting quickly,
and instead of thinking it over a bit. I will
say she probably should have just cooled off and then
had an actual conversation, because once you say things like.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
That, you cannot take it back. Mm hm, you're right
about that. Well, thank you, Corney. I'm glad you've grown,
even though I thought you slide back like.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
She still slide back out shot me.
Speaker 11 (32:11):
Well, I appreciate you taking my poll.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
Thank you. All right, Well, thank you guys for calling.
I gotta go catch up on about fifteen more episodes we're.
Speaker 3 (32:18):
Going to start.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Yeah, I think you gotta start.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
It's like how many episodes.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
It's like thirty episodes now, oh yeah, But guess that
and you'll enjoy it. I think it's the right level
of toxicity for you. A lot of fun, a lot
of mixing it up.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
Tips.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
All right, Well, when we come back, it's your show.
So you have the last word back up the phone,
tapping to get your voice heard.
Speaker 8 (32:40):
What the word is?
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Here's the last word on way up with angela ye you, It's.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Way up with angela yea.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
I'm here main right.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
I'm getting vemos right now from my friends planning this trip.
It's a lot going on. There's ten of us going
on a girls trip.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
It's nice.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
It's my friend's birthday, my best Steve from high school.
And so put my card down and everybody gotta vendo
me the money. Oh but again, thank you guys for
joining us today. Mano right the twenty sixth July twenty
six data is fast approaching. A lot of women called
in today wanting to be your bride. Yeah, and they
left voice messages. I mean, I don't blame them when
(33:21):
I tell you we got a lot of voice messages.
Speaker 3 (33:23):
Did you expect anything less?
Speaker 2 (33:25):
So we got to see who we're gonna pick. This
is exciting. This is called Love Radio featuring New Mayno.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
Well, let you know what about to be locked down.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Let's hear some of these calls right now.
Speaker 3 (33:36):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
This message. This is your girl Live.
Speaker 6 (33:43):
I'm calling because i'm your wife's man.
Speaker 10 (33:45):
I am going to adding to you holistically, to making
you have good health. We're gonna keep God first. Of course,
I'm down with an open relationship. We can shop on that,
but I am definitely the one that I'll walk down
there as with you. Man.
Speaker 5 (34:02):
I just wanted to shine a light on God Man
for pushing me through everything.
Speaker 7 (34:06):
I fish get through my damn stuff.
Speaker 5 (34:07):
Man, I appreciate that man. Without him, nothing's possible.
Speaker 1 (34:13):
A little little way up, Angela Yee is way up.
