Speaker 2 (01:17):
What's up? His way up at Angela Yee, I'm here
with Akeem Woods.
Speaker 6 (01:20):
What's up?
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I know? And today I want to shine a light.
I know I've shined a lot of him before, but
I had to do it again because he just got
a new position. That would be our guy for Rri
Simmons from the ninety six point when the beat in Atlanta.
He is now the assistant program director for the station there.
He posted, I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to grow
within the iHeart Radio family and to keep doing what
(01:42):
I love right here in the city that inspires me.
Radio has always been my passion, and I'm proud to
be a part of a team that brings energy, creativity,
and connection to Atlanta every day. So shout out to
him for that and for the new position. And he's
on the air, you know what I'm saying, doing big
things and I'm gonna see him this weekend at BET Awards.
All right, now, Kellen, who do you want to shine
(02:03):
a light on?
Speaker 7 (02:04):
I want to side a line on my man, my man,
my man, Oh my man, my man.
Speaker 8 (02:09):
My husband. Baby, I'm just so proud of him. I've
known him for like nineteen twenty years. We dated off
and got married a couple of years ago.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Nice.
Speaker 8 (02:20):
And his growth has just been so beautiful. I've really
watched him growing to the man that I always knew
he could be. I'm just really proud of him. He's
becoming a praying man.
Speaker 7 (02:30):
I'm just like all feeling so good.
Speaker 8 (02:33):
So yeah, I'm just really proud of him.
Speaker 7 (02:35):
I love him so much.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
All right, Well, that's beautiful. That was Shine a Light
eight hundred and two ninety two fifty one fifty if
you couldn't get through. And when we come back, we

Speaker 6 (02:55):
Is a lot? It was a lot, all right.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
But we'll also talk about what's going to be happening
on Sunday's episode. That's going to tie into who's not
at the reunion. It's way up, they say.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
The rooms from Industry shade to all the gossip out
send angelas spilling that et what's.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Up his way up at Angela Yee, I'm here a
Keen Woods is here. I'm back and he is so
disappointed to find out about the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion.
First of all, Kenya Moore is not even invited. She
posted yesterday, I'm disappointed to not be a part of
the Real Housewives of Atlanta sixteen reunion taping today. Please no.
I take full accountability for my actions and deeply apologize
(03:34):
to all those affected, including Brittany, the cast, crew, guests,
and viewers. I look forward to seeing you all back
on Bravo soon.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
She should have pulled up.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
No, she shouldn't. It looks like she's trying to make
sure that she's you know, behind the scenes. They've had conversations,
is what it's feeling like the picture right, Yeah, of Brittany,
but interesting. According to People magazine, britt Edie also voluntarily
skipped the reunion, and that is because of ongoing tension
with her cast mates. Now what is this ongoing tension? Well,
(04:06):
in the trailer for Sunday's episode, here's what happened, Brett Porsche,
Brett pors are finished. I'm just trying to explain you
it's not it's not that explain it. You gotta let
me finish baby. No, no, no, let me finish this,
not baby, because don't baby, you don't have all I'm saying.
That's cool. You asked why would I not have feeble
drummer change? I said three moves in the chat. You
(04:29):
cut me off. I haven't said anything that you haven't
jumped in the middle of. Yes, she got into it
with Porsche girl. I don't know. It's feeling like.
Speaker 6 (04:38):
The whole castaway.
Speaker 7 (04:40):
I came.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
You don't even watch it all right, Well, that is
your u T. And when we come back, we have
about last night. That's where we discussed what we did
last night. It's way up. So about last night, yes.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
Went down.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
What's up? His way up at Angela yee and Happy Friday.
You know I'm about to head out to LA today
for BT Awards, so you know what that means. Yesterday
I was getting ready, but of course I was outside.
I'm here with my guy, a Keen Woods. I went
to the Fast Company gala yesterday. Shout out to prong
Horn my girl Aaron Hall. I was at her table. Now,
what did you do last night?
Speaker 6 (05:21):
Last night? I think I got sick.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I was singing about being sick.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
I didn't know. I went to a restaurant. We meet him.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Some friends went to a restaurant. Did you know do
you know what a C means as a grade?
Speaker 2 (05:35):
Don't eat there?
Speaker 6 (05:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (05:36):
I didn't know that. I was a C student. I
thought C was average. I at what I thought.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
It's not. I'm asking to read it.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Even when I see a B. It would make me
not go in.
Speaker 6 (05:49):
I didn't know.
Speaker 3 (05:50):
So I took a screenshot because it actually says the
C grade doesn't mean average, it's far below average. To
get a C grade, the restaurant has more than four
critical food born illnesses, which in my head is like
close it down, like ry Roll.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Is still open this see yeah, because and I'm gonna
tell you this from a person that owns like food places.
When the Department of Health comes and they do the inspection,
you want to get an A. That's always cool. And
sometimes if there's things that you need to fix, they'll
give you a pending grade and then they'll let you
have time to fix it, and then they pop back
(06:25):
up later and say, you know what's wrong, And if
you don't fix it, you still and then you get
a bad grade because they won't give you that bad
grade right away.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
I didn't see I didn't know any of that, so
I just thought set was like, girl, Oh my god,
I'm not even gonna say the restaurant because I want
to do slander.
Speaker 6 (06:40):
But I wrote a review.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
We just know it has to see.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
So come see myself June twenty six at Sugar House
in Manhattaneast Village at Kymo dot com, akam Woods dot
com to get tickets, and I will read the review
on stage.
Speaker 6 (06:52):
It's a very long, it's a very dramatic review.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (06:55):
And I say the name of the restaurant too, So
if you want to hear their name of the restaurant,
come come.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
To the show June twenty six. I'll find out. All right,
Well that is about last night, and when we come back,
we have tell Us a Secret. Oh calm down, my
favorite segment. Oh maybe you have food poisoning. And then
you went to somebody's house and blew your bathroom up,
and then you broke the toilet, but then you left.

zone because how can somebody who had flame shooting out
of there but judge you?
Speaker 6 (07:25):
That was on app But yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
This is a judgment free zone.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
Tell us a secret.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
What's up? Is what you up with? Angela? Yee, I'm
here a keen woodge is here, so you know what
that means.
Speaker 6 (07:37):
It's time to give us the tea.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
You know he can't wait to hear your secrets, and
you know he's not gonna judge you. Eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty. What's up, Anonymous? Call it?
What's your secret?
Speaker 7 (07:47):
Matthew? I am sixty weeks pregnant?
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Okay, Matthew, Okay, I guess we ain't keeping it a secret. Okay.
Is Matthew going to be Is Matthew going to be excited?
Yes he is? Yeah, congratulation.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Oh I thought he was about together for some baby
daddy drama or something.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
But that he ain't got no wife or nothing like,
So this this is a drama free.
Speaker 6 (08:11):
Yeah, you're you're not a mistress or anything.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Well wait wait wait wait so wait so you are?
Speaker 7 (08:19):
Yes, I am?
Speaker 8 (08:20):
He has a wife?
Speaker 5 (08:24):
Wait does he?
Speaker 6 (08:25):
Wait?
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Wait wait wait wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, but he's
going to be excited.
Speaker 7 (08:29):
Yes, he's going to be excited because he really wants
to leave her. And I feel like this is going
to put the battery in her back to go.
Speaker 6 (08:38):
Does she know about you?
Speaker 7 (08:40):
She doesn't know about me yet?
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Girl?
Speaker 8 (08:42):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
So he wants to leave her? Why doesn't he?
Speaker 7 (08:46):
I feel like he's just with her because she's really
holding down the fork right now.
Speaker 8 (08:50):
Because he doesn't have a job.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
So you just got a kid by it? Okay, a
mary man with no job.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
I've had my.
Speaker 7 (08:56):
Own plate I have, I'm having my own everything. He
can just come over there with me. I have no
problem with that because he is my father's south. You'll
get it together.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Oh wow, okay, so this started off, this started off.
Speaker 8 (09:08):
Really get it together.
Speaker 7 (09:09):
He's just having a rough tim or now he did,
you know, just a few months ago, so he doesn't
have it all the way together.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
He's having a really rough time now that you got
a baby. But he doesn't know yet. How long have
y'all been together? Secretly?
Speaker 7 (09:22):
So we've been talking since February of twenty twenty four.
Speaker 6 (09:26):
God, that's a long time.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
That long has he been married? Two years. Dad, he
just got yo cheating quit.
Speaker 6 (09:33):
So wait, my question is, how do you think he's
gonna be faithful to you if he cheated on his
wife within two months? What makes you think he's not
gonna cheat on you.
Speaker 7 (09:42):
I feel like I'm different, I have like a different.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
Okay, wow, I mean I know.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Well listen, just be prepared to do what you need
to do for your family because it might just be
you and the baby.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
I don't think Matt is going to be thrilled about this,
but we appreciate you call.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Care of yourself. Take care of your yourself during a
period of time. Thank you for calling, no judgment, Thank you. Well,
that was tell us a secret eight hundred and two
ninety two fifty one fifty. In case you couldn't get through,
you could leave a message for last word. And when
we come back, we got your yet, And let's talk
about our guys. Scale a baby. You know, he was
recently shot in Detroit, and we'll tell you what the
(10:22):
update is. As far as that person of interest, it's
way up.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Shure, she's about to blow the lid ab off this pot.
Speaker 6 (10:28):
Let's get it.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Oh yeah, angelus feeling that yea te.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
Come and get the tea? What's up? His way up
at Angela? Yee, I'm here a kem Witz is here?
You ready for some yet?
Speaker 6 (10:38):
What's the tea?
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Well? First off, you know, I always got to show
love to my guys. Skal a baby And according to
local reports, federal agents and the police in Detroit have
a rested a man in connection with the drive by
shooting that injured Scale a baby. That person is a
person of interest and was taken into custody after authorities
waited a home near Linwood and Davison. So it looks like, well,
(11:00):
you know, be able to close this casey soon. Yeah,
that's a good thing, all right. And innother news, Diddy
is accused of once throwing a knife at Cassie during
a violent argument her friend or I don't know this
still her friend, but one of her friends testified she
saw Diddy be violent toward her and once he burst
into Cassie's apartment threw a knife at her, and that
Cassie then picked up the knife and threw it back
(11:21):
at him, but nobody was hurt. She also said that
he dangled her over Cassie's apartment balcony. Remember there was
always a story about him dangling somebody over the balcony.
So she said that she was sleeping at Cassie's apartment.
That's when Diddy began banging on the door. He found
her on the balcony, lifting her up over the balcony
and he said, you know what the f you did?
She did not know, and she said she still does
(11:42):
not know. What did he meant by the comment. He
then slammed her down on the balcony furniture before leaving
the apartment, and she did suffer injuries. She previously followed
this civil suit against Diddy over this alleged attack. By
the way, the other thing with Ditty is as his
child is continuing. Yesterday, he was hit with the warning
in court. According to the he was told to stop
gesturing toward the jurors or he would risk getting kicked
(12:04):
out of the courtroom. They said he was nodding vigorously
while staring at them, and the judge pointed that out
to Diddy's lawyer as well.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
And you can't do that, yeah, because that's mind taxic. Yeah,
especially if someone who's famous as him. I can't imagine
being a jury on that case. That would be a
very uncomfortable, very uncomfortable because he has so much fame
and power.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Yeah, no matter what, baby, All right, well that is
your Yet when we come back, we have under the radar.
These are the stories that are not necessarily in the headlines.
They're flying under the radar, but you definitely need to
know about them.
Speaker 6 (12:36):
It's way up, relates to you.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
These stories are flying under the radar.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
What's up? His way?
Speaker 9 (12:41):
Yup?
Speaker 2 (12:41):
But Angela, yee, I'm here with akem Woods and it's
time to go under the radar.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
What's going on?
Speaker 2 (12:46):
I know?
Speaker 6 (12:46):
Right?
Speaker 2 (12:47):
All right, Well, I want to talk about the story.
Imagine you leave a tip. We think you left five dollars,
but it was really five thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
I will not have that issue because it would get
declined immediately. I do not have five thousan dollars of
my account.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
And this is terrible. So this happened to a woman,
Linda Matheeson. She was buying CBD pain relief at a
store in San Bruno, California, and she accidentally tipped five
thousand dollars. The purchase was about one hundred and thirty dollars.
She that is a crazy Now, at first, the clerk
said the charge couldn't be reversed. Then they said they
never received the money, but the bank statement does show, yes,
(13:19):
y'all did get that money. And so now this has
turned into a whole thing. She's a specially education teacher.
She lives on a fixed income. She can't just absorb
that money right now. She has no emergency savings to
fall back on. So it was devastating. And you know,
according to the US News survey, forty two percent of
Americans have no emergency savings. Even though people say you
need to have three to six months worth of expenses
(13:40):
saved up.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
Oh well I do not have that.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Yeah right, I mean, look, and you're part of that
forty two percent. A lot of people don't have that now.
Wells Fargo in the meantime, was contacted within five minutes
of the transaction, but she's saying they've done little to help,
even though they've promised zero liability protection for reported fraud.
So she said she burst it out in tears, and
this is something that's not rare. There's a lot of
(14:04):
people that have accidentally left these large tips that I said.
A woman named Verrick Connor in Georgia, she was ordering
an Italian sandwich at subway that was seven dollars and
fifty four cents, and she left a seven thousand dollars
tip by action days. Yeah, she was entering her phone
number for loyalty points. Oh no, yeah, everybody's like bad mistakes.
(14:29):
Did eventually get the charge reversed, but it was stressful
and it took a really long time for that to happen.
So if this does happen to you, here's the guidelines
of what you need. I was gonna say tips, but
this is what's causing all the problems. Act fast, so
contact your bank or your bank card provider as soon
as the transaction post. The faster, the stronger the case.
(14:49):
Most banks allow sixty days to dispute a charge. Definite.
Don't wait sixty days. Document everything, screenshot the receipt, the
payment screen, anything that you can do. Know the fine print.
A lot of banks do offer protection gets unauthorized transactions,
but not all mistakes qualify. So if you technically authorize
the payment, even if it's an accident, you can be
out of luck unless the merchant says will reverse it.
(15:10):
All right, Well, that is your under the radar, and
don't forget Godfrey is going to be joining us and
god for we trust his podcast.
Speaker 6 (15:17):
But I'm a regular arm.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Yes, he's got his special that he's going to be
filming and that's going to be happening on Thursday, June twelfth.
He's got two shows. We'll talk about it. Also, the
Way Up mixes at the top of the hour, Let's go,
and she's spilling it all.
Speaker 5 (15:29):
This is yeaty way off.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
What's up his way up at Angela Yee, I'm here
and a Keen Widge is here. Hey, and the girls
are fighting for YEATI Eli Musk versus Donald Trump. First,
I just want to say that, you know how you
know it's going to be a bad breakup before it
even happens. I knew Elon Musk and Donald Trump are
(15:54):
gonna end up with a bad breakup. Yeah, because the
way the two of them are in their egos and
buddy buddy for a moment. But I knew it was
going to clash and not and well, so I saw
that Epstein Files and Donald Trump was trending yesterday, Elon
Musk posted on X time to drop the really big bomb.
(16:14):
Donald Trump is in the Epstein Files. That is the
real reason they have not been made public. Have a
Nice Day, DJT. But things did escalate quite quickly. Now
Donald Trump is on his Truth Social platform, because you know,
the two of them are their own platforms. And Donald
Trump said the easiest way to save money in our budget,
billions and billions of dollars, is to terminate Elon's governmental
(16:36):
subsidies and contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn't
do it, because Elon does have multiple contracts with the government.
He benefits from federal subsidies, he has SpaceX Tesla. They've
gotten tax credits and other benefits over the years, billions
of dollars worth of credits. Now, Donald Trump also said
on Truth Social that he was the one who asked
Elon must to leave his administration because he was wearing thin.
(16:59):
Elon mu said, without me, Trump would have lost the election,
Dems would control the House, and the Republicans would be
fifty one to forty nine in the Senate. Such ingratitude.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
Oh America's on our last season and the writers on strike.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
It is listen this, you know, I always say politics
and anything in real life is better than any TV
show we can be watching.
Speaker 6 (17:19):
Oh my god, what's going on right now is like insane.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
The Trump supporters are probably having aneurysms because they love
Elon and they love Trump, and now it's like they
it's like they two moms are fighting and they're just.
Speaker 6 (17:30):
Like, WHOA whose house do we go there? It's Christmas?
Where do I go?
Speaker 2 (17:35):
All?
Speaker 6 (17:36):
Right?
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Well, anyway, we'll be staying tuned to see what happens
next on America.
Speaker 6 (17:42):
Find out next time in America.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
And when we come back, it is a Friday, so
we do have new music Fridays. You know, we've been
playing that new Mariah Carey type dangerous. We we all
premiered that earlier. The card is six though, let's talk
about it. It gets way up.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
To maybe everybody since with its relationship for Korean advice,
Angela's dropping facts.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
What's up? Its way up with Angela? Yee, I'm here
and comedian Aquim Woods is here with me today. It's
a billionaire comedian.
Speaker 6 (18:13):
Oh please don't tell you that lie.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
We have to put it in the atmosphere.
Speaker 6 (18:16):
Yeah, put it in an atmosphere. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
And we have asked ye, we have shaved butter on
the line. What's up? Shave butter? Baby?
Speaker 6 (18:22):
Hey?
Speaker 7 (18:22):
Girl, how you doing?
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I'm good? How are you?
Speaker 7 (18:27):
Oh good? I really need doing whole stuff though, like
for real, all right, we're listening. So I have a
baby daddy, right, yeah, I got a man as well. Okay,
but my man, he's so boring, like all you want
to do is all you want to do is talk
about trains.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
He y'all are arguing.
Speaker 6 (18:48):
Let me ask you this though. Is he boring in
the bedroom too?
Speaker 7 (18:52):
You could tell he ain't had a say okay.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Okay, he's just nice and settled in. Okay, So talk
about your baby daddy.
Speaker 7 (19:00):
You'll be with him, but like financially he takes care
of me, but we can't be because he teats so mad.
Speaker 6 (19:05):
Let me ask you a question. How please? I hope
this is rude. How old are you?
Speaker 7 (19:09):
Oh boy? You want the truth from thirty four? Baby?
I need to stop.
Speaker 6 (19:13):
Okay, God done? Yes, you already know you are thirty four.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
I'm thirty three.
Speaker 6 (19:18):
I get it. Your face is done. Sit down with
your born man and live your little dreams.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
I want to say a couple of things here. Even
though you don't like to argue and do a lot
of that, have women hit you up and been like
you know I'm messing with him and no, because the kind.
Speaker 7 (19:32):
Of girls he talked to their like real quiet. They're
like nurses and nas and you know those kind of
Facebook taking injury.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
How do you know about it?
Speaker 7 (19:43):
Yeah? I know he worked for the LBI.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
But y'are not together, so technically he can do what.
Speaker 7 (19:49):
He once exactly. And I'm me, I'm a problem to
talk to you.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Yeah, we know, girl, We we could tell.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Okay, So what would you do if your man found
out out that you were still messing with your ex
and broke up with you? Would you be devastated?
Speaker 7 (20:05):
It wouldn't. I couldn't do nothing. But like, you know what,
you're right, you are easily on the problem.
Speaker 6 (20:10):
It sounds like y'all be an open relationship. Open it
up so you could be freak on the weekend while
he's fishing.
Speaker 7 (20:16):
Yeah, she's thirty four.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
She want to finish that phase. Yeah. Do you love
this man? Then that's my question? Do you love your man?
Speaker 4 (20:28):
Don't?
Speaker 7 (20:29):
No?
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Girl? You know?
Speaker 6 (20:31):
Okay? Bye, we don't the answer.
Speaker 5 (20:33):
Leave him?
Speaker 6 (20:34):
I love you, leave him, enjoy.
Speaker 2 (20:35):
Yours And if you, if you at least like him,
don't do that to him. Don't let him be trapped
in a relationship with somebody that doesn't even love him.
Let him go out and be free like a bird,
go with the fishes and find real love.
Speaker 6 (20:47):
Let him find a boring woman.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
God.
Speaker 7 (20:50):
Oh lord, y'all right, I need to take this about it,
and I pray to God and he listens to y'all.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
Right now, I hope you look because you have a
very distinctive.
Speaker 5 (20:57):
Well listen.
Speaker 6 (20:57):
If you are listening, man, it's over. Go read books
with somebody else. Okay, I like books, by the way.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
All right, thank you girls.
Speaker 6 (21:06):
Bye.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Well that was ask ye eight hundred and two nine
two fifty fifty, just in case you couldn't get through.
And when we come back, Godfrey is going to be
joining us. I know. I love this for us, all right. Well,
he's going to be doing his new special at the
Apollo that's going down on Thursday. And make sure y'all
show up and show out. It's way out twelveth Yeah,
it's gon turn me up here we go up there.
Speaker 5 (21:27):
This is way up with Angela.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Ye, what's up as way up with Angela yee? And
my good friend Godfrey is heir.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
Yoa Li said. First of all, the Genesis, this whole thing.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
I love the fact that they booked you. And I
looked at the calend and I said, oh, Godfrey's coming.
Speaker 5 (21:44):
I thought it was weird, and I sat in your
green room.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
It was like, why is Godfrey in the green.
Speaker 5 (21:49):
I'm like, I want to just walk in and bother you.
Speaker 6 (21:52):
I'm like, you, I just want to walk in and interrupt,
I know.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
But then I was like, you know, Godfrey's gotten real Hollywood, so.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
It's really really put up.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
And you know that Club Shashay interview. What was so
funny was that I was like, he's imitating him, but
he knows.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Yes, people think that I was imitating Shannon Sharp.
Speaker 6 (22:09):
Unbeknownst to him.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
First of all, he a'll make Shannon Sharp is I'm
not gonna clown him if you He said, hey, Godfield,
I want you to do me and you interview me
as me. And I said all right, and we we
planned it. It wasn't like, oh, let me clown Shannon Sharp.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
It just was such a regular conversation. But it was
so the way it looked was you were talking to
him like him, but he wasn't reacting. You know how
before I know, I'm glad this happened. Do they know how.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
Big Shanny Sharp is?
Speaker 1 (22:37):
They talk all that smack, but when you see him,
you're like, oh, hey, Shannon, I was just joking.
Speaker 6 (22:42):
He would you go right now?
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Godfrey is here with us. You know that's my guy.
He really helped me kick off way up with ye
Isn't that crazy how fast the tides turn and then
can turn back because I feel like we're Shannon Sharp.
All that drama happened, and then I feel like we
kind of forgot about it.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
That well because it was bogus and you know, it's
not like the person was underage.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
It was just somebody trying to get a bag.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
And I think it's great that he's joking on himself.
And I told Jan and I said, man, make fun
of yourself. Man, what are you gonna do? What else
you gonna do?
Speaker 5 (23:13):
Right?
Speaker 6 (23:13):
Well, I think, you know.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
The thing for him was also people feel like he
had this big deal on the table A hundred yeah.
Speaker 5 (23:20):
I know, and he probably, but here's.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
The Then he ended up postponing the tour, like I
shouldn't do this.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
But I think he's gonna be just fine. He's great
at what he does. The show is amazing. And my
thing is it almost seems like like Zion the ballplayer
Williams all of a sudden, this girl's coming out really
because it's always like somebody with a lot of dope.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
That's what we hear about, right Listen.
Speaker 6 (23:44):
I don't want that to happen to anyone celebrities.
Speaker 5 (23:47):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Also at the same time, know that there's a lot
of women who thinks have happened to that are quiet
about it. And that's the Trevi will never speak about.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
Its ruins it for them when it's constantly you're like
are you sure? And then they end up lying.
Speaker 5 (24:00):
You know, it's just weird because everybody's trying to get
it back. So then you go, wow, what is this about?
You understand where coming from?
Speaker 2 (24:05):
I mean it's hard because like even with the whole
catchy thing, no one believed her till the video came
out of her getting like beat up in the hallway.
Everybody that video came out, they were like, oh damn,
like this really happened. Because sometimes we can put people
in a certain and I don't mean you idolizing anybody,
but sometimes people can idolize someone to the point where
they don't believe that that person could have done something
like this. So we don't know who did what, and
(24:27):
so we don't know what's true. We don't know what's
not true. So I never liked because even if somebody
gets found not guilty or guilty, those things could also
be wrong, you know what I mean. And that's what's
really risky about women coming forward to say anything, because
it's really hard to prove.
Speaker 6 (24:42):
We just just stop interacting with each other.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Godfrey is here and we got so much more with
him when we come back. He's got stories for days.
I could just sit back and I say a damn word.
We got more Godfrey's were about to do this, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:56):
Yeah, more way up with ANGELI on now you know
who it is?
Speaker 2 (25:02):
What's up? His way up at Angela and Godfrey is
here with us today, Comedian Godfrey the Special. Yes, are
gonna be filming special June twelfth from Specials But June
twelfth at the Apollo you have two shows.
Speaker 5 (25:17):
Two shows six o'clock and nine pm. Also, so it's
over a due.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Almost twenty seventeen, Dan toying to know, he said, ask
about Shaq's involvement.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
Shack is the one that called me one day, because
he likes to call me randomly on FaceTime, he.
Speaker 5 (25:33):
Goes, gofers, don't do your specially find the place. Let
me know. I said, I'm gonna I think I'm gonna
do Sony Hall.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
About five hundred people come on, take outside the books
and figure break it out some of your comfort zone.
Speaker 6 (25:46):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
I come back.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
Hey, we're thinking maybe King's Theater in Brooklyn or the
Apollo too big?
Speaker 2 (25:53):
This one's just right yea.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
So I have an amazing producer, Rachel Frasier. I said, hey,
I think it's Apollo. She goes, Okay. Next day I
got the Apollo.
Speaker 5 (26:04):
What wow? That's she gets it done. And people are
like it's about time.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
I mean I felt that way too. But even when
you were coming here and like paying attention to me
before and caring about this show, I was like, when
is God going to do? We had a whole conversation
and you were like, maybe I should do a go funny,
and then you didn't want to do a go for it.
It's like a whole.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah, And I raised money and go fund me. My
fans were like money going to the comedy show.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
Right now, Godfrey is here with us. You know that's
my guy. He really helped me kick off way up
with you. So what happened? So this is part of
the goal.
Speaker 5 (26:37):
Yeah, I happen because I wanted to money. Sha let me.
Speaker 6 (26:44):
She always goes through it.
Speaker 5 (26:45):
I don't ask, he offered me. I said, oh, I'm
raised some money.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
Then Will i Am came to my show, just popped
up and said, hey man, you know I'm a big fan,
right And so he goes, hey, do my podcast and
I did it, and at the end of the podcast,
he goes, what are you doing?
Speaker 5 (26:58):
I said, hey, you know what, I'm raising money to
do a special.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
And I hate that. You hate to say you're raising
money because even your facial expression when you're like I'm
raising money, like I'm raising money.
Speaker 5 (27:08):
Well, I don't know. I've never done it. And then
Will i Am said, hey man, I'm gonna send you
some money. I said, O cool. I think he's gonna
send me, like, you know, a hundred dollars something like.
That's cool. And he sent me some money. Wow, I
was like, he said, did you get it?
Speaker 2 (27:21):
He was like yeah, So what does he get out?
Speaker 5 (27:25):
So you don't even remember that he sent it to me.
He goes I did. I said, yeah, man.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Thanks crazy, and I kind of want to play something
for y'all.
Speaker 5 (27:36):
Is this the yes? And I don't know him like that,
but I know he's liked some of my reels.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Ready, dear Brother's Rock here, just checking in with you, man.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
I just saw your post about the Apollo Dude.
Speaker 7 (27:52):
Amazing, man. I love it all right, dude, you.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Keep killing it. We'll talk to congrats on That sounds
like he's hiking. Well, he said, that's dope.
Speaker 6 (28:00):
He's right lifted weights Rock. I'm lifting a building right now,
throwing people out the window.
Speaker 1 (28:05):
That was like because I was in North Johanna, but Donald,
I accidentally left you a message.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Now when we come back, it would normally be last word,
but today, since Godfrey's here, we're gonna let him have
those last words. More Godfrey on way up with you?
Speaker 5 (28:25):
You, way up with Angela ye?
Speaker 9 (28:28):
More?
Speaker 6 (28:29):
Now what's up?
Speaker 2 (28:30):
His way up with Angela yee? And my guy Godfrey
is here taking the place of what would have been
last word? Do you ever use AI for anything to
I'm going to test something out right now. What I
just want to see because I want to see what
jokes should Godfrey tell and I'm gonna ask Chad TVT.
I'm just curious. All right, here's what it says. What
(28:50):
if Donald Trump was a Nigerian uncle, he'd be like,
believe me, I am the best uncle. I have the
best goats. Nobody raised goats better than men, the.
Speaker 5 (29:01):
Best goats ever. My goats said.
Speaker 10 (29:04):
The best bid good goats, My guts, You're fantastic.
Speaker 6 (29:09):

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Yes, yeah, look at that. Look at that left, My man.

can't just swipe on everybody.
Speaker 5 (29:25):
Is that what you're doing?
Speaker 6 (29:26):
Huh? Gotta swipe left. If you don't like you, what
do you do?
Speaker 2 (29:30):
Now?
Speaker 5 (29:30):
What are we gonna do? We're gonna swipe, just wipe left,
swipe right.
Speaker 2 (29:34):

I I haven't.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
It might be kind of funny for you to.
Speaker 5 (30:10):

Speaker 6 (30:11):
Nigerian uncle, I want some food.
Speaker 10 (30:15):
