Speaker 1 (00:01):
Yo.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Its way up at Angela yee and Happy Thursday. Oh
isn't it virgo season? You know is a virgo? Meeks
is a virgo. Manos a virgo. Well, anyway, it is
virgo season. So much going on. I just got back
from DC literally and shout out to everybody at the
National Foundation of Credit Counseling. We had some great conversations.
I'm in a good mood today. It's almost the weekend.

(00:29):
So you know what, We're gonna do what we always do,
Start to show up with some love and some positivity.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Let's shine a light eight hundred to nine two fifty
one fifty. Call us up.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Let us know who you would like to shine a
light on. Again, that's eight hundred to nine two fifty
one fifty.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Call us up. When we come back, we're gonna shine
a light on them.

Speaker 4 (00:46):
It's way up, a shine turn your lights on, y'all,
light spreading love to those who are doing greatness.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Shine a light on, shine a light on. It's time
to shine a light on.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
What's up is way up, but Angela yee, and it's
time to shine a light. And today I want to
shine a light on my girls.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Shilanda Armstrong.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
She's the founder and managing partner at one hundred KM Ventures.
It's based in Washington, DC, and what they do is
invest in early stage companies pre seed through Series A
within the future of work and women's health.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Now, I want to say this is so important to.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Us because right now, in particular, a lot of things
that are black owned and women owned are under attack.
And prior to that, she was an angel investor investing
in over thirty startups. She spent close to twenty years
in the tech sector. So shout out to Shilana just
making all those important connections, but also having a BC
fund and being a young black woman really doing it

(01:42):
and really helping other businesses. And I will say, even
when she doesn't have the funding to give to you,
she has no problem connecting you with people who she
thinks would be a good fit. And that's so important
because a lot of people like gatekeepers out here, But
with Shilanda Armstrong, she's the type of person who's like,
I may not be able to help you with my
particular fun but here's who can, and she'll literally connect

(02:03):
you with some amazing people. So we all need a
Shilanda in our lives now, justin, who do you want
to shine a light on?

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Jevin Pool, that's my girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Talk to me. How long y'all been together while you
shining a light? Oh?

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Four years?

Speaker 5 (02:15):
Then if you get a graduate to college?

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Wow, So you guys have been together since teenagers laught?

Speaker 2 (02:21):
So now what are you gonna move in together? What's
the plan?

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Yeah, we're gonna move in, all right.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
What you're doing now for a living?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
All right?

Speaker 6 (02:30):
Now?

Speaker 3 (02:31):
All right, so you make a nice, good living, you
think that's gonna be your wife one day?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Well, yeah, come on, say the right thing.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (02:43):
All right, Well, thank you for calling. All right, thank you?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
That was shining Light eight hundred and two ninety two
fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you could
always call us up and shine a light that way.
And when we come back, let's talk about young thugs.
So it was on social media that he was a
snitch after some video leaked out. So we'll tell you
how he responded, but also how the person he allegedly
snitched on responded as well. It's way up, they says,

(03:07):
soothing the rooms from industry, shade to all.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Of gossip out, Send man angelus spilling that.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yet what's up his way up at angela yee and
the time for your ee te. So let's talk about
this Young Thug situation. Now he's facing backlash. There is
a two hour interrogation audio that leaked online and people
are talking about him, name dropping pee Wee Roscoe. That's
the man who allegedly shout at Little Wayne's toward bus

(03:34):
back in twenty fifteen.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
And here is some of what that sounded like.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Oh, they said, I ain't finna block y'all.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Casey well, Young Thug took to social media and clearly
he is responding to this video. He said, they didn't
play my interrogation video in court because I helped my
brother hashtag rat wear Now. Pee Wee Roscoe also cleared
up the situation.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 7 (04:02):
A snitch is someone that could ply with the government
just bargaining for their freedom when they have done something
leagal Man, Jeff uh clean his Listerine Man cleans the
Ivorage soap. You feel what I'm saying I'd done the
time I did that.

Speaker 8 (04:15):
That's what you're supposed to do when you want to
tell gays room, That's what you do.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
I guess you know that leaves no question right all right, Now,
Diddy has got another legal win that sexual assault case
back in February with a John Doe who alleged to
be an aspiring singer who says that he and Diddy
had been building a work relationship and this happened in
the mid twenty tens.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
He said things took.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
A horrific turn at an afterparty night club in La
Diddy was about to offer him a contract. He said
that he had a drink allegedly that did he gave
him passed out and he was having unwanted sexual contact
with Diddy.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Well that has gotten thrown out.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Okay, So Tony Buzby filt the lawsuit and it looks
like that's another win. So did He still has to
go court, you know, he's still getting sentenced. He'll find
out the faith from his federal trial on October third.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
But this is a win for him regardless. That's your ut.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
And when we come back, we have about last night.
That's where I'll discuss what I did yesterday. I told
you I was in Washington, d C. With the NFCC
that's the National Foundation for Credit Counseling I'll tell you
how that all went down. I know you guys are
concerned about your credit, and I know there's a lot
of things that we have to make sure we don't avoid. Well,
I'm gonna give you all some tips when we come back.
It's way up who night night?

Speaker 1 (05:32):
So about last night? Yes I went down.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
What's up his way up at Angela Yee And it's
time for about last night.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
So yesterday I was in DC.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
I was a little nervous to go to DC because
of everything that I've been watching on the news. And
I will say, when you get to Union Station there
there's a bunch of you know, booths set up and
one of them.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Definitely said f Trump really big.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
But I was there for the NFCC, the National Foundation
at Credit Counseling. We did this panel and this was
basically the keynote for this conference that the National Foundation
at Credit Counseling has. I was with Stacy Tisdale, but
I was also with Christie from Wells Fargo and some
of the conversations that we had were about home ownership.
But some of the reasons why, you know, sometimes we

(06:19):
are really reluctant to put our money in the bank
why are we going to check cashing places that are
charging us these.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
Exorbitant fees to cash checks?

Speaker 3 (06:27):
And what are some of the myths around home ownership,
what are some of the obstacles that we put on ourselves.
And those were the discussions that we were having, and
we were just talking about actionable things, but also things
on the side of corporations and banks and how can
they be more of assistance and meet us where we
are at in the community. So, you know, real estate
and investing has been such an important topic for me.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
You know, I remember doing an.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Interview and people have told me that if they can't
buy a house with cash, they don't want to buy
a house at all. They don't want to have a mortgage.
They think that debt is like the worst possible for you.
But also understanding that not having any type of debt
or any type of credit cards or anything like that
that can actually really hurt your credit score, right because

(07:10):
they want to see you have a track record of
paying things back. They want to see how responsible you are.
So just really great conversations about money, things that I
didn't know growing up. And so look for us to
do some more with the NFCC and it's also important
to know that you can work with credited organizations that
are not going to charge you money to do things

(07:31):
like help you with their credit or help you with
debt consolidation and.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
All of those things.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
So just know you can go to the NFCC to
feel comfortable and confident knowing that these are people that
are actually accredited and that are not trying to get
into your pockets. Okay, all right, well that is about
last night. Now when we come back, let's talk about
the top rap albums of the twenty first century. You
already know this is going to be an argument. Dan,
I might need you to hop on this. I know

(07:56):
you're sick and you're wearing a mask, but you know
the top wrap albums of the two tenty first century,
according to Billboard. I want to get into it because
number one, what could you think it is?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
I don't know, guys. We got to discuss this. It's
way up up here, we go up good.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
This is way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Its way up with Angela Yee, And it is time
to talk about Billboard's top rap.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Albums of the twenty first century.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Now, I got to call in a panel for this
Dan my producers here, Meek is walking past, and we
got to talk to you Meek, also because I want
to hear your thoughts. You like hip hop, I love
dru music. I don't think any drill Well, no, I'm lying.
There's actually one drill album in the top ten rap albums.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
All right.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
So number ten on the list was Juice World, Good Buying,
Good Riddance, Number nine, j Cole twenty fourteen, Forest Hills Drive,
number eight The Weekend.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Is that a hip hop a rap album?

Speaker 8 (08:48):
No, it's not. I was kind of surprised when my solo.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Dani I Do I love Lyka I love I don't
think that's a rap album.

Speaker 8 (08:55):
No, it's not. Honestly, Also, they said it's the Highlights album,
and that's also like not a real album. That's kind
of like a greatest hits album.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Somebody there is your friend, all right?

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Number seven, Kenjack Lamar Damn, Number six Pop Smoke, Shoot
for the Stars, Aim for the Moon. You said you
like drill, Meek, so that's right up your alley. Five
is post Malone, Hollywood's Bleeding. I like post Malone certain
so I've never listened to the whole album. Though I
will say that Number four Sizza Sos. I'm a Scissa
stand I'm gonna say that first, but that's not a

(09:26):
rap album.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
I think Sissa did not even put that out. Who
made this is like.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
R and B and hip hop. This is not a
rap list. Yeah, they're putting it together. That's not fair.
Number three is Drake Would Take Care, Number two Kenjack
Lamar a Good Kid, Mad City, and number one was
Little Baby.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
With My Turn. What do y'all think about that? Number one?

Speaker 8 (09:45):
No, I just want to say My Turn was literally
the soundtracks of COVID. For me, I listened to that
album so much.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
That came out February twenty twenty.

Speaker 8 (09:53):
Was a smash okay.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Number one of the twenty first century.

Speaker 8 (09:58):
I don't agree with it being number It should have
been kid Mas City. So what should be number one?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Then?

Speaker 8 (10:01):
Good Kid, Mad City, Kendrick I.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Could see that.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
I'm trying to think of who else would I have
put on this list? Though, Like you know, that's such
a huge undertaking because it's the twenty first century. It's
not like of the past decade or anything like that.
It's like the past what twenty five years? I also
have a problem with the fact that Sizza, as an
R and B artist made the list.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Where's all the women rappers?

Speaker 8 (10:26):
Yeah, Nikki deserves to be on that list. The thing
is this only the top ten.

Speaker 3 (10:30):
But I will say, of course, you know, when you
do a list like this, everybody's arguing.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
So there you have it.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
All right, well that is your top ten Listen, you guys,
please weigh in on this past and when we come back,
we got your yet. You know what, let's talk about
Cardi B when we come back. Cardi B could have
easily been on that list too, don't you.

Speaker 8 (10:46):
Think invasion of privacy? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, I think she could have been on that list too.
But let's talk about her taking the stand. There's this
assault trial from a twenty eighteen incidents.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
That will give you some of those highlights. All right,
it's way up.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
Show blow this spot, let's get it. Oh yeah, angelus
feeling that yee tea, Come and.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Get the tea.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
His way up at angela yee And it's time for
your yee tea. So Carti B has taken the stand
in this ongoing assault trial. This is all about a
twenty eighteen incident that happened with the hospital security guard.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
She's being sued by imani Ellis.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Now, imani Ellis is saying that Cardi verbally and physically
assaulted her while she was visiting a Beverly Hills medical
building while pregnant with culture. Now Carti is saying something different.
She said there was no contact, just a verbal exchange
because emani Ellis was filming her. Here is what emani
Ellis had to say.

Speaker 9 (11:38):
She was like, just what, I'm going to beat your
I'm gonna get you fires body shaming me, I mean
racial slurs.

Speaker 8 (11:48):
Did she spit on you?

Speaker 2 (11:49):
She did?

Speaker 8 (11:50):
Did her spit actually land.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
On your body?

Speaker 2 (11:52):
It did?

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Now Carti b on her behalf had this in response,
she went live.

Speaker 7 (11:58):
And my fans quadi and she was just practically saying
all of these lies about me and stuff like that.

Speaker 8 (12:03):
And I was like, did not touch that girl at all.

Speaker 6 (12:07):
She was telling other people that you assaulted her or
hit her, did something physical.

Speaker 8 (12:11):
Correctly, Yes, I was trying to get so money. How
do you know that? Because she saw me for twenty
four million dollars.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
I will say this, though there was no surveillance footage
of this alleged incident According to Carti, she said the
encounter lasted less than a minute before staff stepped in.
And so I also can't see how this will stand.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Without any evidence.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
You know, this is really just hearsay, And Carti is
stressing that she believes that this is really just a
money grab, all right, So I'm just letting y'all know that.
And I hate to talk about Carti and then talk
about Offset, but we're gonna do it. Offset was on
the Full Send podcast and he is saying that he
will never get married again. People always say that and

(12:56):
then they do end up getting married again. But anyway,
here's what he had to say.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
You'd never get married again, and you think, no.

Speaker 8 (13:01):
It's not for me. I've done it. I had three
kids with it.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
It's like a mission that's been complete.

Speaker 8 (13:09):
So would you recommend marriage or would you say.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Unless you're cool with changing your life entirely.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Listen, he had a good experience until he didn't. You know,
things went left.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
They definitely were going at each other's throats. I feel
like at some point it's all gonna calm down and
maybe they'll both move on with their lives and be
able to at least be cordial Now. Another thing that
Off said in this interview is that Gunna is one
of his favorite rappers to work with.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
You just know the pockets to be in about solve
each other good ideas.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Have you guys been in the city a lot together
for the past year?

Speaker 1 (13:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Did you get like any flack for like working with Gunner.

Speaker 8 (13:44):
Or like don't be my business?

Speaker 2 (13:46):
So like, Nah, I don't no flack.

Speaker 8 (13:48):
He taught me.

Speaker 7 (13:48):
About you listen to like tune it out and get
to what people really love you for.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
That is a good lesson though, And I always said
that about Gunna.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
He just kept on going, kept on working, didn't do
no interviews and hasn't fed into any of like the
mannas around him, and it's been working for him now.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
In the meantime, Offset has gotten.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
A lot of rave reviews for his album Kiari, but
early sales don't.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Look like it all right.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
I will say that according to the numbers, he is
gonna move about twenty eight thousand units in that first week.
First week numbers aren't always the b all end all,
but for some people it's a good indication. Everybody wants
those great first week sales. He's also been doing quite
a press run, so I would have expected more from that,
But anyway, that is your et and when we come back,
we have under the radar. These are the stories that

(14:33):
are flying under the radar, but you need to know
about them. But today we cannot do that because what
a tragedy in Minneapolis yesterday. We're going to give you
the details and the update of what we know so far.
This is a really awful tragedy. It's way up the
news news.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
What's epp is way up with the Angela Yee And
it's time for your under the radar stories.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Now, normally these are stories that are not headlines.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
But there is no way that we cannot offer our
condolences for everybody affected by what happened in Minneapolis. Gunmen
actually killed two children and injured at least seventeen others.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
This was at a Catholic.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
School, Annunciation Catholic School, and the principal remembered the children
who died. Here is what Matthew Debauer had to say.

Speaker 6 (15:22):
I love you, You're so brave, and I'm so sorry
this happened to us today. Within seconds of this situation beginning.
Our teachers were heroes, children were duck down. Adults were
protecting children. Older children were protecting younger children, and as
we heard earlier, it could have been significantly worse. Without
their heroic action, we lost two angels today. Please continue

(15:44):
to pray for those still receiving care.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
The shooter has been identified as a transgender woman and
has videos posted online and a handwritten manifesto and killed
Donald Trump and for the children was written on gun magazines.
Robin west Men, who was formerly known as Robert Westman,
opened fire through stained glass windows of a church at

(16:06):
the Annunciation Catholic School, where he actually graduated from in
twenty seventeen, according to a year book. Now hours before
this awful massacre, he posted a series of videos on
YouTube with that manifesto.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
According to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
O'Hara, he talks about being that scary, horrible monster standing over.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Those powerless kids.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
He admires the twenty twelve Sandy Hook massacre. He also,
I can't say any of this. This is awful, this
is disgusting, and this is hurtful. So I don't even
want to repeat any of these things. But again, my
condolences go out to the families of the children who
were murdered, senselessly murdered, and the people who were injured

(16:49):
and everybody who was affected. I can't even imagine what
it must be like for other students that have had
to witness that. Again, my condolence is and that is
your under the radar. And now we do have a
lot more for the show today. We do have ask
ye eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty
any question you have, I'm here to help you out.
Of course we have more yet and we have the

(17:10):
way it mixed at the top of the hour, Willa,
she's like.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
The talk like they and Jelie Jean like they and
Jealie Jean, and.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
She's spilling it all. This is yee t walla.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
What's up his way up at Angela yee and it's
time for your yee t so love Hiland.

Speaker 2 (17:28):
That drama continues. Amaya and Brian have split up.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
There was speculation before the reunion because they both had
ut followed each other. Now on the reunion, it seemed
like they were defending their relationship. They were good to go,
but unfortunately for them, afterward, looks like it's no good.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
You know, there was this viral video of him partying
with other women.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
She actually helped defend him at the reunion, but it
looks like all in all things did not work out.
She posted my papayas Brian and I are no longer together.
After leaving the village, it became very clear that we
were on two different shore. These our visions didn't align,
and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You
don't have to drink the whole sea to know it's salty.
All love here and I truly wish him the best.

(18:09):
That's sound a little shady. I don't know if that
felt like you're really wishing him the best now. Brian
also responded with his own posts. He said, as many
of you already know, Amaya and I have decided to
go our separate ways. Unfortunately we were not on the
same page, and that is okay. We have both gained
clarity that we are on different paths right now. I'm
thankful for the time he spent together, and I wish

(18:30):
her nothing but the best moving forward. I guarantee you
at some point soon this is all gonna spiral into
something else. It all starts off with wishing the other
person the best, but it feels like there's a little
shade being thrown already.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
All right.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
Now, another thing that happened was Ace went and sat
down with Speedy Mormon. Shout out to Speedy, and he
had some things to say about what he believed Nick
and Alanjia's relationship was like. Now A says that Nick
told him that he did not have a romantic spark
with Alandria.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
As a matter of fact, here's what he said.

Speaker 8 (19:03):
It was a matter of it is not an romantic spark.
They just stand the financial attractive.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
Well, Alandria went on social media and posted, chow anyway,
my event at Tuskegee went amazing yesterday. Now, the other
thing he said, and this felt like some shots again
at Olandria, is that there's only one other real relationship
on the show, and here's who it is.

Speaker 6 (19:24):
Do you think that the other relationships that have come
from Love Island are real? Yeah, Taylor and Clark, that's
for sure real, and the other one is not so much.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Or when I tell you this, Love Island has spawned
so many different other things going on. I mean, I
can't even imagine how they're gonna top all of the
aftermath next year. All right, and Drake has joined several
generations of Degrassi stars that going.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Down memory lane.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
It's a new documentary that's diving deep into the show.
It's called Degrassi Whatever it takes. And here's the trailer.

Speaker 1 (19:59):
I didn't have a great time in high school.

Speaker 8 (20:02):
I just didn't really fit in.

Speaker 10 (20:03):
I went to a high school for the performing arts
and there was a notice about auditions for this new
kids show.

Speaker 8 (20:10):
And then one.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Day my mom called me and told me you got
the role. And I just grabbed my bag and left.
And man, what a wild journey that started.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
You know, some people thought that Drake was like rebooting Degrassi,
but I don't think that's what this is. All right, Well,
that is your yee t And when we come back,
we have asked Yee eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty any question you have, I got you.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
It's way up.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Thanks, all right, everybody exist, whether it's relationship for career advice,
Angela's dropping facts, so you should you should know.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
This is ask ye what's up?

Speaker 3 (20:44):
His way up with Angela Yee, And it's time for
ask Yee eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Any question I got you?

Speaker 3 (20:51):
And you know you can also always leave a voicemail
at that number and we'll answer your question that way.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
If you're on the.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
iHeartRadio app, you can click on that little microphone and
I still you. So today we do have a voicemail here.

Speaker 5 (21:03):
It is Hey, Angelia, this is Brandy from Nars Town.
I need some advice. I've been digging this guy for
like fifteen months and I definitely love him more than
he loves me. But no matter what I do, I
cannot break away from him. It's almost like ruining my life,
taking over my daily activities because I am completely and

(21:26):
utterly obsessed with this.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
Man who sins I feel your pain.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
It feels like you are infatuated, obsessed with somebody who
is not reciprocating that, and probably the idea of that
challenge is making you even more obsessed with this person,
like feeling like how can I get him to feel
this way about me, and not knowing that you deserve
somebody who is just as obsessed with you as you

(21:51):
are with them. So here's some things that you need
to do if you're in contact with this person.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Cut off communication.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
Also think of things that you can do to occupy
your time, stay busy. You know, I think it does
take some time to get over something like that, and
I feel like your infatuation is probably based in some
insecurities that you have with yourself, and that's why you
need to work on things for you because this is
consuming too much of your time, too much of your

(22:19):
emotion and even you know that it's not going.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Anywhere all right.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
So if this is something that you need support from
friends where you can be like, look, I'm gonna just
need you, like to just spend a little extra time
with me. I'm gonna text you instead of texting him.
Just help me through this time because it is going
to just take time for that to happen. And don't
be too hard on you. You know, sometimes these things
are not easy and it can feel like damn, I'm
a loser.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Why do I feel like this?

Speaker 3 (22:46):
But clearly this is something like for you and we
all have these feelings and insecurities and not feeling like
we're good enough at times, and just know that you are.
And I really do encourage you to like have a life.
You don't have to date, but do go out with
other people, and you never know what can happen, and
just envision what it's going to be like to be
with somebody who treats you the way that you deserve

(23:07):
to be treated, who respects you, who loves you, who
is all about you. That's what you need in your life,
not somebody who is treating you like you're not even
important enough to them, and you deserve that.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
So it's just really a process. Give yourself grace. Know
that it's going to take time.

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Listen, there might be times as you slip up, but
set some boundaries for yourself where you're not looking at
their timeline, you're not stalking them, you're not calling that person,
you're not texting them. And over time it will get better,
I promise you, and one day you'll look back and
be like, damn, what the hell was I thinking? All right,
well that is ask ye. Now when we come back,
you know, we got to talk about lift service. We

(23:46):
had Erica Banks and her girlfriend Droll Montana on.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
That's right, her girlfriend. If you've been watching Love and
Hip Hop.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Keep up you see she got a new boo all right,
and the two of them are really cute together.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
So we got some lift service highlights for you. It's
way up is what you all been waiting for.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
You tapped in the way up with Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Its way up with Angela Yee and it's time to
talk about some litz service.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (24:14):
We actually had Rika Bangs, who is hilarious, and Draw
Montana on. If you've been watching Love and Hip Hop,
you know that there are a couple and there's been
a lot going on with their relationships.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
So first off, are they in love?

Speaker 3 (24:28):
And who said? At first, here's what they had to say.
We're on tour, so I'm seeing her every day.

Speaker 9 (24:32):
So by day four, it was just a good time
and it was something I love yous and it was
it was all.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
I love you that fast. Yeah, sometimes it's just happy.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
Who said it first? Like, tell me the okay?

Speaker 2 (24:46):
I said it? Did you mean it?

Speaker 8 (24:48):
I meant I wish is what felt weird?

Speaker 9 (24:50):
I'm like, I'm like, why, I feel right even though
this is wrong?

Speaker 3 (24:55):
And then it looked like they were engaged, okay, because
Joe Montana actually went to Ara Bank's father and spoke
to him about, you know, asking for Erica's hands in marriage.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
And here's what she had to say about that. Are
y'all officially engaged that.

Speaker 9 (25:11):
I'm glad you're asking about that because everybody keep asking like,
how does your mom feel about it? Because we never
really got my mom's reaction. My dad is super on board,
you know, he's a pastor, so it's kind of crazy.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
My mom.

Speaker 9 (25:20):
She's still getting around to it, but I'm letting her
take her time with that. And how does your family
feel about your relationship with Oh?

Speaker 2 (25:25):
They love it now.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
You know, love and hip hop is all about catching
you off guard. I know y'all been watching all the
and amn DC stuff this season, but anyway, had anything
ever caught Erica Banks off guard on the show? Here's
what she had to say about that.

Speaker 9 (25:39):
It was something Carli where he had going on. But anyway,
I was right there and she was telling me she
was going to introduce me to her new fiance or
her boyfriend or whatever he was at the time. And
I did not know that this guy was actually at
the time, I think the president of fifteen oh one.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Hey.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
He was like what's up? He I was like, why
aren't you here?

Speaker 1 (25:58):
Why am I man?

Speaker 9 (26:00):
And he was like, oh, you didn't know I was
gonna be here. I said no because at the time
we weren't on good terms. He was like, well, let's
just get some drinks and I was like, yeah, on
this camera is basically just get some drinks.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Right, all right, Well, you can watch that full interview
of Lift Service on my YouTube channel Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
And when we come back, you guys, this is your show.
So you have the last word.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Take up the.

Speaker 4 (26:21):
Phone, tapping it gets your voice heard.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
What the word gives the last word on Way Up

so you have the last word.

I would like to shine a light on Michelle's Foundation,
celebrating her fourteenth year of giving back to the state
of New Jersey. Her annual Vacy School Drive is held
every year in the state of New Jersey. She has
also contributed to Jamaica, Guana and some other parts of
the Creeman. So shout out to Michelle's Foundation.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
This is MS Delli and I'd like to shine a
light on all the.

Speaker 10 (27:34):
Good young fathers coming up in the world.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
There are a lot of young fathers who are doing
what a lot of older guys are not doing, and
I need to shine some light on them. Right now,
she's going

Speaker 1 (27:46):
