Speaker 4 (01:39):
It's way up at Angela yee. I'm here with my
guy main now and it's trying to shine a light.
And today I'm going to shine a light on somebody
who has built an incredible business. And that person is
the co founder of Helicocktail. That's Jamari Pinkard and he
started this business with his two best friends. They have
now partnered with Delta Airlines TGI Fridays. He was actually

(02:01):
an NFL consultant and he even worked with Diagio because
of his expertise and managed to quit his nine to
five and now runs that business.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
So shout out to him.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I don't know if you guys have seen helicocktails, but
their products are run over twenty thousand restaurants, bars, airplanes,
and retailers. They also have a five million dollar deal
with Uncle Nearest. And that's really imagine going into business
with three of your you know, just three friends going
into business and creating a product. And it took them
some time to make it happen. It launched in twenty twelve.
It was definitely a slow burn. People had their day jobs.

(02:35):
But now look at where they are, so shout out
to them.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Yeah, that's a lot of motion.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Yeah. And I first met to Mari when he was
working at Pronghorn, which is a two hundred million dollar
fund that's part of Dagio, and now he's got his
own business.

Speaker 5 (02:48):
Nice.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
All right, Well that is my shining light now, Kleb,
who do you want to shine.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
A light on.

Speaker 7 (02:54):
I'm a beautiful black wife which had a baby about
a year ago and she got a promotion at her job.

Speaker 5 (02:59):
She just killing it right now on the game.

Speaker 3 (03:01):
So what's her name?

Speaker 7 (03:02):

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Congratulations? How long have you guys been married.

Speaker 7 (03:06):
We're going on a year now of marriage.

Speaker 5 (03:08):
We've been together for about four now, s y'all.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
I wasn't playing. You got married and had a baby
within a year. Okay, I see you, yeah, miss I.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Mean Harry Listen.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
I was always told when you find a good when
you lock them up.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
So that sounds crazy. I don't say it like that.
You lock in.

Speaker 7 (03:28):
No, yeah, you lock in, you lock in, So I
definitely locked in. And uh, this is for.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
The for the long run.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
All right.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Well, shout out to you guys. We love you, Jalen,
thank you for calling, Thank you.

Speaker 5 (03:40):
All right.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Well that was Shining Light eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get through.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
And when we come back, we have your yee te Well,
John want to.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
See a Center sequel, Well, there was a rumor there
is going to be one, but that Ryan Coogler wouldn't
be involved.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
We'll talk about it.

Speaker 6 (03:54):
It's way up, they say in the rooms from industry
Shade to all of guys.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
That angels, it's way up at Angela. Yeah, just said
something I agree with.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
But we'll talk about that in a second. Let's get
into this ditty trial. And here's some breaking news right now.
As proceedings began today, According to TMZ, they actually had
to disrupt everything because there was a woman who had
an outburst. She stood up and started screaming and saying,
it's not an effing game. And then she called out

(04:28):
to Diddy, they're coming after you.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Now, this woman was in the courthouse doing this.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yes, yeah, she told me if I was Diddy, I'd
be like, oh, this feels like you know when somebody
points at.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
You and you yep.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Now, this woman actually was previously denied entry to the
courthouse at least once. They said she's had outbursts in
the press overflow room next to the courtroom. The judge
ordered her removed and she was escorted from there, and
now they're back. Prosecutors have called Eddie Garcia, the security
supervisor at the Interco Continental, which is where that videotape
of Cassie getting really badly beaten. That's where that was located.

(05:07):
All right, now, let's talk about Sinners. There was a
rumor that Sinners two was on the way, even though
Ryan Krugler has said he has no plans in doing
a sequel. He spoke to Ebony about it and he
said he never thinks about the potential of making a
Sinners too. He said, I've been in a space of
making franchise films for a bit, so I wanted to
get away from that. I was looking forward to working

(05:29):
on a film that felt original and personal to me
and had an appetite for delivering something to audiences that
was original and unique. Well, where did the rumor of
a Sinners two even come from? Because they said they'll
do it but without him, that was the rumor. I
don't know if you saw that. Well, this was from
a listing on Production Weekly that tracks the development of
high profile films and TV shows. There was a listing

(05:51):
that said another Sinners movie was in development, and they
usually correctly get information, so that's why people believed it.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
But unfortunately for them, they were wrong.

Speaker 4 (06:01):
And Warner Brothers actually responded and said that that was
not true.

Speaker 9 (06:05):
That would be unethical and horrible. Yeah, we were boycott.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
People were already saying that, like, we're not going to
go see this, Well, boycott this, but it's not even true.
And speaking of Sinners, let's talk about Michael B. Jordan
for a second. He's on the cover of New York
magazine and he said he actively does not post much
on social media or talk to the press about his
personal life, that is to create a demand for himself
as a movie star. He said Denzel Washington is one

(06:31):
of his biggest inspirations.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
And he said Denzel gave him some career advice.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
He said to stay offline and don't risk being overexposed.
He said, why would they pay to see you on
a weekend if they see you all.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Week for free? So that's good advice.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
So I don't know, you still have to keep posting
me in because we got to find your wife.

Speaker 9 (06:49):
Yeah, July twenty six is happenings.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
And one last thing.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
Did he auditioned to play James Brown and the Get
On Up movie?

Speaker 3 (06:58):
I don't know if you guys saw that, which I
would that, yeah.

Speaker 9 (07:01):
But I saw the movie, but I saw that they
said that he actually auditioned for that.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Yes, so you know this is all coming out right
now because his ex assistant said that Diddy was auditioning
for that role. She said that she had Diddy's audition
tape and would send it to him and one of
the messages that she said, so I guess it was
a high budget bid for the role. And she said
the audition tape was a production that they put on
for a week. All right, well that is your Yet

(07:25):
when we come back, we have about last night.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
That's where we'll discuss and what we did last night.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
I'll tell you what I had going on, which leads
to our discussion of something you said that I didn't
agree with and it has to do with sending food back.
But we'll discuss its way night.

Speaker 6 (07:41):
So about last night, Yes, I went down.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
What dances are you doing?

Speaker 5 (07:48):
Man? I'm working on new steps. Man, I got this.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
It's way up plan. So all right, well, clearly Mayno's here.
I don't know what dance that was. It looked like
you was.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
It reminds me of the time we went to the
strip club together and you were winding.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
It was a time.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
It was a time. Okay, But anyway, what did you
do last night?

Speaker 9 (08:05):
Because man, I got together with my guy Zane zay
No Flaco, my son, and we went to we went
to the movies.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
We went to see you call your son's day FLACCOH No.

Speaker 9 (08:14):
I don't, but that's what he calls, so he does. Y. Yeah,
like you got a good name, bro, like your name Zane. Right,
you know, we went to see Thunderbolts. Okay, this is
a marvel movie it was.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
It was cool.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
That's nice. I like a little father son time.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Yeah, because you know the thing is, they ain't got
much time for me anymore.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Oh he's yeah, he's buckd and busy.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
Yeah. Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
Well, yesterday I went to go eat. You know, Monday's
a lot of restaurants are closed.

Speaker 5 (08:41):
Yeah, And I know.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
That's pretty much across yeah, pretty much across the board.
Places like my coffee shops open Monday during the day, clearly,
but at night not, it's not open at night.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
But anyway, I went to go eat at this restaurant.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
And the first time, when you ever go to a restaurant,
the first time you go, you're like, this is really good.
The second time it wasn't like, as you know what
you write, remember.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Off the first one and go back and be like
it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Yeah, it wasn't as amazing.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
But anyway, the other thing that happened was we ordered
this food, right and so, and we ordered one drink each,
right and so my boyfriend ended up sending his drink
back because he didn't like it. And I was thinking
about likes and I don't think he really like loved
his food either, And I was thinking he might send
something back, but he didn't.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
He just paid for it.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
And there was also a side of massed potatoes that
didn't get touched. And then we had a conversation where
you said, if somebody doesn't touch something, they would have
went back. But I think if you don't like something,
it's fair to send it back if you try it
it doesn't taste good. I've sent back French fries that
are cold on multiple accases because I think fries are
also easy to like whip up another batch of like
hot fries. But sometimes the stuff he's sitting there and

(09:53):
they don't bring it to you right away.

Speaker 9 (09:55):
If it's if it's not right and it's cold, definitely
sent back.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
But if she orders.

Speaker 9 (09:59):
Something and don't eat it, then I'm like, hey, she
didn't even touch it.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
But there's nothing wrong with it.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
I'm hearing what you're saying. But I'm telling you what
my philosophy is. Hey, sir, she didn't she didn't eat
none of it. She didn't even touch it.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
So it tells you house if somebody or now you
want to go, I'm telling them, what if a burger
wings rides and then they will touch the wings because
they're full.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
You can't send those that take those to go give
them away. I will say that person.

Speaker 9 (10:31):
I would say that net instance, But well, I'm telling
you what I'm doing in my personal.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Okay, all right, send it?

Speaker 4 (10:36):
And does anybody ever object to that, like the owner
of the restaurant?

Speaker 5 (10:40):
Certain, No, I'm really objecting this.

Speaker 9 (10:42):
This is my this is my silent protest against uh,
the person that actually ordered it.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
I would come over there and say, was there something
wrong with the order? And the person is. I need
you guys to pick a side. Eight hundred two nine
to fifty. This is my BRF, my best rapper friend,
but he does something that I think is unethical, unethical.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Really, you'll use a word like that on me.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
You go to a restaurant, that word something wrong with
the food. Yes, send it back ethic. However, if you
just didn't touch it because you ordered wrong, that's your fault.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. Do you
agree with me or do you meo meno? Is it unethical?
Or do you send back food too? If you just
simply don't touch it eight hundred nine two fifty one

(11:24):
fifty call us up and pick a side it's way up.

Speaker 6 (11:28):
It's not just right or wrong. It's about what you believe.
It's time to pick a side and stay there.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
It's that time.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
It's way up with Angela. Yee, I'm here with my
brf Mano. But today you may have to suspend that
title to war all morning. Yes, So today's war, today's
pick aside is over whether or not you should return
food simply because you didn't touch it, not because the
food wasn't up to par, just because you ordered too

(11:57):
many things and someone didn't eat a dish.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Going back and you send.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
That back, I said, you have to box that up,
give it away, bring it home, eat it later, whatever
it is.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
But you still have to pay for it.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
Let's see what the people say.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
All right, So eight hundred two nine fifty fifty.

Speaker 4 (12:13):
This is going to be a pick aside whether or
not this is ethical, because I say it's unethic.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Ca Yes, Coco, pick a side.

Speaker 10 (12:21):
The first point is he is very argumentative that if
I trip to for a man.

Speaker 7 (12:26):
Second point is if you order you ordered it.

Speaker 5 (12:31):
See hey, Coco, ethical right or now? And I want
to make sure I don't argue with you, baby, because
I don't want to come off as argumentative.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
You know, it gets his It gets his adrenaline.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
Yeah, wing somebody else for you. I guess you told
me that's right.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
Thank you, Boko. I needed that backup. Hannako. Hi, So
talk to us.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
If Mano wants to send something back simply because he
didn't touch it in a restaurant, what are your thoughts.

Speaker 11 (13:00):
I'm gonna set for over and sometimes I give a
taste beard or something like that stake. I don't take
it off your bill or bring you something else. But
if you wait until be and you know some places
make the server pay for it.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
Wow, So imagine now you know she has to pay
because you didn't want.

Speaker 9 (13:18):
Right now, you're trying to break that down with with
all this being ethical, right.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
I get it.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
That's not fair. You got to pay with that because.

Speaker 5 (13:26):
It over ordered, right, I get that.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
More pay for the food.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
I wouldn't want somebody to pay for that. Try not
to order too much. It's never me going up.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
I do tell the ladies like if you want to
get a meal, and ladies, relax with all the ordering.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 9 (13:45):
You want lampshop, you want steak, and you want mash
and macaroni.

Speaker 5 (13:49):
And a salad.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
I mean to get.

Speaker 9 (13:52):
Yeah, and then you're not gonna then you're gonna sit
there and not touch it and pick through it.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
But thank you for thank you? Tell us all right?

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Thought about today.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
You too, Hey, mister Mike, Come on, mister, how do
you feel when you see a man no coming?

Speaker 7 (14:08):
First of all, before I take anything to may No,
much to may No.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
We love you, my bucker. Right, take it what you
put it, it's to go box, give it to somebody.

Speaker 7 (14:21):
But may know you too much of a g I can't.

Speaker 5 (14:24):
Send it back.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
He's a chef. Mister is a chef.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
I'm gonna take your word for mister Mike, man.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
Take my word.

Speaker 8 (14:31):
And what we do in the back, what y'all don't
know is we talk about people like you.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
He ended up come back and tell us you're out
there for lost and you got the jew on it.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
You drifted.

Speaker 5 (14:44):
Now, I get it, mister Mike. I'm gonna rethink my philosophy.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
There you go much, my brother, and I like that
chef mister Mike came out.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
You know he's got love for you. But you know
what you're getting talked about.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
Listen, No, I don't get talked about man or here.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Yeah, for so long they like that, said the tato
toasts back.

Speaker 5 (15:11):
Yeah, well, bro, appreciate you man.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Thank you. All right, Well, it looks like overwhelmingly people
do not agree with you.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
No, it was a twenty v one.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Are you going to change your habits You're used to it? Yeah,
all right, Well when we come back, we have your
yea tea and Bagba is tired of y'all making jokes
that he don't send food back and will tell you
what he had to say about his weight fluctuating.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
All right, it's way up, Joe.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
She's about to blow the lid abof this pot. Let's
get it. Angela's feeling that yea tea. Come and get
the tea.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
It's way up at Angela. Yee with my b r
F mano.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Let's rap a five.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Let's get into some yet. So iHeartRadio.

(16:12):
also has announced a North American tour with special guests

Speaker 10 (16:41):
Right.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
He is saying that he does not like people making
these fat jokes about him.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
Here's what he said.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
They called me fat.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
I'm like, yo, I'm an actor like that, dude.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
No, if I have a roll to do, I'm going
to get fat.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Like it's a reason, like, don't call me fat.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
They don't know the facts. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
So now people are like, well, what's the role? What's
his weight? Fluctuates depending on what he has going on?

Speaker 5 (17:03):
Right, A skinny roll? All right?

Speaker 4 (17:07):
And Jamaine Dupree has announced Division as the first official
so so Deaf.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
X hide signing, right, what is it so so Deaf
x Hibe?

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Is that what it's called, so Hibe is going to
handle international distribution while so so Deaf will handle creative direction. Okay,
so it's a so So Deaf times Hibe collaboration.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
He said.

Speaker 4 (17:29):
After working with the group on their last album and
going to their show seeing how much their fans love them,
and then when I heard they had just become free agents,
I had to sign them and make Division my first
signing at so So def Hibe. So that's the statement
that he put out. I love Division. I actually really
enjoy all the albums. They had a project with Todd
alas Sein that I also really enjoy. But I'm big
fans of here. They actually have a song called Angela

(17:51):
as well.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
You love that I do.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
It's not about me, per se, but but I do
like them, you know what I'm saying. So I'm happy
to hear that. All right, Well that is your yet.
Oh and when we come back, we have under the radar.
These are the stories that are flying under the radar,
but you need to know about them. One of them
has to do with New Orleans and these jail escapees

(18:17):
you know, there is one person who put out a
video on social media. Antoine Massy is his name, and
the authenticity of this footage is not verified, but federal
sources are saying that investigators are aware of this post
and they're taking it seriously. He says he was let
out and that he did not escape, So we got
to talk about the difference and that will discuss that

(18:38):
when we come back and under the radar, it's way
up to you.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
These stories are flying under the radar.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
All right, Its way up with Angela.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Yee, I'm here, my guy Mana is here and it's
time for these under the radar stories. So there's this
alleged video that has uh that's of escapee Antoine Massy
that's been circular online.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
They still have to.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
Verify that this is authentic footage. But in the video,
he's saying that he's one of the people that was
let out.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Of the prison in New Orleans. And here's what he said.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
How is that were let out of GC?

Speaker 12 (19:16):
All type of stuff going on and need counseling it up.
This is something that needs to go under or investigation.
Why Answrner Massi was in jail? If the woman the
victim seedy that he never recut. He was no one
and this is the athlete was on a thief right
here from asking peace for help, young boy neat news
Lil Wayne don't true?

Speaker 4 (19:40):
All right now, According to the sheriff, if the individual
depicted depicted in the video is indeed antoine massive, we
strongly urged him to come forward and turn himself in to.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
The proper authorities.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Cooperating with law enforcement is in his best interest and
may help avoid additional charges. It's important that justice has
served appropriately and that due process is followed.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
Ooh, what would you advise?

Speaker 10 (20:03):
Man?

Speaker 5 (20:03):
Know, from a point of view, they let him out, though,
my mistake is what he's saying, right.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
He's saying that he was let out. He said that.

Speaker 5 (20:12):
You mean he didn't mean to be escaped.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Yeah, it's corrupt. Yeah, so I'm not sure.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
So he's escaped by mistake.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
He's really innocent, right, Well, you know, his history of
escapes goes back to two thousand and seven.

Speaker 5 (20:27):
But this one is not the right.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
He was letout.

Speaker 5 (20:30):
He was let out, right.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
He and five by the juveniles broke out of the
Youth Study Center also known as the Juvenile Justice Intervention center.
Then he escaped from the Moorhouse Detention Center in twenty nineteen.
He caught off an ANKO monitor just two half hours
after being fitted.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
With it in twenty twenty three, and then.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
He's also suspected of playing a key role in this
recent escape that happened. A Joie maintenance worker, Sterling william
says that Massy threatened to shake him if he didn't
open up an escape route, and so now he's also
facing felony charges.

Speaker 5 (20:58):
I believe him though, I'm going to be honest.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
He's innocent.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
What happens now to the jail maintenance worker, the guy
Sterling Williams, who says that if he didn't do this,
he was threatened to get shaked.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
What like, what happens in that situation? That's what I wanted.

Speaker 5 (21:15):
They might want to bring charges on him. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
All right, Well, we'll keep you guys updated. And don't
forget that.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Mona Scott Young is going to be joining us in
a few She's going to be talking about this ViBe's
Cartel concert that's going down in Atlantic City. Will be
there on the fourteenth, his Father's Day weekend, So you
know that's going to be a time. We also got
the Way Up mixed for you guys at the top
of the hour. It's way up.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
It's like the like the Angel Jean, like they Angela
Jean and.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
She's spilling it all. This is yet way up.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
It's way up at Angela. Yeah, I'm here with my
guy Maino. No, let's get into this yet.

Speaker 11 (21:52):
You know.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
It's week four of the Diddy trial right now, and
the ex hotel guard Eddie Garcia just took the stand.
He was the security officer or at the Intercontinental. He
talked about did he giving him one hundred thousand dollars
at the time of that video because he wanted to
make sure nobody would see it could destroy his career,
and he talked about also deleting messages as he was

(22:15):
getting cross examined when that video resurfaced. He also said
he did reach out to Diddy to try to get
a job, but didn't hear anything back after he got
that hundred thousand dollars. And next expected to take the
stand is Derek Ferguson, who is the former head of
the finance department for Diddy, and he's going to be
coming up next, and so he does did he have

(22:35):
this racketeering conspiracy charge?

Speaker 3 (22:38):
And this next one, they say is going to.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
Be really important just because racketeering means engaging in an
illegal scheme.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
They've proven different.

Speaker 4 (22:47):
Things, but they want to see if this is a
criminal enterprise that existed, and it's racketeering is not a
specific crime, it's a way of thinking about and prosecuting
a variety of crime. According to a CNN expert, So
to convict somebody of racketeering, you have to prove five
different criteria that a criminal enterprise existed, that it affected

(23:09):
interstate commerce, that the defendant was associated with or employed
by the enterprise, that the defendant engaged in a pattern
of racketeering activity, and that the defendant participated in at
least two acts of racketeering activity. So this ex Finance
chiefs testimony is going to be key in proving these
racketary conspiracy charges. You say, like a racketeer specialist, Yes,

(23:30):
he's you know, an illegal analyst to kind of break
things down because sometimes people aren't really understanding what's going
on right when it comes to this. All right, now,
let's also talk about Mariah Mills. She is the woman
that Zion Williamson.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
You don't want to.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
Listen.

Speaker 4 (23:49):
She is the woman who wants to follow a lawsuit
potentially against Zion Williamson. We heard from her before and
she is now contacting Tony Busby about potentially gation against
Zion Williamson. But in a statement that was released today,
Tony Buzby said he would not be adding her to
the client list. He said, a member of our staff
spoke to her. After review, we declined to take her case.

(24:11):
We cannot comment about the details or merits of her claims.
As you know, we are contacted by numerous people with grievances.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
We can't help them all.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
So she said that he was intimate with her right
before he announced he was expecting a baby with another woman.
As you know, there is a woman now, a Jane Doe,
who is accusing Zion Williamson of abusing her and sexual
assault for years after they met when he was a
freshman at Duke in twenty eighteen. So after that, Mariah

(24:39):
Mills was trying to step forward with her case.

Speaker 9 (24:41):
Early on she was saying that she was pregnant by him.
Now she's saying that he abused me.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Well, she's saying that she wants to. She's not the
Jane Doe.

Speaker 5 (24:47):
I understand. Yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
She's mulling over whether or not.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
And she said she was contacting Tony Busby to represent her,
so I'm not sure if she is going to legitimately
file something or not. All right, In good news, Jamie
Fox is looking for a gospel choir in every city
he's doing an upcoming comedy tour.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
And here's what he said.

Speaker 8 (25:07):
I'm about to go on this little tool man just
what I need. I need a gospel choir. I got
some funny stuff that I want to do. You know,
I'm a church boy, so I want to do some
funny church So when I come to your city, I
need y'all to pull up on me.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
All right, that's nice, we like that, right.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
I'm sure that Jamie Fox has this different type of
view about his life now after potentially people thought that
he wasn't going to pull through and make it. So
I can't even imagine what that does to your psychey,
But it's great to see him back on the road
and on stage. All right, Well, that is your yet
when we come back, ask ye with the award winning
advice giving Mano eight hundred ninety two winning fifty one

(25:47):
fifty call us up. You're very argumentative though that, ladies,
that's what we've heard. Eight hundred ninety two fifty one
fifty Call us up, any question.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
We're here to help its way up.

Speaker 6 (25:57):
Everybody sens with its relationship for career advice. Angela's dropping facts.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
What's up his way up at Angela? Yeah, I'm here
with my beer a man.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
That's about a friend and it's time ASKI award winning
advice giving and we got branded on the line today.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
What's that Brandon?

Speaker 5 (26:15):
Hey, how's it going?

Speaker 3 (26:16):
I'm good? Thank you? What is your question for me
and Mano.

Speaker 13 (26:19):
Regarding a push gifts? Right, so, me and my wife
had her first child.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
She even told me not to get her a push gifts.
She wasn't like any big, big deal to her.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
I just want to say something.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
People don't know what a push gift is because Mano
just said, what is a push gift?

Speaker 14 (26:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Giving birth?

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yeah, so when she pushed that baby out, she get.

Speaker 5 (26:38):
A gift pushing it.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
That's your gift, that's your gifts.

Speaker 13 (26:42):
Gift the baby. So we have another child that's do
in about a month. And a half two months. So
now all of a sudden she wants a push gift,
and she wants it's not something just ordinary, something expensive,
And the only issue is that we also just bought
a common so it's like all you know, saying, like

(27:02):
all our kind of funds went to that. But now
all of a sudden she wants this Cardier love bracelet.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Oh that's expensive. Not the one with the diamonds though, right,
just the Plaine goals.

Speaker 13 (27:12):
I probably want the one with the diamonds.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
So I'm just like, that's right, girl.

Speaker 13 (27:17):
So I'm like, do you want the condo to be
furnished or do you want this bracelet? And we could
to sit on the box and watch TV or.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
Something, right, And it's kind of it's interesting she didn't
care the first baby, but now the second one she does. Yeah.

Speaker 13 (27:28):
I don't know if she's been like on TikTok too
much or right, but it's just like it's like we're.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
Like TikTok right now.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
I think you've got to be honest about things like that,
Like we don't have it in the funds right now,
Maybe there's something for the home that's not as expensive
that you can get that thoughtful, but I would just say,
right now, we don't have it in the funds. It
could also be that her hormones are all over the place,
Like you said, she's seeing other things. She's feeling like
I want this, But you just got to be rational
at times and be like, look, you know when we

(27:56):
get it back once we've been in this condo for
a while. You know I got you. But right now
I gotta do something not to that level, because you
can still get her something.

Speaker 3 (28:03):
It ain't gonna be that Cardier love brace This.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
Is once that I or you could buy it and
send it back like Mana would do when it goes
to a restaurant.

Speaker 9 (28:11):
Never that, but listen, she said, she's right though, just
tell her you'll get it, but you might not be
able to get it right then.

Speaker 6 (28:21):
It is.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
Look you listen, they get.

Speaker 5 (28:24):
Bracelet, maybe not that bracelet. Get something else.

Speaker 3 (28:29):
Also, Mano's got a guy that can get you when
to look just like the love bracelet.

Speaker 4 (28:37):
All right, but no, you just got a reason with
her and just be and get her something smaller that's
really thoughtful, and one day she'll have that, you know
something from now. Yeah, there you go. That would be sweet.
The girls love that too, all right, good.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
Luck Brandon, you appreciate it all right.

Speaker 4 (28:54):
Well that was ask ye eight hundred ninety fifty just
in case you couldn't get through. And one when we
come back, we got Mona Scott Young joining us. We're
going to be talking about this ViBe's cartel content that
is going down in Atlantic City. Father this day weekend.
Now that's a fun time. Gets you a man a
push gift, all right, and take him to go see
Vibes Cartel.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
We'll be there. It's way up. Turn me up here
we go, Aupgain.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
This is way up with Angela ye.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Oh god, Mona's got youngest hair. What's up this Angela?

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Yee?

Speaker 4 (29:26):
She did a throwback the other day on her page
and I was like, Mona, this is enough.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
We I'm reliving the glory, the moment, the wind.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
We had a golf competition.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Okay, don't say that, because I told you that's more
to I did win the call.

Speaker 4 (29:41):
It was actually, you know, an event of competition where
you came with your own sauce.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
And there was a jerk chicken competition, right, and Angela
ye tried to go up against my super spicy secret sauce.

Speaker 4 (29:56):
I do want to say one thing though, and I'm
so glad that you said all this right now. Why
because the rules of the competition where you could only
use what was there you but your own sauce.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
No no, no, no, no, yes, I use what was there
to concoct my own sauce.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
They said that you had some type of type aware
I did.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
No, I did not believe.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Ladies and gentlemen, we need a rematch. That's all that.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
But why we're really also here is because I'm excited
about this. Aside from all of the cheating you did. Lord,
she's a sore losive vibes Cartel, vibes.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
The World bar World Boss and Concert.

Speaker 11 (30:34):
You know.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Vibes.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
Cartel was sitting in that very seat that you're in
right now when he came here to wigh up at
Angela Yee, and I was so honored to have him
up here.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
You know, when he did, the Barclays sold out immediately, insane.

Speaker 4 (30:44):
I didn't even get a chance to go. But where
I am going is Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
Hall Father's Day Weekend. We're gonna blow it out and
have a blast.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Right now, I'm talking to Mona Scott Young. We're discussing
this whole ViBe's Cartel concert in Atlantic.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
City O this day weekend.

Speaker 4 (31:01):
But tell me how you ended up doing this moment
because you know, a lot of people know you from
managing artists of course producing movies.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Also shout out to you for that that would keep bazy.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
We lost Holiday Fime video now and then.

Speaker 4 (31:14):
In addition to that also obviously Violator management, Love and
Hip Hop, producing other TV shows as well, and so
now these content.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
I think you did the.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
SWV well, I did Miss Elliott Miss Elliott experience with
Rust and Sierra last summer. We did that tour and
simultaneous I had the Queens of R and B go out,
so you know, but way before then, back in twenty seventeen,
when I first worked with Escape and brought them back together,
I did the Great Escape tour that was tied to

(31:43):
the TV show that I did with them then, So.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
That was how did you bring them back together?

Speaker 1 (31:47):
What was that like? Behind the scenes, whole lot of conversation,
a whole lot of cajoling. I mean, listen, it was
the same thing that happened when I brought them a
SWV back together to do the tour that we did
after they did the TV show. So yeah, no, I
think it's just all about figuring out ways to create
a movie a story around the brand to help drive

(32:08):
you know, ticket sales, but also to create a great
experience for the fans. So I think both tours did that,
the Great Escape Tour and then fast forward when we
did the Queens of R and B.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
Mona s Guy Young is here with me, and I
know Meno's in the building somewhere. He's gonna want to
see the woman who put him on Love and Hip hop.
All right, we'll talk more with Monas got Young when
we come back. It's way up, way up.

Speaker 2 (32:32):

Speaker 3 (32:46):
It is where are you getting married?

Speaker 1 (32:48):
And who is this young lady? Pray tell we're keeping her?

Speaker 3 (32:52):
No, it doesn't exist yet, Oh she doesn't exist. He's
looking for her wife for Ji.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
So this is the new reality. Marrying me. Yeah, I
want to marry Mayo. You seem already and all like
that popped the balloon show we can do that. I
want to marry Mano.

Speaker 5 (33:15):
Lay Away, marrying may lay Away.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Because may I got the ring, he got the kids vacation.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
But he was Therefore you're still paying for it over time.
Why is it on lay Away?

Speaker 5 (33:27):
The love is on, the love is on.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
The love doesn't even him right now. From what you
tell me, he will be there.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
It'll be there. So we do have to see. I'm
practicing my vow.

Speaker 3 (33:37):
He practiced.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
Yeah, he's walking down out.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
He also, I'm giving him away.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
You are giving him away? So am I performing the
wedding ceremony? Really love.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
We get here today to this thing, the call.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
That's a really long time, but I'm here to tell
you there's something else.

Speaker 5 (34:00):
Yeah, nuts love it.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Let's do that.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
Right now.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
I'm talking to Mona Scott Young. We're discussing this whole
ViBe's Cartel concert in Atlantic City Father's Day weekend.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
But I do think.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Mona's a person that could also give you tips on
how to stay married. It's one thing to get married,
it's another thing to stay in real life.

Speaker 1 (34:17):
Yeah, in real life US where we're celebrating our twenty
year wedding anniversary. But twenty nine, almost thirty years.

Speaker 5 (34:25):
Congratulation.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
That is the Young and Mona Scott Young.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
So you guys were together for almost ten years before
you got married exactly.

Speaker 1 (34:31):
The only reason we got married was because our son
turned around one day and was like, wait, your name
is Scott, that is young. We're Scott Young. Please don't
tell me y'all ain't married.

Speaker 5 (34:40):
Ooh, And we were like, ooh, you gotta do it.

Speaker 5 (34:54):

Possibly, Ladies, you want to wind up on Mada, get

bought a ticket to the show in order to be
entered into a chance.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
To marry maino oh my gosh, I like that. We

They'd be like, yeah, man, it was so real until
today you were unethical.

Speaker 5 (36:35):
Unethical all right?

Speaker 4 (36:37):
A lot of people called in just discussing a pick
