it's just amazing that you always seem to be in
good spirits. But outside, literally when we left the building
the last time you were here a couple of weeks ago,
because you don't show up as much. But when we
left the building, there was a woman outside who ran
up on you. Right, she said something to me, I

(02:20):
slid off, but you were standing there having a full
fledged conversation with her. I walked down the block and
look back and you still were standing there.

two fifty one fifty in case you couldn't get through.
And by the way, we do have a special announcement
this morning that I've been wanting to make for like months,
but we can finally make it this morning. And when
we come back, we have yr Yet, let's talk about
Ditty's attorney and what Diddy wants you to know about
his plans once he's released.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Its way up, they say in the rooms.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
From industry shade to all the gossip out angelus feeling
that yet.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
It's way up with Angela. Yee, my guy mainos here.
All is good in the world. Let's get into some
breaking news for yet. All right, Well, this is an
older story, but we do have an updated response now.
Buster Rhymes shock fans. In January, he turned himself into
police over an alleged assault incident at his building in Brooklyn.

(04:42):
Now the alleged victim, who is his former assistant, Dashiel Gables,
wants millions of dollars in a lawsuit with this accusation.
Buster Rhymes turned himself in a few days after the
alleged incident after allegedly fleeing the scene. So his ex
assistant won six to seven million dollars for alleged assault, battery,
wage theft, and infliction of emotional distress. Well, Buster Rhymes

(05:07):
has an official statement now for a release. He said,
I have been made aware of the claims made by
Dashiel Gables, and I completely and categorically deny these allegations.
For a very brief period, Dushielle assisted me, but it
did not work out. Apparently Dashio has decided to respond
to being let go by manufacturing claims against me in
an attempt to attack and damage my reputation. I look

(05:28):
forward to proving these allegations false, and he said he
is certain the truth will prevail. That is the statement
on behalf of Buster Rhymes. All right, now, let's talk
about Ditty. He has a new interview on CBS Mornings
and this well not him. His attorney has a new
interview on CBS Mornings Mark Agnafilo, and he talked about

(05:50):
what his client did he is looking forward to doing
once he is freed. He's been locked up for almost
a year. Here is what his attorney had to say.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
So he's talked to you about getting back into music.

Speaker 10 (06:01):
If he's not least.

Speaker 11 (06:03):
No, no, honestly, he has not one.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Thing he said.

Speaker 11 (06:06):
He said, he said, well, he's giving me back in
Madison Square guard doing what.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
I guess being on stage.

Speaker 7 (06:11):
Oh, like gosh, she said that what what doing what
he does? Thirty years of nothing but bona fide toimeless hits.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
That's what?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Well, you know what I think him saying, not necessarily music.
But then if you're not doing music, what are you doing?
You know what I'm saying. So clearly it is music.
If he wants to get on stage at the garden,
now here is what did. He also has allegedly been reflecting.

Speaker 11 (06:36):
On, has reflected on the blessings that he's been given,
on the imperfections that I think he sees in himself.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Does he want to get.

Speaker 11 (06:45):
Back into music, does he want to get back into business?
I think he's someone who is always going to strive
to do something. You know, exceptional and probably demanding and challenging.
But I think the most demanding and challenging thing in
front of him right now is to get back with
his kids and get back with his mother.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
All right, So he was denied bill for a second time.
He gets sentenced on October third, so he doesn't even
know when he's coming home yet, right, all right, now,
let's discuss bag fuel. They interviewed le Angelo Ball and
they asked him about why he decided to leave the
G League, and here's what he had to say.

Speaker 7 (07:24):
I was in the G League three knth I was
getting mine and throwing and held nothing.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
So who's throwing it?

Speaker 1 (07:30):
I got Mady for music.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
It wasn't like a hard decision. I wasn't contemplating, like damn,
I got a whop. I was like, I gotta live
at this point, I gotta live now.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
He's like, I didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
The I know that, and that's what most people.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
And then but you know, I guess if it's.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Something that you love and you're trying to get back
into the NBA, I guess that's you know, it's a
it's a grind.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
Why can you live off three thousand a month and
can't you thinking of New York too?

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Some places? But still, you're right. I definitely thought it
would be more than that. It looks like music. It
might be the better way for him to go. All right,
well that is your Yet, when we come back, we
have about last night.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I saw some videos on your page.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
Oh yeah, so I know you were outside last night,
and I cannot wait to hear about what you had
going on because I heard some music already today.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
It's way up, So about last night, he said, I
went down.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
It's way up at Angela. Yee, I'm here, maynos.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Here, yeah, and it's time for about last night.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
I as sew you were outside.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (08:33):
My days is like running into each other. So I
don't know if last night was this morning and this
morning was last night. One of these nights, I was
out shout out the Diamond Platinums. We were in the
studio with him working on some music. He's a super
super huge artist out of Tanzania, Africa.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Yeah, he was just here.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Yeah, I know I saw that way up at me.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Okay, I saw, but I saw some video footage of
y'all all in the studio.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, fas of me.

Speaker 6 (09:03):
J.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Yeah, Trey songs definitely.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
And y J interaction together.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
It's no, it's no, it's no issue. It's coool, Okay,
everything is vibing.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
I just I would love to see that, like with
their conversation, they need to do a sit down.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
No, I don't think so, because it was never nothing.
I think it was.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
It's entertaining and like that.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
That was funny, but it was never nothing. Okay, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Only cool could fix this. But okay, all right, so
that's cool. Say I did some music. You played a
little bit for us. I love that. I was doing
lift service yesterday and I was you. Let me tell
you what I was upset about. Wow, eminem the Stand movie. Wow,
the documentary. They had a screening yesterday that I got
invited to, but I couldn't make it because I had
to work and I already popped out.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
So the Stand movie. Yeah, there's a movie.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Yeah, there's a Stand documentary and they had a screening yesterday.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
So is it about like somebody that's just like a
deranged fan.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Well, it's an actual documentary about I guess, like stands
and you know, oh yeah, so that happened here and
there's so much going on, and I did my podcast.
Then my god daughter is finishing up her internship. Actually
I think today is it. So she's leaving to go
back to school. She goes to Spelman tomorrow. So I
took her out to dinner after I did lip service,
so it was late. We went to Dumbo House and

(10:25):
I ran into Fred from Media Takeout while I was there,
so we was.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
That's your favorite site, so definitely give them a shout out.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
No, I love Media take Out.

Speaker 12 (10:32):
Here.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Let me tell you.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Let's see what's the headline right now with Media Takeout?
Whoa exclusive Ice? Spice dumps NFL sauce Gardener.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
He was corny. That's the headline. I'm not saying it is.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
Different than everybody else's. Right.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Wow, here's another story.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Kardashian, Kurse, Christian or Kyle and Kim all have six toes.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
None of this is verified.

Speaker 13 (10:56):
All right?

Speaker 2 (10:56):
Well, anyway, that is about last night. When we come back,
we do have a big We told you mayno days
on the seventeenth.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
And I'm getting married still.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
So ready for that date passed, but we got to
talk about what I got coming up.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
It's way up you way up.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
With Angela Yee more.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Now all right, it's way up with Angela Yee and
it's time for my big announcement that I've been dying
to make. So Angela y Day is official. It's happening
August twenty thirty. May know, you've been representing absolutely no and.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
A week before it's mayin no days.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
I was just going to make sure I remember that
this was so I'll be there and then you'll be
at U Day. Well you know what I'm saying. But
I was actually wondering, like, how long have I done this? August?
The actual U Day is August twenty eighth. So the
mayor at the time, Bill de Blasio, gave me my
own day. This was back in twenty eighteen, so this
will be the seventh year. But this is only my

(11:55):
sixty because I got it in twenty eighteen. So I
started doing stuff in twenty nineteen. Then there was a
pandemic if you recall, of course we all do. Yeah,
so I did a virtual one. That one was amazing. Yeah,
we did a virtual virtual one. It was virtual.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
Now I wanted to be there though, Okay, well you
can go back, but you.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Know, hood celebrity Beanie Man did that one, Kes did
that one. I mean, we've had some amazing people pop
out to Ye Day. Christopher Martin, he was really instrumental
from the beginning when we first.

Speaker 3 (12:28):
Did Ye Day.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
He actually had a lot of people surprise pop out
because it's also a week before the West Indian American
Day Parade, which is the biggest parade in New York.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Hearen in Brooklyn.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
This year is really special though, because the Barclays is
doing something for the first time ever. I don't know
if you're aware of this, but they're doing something called
Planet Brooklyn.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
No not, let's talk about it all right.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
So Planet Brooklyn is a two day festival and it
kicks off this year. So Ye Day is actually part
of that two day festival. But my part is free,
so it's going to be different performances that happen at
three different venues. It's at Barclay Center at BAM which
is the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and Brooklyn Paramount, which
is another venue. So those are gonna be indoor parts.

(13:12):
My part is outside.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
It's free.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
There's gonna be performances, but they have some huge guests
coming through, so you don't know who's gonna pop out
to Angela ye day. But it's a community day for
a fact, and I already said this basket Lather is
a sponsor, and so every year we've been doing hair braiding,
we've been doing haircuts, we have free ice cream, you know,
free food for everybody. So just a lot of participation

(13:35):
from the community and we invite everybody to come out.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
It's a safe thing.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
It's actually happening earlier this year, so it's kind of
around the same time my show was on.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
It's from ten to.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Three this year because of Planet Brooklyn. So now we're
going to be a bit earlier and then after where
we're gonna go to coffee uplifts people yes.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
Do it and continue to party.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
But ukay, it's official. It's August twenty third. Again, it's free,
it's a family day. We're giving out backpacks, haircut, it's
hair braiding, food, ice cream, performances will all be there.
So whether you're from Brooklyn or from anywhere in the world, welcome.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
You to come and join us.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Because Brooklyn is a planet for real, so we welcome
you to our planet.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
All the aliens.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Everybody come out and join us, no matter what planet
you're from.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
Not like that.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
No, the aliens, you know, they say that I like
the planet.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Yeah, you feel like women who look like aliens don't
say that. All right, Well, anyway, when we come back,
we have some more yet for you guys. Unfortunately you
news for Tianna Taylor. She's been struggling with something privately,
and she posted about it yesterday.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
We'll talk about that when we come back.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
It's way up.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Sure, she's about to blow the lid off this spot.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
Let's get it.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
Angelus feeling that yea tea, Come and get the tea.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
It's way up. But Angela uyahmos hair.

Speaker 14 (14:49):
Man.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
So yesterday, Erica Banks was arrested in the airport. She's
supposed to be appearing in court today and according to
Atlanta Police the information that they released, she was stopped
because there was a gun in her Louis Va time
bag that was on the X ray machine conveyor belt.
She said she wasn't aware about it and it was
a Smith and Wesson in her bag. She was going

(15:11):
to Houston. They ran a check on the gun and
they said it came back as stolen. In twenty eighteen
out of Greensville, South Carolina, She then told the police
the gun belonged to her security, but did not give
them a name. So she was arrested at the airport
and taken to the Clayton County Jail. So they are
waiting on the mugshot.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
So she's still locked up.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yeah, I think she's in court today, so it should
be happening shortly, So we'll see what happens with that now.
Tiana Taylor has revealed that she's undergoing emergency surgery for
a noncancerous growth on one of her vocal cords. She
went on her Instagram story yesterday and told fans she'll
need to step back from public appearances for some time.
She said she's been dealing with some vocal challenges for

(15:53):
a while, and after a lot of back and forth
with my doctors, I've been told I need vocal surgery immediately.
And so she's not going to tape with Michelle Obama
and Martha's Vineyard that was supposed to happen on Saturday.
So I'm sure that's heartbreaking for her that something like that,
you know, can happen.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
She said that honestly breaks my heart. I don't take.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Lightly what it means to show up for y'all. But
her new album is going to remain on track, Escape Room.
She did have a listening the other day that I
was at the New York Liberty Game. I was unable
to attend. But it's coming out on August twenty second.
So shout out to Tiana Taylor and prayers for you.
That's her livelihood right there, all right. And Eminem made
a surprise appearance at his documentary premiere in New York City.

(16:36):
This was when he showed up to a sold out
theater that was full of his stands. That's the title
of the newly produced documentary. And so shout out to
Eminem for that. I know people did not know. It's
not like Eminem pops out too often, you know what
I'm saying. And you know, he told his fans that
he loved them and that he saved that they Oh,

(16:56):
they said they loved him and he saved their lives.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
That's what this dance told him him, all right.

Speaker 14 (17:01):
Now.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Kim Coles was recently talking on with her former co
star Erika Alexander. They have a podcast re Living Single,
and she talked about what producers would tell her manager
about her weight At the start of each new season.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Here's what she said.

Speaker 15 (17:18):
I would get a call every beginning of every season
to my manager saying, Kim Coles has to lose some weight.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
She has to lose some weight.

Speaker 15 (17:24):
They threatened me and said, if you keep gaining weight,
we're gonna have to start writing fat jokes.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
And you said, I.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
Won't read those.

Speaker 15 (17:32):
Executive said it to my manager.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
Can you believe that? First of all, Kim Coles was
amazing that whole show.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
What I liked about it was that it was so relatable.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
It felt like it could be us.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
You know, I never really watched that show.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
What, oh, you gotta get out.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
I've watched it, but I never really watched it.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
You know what, you have time to catch up now,
all right, Well that is and you know that that
show is what Friends based their show on. Really, yeah,
it was like the white version. All right, well that
is your Yet, when we come back under the radar,
these are the stories that are not necessarily and the headlines.
They're under the radar. When I tell you everybody's been
texting me today about turning off my location on Instagram,

(18:16):
we'll talk about that. It's way up.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
It's in the news that relates to you, these stories
are flying under the radar all.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Right as way yep, but angela.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Yea, yeah, yeah, yes, and let's talk about under the
radar stories that you need to know about it when
I tell you. From this morning, everybody was texting me
about these new Instagram features, in particular the one that
has your location. There's several new updates to Instagram. There's
a new friends tab, and there's maps that connects people

(18:47):
as well that can show where your location is. So
it's not supposed to be on automatically, but for some
reason for people it is like that.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
I know yours was definitely said.

Speaker 14 (18:57):
No.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
I said, never make sure if if you don't want
to share your location, because a lot of people are
upset thinking that this can be very dangerous. Just make
sure that you go inside of your settings and turn
off sharing your location all right now. Adam Maseri, who's
the head of Instagram, said your location will only be
shared if you decide to share it, and if you do,

(19:19):
it can only share with a limited group of people
you choose to start.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
Location sharing is completely off.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
But that's certainly not true, so just make sure that
you can check that and see what it is. When
you share your locations and your stories, it'll show up
on the location map for twenty four hours. Just to fyi.
There's a new Instagram feature also. It's called the Friends
tab in reels, so that's where you just can see
public content your friends have interacted with, or recommendations from

(19:46):
blends that you've started, and easily start conversations about them.
They started rolling that out earlier this year and now
it's launched globally, just so you know, for things that
you may want to understand what's happening. Now, there's another
new social media platform. I thought this was quite interesting
and I cannot wait to hear what you think may know.
It's going to replace user names with net worth. It's

(20:08):
called two Cents and it's a social media platform, so
instead of using your username, it's going to say how
much your net worth is. So right now, the highest
verified networth on that platform is sixteen million dollars. So far,
there have been fourteen hundred users onboarded through a private
beta testing and that's bringing in more than one hundred

(20:29):
and fifty million dollars in connected assets. But they verify
you by linking your bank accounts, your brokerage portfolios and
crypto wallets through plaid and then they link your bank
accounts to that and that's how they know what you're for.

Speaker 4 (20:44):
What's the purpose of net worth is just to talk
to people to network?

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Yeah, I mean, I guess that way you can see
like that if you're trying to get something done, at
least you know that the person that you're talking to
can even afford to do what it is, or like investment.
It's not necessarily a dating app. It's a social media platform.
So for instance, you know, if somebody is trying to
get you to like do something or invest in something,

(21:10):
you know what their net worth is automatically pretty interesting.
But they said, we want to connect wealthy people to
smart people. That's the idea behind it. What does the
world look like with a social network that enables that.
I wonder if your net worth is like twenty five dollars,
if you can still be on there all right, well

(21:30):
that is you're under the radar. We do have the
way up mixed for you. At the top of the hour,
we got asked ye with the award winning advice giving
new Mano and we got more yet for you, more
breaking news. It's way up it's like a tout.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Like a Angela Jean, like they Angela Jean. Man, she's
spilling it all. This is yeaky way.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
It's way up.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
But angelague yea, yeah, I'm here. Mano's here right now.
We're talking about what makes a good husband. But first
let's get into some yet The Office. You know that
was one of my favorite shows. Did you watch that?

Speaker 4 (22:04):
Watch The Office?

Speaker 2 (22:05):
The Office?

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Amazing show.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
Well, the spinoff, the Paper, has put out their first
official trailer and it's going to be on Peacock. It's
set at a dying Midwestern newspaper in Toledo, Ohio.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
And here is part of that trailer.

Speaker 4 (22:20):
Welcome volunteers to your first staff meeting as reporters for
the Toledo truth Teller.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
How many of you have actually written for a paper before?

Speaker 4 (22:29):
I wrote a paper in junior high. Oh, tweet, I'm
in a group text.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
This is terrific.

Speaker 6 (22:33):
That's joing how it's done.

Speaker 10 (22:36):
Seven highly motivated, tenacious buck eyes are out there hunting
for news.

Speaker 1 (22:41):
He'd be a fool to butt against that.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
All right, So one person who will be on this
is the Office star Oscar Nunez.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
Also, he was in the original he's in the office.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Yeah, but you know, let's be clear, the original original
was the UK version and it was the American version,
and then now we have this spin off. Yeah, we
started in the UK. So this is going to premiere
September fourth on Peacock. All right, now, Laila Ali is
you know I you think she should fight?

Speaker 4 (23:11):
No?

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Why not?

Speaker 8 (23:12):
No?

Speaker 7 (23:13):
I think that she has not been active in the sport.
I think that when she was in the sport, the
sport wasn't as as modernized, it wasn't as evolved. I
don't think she was really fighting the fighters on the
level of a Clarissa shield So I'm gonna be honest.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
Well, Clarissa Shields did get that fifteen million dollars together
to be able to fight Laila Ali because she says
she needs that bag and so she's waiting for Laila
Alita respond.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
Well, here's what Laila Ali had to say.

Speaker 14 (23:44):
Now to answer the question that I know many of
you who are poking around waiting for me to give
you an answer. The answer is yes, I am going
to answer your question when.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
I'm good and ready to do it.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Because you know what, nobody.

Speaker 14 (23:59):
Calls shots on me. I do things when and how
and where I.

Speaker 6 (24:03):
Like to do them.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
So that's the reason I do feel like she's duck
in her I'm gonna say.

Speaker 4 (24:09):
No, no, I feel like she she put a foot
in a mouse.

Speaker 7 (24:12):
She said, she talked that whole you know, fifteen twenty million,
and then she went and got it secured. And then
it's like, oh, really, I don't I don't think that
fight is even going to happen.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
It's not logical, right, but people, would you watch it? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (24:26):
I will watch it all right now. Kid cutting a
memoir coming out of August twelfth.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
It's called Cutting the Memoir, and he talks about one
of the lowest points of his life and how he's
call blowed up and he almost overdosed. There's an excerpt
that's he's put out and it says I was at
peace with dying and he said this before he collapsed
to the floor and felt paralyzed. You made great music
that people loved. That thought, But this is the end.

(24:51):
I couldn't make sense of what was plaguing me.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
It was all happening so fast.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
The first man on the moon had been out for
about a year, and I was on a rocket ship
grappling with fame pushed me towards cocaine, which I only
ever did alone. I was drawn to it in isolation,
and my time by myself was increasing. And he said
once he consumed small bumps of cocaine before escalating into
daily lines that were as wide as my pinky. And
so he said, his rage came from his reality not

(25:15):
aligning with his dream. I thought being set financially was
gonna save me and make everything all right. I thought
being kid cutty would transform my life in all the
best ways.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
It didn't.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
So get ready for his memoir coming out on August twelfth.
All right, well that is your yee tee when we
come back, ask yee. Eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty is a number. Call us up any question
you have. I'm here with the award winning advice giving
about to get married.

Speaker 6 (25:40):
Man.

Speaker 2 (25:41):
No, that's eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
Y'all know we got two points of views, but we're
here to help you out. And in the meantime this
song can help you out. Maybe you need a little
love in your life. Here's Kenjick and Sizza with Luther.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
All right, everybody like since with its relationship with career advice.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
Angelo's dropping facts. You should know.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
What's up his way up.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
But Angela, yee, I'm here with the award winning advice giving.

Speaker 3 (26:06):
Nod now may No.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
We needed to be nice and sensitive today because we
have Anna on the line.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Hey Anna, what's your question for? Ask ye?

Speaker 10 (26:14):
So I currently discovered that my husband is having one
a flat all honestly, I really love my husband. I
love my family.

Speaker 12 (26:22):
We have home, kids and all that, and I want
to lose any my head. But at the same time,
I'm very hurt because he want them to the affair.
He says he wants to see if I'm able to change,
because he says I was too jealous. I was constantly
checking on him.

Speaker 10 (26:38):
Because he did have past affair, so I had a
hard time like trusting him. We never put the work in.

Speaker 9 (26:44):
I told him we would.

Speaker 13 (26:45):
I'll be willing to put the working this time, but
he just he won't mpt the affair.

Speaker 10 (26:50):
It's like I don't know what to do. I'm like,
should I fight for him or should I just like
let him be?

Speaker 2 (26:55):
And I just can I say something? It feels like
number one, you already fought for him. He's blaming you
for him having an affair and multiple affairs, not just one,
which is why you don't trust him exactly.

Speaker 10 (27:08):
He never wanted to go to a couple.

Speaker 4 (27:09):
Of counseling, right, But he's not happy, right?

Speaker 6 (27:12):
Is that why he.

Speaker 10 (27:13):
Said he wasn't happy with the fact that I was
constantly on him, like questioning him if.

Speaker 16 (27:18):
He travels for business, that would be questioning like for.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
He was Yes, that's right, right, but that's not a
good feeling. You gotta find balance.

Speaker 7 (27:25):
If you're going to forgive him, then then don't crucify
him at the same time, but.

Speaker 2 (27:29):
He also said he's not going to stop. Listen. I
know we all hate the word gas lighting, but this
is what it feels like. It feels like he's messed up,
gotten caught, and then someone has you feeling like you
have work to do instead of feeling like he has
work to do. So the fact that he's not begging
you and saying I'll do whatever it is that you

(27:50):
need me to do is wild to me.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
And it's never a good feeling.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
And I will agree with Mano on this, It's never
a good feeling to not trust somebody, right. And then
the fact that you can to him about it, and
he's not willing to end it.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
It's like he made a choice.

Speaker 10 (28:04):
He's telling me that he doesn't know how to let go,
but at the same time, he's afraid of letting go
of the other person because he doesn't want to go
through the hard work for me to trust him.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Now, it's up to you. There's nothing he's gonna do differently.
What are you going to do differently?

Speaker 13 (28:20):
Right?

Speaker 2 (28:21):
And sometimes people don't know what they got until it's gone.
And listen, it's always hard to say, hey, I want
to end things. We have a family together. How is
it going to affect the kids? What's the dynamic going
to be. It's a scary thing. Sometimes we're in a
relationship that's so messed up and dysfunctional we think it's normal,
and that's not always the case. There can be somebody
out there that is willing to do the right thing

(28:42):
and that will make you happy.

Speaker 3 (28:43):
You sound unhappy. Doesn't your happiness matter?

Speaker 13 (28:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (28:47):
It does?

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Well on Stand on your business?

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Okay, thank you you yank me, Love you guy, We
love you too. Stand on business okay, don't let him
do whatever he wants.

Speaker 9 (28:59):
You got it?

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Okay? Check back in with us.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Please hi will okay, Well that was ask Ye and
thank you Anna for calling eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
As a matter of.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Fact, you know Mayna and I both gave her advice.
We want to hear what you have to say because
I know Anna is still listening. So anything that you
want to say to Anna right now, if you've been
through something like this and you want to give advice
on how you got through to the other side or
maybe it worked out, eight hundred two nine two fifty
one fifty, call us up. We definitely want to hear
from you. It's not just about asking Mano and yee.

(29:29):
It's also about we're a community, we're a family. Let's
give some advice. Eight hundred two nine two fifty one
fifty is way up?

Speaker 4 (29:38):
H what's you want to know?

Speaker 16 (29:39):
My name?

Speaker 1 (29:40):
Way up with Angela Ye?

Speaker 2 (29:41):
Turn me on what's up? As way up with Angela Yee?
And ask Yee was really touching today.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
You know.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Mayne is an award winning advice giver and Anna called
in and she was really going through it. It looks
like her husband is cheating on her. He's not willing
to give up the other woman, and she doesn't know
what to do.

Speaker 7 (29:59):
What do you think, mano, You should know what your
boundaries are and your limits are as a human, because
one thing I know is that a person is going
to do whatever they want to do. Now it's up
to you to decide if that's something you could deal
with or not. If that's something that you cannot deal with,
then you got to pick yourself.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Yeah, the ball is in her court at this point.
You see what he is, you see what he's about.
What are you gonna do now, Wendy, what do you think?

Speaker 6 (30:23):
I will tell her to please please recognize her work,
and she says she has children. We're all like an
inspiration and the role model for our kids. So if
she models with behavior for them, her girls or her
boys are both are going to see, oh, this is
the way I treat people, and this is how they
should accept being treated.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
That is great advice. It's really important you've been through
this before.

Speaker 6 (30:45):
I'm pray fun. I have been in relationships where I've
given a lot and received less than and I just
basically ended like a fourteen year relationship because he wasn't
given what I wanted. It wasn't that much. I asked
for it.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
All right, well, thank you for calling and sharing with us.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
We appreciate it.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
Thank you so much, Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Hey gg Harry answer, what advice would you give to
Anna who called in earlier?

Speaker 3 (31:13):
She's really going through it.

Speaker 13 (31:15):
I would just tell her don't expect anythings, because he's
already shown her that he's not willing to change. But
if she's willing to stay there, then she needs to
take that expectations out of the relationship for her.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Right, if you want to stay, know what it is,
and know what it is. Have you ever had to
do something like that?

Speaker 13 (31:35):
Absolutely? The best decision I ever made was to take
that expectation.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
Stayed with somebody she did and just had no expectations.

Speaker 13 (31:47):
I had no expectations, and then that bad liam just
finally fell off by itself.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
That's right, Okay, all right, all right, well, thank you
for calling.

Speaker 13 (31:56):
Thank you, y'all.

Speaker 8 (31:57):
Have a great day.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
Listen, I'm leaving. I'm taking action.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Hey Jerry, Hello, you want to tell me and may know,
what advice would you give to Anna who called in earlier.
She's dealing with a man who just won't stop cheating,
and he's even.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
Like look, I'm not leaving this other woman alone. But
she's married.

Speaker 6 (32:16):
You know this man out here that look and she
sounded like a good one.

Speaker 4 (32:20):
Yeah, okay, I think maybe you come on down here,
gust the children, Okay, come on.

Speaker 2 (32:28):
Down all right, thank you for coming for calling. All right, well,
thank you guys for calling. And when we come back,
I know a lot of people couldn't get through, but
you can leave your message and have the last word.

Speaker 3 (32:42):
It's all about you. It's way up.

Speaker 9 (32:43):
Take up the.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Phone tap to get your voice heard. What the word is?
He is the last word on way up with Angela yee?

Speaker 3 (32:52):
What's up? His Way up with Angela?

Speaker 12 (32:53):
Yee?

Speaker 2 (32:54):
It's me and Mano, you know, just out here helping
Mano find his wife and mental day and you know
Mano Day August seventeenth, Angela yu Day, you already know
what it is, August twenty third.

Speaker 3 (33:06):
Both of them are free.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Check us out. I'll be at the Barclays Center free performances. Man,
what's gonna be their performing too? Right, I'm gonna announce
all of the performance that I'm having over within the
next week. All right, So y'all know what you're gonna
and it's gonna be a lot of surprises, So I'm
excited for everybody to come out hang out with us.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
As you know.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
Tonight, I also have an event at cup Coffee uplifts
people stop it. I'm eating a cupcake and my girl
Ingrid is going to be their I best wine. She's
literally one of my best friends, and so I know
it's going to be a vibe. You know, it's all
about entrepreneurship and community. And again, this is your show,
so you have the last word.

Speaker 9 (33:43):
Hello Angela Ye, this message is for Annam. I too,
am going through the same situation. My husband is you cheating?
For like the last four years, I've had to accept that.
It's recently I've decided to step out on tape to
get me an apartment and move out on my own.
And it was the hardest thing I had to do,

(34:06):
but I know God has my back, and I asked
Anna to do the same thing, to get up enough
courage and just step. I don't say God has her back.

Speaker 16 (34:15):
I would like to shine the light on my daughter
and Mariah. She's newly graduating high school going to college,
and I'm so proud of her and I just want
to shout her out, shout out, see your daughter a
baby girl. I love you, you keep doing good. And I
want to shout out my baby boy.

Speaker 9 (34:34):
Pop Y.

Speaker 16 (34:34):
I love you to death. Shine a light on my babies,
God bless them.

Speaker 1 (34:40):
Is way up, the way up.
