they show up and it's not what you think. But anyway,
let's get this show started. We got a lot of
love and a lot of positivity for you. We got
a guest host on the way. My guy Fred, the
owner of Media Takeout, is going to be joining us shortly.

fifty Call us up, let us know who you want
to spread some love to? Who do you want to
shine a light on? You know, I got a good
one for you today. It's way up the pluck up
a machine.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
Turn your lights on, y'all kind of light spreading love
to those who are doing greatness.

A light on the Yeah, it's way up at Angela yee,
And it's time to shine a light.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
And today I want to shine a light on.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Somebody who started a business in Memphis Desiree Robinson. When
she was eighty five years old, she became the first
woman inducted into the Barbecue Hall of Fame. She's the
owner and pitmaster of the Cozy Corner restaurant she founded
with her late husband back in nineteen seventy seven. She
had moved with her family to Memphis when she was

(01:50):
young in search of better opportunities.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
She opened up the restaurant.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Her husband at the time, Raymond, was an awesome cook
from day one, she said. Early in our marriage, he
sat me down one day and told me I love
to cook. And she said, okay, then I want to
keep you happy. I didn't do a lot of cooking
I'm an excellent cook too, but she said he enjoyed
himself so much when he was cooking. And that's when
they opened up the restaurant in Memphis. He took a
he was working odd jobs before that, and they opened

(02:16):
up Cozy Corner and through the years she would work there,
and then, unfortunately, when he passed, she had a decision
to make. They were married for forty three years before
we passed, and she decided to go ahead and keep
the family business going. So shout out to Desiree Robinson.
All right, now read who do you want to shine
a light on?

Speaker 6 (02:34):
I want to.

Speaker 7 (02:34):
Sign the light on. Her name was Queen ok City
and with her name is Tina Harris.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Okay, tell us about it on a real queen.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
We have a three year old baby, yes, queen.

Speaker 7 (02:46):
Her name Queen Scarlet. You know what I mean? She
do everything she can for this baby, or I'll do too.
I would sign the light on real woman.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
So what makes you say this is she put you
through something? I mean, did you put her through something?
Is what I meant?

Speaker 8 (03:01):
Yes, I did.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I know.

Speaker 7 (03:03):
I mean, I make my mistakes, but I made up
for the mistakes.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
I was gonna say mistakes.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
As long as you're learning from your mistakes and not
repeating them, that's the most important thing.

Speaker 7 (03:13):
I hope she hit us.

Speaker 8 (03:14):
I appreciate your queen all.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Right, thank you so much, and shine a light on you,
on your lovely, beautiful.

Speaker 8 (03:20):
Wife, beautiful Queen Scott.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
And your beautiful Queen Scarlett. Thank you for calling.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Well, that was Shining Light eight hundred and two ninety
two fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you
could leave a message shine of light the last word,
and when we come back, we got your e T
and Snoop dog he is showing his support for the
LGBTQ plus community, will tell you what he had to
say and also a song that he has about it.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
It's way up, going way up out with Angela. Yee,
they say in the rooms.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
From industry shade to all of gossip out, sending Angela's feeling.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
That yet all right, his way up with Angela.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Ye.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Happy Monday.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
By the way, pred for media take out will be
here tomorrow now today there was a little mixed out
and dates, but let's get right into this et. So
Snoop Dogg has shown his support for the LGBTQ plus community.
You know, there was some backlash previously about things that
he said, and I guess, you know, after that he
said he had an issue taking his grandkids to see

(04:19):
light Year because there were two women kissing and raising
a child together. I guess now he's trying to show
that it is a beautiful thing.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
He doesn't have to worry about that anymore.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
And the song from Doggie Land, he's highlighting diverse families
on the kids show Here is Love is Love.

Speaker 9 (04:37):
My kids program, Doggy Land presented me.

Speaker 8 (04:40):
Whereas the song Where's teaching Love is Love?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Is teaching parenthood? Is teaching the situations that kids in.

Speaker 9 (04:46):
The world is going through right now in a beautiful
way through song, dance, melody, and just trying to get
more understanding clarity on how we live and the way
we live. And I felt like this music is a beautiful,
you know, bridge to bring in understanding. These are things
that kids have questions about, so now hopefully we can
help answer these questions and you know, help them to

(05:08):
live a happy life and understand that love is love.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
All right, Well, he posted and said this one's for
our parents out there. We see you, we love you,
and we celebrate you.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Change familial we have.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
We have.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
You, all right. That's cute.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
It's a little bob I like it all right. In addition,
let's talk about Monica and Brandy. Now, they were in
Chicago's Saturday Night and Brandy left the stage.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
People were confusing the audience.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
They were disappointed until Brandy released a statement saying that
she was dehydrated and so fortunately she's feeling better because
the next night she was Indianapolis and she managed to
perform there. But the sudden departure from that particular show
was because she said she couldn't connect to the tunes sonically,
and she also said it wasn't her best show by

(06:22):
any stretch of imagination. She went to a local doctor
and she's taking proper precautions to avoid a situation like
this in the future. But she did say she's grateful
to Monica for stepping up in a really tough situation.

Speaker 7 (06:33):
Right.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
And Kanye West has sold one of his two ranch
properties in Wyoming. He purchased that back in twenty nineteen,
and he sold that back to the original owners, Greg
and Pam Flittner's. They notarized the sale on his behalf
on September seventeenth.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
He still has another.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Ranch in Wyoming, the Monster Lake Ranch that's still up
for sale since he got divorced from Kim Kardashian.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
All right, well that is your yet.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
When we come back, we have about last night where
we discussed what we did last night.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
I had a very active weekend.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
I was in Detroit, flew back on the first flight out,
hosted the cookout here in New York City. I'm also
been watching a show on Netflix. It had me up
until four a m. I'll tell you what it is.
It's way up whoa night night.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
So about last night, yis?

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I went down all right, his way up with Angela yee,
and it's time for about last night. So first thing
I did over the weekend Friday, I headed out to Detroit.
Of course I went to fix Ins because why wudn't I?
And then on Saturday, I was at Michigan Central Station
for the Opportunity Resource Fund fortieth gala event. I want
to shout out to everybody who came out to support

(07:42):
It was actually sold out.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
They even had to add more tables.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
That's how amazing it wasn't how many people are in
support of the Opportunity Resource fund that really helps people
when it comes to emergencies, people who are homeowners, people
who need help, you know, with their rent, all of
those things. And shout out to Ronda Walker who interviewed
me on stage. She's a news anchor from Detroit and
it was a great conversation, so I enjoyed that. Then

(08:07):
I took the first flight out in the morning. By
the way, this government shutdown really was showing because they
said there was only one runway open at LaGuardia, so
definitely were some delays and trying to get in, but
fortunately I landed because I came back and had to
host the cookout with my guys, Chef JJ. This is
his first time doing the cookout independently and it was
sold out as well. Such an amazing experience. All of

(08:30):
the chefs that were in attendance that were participating, my
coffee company, Coffee Uplips people was there. We were doing
espresso Martiniz but also just co brew coffee and tea.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
So that was an amazing day.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
Shout out to everybody, and shout out to Chef JJ
for pulling that off, because when I tell you, people
were telling me this was the most community type of
event that they've ever felt, and Blao actually popped out
and sang a couple of songs, including one of my
favorite soul sisters, So that was nice to see. And
then last night I actually was catching up on this
series and it's called The Guest on Netflix. I was

(09:05):
up until four o'clock this morning trying to watch and
see what was going to happen on this show. But
it's based in Columbia and it's a thriller. But let's
just say it has to do with a car accident,
a cover up, it has to do with bribery, and
then a lot of affairs and a lot of different
things going on, people coming out of the closet.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
So it's twenty episodes. I got two more left.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Can y'all believe I stayed up all I am exhausted today,
but I feel good because I'm almost done with the series.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
I can't wait to go home later and watch it.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
But anyway, when we come back, speaking of that show,
The Guest on Netflix, tell us a secret because there
was so many secrets on here, Like if I could
tell you there was a car accident, there was a
cover up, imagine if and this is not giving anything
away because this is how the series starts. But imagine
if your child has a car accident and does a

(09:55):
hit and run and covers it up, and then now
you don't want to turn your kid into the police.
That's kind of like how things really start, uh snowballing
into something worse. But we want to hear your secrets.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. It cannot
be any crazier than everything that happened on his show.
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty. This is
a no judgment zone. You're anonymous, call us up, tell

(10:16):
us a secret. Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty.
Its way up, You're way up.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
This is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
Yeah, it's way yeah, buddy, Angela yee. And you know
what time it is. We do this every Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday. It's a no judgment zone. You are anonymous,
and you get to call us up and tell us
your deepest, darkest or brightest secret. Eight hundred two nine
two fifty one fifty. What's up, anonymous, color? What's your secret?

Speaker 10 (10:41):
Okay, So I'm a mobile ride technician and i I'm
around taking.

Speaker 8 (10:46):
Blood for a living and like especially so.

Speaker 10 (10:48):
Everything you would do you go to a lab. So
one of my places is not as older. You're like
fifty two. But anyway, like he got a house and
all that. I'm trying to be a nose.

Speaker 7 (10:56):
So excuse me.

Speaker 10 (10:57):
I don't know if I can say that, sirch word.
And I'm trying to be a nerve. So like he's
trying to put me on. So he's one of my
closest friends right now. And I didn't tell my bands
that I have younger patients and even babies.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
Oh okay, well that's not too bad, younger patients and babies.

Speaker 10 (11:10):
Yeah, but one of my patients is like, I'm kind
of talking to him one a law, but I'm not
gonna take any further. And I'm not taking no further.
I just need I just need him in a court
to put me on because he a doctor.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Okay, so you're basically messing with him. Are you sleeping
with him?

Speaker 8 (11:27):
No, I'm just talking to him.

Speaker 10 (11:28):
We have runched on phone. I ain't even gonna.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Lie, Okay, So you're just flirting with him to get
what you need to get some more patients to make
some more money.

Speaker 10 (11:35):
Yeah, but my man thinks that all of my patients
like older and the craft at like eighty and ninety.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
So you think he would feel away about you going
to people's houses that are younger and taking blood.

Speaker 10 (11:44):
Yes, so it's exactly why they're tome.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
And he insecure. So if it ain't like you an escort.

Speaker 10 (11:49):
Yeah, but she don't trust that because I kind of
felt like he was right about what he was saying
about me having patience under fore nay he.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Fifty Okay, so he knows and then and part of
it because you said he cheated, it's because he knows
he can't be trusted.

Speaker 10 (12:02):
Exactly, so he thinks that I'm gonna cheat, But really
I'm not gonna cheat. I mean, well not what I think.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
Maybe somebody else.

Speaker 10 (12:12):
I love him, but in my patients be texting me
like good morning, he'd be like, good morning, how you
doing all the sud I'll be wishing my man would
say people about how you doing a right?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
He's like the relationship and you getting it from other places.
It's helping you stay in this relationship even longer than
you should.

Speaker 8 (12:30):
Yeah, Because I mean, like I'm low key from him,
like in my mind, like my patriot is mommy.

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Wow, he was so your man was right about a
lot of things. He can't be trusted, so he knows
how these guys be out here because he's one of them.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
But if your man ain't.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
Buying you flowers, he's cheating on you, not texting you
good morning, and doing all of these things, it feels
like it's not your man exactly.

Speaker 10 (12:50):
He talks like I just bought a roommate.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Yeah, well there you go, girl. Don't just be content.

Speaker 10 (12:55):
I'm trying not to. But my patient looking like he
could be number two.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
All right, Well you know, did you got a boyfriend?
Number two? All right? Well, thank you for calling?

Speaker 11 (13:03):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (13:03):
And on him is calling?

Speaker 2 (13:04):
What's good? Hey?

Speaker 8 (13:05):
How you doing you?

Speaker 3 (13:06):
I'm good? What's your secret? Today?

Speaker 12 (13:08):
I caught my wife she not I went through her phone,
found out she was messing with somebody else. So I
wanted and did my thing. I had a flash.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Oh my gosh, did you tell her that you you
found out?

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (13:19):
I tore it. I found out. You know what I'm saying.
It was crazy.

Speaker 12 (13:23):
It was crazy because, uh, you've been married for a
little minute now.

Speaker 8 (13:26):
I wanted to did my thing. Man I had a
good change at the head that walk.

Speaker 12 (13:30):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (13:30):
We still getting it on now. Yeah, we have free trying.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
What they say in the phone when you look through it,
Oh for.

Speaker 8 (13:36):
Real, for real.

Speaker 12 (13:36):
I started texting him like I was hers, and that's
how I kind of guy all the infos. You see
what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Oh, man, do you know who the guy was?

Speaker 12 (13:45):
No? No, so that's a good thing.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Yeah did she what did she do? Did she beg
you and apologize? Was she crying like what happened?

Speaker 8 (13:52):
Yeah? She trained get me back?

Speaker 12 (13:53):
Now, man, I don't think it's gonna work through.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Man, Okay, so you out the door?

Speaker 8 (13:58):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I'm not downcent know the do so
and the woman.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
You stepped out with since you had such a good time,
is that a contender?

Speaker 12 (14:04):
I mean, I ain't no love of boy like that,
So I ain't looking at jump back into ninety six,
you know what I'm saying. But she a beautiful She
a beautiful personality, So we will see hackle.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
Wow, all right, Well, thank you for calling. I hope
things work out for you whichever way you decide to go.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
Show for sure, that was tell us a secret. Eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
If you couldn't get through, you could leave a message
and tell u's a secret for last word when we
come back. We got your yeat and Tupac's big hit song,
Brunda's got a baby. That's a true story, and we'll
tell you about that baby and what he's got going on.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Now, it's way up.

Speaker 11 (14:37):
Well, she's like to talk like they Angelie Jean, like
they Angela Jean.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Man.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
She's spilling it all. This is yeat, way up.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
All right as way up at the angela Yee and
it's time for your yeat. So j Lo recently was
on Highwison and one of the things that she talked
about is that she feels like she's never truly been loved.
And she said, what I learned, it's not that I'm
not lovable, it is that they're not capable, they don't
have it in them. And that's her referring to her excess.
So imagine that they're very offended by that. Well, one

(15:10):
person has spoken out, and that was her husband, Oh
Johanny Noah, and he went on social media and said,
stop putting us down, stop putting me down with your
victim card. The problem is not us, not me. The
problem is you. You're the one who couldn't keep it in
your pants. And then he went on to say that
she decided to lie to cheat on him, and he said,
even though I stayed, you begged me to keep the

(15:31):
marriage and tech to avoid bad press. But you went
for the fast lane of your career. Start im not
caring about me. You wanted to continue cheating and lying,
he said, tell the truth for once. You should be embarrassed,
ashamed of yourself. And you know, of course, a lot
of people are talking about her dating history, her marriage history,
and wondering why would she say that? But I think

(15:51):
in retrospect, a lot of people may feel a certain
way about their relationships and how they feel like their partner.
Maybe in the time you feel like you're loved, and
then afterwards you look back and you're like, actually, that
didn't really feel like love, all right?

Speaker 3 (16:02):
And Sweety is.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
Speaking out after the women who claim to have managed
her has accused her of unpaid debt and unprofessional behavior.
Sweety sent out a statement, the recent accusations made about
me are false, infammatory, and deeply disturbing. These claims misrepresent
the facts and are solely aimed to damage my reputation.
The person never managed me. She was simply introduced to
me by family. Her motives are now obvious. I let

(16:25):
the lawyers take it from here. And so the woman
in May back May, who has been going on about Sweete,
said that Sweety uses drugs, all these allegations about her
dating for money, and so we'll see how this all
plays out, all right, Eli Chopper versus Jonathan Majors. The
two of them were on the Denna Kings podcast, that

(16:45):
is Kirk Franklin's podcast, and things went a little bit
left now. Nli Chappa was stopped by TMZ and he
had this to say about his tense conversation with Jonathan Majors.

Speaker 7 (16:56):
But like, it's not an.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
Issue with Majors, I never had one.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
I do feel like it was texton going into the
interview on his behalf because our publicly said means compliment
and Megan did about looks and stuff.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yeah, it wasn't even that, bro.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
It was like, you know, I respect whatever union y'all
have brought her into the equation and they said, you know,
no disrespect to the young brother, and she did not
you get me, you bresh me off. I feel able
to see it to disrespect her.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
All right, And I saw it out to Angela Nli
Chapter's mom in the comments, like y'all need to watch
the whole video.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
One thing she's gonna do is vibe for her son. Well.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
On that podcast, here is just one of the exchanges
that went viral about the Bible and Christianity.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
It's a thing where people praise the son more than
they praise the Father. And that's what I don't like,
because if we are man made in the likeness Jesus
is our brother. Get what I'm saying, Why would I
drop down and praise my brother instead of praising my father?

Speaker 8 (17:54):
I just gotta say, so, have you read the Bible?

Speaker 2 (17:57):
Read? I read the Bible.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
I listened to the Bible.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Shit read it again.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
And so it felt like there was some shade to
Nli Chappings that he felt like there was some shade throughout.
And when he's referencing Meghan Good, I forgot about this,
but when he was on the Jason Lee Show, Jason
Lee actually called Megan Good because Nli Chappa had reference,
you know, having a little crush.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
And here's what happened, Megan.

Speaker 13 (18:19):
I'm filming right now with a rapper who just said
your name. We're playing a game called smash her pass.
I put up Megan Good and he almost fell out
his chair. Everybody doesn't be getting passive. Say hello to
Nli Chopper. He hasn't given me this much energy the
whole interview, but now I see every tooth in his mouth.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Hi, Hey, how you doing me? I'm extremely blessed. I
was just telling she hung up? She just hung up.
That's wild, all right?

Speaker 4 (18:47):
And wife and Lucie was on Fucky Friday with Cam
Newton on his podcast and one thing that he talked
about was Gunna versus versus young thug and what he
feels like needs to happen.

Speaker 14 (19:00):
I do feel like he should speak about it, you feeling.
I feel like people want to know his side. You
feel I even feel like thug woman know how he
feels and know his side. You know what I'm saying,
He got to speak about it. They say he got
tricked or whatever. Actually look at it like he just
told on But you kind of like throw it into

(19:22):
the bus. You old explanation.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Woof, that's a tough one because it feels like Doug
is like, no matter what, we're not gonna be cool again.
But you know, everybody's on these forgiveness tours now, so
maybe the two of them. I don't know that he
publicly needs to say anything, but maybe they will speak.
All right, Well, that is your yet when we come back.
Ask Ye eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty
any question.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
I'm here to help you out.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
That's eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. Ask
yee is next?

Speaker 5 (19:51):
Everybody like six with its relationship or career advice, angels
dropping facts?

Speaker 2 (19:56):
You should know.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
This is as Key what's up? His way up? With
Angela Yee?

Speaker 4 (20:00):
And it is time for ask Ye eight hundred and
two ninety two fifty one fifty. We got Chai on
the line. Hey, Chi, what's your question for asking you?

Speaker 8 (20:09):
So?

Speaker 15 (20:10):
I have a friend we called each other, sir.

Speaker 7 (20:13):
I'm in love with her and I don't know how
to tell her. Also, she's a minister.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
Oh she's a minister. Does she know that you like women?

Speaker 8 (20:22):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Okay? And do you get a vibe that she likes
you too?

Speaker 15 (20:26):
You know how it is with us females, like we
have to sister friend Vibe.

Speaker 7 (20:30):
Sometimes she'll come and like she'll sit on.

Speaker 15 (20:32):
The couch next to me, and she'll like put her
head in my lap, or she'll put her head on
my shoulder, or she'll be like, oh, let's go hang
out or let's go away somewhere, and then we'll wait
and she'll get like a king bed or something like that.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Okay, but I'm not the double bas.

Speaker 7 (20:47):
Exactly, So you know, I don't really know, you know,
what to say?

Speaker 3 (20:51):
I mean, is she waiting anybody?

Speaker 7 (20:53):
No, No, she's not, and either mine and we got
a weekend trip coming up to upstate New York this week,
So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
I do. I mean, it's feeling like she's not with anybody.
You're not. You guys are taking all these trips together.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
She's doing all these things, and she probably is torn
in her head too about what to do, cause she
knows your preferends.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
You know, are you bisexual? Are you lesbian?

Speaker 8 (21:22):
No?

Speaker 3 (21:22):
I'm okay, And she knows that.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
And so I'm sure she knows there's a potential as
y'all are spending so much time together, I think the
best thing to do is throw like a little hint
and see if she catches it. Okay, like listen, if
nothing else, but you know, we should be together. You
could say little things like that and then she's like, oh,
I wouldn't do that, and then you'll be like, okay,
I guess she wouldn't. Or if she's like, girl, you crazy,

(21:46):
come in, let me put my head on your lap.
You know, sometimes you gotta drop the little hints.

Speaker 7 (21:52):
Okay, I'm gonna see this week kid. I'm not gonna
make it awkward though, but yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
Don't make it awk and make it like a joke,
and let me ask you this, would you be willing
to cause sometimes when things like this happen, if it
doesn't work out, you could lose the friendship.

Speaker 7 (22:06):
I don't think I'm my side. I don't know her side,
and yeah, you know we can't be messy, so I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
Has she ever been with a woman? Have you all
ever discussed that?

Speaker 7 (22:15):
I mean in college?

Speaker 4 (22:17):
Okay, so there you go. But yeah, just a little
hint I think is good. Just get it going that way.
You could ease into it and that way if she's like, no,
I wouldn't do that or whatever, you can just keep
it moving and not have to bring it back up again.

Speaker 8 (22:31):
Okay, Faith, and I appreciate it, all right, Chad, good.

Speaker 7 (22:34):
Luck, thank you? All right?

Speaker 4 (22:37):
Well that was ask ye eight hundred two ninety two
fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, leave a
message and ask a question. That way we'll get to
it and when we come back. I want to talk
about this show that I've been watching. It's a twenty
episode series on Netflix. It's called The Guest and the
main I guess foundation of this show is that there's

(22:58):
a couple and they're order run somebody over with the car.
This man is now in a coma in the hospital,
and the mother didn't know at first.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
But the father covered it up because he.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
Did not want his daughter, who was underage, to have
to go to a juvenile de liquid facility. I want
to know for the people listening, call us up. Eight
hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. If your child
hit somebody with a car, kept going and covered it up,
would you have their back or would you turn them in?

Speaker 3 (23:28):
All right?

Speaker 4 (23:28):
Eight hundred two ninety two fifty one fifty. If your
child hit somebody with a car and you found out
about it, would you turn them in or would you
cover up for them? Eight hundred two ninety two fifty
one fifty Does that kid need accountability? Its way up
in no bed?

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Who about to do this?

Speaker 5 (23:47):
One of lemos to frame this women in radio vidio
open and we're talking about Angela Yee.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
You're way up with Angela Yee. Please believe that?

Speaker 3 (23:54):
All right? His way yup, Puy Angela Yee.

Speaker 4 (23:56):
And we are talking about his show that I was
watching on Netflix.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
It was called The Guests.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
And one of the things on the show, and this
is not giving away the actual series is twenty episodes,
is that the daughter who's underage, runs.

Speaker 3 (24:11):
Somebody over with a car. That man ends up in
a coma.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Now, her and her cousin cover everything up and when
the father finds out, When her dad finds out, he
covers for her because he does not want her to
have to go to a juvenile detention facility. All right,
So we want to ask you, if you're a parent,
if your child did something like that, would you cover
for them or would you turn them in? Because that
becomes the question eight hundred two nine two fifty one

(24:35):
fifty what would you do if that was your kid? Hey, Ronnie, Hi,
So your kid runs somebody over with a car. They're underage?
Are you telling are you going to cover it up?

Speaker 11 (24:45):
I am one hundred and ten puspent ovando up oooo?

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Are you nervous that?

Speaker 4 (24:53):
I mean, think about the fact that there's a chance
that they could get caught and then in even more trouble, man.

Speaker 7 (24:58):
We're going back together?

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Okay, all right, fair enough. That's definitely sounds like coming
from a parent. And that's exactly what happened in that movie.

Speaker 7 (25:07):
That's right movie.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Are you watched it? You watched the series, but it was.

Speaker 16 (25:13):
Another movie something like it where the son he was
the son of a judge.

Speaker 7 (25:18):
And the judge covered up the father.

Speaker 11 (25:20):
He covers up the crime, and I learned a lot
of what he did.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
I was like, so you ready to cover something?

Speaker 10 (25:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (25:28):
You ready to cover something?

Speaker 2 (25:29):
That you got?

Speaker 3 (25:30):
You got the keys exactly?

Speaker 4 (25:32):
I got the Okay, all right, well let's look into her.
No I'm kidding, but thank you, thank you for calling mom.
Than LaToya, Right, your kn't hit somebody with a car
by accident?

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Would you turn them in or would you cover it up?

Speaker 10 (25:48):
I'm gonna have to turn them in? Why because no
justice if we both.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Damn. That could cost some issues forever.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
But okay, so you turned him in, and maybe you know,
if he's under age, it's an accident, it's probably better
actual running make it worse.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Sheesh. All right, Well, shout out to your kids. I
hope you not listening, Derek.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
Yeah, your kid who's underage run somebody over with the car.
That person's in a coma. Are you gonna cover it up?
Or are you gonna turn your child in?

Speaker 8 (26:26):
I have to turn my child. I love him, but
I have so han't cover that because if the rooms
was reverbed, you know, I don't know how that that
parent would fill. I've had two boys and two girls.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
Okay, and I know this, Lin's right.

Speaker 8 (26:42):
You know what I mean. Wepp in Urgan City all day.
I'm sorry, but I'm gonna turn you in.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
Because you're saying you hit somebody else's kid, and if
that was me, I would want to Yes, I understand
what you're saying.

Speaker 8 (26:54):
I've had gotta be justice on both sides. Then that
child has to learn.

Speaker 7 (26:58):
If they didn't learn.

Speaker 8 (26:59):
From teaching them, then they learn them from somebody else.
But I'm sure you got a gold baby.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
What do you think your kid's mother would.

Speaker 8 (27:07):
Do I can't see that over the phone, but.

Speaker 10 (27:13):
She would do the beat.

Speaker 8 (27:14):
I can't say over the phone.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
She riding for them kids.

Speaker 16 (27:17):
Boy, don't pick off on her baby.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
See how dads are.

Speaker 16 (27:22):
Okay, I thought what she was gonna be, but her baby,
she gonna let her baby, got them out, put them
on bond.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Wait you say she would turn you in, but she'll
cover for the kids.

Speaker 8 (27:34):
Yeah, she don't see I did it.

Speaker 3 (27:35):
Okay, that's fair. Thank you for coming. I gotta keeping
it all right.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
Well, you guys, it feels like y'all turning them kids
in a lot of you. But eight hundred and two
ninety two fifty one fifty you know, last word is next,
and we definitely want you to steal weigh in.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
It's way up.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
You can't take up the phone taping to get your
voice heard with the word.

Speaker 2 (27:59):

Speaker 4 (28:07):
I'm ready for the start of an amazing week. It
feels good. I had a really active weekend. Over the weekend,
I was in Detroit, came back to the cookout, with
Chef JJ. Now we're here. I got another active week
coming up this week too. Don't forget NYC votes. We
are doing an event at my coffee shop cup on Wednesday.

(28:28):
We will be watching the mayoral debates as a family
together as we're going to see who will be the
next mayor.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
You know, early voting.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
Does start on the twenty fifth. I believe, hold on,
I got my NYSC voter right here in front of me.
They send the package to the house hold on hold on. Okay, Yes,
October twenty fifth through November second is early voting.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
Election day is November.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
Four, So locally, wherever you are, make sure you know
when you are supposed to vote. I always, always always
recommend voting early when you have an opportunity to do that,
so that just in case there's some hold up, some traffic,
something happens, there's an emergency, at least you know you
got it done and out the way. So just got
to make sure we reiterate that. But again, you guys know, man,

(29:12):
y'all were calling in today off the hook. We were
talking about a show that I watched on Netflix, a
series that was called The Guest, and we were asking
you guys, if you would cover up for your kids
if they hit somebody with the car and kept going,
and some of y'all turning your kids in okay, and
some of you are breaking the law for your children.
I'm not saying what's right and what's wrong. But anyway,

(29:33):
as you know, this is your show. We love you, guys,
and you have the last.

Speaker 8 (29:37):
Word I want to give.

Speaker 6 (29:39):
I want to sign a light on my sister Shawty.
She she was a big help in my life coming
upbout coming out of my breakup. She literally been there
with me. She was literally at my house for them
in four months, helping me with everything. I just literally
had my son. He looked two years old. I was
really in a dark space of my life.

Speaker 15 (29:57):
So one of my.

Speaker 11 (29:59):
Biggest experience I've never told anybody I had a Mexican
sugar daddy and I wanted him to pay for something
or to give me a certain amount of money. I
forgot whichever, but I guess we have like a disagreement
and I called ice on

Speaker 5 (30:15):
