Speaker 1 (02:30):
My people in Chicago, we've gone shouting out riddles and
my man Damian Williams, if we could sell our two

big deal in Chicago. And then I'm throwing a big

Boulevard with my man Mooke diamond S And this is

(02:50):

Well, that was Hina Light. Thank you. Tkkurkling. Make sure
y'all check him out.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
And when we come back, it is Valentine's Day tomorrow,
and so I want to talk about this study. Okay,
fort of young men have never approached a woman in person.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
We'll talk about it. It's way that's interesting.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Yeah, let's go turn me up.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Here we go again.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
This is way up with Angela yee.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
It's way up at Angela yee. TK Kurkling is here
with me today. Now, TK, you know me and you
we're both a little old school. Yes, but there's a
new study. Men age eighteen to twenty five have a
forty five percent of them have never approached a woman
in person.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
And what is that about?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Can you imagine never approaching a woman in person and
what that does to your social skills?

Speaker 1 (03:50):
And the young men don't get it. They don't understand.
Women need to feel that conference know that they're beautiful
when a man comes up, make eye contact, and you
can actually build the chemistry if there's a connection. Even
back in the day when I was just before social media.
You're so a girl that you like. You got an
ink pen and you wrote her number down on the

(04:11):
nap You the so r that you punched the hole
in the in or we remember the number.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yes, I've done that.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
I was with my at the time boyfriend's sister met
a really cute guy, but I was at my boyfriend's sister,
so I had to memorize his number.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yes, exactly, these are these are those type of moments.
Back then, we had to use our brain. Or the
girl wrote her number down. You could understand her writing,
but you wanted her so bad that you would dial
that number and you would dial one to zero to
get the right number. That was the last number.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Let's do something when we come back, TK, I want
you to let the youngins who are listening out there
and know how to approach.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
A woman's Yeah, I got that.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
I'm going to actually play this out.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Sounds good.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Can we do that?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Absolutely?

Speaker 2 (04:55):
All right? It's way up.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
You don't want to name way up Angela ye?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Turn me on.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Way up with Angela yee? And I'm here with my guy,
TK Kirkland. Now, we were just talking about Valentine's Day
and studies have shown forty five percent of men aged
eighteen to twenty five have never approached a woman in person.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
TK. You've done this thousands of times.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
No, one point seven million, So I want you to
show everybody how it's done. If you're going to approach
a woman in person, you know, let us get a
front row seat to this.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Okay, Okay, I think the first thing a gentleman should do. God,
you make an eye contact with the young lady and
you just walk up to a book first. You gotta
have confidence, and you got to smell good, and you
introduce yourself as Hello, my name is T. K. Kirkland. Man,
I know your name. I find you extremely beautiful, and
you have time to talk. Then you got to know
when you're outnumbered. Okay, meaning if you got if there's

(05:48):
some woman that you'd like, she's with a group of people,
do not approach her. Her girlfriends are going to determine
how that friendship is going to start. So you wait
till she pivots away, or she waits. You find her
in a moment by herself for you say hello, I
was watching you? Can I buy you a drink?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I was watching you? Is a little creepy?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Is watching you is like you're having a drink, you're
talking to your friends, You glance away, you make that
eye content. It depends where your mindset is. In today's world,
young guys call that being a scent. And I always
say that's because your money's not right. But when you're trying,
you're going to spend money, either directly or indirectly. That's
just the way life is. Right. So if you got

(06:28):
a few dollars, buy everybody drink, because now the mood
is right. The women start saying, oh my god, I
like him.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
So that you send over the round before you approach them,
because no, none.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
That's wrong, okay, because you lose that way because you
may not be her tight and you walk over and
she looked at you like okay, thank you, peace, and
you stuck. But never spend nothing that you're not willing
to lose.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
Now, how do you take it now to actually getting
her information or trying to see her again?

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Well, two things that you know. If she does give
you her number, say can I have your phone? And
you put your phone number in and I call it myself.
It doesn't work out. I called myself. Now, two things happen.
You'll find out if you're interested later. And no harm,
no foul, Everybody going about their business. And that's how
men have to be the reason why I'm bringing this up,
because men do not like rejection. Now, a little rejection

(07:21):
is good because there's other people.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
It builds character.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Bill, I totally agree it. Bill's carried. I totally agree.
If you get used to a lot of knows, then
you get the one that you really like that like
you back.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Good practice.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
I always remember this, gentleman and ladies always rock. With
someone that likes you more than you like yourself.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Then you like yourself.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Yeah, then you love yourself. If you have someone that
truly loves you more than you love you, that's a win.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Geez, well you gotta build up to that.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
But you gotta build up to that.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Well.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Listen, if anybody needs more tips, definitely hit up.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
T K Underscore Circle. If you need tickets to the show,
hit me on my dm a TK undersculled Curkling. We
give out ten tickets for each show and been that
no man asking for any tickets.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Oh damn.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
All right, well forget that last minute Valentine's Day idea.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
That I was going to give people the women here,
Now you can get the i'd give the women.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Do they want to take that?

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Ladies, they can bring their men.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Okay, all right, Well, when we come back, we are
going to talk about last minute Valentine's Day ideas because
you know it's tomorrow and I know.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
And you don't need no sexy laundress.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Some of y'all waited. Let's talk about this.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
It's way up, way up with Angela. Ye more. Now,
what's up?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Its way up with Angela?

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Yee.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I'm here with T. K. Kirkland. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
There's nobody else I'd rather be with the day before
Valentine's Day than you.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
I love that, sweet her. That means a lot to
me because you said it with such sincerity yea and
a smile.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I love this.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
All right, So let's talk about some last minute Valentine's
Day gifts because I know a lot of people unfortunately
waited till the last minute.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
So what are some ideas that you have TK?

Speaker 3 (08:54):
If it was you know, Valentine's Day is tomorrow, you
gotta do something special, but you're not prepared. You've been
traveling and to completely slipped your mind.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
I would buy all my women the rose oh.

Speaker 2 (09:06):
The vibrator.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Yeah, okay, yeah, because I'm tired.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Now, I do want to say, as a woman, if
you don't forgot, we like planning you know, and so
we like to feel like you made some effort, you
tried to plan some things out. So if you can
do something, say in the house, because I also think
going out for Valentine's Day, if you haven't planned that
way in advance with reservations, you're not going to get

(09:35):
anywhere going. But you can do them some things at home,
like maybe you put together a whole male idea, especially
for guys who don't normally cook. I think it's cute
to show the effort of me trying to do something
for you that's special.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
Now, whose day is the guy? Is the girl's day?

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Guys, it's a girl's day.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Okay, I just want to make sure.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
That's the guy's holiday, sweetest day.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
But I think you should do something for your man
to a handwritten note, I produce a Dan gave that
he's getting married, so I think that he's trying not
to spend too much money.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Dan is white. Yeah, so I'm going to say that
because not that it's a bad You see, he sees
things in a different way than the urban community. So
when he was doing the flower thing, I really thought
that was really phenomenal and creative.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Okay, what's the flower thing, the.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Rose pedals on the on the bed and all that.
I've never done that in my life. So hear him movies, Yeah,
only in movie right, so I think he really does that.

Speaker 7 (10:30):
My corrector, Yeah, you can get the box of the
fake flower pedals and like I didn't even know, I
mean Amazon.

Speaker 6 (10:37):
But if it's tomorrow, you're in bad luck.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
I'm people roses and toll more.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
That's a fortune.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I'm going to do that now Amazon.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
From Amazon, well, now it's too late, and then can
turn into.

Speaker 6 (10:57):
The oil, give a full body massage.

Speaker 8 (11:01):
You know.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
There's a lot of things you can do low budget.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Yeah, but the rose pedal thing is blowing up. All
these years, I actually thought people bought flowers.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Don't come in here with no fake flowers next time.
Don't do that.

Speaker 7 (11:13):
Also, the searcharge for flowers during Valentine's Day is bs.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
All right, Well, listen, we gave you all some ideas.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Yeah, good luck everything.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Yeah, good luck with that. When we come back, let's
talk to T. K. Kirkland about everything he has going on.
I got some more questions. I want to know about
your best Valentine's Day. Okay, so if there's something memorable
for you. It's way up.

Speaker 4 (11:33):
Were about to do. This is the famous women in radiodio.
We're talking about angela Ye. You're way up with angela Ye.
Please believe that what's up.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
His way up?

Speaker 3 (11:43):
But angela Ye and T. K. Kirkland has been rocking
with me for the past two days. TK, you have,
by the way, a big show in your hometown for
the first time ever. Yes, in Jersey City with some
of Jersey's finest as well.

Speaker 1 (11:54):

you're gonna catch me in Philadelphia at the City Winery.
We're a man Terrade March sixteenth, New York City and

(12:16):

Speaker 2 (12:17):

Speaker 1 (12:18):
March twenty first to the twenty second, you're gonna catch
me at Riddles in Chicago, Illinois with.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Damon February twenty first to the twenty second. You mean
yeah in Chicago. Yeah, you said Mark to.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Me, what is my mind?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
I got you?

Speaker 1 (12:31):
We got you gotta say much.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
You can go follow T. K.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Kirkland also and get all of these days and make
sure you do that too. And it is Valentine's Day
tomorrow and it's All Star Weekend.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Yes, and you're gonna do You're going out to the
All Star break.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Yes, I am, and we're gonna talk about that. And
I'm also gonna record. I'm gonna be live from All
Star Weekend tomorrow too. I'll be reporting it. I got
invited to so many things out there, so I cannot
wait to let y'all know. But I'm actually going out
there for the NBA Foundation. I'm going to be a
judge as we're giving away some grants to some up
and coming entrepreneurs.

Speaker 1 (13:03):
I wasn't busy. I have a fly out there because
I'd love to see you work.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
When we come back.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Speaking of Valentine's Day because I didn't get to this,
but I want to know your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
TK.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
I want to talk about Valentine's Day. Do you buy
gifts for your children's mothers or have you ever done that?
If you're not together, I want to discuss that. It's
way up, turn up you way up.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
With angela Ye.

Speaker 6 (13:24):
More.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Now, what's up way up at angela Ye? I'm here
with T. K.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Kirkland it's Valentine's Day tomorrow. Now I have a question
for you. Yes, having children, but not being with a mother,
do you buy gifts when the kids are young? Yes,
for your children's mother, yes, No, or maybe from the kids,
because I know people do that. They'll buy a gift
for the mom, but act like it's from your.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Done that now that I think about it, Yeah, I've
gotten a car and get it to your mom. Yeah
for me, yeah, even though sometimes things work out bad
because I have four one night stands when I was young, right,
which is a horrible situation. Right, there's nothing to bring
teach men.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
More than for one night stands. Though period it's.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Probably about seventy five. Yeah, you know, And but it's
good to try to have a co parenting experience and
be respectful. Even doesn't doesn't work out when you're young,
you say a lot of stupid stuff. But when you
grow old and you get behind you you're respectful and
you're going about your life, and so you can do

(14:24):
something and you feel it from your heart going and
do it. But that woman or that god causes your
pain going about your business to keep them.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
What if you were dating a woman and who had
kids and the father bought her a Valentine's Day present
just because, you know, thank you for raising the kid.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Right, would that bother you?

Speaker 1 (14:40):
That wouldn't bother me. But I could see that bothering
some other men, because a lot of men are insecure,
you know, and they think that something is still going on.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
I want to say, as a woman, I do think
if you guys are cordial, it is a nice gesture.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Yes, even if what happens, if that's been going on
when you met that young lady, she'll know there's nothing
really good. Because there's some women that truly go out
the way to show you there's nothing going on with
me and my father, my baby's dad. And women who
do that, A man is more comfortable and secure the
women who tiptoe around it, or you don't really know

(15:12):
what's going on and leave your mind to wander the wander,
that's dangerous.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
All right.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Well, that's just some advice for everybody out there. If
somebody is doing a great job raising the kids. Yes, ladies,
don't get jealous, if you know, don't get jealous he
buys his kid's mother again. All right, Well, when we
come back, you know, we got the way up mix
at the top of the hour, It's way out.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Whether it's relationship for career advice, Angela's dropping facts. This
is as key.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Its way up with Angela. Yee, I'm Angela Yee. T
K kirkling his hair and we are doing ask you.
You get to call in and ask for advice on anything. Hello,
who's this anonymous caller?

Speaker 2 (15:53):
Oh?

Speaker 8 (15:53):
My god, I can't believe about god through ok what's
going on?

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Player? All right? Well, what's your question for asking you?

Speaker 1 (16:03):
All right?

Speaker 8 (16:03):
So Tuesdy, my girlfriend and my best friend hate each other,
and I have no idea what to do. Okay, Like
my girlfriend tells me to he said, now grow your
best my best friend and my best friend tell me
to leave my girlfriend. So I'm just stuck in the middle.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Why do they not like each other? Like, what did
something happen?

Speaker 8 (16:21):
Well, my best friend likes to make a lot of
like stupid jokes that can come off his rude, but
I know he won't mean nothing by it. And my
girlfriend's extremely sensitive. So I'm just like, I think it's little,
but they just can't seem to get along.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
I say this, I've seen this situation happen.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
I actually had a boss who everybody hated his his
fiance and he used to be like, well, you don't
have to like my wife, so I'm the only one
that has to like her. And I also feel like,
if your friend is really your best friend, then he's
gonna have to just kind of adjust when he's around her,
knowing that she's sensitive.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Because he would do that out of expect for you.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
I can't say something, why don't you just keep them
away from each other too? Or who's easy to replace?

Speaker 3 (17:08):
I mean, I would try not to have them around
each other. I know sometimes that's kind of impossible. But
if that's really your friend, then he should be a
sensitive because it feels like he does things that because
of their personalities, she gets offended easily, and she's sensitive
and he says things that offend her. You know, I
think that he should try to just adjust that when

(17:28):
he's around her, just knowing that sometimes the reaction is
not there the way that he would want it to be.

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Just keep them away from each other. You're playing like
you're eighteen years old, you've grown. Just keep them away
from each other. You spend time with your boy, spend
time with your girl. They shouldn't even be around each
other anyway, because if they started liking each other dating,
you really be upset. It's right, keep them away from
each other because us sure she attractor? All right, your
dude away from your girl.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Okay, there it is, keep them separate Angeline, all right,
Well that was ask ye. Thank you guys for calling
eight hundred and two nine two fifty one fifty. If
you couldn't get through, leave a message. We can help
you that way too. And when we come back, take.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
Up the phone. Tapping it gets your voice heard. What
the word? He's the last word on Way Up with Angela?

Speaker 6 (18:17):
Yee?

Speaker 2 (18:17):
What's up? Is Way up with Angela?

Speaker 6 (18:18):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (18:19):
I'm here with TK Krekland.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
Good times always with your Angela.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
We're planning for November already now.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
I'm ready. We would headed the game. You already know,
ladiesship for you not. If you don't understand, angel will
tell you I stay a year to two years ahead. Yes,
with my schedule. I don't play with I take it
very seriously, and we'll do this again twice this year.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Yep, you're gonna do lip service?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
Yes, because I got I got questions and I love
your viral statements. Yes, and then you'll be back here
for way up in November of twenty twenty seven.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Right, no, no, this year.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
