Speaker 3 (01:43):
Absolutely, I do want to shine a light. Actually, Angela,
I want to shine the light on you today. Yes,
you probably don't remember this, but back in twenty twenty,
you and I met on clubhouse. I asked you you
remember that. I asked you, like, how do I get
into this space? I really was desperate. I was talking
to you and you said, you know, just stay focused,

(02:03):
you know, working with people's party list and network. And
I was like, you know what, I'm going to do
that and I said, hopefully one day we'll work together.
And here we are full full circle moment.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
This member clubhouse was a thing.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yes, And honestly it's so special because in this industry
that we work at, it's really hard to get in
the spot and for you to allow me on your platform.
I'm super grateful, and this is my first time on
air and you're giving me my moment.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
I can't believe this is your first time on air.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Say you're giving it to me, so I'm forever like.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Well, you know what you've been doing. It's a great job.
And you have your own show on your own content.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
You have like hundreds of thousands of subscribers on YouTube already.
You know, made people mad, which that happens though in
the line of work that you do.

Speaker 5 (02:43):
People aren't always going to like what you have to say.
So you got it.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Thank you so much. I'm trying out to cry up here,
but thank you.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Well, I'm grateful that you're here because honestly, you're about
to bring a lot to the You're telling me things
that I didn't even know about behind the scenes. Okay,
all right, and I'm going to shine a light today
on Jamie Hector and his organization Mountains because I want
to sign a light to you know, you play Marlow
Stanfield on a Wire and he actually started this organization
in two thousand and seven while he was still on
the show.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
But what he does is he works with.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
The youth and he helps them with different programs that
run year around in Brooklyn. So if you want to act,
you want to sing, you want to dance, work behind
the scenes and drama, dance, filmmaking, all of those things,
he helps with that. And he's had so many success
stories since two thousand and seven with the students. He's
had students go on and act in things like The

(03:32):
Wu Tang, American Saga, Law and Order, SVU Power, god
Father of Harlem, the Last Og East New York, Raising Canaan,
all of that. So just to see these kids and
I've seen them in action, the way that they are
able to just you know, shape their little lives and
become great thriving actors in this business, it's not an

(03:53):
easy thing and he's so dedicated to it and so
tuned in. So shout out to Moving Mountains and it's
one of my favorite organizations, Moving Mountains NYC dot org.
FYI in case you want to enroll your kids or
donate some money. All right, and when we come back,
we have your y E t Armon. Are you a
Drake fan, Yes, I'm just fan.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Well I'm from the West Coast, so you know, I
love Kendrick, but I like Drake too.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
All right, well, let's see what happens when Kenjock went
to Toronto. We'll talk about it. They tried to do
this Drake Obo takeover. Looks like it didn't happen, but
we'll discuss its way up.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
It's soothing the rooms.

Speaker 7 (04:27):
From industry shade to all of gosp out sending. Angela's
spilling that yet, Oh it's.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Way up with Angela Yee and my guy armand Wiggins,
The armand Wiggans show is here with.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Us, you know the vibes. What's going on?

Speaker 5 (04:39):
They not like us, And let's get into this.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Kendrick Lamar, he was in Toronto and two nights by
the way sold out and people were thinking, Okay, how
is this gonna go?

Speaker 5 (04:51):
What did you think? Initially?

Speaker 3 (04:53):
You know, I was worried about my boy because I'm like, hey,
he's in Drake's city. You know, how's this gonna go?
Are they gonna boom him? Are they going to to
give him a shot? Like, what's gonna happen?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
They try to do this obio takeover. It was organized
to kind of shut things down. They wanted to blast
Drake's music.

Speaker 5 (05:09):
They were handing out. They said, free pizza. That was
the plan.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Ob Yo hoodies. They wanted to celebrate Toronto. They said,
no drama, no tension, just vibes. But they had to
cancel it. They said things didn't They didn't expect things
to blow up the way they did. They said it
started off as a joker, turned to a full on
movement and so it did not happen, right, But what
did happen was when Kenjack Lamar was on that stage,

(05:33):
he got a two minute standing ovation.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
Is that wild?

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Wild? I wonder how Drake feels about that, because, let's
just be honest, Drake is very sensitive. So Drake, you know,
I feel like Drake will be like, there's no ovio fans.
Now you guys have to forget y'all.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Well, this was not anticipated, I will say. And they
were even shouting uh for him to do even more.
Here's what it sounded like, not like us.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Not one more time. That song is a classic record
and it did what needs to be done.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
It is disrespectful.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
You think it's disrespectful.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
I mean, you know, that's his city.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
And but anyway, they said Night two were sold out
to and they said this is one of the top
selling shows on the tour.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Also, and listen, the song is still going up even
a year later.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
All right, well, shout out to Kendrick. Now, let's talk
about Nellie and Ashanti. So their show We Belong Together
is going to be on Peacock and it actually comes
to your screens Thursday, June twenty sixth.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
That is going to be the premiere. Are you excited
for that?

Speaker 3 (06:41):
I actually love that for them.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Okay, Well, here's the trailer.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
In the beginning, we were still finding where we were going.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
We were together off and on for eleven years before
the final.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
I hated I hated him. I didn't think that we
would get back together.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
She got me, y'all.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
He wanted to get got.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
I love that.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
Eleven years see, and they found each other.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
They found their way back.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
All right, Well, shout out to Nelly and Ashanti. Feels
like they're gonna come up here at some point. And
you know what, I think, every break, we gotta throw
a little something about this trial in there. Now, there's
rumors that Kanye West was gonna attend Diddy's trial. According
to CNN, they were saying that Kanye's in New York
he wants to go to a session.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
You've been outside, what have you seen?

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Well, I didn't see Kanye, but when we were inside
the courtroom, we did take an extended sidebar, okay, And
I was asking around, and the little birdie in the
courtroom did say that, you know, Kanye might have been
in the courtroom but just was not allowed inside because
it was going to be some sort of witness intimidation.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Oh, what's going on? We got breaking news?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Okay, secret service AMP says Kanye West and Back reportedly
arrived at Didy's trial this morning and was denied access.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
Okay, that was yesterday. Yeah, that was yesterday. Okay, so
that was the word while you were there.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah, but they did say they can't confirm that Bianca
was there. It was more of a Kanye kind of situation,
and he was there to support Diddy.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
You know what's interesting.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Kanye also does not like Kid Cuttie, and kay Cutty
was on the stand and has been tied into this
as well. They had their falling out, So I don't know.
And there's also talk about this other alleged hip hop icon.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
And here's the thing. I mean, let's just be honest,
how many black male hip hop hip hop icons?

Speaker 7 (08:33):
Are there.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Icons icons current at the time? Freakof girlfriend?

Speaker 2 (08:40):
I mean, but apparently they're saying that it was involved
in one of the freak offs with Jane Do. Yes,
all right, well when we come back about last night,
that's where we discussed what we did last night. I
was all over the place. I was in Philly. I
had an event from New York City votes at my
coffee shop. But now I'm here it's.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
Way so about. Yes, I went down.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
It's way up at Angela. Ye am, I waking his
hair with me. We are celebrating today, Yes we are, Angela.
So listen, you're you've been here covering this Diddy trial.
Uh huh for how long now?

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Since the day one of the trials, since you hit
the stand.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
It's not a game. So what did you do last night?

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Because I know you've been super busy handling that, but
you know you're.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
Up here with us today.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Way yep. Well you know what, Honestly, I was trying
to make sure that you know I was ready for
way up. I had to get this hairline together, so
I was trying to decide what I wanted to do,
because you know, I don't have a hairline right now, okay,
and so I'm like, this might be filmed, so I
finally should cover this. Well, what's the advice?

Speaker 5 (09:42):
What's your hairline?

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Well, it's bad, as you know. I had to get
the hair transplant and so but I went and got
a haircut for you, right, and they did the black
spray and they did all the fibers and stuff. But
I went to sleep, Angela and woke up with no hairline,
so I had to think quick rubbed off.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
I just want to say, do you see maybe I
brought up yeahs airline?

Speaker 3 (10:05):
Okay, Yeah, it's a tattoo yep, okay.

Speaker 5 (10:12):
But people like it.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
It's kill it's not gonna wrap off. I feel you,
my brother, because we're struggling right here. I think I'm
gonna show you on the break.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
I can't wait to see this because I don't know
if I.

Speaker 3 (10:23):
Was seen Angela. Okay, one more shout down.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
To shot were taking the scarves off.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
We're taking the scars off. No diddy back in, Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
But I want to say, yesterday I was in Philly
for the just U Summit talking about social justice and
just kind of collaborating this and ideas a week where
everybody comes together. The keynote speaker at the luncheon that
I was speaking at the women's luncheon was Michelle West.
She actually had double life plus fifty years when she
got sentenced, and I mean she man it.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
As you can see, she's now home.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
She was actually granted clemency and so that is amazing.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
The murderer was given.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Full immunity in exchange for testimony about her.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
Can you imagine that?

Speaker 2 (11:10):
So she this was her first time speaking, like since
she's been home, she's done different things, but giving like
a keynote. So it was amazing. It was a great
space to be in yesterday. And then I had an
event in my coffee shop for New York City votes. Okay,
the mayoral debate was on last night. When they tell
you something, this New York City politics is more entertaining

(11:31):
than any television show they was going in on Cuomo.

Speaker 5 (11:35):
Really listen.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
While we were in there, there were certain moments that
everybody in the coffee shop it was a viewing party,
was like, oh, and I shout out to Nix Sale
aka Navy.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
These politicians be crashing out, Lady, what's up with that? Like,
what's the professionalism.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Now listen, these politicians is wow. But anyway, tell us
the secret is next.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
Now I know you've seen. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Shout out to my neighbor Kristen who came up to
me yesterday and was like, girl and listen and it's
tell us secret real. I'm like, it's very real. People
really call in and tell their secrets. One person asked
me to take down her secret because the family knew
it was her and she was like please, like can
you take that down?

Speaker 5 (12:13):
And I did immediately.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
But eight hundred nine two fifty one fifty call us up,
Arman Wiggins is here.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
Y'all got to impress him today with y'allsey.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
Yeah, and I'm ready for a good secret, Okay.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
No judgment.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Eight hundred two nine two fifty one fifty call us up,
tell us a secret with taking shots yo.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
Yeah, this is a judgment free zone. Tell us a secret.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Ooh, it's that time. It's the way up in this
time to tell us a secret. Armand Wiggins is here.
I know you're about to show out mm hmm. I
hope they do, and they will remember you are anonymous
and we're not trying to get nobody in trouble, so
it's a no judgment zone. No judgment eight hundred two
nine two fifty one fifty anonymous caller tell us your secret.

Speaker 8 (12:52):
I'll told you a couple of days ago. I told
you about my secret and my boss's wife.

Speaker 5 (12:57):
Yeah, you were living with your boss's wife.

Speaker 8 (13:00):
Yeah. So apparently my boss listens to your show. And
I'm so surprised because he is not the proper dudes
that were listening to like that top of radio face.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
First of all, you okay, no, but go ahead.

Speaker 8 (13:12):
But personally he likes he likes you a lot, Angela
your show, and he recognized my voice. So now I'm
stuck with his wife.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
So he fired you.

Speaker 8 (13:21):
He didn't fire me, per sue, because he kind of
said that he had a feeling. But now I can
have his headache.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Wow, so he said, now, so Jesse, are I st
So you know, he called in last week anonymously and
said that he was sleeping with his boss's wife, and
you know, he's been going off at the time, but
he was also cool with his boss.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
I think I heard this and was this the same
guy that said that him and the boss were cool
and they used to go they would golfing together or
something like that.

Speaker 7 (13:46):
Yeah, that's you.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yes, and so his boss heard him, Well, so do
you like, say, I gotta how do he confront you
like what happened?

Speaker 8 (13:55):
Oh? He can shut up? And he told me you
haven't heard of that show Upper Andrew. I was like yeah,
He's like I listen to that show all the time.
And right there, I went right and then he's like, yeah,
I'm just heard of the corner he said he was
sleeping with. His voices were, Man, I could have sworn
that sounded just like you and I and I want

(14:15):
to say. He's like it was you, wasn't it Dan?
And I'm like, uh, I'm not even gonna lie to you.
And I just filled the beans on him. And he's like,
you could have that headache.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Let me let me ask you this though. Do you
like her? I do not, But why were you with
it for so long? And why were you know, you.

Speaker 8 (14:34):
Know, the relationship really started with like the way me
and my boss was. We was close. You know, I'm
like I was like his right hand man and they
always had marriage problems that I was always in the
house listening to him argue, and you know he'll stole
out the house and I'm there sitting there. His wife
would just confront of me, and then one thing led
to another. She made a move. I just went with it,

(14:56):
and I thought it was gonna end there. But it
was just like I was the situation where I'm afraid to.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Tell her no, but that your friend was cheating on
his wife too, right, That's what I.

Speaker 7 (15:07):
Remember he was.

Speaker 8 (15:09):
I mean, I don't know if he flirted a lot.

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Okay, he's just from he's just.

Speaker 8 (15:14):
From shading stuff that, you know. I don't know if
the next to him cheating physically, but I know I
know he was out there.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
Well, two things I want to say, A make sure
you check out ZIP recruiter is a great way for
you to find a new job. And b bosses listened
to the show too, period facts. Well, good luck to you, Sarah.
You have to feel like a burden is lifted there.
Now you ain't got to sleep at the wire no more.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
And you know it is.

Speaker 8 (15:41):
Well, I'm stuck with her, so she had stayed my
house for a few days, gonna get all day.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Well, make sure you cook her nice dinner.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
She's staying at your.

Speaker 8 (15:50):
House for the next few days. I think she's gonna
go to her sister's house.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
She got a whole we'll send to your bottle here
so you guys can have a nice nod to maybe
some red lights.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
Oh my god, I.

Speaker 8 (16:04):
Do want to thank you boy. I mean, I didn't
want to get blown up like that, but I had
to get that burning.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Up my back.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Okay, all right, well, thank you, you got a new burden.
Now don't leave sis, just lay up. Oh can you
imagine now the s ide piece got to I mean you,
the side piece. Now the bus's wife got to move
in with you.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Yeah, now she got to move in with you. Will
stay for a couple of days.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
It is the reality show right here.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
But my thing is you don't like her, but you've
been with her for all this time.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
All right, Well, when we come back, we got your yet,
and let's talk about kay sanat versus wallet. I'll be
curious to see your take on it. Well, discuss it
with our mind Wiggins. When we come back this way.

Speaker 7 (16:42):
Up sure, she's about to blow the lid of off
this spot. Let's get it. Angelus feeling that yeeze, Come
and get to see.

Speaker 5 (16:49):
It's way up at Angela. Ye, I'm here are mind.
Wiggins is here, you know the vibes? What you eating?

Speaker 3 (16:54):
So I'm eating this popcorn, cookies and cream the actually
kind of good good.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Okay, that's cute and got a little we gotta get
you some real food.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Okay, now this is good?

Speaker 2 (17:03):
All right, Well, let's get into this et Kits and
Nat and.

Speaker 5 (17:08):
Wille the two of them.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Whoever would have anticipated a back and forth between the
two of them, But this all started with Kaysonna not
recognizing Wala. Where was this at the BT Awards, right,
And here's what happened when Wile pulled up on him.

Speaker 3 (17:24):
What Russ good, I'll beat you a yay Wally?

Speaker 7 (17:32):
Oh my god, that was somebody crazy. The whole chat knows.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
Him what he do.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Well.

Speaker 5 (17:41):
Wiley did not take too kindly to that.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Now let's put it into perspective though, because while was
like they did this celebrity football game together, they played
on the same team. So he was confused that Kyson
I didn't know who he was because they've actually done
things together. He said, this is crazy, and he he
also didn't know they were being filmed when he approached
him to so you know, but I think when it

(18:04):
comes to Kaysonat, you should always know you're being filmed.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Always, all right?

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Well after that, then Caysanat did go on his stream
and here's what he had to say about that interaction.

Speaker 9 (18:16):
Wile see 'all got the name right. I hope he
didn't take my interaction personal. How can you blame me
from just being who I am? I'm young, Give me
my wallet, chat.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Flower ball, let me get your favorite fragrancy.

Speaker 7 (18:30):
I know, so when did this come out?

Speaker 3 (18:36):
Twenty eleven?

Speaker 5 (18:37):
I was nine years old now?

Speaker 2 (18:41):
To be fair, though a chill is a great song?
When did that come out? With Jeremiah hold On? Let
me google that on too, because that is my song.
And I also feel like in the space of like
fashion and all of that, Wilee, but what do you
think I wasn't here like I need to say something.

Speaker 6 (18:55):
No.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
I just feel like it's like Heistana does not have
to know him, and I feel like people give kays
such a bad rep a lot of times when he
makes the slightest mistake. To be honest, I feel like
people just want to be on his stream and it
kind of hurts their feelings when he doesn't know them
or they don't bring them on stream. Kay's not going
to know everybody. We don't know every topic that we're
talking about. We don't know everybody here, and so I
can't expect this guy to know everyone because everybody wants

(19:18):
to know him or wants him to know them because
he's so popping.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
But I understand what he was saying, like we pleaded
on the team together. I don't know, Yeah, that was
a little weird, and I think that was his main thing.
Like damn, I thought we like hung out, you know,
with teammates.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
But you know how people are. You know, people just
kind of go along to get along, and so you
just forget you just oh yeah, hey, what's up on
the team. But it's at a work event. You're probably
not even really tripping.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
They didn't have to say I do understand that the
fact that I don't know people a lot of times,
and you got to like remind me of where I'm like,
oh okay, then I know, and I feel bad about it.
And I guess it's even worse when it's on streaming.
Like you said, he didn't know that Ky's not streaming,
And I don't feel like it was necessarily confrontational and
might have just been Yeah, it wasn't that serious.

Speaker 5 (20:00):
It just happened to get captured on stream.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
And yeah, it was more like you didn't even know
that he did know you. He just asked his child
like who is that? So I'm away, what really did it? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (20:08):
And then they called them Wally.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Wally is Christy?

Speaker 5 (20:11):
All right?

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Well that is when we come back under the radar.
These are the stories that are not necessarily and the headlines.
They're flying under the radar, but you need to know them.
That Air India flight, the one survivor is speaking out
and I mean, that is a wild story that happened,
but we'll talk about it. Everybody else died. Almost three
hundred people. One person survived. Its way up the news.

Speaker 7 (20:33):
This in the news that relates to you. These stories
are flying under the radar.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
It's way up at Angela. Yeah, and we got some
breaking news for under the radar allur Mom Wakings is here. Now.
You've been at this Didy trial from beginning till now
currently and so today you're here.

Speaker 5 (20:53):
But what is happening right now?

Speaker 3 (20:54):
Kanye West is at the courthouse right now. I got
a phone call and they were like, listen, Kanye is here.
I'm like, wait, hold, are you sure?

Speaker 6 (21:02):
So?

Speaker 3 (21:02):
I think do some calls? Looking around, and Kanye West
is in fact literally at the courthouse right now. He
will be inside sitting with the family.

Speaker 5 (21:10):
Wow, sitting with the family, meaning with.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
The family supporting Sean Colmes in his case.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
Goodness, gracious.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Now you remember that Kanye West had some things to
say about Kit Cutty testifying against Diddy. If you remember
a couple of weeks ago, he wrote on x I
wish Cuddy hadn't testified against Puff. We need to not
be locked in white systems, praying for Puff and his family.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
And Kit Cutty and Kanye used to be like this.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
So it's just interesting to see how the tide has shifted.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
But you know, maybe you know Kanye and Diddy or both.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
Well, there's rumors that there's rumors that Kanye is somehow
involved as a hip hop icon, but we don't know
if that's true.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
It's just what people are saying online.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
Yes, maybe he's a cup too.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
Okay, can we say cut cut Yeah? Okay, well I
said it ten times. Oh my goodness. All right, keep
you guys updated. And everybody's been saying that they thought
that Kanye was going to show up. They were saying
he tried to show up the other day, all kinds
of things, but he's literally there. Now there's footage of
him walking into the courtroom.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
It's gonna be definitely a media frenzy. And now you know,
Kanye likes this stuff, so he's a disruptor. So it's
gonna go crazy. Now what's going to be interesting is
how is the the jury going to react to this.

Speaker 5 (22:21):
Yeah, Kanye is not the most liked right now, I think, yeah,
in general.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
So does this help Sean's case or does this hurt
the case?

Speaker 2 (22:29):
I don't know, but I don't see too many people
coming out in support of Diddy, like celebrities.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
And I don't know if I wanted to be Kanye
right now.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
And Bianca's not with him, I know people were gonna
ask that too.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
Well, she can't show up to court and pasties, Oh
she could?

Speaker 5 (22:41):
Who You're right? They get her right up out of there,
all right.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
And the soul survivor from that Air India plane crash
has spoken. Two hundred and forty one other passengers and
crew dead, along with five more on the ground. Such
a tragic incident. And here is vis Vish was Kumar Ramesh.
He's the only survivor.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
Did anybody hate you or after that? You came out
on your own? How did you jump from the air crowd?
I'm not jumping, okay, I just woke over with a
how do.

Speaker 7 (23:09):
You feel that you've survived this kind of food? I
can'd of explained his medical losing.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
Yeah, he said he didn't.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
He opened his eyes, looked around, thought he was not
even alive when he opened his eyes.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
Whatever he did in his past life, he was a
good person. Yeah, you know what I mean, that's a
good karma right there.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
I don't know. It's just wild the way that life happens.

Speaker 3 (23:30):
So, I mean, whatever Jews, he's drinking whatever water he's having.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
But man, our condolences to all of the families and
people who lost loved ones.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
That is horrific. All right.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Well, the Way Up mix is at the top of
the hour, plus we have Egypt Shiad and Mike Jackson
joining us. They at the Stars of Marriage to Real
Estate on HGTV. They also have a marriage and Money podcast.

Speaker 5 (23:50):
It's way Up like they angel Jean, like they Angelie Jean.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
And she's spilling it all. This is yeaky Way Up.

Speaker 2 (23:59):
It's way yeah at Angela Yee and armand Wiggins is here.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
We've been having a good time we have with this Yuti.

Speaker 5 (24:05):
And I was telling you earlier.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
I know you missed it Kanye was in court, but
it looks like he's already left.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Yeah, it looks like he's already left, so we haven't
missed much. He came in and out. I think he
just came for the moment.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Honestly, has anybody reported like, what's you know? What happened inside?
Did they tell him he couldn't be in there?

Speaker 3 (24:22):
I'm quickly kind of seeing that they were saying that
he was not let into the main courtroom, so they
he might've just turned around because I couldn't imagine him
sitting in the overflow room.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
Yeah, he's like, I'm vip.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Yeah, So and that goal was the show. He probably
did come yesterday and they weren't having it, So he
probably came to day and they still didn't let him
in the main courtroom.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
So he probably left not show up to that if
you do not want that attention either too.

Speaker 5 (24:44):
By the way, all.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Right, well, in other news, you know yesterday they had
the Jane Doe on the stand and she testified that
she wanted one hundred thousand dollars for each year that
she spent with him, So that's four hundred thousand dollars.
Because she did it was wasted time. And she also
admitted that she was at a birthday party for him.

(25:06):
You know, she was, I guess kind of about to
do something with another well known rapper, Yes, and his
partner and also a male sex worker named Anton's that
happened in January twenty twenty four in Vegas.

Speaker 3 (25:19):
Yeah, January fifth, around that time, and so I think
that was interesting. People were trying to make the correlation
to Kanye West and his girlfriend too. It's not big affirmed,
but you know they were in Vegas during the same
time because Beyonca's birthday is around January fifth or so,
you know, everybody was in that area. So apparently Jane
Doe was there, and then she ended up at this

(25:40):
super famous rich person's house, I mean a hotel, and
they end up having a free call, but she wasn't
involved in the free call, so I don't know. I'm
just glad Jane Doe was not on the stand anymore
because I think she kind of confused the case for everybody.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah, it's the demands for money. It sounds like she
was in love with him and wanted him to her
herself and was very jealous every time he was with
somebody else. He was paying her rent, paying her bills
I think was ten thousand.

Speaker 3 (26:07):
Dollars ten thousand dollars a month a month.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Right, So but you know, I was like, I was
talking behind the scenes because we were discussing this, and
you were like, for me, as a woman.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
A woman, what do you think.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Well, A, I'm glad that I don't need to rely
on nobody to pay my bills. That is a blessing
for me. I did tell you that for some people,
financial abuse is a real thing where somebody holds money
over you. But they weren't in a relationship, and he
was very clear about that. So she could have left
it like it wasn't that. It felt like he even
wanted her to leave it time, but she thought she

(26:38):
was in a relationship. I think the problem began is
when the other girls were getting more than her. Perceivably
she didn't think that though, because she said she was
hurt that he describes himself as single and polyamorous. I
feel like he never makes it seem like I'm with
you and you alone.

Speaker 5 (26:52):
You know, So would you.

Speaker 3 (26:53):
Ever get mad if you were talking to a guy
and then you know, he brought you a bow take
a bag and then bought another grocery nail bag?

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Like?

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Does that matter? As a woman?

Speaker 6 (27:00):
I like?

Speaker 5 (27:00):
Botaka?

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Okay? So how much did the boat take a bag? House?

Speaker 5 (27:03):
It depends they do go on sale. Chanell never goes
on sale.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
I'll say that, oh like, but not a Chanel bag
that's never going on sale. But listen, I you know, well,
there you have it.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
There you have it. All right, Well that is your ut.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
When we come back, it's a Friday, so it's a
new music Friday. We'll tell you who's got albums and
who's got brand new singles out. Earlier, Kilowne was trending,
so we'll talk about that.

Speaker 5 (27:26):
It's way up here are.

Speaker 7 (27:27):
Going everybody since whether it's relationship or career advice. Angela's
dropping facts. This is ask what's up?

Speaker 5 (27:36):
His way up with Angela?

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Yee, And I'm here with armand Waggins, who's been guest
hosting all.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
Day, having a blast, and.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
You're ready to ask ye, I'm ready for that, all right,
we're gonna get some advice to Isaiah.

Speaker 5 (27:45):
Who's on the line. What's up, Isaiah?

Speaker 3 (27:47):
Hey, what's going on Isaiah?

Speaker 10 (27:50):
I was like, I got a little dilemma. So I
matched somebody on hands and they acting out on the date.
So we went on the date. Everything was good. But
now after the date, the person's always busy. But then
I'm like, all right, are you feeling me?

Speaker 7 (28:04):
Do I need to move on?

Speaker 10 (28:06):
I need to see other options. But they're like, no,
I'm interested in you. You know, I'm a little busy.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Right now in life.

Speaker 10 (28:12):
So I'm like, so let me give you a space,
let me get separate from each other. They're like, nah,
I feel interested in getting.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
To know you.

Speaker 8 (28:18):
I want to know.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
Am I being played with Isaia? Let me ask you
a question. So it's just a girl or a guy. Okay,
so now we can really talk. Did you put out
right away?

Speaker 7 (28:31):
So you did that too, right?

Speaker 3 (28:33):
So you gave him whatever you gave him, you know
what I'm saying. So you got to me, you know how, Yes,
no judgement, so you know how this goes. So he's
got other options right now. So he probably does like you,
but he might have a boyfriend that he's dealing with
and so when you're texting and calling, he might not
be in a position where he can really talk.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Right now, what was your first date? Like, what did
y'all do? Did you go out or did you stay in?

Speaker 10 (28:51):
We all went out, had some nice fool you want
to go see a movie. It was just some vibes,
you know, and we lived and joke all day. Okay,
now I'm just over here, like what the hell is
going on?

Speaker 2 (29:03):
Yeah, he clearly has some other things happening, because ain't
nobody that busy, you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (29:07):
But he also was trying to keep you hanging on
the string. Y are mine in case? Just in case?

Speaker 3 (29:12):
Well, because are too Maybe you're too interested too soon?

Speaker 4 (29:16):
You know.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
Sometimes you just kind of have to play the cool
car and ignore him for a week.

Speaker 8 (29:20):
Yeah, but I'm a good, losing little person.

Speaker 3 (29:22):
Like you told me you like me.

Speaker 8 (29:24):
We're getting married.

Speaker 9 (29:25):
Tomorrow, I'll get but that's on you.

Speaker 10 (29:33):
Like the boxes that I truly like, Like I was
like in my last relationship.

Speaker 8 (29:38):
So I feel like I was being.

Speaker 5 (29:39):
Love ball to our mind's point.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
He might got somebody else, and you know that might
have been fun for him. He was able to get away,
and now he's trying to keep you on whole till
he can.

Speaker 5 (29:48):
Get away again.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
What I'm saying, yeah, so you know, find somebody else
who's gonna marry you after the first date.

Speaker 3 (29:57):
And if you don't be getting married that quick you got,
you can't be given the you know so early.

Speaker 10 (30:02):
No, but that was accidental.

Speaker 3 (30:03):
You know, those are how you accidently give duties. Things
happen after dinner, that.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
Last things happen.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Are you still are you still on hinge?

Speaker 3 (30:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (30:16):
But big people will not matching like how they be matching.

Speaker 2 (30:19):
He's unhinged and he's unhinged. I love that for you, Isaiah.
Well listen, don't ever lose that trust and that like
love that you have for people. When you match with
the right person, they'll give you that same energy back.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
But you can see this person is not giving you
that energy back.

Speaker 10 (30:35):
All right, you're right, You're right.

Speaker 5 (30:36):
Okay, take care.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Well that was ask ye eight hundred two nine two
fifty one fifty. If you couldn't get through, you could
leave a message. Will answer your question that way and
when we come back. I got Egypt Cherad and Mike
Jackson from HGTV's Married to real Estate joining me.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
It's way up and no beg, we about to do
this one of the most famous women in radio vidio
and we're talking about angela Ye.

Speaker 7 (31:00):
You're way up with angela Ye. Please believe that.

Speaker 5 (31:03):
What's up? This way up with angela Ye. Let's get
into it.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
One of my favorite things to talk about with, my
favorite couple to talk about it with.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
Egypt and Mike Jackson are here with me today.

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Reals on a season four of Married to Real Estate,
a number one show on HGTV.

Speaker 11 (31:20):
By the way, thank you.

Speaker 5 (31:22):
I love it.

Speaker 12 (31:24):
Then you need to support it and let folks know, yes,
because there's rumors out there right now, there's you know, TV,
terrestrial television as a whole is going through some problems
where they're losing viewership online and so the average age
of those who watch terrestrial television is a lot higher now.

(31:46):
It's like sixty or seventy year old. Oh wow, that's
so as a result, the folks that you're seeing on
TV or the shows that are staying are the ones
they like.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
Right.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
I feel like you guys have a show that can
span and like many different age ranges too, because I
can see that happening. But you're right, like, we know
the younger generation, they're not watching TV the same way
that we did.

Speaker 11 (32:09):
Everything they do is streaming from their phone or their laptop.
So we're very intentional about getting out and making sure
we touch that audience. That's one of the reasons we
created the podcast to make sure we're not just stuck
in a box to where a certain age group will
only focus on us.

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Right right now, I'm talking to Egypt Sherada Mike Jackson
from HGTV's Married to Real Estate and the Marriage and
Money Podcast. You know what, I think is good that
you guys have this Marriage and Money podcast as well,
and that kind of also ties back into the show
and supplements what you have going on.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
There's therapy.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
There was one episode where you were talking about Mike's
divorce and his marriage, like before you Go, you really
watched No But You, and that was the first time
you guys had kind of discussed like the trauma from
other relationships, both of you, because Egypt you were like,
I don't never want to be in a relationship again
after this, I'm just gonna focus on.

Speaker 12 (32:59):
When Mike and I met, you were worth two years
out of a marriage at that point with a small baby,
I was like, oh, I had my list of like
I don't want him to have any kids, and I
don't want him to have been married, and you know,
just sort of this squeaky clean, boring but excited let's say,
I'm listen. But the truth is all the stuff that

(33:19):
I had on my list, Angela of what I thought
I didn't want to turn out to be the biggest
blessings in my life and in our relationship. I have
three girls now, not just the two I gave birth to.
The fact that he was married before is what actually
I think made him a better man and more prepared
for our marriage. Right, except for when he thought he
could tell me how to breastfeed, he.

Speaker 5 (33:40):
Did not because she lies.

Speaker 12 (33:44):
She loves like, I've been married before, you're opposed to
lift it.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
She's basically saying, through my experience, I would try to
offer her some suggestions on how to do things in
a certain way because I had been there, done, That's
that's all.

Speaker 5 (34:02):
That was all right. Egypt Charade and Mike Jackson are here.

Speaker 10 (34:05):
You know.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
I love talking about home renovations, flipping homes, real estate, furniture, all.

Speaker 5 (34:09):
The things well, we have more with them when we
come back. It's way up.

Speaker 7 (34:13):
Oh more way up with on them. What's up?

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Its way up with Angela Yee and we got Egypt
Charade and Mike Jackson.

Speaker 5 (34:23):
They are married but also married to real estate.

Speaker 2 (34:25):
You know, I wanted to talk about the New York
Times article and I saw you saying how hard like
you always are having to prove yourself and that really
upset you. And I can't blame you, Like it's exhausting
when you're doing the thing, you're having success and then
here comes oh, well they only breezed in and breezed
out because it's TV, and so sometimes people will think that,

(34:47):
like this isn't real. Are they really doing this renovating,
Are they really doing this designing? Or are they coming
in as married couple and putting on it. It's acting
for TV and they're not really involved.

Speaker 12 (34:57):
Listen, we've been very blessed. Here's what I want to say.
If everything were to come to an end today, the.

Speaker 3 (35:03):
Businesses don't end.

Speaker 5 (35:04):
What you see doesn't end.

Speaker 12 (35:05):
It just means oh, you're not seeing it on TV
and you're not getting the same press.

Speaker 5 (35:09):
And that's okay because.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
We're doing this for years before.

Speaker 12 (35:12):
But what's frustrating there are folks out there that are
not the real deal.

Speaker 5 (35:16):
Pick on them.

Speaker 12 (35:18):
Yeah, But like literally, for us, it was just about
and I don't even want to talk about the publication
or the journalists because it's really not about that. It's
just an implication of a broader issue at hand, that
black talent is under attack. It's always going to be
harder for us. We always got to work that much harder,

(35:39):
have to be that much more credential.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
We got to do the work.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
And I've been beyond.

Speaker 12 (35:45):
I've been on HGTV for fifteen years and it has
been an amazing journey. But it has not been without challenges,
of course, and not necessarily of the network as much
as just the public being ready for change or being
ready to see someone that doesn't look like them doing
things that they're surprised I should be doing, Like who

(36:05):
do you think you are to have a furniture line?
Where do you think you are to have these businesses?
Who do you think you are to have a happy
family and marriage? And it's like we're just trying to
live our best life.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Because I also think who writes an article and how
it's presented. I remember I had did this is so
long ago, but this publication had did an article about,
like my shoe closet. I had all these shoes and
I used to love to like buy shoes. That was
like the little treat I would give myself. And the
way they wrote the article was like, she don't own
a home, but she has shoes.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
What a waste.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
But then like literally a month later, they had a
white woman in there with her shoe closet and they
were like, Wow, she has the most envious shoe closet.
And I was like, well, damn she home either. But
the way that they presented both of us right where
was it like I was some irresponsible person.

Speaker 5 (36:57):
But they'll stop on that though, why is that?

Speaker 3 (37:00):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (37:00):
Let that marinate for me. It bothered me so much
at the time, just like it.

Speaker 12 (37:04):
Bothered me and there was some people who couldn't understand
why I got so upset. It's just publicity, I'm like,
because it would have never happened to someone that doesn't
look like me.

Speaker 2 (37:12):
Because when I watched the show, I can clearly see
and hear like when you guys, I can see that
y'all are very expertise in your business know exactly what
you're talking about, and I know people who have worked
with you, so we can see that. But honestly, congratulations
on an amazing fourth season.

Speaker 3 (37:28):
You can stream our.

Speaker 11 (37:28):
Show on HBO Max.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
You can get it on Discovery Plus.

Speaker 11 (37:32):
We found out we're also on Rokul TV.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
Go all right, We're good, We'll go back and rewatch
those episodes. Well, thank you guys so much. I always
appreciate and love seeing y'all both. Thank you, and when
we come back, you guys have the last word. You
can watch that for interview on my YouTube channel Way
Up with Ye.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
Take up the phone to gets your voice heard.

Speaker 7 (37:52):
What the word is? Here's the last word on Way
Up with Angela. Ye.

Speaker 5 (37:57):
What's up? His Way Up with Angela?

Speaker 3 (37:58):
Yee.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
I had a fun Friday with our mind Wiggins. Thank
you so much.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
Thank you for having me. I had a blasting up
here getting drunk and keep in with you today.
